With Zeze he’s SHOCKED but I feel like it’s partly due to the circumstances.

They’re in the middle of battle against a teacher and definitely do NOT have the upper hand. Sabro JUST got here and pretty much immediately hears his little sister saying she loves this guy???

But then he IMMEDIATELY turns his attention back to his opponent saying he won’t let her interfere with the device OR his sister’s love. He immediately accepts Sylvia is in love this random guy and like “I’ll protect this too” he puts it just as important as the objective of the test: surviving the teachers and making sure they don’t stop the others from making sure Sullivan isn’t “freed”

THEN LIKE 100 CHAPTERS LATER—

HES COMPLETELY 100% SUPPORTIVE AND LOOKS REALLY HAPPY FOR THEM WHEN HE THINKS SHE AND IRUMA ARE THERE TO ASK FOR HIS PERMISSION TO DATE

HIS ONLY NEGATIVE RESPONSE TO IT IS IT WOULD BE “PRICKLY” FOR HIS RIVAL TO BECOME HIS YOUNGER BROTHER BUT HE EVEN ACCEPTS AND SUPPORTS IT CAUSE ITS IRUMA

AND HE EVEN REMEMBERS AND MENTIONS ZEZE SINCE HE WAS THERE WHEN SHE TOLD ZEZE SHE LOVES HIM

Basically: amazing big brother who is supportive even when he doesn’t have full context of situation. She loves him? Okay! I’ll protect! And wring his neck if he made you cry!

Agares et Kerori sont bien d'accord sur le fait d'aider leurs proches mais pas forcément un inconnu si ils avaient fait leur demande. Je pensais pas revoir Zeze mais j'avais bien aimé comment ils montraient qu'ils dévoraient des lettres d'amour. Pour comprendre comment construire une personnage, Zeze les dirige vers leur grand frère qui évalue déjà leur compétence d'écriture en les mangeant. Curieuse de voir comment il va les évaluer par la suite.

Agares and Kerori agree to help their loved ones, but not necessarily a stranger if they had asked. I didn't think I'd see Zeze again, but I liked the way they showed how they devoured love letters. To understand how to build a character, Zeze directs them to his older brother, who is already assessing their writing skills by eating them. I'm curious to see how he evaluates them next.

This chapter was excellent for the soul, but here is a snippet of something I find hilarious. Love the student council, especially Thier interactions with Iruma, which will be more interesting now with Vine kun and Zeze.

im currently brainrotting rn and very distraught bc tumblr didnt save my first draft of this post so now im rewriting it again ANYWAY

zeze and the zepar family distinctly look deer based, their horns have ear tufts that (i think) deer have, as well as zeze's tail being deer-like in appearance

though palailaka doesn't have horns, those two black parts of her hair slightly resemble a deer's ears

here he kind of resembles a deer don't you think? not sure how or why but he does in my mind

his grand cocoon is beautiful, please, look at it. it's so pretty, and at first i thought, Yeah that fits his aesthetic, and then thought what other demons' grand cocoons look like and remembered balam cast one aswell

balam's cocoon have thick vines on it and i think it calls back to his first appearance pre-hair care routine(/j) as well as when he was fighting the monster in walter park

then bc i think too much i thought abt what that could mean for zeze and did some quick googling, and found Nara Park. a park in Japan that's known for being the home of hundreds of free roaming deer and has been selected as one of Japan's "100 best cherry blossom spots"

i just found this very interesting that maybe osamu nishi took inspiration from the park for this One spell and im a sucker for small trivial details
