I found one of my old Zexal AU sketches, Astral's design has changed a little since I'm reworking the AU.

He's talking about Yuma, him and Astral are blood relatives in Twisted Realities.

I don't know if I want to keep Ai-Hoshi in this AU, I might because I kinda like his AU design, but considering he's my Zexal OC I'm not entirely sure if I should.

This whole AU came from a fucking dream I had like a year and a half ago.

in the yumadon Au is yuma actually a part of Don thousand like a piece of soul or Split personality created for a purpose or is Don just possesing yuma ?

exactly! actually i did a small summary those days about that

Don Thousand released a part of his soul before being sealed by Astral in order to find the legendary numbers that were what sealed him and weakened his powers. This soul was Arcus and he arrives precisely with Vector to begin his plan to corrupt those who have these cards using Vector.

However, Arcus begins to doubt the mission and does not want to do it, so Don Thousand sends another weak part of himself that is only power in order to eliminate Arcus and possess his body, which causes his death at the hands of Vector, which corrupts him and creates war. Here Arcus accepts who he is and decides to continue with the plan to corrupt all the Barians, but his mortal body fails and he dies, causing him to be reborn as a human again, this time as Yuma.

Don Thousand after seeing Vector's memories when he fuses with him to give him power and turn him into a demi-god to go against the other Barians decides to use Vector's revenge to go against Yuma to also make the boy recover his old memories and powers and so once the boy is more susceptible Don Thousand can possess him and recover his body so he can eliminate Astral.

At the same time, there is this part of Yuma that feels extremely guilty, which is what remains of Arcus, and he appears to help Yuma fight against Don Thousand's influence and prevent him from eliminating a friend again. In this case, Astral is Yuma's friend, just as Vector was to Arcus.

Interesting Yugioh Zexal AU idea (and yes, I'll be using the dub names, I don't watch the sub). What if, instead of the girl Yuma hangs out with and the bully he duels in the beginning to become friends with being Tori and Shark, it was Anna and Alito instead? Yuma and Anna are friends but butt heads due to sexual tension and Yuma and Alito duel and Alito is legit impressed by Yuma's passion, drive and determination and becomes his rival.

• First off, yes you're right Ai and Kira aren't bio siblings, Ai only has one and her name is Gi (pronounced 'Gee' lol, ik people have pronounced it wrong like with Ai's), but Ai does actually consider Kira to be his younger sibling, because why not? Ai's (living) family consists of him, his sister, his father, his mother, his niece and obviously Kira. His mother left when Ai was nine and his father faked his death when Ai was seven, so Gi practically raised him.

And yes Hoshi is Ai's dad! This is him. He's an asshole, I hate him a lot :)

The reason Ai looks so different to his family is a whole long explanation, but the short version is he's a reincarnation. Ai's earrings are actually a family heirloom that Hoshi gave to him before his "death", just a fun bit of info.

• Second, Kero is another OC. That's not his real name, it's just an alias. His whole deal is a bit of a secret until I actually start my ask blog >:)

• Third, nope Kira is not mute! Similar situation as the Barian's, but Kira could just be summed up as telepathy. I have a few mute OCs so I have thought about it, but I decided to let them be able to talk ^^

ALSOOO This is Gi if you're wondering:

She's about 23, so eight years older than Ai is. Stars, puppetry and scars are mainly the theme that the Tenmongaku's were based on if that wasn't obvious. Gi, Hoshi and Ai's mother are very much dragons, just a different kind to Ai because reincarnation.

I've been thinking about this a lot and honestly there's multiple ways it could go, I'll probably draw a few of them :D

OH MY GOD IS CLOVERLEAF ACTUALLY THINKING OF AN AU THAT DOESN'T TIE IN WITH DAD THOUSAND?! YES I AM

What if some of the characters got forcibly fused with monster cards and became uncontrollable and messed up hybrids who wander aimlessly and search around the crumbled remains of Heartland city for something to eat (or whoever did it, it'll be unclear if they remember anything) For example:

Kite/Kaito would be fused with the Galaxy eye photon dragon

Ryoga/Shark would be fused with Shark Drake

And either Yuma or Astral would be fused with Utopia!

And one day a couple of years later some kids decide to go exploring in the locked off Heartland City because, ha nobody can tell us what to do! And they find one of them

AND AND

One of the people who constantly warn them against going into Heartland City would be Hart/Haruto because he knows that there's no saving his big brother or the others :(
