So. I got basic and in the end of the last TOME movie caught a crush with Zetto. All that: "I would fight everyone for you, even you!". Thing that he had going on with Kizuna. I don't know. I was like ok man (.///.), I don't understand you. But I love nonsense so thanks for existing. (I'm in other places with other names, but I didn't want to post this at Twitter.)

Still Kirbito is my fav. I mourned him. T-T.

i think i might've mentioned an AU or two on here before but i recently realized i've never properly written/drawn about and posted my personal favorite yet, so i figured i'd go for it.

the tl;dr is that it (after-affect) is a more sombre/horror-heavy take on tome's existing plot with higher stakes and worse outcomes, and delves heavier into themes of trauma, mental illness, disability, and recovery from a personal perspective.

i've rewatched tome in bits and pieces since i started properly working on/with my disabilities, and ever since i've continually developed different headcanons and theories about it's characters until eventually i said "fuck it" and decided to put it all together into a semi-cohesive AU that i'm still actively working on.

tome has always made me introspective about some of the more serious issues it touches on (like mental illness and trauma) and has made me feel seen/represented when it comes to those issues for a long time, but i feel like i've only gotten the ability to really sit down and voice exactly why that is properly very recently; this au is a way for me to really dig deep and expand on those parts of tome in a way that makes sense to me. here's hoping it's as interesting as i'd like it to be, lol

Fantasy!AU Kizuna and Tigerlilly

She is no longer banished off screen. Plus here’s Alpha. His design is already pretty fitting for the Fantasy AU so I didn’t change much.

Made Tigerlilly fluffier looking because I want to sell the fact that the Netkings shapeshift in order to disguise themselves. Kizuna can also do the small orange cat form but I haven’t drawn it yet. It’s also the same reason Zetto has a cape that turns into Kirb’s cloak when he changes forms.

Kizuna doesn’t leave the base often, so Tigerlilly and it’s insignia are sort of seen as a superstitious bad omen. If you see them, something bad is going to happen.

And since the Fantasy AU means that Usernames are their real names, the nicknames Zet and Kiz get tossed around all the time since they’ve know each other for basically forever.
