i see people being like crazy together is romantic bc "love makes you crazy" BUT,, if you actually watch that scene, jonathan fights steve not because he insulted nancy, but because he insulted joyce and will. therefore, the "love" that made him crazy in this scene was familial love.

therefore, [blank] makes you crazy = famial love makes you crazy. mikes feelings for el are familial. we see this in things like mike being paralleled to brenner ("what have you done?") and paralleled to luke and leia.

contrast this to "crazy together" -- unlike "love makes you crazy" and "blank makes you crazy", "crazy together" is said by both parties, its a love that is acklowedged by both sides. romantic relationships are about being a team, about being together. therefore crazy together = romantic love
