Liyue currently ondefvoing a national emergency (what’s the death toll of that village?)

The adepti would probably equate the cursed spirits to something along the lines of 'powerful demonic spirits.' More on that in the future if I ever get around to writing another snippet for this haha.

The death toll is high, but there are still a handful of survivors from the village. As for the village itself, it's abandoned in the aftermath of this incident.

... If we think of this in game terms, it's probably a world quest for the Traveler whenever they come across the ruins lol.

in general, nyx doesn't really get on our discord as often as me, zenny and death, because nyx's job is very time consuming. you could compare nyx to russel in early stages of gorillaz (fuck i miss early gorillaz), just sorta... being there.

as for me, jasper and death... i'll let screenshots do the talking.

the last one is a quote of me and zenith on call. there's also a lot of slurs and telling people to kill themselves. to clarify, we do not support sending that to people. we're all very good friends and every "kill yourself" we send to each other is jokes and good fun. the slurs, too. while i picked some of the more fun bits, there's also a lot of technicalities and general communication going on. we're all fine with all the shit we say - nosferatu

a quick break from the torment to go back to the weird westerners! this one fills multiple prompts, kind of: multiple whumpees, team as family, and "death do us part". it's a day late but oh well. also: to whoever's been reblogging my stuff onto the whumptober archive blog, ty!!!! it is an honor and a privilege, truly.

"I'm really sorry I got us into this," Rosa says. Her voice is hoarse—partially from dehydration, partially because it's hard to get out. "...You should have run."

"And left you?" Zeni's voice floats from the other side of the jail cell's concrete wall. "Please."

"I'm hurt you think so low of us," Dawn says from the other other side. "We're your friends, Rosa. We're not just gonna up and leave you."

"That's right," Zeni says. "If one of us makes a dumb mistake, we all make a dumb mistake."

Rosa sniffles—there's not really enough moisture left in her body to cry, but she sure feels like it.

Friends. They're friends?

Of fucking course they're friends, Rosa scolds herself. What else do you call the people who you've been patching the wounds of for weeks? You don't think twice of letting them take guard while you sleep, and you're surprised they're your friends?

"What about you, Eve?" Zeni says. "You gonna say anything to rally our flagging floral comrade?"

There's a moment's silence and then a noise of irritation from a couple cells away. "I had just gotten myself to start going intangible, Zeni! Now I have to start all over again!"

Rosa can't help it. She laughs. It's the kind of laugh borne partially of frayed nerves and verging on hysterical, but it makes her feel better nonetheless. 

"You all good over there?" Dawn's voice says.

Rosa sniffles and wipes at her eyes. "Yup. All good. Just...a bit cold in here."

"I'll say," Zeni says. "Eve, get back on that intangibility thing."

"I'm trying!"

Rosa sighs, fond half-smile creeping its way onto her face despite herself. At some point between all the bickering and near-misses and stupid decisions, she's come to really like these people.

"Hey," Dawn says, softly. It sounds like she's right up next to the wall now. "You know we weren't kidding about not leaving you behind, right?"

"Right," Rosa says. "One for all and all for one, and all that."

"'Till death do us part."

"'Till death do us part. ...Again."

Rosa can't see Dawn's face right now, but she can imagine it. "...Yeah. Again."
