I’m more inclined to stick with the idea of a weaved pitcher with which to catch the material mainly because it has a sort of narrative to it; a silk ‘pail’ is a clear predecessor to a metallic (or plastic?) one, and certainly makes the pail seem like a more natural progression. Which is sort of what I was going for!

An internal coating process definitely has its own merits, but lacks the continuity I had in mind when spiders were going through my head.

I think that Drip is rather scared of Gl'bgolyb ever noticing her presence on Alternia tbh

It’s probably why she’s so scared of interaction with trolls and absolutely why she avoids tyrians like the plague. After all, heirs and heiresses are but the Mother’s eyes and ears. 

Drip hardly does much damage on her own, at least when her hunger is kept in check. If she were to abstain from eating at all, she would surely fall into a ravenous madness and go on a rampage that would catch more than a bit of attention.

She doesn’t want to be on Alternia at all, honestly. Drip basically fell through a gap in the planes and was yanked away from the Outer Ring by the rip-current of a far greater horror moving about/being summoned.

🎨 Who inspires you artistically or literarily in the community? 

Oh boy there are a lot! When it comes to artistic inspirations I adore @cirquedutrolleil‘s character designs and how they’re all so easily recognizable. I also love @galacticaphelion’s art style and aesthetics, @caelumteria‘s coloring style, @terribletrollstbh‘s style and designs, @maritimemelancholy‘s lineart, and @brinytrolls‘ attention to detail. There are so many wonderful artists in this community and I really hope I’ll be on their level one day.

And god, the writers of this community. Fics and meta are some of the best parts of the fantrolling experience in my opinion. I really look up to @trollsalt and @backcrosstrolls for interesting fics and rps that show off characterization even in pretty mundane things. I will also forever envy @sanguinariuswhiplash for being able to write overpowered characters while keeping them complex and flawed and interesting, and also for being able to write quality stuff quickly. In addition, I ​love @altamaranempire‘s, @zeetrollplays‘, and @welastrolls‘ headcanons.

⭐️ What are personality/physical traits you love to see in characters?

Buff women and twinks will always have my heart and I’m sure you all know that. Aside from that, I adore hot evil scientists, the more immoral the experiments performed the better. I also have a bit of a thing for very religious characters, clown or otherwise, Fleet trolls, and hemoloyal lowbloods. And sort of alluding to those last three, one of my favorite things is when something important about a character ties back to a headcanon or worldbuilding element in some way, sorta showing the interplay between the character and the culture they live in.

I vaguely remember some of my trolls' classpects and sessions.

Sonja was a prince of rage, Thiomi was a witch of time, and Shadah was a thief of space. @zeetrollplays and I had an entire session with them and three of his characters. Their session was glitched, and instead of being gods over the world they created, they were reincarnated into it with no memory of their past life as trolls or playing the game.

Psilar was an heir of light, and their session would be a success. Everyone God tiered, they defeated the black king, and they became gods of their new world.

Maeron was a witch of heart and a kiss of death to any session she joined. She refused to give birth to a universe where the mirthful messiahs don't exist, so she would doom the session by killing all the other players. She also goes grimdark in every session. Nowadays, instead of Maeron it would be Takimi.

Sayble was a void player (I forgot his class) and his session was technically a success but ultimately pyrrhic victory. He's the last one to God tier and the only one to survive the final battle with the black king.

Getting on the intro bandwagon

Hello everyone! My name is Patrick, I’m a 25 year old dude from Massachusetts, and I’ve been doing the fantroll thing since early 2012, first on Pesterchum and here on tumblr since 2013. I’ve been roleplaying in general for a good 9 years now, since high school.

I always enjoy seeing new faces in the community and am willing to RP with pretty much everyone. I don’t have too many strongly-held headcanons, so can generally roll along with whatever ideas people bring to the table.

If you have an idea for a thread, or want to have your character meet one of mine, or just want to chat, feel free to message me! I’m also on discord and skype. I’m open to ships if the troll in question isn’t already taken and if they click properly with yours.

My blog is pretty much all RP stuff and promos of other people’s blogs and commission posts. You won’t find any public drama here, and in the unlikely case of something nsfw being on the blog it will be thoroughly tagged. Also mind the theme, I’ve been meaning to fix its broken code for a while now.

Five fantrollers who’ve influenced how/what I rp! Exactly how much varies, but it’s all significant.

1. @altamaranempire - I borrow a lot of fleet headcanons from her, and general troll design stuff. She also made me more enthusiastic about bugs.

2. @activatingaggro - Share a lot of areas and cultural worldbuilding, plus I adore their psiionic headcanons. 

3. @anontrolls - Also share areas, love the jade headcanons, love the bug tech, love love love it all unu

4. @zeetrollplays - So many cool horrorterror/eldritch ideas and miscellaneous other stuff, like the solar panels headcanon.

5. @hemospect - Good sopor headcanons and adorable stuff like snugglebug development, but also really cool shit with clowns and deepseadwellers.
