Also, this is a minor nitpick, but I cannot believe that Professor X of all people is actually arguing, "Well, maybe The Goddess is doing a good thing!"
Leans in...
No, Charles! No, she wasn't! I know your whole schtick is that you're a Martin Luthor King Jr. expy and so you'd rather things be peaceful, but you're a telepath with limited mind-control abilities. You should know some woman brainwashing your friends into being her loyal subjects and making villains docile (without their consent) is a bad thing!
This is like arguing, "Well maybe Doctor Doom did a good thing when he kidnapped The Purple Man and turned his mind-control powers into a frequency that he used to brainwash the world and made himself Earth's Emperor! He was doing things to improve humanity!". Yeah! And he still kidnapped a man and brainwashed the entire world into being his slaves! Zebadiah Killgrave might be a monster! But he still has rights!

Kara's Backstory/Canon
// realizing that in addition to her skin color, hair color, age, nationality, or her species... they also can't decide what her powers are!
So I feel like I need to set that straight because like a lot of background characters her lore is a clusterfuck of bad ideas and concepts.
Basics! Has purple skin! Born in the 1970s, was a teenager in the 1980s. Did her time with Alpha Flight, is Canadian by birth.
Is not a mutant. Seriously if it wasn't important enough to note when they were doing the whole 'mutants must all live here' thing in Marvel, it's not a thing.
Also not a psychic. I don't know when Marvel decided to go with that, but that's not a thing.
Kara is the daughter of the Purple Man aka Zebadiah Killgrave. Like him, her body produces and emits a virus that infects everyone around her through their skin and through breathing; this allows her to control them when making a command. Unlike her father, she can control when she uses it. She's not psychic, she can't see into people's heads.
She's gone by a lot of names over the years, these days she goes by Persuasion.
#ooc#Marvel can't even decide what her skin color is I don't know why I thought they'd stick with the powers she's had since her inception

Video
youtube
This was a request, where the person wanted an experience being in the control of someone else. To accommodate this, this video gives the listener a phrase that they can then give to someone else. When they do so, they will then find themselves compelled to listen to the commands of whomever they gave the phrase to.
As always, please feel free to give suggestions or requests!

Me before watching Jessica Jones: David Tennant could ask me to do literally anything and I'd do it.
Me after watching Jessica Jones: This statement may have backfired....

Guys, just because someone likes a character, likes the extent of the acting made by the actor, enjoys watching how menacing and disturbing he is in the context of the show, and all that... doesn’t mean that they condone ANYTHING that that character has done, and doesn’t mean they support ANY of the bad and horrible shit and encourage it in everyday life.
So stop labeling people who like Kilgrave as sick or whatever the fuck y’all are saying. Because some of us just have the tendency to always like the villian. Some of us like that feeling of chills down our spine when watching brilliant acting of an evil and psychotic villian. But in NO WAY does this mean that these people are in any way ok with anything that he did. They may well hate Kilgrave with all their being for the shit that he did, but absolutely love watching him on screen. I mean, I can’t explain why I love it, I just do. But I absolutely ABHOR him at the same time, and I had to pause constantly because I was so disturbed. But then he has also become one of my favorite, as well as my most hated, MCU villians.
So unless someone’s words or actions proves otherwise... stop these assumptions and name calling. Be considerate of other people.
Thank you.
