Soarers magic system - puppeteers

Nomenclature - direct translation to existing englisch word

Medium range - couple to tens of meters (like, a yard)

Low endurance - cannot use their powers for more than minutes at a time, then they need long breaks

Medium versatility - can work with vraci, nymphs and thinkers to unlock new powers

Some sub-specialties:

Short range high impact - preferred in on-duty law enforcement

High range low impact - preferred for crowd control in public events

Belief manipulation with no direct impact on actions (faux puppet)

Action manipulation with no impact on belief (true puppet)

Shadow puppeteering (influence through no words, eye contact or skin contact)

Some extremes:

Puppet maintains induced belief for over 24 hours

Puppet performs uncharacteristic and extreme action with no resistance

Multiple puppets at the same time

Some law limitations:

No sexual or romantic persuasion (couples involving puppeteers must be validated by law)

No soaring at all in banks, police departments, city halls or other such public spaces, unless authorized

No committing crime through puppets, duh

The puppeteers' legislation is its own book but basically as long as they don't hurt/harm/humiliate/assault/etc. they're allowed to make people puppets. The puppet might sue anyway, but most people are used this zbor and won't make a big deal out of doing a little dance against their will now and then
