The Worm is more then happy to fly over and land on her hand, having been waiting for her to be fully conscious for days. Humans were so easy to hurt, their minds were so fragile. They hated it.
The singular Worm clings to her stubbornly regardless of how she moves, determined to stay right there on her. This one is a part of their swarm so it's a little more personally invested then the greater Hive would be.
Not even food will remove it.
Though that may speed Zazie's personal return. A little bit.
Maybe a lot.

Days... She's been out that long? Aves's expression is dropped to something uncomfortable from her resting face. She barely remembered exactly why she was out in the first place never mind how long it's been. [Days. I was out for days?] That partially explained the IV. She glanced down to where it is inserted, clear that she had intended to remove it on her own with the new lack of a bandage.
[Yeah they have a habit of that.] Aves follows the path of Rook's gaze to the side table and seeing a flying worm had never given the teen as much relief until now. The first expression change that wasn't from neutral to negative forms on her face. The corners of her lips up turn just a touch, and she leans over to get a closer look at the bug. [Zaz.] Her voice box doesn't have a tone to show the tone in her words but there is some chirping, peeping tones the come out. She holds out a hand for the worm to perch on if they desired. Aves is sure that the swarm will want to do a check up on her themselves now. All of the information she's getting from Rook is enough to keep her mind busy on the current situation. A small request to try and eat something is fair enough. She looks back up to Rook and points to her arm. [If I can take this out. I'll give eating a go.] Maybe it's a little bit of a weird thing to compromise on. Though it is the closest she could get to letting someone else have a say in it.
