Luna Jane Arabella Berry-Jones Flores, is my ramshackle sona and lover of Vinnie, She is a rich girl that has a mean and stuck up behavior at the start but slowly becomes sweeter, nurturing, nice and caringto more people, she's also very curious and since she decided to be different LOVES to learn new stuff, but please don't mess with her routine.

She starts off as mean and oblivious and naive as the others until one day she goes to one of the many ramshackle's next top sweetheart pageants as a guest for winning three times when she was a infant, and seeing a certain brunette scrap fight some lootbags, which somehow made her start to have "strange feelings" (she's gay and in love but she needs to listen to Chappell Roan to know that)

She then has more unexpected meetings with Vinnie that is basically Luna and Vinnie bickering, Vinnie pranking Luna in some way and Luna leaving confused, angry but also flustered at Vinnie's nature.

She then starts discovering herself and loses that obliviousness and wants to start getting to know scraps her and Vinnie slowly start becoming friends but always still with a tension.

The thing Luna still is oblivious with her feelings (GOOD LUCK BABE, YOU'LL HAVE TO STOP THE WORLD JUST TO STOP THE FEELING) and I think surely Vinnie thinks Luna is too good for her.

I didn't know how to make a intro for a blog so I took @small-world-au 's intro as a template (of course with their permission) so thankssssssss darling!

Luna after the occurrence with Vinnie she starts writing this tiny magazine, where she writes all the towns gossip, she obviously wouldn't be allowed to do this so she writes these tiny magazines with a alter ego called "Lady Amourville" and to not be discovered she also writes a bit of gossip about herself... At the start she writes only about the gossip between the rich folk but then as she becomes less and less ignorant she writes more and more about the scraps at a point where she writes about scraps equally if not more than the rich folk and it slowly becomes a testimony book and a way to show the rich folk that they're not so different from the scraps, that they all have they're dark sides, problems and love affairs and some metal and paper can't make them different from eachother. So it basically becomes a instrument to show her advancing as a character, and also that's it's heavily inspired in Lady Wistledown from "the Bridgertons".

(Maybe I'll start writing little chapters and things about her storyline in ramshackle and her romance with Vinnie, let me know if you'd guys like that and your completely allowed to make fan-things for the Ladytramp (Luna x Vinnie) ship and for my character, as long as you give me credit and also because I LOVE WHEN MUTUALS DRAW AND MAKE FAN-STUFF, FOR MY SELFSHIPS I'LL REBLOG YOU AND THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES LIKE A LITTLE GIRL RECEIVING A TRIP TO DISNEYLAND AND I'M SERIOUS!!!💕💕)

Day 9: Relationships

Fun one today! Some of my characters are in active relationships, while others are single for the time being.

Darwin is single, but in the future he has a platonic relationship with Arikas, since they both go into diplomatic work!

And look, here's Zaria's parents! Rei (left) is the same species as Zaria and Taka (right) is a Stekaru like Kali, but is a different subspecies that's like a whale shark. They've been married for just over 50 Rastorian years and own and run a cafe together.

Week 5: Motorcycles and Thefts

This week we've got stolen lungs, a stolen TV, and two different stories involving motorcycles.

Monday February 6, 1995 Star Trek: Voyager S1E05: "Phage" - 8 PM on UPN

Don't you just hate it when an alien steals your lungs? This week's Voyager introduces the Vidiians, an alien species that's restored to stealing organs to try to combat a deadly disease (the titular phage).

The Vidiians will return at some point, but the focus here was really more on the Doctor starting to stretch the bounds of his programmed duties by creatively finding a stopgap solution to save Neelix, and then on Neelix himself dealing with the possibility of living indefinitely with holographic lungs. I'll link my friend @elimgarakdemocrat's recent post on Neelix here that was sparked by rewatching this episode with me [1].

Platypus Man E03: "The Apartment Show" - 9 PM on UPN

I generally liked the A plot of this episode about Paige wanting a baby and trying to find a sperm donor. The B plot about Richard trying to keep his rent controlled apartment when his ex-girlfriend's name is on the lease was more meh. The quality of the recording I was watching was also awful, with static-y audio throughout and occasional skips, so as an actual viewing experience, this was kind of unpleasant. Speaking of unpleasant...

Pig Sty E03: "Iowa vs. New York" - 9:30 PM on UPN

Actually, this week's Pig Sty was fine. The A plot about Iowa's misadventures in attempting to get cable legally was a perfectly okay sitcom story. The B plot about Cal stealing socks from an old man was weird but a pretty small part of the episode as a whole.

One bone to pick: the boys apparently need cable to watch Tess play a minor character in an episode of Voyager, but UPN should have been available over-the-air for free like other broadcast networks. Both new networks certainly had issues with getting affiliates to cover the whole country, but New York had UPN flagship station WWOR-TV for the network's entire existence. Am I misunderstanding something here, or was this just a plot contrivance that I'm reading too much into?

Tuesday February 7, 1995 Marker E04: "High & Wild" - 8 PM on UPN

In this week's Marker, Richard helps an up and coming baseball pitcher and the wife he's in the process of divorcing. The pitcher is attacked by someone on a motorcycle, and his wife's recent interest in them makes her a prime suspect.

I don't know what it is about this show, but I find myself fully engaged with pretty much every episode, even though I can't really find anything special about the show as a whole.

The Watcher E04: "A Change of Heart" - 9 PM on UPN

Wednesday February 8, 1995 The Wayans Bros. S1E05: "My Fair Marlon" - 8 PM on The WB

I was lukewarm on this week's Wayans Bros at first, where Shawn plays Cyrano to help Marlon woo a girl, but I thought the ending in the restaurant was really strong. Sidenote, but I loved Lisa's outfit in the scene where she discovers the love letter Shawn wrote on behalf of Marlon [2].

The Parent 'Hood S1E04: "Crappy Anniversary" - 8:30 PM on The WB

This week's episode of The Parent 'Hood felt a bit disjointed, though I think some of that might be some poorly timed ad breaks from Tubi. The A plot has Robert unwisely pretending to forget his and Jerri's anniversary [3], which backfires when a blizzard cancels his elaborate actual plans. The B-plot here involves Zaria loaning Michael the money to buy a 3DO [4] and making him earn back the money in increasingly embarrassing ways.

Definitely the weakest episode so far, but the cast and overall writing quality keeps even a meh episode of The Parent 'Hood enjoyable.

Unhappily Ever After S1E05: "Jack The Ripper" - 9 PM on The WB

Unhappily Ever After continues to have the occasional decent joke buried under mountains of misanthropy, sexism, and just general mean-spiritedness. This week's episode revolves around Jennifer's mother, who everyone in the family hates [5]. Jack accidentally(?) hits her with his new motorcycle. There's then an extended sequence of Jack's various fantasies of killing her, which honestly might be the episode's strongest part? Anyway, this show remains at the top of my list to drop when the schedule gets busier in the fall.

Muscle: "Episode 6" - 9:30 PM on The WB

Next week, we get one more new show from this first season, as there's actually an episode of The Watcher that I've been able to find a source for.

It really tightly dates this episode that the 3DO could have been the hot new game console, since it was released in late 1993 and was pretty much immediately obsoleted by the PlayStation, which released in September 1995 in North America. ↩

Mahina: albino catfish mermaid; girlfriend of Zaria -When she was born, her parents (both carriers of albinism but do not have it themselves) saw she was albino and had vision problems, putting her survival at risk; so they performed a special spell that, while limited, could at least improve her vision. The spell altered her eyes to be able to see just as well as, if not better than, average merfolk especially at night. The trade-off being that on full moon nights her vision returns to its naturally poor quality until dawn (basically extremely near-sighted to the point where things that are more than 2 feet away become too blurry to make out.) Because of this she gets very anxious on full moon nights and prefers to find somewhere to hide until dawn.

-Unlike other merfolk, her voice does not have any magical quality to it so she is unable to charm anyone. This is due to [TBD: injury while she was a baby? Birth defect?]. Also, her singing (while not horrible) is not quite as good as other merfolk's. Other merfolk have mocked her for this lack in magic and singing ability, making her highly self conscious of her singing. Zaria always comforts her and often works with her to improve her singing (it will never be magical but her skill increases.)

Zaria: tiger shark mermaid; girlfriend of Mahina -Likes horror genre but knows Mahina is easily scared by it so will be careful to not expose her to it unless she (Mahina) asks. If she does, although Mahina's reactions are very amusing to her, Zaria will attempt to comfort her with humor through-out to take her mind off the scariness and will often check in and offer to turn off the game/movie/etc if it becomes too much for her.

-Able to shapeshift between human and mermaid form (something Mahina wants to learn how to do, but is really nervous of messing up and dying on land so needs Zaria's help to boost her confidence and learn/practice the skill.)
