Star and Branch as kids spent a lot of time together, as the older one, Branch took good care of Star who saw him as a brother figure after they both lost their families. Star went grey too but he was more willing to make friends and stay in contact with the rest of the village so he found his colors again with the help of the snack pack. Adult trolls took turns hosting him and other orphan trollings after the escape, he didn’t have a stable house life so he preferred spending time in the bunker helping Branch when he wasn’t playing with his friends.

I have so many ideas about them and Star’s childhood gaahhh
