Aaand thinking of Zania again. This time how to further incorporate kink into her story 🤔

Def now solidifying that she got her spidey powers via willing experimentation. The powers def didn’t kick in right away, so it would have been marked as a failure. Especially since she’d need to keep the powers a secret in order to have a superhero identity. Sooo, I could def go the experiment route with certain kinks 👀

Like experiments to see if they could make food that’s more nutritious and filling, but the side effects include rapid weight gain. Perhaps some kind of injection or gas that, once in the body, causes either instant or constant weight gain.

And it’s all willing, so Zania would have to figure out ways to reverse it if she wants to continue crime fighting, but, of course her nemesis/partner knows all this and always knows how to make sure she keeps getting bigger. Sneaking the substances into her food at home. Using it during fights.

Each experiment just provides more ways to slowdown Night Jumper and she’s enjoying it way too much as well

Finally thought of something to ask! Has Zania ever interacted with other spider-folk, whether in or outside her dimension?

(Also just wanted to say, seeing Zania here kinda makes me want to talk about + make more kink art of some of my existing spider ocs on my nsfw blog too! Hopefully I’ll actually put them on there, one of these days lol 😅)

She has not yet! Although it was spider-verse that inspired her initial creation, so it has been a possible thing to come up with for a while :]

And, hey! Always happy to be inspo! Just take your time. Surprisingly putting her on here actually helped me get back to making an updated design and story for her. I think I might make Zania super hairy/furry. Maybe like a tarantula, or something softer 🤔

Or at least visibly hairy limbs, plus part of her mane being naturally very fluffy and big around the head and neck, which would give them reason to shave it so much. Just so she can fit in their spider suit and fit in a bit more on Earth.

On the other hand, what does Zania's partner think of her?

He thinks she’s surprisingly naive (this coming from a man who’s in support of the criminals running the city). Beautiful in a very strange way he can’t describe, but could be made all the more beautiful in an image of his liking. He doesn’t like how she’s actively hiding the fact that the experiment which gave her powers was actually a major success. He thinks she should just come clean and let their peers record the actual results. Despite seeing her as naive, he also knows that she’s smart. Just not smart enough to realize why he continues to greenlit the more physically altering experiments. He also see her as a possible link to the potential to further human evolution. If only he could just find the right words to convince her for such things.

Would Zania's lab do experiments with her that help with her mobility, once she's big enough for her weight to have an effect on that?

I definitely say they would. It takes a bit longer for mobility to be affected further than waddling thanks to her strength, so they have more time to develop something to help with it. While they’re doing that, she’s trying to figure out how to reverse it so she can go back to super heroing as soon as possible. Which takes much longer than anyone thinks thanks to combined experiments and her partner.

What are Zania's best traits?

I’d say that her bests traits are that she’s optimistic, surprisingly adaptive to new environments, and willing to give villains all the chances they need to try to become better (which is also a downfall, because there are villains who would rather be villains than to do any good).

When does Zania realize that her partner is her nemesis?

So far not anytime soon. Maybe one day if he slips up and accidentally uses one of his pet names for them, or purposefully unmasks himself in front of her away from prying eyes. I haven’t figured out which.

Honestly, I still don’t know the when. It could be when he’s successfully made her immobile. It could be sooner. It could even be way later when she’s at a point where all she can think about is eating and is so huge that she’s a true blob with hands, feet and face beginning to sink in to her fat.

What kinds of experiments does Zania like to help with best? Does she stick to just testing things or does she have scientific knowledge she can contribute as well?

A number of different things, mostly anything that could be useful for both her race and man kind. Food things, potential medicine, technology, etc.

She does have her own scientific knowledge she contributes. Things that she and her previous team learned about and discovered that could be useful for further advancement on Earth.

Zania’s easier to make gain weight, thanks to the whole being an alien thing. But she could possibly also be affected in other ways 🤔

What's the fattest Zania's gotten from a single experiment?

For the experiments, probably big enough that she’d start waddling. Can still stand just fine, because of the whole proportional strength of a spider thing, but walking is definitely getting difficult thanks to whichever experiment caused that much weight gain within the hour.

Which of your OCs might like to be strapped into a feeding machine for a bit?

A good number of my OCs, honestly. Adonis, Nekuma, Mel Agi, Frederick, Richie even though he wouldn’t outwardly admit it, my nameless slime gal, Ezmerelda, possibly Zania, Kaida, and Azure would all like to be strapped to a feeding machine for any amount of time.

Could you tell us something about Zania's past?

It’s not much atm, but I think I have a bit more than I did yesterday. Plus, I found a file for an intro comic that I never finished from four years ago. Barely even started thumnailing (whoops)

So, what I have so far is that Zania is a mix between two different races of alien. She volunteered to make first contact with the nearest inhabited planet, Earth, as a trained representative. Before leaving her home planet, she and the (science? Space travel?) team she was original part of threw a big party both in celebration of even finding out that there’s sentient life on Earth and as a farewell. Farewell because, well, there was no telling if anyone would be able to come back.

That’s the most I have so far. Never figured out if she and her new team crashed with her as the survivor. Or if it was a safe landing and she chose to stay, while everyone else went home. And some time after all that, she’d somehow get her own spidey powers.

does Zania's partner know she's an alien?

Kind of hard to not know when they’ve seen her without her mask. Humans don’t exactly have four eyes with pseudo pupils (think mantis), pointed ears, four arms, and a mane of hair that goes down their neck and back.

She doesn’t keep her whole being an alien thing a secret, either. She’s very comfortable walking around in public as a civilian with her eyes and extra arms visible.

Could you tell us some Zania lore?

In one of the earliest posts, Zania is at least shown being very apologetic as she drags a very much paralyzed/unconscious random goon that she poisoned. Instead of jumping and slinging forward, she travels like a jumping spider. The web is a dragline, so it instead trails behind her to avoid crashing into anything because of how quickly and suddenly she can jump from one building to another. This means the direction she’s facing when she jumps has just a bit more diversity than simply jumping forward.

As for story lore, don’t have much. I’ve tossed up a couple or so possible lore ideas outside of existing posts that I haven’t fully decided on in the past four years. The most I decided on is that she’s an alien, so her appearance wasn’t affected. I can’t decide if she was randomly bit by a spider in classic Spider-Man fashion, if it was part of an experiment that she had volunteered for, or something else.

Do any of your OCs get shy/flustered about their gaining?

Yes, actually!

The biggest examples would be Nekuma, Nikos, and Zania. Nekuma’s already naturally shy, so it doubles when she realizes she’s gaining weight. Nikos isn’t as noticeable, but he does get a bit flustered. He’s partially human and, unlike his siblings, cannot shapeshift, so it’s actually easier for him to gain weight. And Zania’s a combination. Not as strongly as Nekuma, but definitely obvious when she gets flustered/nervous.
