look, i don't think zanmu is completely oblivious to how hisami feels about her, given how incredibly straightforward hisami is, however, wouldn't it be the funniest thing if zanmu genuinely had no clue?

The Oni among Onis, both capable of incredible strength and cunning, who almost put the whole of Gensokyo under her thrall if it weren't for Reimu's vague instincts, and who acted as a real mastermind, having pawns in every faction...

Then she turns around, hears Hisami tell her "Lady Zanmu, I wish to be by your side forever, so trample over me because you are the most beautiful woman of Hell and Gensokyo and I'm hopelessly drawn to you" and thinks "haha you're pretty funny hisami"
