(My apologies for posting a paragraph and actual words instead of art for once 😔)

It’s hilarious to me that because these batjokes videos literally changed the course of my life, this isn’t an exaggeration.

I was really iffy when it came to comic books, then I read the White Knight because of these videos and my brain chemistry changed. I love comic books now. Same for my interest in roleplay games, i honestly didn’t like them and found them boring, then I played the Batman telltale games because of these videos. I love roleplaying games now.

I started falling in love with comic book art and I had a new drive to draw, and I might want to pursue a career doing comic book art if I’m able.

I know this is all very silly because of what those videos actually are but my relationship with art, books, characters, video games and media overall changed 3 years ago.

My tumblr account is my love letter to batjokes media and to the community that came from it. Especially to ZalyBrainlessGenius on YouTube and the funny videos that they posted.

I fucking love it that Pattinson was inspired by Mask of The Phantasm in playing the new Batman, it shows that he really understands the character and clearly, he did his homework. I admire his talent and will to show us this new take on Batman in live-action adaptation.

OMGGGG ZALYYYY MENTIONED!!

i had the opposite experience to this in a way, i was certain batjokes wasn't real and i was just insane for seeing it. It took me four years to realise that wasn't true and either way i shouldnt have been ashamed for shipping

(Also the comment sections and interacting in them was somehow even better than watching the videos themselves. People are just crazy in the comment section /pos)

then zaly started posting these batjokes love letters that just--- scratched that ITCHY ITCHHH that had been there for years for me. And it was just- SO SOS OSOSSOOOO INCREDIBLY CATHARTIC for me!!! If i had these videos when i was younger and just starting out with batjokes, it would have helped me and realise i shouldve embraced shipping these two and couldve had fun doing so. They were suddenly like- this all magic medicine for my inner teen self.

I really hope zaly is okay!
