how sweet it would be to wear the consort's crown─ zagreus certainly thinks so when he sees the laurels wrapped around your head. the prince of the underworld had never thought of formally taking a consort of his own, seeing how megaera and thanatos both have too much work to ever consider settling down as the prince's consort. all three of them agree, however, that you are the most suitable of zagreus' lovers to bear the mantle of his consort. you're the loveliest thing, haunting the halls of his father's palace in your resplendence, greeting your lovers with a sweet kiss and the most darling smile when they finally return from work. in his father's miserable abode, zagreus finds that its much easier to cope when you are his sanctuary. nights where all four of you are present are rare, but so much sweeter when you lovers envelop you from either side, and you fall asleep to the tired murmurs of megaera as thanatos and zagreus argue over who is taking too much of you in their embrace.

Meg hates it. It was bad enough that you know Zag is routinely kicking her ass, do you have to see it too?

Honestly, Meg likes to keep you at arm's length from her work. She doesn't want to push you away with the reality of what she does. She doesn't want you to know about some of the stuff she does during work hours.

Would much prefer if you just waited in the House and didn't bring any of this up. Actually, she'd prefer it if you didn't know at all but that ship has sailed.

Eventually you come to a compromise. You are allowed to soothe her ego after the fact and watch her spar with her sisters, but you are without a doubt NOT allowed to watch her get her ass kicked by Zagreus of all people.

💀Thanatos💀

Probably mentally compares you to his brother. Won't say it out loud but whenever you shout encouragements from the sidelines, he can't help but think of Hypnos.

Can't help but be embarrassed whenever Zagreus beats him. Death is literally his thing, how can he lose at a death contest?? Tends to get a little sore and closed-off if he loses in front of you, but just compliment him a bit and he'll forget all about his sullen mood pretty quickly.

Secretly adores it. Nobody ever wants to see death so Than preemptively enters interactions from a distant and closed-off space. Can't lose anything if you don't risk anything, right? He sometimes worries that you don't want him around, but your cheering soothes his anxieties.

Shyly admitted that he liked it once and adamantly refused to talk to you for like a week after. Man is allergic to vulnerability.

🔥Zagreus🔥

Loves it! It can feel lonely out there, just him against legions of the undead, and he appreciates your presence. Appreciates it whenever you call out warnings to him or compliment him on an impressive dodge.

Probably ends up dying a bit more than usual when you're around because he can't help but show off for you. You can tell him as many times as you want that you'd be impressed no matter what he did, but it doesn't matter. The only way Zag isn't putting on a little show for you is if he gets so into it that he forgets you're there.

There was one time in Elysium when he decided to turn around and blow you a kiss mid-battle because he thought he had a spare moment. He did not and Theseus straight up impaled him. Everyone involved refuses to let him live this down.

Makes sure that you know just how much your presence helps him. Your cheers spur him on and help him to keep going even when everything looks bleak. If you believe he can do it, then he'll give it one more try. He dedicates this next run to you! (Please don't make fun if him if he immediately dies.)

I'm TIRED of the lack of content of these three togheter, SO i'm fixing that myself!

Genre: Headcanons

Reader: neutral

Warnings: yandere behaviors, slight stalking tendencies, isolation, overprotection, some persecution, hyper-agretion, threats of violence(not towards Reader), unhealty mindset, the three of them are yandere, so the triple the trouble. Some Fluff.

• UFFF…YOU’RE FUCKED

• Okay, it’s not quite like that, but honestly, reader should prepare for a WILD ride if these three together are their Yandere. But let’s start at the beginning.

• I imagine that for these three to be interested in someone romantically, it would have to be someone that ALL THREE see on a daily basis, precisely so that a connection can be generated.

• Let’s say that reader is a shade. A mortal who lived beyond the underworld, but their life ended abruptly. Now they try to enjoy the afterlife.

• Reader’s family was probably Hades worshipers, so when they died, they received pseudo-special treatment, giving them a job to do in Hades’ house.

• Probably the first one to meet reader, for obvious reasons, is Thanatos, not only because he is the one who harvests their soul, but because, as reader, them is given multiple jobs, sometimes Than has to supervise. which, while initially a pain, is a nice break from constantly going after humans.

• We all know Than is a top-notch workaholic, so he gives Reader pretty harsh corrections when he sees them doing a poor job, or scolds them if he sees them taking breaks outside of the hour.

• Reader's other Shades for having to put up with Thanatos's grumpy attitude, it's a shame to have to deal with that even in death.

• Even Than ends up overhearing Reader talking to other Shades who say the same thing, that they should ask for another position, that Thanatos clearly terrifies them, etc.

• And honestly, Than didn't think Reader was scared of him, yes, he can be intimidating, but come on, they're already in the underworld. What could be worse than that? (the man tries to pretend he's not offended).

• What's truly surprising, though, is that Reader defends Thanatos, saying that he has a good work ethic, that while he's strict he does so with good intentions, and that while he can be a bit harsh, he's a good man-god? Whatever.

• From here on, at least, Thanatos starts to treat Reader less roughly. Which leads to them meeting a certain person.

• Zagreus!

• Zag probably met Reader in passing when they were talking to Thanatos, and when he goes to greet him, Than introduces them as a new worker at the Hades house.

• We already know that Zagreus enjoys keeping a good relationship with everyone in the house (except his father), plus he's very happy that Thanatos finally has something of a friend!

• When Thanatos eventually gets back to his routine, that's when Zagreus becomes more predominant in Reader's life, wanting to befriend this new person of interest to Than.

• Zagreus is much more talkative than Thanatos, more sociable, so it is not difficult for him to approach them, even if the reader may be somewhat unaccustomed after spending so much time with Than (who barely spoke).

• Zagreus wants to know as much about Reader as possible (as long as that's okay obviously), what things are like for mortals, their customs, their tastes, things like that.

• Zagreus tells Reader all about his outings, when he goes to see his mother, the mythological figures he's met and faced, etc. He likes to see the expressions of amazement and wonder Reader has when she listens to him narrate.

• He tells Reader when he starts to develop feelings for Meg (a girl who used to be his ex-girlfriend, but they seem to be patching things up) and Than, and in general Reader is nothing but supportive, happy for all of them.

• (they even gets to learn some stories about young Than and Zag)

• It's easier to befriend Zagreus than Than. Although now that Reader has both of them as friends, things start to get a little stifling.

• Now, every time Zagreus comes back from one of his runs, he goes straight to Reader. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, if it didn't take up all of Reader's time, to the point where sometimes they neglects their daily tasks and ends up getting scolded by Nyx.

• And yes, it's not so bad to do that a couple of times, but it's almost all the time.

• And it's worse when Thanatos joins in. Out of nowhere his work ethic goes out the window and he tells Reader that “they deserve a break” and that “Nyx will understand if they takes a day off” (HE KNOWS WELL THAT SHE DOESN'T)

• Reader has tried to talk to both of them about it, but that only results in them not talking to him for a day or two, and going back to the same thing. It's a cycle.

• This got to the point where Reader tried to hide from Zagreus when he came back from his escapades, so that they wouldn't be dragged out of work. Sometimes it worked, and other times... it didn't.

• On one occasion, Reader decided to take advantage of their break to go get something to drink at the cantina in Hades' house, they needed it.

• And when they sat down, a woman approached them to make small talk. They had seen her talk to Dusa a couple of times, so they didn't care much. They really needed to vent.

• They both talked for a while, Reader telling her about this recent “mishap” with their friends, about how they felt about it, that, although they loved--LIKE them and appreciated their friendship, They didn't want to lose this position in the house, etc.

• The woman seemed to understand the situation, but in a different way than Reader did... out of nowhere they felt in danger.

• When Reader properly introduced themself (realizing that they didn't know her name), they felt their blood run cold when the woman said simply, and with a mischievous smile.

• “Megaera, but those idiots call me Meg”

• Blood and darkness.

• Reader excused themself and tried to go back to work normally, hell, they even went to an area of the house they wasn't even allowed to clean (the files) just because he knew it was the only safe place for those three.

• And yet, thet felt like they were drilling holes into the back of their neck, watching them tremble in fear…

• Reader accidentally ended up falling asleep in the Archives. They was lucky that a Shade woke them up before Lord Hades arrived (and even luckier that Zagreus wasn’t a morning person).

• However, that was as far as their luck went. The next few weeks were based on Zagreus, Thanatos, and Meg cornering them to “spend time together,” and now that they had one of the Furies with them, Reader didn’t even dare show displeasure, too scared of what would happen if they refused.

• Now, to be honest, if it weren’t for the fact that they were practically forcing Reader into these dates, they would be genuinely enjoyable interactions. Things like seeing Zagreus fight Theseus in the Colosseum, or fighting Meg, the Matches with Thanatos, the different parts of the underworld besides Tartarus…

• Zagreus was sweet, trying to make them feel comfortable and happy (as much as he could at least), bringing them nice things he found on his escapes (some weren't even bought, they were things he found that reminded them of them) and he was the most openly affectionate. In any other circumstance, they would feel safe with him.

• Thanatos was more about actions than words, giving simple gifts that said a lot, stepping in when Zag and Meg were going overboard, being the most aware and considerate of all. Even if it was a little scary knowing he was involved in all this.

• Meg was hard to read at first, she seemed so rough and strong that reader was initially convinced that she had probably only joined this mess for Zag and Than, hoping to find, perhaps, an ally in her.

• What they didn't take into account was that Meg had her own kind of fascination for them, a more passionate, more primitive, more violent one. It was like a predator's interest in its prey, always looking at it with curious and intense eyes.

• This goes on for several days, with a strange forced relationship with the three, with reader praying that they'll get tired of them soon so that they can go on with the rest of his afterlife in peace.

• They had taken the job so they wouldn't go crazy with nothing to do in the afterlife, but this is the closest thing to it.

• Still, reader tried to carry on as best they could, until Nyx asked them one day, out of the blue, to clean Zagreus' room.

• Oh no.

• They knew, they knew that if they entered that room they would devour them alive, they would force them to choose that life.

• Reader tried to negotiate with Nyx in vain, telling them that either they did what she told them, or they could leave Hades' house.

• And Reader only did what their body had been begging them for months.

• they ran straight to the exit of the house, even bumping into some Shades on their way, it doesn't matter, they had to get out of there.

• They didn't even notice that Nyx was shouting something when they went through the door.

• Not to them, but to Zagreus, Thanatos and Megaera.

• The chase was short, after all, Zagreus knew the whole underworld like the back of his hand, it didn't take him two minutes to have Reader over his shoulder, and later. In his room.

• It was something simple, they would accept the three of them, they wouldn't have to work again, they wouldn't lose his position in the house of Hades, they would have every need met, but most importantly, they would only have eyes for them.

• Or else…

• If we go to the “relationship” itself, it's fucking chaotic.

• Dealing with the three of them separately is already a mess, but together? Good luck having time alone now.

• Zag, Than and Meg sleep with Reader in the middle (Than and Meg on the sides, Zag hugging them), it's lovingly suffocating, and there's no way to get out without one of them noticing and following Reader like a hawk (they sometimes think they're stealthy and don't realize they're being followed. How cute).

• As compensation for losing their jobs, the three of them try to give Reader hobbies and activities to do in his free time, Than usually brings books, Meg takes them out for walks with Dusa and they talk about the latest gossip, Zag remodels their bedrooms a bit so they have space to do things like painting, writing, whatever they want!

• There are days when Reader can leave the bedrooms, there are other days when they can’t, and they has to stay there until one of their “lovers” comes (meanwhile, sometimes Skelly chats them up and tries to cheer them up – this is better than being in Tartarus! right?)

• Among them they also want to improve the relationship that Reader has with each one, as I said, Zagreus likes to tell about the times when Thanatos has helped him get out of the underworld, his misadventures when they were young, etc. She also likes to brag about Meg, how despite everything that happened with her sisters she is still a woman of unbreakable character, how strong she is, etc.

• Meg is brutally honest, she tells the reader that Zagreus can sometimes seem a bit arrogant, but that he definitely loves them with all his heart, and that he only has to ask him and he will do everything to make them happy. Than is a grumpy god, yes, but he is loyal, loyal to his family, loyal to his principles, and now loyal to them, and that you should not doubt that he will do everything possible to keep them safe.

• Than, as we know, is more about actions than words, but he tries to improve that to benefit his partners. He tells the reader how the relationship between the three began, how things were with Zagreus before they arrived, and how they improved afterwards. Let them improve their lives as you improved ours, he says.

• It's a conflicting situation for the reader, on the one hand, they doesn't hate any of them, in fact, in many ways, they likes them, but at the same time they's so terrified of the consequences of upsetting two gods and an Eriny, that sometimes that affection is overshadowed by paranoia.

• Than, Zag and Meg know they make a strong impression, they know they shouldn't have done what they did, but worry (and jealousy) was eating them alive, it's better this way, so they can take better care of them.

• At least they try to appease their new lover's paranoia, going on more everyday and simple dates, giving them reassuring talks, assuring them that they not only see them as an equal, but that they won't do anything to them if they wants to give constructive criticism to improve their relationship (and therefore, make them happier in the their new life!), etc.

• They are overprotective, but they are aware of what they do.

• Because of this, they are also good at showing their friendlier side to the reader, and leaving their bloodthirsty side for all the people who kept them away from them for so long. Maybe breaking a couple of legs, a few cuts with the whip or the sword, letting them die by bleeding or by the scythe, whichever comes first.

• At least they have the decency to keep that side hidden from their lover's sight, they can't let them see that now, not when they is finally accepting them back.

• A charming, terrifying and intoxicating Polyamory.

Happy Birthday!

To celebrate my birthday, here's a drabble of assorted Hades characters and how they'd be on your birthday! You are in a relationship with Zagreus in this one :)

Characters: Nyx, Orpheus, Eurydice, Zagreus, Thanatos, Hypnos, Dusa, Megaera, Achilles, Patroclus, Cerberus, Asterius, Sisyphus, Bouldy

Warnings: None! Good wholesome times all around ♡

You wake up to Zagreus kissing your face!!!!

I believe in Zagreus caring deeply for physical touch and quality time your honour. Once you warm him up to it, it's his heaven in Hell. He adores it.

He's very warm, but it's never really been a problem, given the consistently nice temperature of the House

"Good morning, [Y/N]. Happy birthday~" He cooes gently, his voice is smoother than the finest ambrosia and you revel in it, snuggling into his chest.

"What would you like to do today, my dear?"

"Mmh....Is sleep an option...?" Zagreus chuckles at your drowsy response, his chest rumbles pleasantly and you find a contagious smile growing on your face.

"Birthdays only happen once a year, darling...Come on. Eurydice made you some cake."

"She did?"

"Yes! When I told her it was your birthday this week, she jumped to the opportunity."

"Then I suppose I must get up?"

Zagreus kisses your head lightly, and you melt from the tender care

"I suppose you must, yes."

You wake up and get into some nicer robes, and walk out with Zagreus to see Nyx regard you.

"Happy birthday, child. As a token of this occasion, I managed to convince Hades to give everyone a moment off, to greet you." Nyx's voice almost sends you to sleep again, but you're much more awake now, and you feel too sheepishly happy to rest.

"Lady Nyx, you really didn't need to...!" Your voice is as incredulous as you feel. "But...Thank you."

"Of course. I believe Hypnos wanted a word, so perhaps you should see to him first."

You and Zagreus walk over to Hypnos, who is currently not sleeping, which shocks you both, though he looks about ready to knock out for the next week at the minimum.

"[Y/N]!! Happy birthday! Dusa and I made you a little something, here here!" He exclaims, all tiredness wiped from his aura entirely as he hands you a small box.

Gingerly, you take off the lid, and inside you are happy to find a new laurel, woven carefully with your favourite colours and plants. You find yourself beaming at the beautiful heartfelt gift, before giving Hypnos a tight squeeze.

"Thank you so much, Hypnos. The detail is incredible!" You say as you part, and Hypnos giggles with a mischevious grin. "It was mostly Dusa, to be perfectly honest, but I helped weave it, so getting the first hug of appreciation for it feels fair."

You laugh, before Sir Achilles approaches with a calm smile of his own, before placing a hand on your arm.

"Unfortunately, I don't have any gifts for you myself, but I do wish you a happy birthday nonetheless. Do spend today well, yes?"

"Thank you, sir. I'll do my best." You smile, remarking mentally that your cheeks are starting to hurt, but also that you don't find yourself minding.

Next stop is to Meg and Dusa, who are waiting in the lounge with Thanatos. When they see you approach, Dusa is the first to float to you. The snakes that make up her hair affectionately grasp onto your arm as you hold Dusa affectionately. "Happy birthday!" She skitters, almost purring in a strange, Dusa-like way.

Meg is next, though she holds her distance as per usual. She's smiling, and her whip is stowed. "I've gotta hand it to you, [Y/N], I don't usually tend to care for birthdays, never mind my own...but you got me a morning in the lounge. So...thanks for that."

It was a strange way to go about saying happy birthday, but for you, it was more than enough. You nodded. "I can't believe Nyx pulled it off. Surely there are some wretched shades out there being overworked now, no?"

Megaera simply shrugs, but the creeping grin on her face tells you she hopes it's the case.

Thanatos clears his throat, and you realise he's held something out to you. It was a bottle of nectar. You gasp, taking the weighted spherical bottle in awe.

Zagreus squints at it, still by your side, before suddenly looking at Thanatos. "I gave you this bottle of nectar yesterday!" He says, indignant. Thanatos smiles - a rarity on its' own - and simply dismisses the Prince.

"Regardless of where you got it from...Thank you, Than, this...this means a lot." You say, your voice still awestruck by the honey gold liquid you're holding.

Zagreus of course brings you plenty, but even so, its' beauty never ceased to amaze.

You visit Sisyphus, who gives you Pebble (one of Bouldy's brothers, who has a delicately punched smiley face on one side), then you visit Orpheus and Eurydice, who gives you a kiss on the cheek and some cake, then you meet with Patroclus, who takes your hand very hesitantly and prays for you, for your good luck this year. He says he'll see you at the house, and on your way back, you find Asterius.

Zagreus prepares for a fight, but Asterius is unarmed, and he quickly realises.

"Asterius? What are you doing here, without your axe?" He asks. Asterius chuffs.

"Your father gave us a small break this morning, small one. You said something about celebrating someone's birthday last we clashed blades, and so, naturally, I assumed it would be your lover's. Was I correct?"

Zagreus stows his blade and you nod a little. "That's right, Asterius sir." You clarify. "It's good to know he gave even you and Theseus a break, too."

Asterius snorts, though it's not one of amusement or malice, simply a noise. He rifles through a pouch he has, before handing you a weighty box. Inside is a handaxe, crafted by the minotaur.

"You have no weaponry when you wander out here, I've come to notice. This is for when we meet in the stadium. For if you need more than simply the blessings of the Olympians." The bass voice of the bull rumbles, and you hold the axe firmly with a grin. Zagreus chuckles next to you.

"I appreciate this, Asterius. Thank you. Send our regards to King Theseus?"

Asterius laughs.

"I don't think he'd take it well, but I wish you a good day despite."

Asterius leaves, and you and Zagreus are amusedly quick to do the same.

Eventually, after a day of exploration, you cuddle up to Cerberus and thank Nyx on your way through, before laying down with your Zagreus.

"Today was fantastic, dearest." You say. Zagreus holds you close, playing with your hair. "I'm glad. But there's still one present you've yet to receive, my dear~"

It's 1AM right now. Use your imagination.

“You wouldn't happen to be the one gifting me all these flowers, would you?” Zagreus asked. 

You cleared your throat as you scrambled for an excuse, a reason, an explanation to give the godling–it didn't feel right to outwardly admit to it (Gods, that'd be embarrassing), and you couldn't find it in you to turn the prince away; if you did that, what would be the point of your bashful little gifts? You wanted to show support, you wanted to try and embolden him when few else would. 

But still–

You tucked some hair behind your pointed ear and cleared your throat once more, never ripping your gaze away from the flowerbeds to look at your opponent. Nope. You wouldn't do it. You couldn't or you'd die on the spot (again). 

“I beg pardon?” You asked, willing your earth magicks to replace that which had withered in the garden. 

You swore you heard him smile. “Those flowers, the ones in my chambers? The ones that renew every night, or–or day, or what have you.” His cindered footsteps ventured closer to you. “Surely you must have some idea.”

“I'm afraid I don't, Prince,” you hummed, stepping away as he followed. “But I can keep an eye open, if you so wish.” 

“Oh, come on. Do you really think you'll be punished for giving me a flower or two?” Zagreus asked.

“Everything can be punished in this house. Anything in regards to the runaway prince, even more so.” And that was true. You'd heard of Megaera and Thanatos being promptly admonished for their inability to stop Zagreus, or their blatant refusal to even try to stop him. Most didn't give Zagreus the time of day. What would you, a mere shade, say in your defense if the lord of the underworld found out about the simple fondness you felt for the prince?

Before you could linger on that dread for too long, a hand caught your wrist, stopping your further retreat. It wasn't painful, nor did it frighten you–but it was odd. So, so odd. You'd not felt the warmth of another for decades. It reminded you of a warm summer's day.

“Look, I–I just want to thank you,” Zagreus said, sounding far too flustered and honest. You couldn't help but turn to him and meet his mismatched gaze, finally.

“Thank me?” You said, dumbstruck. A little because of the brilliant emerald and ruby eyes staring down at you, a little because of his words.

The prince nodded. He didn't release your wrist. “Is that so unbelievable?” He asked with a smile. 

“Not when it comes to you, no.” Your face heated, but you kept your composure calm and collected. “Well. You're, uh, free to speak. If you wish.”

“Thank you,” he said, not hesitating the slightest bit, “For taking the time to…well, think of me, I suppose. These days, it feels like everyone's against me, so the flowers, they--they're a welcome sight.” 

His smile melted your faux frigid expression, and you let the slightest hint of gentility peek through. “I worried they'd be a nuisance.”

“A nuisance?” Zagreus balked. “No, no, anything but. It's what keeps me going most days, if I'm being honest.” 

You raised your brows, despite a smile not following. “Well, that's depressing. To think few others are cheering you on brings a tear to the eye.”

The prince snorted. “Huh. Never knew gardeners could be the sarcastic type.” 

“Seems you haven't met enough gardeners, then.” You clasped your hand over the one holding your wrist. “Truthfully, I don't understand the extent of your quest, but I've no doubt you'll succeed. I wish you to know that I've full faith in you.”

Zagreus’ energy surged tenfold. His smile nearly blinded you, he who had become so used to the dark, and his eyes gleamed like polished gems. Cerberus probably bore the same look when he was a pup, you figured. Did he play tug with the prince back in the day? Probably. Or fetch, perhaps.

“Really?” The prince asked, now holding both of your hands in his and squeezing. “You think so?” 

You swallowed away your shock at being touched again and stared hard at the spot between the prince's eyes. “Well, yes--you're like rhubarb.”

He leaned toward you, leaning down and welcoming himself into your personal bubble. “I've not the slightest idea what you mean, but I'm eager to know.”

You almost smiled. Almost. But you wouldn't let him win, not that easily. 

“Once you accomplish your goal, perhaps I'll tell you.”

I was making some drawings with the story of the Trojan War in the background, when I just got to the part of the sacrifice of Iphigenia (Agamemnon's daughter) so that the ships would march towards Troy.

and it gave me a little idea for this little drabble.

Imagine that the reader is a lover of one of the 3 main members of the house of Hades (Zagreus, Thanatos, Megaera) and one day their family tells them to go to a specific place for a matter of EXTREME importance.

Without knowing it, the reader goes to where they plan to sacrifice them to the gods (you decide the reason).

What the family does not take into account when this happens is that using the Aid of the gods, reader calls their lover to help them (could it be possible? I would be upset if it were).

Can you imagine the reactions of each person when they see that mortals want to sacrifice their partner?

Thanatos is definitely against this sacrifice being made with his partner obviously, and he protects them, but he is the most aware of the situation, that if there is a sacrifice, some god asked for it, and he knows that something that would be worse (especially for his partner) than dealing with mortals, would be dealing with a GOD/GODDESS.

Therefore, Thanatos would try to use diplomacy as much as possible, although he would use force if necessary to defend his partner (if they needs it) and would try to fix the situation without bothering any higher entity.

He is the clumsiest when it comes to comforting his partner, but he doesn't want them to feel bad in the long run, so even after the situation is under control, he takes them somewhere nice to make them feel better.

Zagreus is definitely LIVID with anger when he finds out what is happening, I think he would try at first to say that it makes no sense for them to ask for a sacrifice because the gods usually DON'T LIKE THEM (like what happened with Pelops) but as soon as he sees that that It doesn't work, he goes directly to violence.

Do they want a sacrifice to the gods? Well, let them be it themselves. Besides he gets to show off a little with His partner lol.

although he definitely tries to comfort them emotionally after that kind of betrayal while he can be on the surface (or even offer them some time in the house of Hades, if they want). Good and unusual Badass/angry Zagreus.

Megaera....OF...she jumps right into violence. They don't even have to tell her what's happening, she sees her partner in trouble and distressed and she sees RED. brings out her most violent side.

When it's all over she goes to check on her partner and asks what happened and it only makes her even angrier. Of course it was deadly stupid. But he's glad they're okay. she's not as emotionally good as Zagreus, but at least she comforts her partner because she knows what it's like to feel so disconnected from your "family."

She is definitely going to take the time in Tartarus to torment her partner's family or at least she leaves it to her sisters :)

BONUS:

POLY THAN/ZAG/MEG is a weird mix of all of the above. probably having Thanatos trying to make things "right" Megaera and Zagreus try not to go straight to violence. THEY WOULD TRY.

although as soon as they see that there is not going to be a real negotiation, that they ignore them or, gods forbid, they try to kill their partner EVEN WITH THEM IN FRONT OF THEM Zagreus and Megaera will no longer hold back and will go for BLOOD.

Thanatos, seeing that diplomacy failed, would only dedicate himself to checking on his partner to see if they were hurt or if they are feeling well in general. The man wants ANSWERS of how this happened.

When it's all over, probably the three of them (especially Zagreus and Meg) would be much more vigilant with their partner, it was just a big scare. Besides, lots of hugs and cuddles. I don't make the rules.
