Someone killed my boss last night and he sent me this I'm so fired

god I can't wait to make this comic.

#not me making a prelaunch link so I can share it on art of them that I do and then immediately being like hm #feels kind of weird to link a comic that doesnt exist yet #HAHAHAHAH #theres just no pleasing me #oh well I'll stick to my guns. I thought about it a long time #and doing things that feel weird is kind of the name of the game when it comes to making art #we were legion #zagan #this is so funny to me #its like not even that funny but #I love him. idk I think because I know what the comic is gonna be like stuff like this is 1 million times funnier to me #he sucks so bad and it would suck to read if he were the only one in the comic but because luciel is also there #then its just funny. cause juxtaposition #I love luciel too but theyre less good for standalone drawings and memes without comic context #so my brains like erm... theres nothing there....#also my tags are bugging out when I type them on the ocmputer idk how to explain whats happening but its kind of annoying #jumping around all over the place. makes it hard to read while I'm typing them. its fine #if theres typos its cause somethings going weird with my computer #lately when I've opened firefox its just shaking all over the place #til I alt tab out of it and back to it. I have straight up no idea why #and my internet has been bugging out. the LAN connection keeps flickering and then going out...??#YES I switched the ethernet cable connecting the modem and the router NO I dont know whats going on #I dont wanna deaaaaaal wiiiithhh customer serviceeee its fine. I'll do it later if switching the coax cable doesnt help #uh. anyways none of that matters cause I can still make my fuckin comics babeyyy #as long as I've got my comics. I'm caught now, what's the comic about? I'm guessing demons from your tags but I want to know more (without spoiling anything)

I'm so glad you asked.

I wanna say so much but I don't want to spoil anything... I'll do my best.

It's about demons, yes... But also mermaids, curses, murder, and love... The sweetest mermaid in the world gets magically stuck with an asshole demon warlord.

Thrust into a world of crime, murder, lies, and secrets, Luciel is completely out of their depth... And cursed to live in the ocean for the rest of his life, Zagan is a fish out of water.

Zagan is trying to solve the mystery of his own murder, while also navigating trying to cure his new curse AND gathering souls so he doesn't get sent back to hell. While Luciel is happy to tag along, Zagan is new to cooperation and is forced to adapt... And Luciel soon discovers there might have been a BIT more danger than they signed up for.

It follows the two of them as they solve a mystery, uncover new secrets, and navigate the dangers of the world while also discovering its many wonders!

And also maybe falling in love...

This is sort of the vibe... I haven't finished any episodes yet. These aren't canon scenes. I keep drawing just a couple panels or small strips of scenes that MIGHT happen cause I'm so excited it's not even funny I want to make it so bad

I can't stop drawing them it's a problem. I have work I have to do...

Hello, I think i'm kind late to ask this but a saw your art about Zagan and Luciel and would like to know if you already have planning the story? like what would be the main themes be and how the dynamic of the characters would work

How could you be late to ask me something about my comics? It's never too late!

I've pretty much got the whole story planned, yes. I actually intended to start this story back before my first comic, Millennium, but some character design drama got in the way of things so I postponed it... And then I started making Time and Time Again for work, right when I was planning to start it, so it got pushed back again!

So We Were Legion has been on the backburner for me for about 7 years now, and I am just ITCHING to get it started. so I'm MORE than happy to talk about it!

Obviously I wont tell you the entire plot, as that's pretty big spoilers and also subject to change, but the characters are pretty set at this point and I love them dearly

Luciel (he/she/they) is a lucky, upbeat mermaid. They easily make friends, but are a bit of a homebody and really just enjoy living in the middle of nowhere at the bottom of the sea, and definitely are NOT looking for an adventure.

Zagan (he/him) is an asshole. He's a demon and really good at what he does, and a bunch of people want him dead. Which is, honestly, the plot.

The two become supernaturally tied together, and have to hold hands when on the surface, or Zagan will die. This hit to his cool guy aura (being attached to the cutest, sweetest mermaid to ever exist) is really bumming Zagan out and making his work (stealing souls) extremely difficult. One of them is way better at accepting this situation than the other.

Between a lot of drama, intrigue, and mystery, the two grow closer together as Zagan learns to unravel his toxic masculinity and accepts a more gentle way of living, while Luciel learns to confront situations, rather than evade or put up with them.

Aaaand obviously they fall in love and the power of love saves the day and fixes everything. because I'm the one writing it and this is how I am as a person.

I wanna make it so so so bad... I'm going to make it next I have to...
