Last but not least, we have Hiei! And I must confess, I had the most fun with his playlist, cause its a lot of music I really enjoy anyhow. It just pumps me up and makes me feel badass. Our angry little gremlin demon got lots of deathcore metal, phonk house, industrial, and a few Nu Metal classics. Its raw, it's loud, its brutal, its a bit of a sonic punch right in the mouth.

Fair warning, some of the lyrical content could potentially be triggering, it's not happy wholesome music

We’re launching an event to celebrate our favorite characters. One week of every month will be a time to create all kinds of fan content dedicated to them.

Fanarts, Fanfics, Moodboards, Playlists, Cosplays, TikToks, Essays—any form of creative contribution will be welcomed and appreciated!

My first impression i got into hxh after rewathcing yyh after ages so he was blonde kurama with rage problems to me!!!

My impression now ...a nonwhite he/they karen turned joker...but it works...10/10

I. favourite colours: Pink, in most varieties. I like bright colors most often, esp paired with black. But I think pink is one of the colors were I'm not picky on shade or w/e so I'd say it's a contender for favorite.

II. favourite flavours: I'm a sucker for most anything sweet but I love chocolate & peanut butter together.

III. favourite genres: Fantasy or sci fi. Most of the books or series I get into fall into either category. I like media that imagines other worlds or even other variants of our world like modern fantasy or speculative fiction.

IV. favourite music: I have a lot of variety in my music playlists, like anything from broadway to metal. Most of the artists I listen to are somewhere in the rock genre, lots of indie, alternative or hard rock/metal. But I also like some pop, I've been listening to a lot of indie/alt pop recently.

V. favourite movies: Admittedly, I don't watch a lot of movies. But favorites or ones I've seen several times would probs be Repo! The Genetic Opera, Captain America 2, or Spirited Away.

VI. favourite series: TV series? Criminal Minds. Anime series, probs D Gray Man, Cowboy Bebop, or Yu Yu Hakusho.

VIII. last series: I've been slowly making my way through One Piece and I'm on episode 100 or smth lmao

IX. last movie: Been watching a lot of kids movies lately bc cartoons are my comfort but I also recently watched YYH Poltergeist Report

You know how some people have seasonal depression? I have seasonal hamster wheel brain. It turns into winter and I start running in place chewing at the walls, yet unwilling to move away from the fireplace. So thank you for the questions!!!! I float between fandoms rapidly, and I don't leave them as much as have a fun rotating door. Obviously, everyone is on some level an Undertale fan/Deltarune awaiter but i'm not really in the fandom except for me and skull's skeleton OC nonsense. Stuff like Batman or TWEWY are background noise to my life that I'm always "in" the fandom with strong opinions about stuff and simply cannot maintain a constant presence when other people are wrong/"wrong" about it. YYH is in this category. Sometimes dormant but ever-present. Otherwise, I'm currently into One Piece and trying to maintain that since it's near the final arcs (so I will have to maintain this for.. another decade.) and so the fifth one is probably like [checks what playlists i've made lately] ....danganronpa. For favorite Zelda game: I keep replaying BotW but Wind Waker and the opening to Link To The Past are very good as for my icon... Oh my god... it's Guillermo "Lover Of Monsters" Del Toro, but with homestuck troll horns sdhssdfdf i made it so i wouldn't need to waste time scaring people off

I've also been a sessrin shipper since the jump cause I never saw them as familial in any way, more lord and vassal like him and Jaken. But also if you go through my fic reblog tags it's not like I'd give a care nowadays anyway if that was the coding--fiction is fiction for this here grown adult. 💁🏽‍♀️

I do stand by them being the best example of consistent mutual respect in that series though--and also that the whole thing with the new series shoulda been handled way different and taken hella different artistic choices in character design. 😒

at what age did you start RPing?

OH I REMEMBER THIS EXACTLY. i was ten years old, and actively lying about my age to chat about shaman king on the neoboards. one of the friends i made was a roleplayer and taught me the ropes & somehow i am still friends with this friend.

12. what do you think about AUs?

They're my favorite thing. I like thinking about what goes into making a character who they are & how drastically they change if even just one thing never happened to them. The more worldbuilding I get to do, the happier I am.

16. what’s the best way to approach you to start playing together?

Turn an ask into a thread! I don't require people ask to do this, I'm just too lazy to reply to them in any way that isn't in my inbox.

Or just crawl in my DMs with an idea. I'm just now starting to bounce back from getting sick over the holidays so I've been slacking but this is a really good way to jump in.

17. what was your first muse?

I think it was Hiei from YYH or Lyserg Diethel from Shaman King.

32. do you regularly do dash commentaries?

Yes and I love an RPC that embraces them. It makes it feel like an actual community that anybody can jump into.

38. what’s the best inspiration for your muse?

I'm ngl it felt like Epic The Musical was tailormade for my Pirith playlist. Give me a story about a well-meaning man who is yanked away from everything he'd ever known and is forced to slowly cut away his kindness, his compassion, and everything that gave his life meaning outside of his new purpose and I'm sold. When I need to crack into my drafts, Ruthlessness is the first track that plays to get the vibe right bc it feels like an argument between an idealist and a brutal pragmatist demanding they accept the world as it is, not how they want it to be.

That and the political manipulation & 5D chess moves of ASOIAF.

Hey hey, here comes Yu Yu Hakusho playlist #3

Now we've got Kurama! And I admit, this one was a bit challenging. I ended up going with song titles and the overall feel of the tracks rather than trying to find lyrical content that fit. A lot of these songs are mostly instrumental, or their lyrics have some complexity and mystery to them, which I thought was fitting for someone so enigmatic like Kurama. I also wanted to capture the ethereal vibes of his original image songs. This one ended up being a bit broody and melancholy, lots of indie and progressive rock, coldwave/darkwave, and some emo like AFI and MCR

So Here is a Hiei Playlist. I might add more to it in the future, but  25 songs felt like a solid start.

Someone in the tags of my Kuwabara playlist commented that they’d like to see me make a Hiei or Kurama playlist, so I did some thinking. The songs were chosen because of vibe, or because the lyrics felt right.

1. favorite colors: raspberry pink & teal!! yes like reas psd lmao

2. favorite flavors: uhhhhhhhh. unsure!! standouts for individual flavors would be deep fried batter, butter, garlic, and sweets!!!

3. favorite genres: horror (esp movies), romance, fantasy, and action/adventure

4. favorite music: I love jrock (growing up on Naruto shaped me LMAO), Patent Pending, vocaloid (I love the 'crunch' of the synthesized music and voicebanks, so often I prefer them over their covers)... idk main ones would prolly be rock, pop, and (more picky with it) metal. Nothing screamo.

5. favorite movies: uhhhhhhhhh idk tbh I mostly watch horror and am not good at remembering movie names since they're one offs. But ones that stick out would be Rise of the Guardians, Mama, Your Name. RotG is a solid fave but others are just ones that impressed on me enough to remember their names at all

6. favorite series: Zelda!! Everything else I enjoy are either one-offs are not indicators of my interest in the entire series they're a part of (Persona Emblem vs Persona, Kirby Lost World, etc). Some of them I'd like to try the rest/more (Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, etc) and haven't got around to it but others I'm not interested in (Persona). edits in atla/lok bc i forgot abt it entirely oops-- edits in x2: nasuverse at large and esp fate/ rip-

7. last song: I usually just have a select few character playlists on shuffle for work or the like but first new song would be Wish by Gia Navas (Romani FGO fansong :') ) and Ghost's cover of Stay from the last Insidious movie

8. last series: Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy overall (much fun !! :') v much want more in that world and more lore on the Fates especially--) and just now finishing up Carol & the End of the World!! :') Very fun in its own way and cute but also augh

9. last movie: ignoring misc reruns on TV I don't remember it'd be streaming the Insidious series with friends— but before that either Puss & the Last Wish or Nemona idr which! (Nemona as a character is peak sacore btw :')))

10. currently reading: Finally working through Scum Villain Saving System first hand (the official localization), on top of misc Scarlett Claire (?) books to help sleep. Thank You Libby App &lt;3

11. currently watching: Finishing up Carol & the End of the World!! After that I'll be trying the YYH live action adaption LOL uwu
