I saw in the tags of a post you reblogged that you don't now who anton is (red guy, big beard,)

Basically Anton is a character from a similar wario-like platformer, and many fans compared AntonBlast and Pizza Tower. This lead to the developers to make some jokes here and there, until they made a post saying that Anton and Peppino are in a relationship.

of course this wasn't all that serious but it is what lead to the ship of Anton and Peppino and why he is in a lot of PT art.

i was COMPLETELY serious so thank u for clarifying 😭😭😭 I just saw the red man everywhere and was like well i guess everyone is having a good time :) i just assumed it was an au or something that fanon latched onto so i blacklisted it alongside the au and oc tags 😭😭😭 thats sounds interesting tho that TWO wariolikes sprouted up at the same time; ill go look it up!

"The Desert Beast" is his freedom, its kept him alive and wanted and needed, kept him protected. yet that persona is still a prison, it still haunts him, the pain and scars of all the people he trusted with his heart who left a few weeks or months later. because his life wasnt what they expected. he wasnt what they expected. he wasnt what they wanted.

Blood is still seeping between his fingers, hand clutching desperately to the wound in his chest. He needs to get to Johanne. And then get the hell off this ship. Find Nyx. Find the Princess. Finish the mission.

In the distance there's an explosion and the entire ship keels. Luche stumbles and decides it's time to run. He breaks into a sprint down the walkway before he hears a voice yelling for him. Johanne. His eyes meet hers and for a moment there's some kind of relief between them.

She's not in on it. She's not in on it. She's not in on it.

And just like that it's all immediately shattered. "Look out!"

A glaive digs the knife straight through her and Luche feels the pain within his chest reciprocate. "No!"

He uses the last of his magic to teleport to her side, sending the other glaive tottering off the side of the walkway with a shoulder check. Johanne's last breath is already passing through her lips before he can talk to her and he all but collapses at her side. "No…hey…hey hey hey…stay with me."

But he knows she's gone. And a part of him knows he's not going to make it himself. He's lost too much blood. Luche takes a deep breath. "We're going out together," he whispers against her hair, clutching her body close to him. He blinks away tears as he tosses his kukri at the nearby control panel - another explosion rippling through the air and taking the two of them with it.

More random tropes that I fucking love: Becoming the mask you wore.

Like oh shit, this character who was sent to spy somewhere under a false identity suddenly realises they've started to genuinely become the person they claimed to be? Someone who's been telling the same lies about who they are for so long that they're actually forgetting that the story isn't true? Finding themselves genuinely doing the things they pretend to do in front of people, when they're alone and nobody's watching? Answering to a name that wasn't supposed to be theirs without thinking?

Ooohh-hoh-hoh, you lost track of yourself in pretending to be someone else? You were only supposed to impersonate somebody, a plausible background and a name you came up with on the spot, and now that the people you were supposed to infiltrate have become your true companions? You lost yourself in the game you played, and no you no longer know who you truly are, and where your true loyalties lie? And both sides would mark you a traitor if you came out with the truth. On a scale of one to ten, how bad did you fuck up.

Fuck that is a good trope. Never seen it done badly. Pour that shit on a table and I'll chop it into lines and snort it.
