For heaven’s sake. Anyone and everyone seems to be carelessly leaving their things behind lately. They’re travelling abroad after all; I’d really wish they’d be more careful!

Madara: I agree. The language and culture are different here, so one shouldn’t assume that things will be the same as back home in Japan. It’s better to be more careful in the end.

The Japanese name for Kanata’s plush is “Shirowani”. Wani (鰐) means “dragon”, or “sea monster”. As sharks were literally a dragon-like sea monster, they were often called that. Same goes for crocodiles as well; the Japanese word for them is still wani (ワニ).

Arashi’s cat’s name is “Nyanko”, a portmanteau of “nyan” (meow) and “ko” (child). It’s basically the language equivalent of “kitty”, sort of like how Rei calls Koga “wanko”, or “puppy”.

The original text doesn’t reference the plushy’s tummy, and instead works off of the “shiro” from “Shirowani”, the japanese name. I decided to not localize the plushie’s name, since I think names are important.

You're the one who's exceedingly early. It’s not as if you’re a Producer, for whom the ironclad rule is to be at the meeting place thirty minutes ahead of time.

Madara: Let me seee... ... Then I’ll have whatever you’re having, Kunugi-sensei.

It must be hard wearing two hats, working both with the P-Association and as a teacher?

To put it simply, I need work. Do you have any projects that you could send my way?

Akiomi: Send your way... I’m asking this just to be clear, are you referring to work as an idol?

Madara: Yes. I do get some work as part of Double Face, but I’ve always been a solo artist, and I’ve been working as a helper. 

It’s more carefree being on my own; I prefer it that way. 

Akiomi: I see, I get the gist of it. However, why are you directing this request to me? 

If you approach Anzu-san about this matter, she will take action enthusiastically.

Madara: That’s trueee... ... Since it’s Anzu-san, she’ll definitely go aaall out to find something.

Yesterday, Shisho~, Senpai and Sora were filming on location at a fair held at a Michi no Eki (1) ~. There was a B-class gourmet competition going on, and it was as boisterous as a festival!  

The winner of the competition was a dish called an ‘Okonomiyaki-curry rice bowl’. Shisho~ and the others said it was delicious too~

Madara: Okonomiyaki-curry? What an unexpected combination, I wonder what it tastes liiike.

Mika: A Michi no Eki, eh? That sounds really nice. I’m kinda envious that you get to go to such fun places an’ all.

Oshi-san doesn’t come back all that often, an’ when he’s back, our location shootings’re always held at an art museum or some equally strict venue.

Madara: Haha. It’s difficult to match such informal venues with Valkyrie, because there’s the unit’s image to consider after aaall.

(I think Mika-san will come with me if I invite him personally.  These fairs don’t run all the time.

If they organise events overseas as well, it’ll be even more difficult to match the timing for sureee. )

This treadmill is pretty interesting! Watching the images shown on the screen, it feels as though I’m running along a forest path!

If I crank it up to its fastest setting, it feels as if I’m running away from some wild animal with all my might! And when dialled down to its slowest setting, it feels as if I’m taking a leisurelyyy stroll. ♪

You can even change the angle of incline, or programme a course with automatic changes in speed! It has the handy functions of calculating the heart rate and the number of calories burnt too.

Hmmm, I wonder if it’s worthwhile to get one of these for my private use? If I were to set it up in the dorm, everyone would be able to use it whenever they wished to, right?

However, everyone would probably stop using it once the novelty wears off. I can just hear Mitsuru-san saying, “It’s way more fun to go dashing in the park, you knowww~ ☆” or something like that. 

Besides, it might be that since I can use it at anytime, that I end up not using it at all. It would end up being an unnecessary expense. One should plan well on how to use something before buying it!... ... ☆

What kind of training should I do now, I wonder? A full body workout seems like a good choice, or a split workout focusing on one muscle group sounds good too ♪

Probably referencing the Hadaka Matsuri (or the Naked Festival). It originated over 500 years ago, where the men celebrate it on a winter’s day (usually in Jan/Feb, although sometimes, it can be held in summer too) dressed in a fundoshi (traditional loincloth) and white socks. The festival is pretty popular; over 10 000 men participate in it every event. A mikoshi is a portable shrine, it’s really heavy and requires teamwork to carry it.
