-It’s honestly very easy to tell when he’s jealous
-And it’s really easy to trigger.
-Literally just look at a guy for too long and he’s scowling.
-He’s always passive-aggressive with other men but this triples when he thinks they’re a threat to his relationship.
-If you’re already dating, he’ll make sure to make that VERY clear to the guy.
-”READER HAS A BOYFRIEND, BACK OFF!!” (himself)
-He’s a bit shy with pda (mentally freaks out and his face goes red) but he’ll touch you a lot more when he’s jealous.
-Probably not actual kisses because that’s too embarrassing and also he’d rather do that stuff in private.
-He doesn’t make an effort to show the guy he’s not watching. He wants him to know.
-If you aren’t dating he’s mostly the same, but less touching.
-He clings around you but tries not to make it obvious. But it is obvious. Why does he have 5 million things to do in each of the rooms you go into??
-If he truly is busy, he’ll be on the opposite side of the room working but he won’t stop glaring the guy down.
-dude can literally feel his eyes at the back of his head and the murderous intent.
-I hope he isn’t so stupid as to ask you out, or touch you, because Yushiro WILL beat him up 💀
-If he isn’t important he’s getting thrown out of the house rather quickly.
-But if he is, Yushiro’s snarky remarks won’t stop until he’s gone.
-He truly doesn’t believe you should waste your time and attention on the likes of him. There’s no man in the world worthy enough for you, in his mind.
-Even if this guy is no stranger to you, and he’s actually someone you have a crush on, Yushiro just won’t understand what you see in him.
-So yeah, overall, his mood is just always grumpy, aggressive, anything the guy does he points out and berates, he never leaves you alone with him, and stands in between you guys when you’re too close.
-If you yell at him he’ll apologize, but let's be fr, he doesn’t feel sorry at all.
-He’ll watch over you like a guardian angel <33 …Or demon.

you should know better than to ask a lady her age (nezha x reader)
content warnings: female reader, second pov (you/your), reader is a goddess and has tamayo vibes, nezha is nezha just more feral, mild age gap (both are adults on their first meeting + reader appears in her late twenties and nezha between 24-25 > author has no idea what counts as early/late twenties), all fluff and wholesome stuff, swooning nezha, nezha bullies mk once and wukong multiple times (biggest nezha opp), li jing is his own warning tbh
author's notes: demon slayer x lmk crossover when?
Meeting you was a dream Nezha could never want to forget. It was one of his life's greatest mistakes, and yet for once in his life, it was one he held no regrets for. Not one bit, when the feelings he held for you were so pure and filled with nothing but the utmost passion. To him, you meant the world, and perhaps more.
“Nezha, is it?” Soft hands run through his hair, undoing the messy braids he'd struggled to tie just this morning. “An interesting name for a god like him.”
“Does it matter?” Above him, his father crosses his arm. “Can you heal him, or not?”
The soft voice sighs melancholy. It reminds him of a lullaby, sung to him by a distant voice during a thunderstorm. The hands that thread through his hair still, and the warmth spreads through his body. Gentle fingers press into his scalp, massaging the tender skin.
Then, there is silence.
“That's it?” Li Jing's bitter voice breaks the silence. “That's all?”
“I must remind you, my lord, that this humble servant is not as powerful as her elders.” The hands in his hair gently rub a pattern. “And she has done her best for this lotus prince. All that remains now is for him to rest and allow his body to heal on its own.”
He feels fine, though. Whatever this stranger had done, his body has never felt more alive. It was opposite feeling he had felt before, when Taiyi had restored him.
His father ‘tsks’ angrily. “He'll be fine. He's not some child to rest at every interval.”
He anticipates whoever the stranger is to agree with him.
“Li Jing. You are correct that this is no child, but he is, theoretically, your son. And unless you imply your wife has made you wear a green hat, there is nothing in this world that can change the shared blood you two will have even until death. Have some sympathy, won't you?”
Ah. This was a strange feeling, having someone stand up to that prick of a father he had. Something warm fills his chest at the thought.
It's only when a door slams shut that Nezha dares to open his eyes. A kind woman is looking down at him, with nothing but a smile on her lips.
“Hello, Nezha.” You spoke his name so kindly, filled nothing but gentleness. “I'm glad you're awake. How are you feeling?”
A goddess. No, something else indeed.
Nezha had zero qualms dedicating his life's purpose to you. It's not like he had much to do anyway, and the Jade Emperor did not seem to mind his attachment to you so long as he did his duties. Li Jing complained often, and for all Nezha knew, most definitely still did, about this vulnerability he showed the goddess that healed him, but the Lotus Prince found that he did not give one fuck. Why should he care if his father had a stick up his ass about his relationship with the goddess that healed him? Lady (Name) held no complaints towards his presence, and thus, any other complaints from outsiders were ignored.
And you truly had nothing against Nezha's presence at your side. Since the day he had found himself lying on your lap, he seemed to hold some form of attachment and loyalty towards you. You put it off as his attempt at being grateful, even though you really didn't mind. Helping people was always one of the joys you held ever so dearly in your immortal life. Nezha really didn't need to express his gratefulness…
Though his company was nothing short of welcoming. The Lotus Prince, for all his grumpy attitude and sulky expressions, was a dear to be around, and you quite liked how his expression would always turn so adorably pink when you compliment his feats. One of your favorite pastimes with him was styling his hair, and tying colorful ribbons in them for the funs of it.
A few gods and immortals were surprised at the sight, but soon enough they learnt it was best not to ask. Less questions meant less injuries, since a certain prince did not like it when people swooned over your kindness.
You were pretty sure that was why so many patients senses a cold aura every visit, come to think of it. But maybe it was just your imagination and not the lotus prince glaring from the window.
Speaking of which, how did he managed to climb so high??
“Sun Wukong, is it?” You thanked Nezha for the tray that he offered you, your favorite blend of tea―a gift from Nezha's older brother, Jinzha―already made and poured into the fancy porcelain cups you favored so much. The tray was set down on the small table between yourself and your guests, and you offered a cup to each. “And your loyal protege, MK?”
The boy wearing the red bandanna nodded quickly, a noticeable blush on his cheeks. You put it off as excitement, since the moment he'd entered the celestial realm, he'd been gushing about the beauty of the place, top to bottom and back again. His mentor wasn't half as excited, grabbing him by the collar to stop him from running off to who knows where while he sipped on a cup.
“I'm surprised you haven't heard of me,” Sun Wukong remarked, raising a brow at you. “You a new god or something?” When you nodded in confirmation, he blinked. “Ah, that explains it. Pretty sure I would've recognized a pretty face like yours.”
Next to you, Nezha's aura radiated annoyance. Maybe it was just your imagination, but you swore you could feel the god and monkey exchanging heated glares.
Weird.
“You flatter this servant too much,” you answered humbly and smiled. “But it is true that this is the first time I've even heard of you, Sun Wukong.”
“Ah? How old even are you?” MK questioned curiously.
“25 when she first achieved enlightenment. 457 years in mortal terms.” This time, Nezha was the one who spoke. You flashed him a grateful smile―because sadly, you truly kept no track of these things, not when it felt so pointless―but Wukong exchanged a weird look with his protege, especially when Nezha gave him a stink eye. “And you should know better than to ask a lady her age. It's disrespectful.”
“Don't be mean, he meant no harm―” You chided Nezha, gently patting his face. He leaned into your touch with a pleasant smile, and you shook your head at the sweet gesture. “And yes, I've lived long, but not as long as the Prince or Sun Wukong has. I'm afraid there are still many things I am duly unaware of.”
Sun Wukong snickered. “Some more than others, aye, Nezha?”
In response, a golden brick was thrown at the monkey's face. It hit him square on the face, and you gasped as Sun Wukong fell over, holding his face painfully.
“Nezha!” You scolded the lotus prince and gather your robes to stand and examine the fallen Sage. Aside from the red spot on his forehead, he seemed fine, but still whined about the pain he was in. You glanced at Nezha's pouting expression. “That was not very polite! Don't do that again, understood?”
Nezha relented. “Yes, Lady (Name).” Even when angry she's still as beautiful as the morning sun.
Sun Wukong peeked an eye open. He caught the Lotus Prince's gaze from his position on your lap, and while you focused on soothing his pain, he winked.
Let's just say all hell broke loose after that, and Nezha and Sun Wukong owed you a new palace.
“Nyahaha.”
“Fuck you you stupid fucking cock slobbing whore!”
“Nezha!”
“Sorry, Lady (Name).”

Yoo~....hi~ hehe. Saur. I have a request...AHH DONT MIND ME THIS IS MY FIRST TIME-! so, when muzan discovers reader/yn has basically the very same effect as a blue spider lily? It's just that y/n is a demon slayer and if a demon sucked 1 litre of her/their blood they become resistant to the sun for 1 month? But the demons can only take like enough to make sure she's still alive because they can't kill her off since she's a marechi and the only one with this kind of perk in her blood? If ya dont wanna do it just know I really like your content ! I'm thinking about a muzan + uppermoons for this one but please include demon slayers if you want too! I LOVE YOU BYE!
OK so first of all HOW DO PEOPLE COME UP WITH IDEAS LIKE THAT? Second, what do I even add here? Like I low-key see a whole fic written in the request itself T^T
📌 Post Info: 💬 Request: Muzan discovers Y/N’s blood has the same effect as the Blue Spider Lily—if a demon drinks 1L of it, they gain sunlight resistance for a month. But Y/N is a Demon Slayer and a rare marechi, so they can’t be killed. 👥 Characters Included: Muzan + Upper Moons (+ Demon Slayers if needed!) 🌎 AUs Used: Canonverse 📖 Summary: Y/N unknowingly carries a powerful secret in their blood—one that could change everything for demons. Muzan, upon discovering this, is thrown into obsession, knowing he must keep Y/N alive but also control them. Meanwhile, demons and slayers alike react in shock, fear, and fascination at the implications of Y/N’s existence.
🩸 Muzan & Upper Moons React to Y/N’s Blood Being Like the Blue Spider Lily 🩸
🩸 Muzan Kibutsuji At first, he doesn’t believe it—this can’t be real. The Blue Spider Lily eluded him for centuries, and now a mere human carries its effects in their blood? The moment he confirms it, a dark obsession begins. “You are no longer a mere Demon Slayer… you are a key to my future.” Treats you like his most prized possession—not quite an enemy, but not an ally either. You belong to him. Killing you is not an option, but keeping you under his control is. Orders the Upper Moons to capture you alive and ensure no other demons consume your blood without his permission. 🔪 Kokushibo (Upper Moon One) Remains calm but sees the massive implications of your existence. “This power… it is no trivial matter. You are a rarity even among humans.” Unlike the others, he doesn’t immediately see you as prey. Instead, he considers what Muzan’s obsession might mean for the future of demons. Would not drink your blood without Muzan’s order—he values discipline too much. If ordered to capture you, he would do so with precision and minimal harm. 🔥 Doma (Upper Moon Two) Absolutely fascinated. This is a miracle—a human that could extend his life and allow him to walk in the sun? “Oho~ Y/N-chan, aren’t you the most adorable little thing? If you ever feel like joining me, I’d be happy to take good care of you~” Unlike Kokushibo, he would definitely try to sneak a taste of your blood, just to see if Muzan is telling the truth. Not afraid to break Muzan’s orders if he thinks he can get away with it. 💀 Akaza (Upper Moon Three) Horrified and intrigued at the same time. On one hand, he can’t deny how useful you are to demons. On the other, he hates the idea of preying on a human for their blood. “Tch… this is disgusting. You shouldn’t exist.” (Says this, but he knows he won’t harm you.) Would rather fight you fairly than treat you like a walking elixir. If Muzan ordered him to take you alive, he would—but he’d be conflicted the whole time. 🐍 Gyutaro (Upper Moon Six) “Wait… so yer sayin’ we gotta keep this human alive? Tch, sounds like a pain.” Absolutely jealous that you have something so valuable in your blood. Would not hesitate to drink from you if he got the chance—but only if Muzan allowed it. Heavily debates if he should just kill you to end the chaos but ultimately decides against it.
🔬 Tamayo & Yushiro's Reaction
🩸 Tamayo This changes everything. Tamayo has spent centuries searching for ways to counteract Muzan’s control, and now Y/N’s blood could be the key to understanding demon biology. “If we can analyze the properties of your blood, we might be able to create something that prevents demons from succumbing to Muzan’s curse…” She immediately samples your blood and works on multiple theories—one being a possible cure for demonification. Fearful that Muzan will come for you. She’s already lost so much and refuses to let you become his puppet. “Y/N, you must not let them take you. If Muzan gets his hands on you, he will become invincible.” 🩸 Yushiro Furious. Protective. ABSOLUTELY NOT having this. “Tch! This is exactly why humans are so weak—you’re just walking around with something that makes you a target!” He doesn’t mean to sound harsh; he’s just scared for you. He knows Muzan will stop at nothing to get you. Would stick by your side 24/7, glaring at anyone who even mentions your blood. Secretly admires your strength but will never admit it.
⚔️ Hashira Reactions
🔥 Rengoku Kyojuro (Flame Hashira) “Y/N! This is a great burden, but I trust you will remain steadfast!” Genuinely worried for your safety but will support you no matter what. Encourages you to harness your strength rather than see yourself as a victim. If Muzan tries to take you, he WILL step in. “I WILL NOT LET YOU FALL INTO HIS HANDS!” 🌊 Giyuu Tomioka (Water Hashira) Quiet but deeply concerned. “You shouldn’t have to carry this alone.” Understands the weight of your situation but struggles with how to help. If necessary, he will fight to protect you. 🌪️ Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Hashira) FURIOUS. “ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?!” The thought of demons wanting your blood makes him absolutely enraged. “WE NEED TO GET RID OF YOU—NOW. It’s the only way to stop Muzan!” (Obviously, he wouldn’t actually do it, but his panic makes him say crazy things.) After cooling down, he reluctantly swears to protect you—but doesn’t like it. 🐍 Obanai Iguro (Serpent Hashira) “This is dangerous. You are dangerous.” Doesn’t trust that this won’t end badly. He fears you’ll be captured and used against the Demon Slayers. Despite his paranoia, he will fight tooth and nail to keep you from Muzan. 🦋 Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira) Acts calm, but internally losing her mind. “Oh my, Y/N! You’re quite the rare delicacy, aren’t you?” (She’s making light of it, but she’s terrified for you.) Immediately plans countermeasures—poisons, traps, ways to keep you out of demon hands. If any demon comes near you, she will not hesitate to kill. ⚡ Tengen Uzui (Sound Hashira) “Tch. This is the most UNFLASHY situation I’ve ever heard.” But behind the bravado, he’s seriously worried. “You’re basically a golden goose for demons. This is bad.” Keeps an eye on you at all times. Muzan is NOT getting you. ❄️ Muichiro Tokito (Mist Hashira) Confused at first. “Why does your blood do that?” When he realizes how important it is, he becomes extremely protective. Muzan isn’t getting you—not on his watch. 🌿 Gyomei Himejima (Stone Hashira) Prays for you. He knows you didn’t ask for this. “You are carrying a great burden. But you are not alone.” Refuses to let Muzan touch you. 🏮 Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira) “Y/N! That’s so scary! But also kind of cool… but mostly scary!!” Extremely protective. Stays by your side as much as possible. If any demon tries to take your blood, she will tear them apart.
⚖️ Final Thoughts: BAE, THIS REQUEST WAS 10/10 🔥🔥🔥

Here is my revised request lol
Where it's a one-sided love/crush with yushiro, mitsuri, Obana, and Lady Tamayo, how the reader wishes them all the best but also just wants them. If there is even a sliver of chance for them to return their one-side love. If you feel like it, maybe they might have someone who is helping them move on from the one side love?
Get ready for this to hurt.
And if you’re in love, then you are the lucky one.
Tumblr media
FT. Yushiro, Kanroji Mitsuri, Iguro Obanai, and Lady Tamayo. Gender Neutral reader.
WARNINGS: Angsty as hell. I drew the title from the song Youth by Daughter. Some reciprocation in Obanai’s. I also hope I did Yushiro justice. I’ve never written for him before. Um pretty emotional overall. Don’t forget to put on your sad music while reading this. These are going to be pretty long. Some were very obviously cut short due to how long they were getting, for that, I apologize. Please bear with me 😭

YUSHIRO
Each day you awoke longing for a purpose, and every time the day failed you. It wasn’t until you caught wind of the Demon Slayer Corps that things finally started to look up. It seemed perfect. You’d undergo training and then participate in a simple survival event. Of course, it wasn’t as easy as it sounded. The training you underwent was harsh, and the final selection was even worse. Each time the sun set you feared for your life until you remembered that this was the challenge that you had been waiting for. You claimed it to be your calling, despite not being very good at it.
When it was all said and done, you picked the metal for your weapon and went about your business. There had only been one other person to make it out of the selection alive. You remember being surprised. How could so many people have trained so hard only to lose their lives? One would have thought that they would have been properly prepared before entering the challenge. Though, you were hardly prepared yourself. It was nothing but sheer luck that kept you alive, and you were more than grateful.
It wasn’t long before your crow had begun to send you all over to complete missions. Each demon you encountered seemed to be much stronger than the last, a thought that frightened you. With each one you killed, you felt yourself growing more powerful. Your breathing techniques were perfect, it was just your lack of physical strength that caused you to struggle. But you weren’t too worried about it. If you had been able to take down the ones before, then there was nothing stopping you from taking down the one now, right?
Right?
That’s what you thought when you chased the lower rank six of the Twelve Kizuki into a corner. You were sure that it had nowhere else to go, which would ensure that you’d be able to kill it and move on to the next place. You were sure that if your stance was just right, then you’d be able to land the perfect blow and come out victorious. But you were wrong.
The demon wasted no time freeing itself of your presence before appearing behind you suddenly. Your heart had dropped, leaving you with nothing to do but hope that a fellow demon slayer would sense your distress and come to your aid. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
The foul beast beat you within an inch of your life, leaving you to drown in your own blood. You cried as you lay there, unable to move. Your life had been short, but you were willing to accept it as it was and move on to the next one. Everything faded to black slowly, and you heard the sound of oxides speaking over you as you lost consciousness. You recalled smiling at the sound. They sounded like angels.
Approximately three days later, you awoke. You didn’t recognize the room you were in, which put you in edge. Bandages covered numerous wounds scattered across your body, an observation that led to you noticing your uniform top was missing. Thankfully you still had the bottoms on, or else you would’ve felt incredibly uncomfortable. You groaned in pain as you sat up. Your head was spinning.
“We thought you wouldn’t make it.” A gentle, feminine voice spoke. You turned to look at the speaker, your eyes landing on the most beautiful woman you had ever seen. Her skin was pale and glossy, her eyes an alluring shade of purple. She was elegant. She was an angel. Behind her stood a slightly shorter man. While he too was beautiful, you noticed that he looked far from pleased at your survival. The woman saw you avert your gaze and followed it, giving the man a stern look before turning back to you. “You may call me Tamayo,” she paused, “and he is Yushiro. Would you mind telling us about yourself, demon slayer?”
“How do you know I’m a…” you trailed off and sighed. Of course. They must be demon slayers themselves if they recognized your uniform. “I don’t really have anything notable to say about myself. I joined the Demon Slayer Corps in hopes of being able to do something with my life. Before that it’s all mundane,” you frowned and swung your legs over the side of the bed. You winced as your feet hit the floor. If only you had died. You would’ve spared these people the trouble of looking after you. You met Tamayo’s gaze. “Are you affiliated with the Corps?”
She hesitated, stuttering slightly before simply smiling at you. “Why don’t you join us out here for some tea,” she suggested. Her response confused you, but you nodded nonetheless. She and Yushiro left, giving you some time to explore the room you were in. Your uniform top was folded neatly atop a nearby chair. You reached out and grabbed it. The thing must’ve been torn to shreds by that demon, seeing as there were many different colored patches decorating it. You sighed and slipped it on over your head.
Your body ached with each move you made, yet you persisted. Slowly, you made it out of the room and into the hallway. You followed the sounds of voices to an open room that appeared to be the main room. Tamayo had her hands folded neatly in her lap as she spoke to Yushiro, who had his legs crossed and his hands resting on his knees. He gave you a disgusted look before continuing his chat with Tamayo.
Hesitantly, you sat down with them, resting your legs neatly to the side. Tamayo turned to look at you before taking a deep breath. “You asked us if we were affiliated with the Corps in any way. To tell you the truth, we are. We know of them and they know of us.” Yushiro scoffed. “But we ourselves are not demon slayers. We are demons that exist freely of Muzan Kibutsuji’s control.” Your eyes widened. You had no clue that such a thing was possible. “We mean you no harm, truly. Our goals align with those of the Demon Slayer Corps.”
She gave you a second to process the information. You had so many questions, but you feared being rude. Sensing this, she gestured for you to go on. “How did you break free of his curse?” You were immediately answered by an annoyed sigh from Yushiro.
“Such a foolish question! Do not ask Lady Tamayo such things!” He glared at you.
“Yushiro. It is only right for them to ask questions. Don’t shun them,” she paused, mulling over her next words. “I spent many years trying to free myself of Muzan’s control. But it wasn’t until I was spared by a very kind man that I was freed. Since then, I have dedicated my life to the study of both demon and human biology,” she hung her head slightly, averting her gaze. You could tell by her tone that she was thankful to have been spared. It nearly brought tears to your eyes.
“What about Yushiro? Was he not a servant of Muzan too?” You asked slowly, tilting your head. Yushiro crossed his arms and looked away, biting his tongue to avoid making Tamayo upset.
“Ah… Yushiro. He had a chronic illness that kept him bedridden for years. His condition would worsen each day I was taking care of him. He was practically dying before my eyes. I gave him the choice to go on living that way, or to be cured and live longer as a demon. There weren’t any promises I could make him about the treatment’s effectiveness, but I couldn’t bear to watch him suffer.” You listened in awe. She was so sweet, and you thought that it was the most amazing thing.
“So you…” were a human. You looked at Yushiro. These two beings before you had rejected their existences as demons and chose to aid humans instead. It really was quite wonderful. “You two… are amazing.” Tamayo’s eyes widened at your words. She seems taken aback by your honesty. Yushiro seemed equally as stunned, his eyes briefly looking over at you. After all, it was rare that they weren’t treated like the monsters that they were.
“Why… thank you.” Tamayo smiled softly, a light hearted expression gracing her features.
Over time you began to heal. The everlasting soreness in your body had finally begun to fade, which allowed you to help out around the house. Tamayo had gone out and bought you a casual yukata so you wouldn’t constantly be in your uniform. You wore it whenever it was clean to show her how much you appreciated it. Oh she was so sweet to you. Yushiro too. Since the time you had first joined them, he had really warmed up to your being there.
The two of you would often go out together and pick herbs for Tamayo. He knew all of the right places to look, and how to tell if what he was looking for was ripe or not. You admired his knowledge on the topic, often remarking on his experience when you were out. Every now and then he’d show you what you should look for, but you were mainly just there to provide some form of protection if the need arose. Not that you didn’t think he was capable of protecting himself— it’s just that Tamayo stated that it would be better if you went out and kept watch for him.
This time was just like the last, but only in the sense that you were on the lookout for other demons while he was working. It seemed that recently your feelings toward him had changed. He had grown close enough to you to tell you about his feelings for Tamayo, and you had grown close enough to him to realize that you had fallen for him. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. It just made things a little awkward for you.
“Here. Hold this,” he huffed as he shoved an armful of the plants into your arms. “Lady Tamayo said that she needed a lot this time,” he mumbled to himself. You nodded with a sigh. He admired her so much, and she only saw him as a friend. It was comical when you didn’t think about the pain that it caused him. In many ways, you and him were similar. But you knew he didn’t want to compare himself to a mortal being such as yourself.
“What else did she say she needed?” You asked, peering over the heap of herbs in your arms to look at him. He had frozen in place, his eyes narrowed. “What is it?” You whispered, now on edge. Instinctively, you reached out for your sword, dropping the herbs in the process.
In the blink of an eye, Yushiro pushed you to the side and blocked an attack from the demon that he had assumed was following you through the forest. He groaned as he fought it off, wincing at the relentless assault. You quickly rose to your feet, katana in hand, and leaped at the monster. You managed to cut its head off with one swift movement.
“Are you alright?” He asked, quickly turning to look at you. His hands grasped your cheeks, moving your face around to see if you were hurt in any way. The action caused your face to flush. Yushiro noticed that your face had gotten slightly warmer, taking his hands away and giving you a confused look before turning and picking up the herbs.
“Can I… tell you something?” You asked slowly, attempting to aid him. He moved away from you and muttered a sharp ‘no’.
The walk home was spent in awkward silence. Maybe he’d realized how you felt about him. Maybe not. You weren’t sure, and it bothered you horribly. He kept his distance from you, his head turned so he wouldn’t have an opportunity to glance at you. It broke your heart. In such a short amount of time, he had begun to mean everything to you, and yet, you were nothing. He’d push you to the side and focus on Tamayo, you were sure.
And you were right. In the days following that little incident, he avoided you. He went out by himself everywhere and hardly spoke to you when he passed by. It pained you more than you had thought, seeing as Tamayo could sense your hurt. She sighed as she stood outside of your room. Emotions to her were like a wavelength that she could visualize. What you were feeling was strong enough to suffocate her. It only made her worry about you.
“Can I come in?” She asked slowly, knocking gently on the door. You mumbled a response and she walked in. “Is everything between you and Yushiro alright?” She sat down next to you on your bed, her concerned eyes meeting yours.
“Yeah. Everything’s fine. We just ran into a demon the other day, so it’s got him shaken,” you frowned, turning your head away from her. You could feel your lip quiver. Just thinking about it made your heart ache. After a few more seconds of sitting there, you sighed. There was a possibility that she could help you through your emotions. You turned back to face her, your tone slightly wistful. “I think I love him, Tamayo. There’s no realistic way for me to tell him or even be with him because he’s not human, but I feel so strongly for him in a way that I’ve never felt about anyone before…” you hung your head.
“I see…” she trailed off. There wasn’t really any form of advice she could offer you and she felt bad. “Don’t fault him for not knowing his emotions well enough to properly respond. He may not fully come around, but he will want to start being around you again,” she placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. “Just give it time.” You nodded, biting the inside of your cheek as you thought.
Just give it time.
But you didn’t have the time he did. You were doomed to die much sooner than he could ever dream of.
Tamayo left you alone with your thoughts. Of course you wanted to listen to her, but you knew it would be best if you didn’t. There was no sense in waiting when he had his heart set on Tamayo. And that hurt you more than anything. You laid back onto your bed, frowning.
Just give it time.
MITSURI
For years you had been a hashira alongside Mitsuri. Rengoku had trained you both when you joined the corps, but even then you had known her prior to serving in the corps. The whole reason you became a demon slayer was because she wanted to. She just didn’t want to go through it alone, which was fair. While Rengoku had taught you his breathing technique, neither you nor Mitsuri had resonated strongly with it. You made the choice to invent your own technique called ‘ice breathing,’ and she followed suit. Together, you made your way up the ranks and became hashiras.
It seemed that you did everything together.
If she were assigned a mission, she’d drag you along with her. If she wanted to go out to town, then she’d ask you if you wanted to go. Even your estates were in the same village. You really just couldn’t escape her.
It didn’t bother you much though. She was your friend, after all.
But you couldn’t help but want more. You had wanted more with her for such a long time you felt you were beginning to lose your mind.
There had been many times where you had gotten her alone to confess, but each time was interrupted by her crow calling her out to take care of something. Each of the hashira could see that you had fallen for Mitsuri, with the exception of Obanai. He had steered clear of everyone as soon as he gained the title of hashira. You on the other hand, had not. Tengen had been a good friend of yours outside of Mitsuri.
Actually, he had been the one talking you through the whole process. He claimed that since he had three wives, he was the right guy to ask. Because of this, you found yourself in many odd situations in the name of love. Unfortunately, Mitsuri just didn’t notice. She had always been told that she was undesirable because of her appearance, and yet, she was the most beautiful woman you’d ever seen.
You had a plan this time. A plan that was slightly guaranteed to work. Even if it didn’t work in your favor, it’d still work. You’d get her alone under the stars and propose. Yes, propose. Marriage amongst hashira wasn’t really accepted, due to the circumstances of the title, but no one had to know. As long as you had her you’d be happy.
“So what’re you going to do when you get her alone?” Tengen asked, attempting to lift up your spirits. He’d promised to keep the whole thing a secret, which you’d greatly appreciated. You couldn’t have been more thankful for his help. Especially now that you were so in need of it.
“I’m going to take her hands, look into her eyes and tell her how I feel!” You nodded, your expression serious. All of this seemed rather silly, but his enthusiasm was making you feel better.
“That’s right! And what’s she going to do?” He wrapped a large, beefy arm around your shoulder, pulling you close to him with a grin. You chuckled and pushed him away.
“Yes!” You paused, looking away in embarrassment. “This feels stupid,” you sighed, shaking your head. “Why are we doing this again?”
“We’re doing this so you won’t back out at the last minute,” he raised a brow as he looked at you. His hands landed on his hips. Why was this grown man full of such sassiness? You rolled your eyes.
“I’m not going to back out!” You argued, but to no avail. Tengen mocked you with his hand, a smirk growing on his lips.
“I mean, if it doesn’t work out you can always marry me,” the taller man spit out nonchalantly. His words caused you to choke on air. You gave him a look, feigning disgust as you stared at him.
“Yeah no, I’ll pass,” you shuddered at the thought.
“I’m just saying.”
You sighed once more, looking out at the scenery. The sun was beginning to set, which meant that you would soon be alone with Mitsuri. The thought both scared and excited you. After all, you’d finally get the chance to tell her a secret that you’ve kept for so long. Even if she didn’t feel the same, at least you’d get the satisfaction that came with finally having your question answered.
The stars shined brightly overhead, perfectly visible from the tree you had chosen to sit under. Mitsuri would be arriving any moment now. Any moment. Your heart rate only increased as the seconds passed. Tonight was different from all of your other attempts, but only in the sense that you were asking to be bound to her forever. Well, either way you’d be with her, but you wanted to be with her.
“There you are!” Your friend cheerily called out, grinning as she sat next to you. “I’m so sorry I was late! Iguro gifted me these pretty green socks and treated me to some sweets afterward! They were the most delicious sweets I’d ever had!” She giggled gleefully at the thought. “Oh if only you had been there! Did you know that Iguro is actually a sweetie? Oh he’s such a sweetie! And he’s cute, too! I had to refrain from blushing the whole time, it was so embarrassing!” She continued to giggle, trailing off when she remembered that it was you that had asked her to join you. Her face flushed and she looked up at the sky. “So how come you wanted to hang out all the way out here?”
You swallowed, hanging your head in shame. Of course. Obanai. Your heart ached as you sat next to her. She had said he was cute, but that didn’t mean anything, did it? She said that about everyone she liked. Your hands clutched your slayer uniform. This was foolish of you. There was no way you had thought that you stood a chance at getting with Mitsuri. It was almost laughable. You had no idea how Tengen entertained the idea for so long.
“Hello…?” She leaned forward and waved her hand in front of your face. The motion pulled you from your thoughts, causing you to jump slightly. “Ah! There’s my friend! I was starting to think I’d lost you!” She smiled widely and giggled once again.
“My apologies,” you forced a nervous chuckle, your face flushing a light shade of pink. Thankfully she didn’t notice. “I didn’t mean to zone out on you.” Your heart pounded. You needed to leave as soon as possible. You couldn’t bear to be around her in this moment. It was hurting you. “I actually had something I wanted to talk to you about—“
“Caw! Head west to the nearest town! Caw! Get moving! Get moving!” Mitsuri’s crow called out. Its raspy voice ruined the moment entirely, making you frown. Your friend rose to her feet quickly, giving you a sympathetic look.
“Would you like to join me?” She asked sweetly, but you declined. “Alright! I’m going to go find Iguro and see if he wants to go! I’ll see you later, friend!” You waved, giving her a soft smile as she ran off. As soon as she was no longer in your line of sight, you ran to find Tengen. He’d promised you that he’d stay in the area for your sake, a promise that you really hadn’t expected to see through.
You ran, your breathing heavy and your heart heavier. You cursed yourself mentally for being so stupid. Actually, you were mid swear when Tengen stumbled upon you.
“Woah there! I’m guessing that things didn’t go well?” You shot him a glare before simply breaking down. He took a step back, unsure of how to handle the situation. Of course he’s comforted people before, but that didn’t mean that things like this didn’t catch him off guard. After a few seconds of watching you cry in silence, he stepped forward and hugged you. In all actuality, he had thought that you had this in the bag. He really saw no reason as to why you wouldn’t.
You never really explained things to him until the next day, which even then you were reluctant to do. Of course he had told you that you should go out for it again, but you disagreed. Obanai made her giddy in a way that you felt you couldn’t, so you saw no point in competing.
Things would be easier if you just stayed her friend.
OBANAI
Days turned into weeks that turned into months. Soon those months would turn into years. You had been staying at the home of Shinobu Kocho for ages now due to an injury you had received while you were away on a mission. The demon had nearly taken off your arm, breaking several of your bones in the process. Thankfully, you were able to kill if before it could kill you, but it resulted in you calling for aid.
Only a handful of your fellow demon slayers had set aside time to visit you, including your close friend and fellow hashira Gyomei. Each time he visited you he wound up sobbing, praising you for your resilience and bravery. He cared a lot for you, and your recent incident had caused him to worry about you more than usual. He had even set aside missions to help Shinobu take care of you. He was a true friend.
Aside from him, only one other hashira had come to visit you. Iguro Obanai.
Obanai was someone that you didn’t really know all too well, despite both reaching the rank of hashira at the same time. You had always been friendly with him, of course, but it never really went farther than that. You thought of him as alluring and slightly mysterious. His silence intrigued you, as did his mask and his snake. He was an enigma in your eyes.
With your curiosity arose some issues. The deeper you dove into his history, the more you found yourself longing to get to know him. You couldn’t even think about him normally without getting slightly flustered, which upset you. After all, your feelings towards him were rooted in your curiosity, nothing more.
“How are you doing today, my friend?” Gyomei’s voice met your ears. He ducked as he entered the room, walking over and sitting on the chair next to your bed.
“Not too bad, actually,” you grinned, “I was able to walk around the corridor earlier! You should’ve been there! I didn’t even need help standing!” You chuckled softly and Gyomei smiled softly. Tears began to slide down his cheeks as he faced you.
“You are so strong! I’m so happy for you!” He clasped his hands together, tilting his head back dramatically. You rolled your eyes, smiling. “I hope that you continue to do well!” Your smile only grew at his enthusiasm. He was sweet, that was for sure.
“Gyomei, I’ve got a question for you,” you asked slowly, waiting for him to calm down some.
“What is it, dear friend?”
You shifted in your bed, suddenly feeling nervous. “What do you know about Obanai? I know it’s odd, but I can’t help but be curious. I don’t really know too much about him. Though, now that I think about it, you probably don’t either. He doesn’t talk much,” you sigh, chuckling softly. He was confusing, that much was true.
“I know only what I’ve been told,” your friend paused, “which is very little. I’m apologize, friend,” he rose to his feet, his hands still clasped together. “I will make time to visit you again next week. I cannot wait to see how much better you are doing then!” He smiled once more before leaving.
Your time alone was brief. The door closed, only to open again, revealing the man that you had just asked about. All you could do was offer him a smile. He walked forward some and sat, looking at you for a few seconds before audibly taking a deep breath.
“How are you?” He asked bluntly. The snake around his neck eyed you, its tongue reaching in your direction.
“I’m just as good as I was yesterday,” you tease but he doesn’t react. Talking to him is like talking to a rock. “They had me walking down the hallway earlier, which means that I should be doing more by the end of the week, though, it just depends on what Shinobu has to say about my condition.” You smiled. He was really good at getting you to ramble so he could avoid conversation. You found it funny, in a way. He’d rather listen to you speak than have to talk.
“Here, I brought you this,” he reached forward, revealing a brand new haori. You gasped at the sight. It looked just like the one you had lost when you got injured. Grinning, you took it from his hands and held it in the air to get a better look. Its resemblance to your old one was impressive. You hugged it and giggled.
“How did you get this?” You look up at him. His face looks slightly flushed, but you think nothing of it.
“I heard that you didn’t have your old one anymore. I know a seamstress in the town over, so I commissioned her to make you a new one.” He wasn’t about to tell you that he had memorized the patterns from observing you so often. No, that sounded weird. He was hoping that you wouldn’t question him any further.
“Thank you, Obanai. I really appreciate your gift.” You looked down at the haori, playing with the fabric between your fingers. Hopefully you’d be able to wear it soon.
After that, Obanai began to miss days. Once he had come in with Mitsuri, which hurt you to see. They looked happy together, so you couldn’t really be too upset, but it did bother you some. Each time he stopped by, he seemed to be less talkative than before, which you didn’t know could happen. With each day he missed, you seemed to be getting better. Within a week, you were able to go out on small missions in the nearest town. A few days after that, you were finally back to your regular routine.
Shinobu had discharged you from her infirmary, which meant that you finally got to return to your own estate. With everything going on, you had yet to stop and check in with Gyomei. You felt bad about it, but you couldn’t just skip out on these missions. There had been so much in your area that you hadn’t been able to take care of, and you needed to get to work on it.
“Caw! Head east, head east! Caw!” Your crow’s cries echoed into the air. Its shrill voice never failed to make you cringe. “Dangerous! Backup will be there! Caw!” You sighed and continued on. Hopefully it would be Gyomei.
You reached the area, looking out at the dark forest that threatened you. You couldn’t help but wonder what had hidden itself in there that was considered dangerous enough for you, a hashira, to need backup.
The sound of footsteps caused you to draw your blade, pointing its edge at the culprit. Obanai didn’t even jump, looking at you with his hetrochromatic eyes. He seemed surprised to see you already out in the field, wearing the haori he got you, no less. His face flushed slightly and he pushed past you, hoping you didn’t notice.
“Sorry about that. I’m a little on edge,” you admitted, sheathing your blade and catching up to him. “I didn’t know you were in the area.”
“Pure coincidence.”
“Right…” you eyed him before nodding. “So how’s everything back at the headquarters? I know you live relatively close to it. How are the others?”
“They’re all fine.”
“Gyomei too?”
“Gyomei too.” His tone got slightly more bitter at the mention of Gyomei, something that nearly went over your head. You froze, giving him a confused look.
“Do you not like Gyomei?” You tilted your head, your brows furrowing.
“I find him to be very respectable.” He paused. “… how do you feel about Mitsuri?” His question only confused you more.
“She’s a great slayer, and really sweet. I like her,” you caught up to him once again. “Why…?”
“Are you and Gyomei engaged?” He blurted out, turning to look at you. You were caught so off guard by his gaze that you took a step back.
“Of course not! He and I are just close friends! I thought everyone knew that.” Well clearly not everyone knew that. You cleared your throat, looking out around you for any signs of danger. Weird. You weren’t sensing anything. “What’s all of this about?”
“Nothing, I—“ he cut himself off, continuing on with his walk. He stopped again and turned back to face you. “Mitsuri and I aren’t engaged either.”
He turned back around, not wasting any time heading deeper into the forest. Your body was frozen in confusion. That whole interaction was weird. You shook it off and ran after him.
You couldn’t help but feel better now that you knew about him and Mitsuri, though. Yes it was weird, but it had bothered you since he had stopped coming around. Truth be told, you had fallen for him not long after he had begun his daily visits. The fact that he cared enough to give you his attention daily made you feel like you were special, and you liked that. Who wouldn’t?
Once he came back into sight, you slowed down, making sure he was aware that it was you instead of a demon. You rested your hand on the hilt of your katana, following him in silence. That’s how the rest of the mission was spent, in silence. The two of you never really found the supposed dangerous demon, but you didn’t mind. At least now you could rest easy knowing that you stood a slight chance with your fellow hashira.
LADY TAMAYO
For as long as you could remember, you had been under the care of Lady Tamayo and her assistant Yushiro. Your life prior to joining them was a memory that eluded you. No matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t remember how you had met them. They had tried to explain it all to you before, but it never made sense. Demons? Demon slayers? It all sounded like a fairy tale.
Tamayo had entrusted you with taking care of the garden out behind the house, a duty you had accepted happily. You enjoyed watering the various herbs. Their lives were just as valuable as yours, and you made sure to treat them with as much tenderness as you could.
Every now and then Tamayo would come and help you, but that was rare. She usually spent her time inside, studying away at human biology. It interested you some, but you knew better than to interrupt her.
When Tamayo wasn’t available, you’d spend your time with Yushiro. He never really got a say in the matter, but thankfully he had learned to stop protesting a while ago. The two of you were walking down the streets of the town the house was hidden in. Despite it being late, there were many vendors that were still open. Their resilience intrigued you. You reached out and tugged on Yushiro’s sleeve, smiling softly.
“Do you think that Lady Tamayo would like this?” You asked, holding up an intricate painting of a woman looking at the moon. Yushiro looked at it, his eyes widening slightly. He was impressed by the strokes on the canvas. Tamayo was fond of art, so of course she would like it, but Yushiro didn’t want her to favor you more than she did him. He crossed his arms.
“Get it. But make sure to tell her that I helped you pick it out,” he said stubbornly before turning to walk once more.
Eagerly, you bought the painting, carrying it under your arm as you followed Yushiro. He stopped suddenly, holding his head in his hand. You recognized this behavior, grabbing his shoulder and leading him off to the side and sitting him down. He looked pale than usual, and you sighed.
“When was the last time you ate?” You asked, setting the painting to the side gently. The man only grunted in response, pouting as he avoided your concerned gaze.
“… last week…” he mumbled.
“Last week?! You know you’re not supposed to go that long without food!” You panicked and looked around. Nobody could see you. With a huff, you scooted towards him. “Listen, you can feed off of me just this once. It’s too risky to have you roaming the streets while starved,” you sighed, “you must’ve felt like you were going insane! Oh come here…” you pulled down the shoulder of your kimono, revealing more skin than you would’ve liked. Yushiro eyed you. The thought of eating even a bit of your flesh scared him. What if Tamayo found out? What would she think of him?
“Hurry up!” You whispered through your teeth, giving him a glare. He was taking way too long to make up his mind. Unfortunately, you didn’t have time. He sighed and leaned forward, taking a bite out of your skin.
About five minutes later, the two of you returned to the town. He seemed to be in a better mood now, which was good. You just couldn’t believe that he was walking around while hungry like that. Things would’ve been bad if he had snapped.
“Hey Yushiro?”
“What?”
“Do you think Lady Tamayo likes anyone?” You asked as you readjusted the painting. It was random, but you couldn’t help but be curious. His cheeks flushed a rosy pink and he sighed.
“I don’t think so. She’s too focused on doing her duties to set aside time for things like romance,” he frowned slightly as he spoke.
“Hey Yushiro?”
“What?”
“I think I like Lady Tamayo.” Your words made him choke on nothing. He hadn’t expected that in the slightest.
“You and me both…” he mumbled, leading you back to the house.
Tamayo loved the painting, choosing to hang it at the end of the hallway. Every time she saw you she made sure to thank you for the thoughtful present. Her compliments made you giddy, usually causing your face to flush a little.
You felt that your feelings for her only got stronger with each day that passed. Hell, you couldn’t even think of her without getting butterflies in your stomach. It was beginning to get in the way of your work. On times she’d come out to the garden to help you, you wouldn’t be able to speak. You were sure that if you said something, you’d butcher it so badly that you’d have to ask Yushiro to end your misery.
You sighed as you pulled another weed from the ground near the garden. The herbs were looking great, despite it being their off season. The luscious green plants surrounded you. They were nearly big enough to hide you completely, and you took great pride in that fact.
“Hey, are you ready to go out? Lady Tamayo said that she needed some time alone for a while.” Yushiro’s voice caused you to perk up. You nodded and gave him a smile.
“Hold on! I need to change real quick!” You stood up and went inside to your room. It didn’t take you long before you were standing in front of Yushiro, asking him what the plan was for tonight.
“Let’s stay in town.”
“Alright.”
There weren’t as many shops open tonight, unfortunately, so you and Yushiro just took to heading towards the park in the middle of the town. It was a small park, but that didn’t stop it from being beautiful. You sighed as you sat down onto the grass. A part of you wished to find another gift for Tamayo, but your options were limited.
You looked up at the moon, taking in its glory in silence before turning back to your friend.
“Does your love for Lady Tamayo ever cause you pain?” You asked.
“Sometimes.”
“Sometimes?”
“Yeah.”
A part of you understood what he meant. Sometimes she was so beautiful that it caused your heart to throb in agony. Maybe it was because you knew that she would never be yours. Either way, your giddy love for her was beginning to torment your weary soul. You didn’t enjoy being around her simply due to the fact that her sweet words wouldn’t fail to cause you some sort of pain.
“Yeah…” you repeated, sighing once more.

By his side (Yushiro x Female Reader)
Genre: Slight angst
It would be great if you read this after knowing what happened after the battle with Muzan. That being said, this post might contain spoilers. Happy reading.
Tumblr media
There was no one by his side except for the demon cat. All his friends had already died and the only one left was their ancestors. Even his lady had died during the battle with Muzan. Decades had passed and yet he still remained the same. The same young boy named Yushiro everyone used to know.
The people nowadays only know him as a famous painter of a lady in kimono. It was so devastating living by himself alone to be the only one who remembers, the only who exists and the only one survived. The thought of being in joy to still be alive never crossed his mind as the entire time he could only reminisce about the past. There was just no future memory that could treat it.
'Are you sure you want to be a demon. Being a demon is a lonely being...'
He could barely remember his lady voice now when she asked his consent to turn him into a demon. The longer he spent his time alive, the more he forgot about her face. Slowly, his painting was also full with a faceless lady in a kimono. Ironically, it became one of his famous paintings.
As per usual Yushiro went to visit his friend's graves to do his duty as the only one who remembers them. They were someone who was so brave in sacrificing their life in the battle with Muzan. The grave was empty most of the time. No one wants to visit an old grave after all due to the rumors it is being hunted. In his hand, there is a banquet of anemone to put one on every grave of demon slayer corps.
His feet were dragged across the road as he always would feel deep woe whenever he visited the grave. The agony that started to fill his heart made it even hard to breathe but Yushiro is a stoic guy so his face was maintained as expressionless although her heart felt otherwise.
As Yushiro was about to enter the old graveyard, his steps came to a halt upon seeing another being already in front of a tombstone. From afar he made out it was Tanjirou's grave. As if she could also feel his presence, the person turned their body to his direction.
Yushiro breathed halt as if there was a lump in his throat upon gazing at the person, a lady. A lady in a kimono who shared the same face as the person he holds dear. The face he was about to forget. It was the lady who saved his life from death.
How come Lady Tamayo was in front of him?! This was surreal. She clearly died and even her presence felt different. No, no one could replace the lady he hold dear in his heart. He should control his unstable emotion. The lady in front of him was not Lady Tamayo but he could figure out one thing. This lady, was a demon like him based on her scent.
"Another demon?..." Yushiro heard the lady whisper at the end of her breath as her eyes trails over him. Even her voice did not sound the same as Lady Tamayo who possesses a matured voice as the person in front of him sounds more high pitched. Like the voice of a young teenage girl.
'She is not her. Even after all these years, she has never come back...'
"What are you doing here?" Yushiro's harsh voice came out before he could control the tone to make it more gentler which took the lady by surprise. His disappointment went out of control as once again his hope for the latter to finally return shattered. Instead of being hostile towards him, the lady only smiled politely before calmly answering his question.
"I'm visiting my rescuer. It takes me a lot of time to reach here but I finally did after decades" The lady changed her gaze from Yushiro to Tanjirou's grave back. On the grave laid a fresh morning glory symbolised as friendship.
"Tanjiro is your friend?" The lady only nodded her head in response as her eyes never left the grave. The reflection in her eyes held multiple emotions but Yushiro could make out one of them as it also reflects the same as his.
"How about you. Are you also friend with him?"
"I would never call him my friend" His answer only made her smile. If he was not a friend then who would tend the grave this neat.
"Thank you for taking care of the graves. Everything look so tidy and I guess your are the one taking care of it based on the flowers in your hand. I will get going now"
"Where will you go?" Yushiro did not know why he tried to even put effort in conversing with this demon in front of him. Was it due to the reason he felt relief at least he was not the only demon left?
"Somewhere without any sunlight. I don't really have a fixed place to stay but I'm not even in need of one right." It was true as for demons the only way for them to survive is to have blood or humans to eat. A proper shelter was the last thing to be considered as long as they can avoid the sunlight.
"Don't you feel lonely?" Loneliness for decades was what tortured Yushiro but he barely admits it as if he ever recognised it, he might feel worse. He could even go insane watching or waiting for anyone he knows to die.
"Being a demon is lonely right? Rather than hiding my emotion I would admit my true feelings. I will recognise it proudly as that is the only way to amend the negative feelings. Truth to be told, I live because Tanjirou saved me so I don't want to waste his sacrifice. I want to proudly live as someone who could remember how great of a person he is"
Listening to her words made Yushiro feel complicated feelings. He could reflect on her words which mirrored his. Having her as his companion by his side might cure a lot. At least someone to accompany him in this endless life would be better if that person has an eternity life like him.
"I can provide you a place to stay. Come with me" The invitation seemed to catch the lady out of her guard as he smiled flatter a bit before it returned back on her face like nothing happened.
"I'm not gonna reject that kind offer but are you sure? We are basically strangers"
"I'm Yushiro" He flatly said as he did not want no for an answer. It took the lady some time to respond back but instead of turning him down, she gazed directly into his eyes, full of gratefulness.
"I'm Y/N. Please take good care of me" That was how both demons could cure their loneliness. By living side by side with each other.

Y/N Perspective.
It's early, too early. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself. For weeks now, I've followed the same routine: waking up, wandering the forest surrounding my village, and searching. Every day, I look for a sign that something, or someone, is out there. Yet somehow, I always come up empty-handed. It's not just me, though. My entire group is burnt out on this whole thing.
Searching for monsters has never been a passion of mine, but when you're down to your last cent and someone offers you free food and board in exchange for your help, how can you say no?
I still remember when Miss Tamayo approached me. It was snowing hard up in the mountains, and she saw how badly I was struggling in the cold. She was kind, took me in, and talked to me at length about the mystical monsters and beings her group had been studying and searching for. I'll admit, it was interesting, but I didn't believe any of it was real.
We've all heard the tales—the stories of the creatures we now call the Hashira, the terrifying monsters that once protected their respective villages and residents. While they made for nice campfire stories, there was simply no way these beings existed. Even if they did, why would they stay hidden? Wouldn't they seek revenge on the villagers who used them and then cast them out? None of it made any sense to me.
Despite voicing my concerns and disbelief to Miss Tamayo, she still wanted to help me, as long as I was willing to help her. And that's why I'm here now.
I'm in the middle of this forest. The sky is grey and cloudy, with rain surely on the way. It's foggy, and visibility is poor. Since I'm new and have only been working with these monster hunters for a few weeks, they've given me a basic route—one that minimizes the risk of encountering a real threat. Tamayo wanted me to look for a special flower that supposedly grows around here, but I haven't had any luck yet.
If I can't even find a flower, I don't feel like I'll make a promising monster hunter. At least, that's what Yushiro, one of Tamayo's most relentless supporters, thinks. Though we are civil to each other's faces, he openly voices his concerns about having me around. He says it's a waste of time to bring along someone who doesn't even "believe in the cause."
I suppose I can't argue with him too much. I've walked this same route every day for a few weeks now and still haven't come across the flower Tamayo sent me to find. Maybe it really is a waste of time—
My thoughts are interrupted by a rustling sound in the distance. My body immediately tenses up. I glance around, but the thick fog makes it hard to see. All this talk and thinking about monsters and mythical creatures is starting to get to me.
What was that? Did I lose the path? No, that's just me overthinking it, thanks to Tamayo and Yushiro filling my head with stories. I'm just being paranoid.
The rustling resumes, this time from the opposite direction. I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
"Tamayo? Yushiro? Is that you?" I call out into the fog.
I wait for their reply, but none comes. Adding to the unease, the air feels hotter now, and a strange clicking noise echoes through the area, growing closer and closer.
What should I do? Should I run?
As the clicking grew louder, I made up my mind and began to sprint through the fog, knocking branches and anything else in my path aside. At some point, I lost my footing. The trail must have ended, and I twisted my ankle on a tree root protruding from the ground.
My ears were filled with the sound of my own breathing, and it felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest. This can't be happening. I was sent on an easy route to fetch a flower, not to be chased by some crazy monster.
I tried to stand, but the pain in my ankle was too much. I strained to stay silent and listened for the clicking sounds; they were faint but still there. I had to get out of here.
Grabbing onto the trunk of the tree I had tripped over, I pulled myself up. It hurt, but the adrenaline rush made it barely bearable.
The fog was finally starting to lift, and I could see the path I usually followed. I must have accidentally stepped off it while running. As long as I could get back, Tamayo would be able to help me with my ankle.
As I started to move slowly, a red light in the distance suddenly caught my attention. Squinting, I tried to make out what it could be and then realized it was two red lights, gradually moving closer to me.
Eyes.
Panic surged through me as I scrambled to move, trying to go as fast as my injured ankle would allow, grabbing onto anything I could for support.
This can't be happening. I refuse to believe any of this is real. How could all those stupid campfire stories be true? And why, out of all the monster hunters in Tamayo's group, did I have to be the unlucky one?
I wanted to scream and yell for help, but I was so deep in this forest nobody from the safe house would hear me.
It hurts. It hurts so much. It feels like my body is going to give out any minute, but my mind is racing, forcing me to keep moving.
The clicking is now accompanied by a deep growling, making it sound all the more intense. Whatever this thing was, it sounded terrifying. And those deep red eyes didn’t really help with my imagination.
Then it happened. I had to take a knee. The strain on my ankle kept getting worse the more I moved. I'm done for. Whatever this thing is, it's going to kill me.
At least Yushiro can look at my corpse and say, "I told you so."
As the clicking and growling got even closer, there was a small thump to the ground as whatever was about to kill me approached. I shut my eyes and prepared for whatever my fate was.
I felt it stop a few feet behind me. This monster is just staring at me. I’m too afraid to face it. I don’t want the last thing I see to be those glowing red eyes.
"What are you doing? Why did you run away?"
My heart nearly stopped. That voice—it was deep, loud, and had an eerie, echoing effect. Was this monster talking to me?
I took a deep breath. What should I say? Should I beg for my life?
"I asked you a question, human. Why are you running away?"
I could hear a hint of annoyance in its tone. The last thing I wanted was to anger a mythical being. I slowly turned my body. The sight that met me made speaking even more difficult.
It was tall. He was tall—about eight and a half feet.
He had blonde fur and a long mane of hair with red accents scattered throughout, tall pointed ears, and those glowing red eyes.
My lips parted. I wanted to answer, to beg for my life and apologize for intruding. But his appearance was so intimidating, so... enchanting.
I froze as he moved closer.
"Can you not speak, human? Are you afraid of me?" He chuckled. His laugh was as intense as his voice.
"I can speak," I managed to choke out.
His eyes seemed to light up, and he smiled.
Dear God. Those teeth. Long and sharp. If he wasn’t terrifying before, he definitely was now. I felt my heart beating rapidly. I knew I was done for, but this was all too much.
"What is your name, human? I've seen you walk this path for days now. I deserve to know who intrudes on my territory daily." Instead of anger, his tone was oddly amused.
"My name is Y/N L/N." I tried to keep the nervousness out of my voice but didn’t do a great job.
"Well then, Y/N L/N. You wandered away from your usual trail as soon as I got close to you. Why did you run away? Aren't you supposed to be looking for me?" He laughed, a mocking sound.
"You are a 'monster hunter,' aren't you?"
I didn't know what to say. He was right. I was supposed to be looking for him. That was the whole point of Tamayo taking me on, but I hadn’t expected it all to be so real.
"I didn’t believe in monsters. I was sent to look for a specific flower," I mumbled.
"Didn't believe?" He moved closer, towering over me. "Tell me then, Y/N L/N, do you believe now?" He smiled, those sharp teeth gleaming.
I felt my body run cold. He was terrifying, not just in appearance but in his entire demeanor.
“Yes, I do.”
For a moment, silence filled the air, broken only by the sound of the wind and his slight clicking.
“What is your name?” I asked.
“I am Kyojuro Rengoku, the protector of this land and its residents.” The echo in his voice cemented my assumptions.
There was no mistaking it—I had run into one of the Hashira.
I’d heard the stories, the legends of Rengoku, the fierce protector of this area. He was kind until he wasn’t. Then, humans saw him as a threat and banished him to the forest.
He kneeled down in front of me, still on the ground.
“You don’t seem too surprised. Have you heard of me?” His ear twitched, and I noticed the massive tail behind him curl around his body.
I took a deep breath and nodded. “I’ve heard the stories. You’re the Hashira associated with fire.”
He perked up at my response.
“So, my legends live on! How amusing!” He laughed.
His voice was so loud, it was almost funny.
Why is he acting like this? I thought he would have killed me by now.
“You’re hurt,” he said, gesturing to my ankle.
“Yeah... I sprained it,” I replied, shifting awkwardly.
“Yes, I know. From running away from me.” His tail flicked slightly, and a smirk formed on his face.
I didn’t know what to say or do. I was completely at a loss. Here I was, casually having a conversation with one of the scariest and deadliest creatures to walk the earth.
“What are you going to do with me? If you’re going to kill me, can’t you just get it over with?”
He looked at me, a mix of confusion and amusement in his eyes.
“Why are you so desperate to die so soon? Do you not enjoy my company?” His voice echoed with a chuckle.
Is he being serious right now?
“No— I’m just... confused. Why are you still talking to me? I’m a monster hunter, not a very good one, but still a monster hunter. Shouldn’t you just kill me and get it over with?” I was desperate for an answer, needing to know if I should prepare to die or not.
He stared at me for a moment, as if deep in thought, his ears twitching slightly.
“No, I don’t think I’ll kill you,” he said plainly. “However, only on the condition that you continue to return here. Tell no one of your kind about me and continue to come see me.”
I sat there, dumbfounded. This terrifying creature was willing to spare my life as long as I returned for his company?
“Why would you want to see me again?” I asked.
He smiled, baring his long, sharp teeth, his ears perking up.
“Because, Y/N L/N, you are the first person to talk to me in a long time. To be quite honest, something inside me is telling me that you and I are really going to like each other.”
His tone shifted, becoming more sinister. What did this creature have planned for me?
And why was I excited to find out?

Kinktober: "Medical Play" || Tamayo x reader
contents: masks, gloves, fingering, clit play, praise & reassurance, talking you through it

↓ Fic below the cut ↓
The cool night air fills your lungs as you take in a deep breath and knock on the tall wood door, the soft yellow light from inside illuminating the porch through the stained glass. After a few moments, the door swings open and you’re greeted by the face of a white-haired demon, a scowl present on his expression as his intense lavender eyes scan you up and down. You clear your throat awkwardly with a smile. “Good evening, Yushiro. Is…Tamayo home?”
He stays silent for a moment, his eyes narrowing. “What do you want with her?”
“I just wanted her advice on something.”
“No.”
He starts to close the door before the aforementioned woman walks down the hall, stopping the door with her hand before it reaches the frame.
“Come on, now, Yushiro, let Y/N in.”
The annoyed man rolls his eyes with a flat expression, moving aside to let you enter. Despite your awareness of your friend being a demon, you were on good terms; you’d found out by complete accident, but it never changed the way you saw her. If anything, it made you like her more- that despite her instincts, she still chose to be gentle and kind, and wanted to help people by having a career that helps humans the most.
With Yushiro not wanting to give you the time of day, the two of you make your way into the living room, the both of you sitting cross-legged in front of a short table. Tamayo gazes at you warmly and tilts her head with a gentle smile. “What brings you here, Y/N? Is there something you came to see me for, or did you just drop in to say hi?”
“Well…I thought with your medical knowledge, you could help me figure out a problem I’ve been having. I just can’t figure out what it is for the life of me.”
“Of course.” She nods, concerned. “I’ll help you however I can.”
You sigh, gaze wandering around the room as you try to find the right words. “I guess…I’ve just been feeling both mentally and physically off. It’s hard to verbalize. I’ve been so irritable and annoyed at everything all the time, and I feel this…tightness in my body, like on the inside. Like there’s this knot being pulled harder and harder every day. I’m not sure what any of it means, or if my emotional and physical conditions even have anything to do with each other. I feel like they are, but…I don’t know…am I even making any sense?”
You look back up at the woman across the table to see her brows furrowed and compassionate violet eyes softened. “It seems this has really been distressing you, Y/N. Let’s move to my research room and I can examine you, if that’s alright.”
You nod, following her down the hall into what looks like a study; the walls were clad floor-to-ceiling in bookshelves, many of the titles suggesting the contents were medical textbooks. In the corner was a small twin-size bed next to a desk, a book already opened and a page about medicinal flowers on display. You sit down on the edge of the mattress as the doctor opens a drawer in the desk. She pulls out a plain white cloth mask and ties the string ends behind her head, before donning a latex glove on each hand. “You’ll have to forgive my formality. I trust you enough to tell you that I haven’t eaten in about a week, and being up close with a human would test my limits closer than what I’m comfortable with. I’d never hurt you, but this is for both your safety and mine.”
You blink in surprise and nod as your heartbeat quickens slightly. You trust her as well, but it’s truly donning on you that she really is a demon. She eats blood to survive. But the fact that she has enough self-reason to but a barrier between the two of you shows that she truly would never want to bring you any harm.
“Okay, you can lay on your back. Let me know if anything hurts or feels uncomfortable, alright?”
“Alright.” You follow her request, swinging your legs up and turning your body to lay supine on the bed, crossing your hands together behind your head and laying on them. Two delicate gloved fingers press onto your jugular vein, checking your pulse while you try to steady your breathing.
“Hm. A little fast, but nothing to worry about.” She continues moving her fingers down your neck and into the dip of your collar bone, examining your skin and lymph nodes with her fingertips. Gently and attentively, she kneads at the sensitive flesh, making your breath hitch. It almost felt…good.
Ghosting her hands lower, she looks into your eyes with an inquisitive look. “Would it be alright if I touched your breasts? We would need to remove your shirt if so.”
Your pulse quickens even more and you pray that she doesn’t check it again. You gulp and nod; it had been a long time since anyone had touched you there. Now that you thought about it…it had been a long time since anyone had touched you at all. Of course she’s a doctor and she’d be professional about it, but you can’t pry your thoughts away from the idea of such a beautiful woman touching you in an intimate area.
Sitting up so you can pull the shirt off your head, the brisk air of the room surrounds your exposed skin, making your nipples immediately harden. You can feel your cheeks heat up as you lay back down and look away while she begins to poke and prod at the malleable mounds. It wasn’t akin to a lover affectionately massaging them, but it certainly felt better than nothing. She lightly squeezes a nipple and you have to choke back a whimper, attempting to cover it up by pretending to clear your throat. She stops the movement and draws her hand away, her eyes moving back up to your face.
“I’m sorry, Y/N, does that hurt?”
You shake your head, the blush present on your cheeks betraying you as it only intensified. “No, no, sorry. It’s fine. It doesn’t hurt.”
“That’s good. From what I’ve already observed and examined of you, you seem fine to me. At this point, there’s only one solid conclusion I can make.”
“And that is…?”
She crosses her arms, blinking with her gaze wandering away from yours as she tries to put her diagnosis for you in a respectful way. “Sexual frustration. When one, especially a human, goes a long time without being…satisfied, it can result in emotional instability and psychosomatic symptoms.”
Your hands ball into fists as your body tenses, mortified at her words but realizing she was right. You’d gone ages without affection or activity of any kind and it was starting to chip away at you both mentally and physically. “I see. I feel embarrassed for coming here if that’s all it was. I’m sorry for wasting your time.”
You pick your shirt back up, intending to pull it on before she grabs your wrist and looks at you with that same kind and caring look. “Y/N…it’s my job to make sure my patients are at their healthiest and happiest. If you’d like my assistance, I’m willing to extend that offer to you.”
…huh?
You shake your head a bit as you close your eyes for a moment, trying to gather a coherent response. “I’m…not sure I understand.”
She gently removes the shirt from your hand, holding her own gloved hand in yours as she speaks in a reassuring yet slightly suggestive tone. “I know being pent up is not an enjoyable feeling. I can help alleviate that if you’d like my help satisfying you.”
You can feel the warmth from your face spreading down your body, your cunt starting to yearn for the demon in front of you as she suggests pleasuring you directly. “But…I thought you didn’t want to be too close to humans right now. Wouldn’t that…make it worse?”
“I’ll keep my mask and gloves on. It won’t be a problem.”
You stay completely still for a moment, wrapping your mind around the fact that this is real. “If…if you say so. Are you sure?”
She places a hand on your thigh closest to her, sliding it to the inner side and strokes gently with a thumb. A wave of electricity shoots up your spine as you take in a shaky inhale. She giggles with a soft sigh, pleased at your reaction. “Yes. I’m sure. Now let’s remove the rest of your clothes and I can get started.”
You pull down on your waistband, taking your bottoms and underwear off and placing them next to your shirt. You tremble a bit, nervously chewing on your cheek as your entire naked body is exposed before Tamayo. But if you were to have anyone see you like this, you would want it to be someone like her; a person you trusted wholeheartedly, and if you were honest with yourself…already attracted to. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t think your friend was easy on the eyes.
“It’s okay, Y/N. You can lay down again. Just relax and let me make you feel good, okay?” Her soft and soothing voice helped to calm you a bit as you once again move to the position you were in before, though this time with your knees bent and thighs parted. She could sense your nervousness as you shake and take deep breaths; she strokes your thigh and offers an affectionate look as her fingers slowly wander over to your clit, using her middle and ring fingers to press down and rub small circles onto the bud. “We’ll start off easy.”
You sigh with a whine as you lay your head back, closing your eyes and placing your hands on your stomach. “Good, that’s it, just relax,” she hums as she continues to work the muscle with her fingertips. You could immediately tell she knew what she was doing- not only because she had the same anatomy as you, but because she had extensive knowledge on how to please the right spots.
“H-harder…”
She complies with your request, pressing the two gloved fingers down harder and rubbing slightly faster. “Yeah, don’t be afraid to tell me what you like. I want to make sure this is a good experience for you.” You whine a bit louder, but try your best to swallow it down and bite it back on your lips before it comes out too loudly. “Hey, now, it’s alright. You don’t have to hold back on the noises you make. Just do what feels right. It’ll also help me to let me know what you enjoy.”
You nod meekly as you try your best to release the tension in your body, humming as you focused on her fingers skillfully working your bundle of nerves. She switches from circles to rubbing back and forth, pressing harder and making more of a kneading motion, and a wanton moan escapes your throat. “Fuck…”
“Oh, you like that?” She continues the same motions with her hand, now using her other one to insert two fingers into your entrance, easily sliding in from your eager pussy being so wet from her attention on your clit. You part your legs a bit more and moan again, reveling in the sensation of being filled by her slender fingers. While continuing the massaging of your clit, the fingers on her other hand curl upward on the inward strokes, pressing down on your g-spot. Your closed eyes roll and your jaw hangs slack, overwhelmed from the simultaneous pleasure.
“T…Tamayo…your hands…fuck, that feels good.”
She responds with a content hum, looking up at your blissful expression with adoration in her lilac eyes. “I’m glad. Would you like me to go faster?”
You vigorously nod, huffing. “Please, please.”
The woman giggles in reply as she speeds up the thrusts of her fingers into your cunt and the strokes on your clit, the combined sensations making the pitch and volume of your noises rise. You couldn’t stop the moans escaping your mouth as she continued to work you with her hands- she really knew how to please you and it felt unreal. You hadn’t known a loving, sexual touch in so long you’d forgotten what it felt like, but her skillful ministrations brought the love of the sensation flooding back into your mind and body. “I’m…I’m close…”
She increases the speed and pressure on both hands, the sound of obscene squelching filling the room as her fingers fucked and rubbed you without mercy. “Good, let it out, let it all out. Don’t worry about making a mess, I’ll take care of that.”
Your hazy mind takes in her words and finally you reach that high, your hips lifting off of the bed as your pussy tightens and releases, your hands desperately grasping at the sheets beneath you and your legs straightening and bending repeatedly. Even during your orgasm her motions don’t ease up, making everything feel so incredibly intense and mind-blowingly amazing.
With your hips meeting the bed once more and your breathing slowing down, her hands ease up eventually before slowing down. You exhale with a chuckle, in complete disbelief that just happened and you came that hard. She helps you sit up as you catch your breath before throwing her old gloves in the trash, putting on some new ones and stroking your back gently. “You did very well, Y/N. How do you feel?”
“I…wow. It…that was nice.”
“I’m glad you think so. I’m sorry that I couldn’t use my bare hands or my mouth to help you further.”
Your face heats up once again. “Y…your mouth?”
She smiles as she nods. “Indeed. If I’d had enough blood intake, I could have done more with you without these necessary barriers.”
You gulp and look away before looking back at her. “I mean…you can have some of my blood if you want.” You crane your neck to the side, heavy eyelids falling on her suggestively.
This time, she’s the one blushing.
“Do you…do you mean it?”

Could you please do a mitsuri x obanai x male reader when mitsuri and obanai died at the infinity castle?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OFC SHMOOKIMS ∩^ω^∩ !!!
(MAJOR INFINITY CASTLE ARC SPOILERS ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF MENTIONS OF BLOOD/MAJOR INJURIES!!!)
(also I didn’t really know if u meant in the infinity castle where yushiro did that little stunt with nakime or when they actually died so I went with them actually dying, if this wasn’t was u requested I’ll be happy to make a separate post!!)
(Females/fem-aligned r free to interact/read just pls don’t act weird and comment fetishizing stuff in my comments)
Tumblr media
Everything hurt.. everything… the feeling was absolutely unbearable.. but.. you had to push through.. for mitsuri.. for obanai.. for everyone..
You dragged yourself into an alley, one of muzans blows had hit you straight on the calf and now the entirety of it was gone. You bled everywhere, the burning sensation making you feel like you were on fire.
You ripped a part of your haori off, tying it above your knee to stop the bleeding. You then hoisted yourself up with the brick wall behind you, making the whole getting up process much easier.
You looked across from you only to see mitsuri and obanai, the two sharing a conversation which led Mitsuri to tears. You hated seeing your dear wife cry.. she was sensitive but to an extent..
You hopped on your working leg, making you look a bit goofy but it was whatever. “Y/N!!” Mitsuri yelled out happily, she was happy to see you but you saw in her eyes that she was in despair.
“Y/n.. you must take care of mitsuri while I battle muzan.. okay..? You two are in far worse conditions than me” you looked at obanai as if he had two heads. “You.. you can’t seriously be going out there to fight..! You must stay with us obanai!!” You now saw why mitsuri was crying as you felt warm tears drip down your cheeks.
“I.. I must make sure that muzan’s rain of terror comes to an end.. if I’m able to survive then I surely will come back to the both of you.. but for now you two must stay here with the kakushi” just as obanai was about to leave, you grabbed onto the sleeve of his haori.
“You can’t leave us obanai!! Please.. please don’t leave us..” you saw tears well up in obanai’s eyes, but he quickly blinked them away, gently ripping his sleeve away from you. “I’ll be back.. I promise you that” obanai took the hand he put your wedding ring on, giving it a loving kiss before he ran away.
You and mitsuri tried calling him back to no avail. He was going to defeat muzan and that was that. You held onto mitsuri as she cried into the crook of your neck.
You felt numb.. the pain you were experiencing was now (slightly) gone. You held mitsuri close to your chest, her ear connecting to your chest. Listening to the therapeutic beats of your heart.
You tilted your head to the right, watching as the night slowly turned into the morning. You no longer could hear the constant noise of muzan crazing into the ground/building as your brain was slowly shutting down, as if it was going to take a nap.
You then saw obanai make his way to you and mitsuri, your eyes wasted no time to start welling up with tears. “Obanai.. I’m so happy your back..” you quietly said, a smile grew on your face but was quickly shot down as you saw the state of obanai’s face.
“Obanai! Y-Your eyes!!” You wanted to move but you didn’t want to disturb mitsuri. “I’m fine my love.. are you and mitsuri okay..?” “Yes we are but.. her..” you paused for a bit, choking back tears “her heartbeat is slowing down..”
Obanai hummed, he felt around until his hand landed on yours. He then felt it up and down, wanting to cherish your touch. Kaburamaru slid onto obanai’s arm and began making his way to yours, his scales felt weird to say the least but you never made a big deal of them since you knew how much obanai’s snake meant to him.
Kaburamaru then perched himself around your neck, as if he was trying to give you a big hug (he wasn’t choking you or anything but he was applying a bit of pressure on your neck). You sniffled softly as you then grabbed obanai by the arm and pulled him into a tight hug with mitsuri in the middle.
“Ah… obanai.. your back..” mitsuris eyes fluttered open as she took in his once beautiful face. “Oh my.. obanai..” you saw tears prickling mitsuris eyes, she wanted to hold obanai’s face so bad.. but she couldn’t.
Obanai then took off his haori, draping it over mitsuris poor, cold body. “What a gentleman..” you chuckled as you then transferred mitsuri into iguro’s arms. Letting him be able to hold his love.
He couldn’t see her, but she knew that she was being looked down in love by the snake hashira. “Ah.. I don’t feel any pain so.. I guess I’m dying..” you saw the sparkle in mitsuris eyes slowly dull down.
“I’ll probably die soon too. You’re not alone” obanai held mitsuri closer, her head now pressing against his chest. “No.. don’t die yet.. I’m sorry I wasn’t much use in the fight..” mitsuri then began to cry once more.
“Don’t say that mitsuri..! You definitely did damage to that rotten man, your actions will go down in history..” y/n wrapped his arms around obanai’s and mitsuri. Embracing them in a tight, long hug.
“Please.. don’t leave me.. you two..” you sobbed silently with your head pressed against the middle of iguro’s chest. “Please y/n.. live your life as long as you can.. we may be gone, but remember that we’re always with you..” obanai started. “Yes n/n.. you must live and love without us.. but you’ll be fine.. when we are reborn.. we can all be together.. hand in hand.. and love once more..” Mitsuri said through choked sobbed.
You all held onto each other tightly, until the kakushi came around the corner and finally assisted you.
But when you tried removing yourself from obanai’s grip, you found yourself stuck. Turns out, his grip on you was so tight you ended up with a deep, dark bruise on your waist.
extra ending cs I’m feeling nice (*^ω^*)
You worked with your wife in the kitchen of your brand new diner you, your wife and husband had opened. You three could finally live in completion..
“Ah! It’s.. uh.. OH!! YOSHITERU!!” You called out to the boy across the street. His attention shifted to you, the glint already in his eyes glowing bigger.
“Wanna come over here and have a quick snack before school!?” You called out once more, just as he was about to answer, his face contorted into one of fear. Before he quickly shook his head and quickened his pace towards his school.
“Hm? Why’d he turn down the offer? He always gets a quick bite before going to school!” Mitsuri sounded quite sad, “do you know why he left iguro?” You saw your husband jump a bit before turning around and shaking his head, a bead of sweat slowly running down his temple.

Request: Yushiro x male ENTP Reader
Format: I'd like a mix of headcanons and short fic, if possible
Lady Tamayo gets a new demon assistant (y/n); a grinning trickster who seldom takes anything seriously and often uses his blood demon art to mess around. This infuriates Yushiro, who doesn't understand why Tamayo even keeps y/n around. And why on earth does he have to complete tasks and go on errands with him?! Yushiro was doing fine on his own, thank you very much.
However, as he gets to know y/n better through work, Yushiro realizes the two actually have a lot in common. Y/n lived a normal life with a family who loved him until he fell terminally ill. Tamayo offered to turn him into a demon, an offer y/n accepted. However, his family didn't accept the change and attempted to murder y/n, no longer seeing him as a member of their family. With nobody to turn to, y/n attached himself to Tamayo.
Yushiro and y/n grow closer, and after Tamayo's death, retire to live a peaceful life together.
Hello, hello,
I want to express a genuine thank you for your requestion, and initiate a sincere, sincere apology. Your request, well, it became a little derailed from what you asked for. It just screamed, Cheshire Cat, and I sort of... made an OC of you/your request. One that I do intend to visit in future shorts for Yushiro, but none the less, I sincerely hope you can forgive this. I am sincerely sorry Anon, I hope you are still able to enjoy this, and it isn't too far removed from your request.
The Secret Life of Chachamaru
Word Count: 6062
Setting: Yushiro x male!reader
Content Warning(s): malexmale, yaoi, Chachamaru AU (possibly a little out of character for the beloved feline character), character is actually Chachamaru, a little rushed, SFW, mentions of gore, small spoilers for Yushiro + Tamayo in the Infinity Castle/Sunrise Countdown Arc. mentions of sickness, depictions of lead poisoning
Summary: following the fall of the infinity castle, and the triumph of slayers over demons, Yushiro is left to face the loss of Lady Tamayo. Muddled, smeared with blood and gore, it is only through the comfort of his old friend Chachamaru that can ease his burdens, and allow him to look to the future.
A/N: I placed the reader to be born towards the end of the Edo Era, but just younger than Yushiro as I wanted for Yushiro and Tamayo to have an established bond.

You could feel the touch of his calloused fingers. Cracked, and broken skin that remained gentle and warm despite the number of fine lines and abrasions that lined his palms. The dried flecks of onyx blacks and oxidized browns clung to his fingertips, blood buried beneath his nails. The faint scent of sandalwood laced in the gore that littered his clothing.
Horror touched upon the flesh of his hands; brain matter strewn to the linens of his clothing. Draped across the lines of an unfamiliar uniform, a sad attempt at masking his nature. The heaviness of his eyelashes burdened, as the small touches of devastation touched the edge of his eyelashes. Drawn downwards as delicate lavender eyes trembled as his fingertips gently traced the orange patch across your forehead. In all the ways you preferred, years of training petting techniques into the demon before you evident in the way his body submitted to autopilot. Delicately allowed his fingers to trail along the pink of your nose at the quiver of his bottom lip and the hitch of his lower lashes. Naturally evaluating the care of his beloved companion. Pained by the state of his beloved Chachamaru held between his hands, mangled, and marred. The devastation of your state, a righteous blow to your pride though the smallest part of you enjoyed the obvious concern it elicited from the stoic man.  He had worried for you, of course he had. Faintly responding to the blink of your golden eyes as you peered into his moonlight kissed features. The touch of pink of his own nose, rubbed raw in his state of misery. The bags that had accumulated beneath elegant orchid eyes, aware of the rattle of his shoulders, and the tightness of his breath hitched at the ache of his breast. Yushiro’s snivel caught, choked back as he forced the corner of his lips to curl. Delicate, and soft as he regarded the touch of your fur, luscious despite the circumstances of your body. Far too engrossed in the gesture to acknowledge the way your large ambered eyes followed the smallest of his movements. Committing this moment to memory, his movements detailed, and evaluated. The way your heart ached as his fingers tipped strolled through the high of your right cheek, delicately traced the orange patch tenderly allowing his finger to trace from your tear duct danced across the top lashes of your left eye.
              Faint in this touch, careful to remove the debris that had gathered across your features. The rubble that clung to your whiskers dragged across your sensitive sinus. Snapped at your buccal cavity through your nostrils. Throbbing drenched in blood, sweat, and gray matter. The dirt that had clutched to the ends of your fur, muddied the whites of your pelt, an infringement of the beauty of your coat. Bits of gravel snagged into your ear tufts, agitating the pinna. The delicate way his fingers ticked across your features, sensitive of the abrasions that littered your state proof of your valor. Though the sentiment did not seem an act of brilliance to the man who stroked your cheek sweetly. The ache of his heart danced upon his fingers, eliciting the faintest of purrs from your soul. Warm, he was always so warm. Rubble between your eyes, traced upon your nose. A favored place in the last two decades often sought by Yushiro to nuzzle against “Chachamaru” during times of stress such as the mid of day hidden amongst the shadows when his sprawled talisman had grown slappy. When exhaustion would cling to his features, akin to a security blanket. Though in this moment there was no usual sign of the clip of his brow. Nor were his eyebrows drawn, and his lips did not pucker into a scowl. Rather, a tremble stimulated his expression, strangled. Twisted from the tight expression a vague recollection of the times in which he had to entertain the public at the clinic. Yet, this was… different. Mournful. An… expected display vulnerable despite the wandering eyes of kakushi at his side. The rare expression without fear of exposure as his smile faltered, and the tears begin to gather at the corner of his sharp eyes. Chocked back the bitter vile upon his expression that pained your heart in its silence. The tender regard as his hands caressed your heart, allowing extra attention to tracing circles at the corners at your large feline ears. Such intimate care is usually offered in the silence of night, at the flip of a page as his warm voice echoes in your ears. Enticed you to take advantage of circumstances, beckoned you to curl into his lap. “C-C-Chach,” his voice cracked. Ached as it struggled and rumbled beneath his breath as he fought for the words pressed between the sobs that threatened to spill through the cracks in his pride. Anguished to hold his composure through the rattle of his bones with each tight breath as his fingers relentlessly traced circles to the edges of your right ear. The familiar gesture, comforting and poignant, “a-amaru, L-Lady,”.
              You knew.
              The rattle of your own bones, the clutch upon your skull at the moment of her death, rattled as though claws had dug into the pits of your temples, wracked and harvested the essence of thought. Sunk to the pit of your stomach, you knew, and yet, yet in his consideration, Yushiro pressed as though a shattered being that endeavored to consoling a child. To hear him this way. Broken, and battered amongst the wreckage of the Infinity Castle. Topsoil exposed to the surface; bedrock shattered across the carnage. The scent of death that clung to the air, crumbled beams, and exposed wood. Sundered from its security, secrets exposed at the loss of their beams, craftsman, and paper shattered and torn from the layers of sediment. A testament to Yushiro’s will, to his rage. A testimony of his love for the mistress of his strength. The escape of rodents, and the fleeing of insects that sought suffrage. The lull of their security robbed and devastated as the demon who was renowned for his lethal tongue’s armor disintegrated before your eyes. The sharp of his canine devouring his bottom lip as he fought for the words that could not rise in his throat. Salt that poured from his cheeks and choked to his shoulders. Yet, yet he continued to allow the delicacy of his fingers to work their nostalgic comforts at the edge of your ear. The hollow of your breast touched upon the kindness Yushiro expressed despite the shattered emblems of the life he had known littered his features. The medically trained illusionist before you delicate as he worked to assist your regeneration. The crack of your four paws beneath the attachment of your severed head. The blood that trickled from your fur ached across the curve of your spine. The tingle of nerves realigned, and splintered bones that formed callous. Joints that caught to the clip of your skull as you regarded the roll of his tears.
              The comfort of his fingers, and the delicate scent of saffron. Nostalgic, and vulnerable so alike and yet unfamiliar. A shattered husk of, and yet, he continued to rub his fingers. Mask the horrors of loss and devastation. Ached at the touch of his fingers as they danced across your patterned fur. Delicate as the day you had met him.
              The comfort of his fingers, and the delicate scent of saffron. Nostalgic, and vulnerable, so alike and yet unfamiliar to the man. A shattered husk, and yet, the rub of his fingers masked the horrors of loss and devastation. Ached at the touch of his fingers as they danced across your pattered fur. Delicate as the day you had met him.
The candles flickered, casting shadows across papered doors. Danced and dwindled, captives of the stagnant. Their flame stifled to the close quarters and clutched its luminosity. Threatened to snub its light from existence. Shadows that appeared hollow against the shoji, robbed of their salvo. Their once joyful illumination forced them into small rooms. Stuffy and stripped of ventilation coerced into silence by doctors and white cloths.   Ghosts of laughter, and shadow puppets lost against the grain of the exposed beams. Incenses to mask the sickness, that dripped into the fabric of your linens stripped from silk. Stale and clothed in antiseptic that burned the senses. The air dripped amongst medical sutras, tainted with intentions. Stark against your sensitive, rubbed raw and denied of familiar comforts, friendly attendants, and the sheltered security of your former quarters. Loneliness bathed in the confines of an inner sanctum of your family estate.
              Memories of a former life haunted the ebbs of fraying ends of your recollections. A time when you were playful, age had little meaning. One so free to explore, unbound by poverty, and bathed in riches. A family title for you alone to claim for the future, a wash in the confines of your quarters now. Back then, it was the movement of your name, the purpose of your birth. The benefactor of your freedom, petals of a camellia to frolic amongst abandoned lessons. The shadows of trees conceal your midday naps of deserted duties. Grand heists of robbed pastries, and angry chefs. Scandalized maids at attempts to parachute from the rooftops past the security of the castle walls, an adventure elicited from the tales of western men in ridiculous outfits and dipped in foreign language. Dolls crafted from the finest of silks intended dull the boredom of instructor, the one such time tucked into your bedding to take your place in the dead of night when your heart desired to gaze upon the stars at the festival of commoners past the trenches of your home. Pieces of sword play that decorated the callous of your palms, the rage of retainers that struggled to navigate your natural pension for footwork, and the expiration of your lazy swings. An insult upon their pride, the bellow of laughter it would draw from your father, languid strokes that were reminiscent of kabuki performances your nursemaid Haya had accompanied you to many times. Days spent wreaking havoc upon her mundane days, the only woman who dared to accompany your antics with a lecture of manners and etiquette. The only confidant who dared to share the confines of the innermost sanctum. Subjecting herself to the risk of infection or the curse that threatened to diminish the household.
 The memories of the caretaker she had been so many years ago dipped into the linens of a basin. The distinct drips of water that echoed amongst the stifling hush of the space. Her long fingers posed, the tales of age in her movements. Fine lines that had begun to wave to faint colors as the fingers wrangled the linen. The faintest of white marred flesh caught the back of her left hand, a scar she had received so many years ago. When you were playful, when you roamed rooms heedless of the décor. A physical a testament to the loyalties she bore for you though you were far too young to understand the significance of a woman disfiguring herself on your behalf.
              Fought the confusion of the phantom that slipped into her place. Recollections of a woman with chestnut hair who had yet to be claimed by time. Her features that dared to coincide with the older woman before you now. The touch of a lavish hair pin that bound grayed hair unlike the one the younger illusion bore. Far more detailed, delicate, and weaved. Far more cared for than the ghost of the past’s simplistic design that reflected war of abuse. Muddled, and tugged on the lines of memories you struggled to place together. The hazy reflection is a mere mockery of your current state. Joy robbed from your lungs and sank to the pit of your stomach. Ached and dower, the nausea pooled at the strong odors that fanned every corner of the room. Gargled sickness that met the coolness of the cloth at your back.  An old figure of Haya, who’s mouth did not budge from its sedative state attempted to rub the fatigue from your form. A cusp of who you had once been, no longer capable of bearing your own weight, let alone a blade.  A mere rasp of breath that trembled your form as her fingers now well practiced at bearing your weight and the task at hand.  Haya’s eyes as poised as they had always been despite the white lines that had touched at the corner of your eyes. The draw of your brow as you struggled to understand when the woman had grayed. The touches of frustration that caught your consciousness. Only growing more present as she tended to the shell of a child incapable of tending to itself. Robbed of life, hostage by an unknown illness. Far more victimized than you dared to admit, more than Haya would dare to coddle.
              Days of illness that claimed the weight of your muscles. Husked your consciousness and rattled your gastric. How quickly the symptoms had claimed your entire being. How quickly you had succumbed to the loss of appetite, how quickly your body yielded its abilities, and gave way. Days that had succumbed to weeks, weeks that drew your conscious, and slipped into months that robbed you of prior capabilities, before giving way to years that locked you deep into the center of your home. A plague locked away from fear of exposure, oblivious to how long it had been since Haya had sworn herself to your service. Of the dangers she exposed herself to time and time again to care for you. That remained dedicated to your education despite the unfamiliar touch of tomes between her fingers. Wielded a paintbrush when the weight became far too much for your fingers to bare, delivered notes from child to mother in the dead of night even when the responses had begun to fade. Continued to show though the remainder of the castle had since grown silent and bid reasoning when your mother’s presence slipped between your fingers. Continued to share news of the state of affairs at your request, even when it decimated her heart to share the news of a child when all hopes of an heir had passed with your confinement.
              A topic Haya had not approached with the same enthusiasm as you, much to your disapproval. The fade of her hair appearing even more faded from her features. Soured at the line that drew to her lips as your voice trembled despite itself. The condition of welcoming a child having claimed what remained of her own health, and naturally the return of your letters. Quickly seize the moment to her dismay, the traces of the child she had cared for throughout the years reflected in your timing, “How is mother?”
              “Young master, please save your voice,” she hummed. The touch of dryness and hesitation posed on her tongue.
              “H-haya,” you weakly mewed, “h-has she been unbale to eat?”
              Silence pressed between the knot of cloth rolled in circles that cusped at your rigid shoulder blades. “It is to be expected. Childbearing claims a toll, all is well.” Clueless of the twitch of her right nostril, or the way your large eyes caught the tale of her fib pressed into her cheek.
              “Mushrooms, s-send” you rasped with each breath. Unmet with a response to your words just as stern of the bath cloth that rubbed at your sweated state weak against her hold. “send, the merchant. T-Taka? Tama? H-he knows how to find mushrooms. I-in the mountains.” Struggled pieces of memories, touched upon years of stark air at the wiggle of your eyebrow. “D-dango. Mother is fond of the dango sold by the stationer. W-we could go—”
              “YOU will do no such thing,” stern and frigid. Quick to catch the threads of your strategy. The shatter of glass that touched upon the cool of winter, and the howl of the estate’s roof tarnished against your will. Haya always had a talent for detecting the touch of defiance, and in your fragile state, she had become especially gifted in sniffing out antics. Far harsher in her reprimands than she had been so many years ago, quick to anchor you to this sorry state of existence. Shacked to the confines of your room, her eyes as sharp as any blade you had ever been capable of drawing as she depicted the fine lines of your imprisonment. Her steady hands making quick work of the fresh linens, secured the corrupt discards into the folds of a basket. The faintest of tremble in her routine eager to leave your side. The realization drawing bitter contempt in the pit of your stomach and a scowl upon your brow. The grit of your teeth as the handmaid’s expression mirrored your own. Firm, and unyielding as the winter night save for the break of a soft sigh as she drew herself to her feet. The hem of her faded kimono barely in sight. An oddity form her usual cared for state. The small touches of rayed ends, perhaps the result of her old age as her thin frame leaned forward just enough to cusp the thick of your bangs. Her hand far smaller than you could recall, gently rustled through the strands. A pressed smile in her tone, “Lord [YN], sweet child, your mother… requires rest. As do you, please. Understand.” Her fingers drew the softest of circler motions from the arch of your nose to your forehead before falling to your ear. Just as she had done in your toddling years, how she would sooth the tears from your eyes so long ago. Though the gesture was delicate, you could not fight the sense of abandonment. The wound of pride that refused to settle upon your brow, rejecting her gaze. The track of the door sliding behind her, and signaling that once again.
              You were alone.
              Left only with the company of gossip that seeped through the cracks. Rumored that passed from maid to maid in the depths of the sanctum. Dipped from view and believed from ear shot. How long had it been that you had been confined to such an existence, that not even the help did not remember your presence? All evidence of their praise, of their longing for approval washed from the estate, and identified by loose tongues. Fearless of reprimand the bitter understanding of how far you had fallen from esteem. Forced reclusion, holding little more cards than a fallen daimyo.  Uttered whispers of an early arrival, uttered about a frail creature. The tolls of labor that had taken far more than expected by the physician, the lady of the estate in duress. Utterances of the shame of the fall of the young master, accusations of a curse that had befallen the Head of the Household. Damned to lose those he cared for, and the tug of your fingers at the collar of your nemaki.
Your lungs burned I the dead of the night, struggled to heave in the frigid air. Muscles strained from unfamiliar exhaustion. Unaccustomed to roaming as it once had freely, the heave of your shoulders pressed against the mon. The structure lavishes, and commanding. Far more than enough to conceal your state of fatigue. The rare state of peace drawing lazy shuffles of guards, unbothered by the dark corners of the estate in which you begged for air. The dark of the night, and the faint touches of the moonlight as you struggled to manage on your feet.  The pads of your feet ached against the stone walkway. The tips of your toes screaming in agony as you forced your skeleton forward. Winter rattled against your bones, the hakama you had worn so many years before the fateful day you had been confined to forgotten quarters. Snug against your hips, the difference in your height inevitable, the cut of the fabric no longer bearing resemblance of a proper hakama attire befitting of a firstborn son of the samurai class. Rather, resembling a jinbei of the lower classes hiked just above your knee exposing you to the crushing winds of winter. The snow beneath your feet crunched painfully with each step you forced at the rasp of your lungs. Exhaustion threatening to crush your resolve as your grasp on memories begun to dwindle. Having exhausted recollections through your navigation of former escape attempts had faded into the present of the day, distorted and confused at the shift of buildings. Taller than you remembered, new? No, maybe? The turn of your head struggled and rasped slow to comprehend the shift of your surroundings as your form folded into the snow. The light slipping from your eyelashes.
He had found you back then. Face dug into the snow, practically frozen, and struggling for air. Younger back then than he was now, and unaccustomed to medical practices. Left only with the uncertainty of bearing your weight upon his back to seek assistance from his mistress. Why, you had never thought to ask. Though when you had come to grasp the scent of calendula. Sweet and floral notes that clung to the fingers that adjusted the cloth upon your brow. The unusual scent, and the warmth of youthful fingers. How long had it been? The joy of company, of one your age drawing you to clasp his hand in the dwindle of candlelight. Forgoing practiced manners as you cupped his hand to your cheek, to savor it for just a moment, clueless to the grin you bore, or the horror the response had elicited in your savior. Brought only to realization to the way he howled to his lady’s aid though it prevented very little of your own complaint as you attempted to lean upon his retreat. Beckon for just a moment longer pressing further even though he had anchored his padded sock to your cheek to ensure distance between the two of you. The slew of insults he had yowled to the beams, to the floorboards as you had attempted to pursue his company.
              You, you had been so naïve back then. Youthful, and naïve, or perhaps, it was your optimism that had led you a stray. The desperate attempt to cling to mortality though Lady Tamayo’s diagnosis had confirmed the worst. Her offer to extend your life through her own force was enticing. The opportunity to live once more amongst the household. To greet your father in practice swordsmanship, to earn his praise once more at the dip of your quick toes. Her vitality uttered in the dark out of Yushiro’s ears, quick to wash his hands of you after such close contact, had brought back more energy than you could have dreamed. Ensure the return of the son. Of playfulness, of laughter, and of joy. Of mischief that danced upon the gardens. To deliver the sweet treasures from town for your mother, to bright up her existence once more. TO return her appetite to her side, to meet the child she had born. To know its name, to greet its first smile, and to witness its wandering amongst the corridors as you had once done. It was all so… wistful than what had happened. Your return, a phantom of what you had once been—Lady Tamayo had warned you. She had expressed your life was tied with her own. A mere figment of the child you had been, The consequences of your return marred as possession. A baneneko amongst the gardens a manifestation of the curse that had claimed the first-born child. A mocker of his form, adorned with cat ears, and flickered hair that had been dyed orange in the candlelight when you had accepted Lady Tamayo’s grace. The crass of your once black hair, bordered into the paleness of phantoms, struggling to comprehend why your mother had screamed upon the sight of feline features born upon her child. How she had clutched an infant to her breast, mournful rattle of curses for the child she had lost.
              The explanation had died upon your lips, the shatter of priceless vases shattered amongst the pillage of her room. Desperately seeking to defend the child at her breast. The maids that had elicited hushed horrors. Shattered the waters of your return and stripped away the illusion you had fed yourself after so many years. The scuffle of retainers, bound by ropes and akin to the blade of your father.  Haya’s scream, All of it, was a blur. A faint figment of a past you had fled in the night hours, scrapped from the approach of dawn,  your exhaustion or perhaps, the trauma had resorted you to the state Tamayo had warned. Submitted to four paws once more, and collapsed into the snow. Found only by your mistress, and her attendant. The careful hold he had met you with back then. So tender, and considerate. How bitterly he had sworn curses at those who would leave scars upon such a beautiful creature, and the lower of Tamayo’s eyes. Her silence regretful, and to bear the responsibility for your loss. For your life, the slips she had allowed. Offered to tend to you, regain your form, and carry the weight of your burdens. Though, you did not hold her to such a claim. Rather, you submitted to her side. Accompanied the duties amongst the sunlight as her familiar that she could not bear. Delighted in Yushiro’s care when your words could not emerge. Days confined from daylight to be spoiled in his care,
              When your form had greeted you once more, you hadn’t the forethought to consider how it would impact your relationship. Rather upon your return to his side, you had been quick to fall into old habits despite the way his horrified reaction had met your ears. Confused at the grabby, death bound boy he had met so many years ago defying the odds at he flicker of a cat’s ear as he dared to force yourself upon him once more. Some part of you enjoyed the touch of horror in the pitch of his voice and sought to keep what he knew as Chachamaru separate than your state. Rummaged havoc upon a clinic, free to go as you pleased, held together by Lady Tamayo’s silence, and the adorable way the scowl drew upon the spell weaver’s face at your antics. Misplaced bottles, touches of flipped books, targeted customers that dared to press further than they should. Seized upon the opportunity to test a younger man’s will, utilizing abilities to slip from view.  Free to shatter the peace of the night clinic, delighted to shoo away ungrateful inquiries.  Delighted in the uttered antics that Yushiro would confine in Chachamaru of the wanderer who drew his ire, oblivious way his lips would betray the ghost of a smile.
Yes, long ago, you had made the choice to keep the two separate. To delight in the joys of your life as you once had, to return upon mission in the dead of night at his side. To ensure his comfort, to ensure his warmth, and when Lady Tamayo had offered a more… permanent arrangement, all too aware of what fate awaited her. You had accepted without much consideration. The chance to remain at his side. To stay within his touch. You told yourself that if it was Yushiro’s desires, you would live the remainder of existence as Chachamaru To submit yourself to a life upon all fours, to relinquish the freedom of your form. To chain yourself to an existence as a mere condolence of his loss, of Lady Tamayo’s care. You had accepted the terms, though she had never damned you to such a fate. Take care of each other, she had whispered leaving no implications of what such destiny entailed.
              It had been so much easier to bound yourself to such conditions.
              Until the tears slipped from his eyelashes. As the snot caught upon the top of his lip,  and his eyebrows quacked as though he were a small child that desperately missed the comfort of his mother’s sleeves. The rattle of his bones that robbed you of your own breath. The witness of his stat, mournful and destroyed. Confined to a fate he had not agreed to. Alone. Confined to the light of the moon, kept locked away from the presence of day. From people. From warmth, from comfort. From the touch of another, no such creature to remain at his time to catch the tears that spilled from his cheeks as Yushiro’s forehead met your own.
              The quiver of his brow struggling to comprehend the shift in form. The weight upon his lap, and the arms that enveloped him within their hold. Caught upon the back of his head. Attempting to sooth the ends of his hair as though consoling a small child. The flutter of his eyelashes, caught between his tears. The wordless acceptance of a troublemaker’s presence drifted from Chachamaru’s place that regarded his loss with delicate understanding. The unsure flip of your ears to pinion against your head as your gold eyes gazed upon his. The bit of his lip, fumbled into his heart. Grasped at the situation, smart as he has always been. The relief that followed at the ache of his breast that trembled within your hold. Relinquishing his weight into your arms as the depths of his despair became your own, the soft way he whispered your name into your neck as the tears met your skin, allowing you to embrace hm as you had attempted so many times throughout the year. His breath to become your own in the dwindling of the night, drifted into eternity.
A few Yushiro+ SFW Relationship Headcanons with a ENTP Male!Reader
An unexpected relationship that one would struggle to understand. Though with patience and time I mean you have more than enough of that. It’s a relationship that can bear wonderful results.
Where Yushiro hesitates, you are bod. Where he is practical, you are adventurous.
In a mutual relationship where respect and trust has properly been cultivated, communication will never be a problem between the two of you.
You will find that in many ways, you think alike.
And while Yushiro is more often than not detailed oriented, he finds your ability to adjust to the big picture a comfort that can help him to release his clutches on your existence.
In doing so, you are the answer to a happy future for Yushiro, one in which he is less bound than he would otherwise have suspected. One in which his paintings of the late Lady Tamayo are not held in anguish, but in faint recollections in the clip of your large eyes.
Reminiscent of her own. The way small little bit s of herself have been adorned into your existence both as Chachamaru and bled into your own habits. The way you hold your chopsticks as you ponder something he had whispered over dinner. Thoughtful at the way you gnaw at the tip of the utensils. A small pout as you do so.
Little traces of her slipped into your existence the result of your lives having once been bond together.
You help him to remember her, to touch upon her existence, but at the same time, you are not her, and as such, it can come up from time to time how he regards you. Often times more stiffly than he should, far too willing to offer a hand in walking as a means to assist your navigation of paths. Just as he used to for his lady. The immediate abrasion of those who would dare to greet you pushed back at a bitter tongue, just as he used to do for her.
Oblivious to how you desire engagement. The opportunity to socialize amongst the night streets with curious passerby who are intrigued by your “cosplay”.
The realization often sends a bitter wave through your core, and results in a level of push back. It is an unintentional source of conflict in your relationship.
Though you may wish to snap at him from time to time, irritability can at times be a part of your personality, it is not something that should be approached harshly. Yushiro’s own temper can get the better of him more than not, and you will end up in quite the lover’s spat if you allow your tongue to lash out.
Rather, the issues of your connection with the deceased bleeding into your relationship should be addressed with appropriate discussions. A level approach in which you lean upon his logical thinking will land far better than asking him to consider your perspective. You are not Tamayo hurts, but it’s impactful.
Though Yushiro is a meticulous individual, you may also find yourself frustrated from time to time at the speed in which his brain works, and how quick he is to dive onto topics at hand—I mean you’re already fighting, now seems like a reasonable time to draw up all grievances and air them out.
Though I know it can be difficult in the light of day, be sure to allow each other as much space as you possibly can. It will certainly be easier in the depths of night. He will not fight your escape through the window to the roof, nor to the neighborhood night market to banter with grocers or enjoy visiting a noisy bar. So long as you understand that during your escape, he has claimed your home to give himself time to proceed with the fight.
The reality is that you two are in many ways different than one another in terms of how you process information, feelings, and your environment, and it will require a bit of patient to fine iron each other’s quirks. It WILL require give and take.
Yushiro is dedicated to preserving his relationship, but he also has a tendency to believe he is right, and often unbudging. He will not yield easily, and the bright side is that you do not have the tendency to take things to heart.
You would have to learn to savor moments huddled into one another on a night in, and other times, Yushiro will have to swallow his pride, and allow you to parade him through a night festival and delight in where you will lead him. Which, he is far more willing to follow where you lead if you allow his trust to properly bloom.
He requires consistency and reliability.
If you allow yourself to be as flighty as your heart often claims, you will find the progression of your relationship not only rocky, but incapable of submerging.  Though understand, he has no desire to change the manners in which you approach life—he is adjusted to the usual antics you depict, and your habits to be carried away with the wind.
He wouldn’t change it by any means.
Yushiro secretly delights in the comfort of time alone from time to time, but finds reassurance that some things never changes.
There is no need for excuse, nor a verbal sparring match.
Just. Leave. A. Note.
It’s really that simple.
I can imagine you utilizing the ability to shift into your Chachamaru form more often than you should-- especially when you realize that it is a near instant win in arguments. shame on you.
More so, I can imagine that this revert form is often a great way for you to save energy, and so I can imagine that you find yourself in this form when you are feeling fatigued, or sick.
Imagine Yushiro taking care of your little fever and whiskers.
He takes satisfaction in rubbing your ears just as he used to. More so, he can see the way you still lean into his touch when his fingers graze by your right ear. Putty in his hands, and it's the familiarity of the gesture that has him petting you (cat form or not) more than he is willing to ever confess.
He melts when you take him to a night cat cafe. Though he will never openly admit how happy he is. Such inquiries are sure to elicit a dower mouth pucker, but you are far aware that the kittens in his arm, clung to his pants, and resting upon his head are proof that he is enjoying himself.
Though part of you is jealous that others are cuddled up against him.
Don't be. Yushiro is a dedicated man, not that you need to be told. He takes his commitments very seriously, and with Lady Tamayo's approval of him to remain at your side, as the last piece of her that roams this earth, he is bound to you. His heart will never stray.
The worst you will have to prepare for is the doting I mentioned earlier.

❄︎POV
Yushiro has sworn his loyalty to Tamayo and had loved her for more than Hundred of years, But the time seems to stop when One day Tamayo had bought a kid at the age of A year, thin (H/C) haired.
"Tamayo-Sama, Why do you have a brat with you?" Yushiro asked in an rage voice,
One because if she did get preg he doesn't mind his just angry because she didn't tell him-
Two If it's not her what so special with it?
Three mostly THAT BRAT WILL RUIN THEY'RE TIME :))
"Yushiro, It's A Baby not a Brat. And mostly because I was just walking when I noticed this baby in the alley, It has a diffrent Heart beat, Along with its aura" Tamayo said, Tamayo looked down at the Baby who looked at her before it giggled. Tamayo almost has tears pricking in her eyes as she remembers her own child she had killed.
"But Tamayo-Sama-" Yushiro tried to protect their alone time but it seems that he's been shut down by yours truly Tamayo goddess.
"Yushiro, She's just a baby, She needs someone who can take care of her till she can fight her own." Tamayo said, She carefully brushed the little girl's face before she felt something.
Frezzing on his spot as he notice how Tamayo look at the little baby girl with shock widening eyes.
"Tamayo-Sama?" Yushiro called out at the female, The female fliched and looked at Yushiro dead in the eyes.
"Yushiro, This child.. I was wrong.." Tamayo said, she looked at the ground and hugged the little baby closely with protectiveness, Ofcourse Yushiro doesn't give a fudge but was happy that Tamayo was GONNA agree with him. Before he could talk Tamayo said in her crying voice, "Let's Protect this child.. I was wrong..She doesn't have a heart....".
Everything and Anything he could do for Tamayo I mean he is simping for over 200 years-

3 Years Later
(Y/N)'s 3yrs old ok?
"(Y/N)! Come here" Tamayo's voice can be heard in the hallway.
A little girl with (H/C) and (H/L) run down the hallway and to the person who called her, She smiled brightly as she see her Adopted Mom and Big Brother figure stood there.
"Yes Okaasan?" She looked up at her Adopted Mother with those semi smile with a little broken teeth in the side, Tamayo chuckled at the cuteness and patted her Adopted Child's head.
"We're gonna go to town, Do you wanna go?" Tamayo ask, The little girl took a glance at her brother figure to see him staring at her adoptive mom. (Y/N) shook her head variously as an answer, Tamayo and Yushiro are worried that the little girl's head can be a ball now.
"No! I wanna go try to draw the one I read last week!" (Y/N) said, She rushed to Yushiro with Determination, "Yushi-Niisan! Protect Okaasan out there ok? Onii-San is strong!" Innocent (Y/N) said as her eyes sparkled, Yushiro appreciated the little girl but was too tired to take in her hyperactiveness.
"Tch! Ofcourse I will, Tamayo-Sama is not alone" Yushiro said as he put his hands on his hips being proud.
Tamayo watched from afar as her Assistant and Adopted Daughter going on very well this pass few years, She wished she never had that sickness so she would have never Him and.. She sigh as she called out to Yushiro and made there way out the house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Y/N) was spacing out often, She keep thinking, Ever since she turned 13 she slowly realize that.... She couldn't see Yushiro as a brother anymore, She has this feeling of warmth everytime she noticed how worried Yoshiro was for her, but she think it was forbidden as she was only 13 years old and Yushiro and Tamayo? Yeah she doesn't want to interfere to that. She knows that Yushiro was inlove with her adoptive Mother but to think that she would fall in love in just one sided.
"/N)?"
It's crazy to think that (Y/N) herself would fall in love even if she doesn't have a heart, She doesn't even know why she survive.
"(Y/N)!" A voice called out
"Huh?"
(Y/N) shook her head and out of her daze to feel two hands on her sholder and a worried expression infront of her, Those hands and expressions was no other than him himself, Her one-sided love one. Yushiro.
"You keep dozing out lately, Are you sure you're ok?"
Those worried voice and expression written to his face, She hate it.. SHE HATE IT ALL. What's the reason to fall inlove when (Y/N) herself doesn't even feel her own heart?!
"Im fine" (Y/N) said in a distant voice, Yushiro was suprise and cut off guard but so those (Y/N), She didn't even know why she was being like this.
"(Y/N) Im here, So tell me what's your problem-" Yushiro said but was cut off guard once again as he saw (Y/N) suddenly standing up and look dead in his eyes.
"IM.FINE. Kurosai Yushiro-San"
Yushiro can feel that part of himself break, She run away like a wind and out of his sight, Yushiro can also feel himself freeze. She called him formally even if they both we're always together along with Tamayo on the house for the pass 13 years so why is she acting like this?
"What is happening… I hope you're doing fine but I didn't expect you to be like this.. tch"
Yushiro's didn't expected you to be like this, It's was just like yesterday when you we're bought here in the house, It was just also like yesterday when your first words was 'Oniichan' to him. He felt like his losing his mind with this simple thing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
12 Years Later
(Y/N)'s 15 yrs old
Tamayo and Yushiro was on their way home when they heard a commotion, The two look at each other before camly look at the scene. Both watch as a boy was yelling at someone, Tamayo's eyes widen before she composed herself and cutted on her arm, Flowers magically appeared and the people who sworn had smelled sweet bloosom smell fell to the groun and to a small deep sleep.
"That scent.. You guys are a demon aren't you?" A boy in (y/n)'s age asked, Tamayo asked and adviced the little boy and told him to meet them in their house to talk about the earlier's commotion.
~~Time skip (There's really nothing to put here so just magically skip where Tanjiro was seating himself along with Nezuko in Tamayo's house)~~
3rd POV
Tanjiro was seated infront of Tamayo, Beside Tamayo, Yushiro was their glaring at him and Nezuko who was happily sliding herself by the back on the floor.
Tanjiro and Tamayo was talking when they heard the door of the room open.
"Okaasan, I hope you don't mind me staying.." A girl with (H/L) and (H/C) said but stopped when she notice who her mother was talking to, "Tanjiro?" She asked confirming, She felt herself being hugged.
"(N/N)-Chan!" Tanjiro yelled out surprise, He watched as Nezuko patting her head with a happy expression. I mean what could he expect for a Kinoe*?
(Kinoe; Kinoe is the second highest to a Hashira or rather next Hashira
Ps. This is one of my biggest guess)
"You know them (Y/N)?" (Y/N) who was just there letting Nezuko pat her head with affection.
"Hai, I have a mission with them last time" (Y/N) said with a soft smile, She looked at Tanjiro, "Ohayo, Tanjiro-Kun, Nezuko-chan" She said before she walk towards where Tanjiro was seated and just plopped herself there and then.
"(N/N)-Chan helped us alot!" Tanjiro said with his infamous smile :D
But wait- Why the heck is Yushiro so red right now?
Yushiro watch the scene happend, Ever since (Y/N) became 13 and ranked up to Kinoe, She distanced herself from Yushiro, It was unfair for Yushiro as he was the one who babysit her godamn ass- I mean he took care of her as her 'Brother Figure' yeah.... He was just a Brother Figure nothing more..
All thoughts stop when he sense something. His Demon sense said there's something gonna happend and that is a Deja Vu.
"Everyone Get Down!!" Yushiro said, He ducked down Tamayos head by his hand in a protective matter and his other to reach for (Y/N) only to see Tanjiro on top of her like how he protectively put his hand on Tamayo but Tanjiro was hugging (Y/N).
Feeling himself wanna just kick that Tanjiro's butt, He was angry, That was his duty to protect Tamayo and (Y/N). Oh fudging stop Yushiro! This is no time to be making a plan to kill that boy later-
"(Y/N)-Chan are you ok!?" Tanjiro asked as he looked at any injuries, He was suddenly pushed by (Y/N) and watched as (Y/N) stumbled back and a Ball passed him with the speed of the wind.
"Yare yare Tanjiro-Kun, You should protect Nezuko-Chan. My rank is higher than yours" (Y/N) said in a sweet childish voice, she unsheltered her sword as she got up, "Now, No time to do this things Im still feeling Deja Vu here, GIVE ME ALL YOUR SHOTS TANJIRO!" She yelled and went after the demon who keeps playing with balls. (Why does that sound so ugly?-)
"Tamayo-Sama we should leave that boy and demon girl use them as bait!" Yushiro said with his proud voice, proudly presenting his plan.
"Yushiro are you insane?! Tanjiro, Nezuko and (Y/N) are fighting that demons!" Tamayo yelled at Yushiro disappointed lace in her voice.
"Well we can also take (Y/N)-" He stopped talking when he saw Nezuko kicking the other demon girl.
"Yushiro-San is Right! You should leave this to s Tamayo-San!" Tanjiro's yell echo, as Tanjiro said this he got distracted and stumbled to the ground.
"See!?" Yushiro said having SFX sparkles around him, He was smack at the back of his head.
"Were all being serious here Yushiro-San!" (Y/N) yelled as her hand was in air, She was the one who smacked his head, "Be serious! Tanjiro needs help!" She said as she ran again to help Tanjiro.
Yushiro give in after he was scolded by Tamayo, After giving his eye to Tanjiro, His head suddenly bounced off his body and like a ball it rolled down the ground.
"Oh my god-" (Y/N) commented, half concern half disappointed.
~Skip cause I don't know how to fighting scenes~
(Y/N)'s POV
I stumble a little after the fight, Okaasan, Yushiro, and Nezuko are inside the broken house, I watched as Tanjiro passed the ball to the demon girl. He sure have the heart of sympathy.
I got up and walked towards Tanjiro, I almost tripped but Catched myself, I bend in one knee.
"Come Tanjiro-Kun, I'll carry you inside" I said as I waited for Tanjiro.
"But I might be too heavy for you" Tanjiro said, I looked back at him before saying things that made him give up.
"Im not weak, Your still in Mizunoto rank, Mines higher which means I can carry you" I said and smiled a little back at him, I felt himself made himself up to my back and Carefully I stood up and walked inside the broken Home I grew up.
"Nee, Didn't you say that Yushiro-San was your crush?" Tanjiro asked with a teasing voice, I blushed at that. Well you see I grew attached to Tanjiro since he's around my age and his nice like duhh, So like we grew attached for a few weeks like we know each other for years!
I continue to walk, Knowing where they are I slowly walk down the stairs to the basement.
"Stop that Tanjiro, And here I thought your kind but so mean!" I said with a defeated voice, Tanjiro just laughed a little while I chuckled.
I continued to walk till we saw Okaasan and Yushiro walked out the room followed behind was a running Nezuko and Hugged Me.
"Nezuko!" Tanjiro happily called out to Nezuko, She patted my head as I put Tanjiro down so he could stand, He stumbled a litle but Nezuko and I catched him. Nezuko hugged him and Tanjiro was patting her head.
"Im relief you guys are ok" Okaasan said as she smiled, I smiled too as I see Nezuko running up to Okaasan and embraced her with a hug, She looked shocked and was about to cry.
Nezuko patted Yushiro's Head making him blush and rage but Nezuko returned to hugging Okaasan, Okaasan looked at Tanjiro.
"She sees Humans as Family and Demons as Enemies" Tanjiro said, I already knew this as he also said this.
"Yeah, Okaasan, Yushiro-San. Nezuko sees you as family!" I said with a happy voice, Nezuko run back to me and hugged me, OmFG we all are having a hugging session here.
"Would you like Nezuko to stay here with us or would you bring her with you?" Okaasan asked, Tanjiro thinks for A moment, I patted his back and nodded my head with a smile.
"No, I promise to protect her and Having her by my side made me want her to protect her more" Tanjiro said, He smiled as he turns around and took the box Nezuko stays in.
"Alright then" Okaasan said She turned to me, "Are you still staying (Y/N)?" She askes me, I shook my head.
"I think I found more paths to take Okaasan! I'll be helping Tanjiro-kun find a cure for Nezuko-chan!" I said with a smile, "Tanjiro and Nezuko are special so I'll be there to protect him!" I said again with a smile, I walk toward Tanjiro and Nezuko.
Tanjiro, Nezuko and I wave goodbye before Tanjiro was called by Yushiro.
"Wai- wait!" Yushiro called out, Tanjiro looked back and so does I because Im curious lol. "I think your sister is pretty after all" Yushiro said with a blush, I smiled alittle at what he had said, Im proud he said that because Tanjiro keeps complaining about him calling Nezuko ugly-
"Right, Should I give you another farewell smack for calling Nezuko ugly Yushiro-San?" My sweet sickly smile appeared, "Nezuko is as pretty as a flower" I said with another smile, I swear Im gonna be like Shinabou-Senpai.
'THE HECK? DIS THIS BUDDHA LOOKING KIND ANGLE BOY MAKING MY LITTLE (Y/N) A DEVIL-' Yushiro said in the mind.
Long story short Yushiro's mind just exploded with lots of 'My' or Angry insult to poor shivering Tanjiro.
"Yushiro, Stop being in the daze and help me move the stuff. Muzan Already know our Location and it's still best to move" Tamayo snapped Yushiro out of his Insulting Tanjiro in mind, Yushiro Look at Tamayo who was helping the Woman earlier and sighed.
Yushiro took out some boxes and gone to Tamayo's testing room to boxed and rapped them, Once Yushiro was done he moved to one certain room. He opened the door to see the room ceiling still sparkling like a galaxy sky, The walls have clouds and few wall drawings on them, The desk that was abandoned their was still neat but dusty, The bed that hasn't been made for 3 years still as messy as ever. He saw one drawing close to a book shelf, He walk up to it and look closely.
Yushiro chuckled at a memory
A little girl with (H/C) was drawing at a certain wall, Her eyes sparkle at whatever she had thought.
"(Y/N)?" A femine voice can be heard as the voice called out to the little girl, the little girl with (H/C) looked to the side to see her mom.
"Okaa-San, Look! Look! I made a drawing of you and Yushi-NiiSan!" The little girl happily squealed, Tamayo smiles a little at the cute drawing before she reaize she's looking at a drawing in the wall.
"That's beautiful (Y/N) but walls aren't papers to draw, How about if you be a good girl and I'll buy you an art paper?" Tamayo said with a smile before scooping the little girl in her arms, "But before that, Let's go eat Dinner with Yushiro" Tamayo said as she smiled once again.
(A/N: I don't know what its called ok?)
Yushiro Watched from the other room before he moved to see the drawing and ofcourse not until the little girl an Tamayo was gone to the kitchen, He look closely that The small drawing of him and Tamayo was close but to the side he sees a little sad girl that look a little exactly like (Y/N)
As the memories gone far he slowly remember the small drawing but when he looked to the side where the drawing of a sad little girl was, It was scratched and nothing else, He sighed and thinking it was just his Imagination playing tricks again. He decided to box the old books an notebooks (Y/N) have on her dusty desk, Slowly and gently putting it in the boxes he doesn't even know why he was packing this when it was just abandoned, sighning again He put back every books and notebooks neatly on the box when something fell of the desk. The smll sound of a clink and thud was heard.
A small note book close to it was a broken neckless.. no it's locket
Yushiro crouches down to pick up the small but thick notebook, He also picked up the locket.
(That's the best I can do lol dont mind- skskkskejjdkwkke)
It was the three of them, He was sorta shocked since WHO THE HECK WOULD TAKE A PICTURE OF THEM WHILE TAMAYO WAS CUTTING HER WHIST-
Hayyts anyways, He look at the book and locket t the same time. Thinking it was wrong
"But It wouldn't hurt since it was already abandoned here" He said out loud, He hesitated to open the small note book but he got over it and open the first page.
(To people who can't see it
"Dear f̶u̶t̶o̶u̶r̶e̶ future,
Hello from the past! Im (Y/N) and I made this to show to Y̶u̶s̶h̶i̶-N̶i̶i̶s̶a̶n̶ Yushiro-San, That I have a tiny winnie c̶r̶a̶s̶h̶ Crush on him.
I would like to one day to c̶o̶n̶n̶f̶e̶s̶ Confess to him! but I was having a secong thought, Yushi has a crush on Okaa-San
I saw how the way he looks at Okaa-San, But when you c̶o̶m̶p̶e̶r̶e̶ Compare how he looks at me like im Litte sibling :(( " )
He was shocked to see and read this, And heck this was the very first page of the small notebook, Now looking back at how her behavior got to a loving sister bacame a cold person to him. Damn that made him sad. Just because him and Tamayo came from M̶i̶c̶h̶a̶e̶l̶ J̶a̶c̶k̶s̶o̶n̶ Muzan from their Deheemon squad doesn't mean they can't feel sad, This was the first time in 200 years he felt sad.
(Bruhh were on 3341 words why does this takes so freaking long?-)
~Time skip again by Author reading the manga part and to the part of the freaking fight (PS since I haven't fully read it I will be halfly making the end :")) )~

Arriving at the time, (Y/N) saw this and couldn't help but screamed.
"OKAA-SAN!!" (Y/N) yelled tears of river down her apple cheeks holding her sword infront of Muzan (Hee-Hee Man) "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO MY OKAA-SAN!" Before she could go near the Lord of Demons, Her arms were Yanked away and to the door she came through before she got to the scene, The sound of the strings can be heard as the room was another scenario. She tried to fight back. "LET ME GO!" She yelled once more as tears were running through her eyes.
"(Y/N)-Chan.. Gomen.." A soothing voice said, She looks up at Tanjiro. Her eyes were dull, She felt a hand put on her hand, She looks back at Yushiro and at Tanjiro.
"Tanjiro..Yushiro.. Let's fight for Okaa-san.. For everyone who sacrificed themselves!" She yelled, Her voice cold, stern and harsh but nonetheless Yushiro and Tanjiro agree before splitting up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Y/N) lay there in the ground as Kakushis started to form around her.
"Fight (Y/N)-Sama! AID ARE COMING THIS WAY PLEASE!" Her kakushi said, Other Kakushi tried to cheer aswell.
Arriving at the time, (Y/N) saw this and couldn't help but screamed.
"OKAA-SAN!!" (Y/N) yelled tears of river down her apple cheeks holding her sword infront of Muzan (Hee-Hee Man) "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO MY OKAA-SAN!" "Fight (Y/N)-Sama! AID ARE COMING THIS WAY PLEASE!" Her kakushi said, Other Kakushi tried to cheer aswell.
"You can't leave us too!"
"(Y/N)-Sama we still want to do the honor to serve you!"
"There there.. Your ok (Y/N)-Sama.."
Comments flew and flew trying to distract her from closing her (E/C) eyes, They stop to look at her.
She was smiling. Tears we're in her eyes as she chuckle even though blood flood over her mouth and so does in her other body parts.
"..Are you all really looking down at me?.. Im yet to become your honoured Hashira that... your.." She paused as blood still flood her, Her eyes getting heavier. The kakushi look at her, "Ara....Im sleepy.. Can you put a blanket on me..when Im..c-cold?" She asks, Her kakushis all nodded as one got her a blanket. She smile.
"Please don't sleep yet my dear.." A Voice, She looks beside the Kakushi. Her eyes softened even more. Ayame-Sama. Beside her was a smiling healthy Kagaya along with their children smiling down at her.
"Umai! (Y/N) that's not how you gonna die right? Your still need to eat alot with my brother!" A loud comforting voice said. Kyoujuro-NiiSan.
"Haha..Gomenne Ayame-sama.. Oyakata-sama, Imoutos.. Kyou-NiiSan" She blankly look at them with her bloody teeth as a smile, Blood drool beside her upside lip. "I feel sleepy.." she said, her eyes blurry as her eye lids slowly closing.
The Kakushis listen to this, They watch as she slowly close her eyes just like the Honored Flame Pillar. Smiled in her last breath.
"(Y/N)-Sama.." A battle screamed of cries of the kakushis can be heard.
There was no way to see her Heartbeat.. because she doesn't have a Heart..... But it doesn't feel like that because she was the heart of the Demon Slaying Corps, Who was treasure amongst every single one.
As (Y/N) took her last breath, Yushiro sits upon infront of Tamayo's dead, cold body. In his arms was Tamayo's head.
"Tamayo-Sama.." His eyes watered like forever as it got blurry.
A light emerge beside the body infront of him, A vision of the Familiar loveable Female Demon doctor.
"Yushiro..Child..Take Care, (Y/N) is still waiting for you.. but please wait for her a little longer.." She said before walking away to the light waiting for her.
It was that day that every Slayer that has survived that war was honored as the Heroes.
But it was also That Day, That Yushiro realized what Tamayo had said, Determined to do her request. But stumbling by (Y/N)'s cold body as he walk through, Heard the cries.
He felt like the world was nothing but cruel, But this.. The only person who he now realize the person he really actually LOVED the MOST laying there in the ground, Smiling but not breathing.
The hard breaking truth hurt him
But he was Willing to wait
(A shi- here we go.. Uhm this is it guys get your tissues)
3rd POV
'I started to paint your figures because I don't want to forget neither of your faces.. One day.
I believe that, We're destined to meet again.'
Yushiro walked through the hallway, Painting of 2 figures in the wall. A Woman with beautiful Violet eyes with such beautiful black raven hair while the 2nd figure was a Teenage girl with a Beautiful sweet smile, sparkling (E/C) eyes and (H/C) shining through the lights.
Yushiro stopped in his tracks..
A woman with the same description of Raven Black hair and Violet lovely eyes stood at one of the paintings, Tears in her eyes. She noticed his presence and quickly wiped her tears.
Yushiro stood there, His hand on his heart.
'If she's here.. does that mean she has a high chance to be here too?..' His mind questions filling it before he snapped as he heard a high pinched voice of a child.
"Mom, Mom! Look!" The kid called out to the lady as the Lady scooped the child in her arms, "Doesn't the painting resembles you? OH and (Y/N)-Oneechan!" He said pointing at each paintings.
"Ara? Oh how gorgeous of this people" The lady said with a smile as the Kid continue to awed at the painting before a deep voice called out for them. Making their way to the Build up man before walking away.
Yushiro thought he could meet (Y/N) as the child called her, Older Sister.
His thoughts we're once again snapped as his cat, The only thing left from the two started to follow the 3 people... He smiled sadly before carrying the cat in his arms, and starts to walk away.
"Ack, Yui! Stop running around!" A girl's voice can be heard making Yushiro halt his walk, The cat in his arms look pass his sholder before wiggling out of his grip. "Yui! If you keep running around like that, Okaa-san, Otou-san and even my Oto-oto will be mad at us for missing out!" She scold, Her eyes widen a little at a familiar cat. She ducked down to look at it closely.
As this was happening, Yushiro slowly turn around. This time he can hear and feel his heartbeat ready to burst along with the long tears he wanna let go. He slowly walk to her before halting infront of her 2 meter away.
The Girl, Now looking closely has long (H/C) Hair, cute beaming (E/C) eyes. Her eyes slowly looked up at the foot sight, trailing it up before her eyes locked with Light purple eyes with clouds of tears forming. The girl kindly smiled at him before taking the familiar cat in her arms, As Yui put itself on her sholder hanging there as she stood up straight.
"It's Nice to see you Again, Yushiro" She said with a smile.
Yushiro's eyes finally gave out as he was now crying and embrace the girl infront of him.
The cat in her arms and sholder now jumped off at the side gaving the (H/C) haired girl hugged back at the male standing infront of her, Putting her face in his chest as little, Her own eyes was forming with tears.
"It has.. My Lady" He said.
'I thought that you would forget about me and everyone like Tamayo-sama but.. Im so happy to embrace you right now I don't know what to say...'
WAIT HEAR ME OUT! I imagine Y/N having an illness called "Gixet syndrome" {funny ass name} (a rare syndrome that grows inside her body, not only BLUE SPIDER LILIES but also HEALING HERBS that can instantly heal and revive someone so I think it's lucky for the demons and humans I guess? ) AND the KNY characters just now knew this when Y/N started coughing flowers,feeling unwell in her house, laying in her bed, and both of the mythical plants slowly started growing inside her because the syndrome causes when Y/N is feeling miserable and depressed. Now I wanna know what's THEIR reaction? (begging on my knees to Add Tamayo and Yushiro along with the demon slayer characters and the demons- if that's okay for you-)
OKAY SORRY IF THIS IS LONG YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO WRITE IT IF YOU WANT- I HOPE YOUR DOING OKAY FELLOW SHRIMP!! GOODBYEE -Shrimp 🦐 1# fan of Kyojuro, Gyomei, and Hotaru.
Let’s tackle this “Gixet Syndrome” (funny name, tragic vibes), and the emotional chaos when everyone finds out what’s happening to our poor reader 😭💐
🌸 GIXET SYNDROME: CHARACTER REACTIONS 🌸
🩶 You start coughing flowers, collapsing from fatigue, your body sprouting blue spider lilies and healing herbs whenever you're miserable… and no one knew until now.
💉 Tamayo Her eyes widen in pure horror. How could she have missed something so critical?! “...This shouldn’t be possible…” she whispers, shaking hands pressed to your forehead. Treats you like a living relic but also like her dearest patient. Does research night and day; no sleep. She refuses to let this take you. If you're crying, she holds your hand and says: “We will find a way. Your life matters, Y/N. You’re not alone in this.” 🧪 Yushiro “Why didn’t you SAY anything?!” Gets snappy, but it’s out of pure panic and guilt. He's lowkey crying in the other room but pretends he’s just “venting frustrations.” Pledges himself to helping you just like Tamayo does. Glares at everyone like: “If you upset them and make it worse, I’ll kill you. Gently. With style.” 🌸 Hashira + KNY Gang 🔥 Kyojuro “This is no ordinary illness…” his voice breaks a little. Immediately brings you warm food and sits by your bed every night. Holds your hand while you sleep. “You will not suffer alone. I promise.” Tries to cheer you up constantly—even burns his hand trying to cook soup. “I may not understand it, but I’ll fight it alongside you!” 🙏 Gyomei Silent tears while he prays by your side. His hands tremble as he senses the unnatural life growing in your body. “Why must one so kind suffer so deeply…” Offers silent comfort. He believes your heart is too beautiful to be extinguished. 🔨 Haganezuka Looks like he doesn’t care at first. But then violently forges a gift blade infused with protective runes and healing ores, just for you. Leaves it at your bedside with a note: “Don’t die. You piss me off too much for that.” 💨 Sanemi He’s pissed—at the universe, the syndrome, everything. “Why didn’t you TELL ME?!” Punches a wall. Then sits by your bed awkwardly, refusing to leave. Whispers, “You’re annoying, but if you die I’ll never forgive you.” 🐍 Obanai Stiff. Silent. Eyes glued to you when you’re unconscious. Brings Kaburamaru to curl around you—believes his presence can stabilize you. Talks to you quietly when you're asleep: “Don’t wilt. I’ll give up my own blood if it means keeping you alive.” 🐗 Inosuke “WHAT ARE THESE PLANTS DOING TO YOU?? I’LL RIP THEM OUT!!” Tries to physically fight the syndrome (please someone stop him 😭). Sleeps in your room like a feral gremlin to keep you “safe.” Cries when he thinks no one’s looking. ⚡ Zenitsu SOBBING. LOUDLY. Tries to make you laugh with dumb impressions. Buys you 1000 flowers because “y-you like them r-right???” “Y/N-CHAN YOU’RE SO STRONG PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME I HAVEN’T EVEN MARRIED YOU YETTTT 😭” 🦷 Genya Shuts down. He doesn’t know how to deal with grief. Sits outside your window and guards your house 24/7. Has a whole mini shrine where he lights incense for your recovery. “I’ll protect you. Even from something I can’t see.” 🌙 Demons (Muzan + Upper Moons) 👑 Muzan Stops everything. Still. Silent. Staring. “...You are the cure and the death?” He’s obsessed. Offers to take you away, “protect” you from your own emotions. “You’re suffering? Let me take it away… permanently.” (He’s willing to preserve you in a glass box if it means keeping you from dying.) 💢 Akaza Loses it when he sees you coughing blood and flowers. “Who did this to you?!” He doesn’t get it at first—until he realizes your sadness is causing this. “Tell me who hurt you. I’ll make them disappear.” 🌙 Doma “Ohhh~ how delightfully tragic~!” BUT he's obsessed. Wants to keep you close. "Sadness makes you bloom, huh~?" Offers to “cheer you up” with weird cult nonsense and smiles 24/7 to prevent the symptoms from worsening. “Darling, I shall be your personal sun!” 🔥 Kokushibo Rarely speaks, but he is furious that your own emotions are killing you. Sits silently near you like a stone statue. Leaves silent offerings of rare items, hoping they ease your pain. “This world is cruel. But if your heart breaks again…I’ll carry the pieces.”
Ok I caught myself simping for Hotaru.... HOW I'M SORRY BUT HOW CAN A COUPLE REQUESTS FROM YOU MADE ME QUESTION MY ENTIRE SEXUALITY HUH? YOU WANNA EXPLAIN SM OR WHAT? BECAUSE BEFORE I HEARTLY BELIEVED I'M A NATURAL LESBIAN AND NOW THAT'S UNDER CONCERN FOR ME.
~About My Main Oc's(The Main 4)~
Nicki Ohnosaki (DS): Is the Shadow Hashira(Ranked as 4th strongest)who took former Flower Hashira, Natsuki Ohnosaki's rank in the core (Etc:Joined the Core at: 16 Former Age:21). She was raised in a house of 2 younger siblings and 1 older sibling, each one with their fair share of abuse by their father, Natsuki being the oldest was the only sibling who could stand up for all her siblings (Natsuki was 9, Nikki was 7, Inosaki was 4, and Kai was 2). On the night of August 18th their family was slaughtered with the only survivers being, their father, name is Timoko Ohnosaki (who got turned into a demon by the lower moon who slaughtered their family), Natsuki Ohnosaki(The oldest sibling of 3, after the slaughter became a slayer at 15 and at 18 because a Hashira to revenge the death of Kai Ohnosaki and her mother Momisuke Ohnosaki), Nikki Ohnosaki (The 2nd oldest of 3 after the slaughter she was taken under Natsuki care becoming a slayer and Natsukis Tsugoku at the age of 16, After Natsuki's death she takes her place ranking one rank higher {at 4th} Getting the title 'Hashira' for her speed, senses, and fighting tactics), and last Inosaki Ohnosaki (The 2nd youngest of 3, after the slaughter he was taken care of by Taro{Natsuki's Bf, Light Hashira}and Nikki after training sessions with Natsuki, after Natsukis/Taros murder, Inosaki makes the decision of becoming a medic to help slayers and the injured in general while Nikki was out on missions doing her role as a hashira. Present he works in the Butterfly Mansion with Ms. Aoi, Shinobu, and the Caterpillar sisters)
(Natsuki's Death & Nikki's Revenge With a Fatal Price.
-Natsuki's mission was against a lower moon, lower moon 2 {her own abusive father} the master had sent her with light hashira, Taro Rimko both were sent on the night of March 23rd and never were seen after that day. The mission was normal until they had found the twisted game of the demon, bodies hung by trees some didn't even have most of their limbs, Both Hashiras were left in pure disgust Taro learned to pray from his father and Gyomei and decided to do so as Natsuki yelled out for the demon to reveal themselves. The demon listened to the command as Natsuki's eyes widened, Taros blind eyes focused on the demon from hearing... It was Timoko Ohnosaki but a uglier and more blood thirsty father, it didn't take long for the rage and flame to strike, the battle lasted until the brink of dawn, Timoko had to finished the two quick.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠⚠}
Taro was the first to be demolished, his eyes were targeted first one being poked out and held in the hand of lower moon 2 and lastly when Taro was distracted with his bleeding eye, he was K. Oed with his head being ripped ripped off right in front of Natsuki making her boil with rage since he'd token another loved one, her blood boiled as she decided to attack out of anger, that didn't end well.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠}
The lower moon gripped her head ripping it back before stabbing his fingers into her throat, slashing it aggressively. The sun finally rose, Timoko had fled, leaving Natsuki's body next to her lovers as they both rotted in their own piles of blood.
-Story 2: it was the final battle, Nikki was faced with the death of Tokito Muichiro and Kocho Shinobu, her eyes filled with sarrow as she placed flower clips onto their covered corpeses after she had shredded her demon father mouthing the words 'You'll never be granted with a second chance, not by the devil himself' the battle between her and her father was harsh, loosing vision in her left eye from a bloody slash along with multiple bruises and cuts, but it was finally over she had better demons to take care off, to revenge the lives that had been lost to such merciless creatures. The war was finally over.. Down on her knees with a missing hand, and blind in her left, she'd had survived with a fatal price of her limbs.. She had survived to see the light of day... She had survived to see her brother.
Peace finally came over the remaining survivors of the corps, and peace to all the lives who fight and died in battle. The wind blew as silence was between the two Ohnosaki siblings as they sat in front of Natsuki's, Kai's, and Momisuke's graves as they gave gifts such as food, flowers and last but not least their tears. 'Stay hello to the others for me'
-The end, thank you for reading Nikki's lore
Miyake Suzui (OP):Worlds most known/Wanted engineer, getting the titles for bombing Marines (basically committing genocide 😭) and helping pirates then backstabbing them by stealing their valuables, getting her first bounty at 10 at the high price of 150,000. Years go by ever since her sister had left her, and her other sister had died she found herself in a floating restaurant called 'Baratie' dressing herself up as a guy to avoid Sanji's simping but it all changed when a group of pirates rulled by Dawn Kreig had started a ruckes with another group of pirates a very small but strong group called the 'Strawhats' she finally revealed her identity fight by the side of Luffy until Kreig was defeated, after this Luffy had offered to be on sea but like Sanji she declined acting as cold as she did when she served them beside Sanji. After s bit of convincing she joined their crew as the loyal engineer besides the simping cook Sanji. Her next bounty raise wasn't until after the 2 year span, raising from 150,000 to 240,000,000. (this was made lazily bc I made this at fucking 12am)
(Family Lore & Years spent engineering)
-Gardening was fun as a family time, each caring for a certain part of the garden, Mother and Father focused on the grass, trees, and bushes, Moko and Michii worked on picking and growing fruits, and lastly Miyake would plant flowers. It was all friendly until a ambush by Marines sent by one of the admirals they wrecked the garden the wrecked parts of the house, their parents forced them three to hide and Moko shoved her and her sisters into a bunker, Michii was angered and Miyake? She cried and cried for her parents (I'd like to add their parents we're wanted pirates!her father with a bounty of 23,000,000 and their mother with the bounty of 15,000,000)but Michii covered her mouth as shots were shot, bodies had fallen. After the ambush the three had gotten out of the bunker, seeing blood stains but no bodies. Days pass Moko and Michii had moved on trying to fix their garden and the destroyed parts of the house. 2-3 months pass and the Suzuis met the same fate of a ambush after the Marines found out about the children, Moko had to step up risking her life.. (The trauma man😭) the other two cried as they hid themselves in the bunker without someone older to protect them anymore, soon enough the same sound of a gun firing arose.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠⚠}
Moko was shot in the heart ending her young life quickly, the Marines yelled for the other children to come out or they'd destroy the house but they didn't leave both were scared both were horrified, the marine army marched in wrecking and throwing objects as dusk neared they finally left. Immediately at dawn the two sisters made graves for the family they lost placing flowers and their own personal items, Michii placing fruits on her parents graves {oranges and strawberries since it was their favorites) and a hairbrush on Moko grave on the other hand Miyake placed her plush of a cat on her mother's grave, a carton of strawberry milk on her fathers grave, and her kimono on Mokos grave.
-Story 2: years pass since the death of their family, Miyake started to study astrology {Moko loved astrology and the sea} as Michii barely came home to see her own sister. One day Michii called Miyake to tell her news, she was leaving on a 'trip for food' but that made Miyake even more devastated than she already was and before her sister left she mutter out the words 'PROMISE YOU'LL COME BACK FOR ME!!'. After the day her sister left she started to learn how to be an engineer, building new things she never thought she could succeed everytime she knew he family would be proud but at the same time she missed Michii. 2 years pass Michii never came back {She betrayed her own family by joining the Marines, the ones who killed her family, but once the two meet when Miyake is 23 she makes up a reason that she only did it to steal and destroy all their plans} after her 10th birthday Miyake was more mature finally fed up with being alone people were shocked she was still alive she was only a love because of her circus loving friend Paco who'd bring her food and drinks while she worked, one person was so shocked they called marine forces to arrest her. The Marines had got there but no trace of her was seen until... All the ships had blown up, the screams of the Marines who stayed behind filled the people's ears, as she left one of the ships with supplies and weaponry that's how she got her first bounty of 150,000.
-The end, thank you for reading Miyakes lore (next one will be shorter)
Kuro Tsuko(DDD): She is a 16 year old girl who transferred to the same school as the alien geeks, not believing that aliens and ghosts exist until she encountered Acrobatic Silky (episode 5 or 6). She didn't know she was possessed by a ghost herself, the ghost of her samurai father (her father was a samurai who slayed Yokais until the day he died from a demon using his own blade to stab him) Out of the group she has the best strategies, best battle plans, and attack tactics. She is the only one who has no siblings and a living mother so she has no lore. Her personality is sassy, funny, and loyal.
Bingo(OM! OM NB!): The knight who guards the Lord's castle, who loves rocks and Simeon- ignore that. Like the brother she too is a fallen angel due to her lovers lie {will explain in 'Cupid's Lore'} Her personality is like a literal bitch, cussing everyone out, even going as far to throw rocks she collected or bite demons for their disrespect towards Diavolo {She hears all} and really caring and loyal.
(Cupid's Lore & The day the hearts would shatter)
-Bingo was the most popular cupid, always on track with building relationships and making them last with her never missing arrows, her herself was beloved by all for her beauty and soft heart {Personality is completely different from her personality in hell}. One day she was confronted by a Royal Knight of the celestial realm, he confessed his love and she accepted it. Everything was sweet from the start but truly this man was hell itself, as years passed he turned more controlling and grew distant but it wasn't enough to break her heart yet...Her lover came back from his duties seemingly annoyed and then yelling at her accusing her of cheating!? She denied it {obviously she didn't, like she's cupid just like she sore loyalty to her job she sore loyalty to her relationship} but that wasn't enough to make him believe, she truly was on the brink of being a weeping angel.
-Story 2: After the rumors had spread of her cheating it finally reached the god. When she was brought to his mercy to explain her sin she denied and finally broke before she was banished she let out her anger on the god and her lying lover.. She was finally banished and fell from the light clouds swearing she'd never forget the betrayal she felt during those final weeks and the friendship she made during all the years.
-The end, thank you for reading Bingos Lore
(All OCS except bingo bc she's mysterious)
Request! About some headcanon of yushiro, muichiro and genya with a couple who is a deaf-mute person(maybe a male nurse?), I hope that it is not a problem for you to write something about a disability and that it does not make you feel uncomfortable
Note: Oh hun I’ve written a book with a blind main character so there's nothing to worry about
Tumblr media
Character(s): Yushiro, Muichiro, Genya
Type of reader: M!Reader
Category: Fluff
Warning(s): None
Edited: ❌
Tumblr media
Yushiro found it quite unique about your disabilities
You couldn't speak nor could you hear, yet you were a nurse?
He never bashed you for it since he found it pretty cute whenever you'd have to try and communicate with your patience
It also showed how strong you were since you never allowed your disabilities to get in the way of your work or would use them as an excuse
Now that's one of the reasons he fell in love with you
Another reason was you didn't get scared when he told you he was a demon
It was like you knew you were safe around him
So that made him pretty happy since you accepted him for what he was
You also never asked for help with anything
If anyone tried to help you'd give them a simple shake of the head and do it yourself no matter how difficult it was
Now that's what I call independent and determined
Tumblr media
Muichiro always had questions for you
'Why were you working as a nurse?' 'Why'd you take on a job if you can't speak or hear?'
So so many questions
He even felt bad you were even working in this state
But after seeing how you were pretty used to your job and worked like you were any normal person, which you were of course dazzled him
He pretty much admired you till that admiration turned into a crush and that turned into love
Well shit, he fell in love with the demon slayer's nurse
Of course he kept it in for a little while before telling you and you were ecstatic about it
So here you were, the s/o of the mist pillar
Besides Tanjiro he's always treat you like his favorite and would even smile when seeing you or near you
It's like you two were a match made in heaven
Tumblr media
Genya here was confused why you'd never respond whenever he was calling your name till Shinobu told him about how you were completely deaf in both ears
It didn't take long for him to understand that along with the fact you were mute
Even though you wouldn't speak to him you'd make certain movements with your body to communicate with him and he loved that so damn much
And just by how much you time you two would spend with each other you both were bound to fall in love with one another which did happen
You were the first to confess even though Genya was planning to eventually, but there's no harm in that
You two became such a cute couple, helping each other with things, being sweet to one another even if one makes a small mistake
Such a good relationship so many others wish they had
You loved how Genya would actually talk with his voice even if you couldn't hear since he knew you could read lips
It showed he didn't want to treat you differently at all and that always made your heart do summersaults
He isn't one for pda, but if you wanted to hold hands with him you bet he will in the blink of an eye
(Just know he'll be red the entire time as the two of you walked around holding hands, but it isn't from embarrassment at all)
Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three, Chapter Four, Chapter Five.
Y/N Perspective.
It was finally the day, the day I’d leave with Tamayo and Yushiro to search for Giyu Tomioka. Kyojuro had sulked all morning, his mood dark despite granting me permission. Apparently, agreeing doesn’t mean acting mature about it.
I stopped by his den, knowing I wouldn’t see him for a while. Which… would be strange, considering I’ve gotten used to seeing him almost every day.
I ran my fingers through the thick fur between his ears, gently massaging. His tail coiled around my thigh, pulling me closer, as he leaned into my touch like a cat.
“I don’t want you to go,” his voice, low and resonant, echoed around us. “Stay here with me. Forget this nonsense of traveling. I’ll keep you warm, and fulfilled… you know I can.” His words dripped with persuasion.
I smiled softly, tracing the edges of his ears. “I’ll be back soon, you know that. Time will fly by, I promise,” I tried, my voice tender, though the reassurance felt weak.
His ears twitched, flattening with frustration. “My mate is leaving me… for who knows how long. I’ll miss you.”
My heart clenched, unfamiliar pain filling the space between us. I had never seen him like this, it’s more of a sad begging than an anger.
I continued to stroke the soft fur along his head and shoulders, pressing gentle kisses between his eyes and on his forehead. His purring and soft clicks were a small comfort, a sign that I was soothing him. When I pulled back to look at him, though, his expression still seemed sad. It was hard to believe that this was the same cryptid monster that scared half the world. Right now, he looked more like a big, heartbroken puppy.
“I have to go, Kyojuro… but I promise I’ll be back soon! And when I return, Ill bring so many food offerings, you won’t know what to do with them all.” I smiled brightly, hoping to lift his mood.
It worked. His ears perked up, and that familiar sharp, toothy grin spread across his face.
“You… you really mean it?” His voice had a spark of excitement.
I laughed, unable to resist how cute he was in this moment. “Of course! I promise.”
Suddenly, his tail coiled around my waist, pulling me up to his height until we were eye-to-eye. He pressed his forehead against mine, the touch warm and intimate.
“You will come back to me,” he murmured, his tone soft but commanding. “I won’t let you stay away for long. You are mine… my mate. I don’t want anything else to try and take you away.”
His voice was gentle but firm, leaving no room for argument. Not that I wanted to. The truth was, I wasn’t planning to run.
I know now, I’m falling in love with this cryptid, I’m falling in love with kyojuro…
I felt his tail tighten around my waist, and his teeth grazed my skin in warning nips.
“Just hold still,” he growled low, the rumble vibrating against me.
Before I had time to process, a sharp, burning pain shot through me as his teeth sank into the flesh where my neck met my shoulder. I gasped, my fingers clutching the fur on his shoulders, holding on as the sting pulsed through me. After a moment, he withdrew, licking the blood from his lips.
“Forgive me, little human,” he murmured, his tone almost tender. “But I need my marks fresh before you go. My scent must linger.”
I nodded weakly. No matter how many times he did this, it never got easier. But if it meant he’d let me go, I wasn’t going to fight him. I’d just have to cover it up with my clothes and bandages later.
He leaned in, licking the blood from my neck and shoulder, his touch both cleaning and claiming.
“Go now,” he commanded softly, his voice lingering in my ear. “But don’t take too long. Tomioka may not be the most vicious monster… but he’s not one to underestimate.”
“I understand,” I replied, managing a small smile. “I’ll keep my guard up.”
His gaze lingered on me for a long moment before his grip loosened, and he set me gently back down.
“Farewell, my mate. Be careful,” he said, his voice softened now, almost vulnerable.
I gave him one last reassuring smile before turning to leave the den, the weight of his gaze still on me as I walked away. As I made my way back to the safe house, the tension in my chest slowly eased.
When I arrived, Tamayo and Yushiro were busy preparing medical supplies.
Yushiro glanced up as I emerged from the woods, his expression a mix of confusion and irritation.
“What the hell were you doing out there? You should be helping us pack,” he snapped, his voice laced with annoyance.
“Sorry… just doing some last-minute searching,” I said, chuckling awkwardly.
That was such a terrible excuse…
“Searching? For what, exactly?” he scoffed, clearly unconvinced.
“It doesn’t matter,” Tamayo cut in, her tone gentle but firm. “Y/N, go finish gathering the rest of the supplies.”
I silently thanked her for the save and hurried inside to help with the packing, the dull ache in my shoulder still nagging at me.
————————
Once everything was loaded up, we set out on the road. Climbing uphill, lugging bags full of supplies. This was definitely the last thing I wanted to be doing.
The air grew colder as we traveled further north, though it wasn’t unbearable yet. Still, it made me miss Kyojuro’s warmth, the way he’d wrap himself around me, engulfing me in his heat, making even the coldest nights bearable.
But for now, I pressed on. I made small talk with Tamayo and Yushiro, though the conversation mostly revolved around Giyu Tomioka and what we might face if we encountered him.
If I’m being honest, the thought made me nervous. As Kyojuro’s mate, Tomioka would undoubtedly pick up on his scent, a fellow Hashira’s scent. What concerned me was how he’d react. Would he respect it… or take it as a challenge?
The journey to our destination took about three days. We had to camp out multiple times and take frequent breaks because of the brutal weather. The northern shore was nestled in one of the most inconvenient, hard to reach places.
And this “beach” was anything but inviting. Jagged rocks in place of sand, a gloomy atmosphere hanging over us, and a biting chill in the air. It was a stark contrast to Kyojuro’s warm, vibrant territory.
But then I reminded myself: Giyu Tomioka is known as “The Kraken Hybrid.” A place like this, dark and cold, made far more sense for him than any forest ever would.
“We’re at the heart of it now,” Tamayo announced, her voice cutting through the wind. “We’ll set up camp and the research stations here.”
Yushiro and I exchanged a glance and got to work, picking a spot close enough to keep an eye on the waters but far enough from the high tides that we wouldn’t be caught off guard.
Our setup was decent, but Tamayo hadn’t mentioned how long she planned to stay here. Given the conditions, I hoped it wouldn’t be long.
I was debating whether to head out on my own to try and find Tomioka. With Kyojuro’s scent still on me, he’d be more likely to approach if I was alone. I didn’t want a repeat of what happened in Shinazugawa’s territory, these monsters are cautious around groups. It’s the same with Kyojuro. There’s no way he wasn’t aware of Tamayo’s safe house at the edge of his forest. He had to have known.
Tamayo’s spent her life researching and hunting these creatures, yet none of them have ever come near her. I don’t understand it. Still, I’m determined to bring her something, proof that her years of hard work weren’t all based on conspiracies and old folklore.
I’m hopeful. If we just keep looking, we’ll find something.
It took the rest of the evening to set everything up, and by the time we finished, we were all exhausted. Tamayo eventually sent Yushiro and me to fish by the shoreline. As usual, the silence between us was heavy, almost awkward. I never understood why she was so insistent on pairing us together for tasks like this.
When we got back with our catch, we started a small fire and cooked the fish. Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good, though I couldn’t help but think how much better it would’ve been with the right herbs and spices.
“We’ll rest tonight and begin our search tomorrow,” Tamayo said as we ate. “I want to stay for at least four days, long enough to find something of value.”
Yushiro glanced up from his food. “None of us are familiar with this territory. Where exactly do we start?”
Tamayo paused, considering his question for a moment before responding. “We’ll split up. Y/N, you’ll take one side of the shore, and Yushiro will take the other. Go as far as you can. I’ll cover the beach and the cliffs.”
I looked at her, concern creeping in. “Are you sure that’s safe? That’s a lot of ground to cover on your own.”
She smiled softly, her eyes calm but resolute. “I’ll be fine. You two focus on the shoreline. Pay attention to the water, if there’s any sign of activity, report it. We’ll meet back here before sunset.”
“Understood.” I nodded, but as I stared down at my lap, a dull sting pulsed in my shoulder. Kyojuro’s mark was deeper this time, more intense than usual. Even now, I could still feel the lingering burn of his claim.
I did my best to ignore the ache of the cold as we settled in for the night. The chill seemed to cut deeper out here; Kyojuro’s warm den had really spoiled me.
The ocean’s steady rhythm was soothing, the waves crashing, the wind sweeping through. If only it weren’t so cold, I could almost imagine this place as paradise.
By morning, the sun barely touched the sky. This place seemed locked in a gloomy haze, with a heavy, off-putting atmosphere hanging over everything.
Yushiro and I followed Tamayo’s plan, starting from the center of the shoreline and walking in opposite directions. It was growing frustrating. No matter how far I walked or how long I looked, there was nothing. no sign, no trace, nothing to even hint that something might be lurking here. I found myself scanning the waves for anything, but the ocean remained silent.
This went on for two days. Each morning, we repeated the same routine, and each evening we returned to camp empty-handed. Yushiro’s patience was thinning with each frigid, uneventful day. He’d begun pestering Tamayo to abandon the search early and return home.
But I was convinced we would find something. We had to. I knew these creatures were real. And Giyu Tomioka was out there somewhere.
As the day slipped into night quickly. I sat by the fire, restless and frustrated as Tamayo and Yushiro slept. Was the Kraken Hybrid really this elusive?
Unable to shake the feeling, I rose from my sleeping bag and wandered down to the shoreline, watching the stars scatter across the sky. For all the cloudiness in the mornings, the night sky was surprisingly clear, blanketed in starlight.
I paced along the familiar stretch of beach I’d walked each morning, trying to clear my mind. Of course, Tomioka wasn’t going to just reveal himself to a group of human hunters. He wasn’t foolish, but his ability to stay hidden was annoying.
I walked until the glow of our campfire faded into the distance. Just as I decided to turn back, a splash broke the quiet of the ocean. I whipped my head toward the sound, my heart leaping as I watched ripples spreading across the water. That was no wave… what was it?
Before I could react, something slick and cold wrapped around my ankle. I looked down, my stomach twisting as I saw what looked like a tentacle coiling tightly around me. Then, with a sudden, forceful pull, I was yanked off my feet, hitting the gravelly shore before plunging into the freezing water.
Panic seized me. Saltwater stung my eyes, blurring my vision, but I forced them open. A pair of deep blue eyes stared back at me, unblinking, intense, a stoic gaze that sent a shiver through me despite the water’s chill.
My lungs burned, my heart racing as I tried to pull myself together. I needed air. Desperately, I struggled, kicking hard and paddling toward the surface.
Finally, I broke free, gasping and coughing, my throat raw from the saltwater. My nose ran, my eyes were bloodshot, and my limbs ached from the struggle. But as I gulped down fresh air, I realized something with a strange, thrilling certainty.
I had just encountered Giyu Tomioka.
Shit.
I struggled to paddle toward the shore, my lungs heaving as I gulped for air. The shock of the icy water set my body trembling.
I barely had a moment before another slick tentacle wound around my wrist, followed by another around my ankle, pulling me back. I turned, eyes widening as a dark figure began to emerge from the depths, moving closer to the shore, water cascading down its form.
As my vision cleared, I took him in. Long hair, dark as midnight, framed a face with eyes as deep and cold as the ocean itself. His upper body was muscular, almost human, though gills lined his abdomen. But his lower half tentacles, thick and sinuous, replaced what should have been legs. Despite his stoic expression, he was… beautiful, in a chilling, otherworldly way.
“Why are you here?” he asked, his voice low, resonant.
I hesitated, my mind scrambling for the right words. “My name is Y/N L/N. I’m… a researcher.” That sounded better than ‘hunter.’ “I’m here with—”
His gaze swept over me, his tentacles tightening around my limbs, pinning me effortlessly.
“No… that’s not who you are,” he murmured, his eyes narrowing as he focused on my neck, where Kyojuro’s mark lay hidden beneath my shirt.
“You’re Rengoku’s mate,” he said flatly, a hint of distaste in his tone. “I can smell him all over you. So, tell me, what business does his mate have this far from his territory? You’re miles beyond his borders.” His voice took on a harder edge, and a flicker of irritation crossed his face.
I took a deep breath, steeling myself. He knows who I am, and he definitely doesn’t look thrilled about it.
“Yes, I know I’m far from where I’m supposed to be. But I wasn’t lying, I really am a researcher. And as you’ve probably already guessed, I’m not alone here. To keep it brief, I’m here with my team to prove your existence.”
He blinked, expression blank, then raised a brow. “And you expect me to just expose myself to humans? To become some exhibit in the name of ‘research?’” His voice sharpened, irritation clear.
Damn it. Why was I phrasing this so badly?
“N-no, that’s not what I mean!” I stammered. “We’re only looking for proof that monsters once existed… without disturbing any of you.” I tried to explain, but my words still sounded flimsy.
He tilted his head slightly, watching me intently.
“We’re searching for evidence, anything to show that the guardians of this world weren’t just myths,” I added, my voice betraying my nerves.
“So, you trekked all the way here just to prove I exist?” he asked, his tone skeptical.
I nodded. “Yes. I mean, I know about the Hashira… obviously, since I’m Kyojuro’s mate. But—”
“But you couldn’t sell him out,” he interrupted, his gaze piercing. “Not even for the sake of ‘research,’ could you?”
I let out a sigh, feeling both frustrated and exposed. Was I really that easy to read?
He studied me with an unsettling intensity, his deep blue eyes flickering with something unreadable. His grip didn’t loosen, the tentacles wrapped around my wrist and ankle holding firm.
"How foolish," he finally said, voice low and cold. “Humans always believe they can wade into waters they don’t belong in and remain unscathed. Do you even truly understand what you're meddling with?"
"I… I think I do," I said, trying to keep my voice steady, though my pulse was pounding in my ears. "We don’t want to interfere; we’re just searching for traces, something to prove that monsters, your kind… existed. It’s about respecting history, preserving the truth.”
He gave a quiet scoff, his grip tightening, almost like he was testing my strength. "History. Truth. Words humans cling to when they’re desperate for answers. But do you really want to know the truth?" He leaned closer, his breath brushing my skin like a cold breeze. “What will you do when you find it, human? What will you do when it terrifies you? It appears Rengoku has not told you enough. That alone is concerning.”
What, What does that mean?
My mouth went dry, but I held his gaze. "I’ll face it. Because… some of us still believe in what you once were. Guardians. Protectors."
He stilled, his expression hard to read, but something softened in his eyes, a flicker of surprise.
“You think we still carry that purpose? That we owe humans anything?” His voice was a mix of bitterness and curiosity, a quiet challenge in his tone.
I swallowed, choosing my words carefully. “I think… your existence isn’t owed to anyone. But maybe there’s a reason you’re still here, and maybe we’re meant to remember that reason.”
He looked at me for a long moment, his face unreadable, then released a deep sigh, as though weary.
“Fine. Out of peace and my small remaining of respect for Rengoku. You and your group can stay… for now,” he said at last, his voice almost a reluctant murmur. “But you’ll find nothing else. That will have to make do for you.” His tentacles released me, revealing the suction marks on my arm and leg.
I nodded, a small flicker of relief sparking in my chest, even as my heart still raced.
“Don’t return here with such a foolish reason. Rengoku and I have a truce but it would be irresponsible to abuse it,” he warned, his grip easing as he let me go, leaving my skin cold without his touch. “I’ll be watching. And if I sense even a hint of disrespect, I will not be so forgiving. You and your people will leave soon. I don’t wish to see you return any time soon.” He spoke coldly.
“Yes… I understand.” I finally manage to choke out.
His blue eyes glowed in the night.
"Y/N L/N," he murmured, his voice cold and unyielding, "you’d be wise to tread carefully. There are other Hashira who would not be as… forgiving, so long as you bear that mark. If Rengoku has led you to believe he has no enemies, then he’s as much of a liar as I remember."
With that, he slipped back into the waves, the dark water swallowing him until there was nothing left but silence.
I stood there, reeling. His words echoed in my mind, unsettling and sharp.
A liar? Kyojuro? No… that can’t be right. Kyojuro may be fierce, even terrifying to some, but he’s also warm, compassionate, and always so… open. Sure, he has his intense side, his possessive moments, but a liar? He’s never seemed anything but honest, at least with me. Or so I’d thought.
I glanced down at my wrist, the fresh marks from his tentacles still vivid. I had to play this off right, I was soaked, freezing, and shaken after encountering Tomioka, so it wouldn’t be hard to look convincing. I hurried back to camp.
“Tamayo! Yushiro!” I called out, rushing toward the fire where they were sleeping.
Yushiro grumbled, half-asleep, while Tamayo sat up slowly, rubbing her eyes. "What’s going on, Y/N?" she asked, her voice still groggy.
I knelt down in front of her, catching my breath, and held up my wrist. Tamayo’s eyes widened as she took in the marks, my drenched clothes, and my shivering frame. She reached for my hand, her smile growing with every detail.
Yushiro finally woke up, blinking in surprise as he noticed the marks on my wrist. Shock and disbelief crossed his face.
Tamayo quickly ushered me into the tent. “Come now, let’s get you warmed up and take a closer look at these!”
Inside, she helped me out of my soaked clothes and handed me a dry blanket. She lit a lantern, inspecting the marks on my wrist and leg while scribbling excitedly in her notebook.
“Did he speak to you? Why did he grab you? Was he angry?” she asked, her questions coming rapid-fire.
I explained that I’d gone for a walk because I couldn’t sleep and had wandered too close to the sea. “I think… he may have thought I was prey or something,” I added, as casually as I could manage.
Tamayo nodded, jotting down every word with satisfaction, pausing only for a few follow up questions. Seeing her so pleased was a relief. After all the times I’d come back empty handed, I’d finally managed to make her happy. That, at least, felt like a victory.
——————-
The hike back felt just as awful and exhausting as the one coming in. Our journey home took nearly as long as our initial trek, with the weight of the distance settling heavily on my shoulders. Tamayo was eager to return and report her findings, while I couldn’t shake the anticipation of finally seeing Kyojuro. I missed him, more than I cared to admit, but there were now new questions I needed answered.
When we finally reached the cabin, we were greeted by a few of the other hunters. I helped Tamayo and Yushiro unload, my mind already drifting to the promise I made to Kyojuro. Food offerings. I couldn’t come back empty handed. he’d make such a fuss if I did. And the last thing I needed was for him to get all upset and pouty.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I finished helping and excused myself to the kitchen. I carefully prepared the offerings, making sure to include all his favorites. My heart raced a little as I arranged them, the thought of him looming over every movement.
Surely he would be pleased with these. I was gone what? Around a week two weeks total? That’s quite a while, but I got his permission, so he can’t be too angry with me.
As I slipped quietly back into the woods, I glanced down at my wrist. The marks from Tomioka's tentacles had faded, but they were still visible, a subtle reminder of what had passed. Of course, Kyojuro would notice them. He had a knack for being... dramatic when it came to anything remotely concerning me. I could trip and scrape my knee, and he’d insist on us cuddling for what felt like hours, as if that alone would make everything better.
Am I complaining? Maybe a little. But, deep down, I know I shouldn’t. After all, at least he wasn’t a heartless monster.
The forest path seemed to stretch on forever as I made my way back to the den. But the moment I stepped inside, the familiar clicking began. Slowly, Kyojuro emerged from the shadows, his crimson eyes glowing in the dark, a sharp, predatory smile spreading across his face. I set down the food I was holding, and smile at him happily.
"My little human, my mate! You’ve returned!" His voice rumbled with delight, and before I could react, his tail wrapped tightly around my waist, pulling me in close.
He sniffed eagerly, his nose brushing against my chest before he nuzzled into me, demanding affection. And, of course, I gave in, my fingers running through his fur as he purred loudly, tail tightening possessively around me.
"You smell like the ocean," he growled lowly, his voice thick with something primal. The intensity of his gaze never wavered as he held me in his embrace.
I could feel the warmth of his body radiating through the layers of my clothing, the undeniable presence of him filling the space around us. His scent, a mixture of fire and earth, was comforting in its own way, grounding me after the long journey. But the ocean, he couldn’t stand the trace of salt and waves that clung to me after my time with Giyu.
"You know," I murmured, my fingers still tracing the curve of his tail, "it’s not like I went swimming in the ocean. Just a little... coastal air."
His growl deepened, almost playful now, as if he didn’t quite believe me. "Coastal air, hm?" His eyes gleamed in the dim light, as though he could smell the exact essence of what had happened, and every part of him was keenly aware of it. His grip on me tightened, but not in anger, more like a quiet claim, a silent assertion that I was his, no matter where I’d been.
Kyojuro pulled back slightly, his gaze still locked on me as he gave a slow, exaggerated sniff of the air. “I can still smell him.” His voice was steady, but the tension in his tone was unmistakable.
I sighed inwardly, but I didn’t try to pull away. “Kyojuro... it’s not like that. Tomioka just—”
“Tomioka,” he interrupted, his voice turning sharper, though his hands were gentle as he cupped my face. “I see he hasn’t the common decency to not touch what not his.” His gaze shifts down to my wrist, though there was a flicker of possessiveness beneath the surface. “But you’re mine. Always.”
There it was again, that crazy intensity. That overwhelming, fierce loyalty that I both feared and craved. The way he could consume every thought, every moment, with just a glance. I tried to breathe past the lump in my throat, but the reality of his words settled over me, heavy and consuming.
“I’m yours,” I whispered, not even needing to say it to reassure him, but more to remind myself.
His sharp smile returned, his tail loosening its grip just enough to allow me to breathe fully again. “Good,” he purred, the possessiveness in his voice morphing into something deeper, more intimate. “Because I don’t share.”
Oh fuck…how did that sentence send shivers down my spine?
He leaned in, his face so close to mine, and I couldn’t help it, my hands slid over the fur on his shoulders, drawing him closer. His growl deepened as his tongue flicked over my bottom lip, his teeth grazing over the skin, sending sparks through me. And when he finally sealed our lips together, I melted into the kiss. It was fierce, possessive, overwhelming... all the things he was and more.
I had missed this, these moments of pure abandon. He knew exactly what to do to make me moan, what to make me lose myself in the moment. And by the time we broke apart, I was breathless and trembling, my core aching with need.
"Did you miss me?" he asked, the low echo in his voice was smooth and low, his tone already turning dark and filthy. "Is my mate craving something?" His voice rumbled through the air.
And fuck, I couldn't lie, i didn’t want to just give in so quickly, I wanted to pretend that I hadn't missed him this much, that I didn't want him. But I did, oh God how I did.
“Yes,” I admitted, barely above a whisper. “I want you, Kyojuro.”
He let out a low growl, a purr rumbling through his chest. “Good human,” he murmured against my neck now, his claws already moving to my pants. “You know how I feel about these obnoxious clothes you wear…. Take them off.” He didn’t wait for my answer, his mouth trailing down my neck, nipping and biting at my skin, making my heart beat fast.
"Take off your clothes now," he demanded again, his sharp claws pulled at my pants as I fumbled to untie them. "And let me see you." The command in his voice sent shivers down my body.
I did as he asked, shedding the rest of my clothes until I was completely naked in front of him. He stepped back and let out a sharp growl of approval before his clawed fingers ran up my thighs, my ass. And he finally wrapped his whole hand around my waist.
His touch burned over my skin, searing in its intensity. My breath caught as he firmly held me, pulling me closer until the heat of his cock pressed against me. The softness of his fur rubbed against me, making my skin tingle. I shivered in his arms, my pulse racing as his hands and tail explored my body. But he was too skilled, too attuned to my needs. It didn’t take long for me to find myself writhing in his grasp, aching for him.
"Please," I whispered. "Kyojuro, please—"
He stilled, and for a moment, I thought he’d just keep teasing me. Then he leaned in, nipping at my ear with a low growl.
“Look at that,” he breathed, his voice rough and thick with need. “My little human, desperate for my cock.” His tail wrapped around my thigh, lifting me up and positioning me just where he wanted. “Don’t worry, my mate, I’ll make it feel so good. I'll fill you with my seed until you're full of my scent. No more salt and ocean. Just me.” And with that, he thrust his thick cock into me roughly, making me cry out in surprise.
His girth stretched me so wide it hurt. He was merciless, holding me up and pounding me hard, my body struggling to accommodate him due to our time apart. My breasts bounced with each thrust, and the sound of my wetness echoed around the den, it was both humiliating and arousing.
"You’re so wet," he rumbled, his breath hot against my ear. "You love this, don’t you? My little human missed me." He nipped at my ear, his tongue running over the lobe. "Taking my cock. Being mine. You’ll never be full of any other’s scent. Not when you’re my mate.” His hands tightened, gripping me so hard, there would no doubt be bruises later.
He didn’t let me reply, his lips claiming mine as he fucked me. My mind blurred, my body consumed by the pleasure. He wasn’t gentle, not this time, and I loved him for it. He fucked me hard and rough, using my body for his pleasure. But he also knew every spot to hit, every spot that would send me over the edge.
“I wanted to be gentle with you,” he growled between thrusts. “But after not seeing you for so long, I just can’t hold back.”
The click of his voice vibrated against my skin.
And the orgasm, oh God, it built quick. There was no slowing it down, no stopping it, as it crested and crashed through me, leaving me screaming into the darkness. He didn’t stop fucking me though, not until I'd come multiple times on his cock.
Finally, when I couldn’t take it anymore and my body trembled from exhaustion, he pulled out. His tail released its hold on me, letting me slide down to my knees, where I fell onto the soft ground, my legs weak.
He stood over me, panting softly, his cock still hard. His eyes gleamed as they roved over my body before he leaned over me and gripped my hips, forcing me onto my fours.
“I know you are tired beautiful human… but I’m afraid I’m not satisfied.” His tail wrapped around my ankle and pulled my legs apart.
I could hear his low chuckle as I tried to catch my breath. “This hole has never been used before…” I felt his tongue lick up my ass. My eyes widen and my body shivered. No way… he was not about to— “It looks so good all pink and wet.” I moaned as he lapped at my rim. “You want me here?” he asked with a chuckle.
"Kyojuro," I gasped, my breath coming short. "No...please, you can’t."
His laughter only deepened, his large hands spreading my cheeks roughly apart. “It’s not for my own pleasure. My mate needs to be fully claimed by me. You smell like ocean, so it must be done,” he said as he pressed his tongue against my rim, teasing it in a way that made me cry out and writhe in his hold.
He kept up that torture for what felt like an age. Licking my ass, his tongue sliding through my cum as he used it to lubricate my rim, sliding it in and out slowly. I squirmed and whimpered, overwhelmed, and his low growls only grew more pleased.
Then, once my rim was nice and stretched out, he finally stood over me again, his cock hovering over my ass. He pushed the tip inside of me, and I cried out, my body trying to clench down.
"It’s okay, my mate," he murmured softly, his voice gentler now. “It’ll sting a bit at first but I’ll take care of you.” His hands stroked my back gently and he slowly pushed his cock deeper inside of me.
I clenched down, trying to stop the pain, but he kept pushing. He stretched my ass out wide with his thickness, filling me so completely I felt I might burst. My whimpers and cries filled the air as I struggled to bare the sensation, even as it was edged with pleasure.
But when he was finally seated fully in my ass, my body gave into the sensation and I moaned, my muscles relaxing.
He let out a deep growl and wrapped his tail around my body, pulling me back against him as he started to move. "This feels amazing," he rasped, he purred, clicking loudly in pleasure.
I felt full and tight, every thrust making me writhe and clench down on his cock, the pleasure mingling with the pain in a way that was maddening. But I didn’t have the ability to think, not while his tail wrapped around my body, holding me in place as he fucked my ass.
He began to move faster, my moans and his growls echoing through the den now. His tail tightened around my waist and his teeth sunk into my neck. I felt him grow thicker inside of me and then I felt him fill my ass with his seed.
"Fuck! It’s so warm and wet..." he growled, his moans growing more desperate as he kept emptying his cum inside of me. The sound of it dripping out of my ass filled the den. I felt his knot expand keeping what could be contained inside of me. I tried to clench down but he held my body still as he continued to come. I moaned and wiggled in his grasp.
"You’re mine," he growled deeply. "I can’t share you with anyone."
And with that, he held me there, his cock still buried deep in my ass, until his knot finally released and he collapsed next to me on the ground. I was exhausted from his fucking, and my body ached in the most delicious way.
He pulled out of my ass, making me gasp as his cum only spilled out of me more. He wrapped me in his tail and nuzzled his face in my neck.
"Sleep little human," he growled softly. "I’ll take good care of you, always."
I felt him pick me up, carrying me to our nest. He laid me down and wrapped around me, holding me securely. This was the warmth I had missed. Despite my body being so sore and exhausted, I was completely blissed out.
I fell into a deep sleep knowing I was safe, knowing I was loved, and knowing he’d always protect me. And the ocean would no longer be a problem. Not after Kyojuro had me all to himself. I smiled, snuggling in his arms.
————————
When I finally awoke, it was to him licking my neck. "Good morning, my little human," he purred. His claws slid through my hair.
I rub my eyes opening them slightly to adjust to the light. The sun had risen, and its warmth filtered through the trees.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked, his voice a soft rumble.
"Yeah," I answered, still groggy. "How long have you been awake?"
"A while," he chuckled. "I wanted to make sure you got enough rest." I sighed, feeling relaxed and content. But as I shifted, a dull ache throbbed through me.
"Your body will be sore for a few days," he said, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "You took me so well. It makes me proud to have such a good mate."
"Thanks," I mumbled. "I guess."
"Are you hungry?" he asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah, a little," I said, stretching.
Kyojuro’s eyes gleamed, his tail curling around my leg possessively as he shifted to sit up, still keeping me close. “Good. I’ll catch us something fresh,” he said, the hint of a playful smirk tugging at his lips. “But don’t you move a muscle. Rest those sore limbs. I’ll be back in no time.”
I watched him rise, his form lit by the morning sun as he stretched, flexing his muscles with a lazy confidence. “What about the offerings I made you, we could just eat those.” I suggest.
He chuckled lowly and shook his head. “As much as I love you my mate. You made those offerings for me. And if there’s one thing I won’t share with you… it’s the gifts you bring me.” He smiled playfully his tail wagging almost like a dog.
He gave me one last intense look, as if memorizing every detail before he turned, disappearing into the woods.
Left alone, I sank back into our nest, feeling the lingering warmth he’d left behind. My body was sore, as he’d warned, but there was something comforting about the ache, a reminder of just how much we’d missed each other. The birds were chirping, and a soft breeze drifted through the trees, rustling the leaves. I closed my eyes, letting myself be lulled by the forest’s quiet rhythm, still wrapped in the warmth of last night’s memory.
Before long, the sound of Kyojuro’s footsteps drew closer. I opened my eyes as he emerged from the shadows, carrying fresh game in one hand, his eyes bright and eager. He set it down, then moved over to sit beside me again, his tail flicking with satisfaction. “Told you I’d be quick,” he said, as he leaned in to brush a stray strand of hair from my face.
“Impressive,” I murmured, smiling up at him.
He tilted his head, amber eyes softening as he took me in. “Impressive is having you back in my arms,” he murmured, voice lowering. “There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to keep you here.”
The intensity in his gaze sent a familiar flutter through me, that possessive spark still so alive and undeniable. And as I reached out to touch his hand, I knew the same warmth would pull me back, over and over again.
Kyojuro held both my hands in one of his as if they were the most fragile things ever, a completely contrast to the night before. He raised my hands to his face nuzzling against him, brushing a warm kiss across my knuckles. “I want you to feel safe, always,” he murmured, the conviction in his voice sending a shiver down my spine.
I squeezed his hand, taking in the steady heat of him, grounding me in the moment. “With you, I do,” I whispered. “It’s like… nothing could ever hurt me here.”
He smiled, a hint of pride flickering in his eyes. “That’s how it should be.” Then, with a playful tilt of his head, he added, “But I might need to remind you every now and then, just to be sure.”
I laughed softly, shaking my head. “Always so protective.”
“Of course,” he replied, a low rumble in his chest. “I’d fight the every monster in the world if they tried to take you from me.” He leaned in closer, his gaze unyielding. “You’re mine.”
The intensity in his voice stirred something deep inside me, a thrill mixed with reassurance. “And you’re mine,” I replied, reaching up to trace the line of his jaw, feeling the strength in his muscles as he leaned into my touch. “No one else, nothing else matters.”
His eyes softened, the fire in them shifting to something warm and tender. “Good,” he whispered, then bent down to press a lingering kiss against my forehead. “Now,” he said, his voice lighter, “how about some food? You’ll need your strength if we’re going to spend the day together.”
“Sounds perfect,” I replied, feeling a renewed warmth spreading through me.
I prepared the food over a small fire with practiced ease, never straying too far, as if I couldn’t bear to be away. And as we shared the meal, surrounded by the gentle sounds of the forest, I felt something settle within me—a deep, unshakeable peace, knowing I was exactly where I was meant to be.
The first few days back at Kyojuro’s den going back and forth like I usually did. The days were a whirlwind of passion and comfort. We spent hours exploring each other’s bodies, the weeks of separation making every touch feel new and electric. His fur was just as soft as I remembered, his eyes just as intense. And the way he’d hold me at night, his tail coiled around me, made me feel like I was home.
I knew I had to talk to him about Tomioka. I wanted to know the history between them. Tomioka said kyojuro had enemies, that he was a liar. And that part genuinely unsettled me. No matter how hard I tried to push it down.
The thought gnawed at me, even in moments of warmth and ease, like a shadow lurking just beyond the firelight. I had questions, and I needed answers.
One evening, as we lay entwined in our nest, his breathing slow and steady beside me, I finally gathered the courage. I shifted slightly, just enough for him to sense I was awake. He glanced down, eyes gleaming with that familiar, protective warmth, his arms wrapping tighter around me.
“Kyojuro,” I began, voice barely above a whisper. “Can we talk?”
“Of course,” he murmured, his expression softening. “Anything, my mate.”
I hesitated, searching his gaze, feeling the weight of the words I was about to say. “When I was with Tomioka… he mentioned things. He spoke of enemies you might have. That there were… conflicts, even lies.” My voice faltered as his eyes grew darker, the warmth in them receding.
He held my gaze for a long, tense moment, his expression unreadable. Finally, he sighed, a sound filled with something I couldn’t quite name, was it regret? Resignation? “Giyu…” He spoke his name like a wound he was trying to close. “He’s not wrong, not entirely. There are… old tensions among us, unspoken alliances and rivalries. The Hashira, we each walk our own path. Sometimes, those paths cross in ways that are less than ideal.”
I felt a chill, like a draft sneaking into the den. “And what about the lies?” I asked, unable to mask the tremor in my voice.
He closed his eyes briefly, his clawed thumb brushing my cheek in slow, soothing strokes. “There are things I’ve kept from you, yes, but not out of deception. I wanted you to feel safe here with me, untouched by the struggles I face.”
“But I need to know, Kyojuro,” I pressed, the urgency rising in my voice. “If there are things out there that could put us in danger, if there are people who’d come after you, don’t I deserve to know?”
A spark of pain flickered in his eyes, and he nodded, a reluctant acceptance settling over him. “Yes. You deserve to know everything.” He paused, his voice taking on a new gravity. “There are other Hashira who don’t agree with my… my methods, or the way I’ve have chosen to live my life. They see it as a corrupt, and wrong. Giyu is cautious, wary. He wanted to warn you, perhaps hoping you’d run away.”
The words struck me harder than I’d expected, and I found myself reaching for his hand, squeezing it tightly. “I’m not running away. No matter what.”
He smiled, the slightest edge of vulnerability showing in his fierce gaze. “I know you wouldn’t.” His clawed fingers traced my palm, lingering there, as if trying to reassure himself of my presence. “But if Giyu or anyone else threatens what we have… I won’t hesitate to protect you. Even if it means facing my past and the ones I once called allies.”
We fell silent, the weight of his confession settling between us, mingling with the night air. It was a silence heavy with truth, with the understanding that we were bound by forces beyond ourselves.
As he pulled me close, nuzzling against the top of my head, I felt the strength of his vow in every touch, every breath. And while uncertainty lingered, so too did an unbreakable trust, a quiet promise that, no matter the challenges, we would face them together.
The night deepened, a stillness settling over us that carried both comfort and an edge of unease. Kyojuro’s warmth enveloped me, his breath steady against my skin, and for a while, we lay in silence, just listening to each other’s heartbeats. I wanted to let go of my worries, to lose myself in the safety of his embrace, but Tomioka’s words still echoed in my mind, a reminder that nothing was as simple as I’d once thought.
As if sensing my thoughts, Kyojuro tightened his hold, his hand holding my back. “There’s more to it than even Giyu understands,” he murmured, breaking the silence. “I’ve had to make choices that others wouldn’t, things the other Hashira see as betrayals.”
“Betrayals?” I whispered, unsure if I wanted to know more, yet unable to stop myself from asking.
He nodded, a somber look in his eyes. “Not everyone agrees with the way I protect or take what’s mine. To them, I’m reckless. They don’t understand… that love isn’t a weakness. That it gives me strength.” His eyes softened, that fierce possessiveness tempered by a tenderness that left me breathless. “And that strength is why I’ll always protect you, even if it costs me.”
I reached up, my hand finding his cheek, and he leaned into my touch, his eyes slipping closed. “I don’t want you to give up everything just for me,” I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. “I don’t want you to be alone in this.”
“You’re here,” he replied, his voice a low rumble, the barest hint of a smile curving his lips. “That’s all I need.”
For a moment, it felt like nothing else mattered, that the forest around us, the Hashira, the threats they posed, all of it faded in the face of what we shared. But even as I held him close, I knew there were things left unsaid, truths lurking beneath the surface.
We spent the next few days in a fragile peace, an unspoken understanding passing between us. Kyojuro was attentive, almost more than usual, as if determined to make up for the tension between us. He brought me fresh food every morning, wrapped me in his warmth each night, and filled the hours between with quiet affection. His hands were always on me, grounding, reassuring, and in those moments, I almost forgot the dark clouds that loomed over us.
But the shadow of Tomioka’s warning still hung in the background, a persistent reminder that there were others out there who didn’t share Kyojuro’s loyalty. And one evening, as I watched him prowl the edge of the den, his gaze sharp and alert, I felt a pang of worry I couldn’t ignore.
“Kyojuro,” I called softly, breaking him from his vigil. He looked over, his eyes immediately softening as they met mine.
“Yes, my mate?” he asked, crossing the distance to sit beside me. His tail curled around me instinctively, pulling me close.
“Do you think… they’ll ever try to hurt us?” I asked, forcing the words out even though my heart clenched at the thought.
His jaw tightened, a shadow flickering across his expression. “I’d be lying if I said some of them wouldn’t try,” he admitted. “But they’d be fools to underestimate what I’d do to keep you safe.” His voice was low, deadly, a reminder of the strength that lay just beneath his warmth.
I nodded, finding comfort in his resolve, but a small part of me couldn’t shake the fear. “And if they come… will you tell me?” I asked, my gaze steady, my voice as firm as I could make it.
He hesitated, his fingers brushing over mine. “I’ll never leave you in the dark again,” he promised, his eyes searching mine with a sincerity that took my breath away. “We’ll face whatever comes together.”
As he pulled me into his arms, his words settled over me like a shield, a reminder that, no matter the dangers, we had each other. And though uncertainty lingered, for the first time, I felt a quiet sense of resolve, a strength that mirrored his, a fierce determination to stand by his side, no matter what.
In that moment, I knew that whatever lay ahead, I was ready.
“Ummm Yushiro are you sure…? Lady Tamayo could come in any moment now…”
“Shhh! Not if you stay quiet!”
He whispered-yelled to you.
He kissed you in a rushed manner, wanting to do this quickly in fear of getting caught.
It was deep and passionate, and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
You moaned into the kiss and he licked your bottom lip, asking for entry… but you were too shy.
But Yushiro wouldn’t have it.
He slapped your ass which made you yelp, and he slipped his tongue in quickly.
He gripped your hips harshly and pinned you against the wall of his room.
Your tongues entwining, he started to grind quickly into you.
Finally he pulled away for air, a string attached. you both panted and he said in a low voice,
“are you sure you’re alright with this?”
He took a hand from your hip to caress your cheek lovingly.
Your cheeks flush, you nodded. You completely trusted him.
                                                                ~
He’s pounding into you, at an inhuman pace.
Your eyes roll to the back of your head as the overwhelming pleasure takes hold of you. The lewd smacking of skin as he came in and out of you echoed against the walls. He had you against it, legs wrapped around his waist. You moan out his name, holding on to his back desperately, nails scratching at his skin.
 Yushiro ruts his cock in and out of you quickly, whimpering every time he sheaths it all the way back into you.
 “F-fuck… Y/n… S-so tigh- ugh…”
 the feeling of you pulling him in drives him crazy. He pulls you into another heated kiss, mouth open, sloppily making out. When he pulls away and looks at your fucked-out face, he groans and somehow went faster, making you throw back your head, pleasure making you dizzy, unable to hold back your moans or keep quiet.
 "you're.. you're not been very.. hng.. quiet, p-people might.. hah.. hear." he spews out, his words dripping with lust and desperation. however, despite his statement, he doesn't really want you to be quiet. He wants everyone to hear how good hes making you feel. That you’re his. He litters your neck and collarbone with hickeys, sucking harshly while still keeping pace with his thrusts. “Y-yushiro! I-I’m gonna- hah, cum!” You yell, tugging his hair. He goes faster still, and you can feel the knot in your stomach building up more and more… Until finally you climaxed. He moved more slowly, riding out your orgasm. Your walls clamped down on him, making him reach his climax as well. He slips out of your hole and comes on your stomach.
You collapse into his arms, and he takes you carefully into the bathing room. “You did so well, my love…” He whispered in your ear,
Warm breath tickling it and sending shivers down your spine.
Now he had to clean you up. Forget about himself, the most important person in his life is you, and he always puts you first.
as he sets up the bath, he glanced at you, suddenly shy at seeing your naked body.
he took his merry time looking over you despite worrying about someone walking in, appreciating, kissing, worshipping every part of you. He was awestruck by your beauty.
How could such a perfect mortal exist?!!?
He had glided his hands over your curves and made sure to find all your sensitive and sweet spots, making a mental note and enjoying every last bit of hearing the sweet moans that would escape your lips. He looked at you now, still panting, sweat droplets coated your skin almost too perfectly, the red hue on your cheeks and the hickeys that marked you as his almost got him hard again.
No! This is y/n’s first time! She needs to rest now. I cannot be selfish and give in to my desires.
“My love, the bath is ready.”
You were sitting on the floor. Your legs felt weak from how hard he fucked you.
He took you into his arms and walked into the bathtub slowly.
You sat down, the water reaching almost up to your shoulders.
You sighed contently, the warmness comforting your body.
Yushiro began to wash you gently, with care and love.
“Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” He asked worriedly.
“N-no I’m fine…” You blushed, looking away from his admiring eyes.
You hesitantly nudged closer to him, until you were in his arms,
Head in the crook of his neck. You closed your eyes. You were surprised at how tired you were. You let yourself drift off, trusting Yushiro to take care of you.
                                               ```````````````````````
