ㅋᩚ ㅋᩚ Too sweet skater girl | le ssera, yunjin!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing huh yunjin & fem reader. lesbians 🔛🔝
genre fluff (in my personal opinion 🤓☝)
doei speaks! hot skater girl yunjin what more do i need to say? ++ dividers came from xxbimbobunnyxx <3
Tumblr media
it was around 11:20 p.m. and you were currently at your local skate park practicing some moves you'd seen done on tiktok.
the atmosphere was something special around this time. the moon had illuminated you and the rest of the park, with the help of some nearby streetlights, and no one else was in sight.
your headphones were blasting in your ears, and all you could hear was your favorite song.
too sweet by hozier. (even if its not we're PRETENDING it is 🤓)
everything felt more comfortable in times like these. nobody was around to bother you, and it felt as though your responsibilities and pressures had drifted away from you, even if the feeling lasted simply for an hour.
you'd take that over nothing.
you were too focused on nailing this one trick that you just couldn't seem to get, sitting on the ledge of the vert-ramp, when you felt someone tap your shoulder.
"OH MY GOD WHAT THE FU—" you exclaimed as the person clearly startled you. you jumped and shifted to the left to see who tapped your shoulder when your jaw practically dropped.
the HOTTEST, and i mean HOTTEST, girl you've ever seen was crouched right next to you.
her hair was like a washed out orange color, it kinda reminded you of fall and how you'd sometimes spot brown-ish leaves on the ground. she had on a black cap and an over-sized white shirt and some baggy jeans (no nct😔✊🏾).
what interested you the most was the skateboard she had resting beside her. pantone 7453c, also known as fearless blue, and had the phrase "IM FEARLESS" plastered on it in graffiti style.
the girl tilted her head and had a rather confused look on her face. "i was watching you from over there," she pointed to the other side of the street, "and i couldn't help but notice something. were you attempting the madonna a few minutes ago?"
you opened your mouth to respond and-
"goddamn, you're so fine."
...
"you know you said that out-loud, right?" ... "i did?"
... "SHIT I DID!"
the girl only laughed at your response. now if you were her in this situation, you would've left right around now.
you didn't want to even imagine how cringe you probably sounded to her, but when you focused on her expression, she looked almost flattered by it.
"you're not too bad yourself. y'know, you're lucky i'm into girls. maybe you've got a shot." she winked at you, and your hands flew to your face in an attempt to hide the flustered reaction her words caused you, which was followed by her bursting out in laughter only harder this time.
the atmosphere in the skate-park had now changed in only a few minutes of talking to her, and to be 100% honest, you weren't exactly mad at it.
instead of being annoyed by the sounds of her loud-ass laughter, you were infatuated by it. she had this charm factor about her.
"s-shut up talking like that! i don't even know your name, do you flirt with every girl you see?" you exclaimed. she could tell you were trying your best to cover up how embarrassed you were so she went with it.
"nah, i just flirt with the cute ones," she grinned, "the name's yunjin."
yunjin..yunjin. you swore you've heard that name before.
smiling back at her, you extended your arm and dapped her up. "i'm (yn). y'know, is it just me or does your name sounds familiar?"
.
.
"i mean no shit it's familiar, it's literally my name."
"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!"
you rolled your eyes at the girl. she winked again before pulling out her phone. as you stared the case you could see it read, "HUH YUNJIN."
huh yunjin. huh. that name really sounds SO familiar.
the feeling of, "do i know her," overtook your mind and you began spacing out. so much so that you didn't even realize she had put her phone back in her pocket and was now standing beside you.
yunjin called your name but got no response.
she called your name again.
yunjin then proceeded to kick you in the leg which seemed to do the trick.
"ow, what the hell!" you hissed, clutching your leg in pain. she only shrugged. "stop thinking so hard then and ride me. I MEAN—ride WITH me."
"nuh-uh, don't try to clean it up now! you basically just asked me to have se-"
"SHUT UP AND GRAB YOUR SKATEBOARD (YN) I'M GONNA TEACH YOU THIS TRICK!"
and so that was the night you learned how to do the madonna.
Tumblr media
you were headed to the skate park to meet your favorite girl, yunjin. after your first meeting, the two of you exchanged numbers and met up often.
it had become somewhat of a routine of yours. you'd wake up, do whatever boring shit you needed to do for the day, go home, and wait until around 11 before leaving to hang out with her.
something about yunjin was a breath of fresh air to you. i mean, you two had gotten so close that you began sharing some of your thoughts with her, even the non-skateboarding related ones.
no matter how late it was, she was there to listen, and something about that in itself made you feel...
loved?
maybe cared for was a better way to put it but whatever the feeling was, you wanted to feel that way forever.
and you hoped you made her feel the same way.
as you made it to the park your eyes instinctively scanned over the area for her but... she wasn't anywhere to be seen.
usually when she was running late she'd text you as a heads-up so this concerned you. i mean what if something happened to her? it is pretty late, what if she had been kidnapped or something?
but then again, knowing her, she'd probably piss off her kidnapper.
.... WHICH COULD RESULT IN HER MURDER??
you whipped your phone out of your pocket and called yunjin, hoping she'd pick up and just say she didn't feel like coming, as long as she was safe it didn't matter.
"hey (yn), you-"
"yunjin are you okay?"
there was a pause.
"oh i'm fine. i totally forgot to text you didn't i? i'm just grabbing something but i'm on my way now."
you smiled. not just because she was still coming but just knowing everything she okay made you feel at ease. but this feeling of gratitude didn't last long before she added, "it's cute that you worried about me."
even through the phone you could hear her smirking. of course you had to fall for such a cocky, beautiful, talented, kind human being. yunjin had every quality that you wanted in a partner but you weren't 100% sure she reciprocated your feelings.
i mean sure, she flirted with you, but then again one time you two went to target and she almost got the cashiers phone number sooo..
"whatever loser, i just didn't need my friend getting kidnapped. it'd totally kill my vibe." you lied. she let out a hum before saying she was close, so you two hung up.
it was only four minutes later when she showed up, target bags in one hand, skateboard in the other. she joined you on the bench, setting one of the bags next to her feet and the other on her lap.
"you didn't go back to see that cashier, did you?" you questioned, half joking but half serious. yunjin laughed. "(yn) jealous era?"
you only shrugged and let out a quiet maybe. she shook her head, "don't worry, i'd never dream of it when i've got you."
AHEM??
her statement shocked you to say the least. internally, you were freaking out. yunjin could tell.
before you could reply back, she stopped you. she opened the bag, and pulled out two spray paint cans.
"what're you planning to do with those?" you pointed to the cans. "yunjin's in her artist era now?"
she giggled at your teasing. every interaction you two had was just fun, this type of relationship felt so carefree...if that made sense? the both of you just kinda let go with one another.
she pointed towards your skateboard, "i thought we should make yours look actually cool? plain is totally boring."
"well you say that like yours is better? like what? are we gonna match or something?" you joked.
yunjin scratched the back of her head, slightly moving the position of her cap in the process. "well...i kinda wanted to.."
the look on her face after saying this was different than anything you've seen from her. it was more nervous, unsure of herself, non-confident.
she felt tense as your eyes scanned over her face. it was as if you were studying her expressions, could you really tell a change just from that?
yunjin cleared her throat in an attempt to take off some pressure, "unless you don't want to. that's cool."
she avoided eye contact until you put your hand on-top of hers.
"it's cool."
you two sat there quietly, digesting the conversation, before moving. the silence was nice. you two rarely had moments like that before but you noticed they were happening more often.
you two could be just talking and suddenly it'd get quiet. you'd look at yunjin, she'd look at you, and it was like your eyes spoke.
if looks could talk, you two would've been together by now.
Tumblr media
"this looks like shit."
"(yn)!! don't say that, we haven't even finished!"
but it was true, your skateboard looked so bad. if anyone else had done this to it, you would've freaked out. but it was yunjin.
she insisted on continuing although it was basically ass, so you two continued. after about twenty minutes she finished (you tapped out around the ten minute mark and opted to lie in the grass instead).
"all it has to do is dry now." she stated, walking to lie next to you.
the sky looked so pretty at that moment. the stars covered everywhere your eyes could see, and the moon, the moon shone as brightly as ever.
but something else was prettier in your opinion. you turned your head and met the eyes of yunjin, who was staring at you with the softest expression. to her, you were perfect like this.
"yunjin, you're staring."
she sighed, letting out the softest, "i know."
you two were doing the thing again. staring that led to nothing else, unfortunately. yunjin might've realized that too, because she turned her head back to the night sky.
it fell silent. a comfortable silence.
but this isn't what you wanted. something came over you, and it was urging you to just confess. you really like yunjin. that's a fact.
if you had a wikipedia page, there'd be a section all about your love for yunjin.
okay that might be an overstatement but you get the point.
you inhaled quietly before turning back to face her, it's now or never. well not literally but this is the perfect time.
she felt your eyes shift and turned to look at you.
"yunjin," you grabbed on the bottom of your shirt out of anxiousness, "i don't know...i don't know if you know this already but, i like you. and i'm not saying this lightly, i'm certain of it. everything about you is perfect to me and i've never felt this way about anyone else. you're so-"
you were cut off by her lips gently pressing against yours.
the kiss was short but sweet. you wouldn't have traded it for the world. and after she pulled away, it left you wanting more.
"i know that was sudden but uh, you just looked so fucking good. and i thought since you like me, and i like you too, it'd be cool."
you nodded your head slowly. "don't worry, it was cool. i really liked it."
she nodded too. "y'know, you're the prettiest girl i've ever seen. i'm overall glad i met you."
with that being said, you and yunjin laid together in the grass, under the moonlight, knowing by tomorrow you'd be more than friends.
and that was a nice thought.
Tumblr media
"hey yunjin, can i ask you something?" you whispered. by this point, she was laying on top of your chest, fighting off sleep.
"mhmm..." she muttered.
"what was in the other bag?"
yunjin rubbed her eyes and yawned. "oh. y'know how you were going on and on about my name being familiar?"
you hummed and she continued saying, "turns out there's an idol with a similar name to me, huh yeo-jin, whoever the hell that is i dunno. so i bought some photo-cards of her."
oh. you laughed.
who the hell is that?
Tumblr media
End!ㅤ

“I love you”
“I love you”
You both say at the same time, just part you agreement with your best friend yunjin on a random weekend, saying what's on your minds.
No filters, no holding back.
Just the truth and only the truth.
It's quiet, both of you don't say a word to each other, but the pink blush on both of your faces tells everything you both need to know, only the sound of the waves coming from the empty beach echoes in your ears, but eventually Yunjin breaks the silence first.
“For how long?”
A small sigh comes from your mouth before you speak while looking at the waves moving back and forth. “3 Years, since Senior year of high school”.
“Oh…” she says, now looking at the beach as well, a couple seconds of silence before its your turn to ask
“How about you?” You ask, turning your head slightly but still looking at the waves.
“2 Years” she responded, you could see her inching slowly toward you, feeling her fingers touching yours.
“Why?”
A bit confused at her question. “Why what?”
“Why do you love me?” She adds, now both of you are looking at each other again, you could swear you could hear your heartbeat like it was in your ear, but you take a deep breath and explain.
“Because… you are you?” I mean i don't know…you are awesome…you are pretty, you have always been here with me… you are always so energetic and enthusiastic…and it made me just…love you?” You say, just thinking about the reasons makes you smile, “i mean i don't, i am just rambl-”
A small giggle comes out of her mouth as she stops your monologue. “I think i heard enough…” she said, turn your eyes at her again as you see Yunjin in front of you, even with how dark it is you can clearly see her smiling at you widely, just like the first time you met her.
“You look like a tomato” Yunjin teasingly
“Oh look who speaks, your cheeks are pink as well from all the blushing” you respond, both of you are now sharing a genuine laugh together while she gives you a small punch to your shoulder, eventually you both stop laughing as your eyes turn back to the waves, now your right hand and her left hand are intertwined with each other, eventually Yunjin breaks the silence.
“So… what are we now?”
“Boyfriend and girlfriend?”
Yunjin thinks for a second before looking at you, then leaning forward to give you a small peck on the right cheek, “Yeah…i think i like the sound of that” she responded, giving you a small wink as you cant help but smile back and return the favor, making Yunjij blush lightly.
You are both back looking at the quiet sea, no one is here beside you making the moment even more serene, pure some would even say, you suddenly feel Yunjin’s head resting on your shoulder, her now tired eyes looking at you with sheer, genuine joy
“Tired?”
No response but instead a small movement akin to a nod can be felt in your shoulder, in response you take your right hand behind Yunjin, letting it rest on her shoulder seeing that she takes your other hand and putting it in front of her, letting you fully embrace her.
Looking at Yunjin you could see her eyes are fully closed while smiling, feeling comfortable enough you lean into her and give her forehead a small kiss, a bit surprised as she opens her eyes now, looking at you with a wide smile
“Corny ass” she whispers
“Shut up” you retort, closing your eyes and letting yourself truly enjoy the moment

FRIENDS DONT DO THE THINGS WE DO
pairing: friend! yunjin x female reader
warnings: they're both a little stupid smh, suggestive, friends to lovers, chaewon k n o w s
authors note: i was so excited/nervous to get this, but i hope i did a good job! @abby-grace requested 5, 7 + 9 with yunjin so here we go!
"okay, okay, but what do we think about hyunjin?" chaewon looked back and forth between you and yunjin, eating popcorn.
it was friday, the day of your weekly sleepover, aka, get together. these sleepovers were always the highlight of your week, especially after a long, long week of work and problems.
"i dont know," yunjin said noncommittally, taking the popcorn for herself and zoning out. it was weird, whenever you played the crush game, yunjin always zoned out and gave answers with not much thought. maybe none of these boys were her type. or maybe she was asexual? you couldn't figure it out, but at the same token you were suspicious. chaewon always brought up guys, and it lowkey seemed like she was doing it on purpose. there's no way she didnt know about yunjin's non-participation in the mini event. it was only the three of you, after all.
"what about gaeun?" chaewon asked suddenly. your head- and yunjin's- snapped around to look at her. she had a innocent look on her face that made you smell trouble.
"what about gaeun?" yunjin asked hesitantly.
"is she hot or what?"
"-yes" you said, realizing it was true. she was hot.
"nah, she's not my type."
"well who is your type?" you finally asked, really, truly, wanting to know.
"you."
"and thats my cue to go to bed. good night!" chaewon quickly grabbed her phone and popcorn and skipped up the stairs.
"you're my type. i like you." yunjin whispered after a few moments of stunned silence.
"i-"
"i know you dont like me, you're not-" she cut herself off.
"not gay? love, i'm pansexual. i'm just a fucking rainbow. so just shut up and kiss me will you?"
"i'd like to see you make me," she joked, leaning closer.
her lips brushed yours and it felt like you'd died and gone to heaven. sure, you'd kissed some guys, a girl or two here and there, but she was in her own lane. none of them compared to her lips working against yours, right here, right now.
you moved your lips down to her neck and she groaned, flipping you around. "don't be so rough, only i can make marks. you're mine."

Breathing This Calm Night - smut
Yunjin x Male Reader
ONE-SHOT
Tumblr media
Tags: fluff, oral sex, one-shot, tightjob, penetration, k-idol, famous girl, secret relationship
A/n: This is my first request. Thanks @dav1233555 for the plot suggestion 🫡
The two of you were anxiously dragging yourself towards the end of the day. Slowly the hours passed, seeming to last longer than they should, while a hurried and hard routine was followed, with no time to even exchange a few messages.
But you were finally free, at least for now, from the mess that is a magazine of international relevance.
I'm arriving
You read the message and smiled at the phone screen. It wasn't crowded at the restaurant you chose to have dinner at. You reflected for a moment, and thought there was a bit of madness in what you two were doing, but it was indisputable that it was genuine and pure.
Truth be told, this whole thing was real. And thinking that this could be a bit crazy (in other people's eyes, to be more precise) only made your panoramic view of society more bitter.
After all, what was so great about being a foreigner and dating a K-idol? Well, you weren't the guy who was going to change the view of an entire society, so worrying about it was useless.
At least there was some security that this relationship would not be leaked to the media. Well, you were in fact part of the fucking media. There was support from the magazine you worked for (not that you were the owner or anything), and at least no one on your team would poke your eye out. Some other editors you trust already knew about your relationship. It was one of the countless advantages of being in a high position in the company and having a strong influence on what happened inside. I mean, someone from the magazine could try to fuck with you, snakes exist everywhere, doing this in an attempt to self-promote or even abandon ship, handing over the leak of your relationship to another magazine or tabloid (in the headline the motherfuckers would find a way to use the word "affair", just because your previous relationship ended a month before you met Yunjin). But you would discover the funny guy so easily that there wouldn't even be any fun in solving the mystery. All it took was a single call to your father, simply the greatest editor-in-chief who worked at the magazine's headquarters. Already retired, but still exercising great decision-making power thanks to his long years of contributions to the magazine. Your old man was seen almost as a royal advisor or a wise monk where directors, managers and editors from various sectors of the magazine went to ask for advice and help. You were relatively shielded from leaks.
You noticed her approaching. Well disguised, with glasses, hair tied back and comfortable clothes. She looked like just another ordinary girl. You couldn't help but notice the NY Knicks sweatshirt you had given her as a gift, it was both of your favorite team.
She greeted you with a discreet hug. You still hadn't gotten used to the fact that you couldn't give a peck in public que in South Korea. In your perception, it was the most normal thing in the world.
"Hi, baby! How are you?" she asked you as she sat down at the table.
"Better now, honey. What about you?"
"The same!"
"Was the day as hard as always?" you asked.
"Yeah, definitely!" she replied. Yunjin seemed eager for this question. She continued: “In the morning I had rap class. By the way, I think I'm getting better. Oh, and in the afternoon I recorded my lines, like, over and over again. The music producer has a very specific vision of what he wants for this track. He apologized and admitted that it might take some time to achieve the desired result.”
"Well, I trust your talent. Remember that you and your group are dealing with a delicate concept. I have seen up close the production of albums that address intimate themes, it is always a challenge, but also a true work and certainly a amazing gift for the fans. You girls are going to do great."
Yunjin laughed, a little shyly.
"It feels like I'm talking to a music critic instead of my boyfriend."
"Well, you're actually talking to a music critic. Oh, by the way, I remembered that I won't be writing the article about Le Sserafim's new album like I said before."
Her expression was one of surprise. Yunjin asked:
"Is it because of me?”
"Yes." you answered honestly. “Well, look, love, I'm prioritizing our relationship and thinking about the future. If this is for real, eventually the press will hear about us together, and a review from me about my girlfriend's music group obviously it would make my opinion seem partial and biased. It's just to avoid future problems."
"Okay" She looked upset. "But I'll still want to know your opinion when you hear the album."
"I'm really looking forward to hearing it." You smiled, making her feel better. "I left the review about the new album for a good friend of mine to write. I really respect her opinion."
"Well, i think we're in good hands. But let's stop talking about work for a bit!"
The waiter seemed to have heard Yunjin's speech as he appeared to save them right after she finished saying that. Yunjin had great taste in food, that's why she always chose the order for the two of you, you weren't the "culinary trailblazer" type; a few months in South Korea and you only knew five typical dishes (always returning to the arms of the big fast-food chains).
"Oh, I almost forgot to give you this!" You handed her a gift. "It had been on my lap for so long that I had forgotten I had brought it with me."
"Oh, baby! You didn't have to do that!"
She started to unwrap it.
"Hope you like."
You waited for her reaction. Yunjin smiled and made a cute little noise when she saw that it was a book (although she already knew from the shape of the gift wrap).
"You know I love reading! Thank you so much."
"It's The Alchemist. I know you love fantasy and this silly self-help thing. This book is a mix of both."
You saw her eyes light up.
"You're perfect. I love how well you know me. And self-help isn't silly, it's very good for evolving as a human being." she scolded you.
You shrugged.
"It's not the kind of thing I'd like to put on my bookshelf. But to each their own.”
She laughed.
"I'm still going to make you read one of these."
"Well, I've already read The Alchemist. If for me it's average, for you it will be a masterpiece."
It was around 10pm when the two of you finally arrived at your apartment. Dinner was very good, especially dessert (that bingsu thing was really delicious), and by that night there was no more energy for more fun, it was preferable to have a good night's sleep so that the next day you could do something together. Even so, Yunjin hummed excitedly in the car on the way home. You appreciated all that joy.
You took off your shoes while Yunjin took off her NY Knicks sweatshirt, leaving only a tight tank top on her body. You noticed that she wasn't wearing a bra by the way her breasts showed through the fabric of her tank top. You slowly approached her and grabbed her from behind, kissing her repeatedly. Yunjin wrapped her hands around your neck as she giggled at the series of kisses.
“Will you be my teddy bear tonight?” she asked sweetly. “I need your affection so much, baby.”
“Whatever you need, sweetie.” You said as you kissed her on the neck.
Things were heating up. Your hands slid down Yunjin's soft belly, heavy sighs escaped her mouth unconsciously.
“Look, we still need to shower.” she said.
"No problem." you answered.
“You're putting me in the mood. I'm warning you that if you keep touching me like this, you're going to have to go all the way to finish what you started.”
“And since when has this been a problem for me?” you asked as you led her to the couch.
You took off your shirt and belt from your pants. Yunjin took off her jeans, leaving only her tank top and adorable pink panties. Your hand slid down Yunjin's left thigh while you kissed her right thigh. That was more than enough to give her goosebumps. She had her legs wide open, waiting, almost begging, for you to touch that place. Instead of doing it right away, you decided to play with her a little, kissing and biting her inner thigh while using one of your hands to lightly massage her pussy through her panties. Your lips slid to Yunjin's crotch, where you licked the entire area, she reveled in the act, trying hard not to close her legs with the spasms she was having. It didn't take long for a wet stain to darken the pink of the panties. When you finally removed Yunjin's panties, you saw how wet she was. So horny that she couldn't wait for you, fingering her pussy slowly, opening it with her fingers so you could see how drooling she was; a successful action of provoking you. Then you realized how hard your cock was, pulsing in your pants, painfully tight, which made you hornier.
Without wasting any more time, you dived between Yunjin's legs, eager to taste her (that flavor that was becoming increasingly familiar and addictive… Part of your life. Yeah, we could put it that way), your tongue delighting in the taste and the cozy warmth of the inside of her pussy, while Yunjin moaned softly, digging her nails into the sofa cushions.
“I love it when you suck me like that, baby. You make me feel so good!” she moaned.
At one point she asked to stop because her lust was unbearable and that way he would have an orgasm in a short time.
“I want to feel your cock inside me now.” she said. You had just taken off your underwear when she added, “Wait, what if we fuck in the bathroom. Let’s save time, what do you think?”
Your response was to lift her off the couch and take her to the bathroom. You turned on the light with your elbow and, before you could think of anything, she said:
“Fuck me like this! Your cock goes deep into my pussy when you fuck me in the air.”
You kissed her intensely while you tried to fit your dick into her pussy. The feeling of your cock sliding inside Yunjin was wonderful. Upon realizing that your cock was well placed inside her, you grabbed Yunjin's thighs tightly and began to thrust into her energetically while she held onto you, moaning compulsively.
And Yunjin was right, your dick went deep in that position. You could feel her deep inside, the entire length of your cock was being used, and she loved it. When she announced her orgasm, you wanted to make sure it was intense and pleasurable, the way it made her roll her eyes, so you lifted her a little higher, grabbing her ass, while Yunjin wrapped her legs inside your arms, making her practically hang from you and her pussy is completely inside your dick.
“Oh God, Baby! I’m cumming!”
She trembled holding onto you, while you practically rubbed her pussy on your dick, always rotating it close to your body. It was just a shame that you couldn't enjoy her eyes rolling back at the moment of orgasm, you simply loved seeing her go crazy with pleasure, but there was also a certain contentment in just knowing that it happened.
You sat Yunjin down on the sink and there you started fucking her again, looking deeply into her eyes. At one point she looked at you with so much passion, so much desire that there was a sudden growing desire to fill her pussy with your load of cum.
“Hang me, love.” she asked affectionately.
Her hand wrapped around just over half of her neck, serving as support to fuck her even harder. Sweat running down both bodies, your gaze was lost between the mirror's reflection, her eyes, her tits and her expressions of pleasure. With the sensations highlighted, you realized how much you loved Yunjin and how much this feeling contributed to eminent pleasure during sex.
Holy shit! You were almost there.
You thought about how much you wanted to go deep into this, literally to the end, but you were without a condom and suddenly stopping the act to go get a condom at the end of the championship was a bit... discouraging.
But you have an idea.
“Stand up, sweetie” you said. “Let’s try something new.”
Yunjin got out of the sink, looking at you excitedly.
“Get in the shower stall with me.” you asked, opening the door.
"What do you want to do?"
“It’s nothing out of this world, but it occurred to me that you’ve never given me a tightjob, I think it’s time we tried it.”
She had some assumptions about what this position was, but you helped her anyway. Yunjin was a rather tall girl, so there were no problems for your dick to fit between her thighs, the result was perfect, nothing uncomfortable. You thought about turning on the shower to lube up a little, but her pussy was so wet and the continuous sweat running down between her thighs was already more than great. You grabbed Yunjin's waist tightly and she crossed her legs a little, squeezing your dick.
You began to thrust into her, your cock sliding back and forth as you dragged Yunjin's labia. So you discovered in the best way that this was very pleasurable for both of you. The internal heat started inside you again and gradually you lost yourself in that exciting sensation. As you approached the final explosion, you bestially grabbed Yunjin in every way possible, sliding your sweat-damp hands down her belly, squeezing her breasts and slapping her ass. You lost yourself in the voluptuousness that was Yunjin's body and- Fuck! She loved it. She loved being your instrument of pleasure, knowing that the person she loved so much reached maddening peaks of passion, desire and lust for her. A juice of feelings for an insatiable thirst.
“Oh baby! I’m gonna cum! I’m gonna-”
Without any warning, Yunjin began to move her hips in a rhythm that immediately took you to the precipice of pleasure. The soft, hot, wet, suffocating skin of her thighs dancing over your cock. This was too much for you. When you came, you hugged Yunjin tightly, holding her as if your life depended on it, giving in to inconstant and uncontrollable moans close to her ear. The frantic thrusts lost their rhythm, going deeper and slower through Yunjin's thighs. She held your arms affectionately, waiting for your breathing to become less labored before kissing you.
"I love you." You said to her.
The phrase was so loaded with something that covered your feelings at that moment, and you wished she was the woman of your life and would never leave your side.
"I love you too!" said Yunjin when she found a way out of your tongue. “Baby, you don’t know how much.”
“This took longer than expected. Let’s take our shower.”
“Yep! Let's go."
You turned on the shower. The hot running water was invigorating, even more so being next to Yunjin, you didn't know that sharing certain intimacies was so special until you finally did it with her. you soaped Yunjin's entire body, she helped you wash your back and you shampooed her hair, gently massaging her scalp; it was cute how it relaxed her, she seemed so surrendered to you in that moment, and just a few months ago you were sitting across from her and the other Le Sserafim girls, asking incisive questions about the creative process of their latest album. That's where it all started, after all. And who could say where it would end?
“Hey, baby, let me shampoo your hair now.” Yunjin said with a cutie smile.
Nobody, you thought. Nobody could say.
A/n: sorry for any grammatical errors 😅

Le Sserafim! Nakamura Kazhua x F reader: You and Kazuha both come into a tight spot. She needs a 'fake girlfriend' to make her parents happy, and you need to help your dad, who needs dire help. How will the rich and popular girl and a nobody like you help each other out?
Word Count: 6.3 k
Author's Note: Writing this one actually came so easy to me, like it was so refreshing😭. ANYWAYSSSSS I'll be working on a few fics this month FOR SURE since the break is coming up! I'll have a few things coming up in school, and college WILL be kicking my ass but before and after all that, I'll try and update as much as I can.

The warm aroma of miso soup filled the air as you ladled portions into bowls, your movements practiced from countless nights spent at your father’s restaurant. The steady sizzle of tonkatsu in the hot oil, the clinking of glasses as men toasted as a celebration, and the occasional chime of the register felt as natural as breathing.
Your father fixed the dishes on a large tray: two bowls of miso soup, steaming plates of tonkatsu with rice and curry, a platter of salmon sashimi, and some plain green tea. He handed it off with a nod, and you hoisted the tray onto your shoulder, carrying it to a table where a young couple sat, lost in their little world.
Returning to the counter, you set down the tray and started wiping down tables, each swipe bringing closing time a little closer. After wiping down the last tables and cleaning the floors, you closed the register and changed out of your uniform.
“Otosan! I’m heading out!” you called from the door. Your father looked up from his notebook and calculator long enough to wave goodbye, immersed in tallying up the day’s earnings. Hopping on your bike, you pedaled home under the quiet night sky, planning to tackle your homework before bed.
This was your daily routine: mornings at university, afternoons helping your dad at the restaurant, then late nights finishing assignments. It wasn’t an amazing lifestyle, but you and your dad were getting by, and that was enough.
The scholarship you’d earned was the key to giving your father a better life, and you were determined to keep it that way. Whether that meant long hours studying or missing out on having any kind of social life, you didn’t mind. As long as you succeeded, that was what mattered.
But life wasn’t smooth sailing either. You attended a prestigious university filled with classmates from the country’s wealthiest families. You’d worked hard to pass the grueling entrance exam, clinching one of the top scores that earned you a scholarship for a business degree. That meant you had to work 10 times harder to keep your spot in school.
Now, you sat at your desk, fingers nearly flying over the keyboard as you worked on a project for business class. The computer was slow—a model you’d saved up for after countless shifts—but it did what you needed, even if you had to be patient with it. You then finished up as quickly as possible, just before you were extremely exhausted and crashed into bed.
You woke up to the harsh blare of your alarm at five in the morning, practically slamming it off as you dragged yourself up, feeling like you’d just been hit by an earthquake. Stretching the sleep from your limbs, you quickly showered threw on a plain polo, a knitted sweater, and some hand-me-down jeans. With classes starting at seven and living an hour away by bike, this was your routine—always the first one in the classroom.
As other students trickled in, you were already immersed in your textbook, laptop open, barely noticing the bustle around you. “This is why you have no friends,” a voice teased, pulling you out of focus. You looked up to see your best friend, Tanaka Anna, grinning at you.
“Then why are you here?” you shot back, smiling as she took the seat beside you. Despite being one of the “rich kids,” Anna quickly became your closest friend in that first week of school. Both of you were some of the top students in your class, and the bond you formed was effortless.
Meanwhile, across town in Osaka, Nakamura Kazuha was just stirring awake. Even fresh out of sleep, Kazuha exuded an effortless beauty. With her family’s prestige, she was known for her grace, wealth, and status—a girl who seemed to have it all.
Kazuha’s morning began in her usual luxurious bubble. She opened her eyes to soft light filtering through silk curtains, stretching slowly against the plush, oversized pillows. As she got out of her bed, she slipped on a velvet robe and made her way to the bathroom, where everything—from the marble countertops to the gold fixtures—yelled rich in anyone's face.
She took her time in the shower, letting the warmth ease her into the day, before wearing a high-end light blue blouse, matching skirt, and short white heels. The final touches were a pair of delicate pearl earrings and a designer bag to match.
By the time she came down her grand staircase for breakfast, the family’s chef had already prepared a large spread: sliced fruit arranged like art, freshly baked pastries, and perfectly poached eggs. She settled in at the long dining table, enjoying her home's quiet and refined atmosphere. But it wasn’t long before her parents joined her, each with their usual aura of authority.
“Kazuha, darling,” her mother, Mitsuko, began, setting her teacup down with a slight clink. “Your father and I wanted to discuss something important.”
Her father, Ichiro, nodded. “The company ball is next month, and it’s…well, you know how it is. We’d like you to bring a date this year.”
Kazuha paused, her fork hovering mid-air. “A date?” she asked, the idea feeling suddenly foreign. She was used to being in the spotlight on her, but with a date?
“Yes, Kazuha. You’re at the age where these things are expected,” her mother replied gently. “You’ve been so focused on yourself, but you need someone who can stand beside you, someone accomplished. It would make a good impression.”
Her father added, “It’s a chance to meet someone who’s not only a match in standard but also has the intellect to keep up with you.”
Kazuha swallowed, the weight of their expectations settling over her. She had high standards, and finding someone who was smart and emotionally intelligent, especially in her circle, felt nearly impossible. The clock was ticking, though, and she knew her parents would be relentless until she found someone. He parents weren’t one to judge, but they had some expectations that not many people reached.
Later, in the school cafeteria, Kazuha shared her dilemma with her two closest friends, Yunjin and Chaewon, as they sipped their lattes. “I just… I have no idea who I could find that’s… I don’t know, like that? They have to be smart, like really smart, and have a good head on their shoulders. But most people here are either too shallow or stupid.”
Yunjin began thinking for a second, then raised an eyebrow. “Maybe~, you’re in luck. Y/n. Top student, really smart, doesn’t exactly live in a bubble like most of us but could probably act like it.”
Chaewon nodded in agreement. “Y/n’s definitely a good option. Not a pushover, but they won’t embarrass you either. I think they’d be convincing enough to your parents.”
Kazuha thought for a moment. Y/n wasn’t exactly the first person she’d ever consider as a “date,” but you had the qualities she needed, at least from what she was hearing from her friends. And perhaps, with the right incentive, you might just agree to help her.
During your lunch break, you were scanning over some notes when Kazuha appeared before you, looking both determined and slightly nervous.
“Y/n, I have a proposition,” she began, choosing her words carefully. You looked there confused, never imagining someone this famous talking to you. “My family is hosting a ball next month, and I need a date. It’s important that they’re…well, someone smart, someone good with people. And I think you’d be the perfect choice.”
You raised an eyebrow, barely glancing up. “No thanks, I’m not really interested in being someone’s date.”
Kazuha’s expression shifted as she leaned in, desperation flickering in her eyes. “Look, I’m willing to make it worth your time. I’ll pay you—100,000 yen.”
That caught your attention. You looked at her properly, noting how she tried to maintain her usual composed expression despite the obvious urgency in her voice. “I’ll think about it,” Kazuha took that response, nodding furiously as she took a piece of paper from your notes, writing something down.
“Here’s my number. If you make up your mind, just give me a text,” You were about to say ‘okay,’ but she anxiously walked away, going back to her table. Your fingers trail to the paper, looking at the number but paying no mind to it as Anna comes to sit with food in her hands.
You told yourself you’d think about it later. “What was Kazuha doing here?”
“Huh?” You look at Anna in surprise. She hands you a sandwich, her brows raised in interest. “Oh, she was just asking me about Professor Ito’s class,” you try saying confidently, which works as Anna just shrugs and begins eating her food.
Anna had already started chatting about her morning, sharing the latest gossip and complaining about her calculus homework, which you gladly offered her help with after work on call.
After lunch, you headed to your next class, slipping into your usual seat in the back. The professor discussed business ethics, but your mind drifted back to Kazuha’s offer. The idea of pretending to be her date for a month—just to impress her family and their high-society crowd—felt entirely out of your comfort zone.
As the class ended, you tried to shake off the lingering thoughts. You had work to do and didn’t want to be distracted by a girl like Kazuha, no matter how much money she offered.
Your next stop was the library, where you planned to work on your project. It was a presentation, so you had to make sure it was perfect to save yourself from embarrassment. The quiet hum of the library was a relief after the loud and crowded hallways, and you found a secluded spot to set up. As you opened your laptop and began typing, you noticed a familiar face a few tables down—Kazuha, of all people, was sitting with Huh Yunjin and Kim Chaewon. They were talking in low voices, and every so often, Kazuha would glance around as if worried someone might overhear.
You tried to ignore them, but their conversation kept drawing your eye. Eventually, you buried yourself in your notes, focusing on your work, determined to stay on track. As minutes passed, you got into a rhythm, typing away as the library around you faded into the background.
By the time you finished, the sun had started to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm glow through the library windows. You packed up your things, feeling accomplished after making some serious progress on your project. Heading out, you passed by the university’s main quad, where groups of students were sprawled on the grass, enjoying the evening air. You caught sight of Anna again, now sitting with a few friends, laughing at something on her phone.
You waved to her and kept walking, mind back on your to-do list.

It was now after your shift, and you were doing your nightly cleaning of the restaurant, but a low, tired sigh interrupted that. You look at your dad, who was doing his usual finance check, but his hand gripped the side of his head, and he shook it in disappointment. With concern, you go over to him, sliding your hand up and down his back.
“Everything okay, otosan?” you asked, your tone light, though you’d noticed the tension in his shoulders and the tightness around his mouth. He shook his head and lowered his reading glasses, his gaze fixed on the old open notebook.
“It hasn’t been for a while, Y/n,” he admitted, his voice drowned in stress. You glanced down at the page filled with columns of numbers, each line a reminder of the months he’d been struggling to keep up. Your stomach sank as your eyes settled on the red circle at the bottom.
“80,000 yen?!” you exclaimed, your voice rising as the reality of the number hit you. Your father nodded, the faintest tremor in his hands as he pushed the book toward you.
“If we don’t pay by the end of this month, we’ll have to close down,” he said, his voice cracking. You felt your chest tighten as you watched him lower his head, shoulders sagging under the weight of shame he tried to hide as tears began dropping.
Before you knew it, you were reaching over, wrapping him tightly. He leaned into you, his struggles now fully visible. “I’ll find a way to keep this place open,” you murmured, feeling the promise settle deep in your bones.
“Y/n,” he started to say, pulling back to look at you, but you just nodded as pure determination coursed through your veins. You knew it wouldn’t be easy, the restaurant’s debt being too large for your dad to handle alone.
After helping your father close up for the night, you lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, your mind racing with thoughts of how you could come up with such an amount so quickly. The scholarship helped with university fees, but that was about all the financial freedom you had. The rest was a constant scramble to save and help out however you could.
You couldn’t—wouldn’t—let your father’s efforts be for nothing.
Yet you were stumped. Thinking of ways to help him, even if it were just a short solution. Your eyes then drift to the pocket of your raggedy jeans that hung on a hanger on your closet door. As if a light bulb went off, you rush over to the pockets, taking out the wrinkled paper that held Kazuha’s number.
You reached for your phone, texting her quickly, and sighed as you hit send.
Kazuha had been lying in bed, eating some chips as she watched a movie before bed. Feeling the buzz of her phone, she read the message that made her smile: It’s Y/n. I’ll accept your offer.
The feeling of relief sank in quickly, deciding to respond back just as fast: Got it. We’ll talk in person tmmr.
Kazuha couldn’t contain her excitement, texting her group chats with a big grin stuck on her face.
Zuha🦢 SHE SAID SHE’D HELP ME OUT EEEEEEEEEEEE Jen🐍 woah wasn’t expecting that to actually work out Chae🐯 wait what about her status? ik Y/n isn’t rich 🤔 Zuha🦢 i got that handled. ill talk to her about it tmmr Jen🐍 goodluck with that then 🤩
With the good news, Kazuha’s sleep was amazing that night. So the next day, during your break after your business and statistics class, you barely sipped your coffee when you noticed Kazuha approaching. She seemed more put together than yesterday, her expression a mix of confidence and happiness as you felt the peppiness from a mile away. She stopped just in front of you, a polite smile on her face.
“You free now?” You nodded, which had her quickly taking a seat across from you. “So let’s talk about the ball first,” she started. “It’s formal, of course, with a lot of people from my father’s company, some rival companies, and family friends attending. I need you to play the part of a rich, smart, and well-behaved girlfriend.”
“Alright…” you nodded, leaning in as Kazuha launched into more details.
“And as far as your ‘background’ goes, we’ll need to smooth over a few things,” she added carefully, her gaze flickering over you as if assessing what she was working with. “Tell me about you first.” “Well, uhm, my mom passed away from a heart disease when I was four years old, so it’s only been my dad and I. I’m on a scholarship here, and I work in my dad’s restaurant. She fought for a long time, and…well, my dad’s been managing on his own since,” as you finished the short summary of your life, Kazuha couldn’t help but feel sad for your mom.
Kazuha’s expression shifted immediately, her eyes softening as she nodded. “I’m sorry,” she said quietly, her usual composure breaking just enough to reveal a genuine sadness in her gaze. She reached out momentarily as if to offer a comforting touch, then thought better of it, folding her hands instead. “I can’t imagine what that must’ve been like for you. Really.” You waved your hands frantically at her, passed the pity and grieving stage. “It’s been a long time, don’t worry about it.”
Kazuha tries to move past the subject. “So you’re gonna be the child of a successful family, then. Your father owns a chain of restaurants,” she said, pausing as if trying to gauge your reaction.
You raised an eyebrow but decided to go along with it. “Alright, we’ll leave out the real specifics,” you said, slightly grinning. “If your parents are convinced, that’s all that matters, right?”
“Exactly,” Kazuha replied with a relieved smile, then hesitated, her expression softening.
Kazuha nodded thoughtfully as if committing everything you’d said to memory. “Alright, for our story, your dad’s chain will be ‘up-and-coming.’ We won’t mention the name; I’ll handle any questions from my parents.”
“Right,” you replied. “So…what’s the next step?”
Kazuha’s face lit up a little, her businesslike expression slipping back into one of enthusiasm. “First, we need to make it believable. If people see us together, the rumors will spread, and my parents will hear about us before we even have to introduce you. So, a slight makeover and some new clothes.”
You raised an eyebrow; the idea of a “makeover” is not exactly high on your list of priorities. “New clothes? Aren’t people just going to think we’re…together if we’re seen in public a lot?”
“Exactly. That’s the point. We want to make it believable to everyone else first, so my parents buy into it,” Kazuha explained with a sly smile. “Trust me, it’s easier that way.”
You sighed, wondering just what you’d signed up for. “Alright, fine. Lead the way.”
Tumblr media
The next day, you met Kazuha in the city, feeling more nervous than you’d anticipated. She took you to a luxurious shopping district that, honestly, you’d only ever seen in passing. Her eyes lit up as she led you through the marble-floored entrance of the first boutique.
“Alright,” Kazuha said with a determined smile. “Let’s find you something that says, ‘sophisticated and slightly out of everyone’s league.’”
In the first store, she handed you a blazer and high-waisted pants, then a chic blouse and dress slacks, each piece seemingly more expensive than the last. You tried on outfit after outfit, and Kazuha would look you over, making tiny adjustments to the sleeves or tilting her head thoughtfully before approving or rejecting each one. Soon, there was a stack of ‘approved’ items in her hands, and you were only beginning to realize how committed she was to this whole “couple” thing.
After several bags of clothing, she led you to a high-end salon in the district. The place was sleek, and the stylist practically glowed when Kazuha told them what she was envisioning for you. You barely had a chance to speak before you were in the chair, caped and ready. They added soft layers and volume to your hair, trimming it in a way that made it frame your face, and the stylist styled it with effortless waves, adding a sense of ‘rich’ vibes to you.
Once the haircut was done, Kazuha gave a little approving nod, almost as if she were admiring her own handiwork. “Perfect,” she said, a small smile of satisfaction creeping onto her face. “Now, for the ball…”
She led you to yet another store, where you noticed her eyes darting between the dresses on display and the sleeker suits on the other side. Finally, she grabbed a tailored navy blue pantsuit, complete with a fitted blazer and high-waisted pants. The fabric looked soft, and the cut was elegant.
When you tried it on and stepped out of the fitting room, Kazuha’s smile widened. “That’s it. It’s perfect on you.” She handed the attendant her card without another word, leaving you feeling both flattered and somewhat stunned at the transformation.
Over the next few days at school, you and Kazuha started hanging out in the open, just as she’d planned. You sat beside each other during lunch, walked to classes together, and even laughed at each other’s jokes like an actual couple.
It wasn’t long before people started talking. Anna finally cornered you at lunch with a smirk on her face. “Alright, spill. What’s going on with you and Kazuha?” Anna nudged you, raising her eyebrows knowingly.
You gave her a shrug, trying to play it cool. “It’s…kind of complicated,” you started, but Anna was already crossing her arms, ready to hear all the details.
With a sigh, you explained the situation, from the fake relationship helping her with the ball to the makeover Kazuha had insisted on to your father being in debt, and you do all this for him. Anna just shook her head with a laugh. “So, you’re basically the prince in this Cinderella story, and she’s…what, the princess in disguise?”
“Something like that, I guess,” you chuckled, though you could sense how strange this all sounded. Still, you couldn’t deny the thrill of it. You’d been helping your dad as usual but found yourself waiting for each break to see what Kazuha might come up with next.
All of this was beginning to feel too real to you. On a random school day, you and Kazuha had been hanging out on campus at a place with a good view. Just the two of you, sitting on a bench as her head leaned on your shoulder. “You know, this isn’t so bad,” she says as she stares off, and you find yourself staring at her as she speaks.
“These past few weeks have probably been the happiest I’ve been in my life.” You smile at her words. But when she looked at you directly in the eyes, your heart skipped a beat. Her eyes are large as she looks at you so hopelessly. Your heart raced as she smiled with genuine happiness.
On a different day, a rainy afternoon, you and Kazuha found yourselves tucked away in a small coffee shop off-campus. The rain had started out of nowhere, and after a rushed dash to find shelter, you both ended up laughing as you brushed the rain from your jackets. It was quieter than usual inside, only a handful of people scattered throughout the cozy café, and you and Kazuha snagged a booth by the window, watching the rain drizzle against the glass.
Kazuha stirred her hot chocolate absentmindedly, a small smile on her face as she leaned across the table toward you. “I think we make a pretty cute couple,” she teased, her eyes sparkling mischievously.
You raised a brow, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. “Do you, now?”
“Mm-hmm,” she hummed, a playful grin spreading across her lips. She reached over and took your hand, threading her fingers through yours without hesitation. Her touch was warm, her thumb grazing the back of your hand in soft circles, and her expression turned softer, her gaze lingering on your joined hands as though they fit perfectly together.
“It’s kind of unfair, don’t you think?” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
“What is?” you asked, your voice quiet in return, as if the moment was too fragile to break.
“That you get to look at me like that,” she replied, meeting your eyes, “but I’m the one who can’t look away.”
Her words hit you like a sudden rush, leaving you speechless. Her gaze was tender, searching your face as if trying to memorize every detail. She leaned a little closer, her free hand reaching up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear. For a second, you thought she might pull away, but instead, she stayed, her eyes lingering on yours with such intensity that you couldn’t help but feel your heart race.
You opened your mouth to say something, anything, but Kazuha’s soft smile stopped you. “You don’t have to say anything,” she whispered, still holding your hand. “I just… I’m glad it’s you.”
With the act almost becoming real, the rumors spread quickly, just as Kazuha had hoped. You started noticing curious looks and hearing whispers as the two of you walked down the halls every day. It didn’t take long for the rumors to reach Kazuha’s parents as other kids were beginning to tell their parents about the visual-like couple.
But not everyone seemed thrilled by it. Tsuki, a girl you wouldn’t usually see around Kazuha before, started lurking nearby during lunch, watching the two of you with narrowed eyes. Finally, one day, she approached your table, a smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth.
“Kazuha,” she began dismissively, looking Kazuha up and down with a disdainful expression. “Is this the best you could do?” She snorted, her gaze lingering on you. “I thought you had standards. Isn’t she…a bit out of your league?” You were surprised, trying to hide it. She was talking to you, saying Kazuha was out of your league? You could almost laugh at the comment.
You clenched your jaw but stayed silent, waiting to see how Kazuha would respond. Kazuha’s eyes darkened as she opened her mouth to retort, but you placed a gentle hand on her arm, shaking your head slightly. You turned to Tsuki, keeping your voice steady.
“Funny,” you said, meeting Tsuki’s gaze. “I didn’t realize other people’s standards were your concern.” You offered a polite but firm smile.
Tsuki glared but huffed, turning on her heel and walking away, though not without a parting sneer. Kazuha looked at you, her tension easing as she let out a relieved breath. “Thanks,” she murmured, a hint of a smile returning to her face.
Finally, the night of the ball arrived. You dressed in the tailored pantsuit, running a hand through your styled hair and taking a deep breath as you checked your reflection. When you arrived at the large venue hall to meet her parents, you found yourself on edge, but Kazuha reassured you with a warm smile.
Her parents, Mitsuko and Ichiro, greeted you with polite smiles, though you could tell they were evaluating you closely. As you settled into introductions, Mitsuko eyed you thoughtfully. “So, Y/n,” she said smoothly, her eyes flickering to Kazuha with a hint of warmth, “we’ve heard quite a bit about you.”
“Only good things, I hope,” you replied with a smile, and Ichiro chuckled.
Kazuha’s hand brushed yours briefly as she added, “Yes, all good things. You’ve been such a huge support with my studies and…well, life in general.”
Her parents exchanged a look, the conversation continuing as the ball’s formalities began. You mingled, keeping up the act seamlessly as the night went on, and found yourself growing more comfortable in the role. Each smile from Kazuha felt a little more real, every glance just a little warmer.
The ball was in full swing, with the lights of the crystal chandeliers casting a soft glow over the elegant scene. You and Kazuha mingled effortlessly with her family’s guests, moving from one conversation to the next, and each time someone asked about Kazuha’s new “girlfriend,” you surprised yourself with how naturally the words flowed. You talked about her with such ease and admiration that anyone listening would have believed you were truly in love. Kazuha noticed, her gaze lingering on you with a mix of curiosity.
At one point, she pulled you aside to thank you, whispering, “You’re really selling this, you know? My parents adore you.” She had said it as a joke, but her eyes showed unmistakable warmth.
You grinned. “What can I say? I’m a natural.”
As the night wore on, you found yourself enjoying the warmth of her hand in yours, the comfortable way she leaned into you as you navigated the crowd together. Yet, as much as you were swept up in the moment, a pang of guilt ate at you. This was Kazuha’s world, not yours, and even though you’d agreed to this arrangement, you couldn’t shake the weight of knowing why you’d accepted it in the first place.
Needing a moment to gather your thoughts, you excused yourself and slipped outside to the balcony. The cool night air wrapped around you as you leaned against the railing, trying to calm the flood of emotions that had crept up on you out of nowhere.
Kazuha must have noticed your absence because a few minutes later, she appeared beside you, her brow furrowed in concern. “Hey… is everything okay?” She placed a gentle hand on your shoulder.
You took a deep breath, deciding that it was time to be honest. “I… Kazuha, I took your offer because my dad’s restaurant is in massive debt. It felt like the only way I could help him. I know I shouldn’t feel bad because you asked, but—”
She cut you off with a soft smile, shaking her head. “Y/n, you don’t have to explain. This was my idea, remember? If anything, I should be thanking you. You’re helping me way more than I expected, and… honestly, I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side right now.”
Her words were gentle and understanding, but she could tell you still felt uneasy. So, she took your hand, looking up at you with an earnest expression. “You’re always talking about how much you love your dad’s restaurant. How it’s more than just a place to work—it’s part of who you are. And I get that. So…” She paused, her voice softening. “I want to help you. I want to invest in the restaurant, help with renovations, whatever it takes to keep it running.”
Your eyes widened, and you were at a loss for words for a moment. “Kazuha, you don’t have to do that…”
“I want to,” she replied, her gaze steady. “You’re doing this for me. Let me do this for you.”
At that moment, the full weight of her offer, of her kindness, settled over you. She wasn’t doing this out of pity—she genuinely wanted to help. And that thought, that selflessness, made you see her in a completely new light.
She flashed a grin, hoping to lighten the mood. “Plus, just imagine the look on everyone’s faces when they realize their favorite restaurant got a glow-up, courtesy of Nakamura Kazuha.”
You laughed, feeling some of the tension in your chest dissolve. “Alright, alright. But don’t think you can just buy your way to my heart, Nakamura.”
“Oh, please,” she teased, nudging your shoulder. “You know I don’t have to buy anything.”
As the weeks passed, Kazuha threw herself into the project with as much passion as you had for the restaurant. She helped with renovations, shared updates on her social media, and made sure her friends and family spread the word. When the grand reopening day finally arrived, a line stretched down the block. The place was packed, the sound of laughter and conversation filling the air as your dad greeted customers, overwhelmed by the support.
At this point, she didn’t even have to pay you the 100,000 yen. This was so much more than enough for you and your father.
“Y/n,” he started, pausing as if searching for the right words. “Your girlfriend… she gave us a second chance at life.”
You looked up, surprised by the emotion in his voice. He rarely spoke like this, always focusing more on action than words. He noticed your silence and continued, his gaze softening in a way you hadn’t seen in years.
“I remember when your mother and I first opened this place,” he said, a hint of nostalgia in his tone. “Back then, it was just the two of us, struggling to make it work, but it was worth every late night, every sacrifice… because we had each other. And now, seeing you and Kazuha—she’s doing for you what your mother and I did for each other. Giving you support, standing by you.”
Your father’s eyes gleamed as he placed a hand on your shoulder. “She didn’t have to help us, go out of her way. But she did, all for you. That says something. Don’t take that for granted.”
You nodded, processing his words as they settled into your heart. He smiled knowingly, giving you a soft pat on the back. “I can tell how much you care about her. And I know it scares you a little. But don’t let that stop you. Hold on to her. People like that… they don’t come around often. And when they do, you don’t let them go.”
Your throat tightened, gratitude welling up inside you. Hearing your dad’s approval, especially about Kazuha, meant everything. You thought of all the small moments—her smile, her laughter, the way she showed up for you without asking anything in return. It all hit you at once, the depth of what you had.
“Thanks, Dad,” you murmured, a smile pulling at your lips. “I really do like her.”
He chuckled, ruffling your hair like he used to when you were a kid. “Good. Then don’t let anything hold you back.”
Watching from a distance, you couldn’t help but glance over at Kazuha, who stood beside you, taking in the bustling scene with a proud smile. “This is all thanks to you,” you said quietly.
She met your gaze, a soft glint in her eyes. “No, Y/n. It’s thanks to us.”
Months had passed, and with each shared moment, your feelings for Kazuha were now real to you, basically official. Every late-night conversation, every stolen glance, every quiet laugh over shared secrets had pulled you closer to her, and it was clear now: you were completely, undeniably in love with her.
Tumblr media
One evening, Kazuha’s parents invited you over for dinner, a formal yet comfortable gathering at their home. The dining room was elegantly set, with an array of food laid out on the table. As you sat beside Kazuha, her hand resting discreetly on your knee beneath the table, you tried to focus on the food and polite conversation, but the weight of her parents’ glances didn’t go unnoticed. Something about how they looked at you tonight was different—almost piercing as if they were assessing you anew.
Midway through the meal, Kazuha’s mother, Mitsuko, set down her glass and fixed her gaze on you with a soft, almost too-knowing smile. “Y/n, we wanted to tell you how wonderful you’ve been for Kazuha. We’ve seen her happier and more at ease, especially these last few months. We’re grateful for that.”
Her father, Ichiro, nodded in agreement, though his gaze was more reserved. “Yes. And we noticed your father’s restaurant has been doing much better since… well since it became known that you’re dating our daughter.”
You felt your pulse quicken, sensing a shift in the room. They were putting the pieces together, tracing Kazuha’s involvement in your life and her influence on your father’s business. The implications were there, and you realized they must be questioning if any of this was genuine.
Kazuha’s hand tightened on your knee, a silent reassurance, but you couldn’t ignore how her parents’ gazes seemed to look through you, waiting for an answer. Taking a deep breath, you decided it was time to be honest. You looked at both of them, then turned to Kazuha, the words coming from your heart.
“When Kazuha first asked me to help her… I agreed, partly because my dad was struggling. I knew it was risky and how that might look to you now. But the truth is, I never expected this to happen. I never expected to fall for her.”
The room went silent, and Kazuha’s parents watched you with unreadable expressions. Heart pounding, you looked directly into Kazuha’s eyes, unable to hold back the feelings that had been building over the months. “Kazuha, you’re… so much more than I ever imagined. You’ve been there for me in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. And somewhere along the way, I stopped pretending. I fell in love with you. Completely. I want this—for real, if you do, too.”
Kazuha’s eyes widened, her mouth opening slightly as she took in your words. Her cheeks flushed, and for a brief moment, slightly embarrassed with her parents there. She looked as if she were struggling to breathe. Her eyes began to glisten, and a tear slipped down her cheek, though she made no effort to wipe it away. She reached for your hand, her fingers intertwining with yours as she nodded, a smile trembling on her lips.
“I’ve been hoping you’d say that,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “Because I’ve fallen for you, too, Y/n. And I’m tired of pretending.” Her voice grew stronger, her gaze fierce as she held your hand tightly. “I want this. Us. For real.”
Kazuha’s parents exchanged glances, their expressions softening as they took in the scene before them. Her mother leaned forward, a gentle smile on her face. “Well,” Mitsuko said softly, “it sounds like you two have found something real after all.” She looked at you, her approval evident in her eyes. “We only want what’s best for Kazuha, and if that’s you… then welcome to the family.”
Kazuha’s father nodded, a small but genuine smile gracing his usually serious expression. “Take care of each other, and take this real relationship seriously,” he said simply, with respect in his tone.
As you left that evening, hand in hand with Kazuha, you couldn’t believe how everything had unfolded. The guilt that had weighed on you for so long was gone, replaced by a new feeling—a warmth, security, knowing that this was real. Kazuha leaned her head on your shoulder as you walked. The night air cooled around you, and you smiled, kissing the top of her head.
“Looks like we’re not pretending anymore,” you murmured, and Kazuha laughed softly, her arm wrapping around yours.
“Not even a little bit.”

Make Me Happy
Huh Yunjin x Reader
Tumblr media
GENRE: fluff
TYPE: One Shot, Long Fic
INSPIRED BY: Make Me Happy-WheeIn
Tumblr media
"And Zeus, with his mighty thunder in hand, ruled the sky and Olympus," you read, flipping to the next page of the storybook and showcasing the colorful pictures of Zeus.
It was a Saturday morning, and you were immersed in reading stories for the children at the hospital. As a child psychology major, you relished the opportunity to connect with different children each Saturday. Your love for children made spending time with them while earning extra credit a win-win situation.
"Zeus has a wife named Hera, the Queen of Gods," you continued, pointing to the illustrated photo of Hera on her throne.
"Sometimes Zeus made mistakes, like having other friends. Hera didn't like that, but they still ruled together on Mount Olympus."
“Ms. Y/N?” a cute voice squeaked from the circle of kids in front of you. It was a small girl with short blonde hair and thick glasses.
“Yes, Kayla?” you smiled at her.
“What is M-I-S-T-R-E-S-S-E-S?” Kayla squinted, trying to read from the book you were showing. The rest of the kids leaned forward, curious about the illustrations.
“M-I-S-T-R…” The word clicked in your head, and you looked at the little girl in shock. “Where did you learn that word?”
“There,” Kayla pointed at the bottom corner of the book with her small finger.
You quickly turned the book around to check the illustration. There, at the bottom, was a scribble of words written in black marker.
Friends? More like mistresses. LOL
“What the fuck?” you muttered under your breath.
This was one of the children’s books you brought from your department’s lounge, where they keep all materials used in class.
A chorus of oohs broke out around you at the sound of your mild exclamation.
“I mean, what the fuzz?” you hastily changed your choice of words, hoping the hospital staff didn’t hear what you just said. “What the fuzzballs.”
Luckily, the children giggled at that, immediately distracted when a boy named Jake decided to share the story about how he swallowed his cat’s fuzzballs and ended up in the hospital.
The storybook took you longer to finish reading as you made sure to check every page before showing the kids the illustrations. Thankfully, there wasn’t any more writing in the rest of the book. You covered the words with a Post-It before returning it to the lounge.
It happened again after a few weeks. You were reading a Dora the Explorer book to the children, and there it was, in the smack middle of the book, a sentence scribbled in the same scrawly, obnoxiously bolded handwriting.
“Can you find the chocolate tree?” you read before staring at the page in horror.
This chick is blind, FR.
The kids whispered, trying to understand what the handwriting meant.
“C-H-I-C-K…chick!” Carter, a red-haired boy, exclaimed loudly, proud of himself for being able to read it.
“There aren’t any chickens in Dora,” Kayla chastised him, shaking her head as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“There is too,” he huffed, pressing a smudgy finger onto the page. “It says here! C-H-I-C-K. Chick.”
“Well, there’s only the big red hen. No chicks,” Kayla insisted, standing up to grab the book from your hands. The situation was about to get worse in a few seconds as you saw Carter’s face redden in frustration.
“Okay! That’s enough story time for today,” you quickly stood up, snapping the book shut. “Who wants to play Monopoly?”
“ME! ME! ME!” The kids screamed in excitement, forgetting the book altogether. It was a relief that kids forget about things so easily.
You, on the other hand, did not forget about this.
.
.
.
.
“Someone keeps leaving nasty comments in the children's books,” you huffed, dropping the Dora book in front of your best friend, Chaeryeong.
You had found her sitting in front of one of the long tables, peacefully eating her lunch in your department’s lounge. The room was slightly crowded, filled with students doing their projects or chatting with each other before classes.
Narrowing her eyes at your rude entrance, Chaeryeong slowly took off her headphones and dropped her chopsticks.
“No hello beautiful?” she asked, rolling her eyes playfully. “Why are you reading children's books anyway? Are you seven years old or something?”
“I’m reading them for the kids at the hospital,” you said impatiently, flipping open to the page where the messy handwriting was located.
“See? This person keeps writing in these books! The kids keep reading them out!”
“This chick blind, for real?” Chaeryeong snickered after reading it aloud. “Well, this person has a good point. Dora IS blind as fuck.”
You huffed, annoyed at how unserious the raven-haired girl was. But before you could open your mouth, a soft chuckle came from the table next to yours. You turned your head to come face to face with the queen bee and the captain of the volleyball team, Huh Yunjin. She grinned at you as she casually leaned on her elbows, not hiding the fact that she was eavesdropping on your conversation as the rest of her friends were engrossed in another conversation.
“See? Even Yunjin unnie agrees,” Chaeryeong said, slyly bringing Yunjin into the conversation.
She knew about your little crush on the captain ever since freshman year. You were just too chicken to strike up a conversation with her, and she was flirty by default, breaking hearts left and right. You just didn’t want to go through the heartbreak, after seeing so many girls crying in the bathroom over her.
Your eyes met Yunjin’s chocolate ones, her bright gaze felt like it was penetrating your soul. People weren’t kidding about her beauty; she really was a sight to look at. You felt your face flush as her gaze never left yours.
“Yeah, she definitely needs to get herself some glasses,” Yunjin pushed her headband a bit higher to keep her orange hair out of her face. “But I support an unbothered queen.”
Yunjin let out a little laugh, her nose scrunching adorably. You couldn’t help but stare, mesmerized by the way her full lips pulled back to show her glistening white teeth.
“Stop being gay,” Chaeryeong whispered, nudging you with her legs to wake you out of the trance.
Huffing in embarrassment and annoyance, you grabbed the Dora book and the rest of your stuff and started to put them into your bag.
“Where are you going?” Chaeryeong asked.
You could see the volleyball captain staring at you from the corner of your eye, and your ears flushed a deeper red.
“I’m going to find someone who understands how serious this situation is,” you ignored the soft snickers coming from both of the girls and turned around to walk out of the lounge.
“Let me know if you found someone who managed to get that chick a pair of glasses,” Chaeryeong called from behind you, laughter in her voice.
.
.
.
.
Cute. That was the first thing Yunjin thought when she saw you during the freshman orientation.
She was there to recruit people into the volleyball team when she noticed you, sitting in the second row, eyes barely open, mouth slightly agape as a few wisps of hair fell into your face when you started to doze off.
Ignoring the knowing looks of her teammates, she intentionally tried to get close to you, all but failing drastically. She ended up recruiting all of your close friends into the volleyball team, all but you. You were definitely not a land animal; that was all that Yunjin could say after watching you fall face-first onto the ground at any given chance.
But at least her efforts weren’t all gone to waste. Having recruited Chaeryeong and your roommate Yeji onto the team meant that she could see you in the bleachers in every game and often see you swing by during practice. Her delusional self convinced her that you were there to see her, but deep down she knew that you never even spared her a second glance.
Like today, you had once again rushed away from her as if she was the most menacing thing in the room, and you wanted nothing but to end the conversation with her. Was she really this scary? Or had you found out about her obsession with you?
“You should try to talk to her more, you know?” Chaeryeong said, raising her eyebrows as she watched her captain gaze after you leaving the room.
“Huh?” Yunjin quickly composed herself, leaning back in her chair. “With who?”
“Y/N. I know you like her.” The raven-haired girl said with a grin. “And I approve.”
“Pfft, I don’t even know her that well.” Yunjin whispered, lowering her voice to make sure her friends didn’t hear this conversation.
“I’m not Dora. I see how you look at her,” Chaeryeong pushed.
“I—I don’t look at her differently.”
Yunjin stood her ground, staring at Chaeryeong, ready to deny everything that came out of the younger girl’s mouth. But Chaeryeong wasn’t intimidated, shrugging nonchalantly as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“She finds your jokes in the books funny. Don’t let her reaction fool you.”
Laughing at Yunjin’s expression, Chaeryeon added, “I know your ugly handwriting.”
With that, the slender girl slipped her bag onto her shoulder and stood up, smiling mischievously at the blushing captain in front of her.
“Can’t believe it took you two years to make a move.”
.
.
.
.
Unconvincingly as it sounded, it really started with boredom.
Yunjin was alone in the student lounge last semester, skipping her least favorite class from Professor “Dead-Eye” Yoo and taking the liberty of finally having some alone time. Yunjin knew she was quite popular, being the captain and all, but sometimes she just wanted to go back to being that shy gamer girl she once was.
The lounge was deserted, and Yunjin flopped onto the sofa she sometimes saw you sitting on in the far-right corner. A couple of bookshelves were situated next to the sofa, completely filled with children’s books.
Scrunching her eyes in confusion about why there were so many books for kids when it was a university department lounge, Yunjin decided not to question it and got to read to kill time. But being attentive was not her strongest trait, so she soon relented to her immaturity and boredom.
Grabbing a sharpie from her bag, she started to leave dumb comments here and there in different books, as if she was the biggest book reviewer in the world. It was an immature and stupid thing to do, she knows. But at least it somehow managed to catch your attention, albeit months later.
God must’ve taken pity on her, watching her suffer through countless blind dates that her friends had arranged her to through her first two years of college, finally giving her the chance to know you better.
It was a few days after her encounter with you at the lounge with Chaeryeong, and she found you scribbling down in a brown notebook on the sofa next to the bookshelves again, this time alone. Deciding to brave herself just once, she took her breath and mustered all of her confidence before making her way towards you and flopped down onto the empty space next to you. She was going to take a chance and take Chaeyeong’s words as advice.
“Hey Y/N.” Yunjin gave you a boyish charming grin, her orange hair tousled perfectly across her leather jacket. She was effortlessly cool, and her sudden close proximity made your face heat up.
“Uh, hi, Yunjin-ssi.” You quickly bowed in respect.
“Please drop the honorifics.” The captain waved her hand, giving you a wink. “Just Yunjin is fine.”
You nodded, eyes flittering from Yunjin’s mesmerizing large ones to the record book in your hand. Unsure of what to do, you decided to awkwardly continue writing.
“What are you doing?” Yunjin slightly leaned towards you, her vanilla perfume invading your senses.
“Um... I-” You shook your head to gather your thoughts, “I’m keeping track of the books that were written on. We would have to replace them.”
“Ahh… the Dora book?”
“Yeah. I also found a new one this week, in the Ice Age books.”
“Really? What did it say?” Yunjin asked, trying to keep her face casual.
“It simply just wrote LIA next to Sid’s face.” You said, biting your lip to hold in your smile.
Yunjin, on the other hand, let out a booming laugh, enjoying the joke way too much.
“I’ll let Lia know she’s famous.” Yunjin said, after taking a few minutes to finally come down from her laughter.
Even though she was the one who wrote it, she still found it funny that her roommate, Lia, looked exactly like Sid the sloth when she was sleeping.
Trying to hide your grin, you said, “It’s not funny. The kids keep reading out the comments.”
The sight of your smiling made Yunjin’s heart soar. She was proud of herself for succeeding in making you smile, despite you not knowing it was her who left the comments. With this affirmation, Yunjin continued to make jokes with you as you talked for a bit. She would do anything to charm you, and she already had a plan hatched in her brain, something to do with your notebook.
“I’ll talk to you later, Y/N.” The captain squeezed your hand as she saw her friends calling for her.
You were disappointed to see her go, but you knew that she had better things to do than talk to you. She was, after all, one of the most popular and busiest students in your major.
“See you.” You muttered, ears red at the feeling of her hand on yours.
The captain walked towards the door, before turning back and raising her hand as a goodbye in a goofy boyish way that made your heart flutter.
.
.
.
.
It happened again, but this time, it was in your record book. Again, in obnoxiously bolded and capitalized letters, the mystery person managed to annoy the hell out of you, but you couldn’t help but find a bit of amusement in them.
HI :)
They had written this in the smack middle of a new page in your notebook, wasting the entire page. Deciding to write back for the first time, you took out your pen and wrote a small line under their loud greeting.
Don’t write in my notebook :)
Thinking this was able to stop the culprit from writing anything else, you shut the book satisfied. Oh, how wrong you were.
The next day, you found a light pink post-it stuck on top of the original page.
BUT I WANT TO BE FRIENDS :(
Annoyed at the culprit, but also at yourself for finding them cute for using a post-it instead of just writing on your book.
No.
You wrote back, slightly hesitating before slamming shut the notebook altogether. Although intrigued and wanting to know who was behind the writing, it was probably best that you don’t encourage them.
“Getting ready to dive deep into another children’s book of yours?” A familiar voice broke you out of your thoughts.
Your heart couldn't help but lurch at the sight of the orange-haired captain smiling at you, her nose scrunched adorably.
“Yeah, any recommendations? I know you love these books.” You teased back, already comfortable with her presence.
Despite not really getting the chance to talk to her that much, she had this aura that made you feel calm and relaxed, as if you could trust her with anything.
“I’ll recommend one only if you read it to me.” Yunjin flirted easily, giving you a charming grin and wink.
Caught off guard at her response, your face turned a slight shade of pink. “I-”
“I’m just kidding, Y/N.” The taller girl laughed at your flustered state. “I used to read ‘The Jungle Book’ to my sister when she was a kid, and she loved it. Maybe the kids at the hospital would love it too.”
"You have a younger sister?” You asked. This was new information to you, but then again, you and Yunjin never really talked before this semester.
“Yeah, we have a really big age difference though. She’s 10 years younger than me.” Yunjin’s eyes glinted at the mention of her sister.
“She must be really happy to have you as a sister.”
“I hope so." Yunjin said with a sad smile, “I haven’t seen her in a couple of years. She’s still in the US with the rest of my family.”
“It must’ve been hard for you to move here all alone.” You hesitantly reached out your hand to squeeze the Captain’s forearm in comfort.
She gave you a grin at your touch, and your heart fluttered at how her eyes seem to twinkle whenever she met yours.
“I’m fine now.” She said, putting her other hand on top of yours. “I made a lot of friends, and also, I got the chance to meet you.”
The flirty queen-bee you knew was back. You cleared your throat to shake off the nerves she managed to give you and pulled back from the trance she pulled you into.
Quickly checking your watch as an excuse to avoid looking into her eyes again, you noticed it was almost five p.m., the time Chaeryeon left for practice.
“Don’t you have practice?” You asked.
“Nope.” Yunjin made a pop sound at the P, which you found adorable. “We have a game next week, so I gave the girls a two-day break.”
“You’ll be watching us, right?” She asked, her eyes hopeful.
You nodded, “I never missed a game. I’m Chaeryeon’s and Yeji’s number one fan.” You grinned, proud of yourself.
Yunjin merely pouted at this, “You should cheer for me sometime. I’m playing too, you know.” She nudged you.
You laughed, trying to shake off your nervousness at her blatant flirting. “You already have a lot of fangirls.”
Yunjin whined, begging, “I don’t know them, but I know you. None of my friends wear my number because they’re on the court with me.“
“I’ll think about it.“ you laughed at her antics. Although she was a year older than you, she managed to act like a little kid sometimes.
After talking (more like flirting on Yunjin’s side) for another while, Yunjin left to go to her part-time job at the diner, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
The feeling she gave you messed up your thoughts, and you were worried that your old crush on her will be reignited.
She was just friendly. She thought of you as a friend. You convinced yourself. You needed to see her as a friend too, before you get your heart broken.
“Maybe I need other friends than Yunjin.“ you muttered to yourself before opening the notebook once more.
No.
You crossed out the word and wrote.
Fine. What’s your name?
.
.
.
.
Turns out, the person behind the obnoxious block letters was worth talking to. You’ve been texting the mysterious person for the past few weeks, and they managed to entertain you and connect on a deeper level. Never getting a reply to their name, only with a doodle of a snake, you exchanged numbers without knowing each other's names, and it was better like that. To talk about your day anonymously.
You were, however, curious about the person behind the texts and writing. They were considerate, easy to talk to, and extremely funny. You honestly felt that you could be really good friends with them. From books to life goals, you could talk to them about anything and everything.
It was a bit unnerving how someone in your major knew all this about you, but at the same time, you felt that they were someone you could trust, and they felt the same way about you after sharing some of their family problems with you.
You noticed you were developing a sort of attachment to this person, as if they were your soulmate. You found yourself instantly texting back whenever the snake contact popped up on your phone, and when you were texting, you were re-reading your past conversations. They were a great way for you to get Yunjin off your mind, which you found to get harder every time she stopped by to say hello.
“You’re late, Shin.” Chaewon, the co-captain of the volleyball team, chastised a wind-swept Yuna as she slammed open the door to the locker room and hurried to change into her team uniform.
Yuna was the newest addition to the team and was also the cousin of Y/N. (As soon as Yunjin heard of this, she immediately treated Yuna with patience and additional care, not that she liked you or anything, just her showing affection to her juniors).
The volleyball team was getting ready for the final match before the semi-finals. They had an away game with a nearby school, and Yuna, being Yuna, had overslept and missed the bus to the game. Yuna quickly bowed her head in apology, and Chaewon simply patted her head in assurance and ushered everyone to warm up.
“What took you so long?” Yeji asked, “I thought Y/N said she would drive you instead.”
"She did. But it took her half an hour to get ready because she was busy giggling at her phone like a love-sick schoolgirl.” Yuna said, exasperation in her voice.
At that, Chaeryeon, who was standing near the two girls tying her hair, let out a laugh. “Yeah, she’s been doing that pretty often. She must have a crush or something.”
“You think so?” Eunchae, one of the tallest yet youngest players, chimed in, exposing the fact that she was eavesdropping.
“That’s new; I thought she would just end up being a single woman and adopt all of the kids in the hospital.” Yeji mused, happy that her roommate is finally interested in someone. Throughout the two years she lived with you, you seemed to show zero interest in love.
“Must be nice to be liked by unnie.” Eunchae said dreamily, causing the rest of the girls around her to fake gag and give a round of protest.
“Wish it was me instead.”
“Who are you dreaming about dating?” Yunjin suddenly appeared, wrapping her hands around the tall girl. “My baby manchae is off limits until she’s 40.”
The captain had returned from a quick discussion with their coach and had gone into the locker room to usher the girls out for warm-up.
“40? Do you want me to die single?” Eunchae furrowed her brows and pouted, “And besides, we were talking about Y/N unnie’s love life, not mine.“
“Y/N? What about Y/N?” Yunjin tried to ask nonchalantly, leading the girls out of the locker room.
“She has a crush on someone.” Chaeryeon said slyly, paying close attention to Yunjin’s reaction.
The orange-haired girl kept her face composed, but in reality, her heart was beating at the thought of you liking someone, that wasn’t her. A sense of hollowness and jealousy crept into her skin.
“That’s nice. Do you know who?”
The girls shrugged, and Yunjin decided not to push anymore. The way Chaeryeon looked at her was obvious enough to blow off her cover and reveal her affection towards you, and she was not keen on letting others know.
Putting on a smile so bright that could make any of the people in the crowd swoon, Yunjin tried to push back her thoughts and jealousy, waving to the people in the stand as the team entered the court.
Cheers came from all around her, cheering her name every time she sent the ball flying at deadly speed toward her rivals. She wasn’t called the Ace of SNU for nothing. Yet, as she scanned the crowds after every point earned, she hoped you would also be there yelling her name.
“Good game.” Chaeryeon whispered in Yunjin’s ear as they gathered together in a group hug to celebrate another victory.
The crowds were wild around them, chanting their names as they celebrated their ticket to the semi-finals.
“But you better step up your other game before it’s too late, captain.” The raven-haired girl gave Yunjin a grin before sauntering off to the stands, where you were hugging Yeji in celebration.
You were wearing Chaeryeon’s spare uniform, proudly displaying the Lee on your back, while waving a self-made Yeji and Yuna flag. You looked so cute with your hair in a ponytail, with two lines of blue drawn horizontally across your cheeks to represent SNU.
At that moment, Yunjin wished nothing more than to see you wearing her uniform instead.
She better step up her game.
.
.
.
.
So…have you ever been in love before?
You were late at night studying in the school library a few days after the game when your phone buzzed, indicating a text message. It was from your mystery friend.
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion at their sudden question, before typing out a quick response.
No, I don’t think so. Have you?
As their text bubble indicated typing, a full minute passed before their response came through.
No.
Followed by another long pause.
But I wish I did.
Biting your lip in thought, you were unsure of what to make of this sudden confession from your friend. You were developing an attachment to them, which seemed foolish when you didn't even know what they looked like, let alone their name.
It was truly pathetic; the two people in college for whom you had feelings were the queen bee of the school, with a long line of admirers, and the other was some random faceless stranger about whom you knew everything and nothing.
What got you thinking about this? You typed back.
A girl. But she has feelings for someone else.
So your little mystery friend does have someone on their mind. You tried to push down your disappointment and the slight burn of rejection as you replied.
Have you tried telling her how you feel about her?
No, I would probably scare her off or something.
I’m sure you won’t.
It took them another five minutes before they finally responded back.
What about you? Is there anyone on your mind?
Yunjin, the fiery-haired girl, instantly came to mind. Recent interactions with her had given the impression of growing closeness. She took the time to chat with you in the student lounge, held your bag, walked you back to your dorm after study sessions, and even brought treats from the diner when her shift ended. Though it felt like more to you, the realization struck that she viewed you simply as a friend.
Yeah, this girl. But she sees me as a friend.
Yunjin's heart skipped a beat upon reading your reply. It confirmed Chaeryeon's statement – you had your eyes set on someone else. She pondered the possibilities, considering potential candidates. Was it the charming Shin Ryujin from the softball team? Perhaps someone from the hospital where you volunteered? Or could it be one of your close friends, like Chaeryeon or Yeji? The uncertainty left Yunjin feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
Did you tell them how you feel?
No, I would probably scare them off or something.
Despite her heartbreak, your text made her smile a bit. There you were again, teasing her by copying her sentence.
I’m sure you won’t, pretty girl.
How do you know if I’m pretty or not?
I just do.
You couldn’t help but blush at their compliment. They always managed to say something earnestly that made your heart flutter, similar to the way Yunjin always seemed to have an effect on you.
You should take this confidence and confess to the girl you like before it’s too late. What’s there to lose?
You have a valid point…
I’ll work on confessing to them before the end of the year, but only if you be my wingwoman.
Your wingwoman? How? I don’t know anything about them.
Just share with me the little things you like as advice.
Deal.
So…better start listing.
Hmm, I’d say start with flowers.
Oh, and little notes are pretty cute, too.
.

.
.
"The Ultimate Checklist to How to Get That Girl? Seriously?" Chaewon read over Yunjin's shoulder incredulously.
Flushing a deep red, the captain quickly slammed shut her notebook and pushed the short-haired girl away.
"Stop snooping!"
"You know you can just ask her out, right? Y/N." The shorter girl reached over to snatch the book from Yunjin, quickly scanning over the checklists.
Yunjin had managed to devise a checklist incorporating all the things you mentioned in your previous text conversations with her about your preference as her 'wingwoman’. She had compiled recommendations on what someone should do to win over someone's heart, hoping to win over yours.
"I can't. She likes someone else." Yunjin said defeatedly, her shoulders sagging.
"Who can resist the Huh Yunjin charms? I'm pretty sure everyone would love to date you." Chaewon snorted, amused by how her seemingly always confident friend was so hung up on you. This was a first.
"Not Y/N."
Although teasing her friends was in her DNA, Chaewon couldn't help but feel bad for her friend. Yunjin looked lost (kind of like a kicked puppy, but she wasn't going to say that to her face), and as co-captain of the team, it was a rule that she would need to support their captain whenever they needed help.
"Find, I'll help you." Chaewon sighed, looking at the long list and preparing herself mentally. It was going to be a long few months.
"Let me call the girls for backup."
“Another gift from your secret admirer?” Yeji teased when she saw you enter the shared dorm with a tray of hot coffee.
You had just returned from the library, preparing for your final exams, and found yet another gift waiting in front of your door.
You shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant, but your ears betrayed you by reddening. “There’s one for you.”
Yeji jumped up in excitement and went straight for the coffee, sighing contentedly as she sipped on it. “I’d just date them already.”
You had been receiving these little gifts for the past few weeks, and it was driving you crazy. Initially sweet, the mystery person never revealed themselves, making you suspicious of everyone. Additionally, you were concerned about how much they were spending on you. Although seemingly insignificant, the little gifts added up.
The first gift was a single rose and a typed note in front of your dorm room, a bit like a ransom note. The note included a cheesy pick-up line that you found endearing, despite yourself. Soon after came cute accessories, a new hair tie, and even a cute hippo plushie. Your admirer seemed to know a lot about you, even the things you lost.
They gifted you things you had listed out to your mystery friend. Could your admirer and your friend possibly be the same person?
“Oh, by the way, Yunjin and the team are coming over to discuss our strategies for the championship game, is that okay?” Yeji mentioned casually, trying to hide her grin.
Chaewon had called her earlier, letting her in on Yunjin’s huge crush on you and the plan to sweep you off your feet.
Panic filled your eyes as you looked up from your phone. You were still dressed in your "bum outfit," as Yeji would call it, consisting of old sweatpants and an oversized Nike hoodie – definitely not presentable.
“What? When?” You quickly surveyed the room, noticing a small pile of clothes and rushing to stuff them in the laundry basket.
“In about…”
Knock, knock, knock.
“Now.”
At that moment, you pulled your hair out of its messy bun and ran your fingers through it in a rush. Leave it to Yeji to embarrass you in front of Yunjin.
Before Yeji could open the door, it was slammed open, revealing a snow-covered Chaeryeon with her cheshire grin, followed by Chaewon, Lia, Yuna, and Yunjin. Your eyes met hers, and you got lost once again in her warm brown hues.
She looked particularly good today, with her fiery orange hair tucked into a gray woolen hat and dressed in a red leather jacket. She gave you a toothy smile before closing the door behind her.
“Hey, stranger, it’s been a while,” Yunjin said, pulling you into a hug, engulfing you in her sweet lavender perfume. “I missed you.”
You immediately blushed at this, still not used to her flirty nature.
“We had lunch together last Saturday.”
“Yeah, three days is way too long,” she sighed dramatically, her arms still wrapped around your shoulders. Her eyes scanned your features, as if she was trying to memorize every freckle and blemish.
“If you two are done flirting, we would like to start discussing tactics,” Chaewon said, her lips curled into a teasing smile as she saw Yunjin immediately pull her arm off of yours and turn beet red in embarrassment.
“I…” Yunjin muttered, before giving up coming up with an explanation and plopped down onto the sofa.
You busied yourself with schoolwork as the girls squeezed into the makeshift living room and focused on their strategy plan for the upcoming games. You watched them with adoration; it wasn’t often that you saw them together except for their games, and you loved how sweet their dynamic was. Chaewon was the one who kept everyone focused, Lia and Yeji were the encouraging ones, and Yunjin was the planner. She led the gameplays and tactics, ensuring everything was on track. The older girls also babied Yuna and Chaeryeon, making sure they understood everything.
You didn’t know Chaewon and Lia that well; they were Yunjin’s friends. Still, you could tell that they were just as sweet and caring as the captain was. However, you couldn’t help but think of the comment your mystery friend left in the Ice Age book whenever you looked at Lia. She did look a bit like a sloth, but the cutest one ever.
Hence, you decided to text your mystery friend.
Lia does kind of look like a sloth. But cuter.
As you sent out the text, a small buzz came from the living room.
Cuter as in your type?
No. But you did her dirty by writing her name next to Sid.
Another buzz. You furrowed your brows and looked toward the direction of the living room.
Who IS your type then?
Someone funny, I guess. Goofy but smart.
Buzz. It felt too coincidental. Your palms started sweating at the thought that you might finally discover who was behind those texts that accompanied you through long nights and motivated you.
Hmm…is there someone like that in our school?
Yeah, there is.
As soon as you sent out a text, another buzz came from the living room. At that moment, you were convinced that your friend was one of the girls in the room.
Is it the person you mentioned you liked?
You silently leaned forward on your bed to peek at the girls obscured by the sofa, lying on their stomachs in front of a strategy board. You froze at the sight of Yunjin biting her full lip and looking at her phone, engrossed in whatever she was reading. The rest of the girls were talking with each other, none of them looking at their phones.
Could it possibly be the orange-haired girl all along? The girl you've been texting about was the one receiving your texts. If they were Yunjin, then she would possibly be the one sending you your gifts.
The pounding in your heart was so loud, engulfing you in erratic thumps. You couldn’t even hear the girls talking; all you could focus on was the possibility that Yunjin was the person behind the texts.
Deciding to leap in faith just this once, you texted back.
Yes. The captain of the volleyball team, do you know her?
Another buzz followed by the screen of Yunjin’s phone was enough to prove that she was indeed the person all along. Eyes scanning through the sentence you sent to her, Yunjin’s brown eyes widened, and she immediately threw her phone to the side, covering her face with her arms. She let out a muffled scream and kicked her legs in excitement, startling the rest of the girls.
You couldn't help but laugh at her adorableness. Putting on your headphones, you pretended to be studying while trying to calm your erratic heart. Muffled shouts and laughter could be heard from the girls, probably picking on their captain.
.
.
.
.
For the first time in her life, it seemed that fate had taken favor in Yunjin. Having dedicated all of her time to school and volleyball, she never had the privilege of starting a relationship with someone. Volleyball itself took up most of her time, with her parents and her personal coach insisting on her becoming the best player in the league and eventually joining the national team of South Korea. She wasn’t unhappy with her life, but she wouldn’t call herself happy.
Sure, her friends set her up on several blind dates, but she never liked them enough to want something more. She was only interested in being the best at volleyball and being the best captain for the girls, nothing more.
That was, until, she met you.
She was enamored by you right from the start, with your shy smile and soft features. She wanted nothing more than to get to know you. After finally getting the chance to talk to you after two years, she had fallen for you, deep. All those late-night talks through text made her understand that you were more than a mere crush, more than any of the girls on those blind dates. The way you viewed the world made her want to become something more to you. She wanted to be included in your world.
Life started to mean more than just volleyball, and she noticed that you made her happy, actually happy.
She hoped that you would give her the chance to do the same for you. Now, with the revelation that the person she worried so much about you liking was her, she was beyond the moon. She just hoped you wouldn’t be disappointed that she was the one behind the texts.
It was the Saturday after the eventful day, and Yunjin was nervous. She blamed it on the finals game they had tomorrow, but in reality, it was the first time she was alone with you after knowing that you liked her.
After running to you during her lunch break from her shift at the diner two months ago, she had established a weekly routine of getting lunch with you every Saturday. The diner she worked at was near the hospital she volunteered at, so grabbing lunch together before visiting the kids was another highlight of your week.
"Did something happen?" You asked as you sat across the captain.
You had arrived at the booth a while ago, and the captain hadn’t said much but to order. She was fidgeting with the straw of her iced coffee, bending it over repeatedly as she looked at anywhere but you.
"What? No!" Yunjin’s eyes flitted to yours, before quickly looking away again.
"Nothing’s wrong."
"Then how come you’re avoiding me?" You asked, slightly pouting.
Yunjin nearly kissed you on the spot at the sight of you pouting cutely.
She had been refusing to meet your eyes because she knew that the second she did, all defenses would fall, and she would just confess her love to you. It has been like that for the last few days, ever since she knew that you liked her back; she wanted nothing more than to have you in her arms. But she hadn’t thought of a plan on how to ask you out yet; she also had to confess to you that she was the one behind the texts. This scared her, worried that you would hate her for lying to you about not knowing who you were.
"I-I’m not." Yunjin stuttered, still refusing to look at you in the eye.
Before you could reply, the waitress brought over your food. You always got the same thing, blueberry pancakes with scrambled eggs on the side, while Yunjin always had her protein lunch filled with eggs, chicken, and tofu. It didn’t really look good, but Yunjin made sure her body was in the best shape for volleyball.
Today’s meal was slightly different. The waitress had also brought in a plate with two gingerbread cookies, both with cute red buttons and frosty smiles.
"We give out gingerbread cookies to our customers every year around Christmas time," the waitress explained, her eyes twinkling mischievously, "Enjoy!"
Yunjin watched you from the corner of her eyes as you excitedly took a few photos of the cookies.
"Look Yunjinnie, they’re holding hands!"
Yunjin wished she could hold hands with you.
"This one looks more like you." You giggled, moving the plate forward to show her.
The restaurant workers seemingly did not put their heart into decoration because the one you insisted that looked like Yunjin had lopsided eyes and a way out of proportion mouth, so wide that it went higher than the eyes.
"Are you saying I look ugly?" She said, pretending to be offended.
"What? No!" You interjected, blushing a deep red and pulling back the plate to inspect the cookies. "I meant that you always have a big smile like this, meeting your eyes."
That’s because I only smile like this when I’m with you, Yunjin thought.
"Here, try one." You broke the cookies apart and raised one of the cookies towards Yunjin’s face.
"I can’t. I have to stay in shape for tomorrow's game." Yunjin was taken aback at your forwardness. She was normally the one flirting, and you were the shy one. It seems that the roles have reversed today.
"C’mon. Just one bite wouldn’t hurt." You wheedled. "Please?"
Yunjin’s eyes finally met yours. Big mistake.
Your eyes, every so bright, were staring at her pleadingly, with a hint of something that Yunjin couldn't quite put a finger on. Was it affection? Adoration?
Nevertheless, the captain immediately gave in and took a bite of the cookie in your hands. She would always do anything for you.
"It’s…It’s good." Yunjin managed to say, her gaze still locked with yours.
You let out a satisfied grin and brought the same cookie to your lips, pausing slightly before taking a bite.
Yunjin’s brain went into a full system shutdown. YOU JUST ATE THE COOKIE SHE HAD. IT WAS AN INDIRECT KISS. I REPEAT. INDIRECT KISS.
“Mhmmm… It’s so good. Tastes like Christmas.” You said, finally breaking eye contact and looking at the rest of the cookies in front of you.
“It’s almost the end of the year.” You said softly, before looking up again at the flustered girl.
End of the year.
Yunjin’s heart went into rapid speed, and her blood went cold. Could you have possibly known that she was the one texting you? How else would you know the importance of the end of the year to her? She had promised you that she would confess to her crush before the end of the year if only you would become her wingwoman.
Shaking her head slightly to push out the possibility, she tried to forget about her ‘delusions’. You didn’t know. There was no way.
Thankfully, you changed the topic to her games tomorrow, saving her from embarrassing herself.
“Will you be at the game tomorrow?” Yunjin asked as she walked you to the hospital after lunch.
“Of course.” You said, gently holding onto her arm to keep yourself from slipping on the icy roads. (Yunjin’s heart still stuttered whenever you did that).
“I never miss a game, remember?”
“Will you-Will you be cheering for me?” Yunjin asked hesitantly.
“Hmm? I always cheer for you girls, pabo.” You laughed, nudging the taller girl.
“No, I mean,” Yunjin looked at your hands clutching tightly on her arm. Deciding to brave herself for the first time today, she asked, “Will you wear my number?”
She watched as your cheeks turn pink at her words.
“I don’t know…you have quite a lot of fangirls already.” You answered, hitting both of you with déjà vu.
“But none of them are you.” The orange-haired girl stopped walking, gently pulling you around to look at her.
To say you were in deep was an understatement. You had fallen hard for the captain, in love even. Her beauty and confidence were what had drawn you to her at first, but after getting to really know her through those texts, you had started to fall in love with her. Her mind, the way she thought, and her endless patience… she was something that was too good to be true.
“What are you trying to say?” You asked, searching her eyes for any hint of hesitation. You found none, only determination and softness in those honey-brown hues.
“I’m saying…” Yunjin paused, composing herself before she stared back into your eyes, “I like you, Y/N, a lot.”
“And it would be nice if I can take you out on a date.” She continued, her eyes gleaming hopefully.
“But only if you want to.” She hastily added.
You laughed at the last sentence. She was always so considerate, worried that she would be doing something without your consent. And that was what you loved about her.
“I would love to.” You said, before standing on your tiptoes to kiss the tip of her frozen nose. Yunjin froze at the feeling of your soft lips on her skin.
“But only if you win the game tomorrow.”
Yunjin let out a sigh of relief before gently wrapping her arms around your waist, pulling you closer. All those sleepless nights dreaming of you were worth it.
“Easy.”
.
.
.
.
As the captain got ready for bed, a familiar buzz came from her phone. It was from you.
I better see your jersey in front of my door tomorrow, Huh Yunjin.
Yunjin let out a scream, scaring Lia, who was already passed out, and causing her to fall off her own bed.
"What the hell?" Lia groaned from the floor, looking up at her roommate.
"She knows it’s me. And she’s okay with it!" Yunjin said, giggling like a schoolgirl and dancing around. "She likes me back!"
Sighing, Lia slowly dragged herself up from the floor and laid horizontally back on her bed, too tired to crawl back under the covers.
"Go to bed, Yunjin."
Giggling to herself, the captain quickly texted you goodnight, receiving another sweet message from you.
As she went to turn off the lights, she looked at her roommate, sleeping with her mouth open and dressed in her greenish-grey fuzzy pajamas.
Lia did indeed look like a sloth. A cute one.
“Why does Yunjin-unnie have a sunburn?” Eunchae whispered, not so quietly.
“That’s not a sunburn, that’s the glow of love, manchae.” Yeji laughed, patting the taller girl’s head affectionately.
“Love? What?” Eunchae furrowed her brows, clearly out of the loop.
"Someone in the stands is rocking her jersey," Chaeryeon added, grinning mischievously, despite Yunjin shooting her a disapproving look as they continued warming up for the game.
“One-third of the crowd is wearing her number,” Eunchae whined, scanning the crowd again for Yunjin’s possible lover.
You waved shyly to the girls (mostly to Yunjin) as you moved to sit on the bleachers with your friends. You had found a box containing Yunjin’s jersey and a light blue bandana, along with a single rose in front of your dorm room when you woke up in the morning.
You had put on the jersey and decided to tie your hair with the silky bandana, and adding a dash of sparkling highlighter. You wanted to look your best for the captain.
Unable to resist herself, Yunjin made her way towards the railings near the bleachers, ignoring the teasing hoots coming from her members. You walked down a few levels to meet her at the other side of the railing.
“Hi,” she said cutely, her eyes sparkling in happiness as she checked you out. You looked so good in her jersey.
“Hi, Yunjinnie.”
“You look good.” She bit her lip and reached over to hold your hands in hers.
“You better win this game, Yunjin. I’m looking forward to our date.”
“Of course. I play better when I’m in a good mood.” Yunjin leaned over and pressed her lips on your forehead.
“And you make me happy.”
.
.
.
.
“Aw man...” Eunchae said sadly, watching her captain and you cuddling up together. “I wanted to date Y/N-unnie.”
“You’re too young for dating, Hong Eunchae.” The rest of the girls said in unison, before grabbing the maknae away from the scene.
It's a long one!
A bit of fluff for Christmas :)

. . . SAKURA (사쿠라)
i. has all of your upcoming events saved in her calendar. as an idol, she has her own responsibilities and tasks to worry about, but she still finds a way to squeeze you into her daily life. even when she's out on tour she'll text you about your upcoming dentist appointment, gently reprimanding you on setting your alarms so you wake up on time. sometimes it can come off as if she's micromanaging you but it's just her way of showing you that she pays attention. ii. kisses you for reassurance. everyone has their rough days and insecurities and while it's normal to cry out in frustration and simply just want to sleep away all of your worries, kkura is more than happy to coddle and kiss away all of those unsure and deprecating thoughts. if your eyebrows furrow and lips fall into a pout, she won't hesitate to pinch your cheeks and lay repeated soft pecks on your lips. sometimes to make herself feel better she'll go to you for the kisses.
. . . CHAEWON (김채원)
i. teases you but won't let anyone do the same. teasing each other has become you and chaewon's main love language in the relationship. you have secret code nicknames for each other, inside jokes, and funny little phrases you say to each other that only the two of you would understand. she relishes in the fact that you two have such a strong bond and basically your own little language that you communicate in. so, it always bugs her to the highest degree when someone calls you a teasing nickname that she made up specifically for you that should only be used by her. she'll scowl and side-eye the person for overstepping boundaries but it'll quickly be replaced with a triumphant smile when you say "hey, only my girlfriend can call me that." ii. spontaneous bear hugs. first she did it to comfort you, but now it became a game of sneaking up on each other and surprising them with a gigantic bear hug. neither of you take it seriously as a game meant to be won, it's just a nice surprise and burst of affection. she initiated them the most but is always delightfully surprised when you flip it back on her.
. . . YUNJIN (허윤진)
i. reminds you every few hours to eat. with her busy schedule as an idol she barely has time to fit meals in herself, yet she still reminds you on a daily basis to take care of yourself. times when you're near each other and have no plans for the day, she'll just plop down next to you with takeout from your favorite restaurant. "i could hear your stomach growling in my dreams." she'd tease with a knowing smile. you'd start to think she's telling the truth considering she always knows what meal or snack you're craving without you even having to tell her. even though she's big on reminding you to take care of yourself, you have no problem returning the favor. always scolding her back if she forgets to eat but reminds you to. ii. becomes a lot more affectionate. before dating, her touches were always fleeting, they left just as quick as they came and always kept you wanting more. but ever since you've given her the green light on affection, she'll become your personal shadow. always following closely behind no matter where you go, whether it's to the kitchen, bathroom, or living room, she'll follow you to the next country if you let her. she can't help herself, always holding, rubbing, caressing, and kissing the parts of you she adores the most while struggling to hold herself back when in public. you're always on the receiving end of a pout when you unwrap her arms from around your waist cause of possible nearby cameras, but it never lasts long when you join your pinkies together in a more subtle display of affection.
. . . KAZUHA (카즈하)
i. takes photos of the beautiful sceneries she sees while traveling. as an idol, if she's not on a variety show or practicing she's probably on a stage somewhere and it's more than likely out of the country. while traveling to these different sites she always snaps the prettiest photos for you to see, hoping that you realize that although she may be away from you momentarily you are always on her mind and her true home and eye of beauty, is you. ii. random cafe dates! if you're lucky enough to travel with her she'll drag you to the nearest cafe to taste test all of the beautifully decorated pastries and drink all of the hot and cold drinks til' your bellies can no longer contain all of the sugary sweetness. these becoming her favorite moments as she gazes at you adoringly in a small enclosed cafe, the lighting low and warm as you throw your head back and laugh at a joke kazuha mutters to you, completely unaware of the foam mustache you've adorned.
. . . EUNCHAE (은채)
i. has to relate every item/character she comes across to you. eunchae doesn't know what it is, pure infatuation or if you've put a spell on her that makes her obsessed with you, because now all she can see and think about is you in almost every little thing. anytime she's watching a cartoon and a character does something a little silly or resembles you in the tiniest way she's always quick to point it out. terribly hidden giggles erupt from her when you frown at the newfound character she says resembles you because of it's lack of cute factor. the more you dislike a character she thinks resembles you the more she becomes obsessed with the idea of it being you, even turning around to buy matching keychains or phone cases of said character just to tease you. you fake like it bothers you but it endears you, especially when you get a random text a 2am from her saying "you❤️" with a picture attached of said character sleeping cutely. ii. randomly gives you gifts. going back to her last habit, she'll randomly pop up with new matching phone cases, or plushies, that she just 'had to buy' because they were on sale. she loves the idea of going shopping with you and coming across cute accessories that match in both of your fave colors. anything to subtly remind everyone else that you're hers to keep.

our little place
out little place- huh yunijn x producer! reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: you and yunjin had a place always.
tags: angst, break-up, booo to hybe for making them break up, aespa being oblivious, they were actually so cute before the break up 1.7k words
Tumblr media
now despite you and yunjin or jennifer being on relatively bad-ish terms after the breakup, you would still rush over to her if she were to reach out to her.
you had a bad experience to be attached to the past. so you made a rule to yourself that if that was the past call you would never answer. it was a toxic trait nonetheless you had but for some odd reason, yunjin was always the exception to this rule.
even when one of your exes of the past called for some reason you always never answered them except her.
it was a nice sunny day when she broke up with you. you were a producer at sm and she was a hybe trainee in a secret relationship with each other. both of your companies would definitely not like to see the top-ranked either dating each other or worse 'spilling' company secrets to each other.
both of you were walking through a secluded park just outside of the center of seoul where the sun was shining down happily. your hand in hers, just looking like a super clingy best friend in public. both you and she sat down near a pond in the shade just admiring how the light refracted in the pool. birds chirping softly all around, the sound of a bush being ruffled while a squirrel went through it, and yunjin head on your shoulder.
to you, this was the perfect moment until it wasn't. "hey, y/n," yunjin whispered out your name as if she didn't want you to hear it.
"yea yunjin," you whispered back to her jokingly, still laying your head on top of hers.
she shifted her head away from you holding your shoulder forcing you to make eye contact with her, "i want to break up."
you stood silent for a second debating if she was joking or actually serious. "is this like a joke or uh you're serious?" you questioned her as she held your shoulder still.
she only removed her hands from your figure where she had silently nodded as her panicked eyes tried not to meet yours. two figures on the bench no more than strangers now. "can i at least ask why?" you said breaking the silence between the two of you while trying to take her hands in yours to make sure she panicked a bit less.
she bit her lip and she cried oh so sadly. she shook her head as her hands retreated from yours leaving you alone in our or more like your little place now.
Tumblr media
that incident happened about nine months ago and well yunjin had made it into being an idol. meanwhile, you had gotten lucky and were assigned as aespa exclusive producer at sm. you still couldn't get over the fact that the american had broken up with you in such a matter and blocked you.
it was a weird experience moving on to yunjin never having the closure that you had usually gotten from your previous relationships. but there was something about yunjin that you weren't able to let go of. it didn't help that aespa was friends with yunjin always when going over to see her told you about how fun she was and thinking that both of you would get along.
you of course brushed it off with a cool, "i uh gotta make deadlines," every time though it wasn't an exact truth it wasn't really a lie. even with about a year behind you after the incident, you were definitely not ready to face the new idol, or ever for that matter. turning back towards your bright lighted monitors that were filled with new lyrics and tracks for aespa comeback. as you hear, the four idols behind you discuss random things as you set up the booth for what they need to record next.
Tumblr media
yunjin was a wreck.
or at least that's what she thought she was without you. ever since that fateful day of having to break up with you. in order to save face for both of you since you were outed by one of her fellow trainees. she had never felt so empty on the inside; yes, she had these amazing girls in the world to be in the group with. don’t get her, le sseafim was the most amazing thing to ever happen to her, but was it worth sacrificing her entire half to do this?
over a month ago, she was so sure of her decision, but yet here she was crying on the floor of a random practice room at 2 a.m. with multiple calls from the two eldests and numerous messages that seemed to never end. her brain has always been scattered for the past week, no matter how much reorganizing, journaling, or songwriting she has done.
a blurb of the week is what it was. too fast to recount everything, but too slow to pass by. She could always find time these types of weeks to think about you. did you block her back? maybe you have someone else now? or worse, maybe you had forgotten her completely.
whatever the case was, it didn't end her undying craving to see you or be in your presence again. the comfort you had provided the past her, the soft sunlight that always seemed to shone down on you with your walks in the parks, and that stupidly adorable laugh. for now, all she could convince herself was to hold herself back while warm tears were streaming down her face. as she utters to herself underneath her breath, ‘"i wish i could see you again,” ' while packing all her things and heading to le sserafim dorms again.
Tumblr media
you on the other hand were also not doing too hot either.
you weren't a complete mess per say but let's just say your bosses weren't very pleased lately with your worth ethic. checking your phone constantly for messages, how you didn't put aespa constantly at work like some fellow producers, or how long it took you to produce a song for them.
all of these criticism were slowly but surely killing your creative output and also the insurmountable pressure from fans to create another song that tops the last didn't help either.
you know what you needed yunjin. no wait. you don't need her, she left you. or at least that the argument you always battle against yourself. you went down to the vending machine as the machine light flickered, with a variety of snacks reflecting your tired figure. it was just another day of the week for you, the company barren at this unholy hour you were here.
another unhealthy energy drink entered your system by the time you had left the place where the machine was as you made your way back towards your second home. you hear slight whispers and giggles from across one of the halls. you look over curious to see who would also be at this hell hole willingly, seeing three figures you could make out. winter, ning ning, and her.
god. she look like she was doing well. you quickly turned back towards the direction of the studio after briefly seeing her not wanting to draw any attention yourself. a small smile plastered over your face as you walked away from the scene.
Tumblr media
oddly enough you never turned back and saw the figure looking back at you with such shock at your state.
yunjin had never once seen you look so disarrayed or sleep-deprived in her life. she knew that you still worked at sm for some time now but never knew what you were up to.
her thoughts were interrupted by an excited ning ning, "oh! that's y/n do you know her?" the youngest asked.
she looked over where your figure once was, lingering a little bit too long in her opinion to be over her ex. a simple reply of  "no," was given as the younger simply pouted, and the eldest being a little skeptical of her answers to her actions.
“you sure?” the short-haired girl questioned, looking over at the american in disbelief. yunjin noted how her facade was slowly crumbling in front of winter. panic rushed over her taking over her head again as she felt her heartbeat slowly travel to her head like a punch each time it pounded.
“yep,” she shakily replied as she racked her mind with a single excuse of wanting to see you. the aespa members had bought the lie for now, but she now looked at her sweaty hands gripping her phone again. wanting, no. needing to call out for you just down the hall but she couldn’t then and there, especially with people.
Tumblr media
it was six am the next morning where you had received a call. you flipped over the incessant noise making phone calls to see who was crazy enough to call a person at this hour. it was you ex. yunjin.
you looked in pure shock and disbelief. deciding not to pick up the phone but instead let it ring through. picking up the phone a minute after your ex had call you. only too see that she had left a message.
curious to see what your ex had to say after your not so amicable break up you pressed play. there a single sentence was shakily uttered out from the voice you had loved so dearly.
'meet me at our place.'
then the message had ended. you rushed out in your pajamas, towards the park you and yunjin had always visit before. grabbing only your phone and wallet before rushing out.
after 15 minutes of sprinting to the park you saw a figure sitting waiting out on the bench facing out towards the pond that both of you once enjoyed. you walked slowly out on the path now not wanting to disturb her but of course you had to step on a twig, snapping it. making the figure turn its head around facing you wide eyed and seemingly almost out words.
"you came?" yunjin uttered out in a low voice as if she was never truly expected you to show up. after all she was the one who abandoned you for no reason, explanation, and had blocked you on all social media.
you smiled at her gently, before responding softly back "you called?" finally glad too see her and talk to her once again.

Tumblr media
8:46am.
that was the time you woke up, due to yunjin’s buzzing texts that blared out of your phone, and into your ears. the texts were nothing much, just her sending ‘good morning’ texts and some voice messages.
you got from your bed, head all fuzzy from the way you slept last night. you headed over to your kitchen, opening up the fridge as the bright light that was contained inside dawned onto you. you grabbed a random snack out of the fridge, then closing it as you set it down onto the table.
you opened up your phone, seemingly, it was the perfect timing. you were met with a call from your girlfriend as you immediately picked it up. “hi, jen!” you spoke into the phone, “hi, yn!” you could feel your morning brightening up already by the sweet sound of yunjin’s voice. “did you sleep well?” you asked while getting a bowl out of the cabinets, “ehh.. it was okay. you?” she responded as you set the bowl onto the counter.
“it was.. not too bad.” you answered. “great great, okay, i have to go now, bye pretty girl.” she greeted goodbye as you did the same, hanging up. after taking a few seconds to process the conversation, you could feel your cheeks heat up a bit at the nickname.
‘pretty girl’.
5:46pm.
at that moment, yunjin was in an intense battle with some foes that she had just encountered. she did her best to fend them off, the only thing running around in her mind right now; you. they were doing significant damage, talking some trash as well. but yunjin could care less—this was all apart of her job. if she made it alive, then that would mean she could come see you. that was all that mattered.
meanwhile, you were studying. the dim light coming from your desk lamp flickered onto your notebook as you looked over at your book and laptop at times. studying was like hell for you, but at least you still tried your best.’
you checked your phone, seeing no texts from yunjin yet. maybe shes just having a busy day today, you thought, and you couldnt be more right. indeed she was. she was stuck in your mind all day, and you were wondering when she was gonna come visit so you had a reason to just stop studying. you snapped out of your trance, picking your pen up and starting to write down onto the white, thin paper.
time seemed to fly by.. fast, yunjin thought, looking down at her phone. the time read ‘7:04’. she was placed in an empty alleyway, lit up by the streetlights.. barely. she gripped her phone tight as she shot a web, flying up into the air, holding on. she looked around the city, trying to find her way back. (to your apartment)
the slight soreness in her body caused her to be less efficient when heading over to your apartment, but she was still determined to get there as fast as she ever could. for her one and only, girlfriend.
after some time of thinking (hanging on the web like a lost puppy), she finally calculated the way back, shooting multiple webs on and on until she finally made it. she popped up at your bedroom window, knocking. her position at the moment was.. uncomfortable to say the least. she looked like a weirdo trying to get into a rando’s apartment, which that definitely werent her intentions.
as soon as you heard the knock, your head immediately perked up. you excitedly got off of your seat, walking over to the window. you were greeted by your one and only, yunjin. she waved before you opened up the window, letting herself in. she sat herself down on the window frame.
“missed you,” she trailed off, looking around your messy room as you smiled. “i missed you too.” you responded back as she lifted up her mask, only to the point where you could see her lips. you could feel her intense gaze on you, as you couldnt help but blush. “how was it? troubling?” you questioned, turning back to your desk as you cleaned everything up, closing your notebook, closing the books that you had needed, and your laptop.
“yeah.. i havent ate yet.” she added in as you turned to her, a bit concerned. “really? do you want me to make you dinner?” you offered as she immediately nodded, “thatd sound great, pretty girl.” she giggled as she signaled for you to come closer, wrapping her arms around your waist as she pulled you in—your guys’ lips crashing onto one another as you wrapped your arms around her neck. you pulled away after a bit, taking a breath.
bright red blush dawned onto your cheeks as yunjin smiled. “..u-um.. the dinner?” you continued as yunjin got down from the window frame. “theres just one more thing..” she mumbled before taking off her mask, revealing all of the wounds and cuts. “..yunjin!” you scolded in disappointment as she just gave you an awkward smile.
and there you two were in the bathroom, yunjin standing in front of you as you were on your tippy-toes, trying to reach her face. beside you was a first-aid kit sat on a chair with all the essentials in it. “shortie,” she smiled before you just gave her a playful glare. she then bend her knees when you werent looking as you let out a sigh of relief. you patched up one of her cuts set on her forehead as she winced at the pain, “ow,” she mumbled. “dont ‘ow’ me! you shouldve been more safe,” you scolded once again, grabbing another bandaid. “okay okay, sorry!” she apologized before you secured some spots, as it seemed blood was still trying to escape the bandaid’s immense grip.
after she changed out of her spider-suit and into the spare clothes she always leaves in your room incase she visits, she headed over to where you were—the kitchen. she smiled, walking over secretly to surprise you. she wrapped her arms around your waist behind you, digging her head into the back of your neck. “hi, jen,” the action caught you off guard, and you had to admit, you were flustered. the only response you got back was a low mumble.
a few minutes after she let go of you, you finished making dinner for the both of you. “dinners ready, jen!” you called as she went over to the counter, setting herself down. you handed her her plate, and you could tell she was amazed. “wahh,, thank you, yn-ie!” she thanked, grabbing her chopsticks as you just smiled. you smiled at every little thing, clearing your throat.
after eating, a youtube run-through, and playing around, it was finally you guys decided it was time to go to bed. jen just figured she would spend the night,, again.
as you two got into bed, jen’s tall figure snuggling up against you, you felt happy. but then again, she’d have to go out into the city again. its her duty. you didnt mind at all, you’d wait for her, no matter how long it took. your train of thought was disrupted by her voice,
“yn?”
“yes, jen?”
“im so lucky to have you.”

Achilles - H.Yunjin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sypnosis: Throughout their whole lives, Yunjin has adored her Patroclus.
Tags: fluff, mentions of mythology, mentions of Song Of Achilles, just Yn being stupid and Yunjin being a simp
Pairing: Nonidol!Yunjin x Nonidol!Reader:
Authors Note: I tried to write like madeline miller (it didnt work)
➽────────────────────────────❥
Yn always loved dawn.
Its steady crimson painting of the horizon brings a certain warmth to yn, one that only its vanquishing of darkness can bring, and its pastel aftermath deemed it as the sole guardian of her happiness.
Until Yunjin.
Yn was 10 when she first met yunjin. Stiff and uncomfortable, she remembered stuffing herself in the corner of the classrom nose-deep in a book. Her eyes squinted with concentration, and a small pout donned her face as she struggled to read the words under the flourescent lighting.
She had no friends, not that she needed them. The worlds she read about were enough—worlds where heroes loved and fought, where people were grander, braver than anything in reality.
As usual, The Song Of Achilles was clutched tightly in her hand.
Even though the book was not meant for her age, due to a innaprorpiate scene (Yn always skips her part so that in her mothers words, “She could keep her innocence”), but she loved it nonetheless. The descriptions of Achilles’ brillliant skill and Patroclus’ steady devotion blew her away with amazement. As she flips page to page, her intense glare starts to lessen, and she almost feels better.
As if.
Until a voice, bright and sudden, shattered her peace.
“Is that The Song Of Achilles?”
There, between the wide array of books, stood a girl.
Her hair a deep muted brown that was identical to the oak of the library Yn loved so much. Her doed eyes, though also brown, held a different form of warmth, one that drew her in at an instant. Her cheeks were round and slightly chubby, having a sense of childishness to them that was almost cute.
It was strange to see this girl among the books she loved so much, how she seemingly erased them from sight with Yn’s sight with a single question.
Yn bit her lip, the familiar sting grounding her in the present. Yet, beneath the sharpness, there was a restlessness—a ripple in her otherwise steady world, a world that Yunjin, with her radiant curiosity, had already begun to disturb.
“Yn bit down on her lip, feeling the brief sting pull her back into the present, grounding her in her discomfort. 'Yes…' The word lingered in the air, fragile, before she could catch it. 'It’s my favorite book—one of them, at least.' The girl’s gaze held fast, each word Yn spoke sinking deep into her like roots seeking water.
Yn felt, for the first time in a long while, the weight of someone listening, truly listening. It was almost enough to make her want to say more, to let the words spill, but her pride stopped her.
She would not yield.
Really?' There was a flicker in Yunjin’s eyes, something like the dawn she loved so much. Soft and patient, waiting.
It was almost god-like.
It unnerved Yn how open her expression was, unguarded and full of hope.
That openness felt like an invitation, and in it, Yn sensed the edge of vulnerability that made her…scared.
'…yes.' The word slipped out like a confession. As if summoned, Yunjin stepped closer, her presence warm like the hazy setting of the horizon as it creeped across the room.
Yn watched, helpless, as the girl settled beside her, limbs unfolding with the lazy grace of a mountain lion at rest. There was something disarming about Yunjin—something that softened the edges of Yn’s usual defenses, making the tightness in her shoulders ebb away. What spell did this girl put on her?
“Who’s your favourite in the book?” The words seemed to come naturally to Yn this time, tumbling out before she could stop them. She bit her bottom lip, almost also in intervening from any more questions from spilling as the girl pursed her lip in thought.
“I like….Achilles.” A small smile appeared on the girls face, one seemingly brimming with satisfation at her answer.
“Achilles?”
“Oh.”
Achilles, the brilliant, the fast, the genius. Yn noted how the girl’s vibrant presence seemed to echo the character's brilliance. In that moment, she couldn’t help but see something of him in the way Yunjin smiled, unshakable and bright, like the sun.”
Yn tilted her head slightly, her gaze narrowing as the girl’s smile broadened. The soft light from the dim lamps barely reached them, yet Yunjin seemed to carry her own radiance, something that, despite her hesitance, drew Yn in.
“My name is Yunjin! Im new here.” the girl announced, her eyes crinkling with a warmth that Yn couldn’t even pretend to have.
So this was the new girl everyone was talking about, the one that was “bound to become the new popular kid”.
“That’s so pretty!”
So why was she here?
“What’s yours?” Yunjin once again questioned, blinking as she watched the girl flinch.
“….Yn.”
Yn avoided her gaze as she bit her lip nervously.
“Really?”
“Yeah!”
Yn peered at Yunjin, searching for any hint of mockery, but found none. Instead, Yunjin’s grin only widened.
Why was this girl so simple?
“We should be friends.” ”Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
Huh.
As she looked back at her pages, a familiar warmth settled in her chest.
For the first time in a long while, the dawn seemed a little brighter.
Yn felt a smile creep up her lips.
In the summer they turned 16 Yn’s classmates prediction proved correct. It was as though the world had been waiting to notice her, and when it finally did, her popularity skyrocketed.
But Yunjin had help.
With Yunjin’s constant sunshine and laughter, Yn was now labelled as her silent but steady companion. Known for her devoted nature, Yn’s cat-eyed stares kept their followers at bay, always remaining at least 3 meters away from them. (Im canadian, sue me)
But now matter how intimidating she tried to seem, it seemed some fans would always slip through.
Yn leaned foward on board surrounding the volleyball court, watching as Yunjin got surrounded by students.
It was a breaktime before the second set, and she watched as Yunjin grinned at her disciples, toothy and goofily shaking the hands reached out to touch her, as if she was a god.
Yn rolled her eyes, before leaning into the boards even more to get her attention.
Yn raised a hand in a wave, and, without hesitation, Yunjin ran forward, tearing through the crowd like a hungry animal. She wrapped Yn in an embrace that was as fierce as it was sudden, her arms tight, almost crushing, around her. The way she gave so much of herself without holding back was slightly overwhelming, but it felt nice.
It felt like Yunjin.
In the press of Yunjin’s body against hers, in the unchecked joy that radiated from her, Yn felt a breath of something warm in her chest.
“Hi.” She heard the the taller girl whisper, pressing her face into Yn’s neck as she pulled her impossibly closer.
“You’re choking me.” Yn grumbled, her voice muffled.
“Oopsies.” Unwinding herself, Yunjin still kept her arms around Yn’s waist as she observed her outfit.
Yn remembered the day Yunjin had gotten into their team. Her excited banging on her door and she engulfed her with giggles. Yn remembers being thrown a black jersey with a bright number 10, and Yunjin’s anticipated blinks.
“Please wear it to our games.” She remembered Yunjin pleading, avoiding her gaze as she intertwiend their fingers together in desperation.
So, she wore it to the game this afternoon.
“You’re staring.”
“Oh.”
Yunjin’s gaze was unwavering, her eyes tracing the contours of Yn’s jersey with a soft smile. “You look…” She hesitated, then added, “Good.”
Yn snorted lightly. “Litearlly everyone’s wearing the same exact jersey, ‘ace’.” She teased slightly, using the nickname the crowd seemed to love.
“Still, yours is…” She didnt need to finish that sentence. They both knew.
“Whatever.” Yn peeked out a smile, grabbing Yunjin’s attention in a flash.
Suddenly, the coach blew their whistle noisily, causing the two to jump slightly.
Yn snickred as Yunjin muttered slightly, seemingly frustrated at their moment being interrupted.
“You smiled too!” Yunjin groaned as she slumped over, pouting.
“I’m still going to watch.” Yn pushed the girl gently, rolling her eyes in amusement.
“Go on, win for me ‘ace’.” Yn watched as the girl blinked, processing her sentence, before flushing a dark red and nodding furiously.
“Bet.”
As the girl jumped over the board and made her way to the net, a new determination in her, Yn sighed slightly as she leaned back.
She watched as Yunjin readied herself, the concentration in her eyes was something not even Yn could created. Yn never admitted it, but something about this side of Yunjin made her smile.
Its silence, its waiting.
She watched as the volleyball smashed through, as the setter drew herself to prepare.
Yunjin took back steps percisely, something that always amazed her. Its accuracy, its power.
Yn knew it all too well.
Yunjin suddenly stumbled, waking Yn from her trance. The opponents paused, confusion obvious in their expression, but they should have known better.
Yn should have known better.
Just then, a jump, and a tap.
Yunjin feinted the ball, and the crowd was silent as the ball dropped.
There was no stumble, no clumsyness in her actions.
Yunjin, just like Achilles always did, used the ever so trickable human error against the other team.
Yn blinked. Even from within their childhood to now, Yn has never seen Yunjin trip. The way she walked, ran, did anything, was always so smooth, it was like gliding.
It was almost unreal.
The crowd cheered.
As they locked eyes, Yunjin pointed at her with a beam.
“This is for you.” Yunjin mouthed, drawing her lips up to a childish grin.
As always, there was no taunting in her words. In her eyes, full of affection and victory, help something behind its layers of joy.
Yn bit her lip, torn between Yunjin’s contagious delight and her confusion.
The question lingered in her mind, one that stayed until night:
Why did Yunjin like her so much?
Strayed romances and beloved heartbreaks seemed to wage like war, cupids arrows flying wildly and Yn and Yuniin stayed in their sanctuary.
Yn closed her eyes, enjoying the hushed raindrops that surrounded Yunjin’s room. As always, her lifetime companion laid beside her, eyes concentrated on the blurry tv screen.
As part of their routine, Yunjin was watching mean girls on the shitty television, one they had bought at a garage sale with their combined budget.
Yn rolled her eyes as Yunjin giggled at Regina George’s song, kicking her feet as if in love. “At this point i should just break this television.” Yn scoffed, squinting her eyes at Yunjin’s romantic admiration.
“You wouldnt understand my love for her.” Yunjin pouted, widening her mouth at love as she shaped a heart with her fingers. Yn gagged, pushing the girl away with a sneer as Yunjin laughed.
Suddenly, a call came from outside. “Yunjin!”
Yunjin groaned slightly, before throwing the blanket off herself with a huff.
“I’ll be back.” She mumbles, before shutting the door behind her.
As Yunjin was off, Yn glanced around her room. Despite being more in Yunjin’s room than her own, there was always a feeling the lighting and plants gave off that seemed to relax Yn.
Due to Yunjins bubbly and loud personality, Yn always thought that her room would be extremely messy and out-of-place.
However, looking at the room’s decoration, it felt nothing like that.
Yes, the room was slightly tumbled around, with its off centre paintings covering the walls, but it felt sharp, calm, real.
It felt like Yunjin.
Slipping out of bed, she made way to the small bookshelf in Yunjin’s corner, one full of different books that both she and Yn collected throughout the summers. Tracing her fingers across the books spines, she stopped at a specific title. The Song Of Achilles. Pulling the book out gently, Yn observed how the book seemed weared down. Between the yellowing pages were different labels and highlights, but the condition of the paper seemed to be fully taken care of, as if every page was traced with love.
Yunjin always seemed to do that.
As she flipped through the pages, she paused slightly, tilting her head slightly as a bright yellow flashed by. Stopping at the page, she squinted. On the page, underneath a pink highlight of the word love, stuck a bright yellow note, vandalized by Yunjin’s messy handwriting. On it, it read:
“Yn makes me feel this…i hope i can make her feel it too”
A breathe,
A blink.
In the comfort of Yunjins room, with it’s fairy lights and over-the-place positioning, her heart squeezed. It was a slight feeling, but one, despite its small clench, that changed Yn.
In her smiles and eye crinkles, in her goofy humor, in her doe-eyed observation, Yn found something.
In Yunjin, Yn found love.
A small grin made its way to Yunjin’s face as she flipped her page. The small tunes of a song played behind them, and, with that, hushed rain as well.
As time flew by, Yunjin, being the puppy she is, followed Yn to university. She remembered her eye-crinkling grin as she pushed open Yn’s door (as usual) to celebrate getting in, only to get the alchohol in her hand to get thrown out Yn’s window.
Now, the duo made an effort to re-enter their usual routine. (Wihtout the shitty television this time)
Yn sighed slightly, lying on her bed as she glanced around her room.
Despite being at the university for 2 years already, the dorm was fairly clean. Even with Yunjin’s begging, Yn refused to share a dorm with her. Mainly based on how overbearing she constantly was, but also because she probably couldnt handle living with a girl she was in love with.
However, as always, Yunjin rammed down her door with popcorn and books, demanding to hang out.
That was how it came to now, how, even though she was supposed to be taking a nap, Yn now found herself entangled in Yunjin’s attention-seeking whines.
“Yn?” Yunjin’s voice called, snapping her back to the present.
“Hm?” Yn hummed, putting her arm over her eyes to cover the light (yunjin) hovering over her.
“What do you think would be the perfect confession?”
Yn’s breathe hitched.
Refusing to let herself overthink, Yn pursed her lip in thought.
“Mm…a bouquet of flowers and and a hi.” Yn smiled, Yunjin’s graceful charm bugging the back of her mind.
“Really?”
Then, without warning, Yunjin rose quickly to her feet, her movements a blur of speed. Before Yn could fully register what was happening, Yunjin was halfway to the door, her fiery spirit always one step ahead.
“Wait!” Just before Yunjin rushed through the door, Yn managed to grab the skin of her sweater, furrowing her brows in annoyance.
“Its pouring outside, where are you going to go in this weather?” She panted.
“Emergency.” Yunjin said, her grin lopsided and full of mischief, the kind of smile that made Yn’s heart breathe everytime.
Then, before she could respond, Yn felt the door click.
“Where did Yunjin go?” Ryujin, her dormmate called from the kitchen.
“Only god knows.” Yn grumbled under her breath, slumping back to her bedroom to clean up the mess Yunjin made in her hurry.
A few hours later, Yn was taking care of her billion plants. As usual, they were all from Yunjin, who decided to ruin Yn’s peace with another horrific task that took hours. But, when she saw her raw joy and brilliant smile, she couldnt refuse.
Walking by all the plants, she fiddled with their leaves and stems, gently handling the blooming flowers as she fed them water.
Just as she was watering the last one, one Yunjin demanded to call Patro (for patroclus) near the entrance, the door swung open, revealling a soggy Yunjin. Yn gasped as she took her in, her usual fiery red hair now in wet strands that were damp and low. In her clenched fist, a bouquet of flowers sprung open, seemingly dry compared to the person.
Yn looked in Yunjin’s eyes, slight hesitance showing through despite the amount of hope she conveyed.
Her hair, her eyes her smile, all things that belonged to Yunijn and Yunjin only.
“Hi.” Yunjin breathed.
But Yunjin’s heart?
Yunjin’s heart was hers.
Her Achilles.
Her dawn.
Yn always loved dawn.

An unforgiven mistake - Le Sserafim Western AU - Part one
A big shoutout to @mechaknight-98 who managed to push me outside my comfort zone and explore a new genre, more action focused. I can say I was able to not reveal the main interest till maybe the end of this first part. Let me know what y'all think about It🫂
Tumblr media
Fort Hybe, 1860. It's another warm day in the base built in the West of a country that in the future was going to be one of the powerful in the world. Every resident of the outpost is carrying out their duties: patrolling the area, building guns, selling every type of goods. And what about you? As every morning, you were going toward the office of your superiore, the general Kim Chaewon, eager to discover and complete your assignments. "Good morning, general", you greeted her, performing the military salute. "Mhh? Oh, it's you, cadet. Yeah, morning or whatever", she casually replied, while looking out of her window, before walking towards the desk to read some papers. "You arrived at the right moment, I have the perfect task for you: an hour ago our soldiers captured an unknow individual who was acting suspicious, according to the reports. Bring her to Captain Yunjin to be interrogated and then come to report to me at the end", she ordered, lazily, yawning and looking to her pocket watch. "Yes, ma'am, I will do my best", you enthusiastically nodded. You really were trying your best to impress the general, you were not the greatest lover of this militar life nor you were the perfect soldier, but the huge crush on your superior was enough to make you choose such an hard path of life. You really would have fought a war for Kim Chaewon. And even if your limits were evident, despite her forever cold look, you managed to obtain her reliance; sure, you were still the lowest grade of the whole forth, but Chaewon still preferred to assign a big majority of duties to you among all the other people at her service. "Don't get too worked up tho, I'm sure it's nothing. Probably someone of your idiot comrades was just getting bored and decided to abuse his power and ruin the day of an innocent citizien", she explained, sighing and going back to the window, a sign that you could go.
After leaving the office, you went to the fort jail, where the majority of the cells were occupied by drunkards and petty thieves. After taking the cells keys from the prison guard, you walked up toward the room where "the suspect" was being hold. You were for surprised when you realized that behind the bars was not some loud woman or scary man, but just a really young and pretty girl, looking all confused and scared. "Uhm..are you the suspect arrested this morning?", you asked, scratching your chin, more puzzled than the girl in front of you. "Yes...but...I have not done anything, I don't even know why I am here", the girl with a really pale skin answered, barely holding back her tears. General Chaewon was right once again: there was no criminal to question; sure, she was not a familar face, but you really doubt that she was being a menace for anyone, the poor girl was terrified. "Don't worry, I'm sure it was made a mistake. I'm sure nothing will happen to you. What's your name?", you talked with a soft tone, crouching down to be at her level and reassure her. "I'm Kazuha, I live outside the forth", she replied, slightly less anxious in front of your kindness. "Well, Kazuha, even if I believe to your innocence, I have still to bring you talk with one of my superiors. It's just a formal procedure, probably you will be free in less than half an hour", you cut the ropes around her wrists and helping her to get up. There was really no need to keep her tied.
On the road towards Capitan Yunjin office, you kept reassuring Kazuha, that was slowly gaining trust in you. Just a few more steps before arriving to the building...when you felt a cold item on the back of your neck, and you could be not wrong about it, it was the barrel of a gun. "Let her go immediately, motherfucker", an aggressive voice ordered to you. "Do it or I will make jump the brain inside your dumb head", she added, pressing the barrel against your skin. "Let's calm down, this has to be a big misunderstanding", you stated, putting your hands up in the air. "Misunderstanding my ass, you are the bastard who arrested my sister for nothing", the angry woman shouted at you, slowly starting to pull the trigger. "Sakura no! You are wrong, this person was helping me out after listening to my story", Kazuha quickly stopped her sister, revealing the truth. "Is that so?", the woman called Sakura asked to her sis, who immediately nodded with ardour, eager to avoid her savior to be killed. "Fine, but my sister won't follow you inside that place, she's coming home with me", she declared, putting the gun down and grabbing Kazuha arm, ready to leave the fort. "And instead you're going nowhere", a familar voice interrupted the conversation. Now that your neck was free from the danger of being shut down, you were able to to look back and being hella surprised by two facts: Sakura, Kazuha sister, was incredibly beautiful. She was not tall or gigantic, but she was fit enough to run for miles and, most important, she had this powerful aura. Every part of her outfit was black: the boots, the top, the vest, the pants, even her cowboy hat. You would have been another couple of minutes to admire her, but the second fact was a bit more relevant in this moment: now was her turn to feel a cold feeling behind her neck. In fact Chaewon had her rifle pointed. "General, how did you know I was here?", you asked, surprised to see her outside her office. "The captain complained that you were late wth your task, and I know how much punctual you are. I just knew something happened, so imagine my surprise in seeing my favorite cadet being menaced by this scumbag", her tone went from daring to dangerous real quick, the will of revenge in her eyes. "No miss, please, it's not what you think", Kazuha, once again begged, her nerves really being tested that morning. You sighed because you know you had some explanations to do.
"So, are saying me that the general tried to save you from miss Sakura that was trying to save miss Kazuha because she thought you were the one who erroneously arrested her sister? What a fucking mess", Captain Yunjin exclaimed, summing up the whole misunderstanding, with the head between her hands. You simply nodded to confirm the whole situation. "Well shit, somebody has to be punished for this mistake...but it's nobody of the ones present in this room", she sighed, letting herself fall on a wooden chair. "Are we forgetting that this fool was about to kill our cadet?", the general Chae reminded pointing to the woman with the cowboy hat. "It's not that deep, General, I was about to resolve the situation anyway", you tried to calm her, minimizing everything. "I don't remember asking for your opinion, cadet, stay at your place", the general immediately scolded you, kinda hurting your feeling in that way. "General, with all due respect, maybe the newbie isn't completely wrong. I'm not saying that we should her let her go without any measure about her actions", the Captain suggested and when she saw the eyes were on her, she continued. "You two own an house and a piece of land outside the fort, right? Well, I propose that our problem-solving recruit can stay with them to check the situation", she offered as solution, but immediately Chaewon seemed to have a problem with it. "Absolutely not! I won't let the newbie stay inside the house of this crazy bitch?", she protested animatedly, slamming her hand on the table. "How did you call me? Also what are we supposed to do with that weakling?", Sakura bursted out, overturning her chair in the heat. "Sis, calm down. Maybe it's not a bad idea...a couple of extra arms can be helpful in this season", she calmly said, holding her sister arm. "Let's all calm down. Miss Kazuha is right, it's not a vacation, the mission is not just about checking the situation, but also helping the sisters with whatever they need. And General, I get your worries, but the also the cadet need some experience outside this place or the promotion will never come. Furthermore we're not abandoning anyone, we will send daily agents for a report", Yunjin immediately managed to bring the peace back, her solution looking now really sensible and rational. Chaewon hated to admit it but Yunjin was right, and yet she was still annoyed, so she just walked out, stomping on the floor. "Tsk, I guess it's fine for me, whatever will put an end to this ridicolous farce", Sakura puffed, rolling her eyes back. You really weren't sure about this measure, but it was more an order than a request. You sighed and got ready to the new adventure.
An hour later you were outside, all your important stuff gathered in a knapsack, with the two sisters. "Well, you took your time", Sakura commented, while finishing to saddle her horse, Kazuha already on hers. "Who am I going with?", you asked, your tone torn between kindness and authority. "No chance in the world you're coming with me", Sakura coldly replied, looking away. "Fine, I'll go with Kazuha then", you shrugged, directing your body towards the youngest. "What? No, hold on, you're not touching my sister...ugh, whatever, come with me, but you better keep your hands at their place.", the older sister immediately changed her idea, basically pulling you towards her "pet". Finally you managed to finally move. The style of horseriding of Sakura was like hers: unbridled, wild, unruly; more than once you risked to fall having nowhere to hold yourself, only your military training saving your bones. Sakura really didn't want to see again that General bitch, so after yet another risk of falling, she took your arms and placed them around your waist. "For fuck sake, stay still! No weird movements or I'll use you as fertilizer", she screamed, getting red in face for the sudden contact. You did as requested and really were surprised to feel her firm abs, your fingers tracing them on their own and for some reason the cowgirl said nothing about it. In the meanwhile Kazuha observed the scene from the side, giggling amused.
