Craziest thing to ever happen to SP tumblr isn't making creek canon or sending fanart to the studios it's actually the bizzarre kyman shippers/Cartman stans who were hardcore conservatives and Trump voters and their impact to the community around 2014-2017

So whatever happened to happyhsouthpark and yummykyman? They were very prominent in the South Park fandom years ago (mainly Kyman shippers) and they just disappeared as the 2010s came to an end and the 2020s began. If those names sound familiar to anybody who has been in the fandom for more than a decade, does anybody know what happened to them?

(Late) Birthday gift to @yummykyman, who I consider is one of the best artists on this fandom. (This took me longer than it should)
Better take your cake before it’s too late! Stan is trying to stop Eric from eating it.
Happy Birthday!

Anonymous person: What are your personal thoughts on Scott Tenorman must die? The episode where Eric Cartman's evil was born. It changed South Park history and is still talked about to this day. Was Scott the one who turned Cartman evil? Or was the evil always in Cartman, awaiting to emerge.
Yummykyman, a deactivated account and someone who hasn’t been seen anywhere online for like years:
I wouldn’t say it’s where Cartman’s evil was born, but I wouldn’t say that the evil was always in Cartman. Unless you believe that evil is in all four boys. Before Scott Tenorman, Cartman’s cruelty was pretty much on par with Stan and Kyle’s.
Which, they’re better now, but in earlier episodes they were pretty mean.
Tumblr media
Cartman like any kid wanted to fit in. And his friends are mean so he was equally mean. But by competitive nature he’d take things a step further, always striving to be “cooler” and therefore meaner than the rest of the boys.
Him being called names and used as their guinea pig from time to time didn’t really help make Cartman become less mean. But killing Scott Tenorman’s parents is what set him over the edge, and made him realize what he could get away with.
Scott Tenorman as a bully taught Cartman the true value of humiliation and torment. When Scott just straight up burns the money that Cartman wanted back, he leaves Cartman feeling enraged, but worthless because there’s absolutely nothing he can do. It’s hard for me to watch that episode sometimes because you can practically see Cartman being broken down slowly.
When Scott shows that video of Cartman to the whole town, Cartman’s laughed at by everyone, and that’s the final straw. That’s when he decides that he needs to think of the worst thing possible to do to Scott.
And here’s an interesting little thing. Scott taught Cartman the value of humiliation, but it was Jimbo who introduced Cartman to the art of blackmail.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So no, I definitely don’t think the evil was in Cartman all along. He had a few teachers in the making of what he is. Cartman has a lot of willpower, all he needs is a little inspiration. And boy, was he inspired.
Like most children, Cartman’s compassion is considerably underdeveloped. Without compassion, I could see revenge being incredibly addicting. When Cartman was able to exact revenge and it played out just like he wanted it to, he wasn’t feeling guilt at all. Just the victory and catharsis of revenge.
Not only that, he fully realized what he could do to people. He realized he had the power to make people suffer, and from then on he used it a lot more, because it felt so good.
Hell. This might even be when his sadism was born.
