my personal headcanons for the yume nikki girls

(this is all taken place after my own au) (also an au where monoko is alive)

madotsuki:

gnc, she/they, or any but he

friend-ish of monoe, best friend of monoko, online friend of poniko

asocial, apathetic to most things after her past, and has mostly stopped caring about others see her

monoe gave her the sweater she wears today

has hypertropia in her left eye, keeps eyes just enough closed for people not to see it

still stays in room as much as she can but stays on her grades for the most part

goes to music therapy, therapist is seccom-masada sensei

monoe:

unlabeled, she/they/he

monoko's older sister, seccom masada-sensei's child

deviant, stands up for herself and monoko and mado

her school uniform has a sharper collar than monoko's, signifying her being in a higher grade than her younger sister and mado

tries to be a good role model but can't for the life of her

likes to scare people

monoko

monoe's younger sister, child of seccom masada-sensei, best friend of mado, acquaintance of poniko

timid, impressionable and follows mostly what monoe does and it surprisingly helped; she now defends herself against bullies more

school uniform collar is more smoother, signifying her youth compared to her older sister

took up drawing after seeing poniko's art

steals her sisters clothes and gets shaken by the shoulders because of it (she loves it and giggles every time)

okay at school. average. borderline failing but they manage

uniform is always messy and has to straighten themselves in the bathroom if they happen to really care that day

sneaky and has countless tricks to just sleep. teachers never know whats next

I'm gonna talk about stupid Fandom headcanons.

Said fandoms: Corpse Party, Little Nightmares, Tattletail, Yume Nikki + Yume 2kki + .Flow, a bit of Carrie, and a teensy bit of Creepypasta.

Corpse party: There's not much here, but since I'm a bit silly, I made a headcanon that Sekio really likes nachos and the ghost children get paid by Saciko for the times when they have to murder people.

Little Nightmares: I headcanon that if all of them were alive, they'd be like that, "Looks like we gotta kill this guy" meme, but instead of saying damn they'd just say ok.

Tattletail: I headcanon he makes the worst rap albums ever but still wants to be a rapper and all his albums end up in the trash.

Yume Nikki, Yume 2kki, .Flow: For these guys, I say the only one the most human like is Urotsuki. They are all inhuman and pretty unstable, and they can steal your abilities and DNA with a touch. They also tend to break things. They all have quirks like Sabitsuki and everyone else from .Flow are glitchy like a computer glitch, Yume 2kki and Urotsuki are more actually dream like, and Madotsuki (not combined with the YN residents) is the most unstable and can unknowingly break reality. All of them don't speak without telepathy or sign language. If they speak without those things, they either hate you or like you. They can find people and prefer to exist in dreams.

Carrie: Some part of me wants Carrie to live, so I say she got out of the ground with her telepathy and left, getting better friends and a nice life.

Creepypasta: I'm just gonna talk about Lost Silver and Lazari. For Lost Silver, I like to think he'd make pranks sometimes and can make himself a kin to a jetpack my shooting blood from his missing limbs very fast. For Lazari I don't know what happened in "I Eat Pasta For Breakfast" (How fake of me, I know) but I do know everyone hates her, I think she'd learn how to act better and slowly get accepted again but still be a little awkward and cringe.

Of course, I didn't draw very well, because I'm very bad at drawing pixels, compared to Yume Nikki, but I like this job.

As I said, this is taken from the adventure "Those Who Were Left" and what would happen if the main character was the same captain.

I am a Yume Nikki fan now, so here is my take on whatever the fuck's going on with the monochrome sisters and Shittai-san

Okay so a few months before the game events, Madotsuki was sort-of-friends with a girl who was a year older than her (fifteen). This was Monoe's irl counterpart. She and her sister, Monoko's irl counterpart, were kind of outcasts because they were... incredibly weird and lowkey psychotic.

Monoko was a fan of gorey slasher flicks despite only being like ten, and spent a lot of time doodling and thinking about weird shit. Madotsuki had a soft spot for her because she could relate to that, just her thoughts and drawings weren't that gorey.

Monoe, on the other hand was lowkey a bitch and very passive aggressive. She had low empathy for other people, and true crime fascinated her. She was more squeamish than her sister though, and preferred psychological horror to slasher type stuff.

Anyway, Monoe and Matdotsuki became friends bc they were both outcasts.

So at some specific point the three girls were biking home from somewhere. It starts to rain heavily. Monoe doesn't want to put up with that shit, and so when she spots a random unlocked car pulled over at the side of the road she suggests they steal it.

Monoko was happy enough to do so (rain) but Madotsuki was hesitant to steal. Monoe just shrugged her off and told her she could just keep cycling in the rain, lol. She then jetted off with Monoko in the passenger seat.

They went slow enough due to the storm and the fact that Monoe didn't actually know how to drive, so Madotsuki wasn't that far behind them.

At some point they came across a traffic light. Seeing as it was green and Monoe was more focused on the music they had blasting on the radio, they didn't see the guy trying to dash across the road ahead of them.

They ran him over, pretty much killing him immediately. Rip guy, we hardly knew ye. Monoe stops the car, and she's more in awe that she just killed a man than anything else. Monoko is thrilled to finally see a dead body in real life.

Madotsuki catches up with them after a few minutes and is appalled. She gets into a huge argument with Monoe that ends with her yelling that she hopes they get their karma for stealing, killing and not caring.

She cycles off, and the sisters get back into the car. Now in a sadistic mood, Monoe decides to drive really fast at Madotsuki to scare her in revenge. Speeding up really quickly in a storm is a shitty idea though, so the tyres skid in the mud and the car crashes into a tunnel.

This accident causes heavy injury to Monoko: her bones jut out of her arms and shrapnel pierces holes in her stomach and face. Monoe doesn't get nearly as badly injured, but she ends up fully paralysed, her face now permanently stuck in that smug expression she had when planning to scare Madotsuki.

Speaking of Madotsuki, she fully witnessed the accident, having only been a little ahead of the car at the time.

She called an ambulance for them and the guy from earlier (she regretted not doing so earlier). She blames herself for her friends' deaths, seeing as she yelled at them about karma. This is one of the factors in her locking herself in her room.

okay but might i seriously suggest playing yume nikki/2kki to anyone who likes rpg horror, or undertale, or even the backrooms as a concept. anyone who likes concepts that can be so beautiful one moment to mildly/very unnerving the next.

if you had an rpg horror phase in middle school and heard about the toby fox interview (and got hyped like i did), i heavily suggest getting into yume 2kki (especially the online version, where you can hang out with other people in game) the maps are beautiful, strange, comforting, scary, confusing, and wacky. i love them, and it's so nostalgic. i got back into it again and i cant stop exploring. ive been playing for hours on end, it is practically endless. i just keep finding new things, new places i want to go to.

the npcs??? i am obsessed with each and every one of them

they're funky little guys created from the minds of so many different people, they're all wonderful

This is going to sound like an edgy teen posted it but I promise you I'm an adult woman who just spends too much time thinking in a bath tub

I think the reason we don't see Mado's body during the ending is because it got snagged on something during the fall

Maybe an electrical wire or a lower floor of the apartment building with a bigger balcony but I was playing on my laptop while in the bath and when I got to the ending I had this vivid image of Mado's body slumped over a telephone wire just out of frame. I might draw something about this idk
