Yuliy is rather subtle with his notions of love.  He’s not exactly the most emotional person there is, so rather than proclaim his adoration of you with grandiose vigor, he often expresses his love through actions.  He enjoys soft physical touch, especially things such as running a hand through your hair or attempting to style it like his, or holding your hand when he sense you feel nervous or uncomfortable.  If you need to let out all your emotions, he’s always there for you, and he gives the absolute best bear hugs that seem to raise a beacon of impenetrable light between the two of you and the trials and tribulations of life.  Although you often accompany him on his travels, he’ll still find time to sneak out and get you souvenirs, to the point of where a corner of your room is decked out with post cards, snowglobes, famous novels, gems, or works of art from nearly every destination imaginable.  He finds his thoughts always winding back to you, and almost always those thoughts bring a smile to his face, regardless of the situation.

Hey, I love your stuff! Could you write some hcs or something with Yuliy and Mikhail with a significant other with adhd?

I really hope you like this nonnie! A bit of a warning though, I am not here to romanticize ADHD or any other disorder. If I do… I sincerely apologize if I offend anyone. This is a serious subject and I don’t want to take it lightly. I figured I’d focus on one aspect of ADHD for each character, while also touching base on others briefly. This was all written from my own experience and the research I did on ADHD.

Mikhail: Poor Planning/Forgetfulness

He’ll often find you up late at night or early in the morning, working on something that you claimed had to be done because you forgot or time got away from you.

Sometimes he has to force you to go to bed or else he knows you won’t go to sleep on your own.

You get mad at him for it, but deep inside you know he’s just trying to look out for you.

Constantly getting distracted and forgetting things is a big part of your daily life, Mikhail tries to help by getting you a planner or by reminding you, mostly trying to help in small ways.

Sometimes he’ll leave you sticky notes around your house

Things like “Don’t forget your lunch” (that he probably made you), or “your keys are in the silverware drawer”, you know. Cute and helpful things like that.

Overall, I see him as being very patient and creative in having ways to help you cope.

Like if you feel like you feel you need medication and therapy? Great! He’ll go to appointments with you if you want him to.

If not? He’ll offer his help in any way he can

Yuliy: Hot Temper

I’m no psychologist, but I feel like Yuliy displays some signs of ADHD in the anime. He’s incredibly reckless and impulsive and gets himself into situations that could have been avoided if he had just slowed down and had help from others.

Specifically I wanted to focus on having a hot temper.

Which my older brother and little sister have actually. 

Anyway.

He tries not to get too upset if you ‘explode’ or if you get really upset.The smallest things can set you off, and he his best to calm you down afterwards.

Sometimes that means just giving you time to cool off and sometimes that means sitting you down to talk.

Combined with your inability to sit still for long periods of time or really focus, sometimes he’s at a loss.

Sparring together or working out like going for jogs help.

My brother and little sister like things like fidget cubes or stuff like that so they have something to do with their hands.

I see Yuliy constantly having something on him that you can fiddle with, say that sash he has tied around his waist or his coat or he’ll bring something that he knows you like messing with to help you stay focused.

A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex) 

He wants to make sure you are comfortable and that you don’t need anything, Yuily will gladly cuddle with you and fall asleep after you if you suddenly became tired after sex. A very caring baby boy. 

D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs) 

Yuily adores hickeys, you look so hot, especially with a few along your neck, he didn’t realise how strong his natural possessiveness was until he felt less on edge when you had a few marks on your skin around other people. He also loves your flushed cheeks when he leaves them on you, but he’s too shy afterwards to admit all of that.

G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)

He’s serious, he wants to make sure you are enjoying every bit of it also making sure you are comfortable. Yuily isn’t really the time of person that jokes, especially during sex. He would do sweet things to ease the tension but wouldn’t really be a goof.  

J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)

He doesn’t really masturbate because it’s a little embarassing but when he really needs you and you aren’t there because of a mission or something along those lines, he’ll go somewhere private like the room he is staying at or something and jack off.

M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)

When you are being all cute and shy, he can’t help but stare at you, Yuily knows you do that to catch his attention and when it gets to actual teasing… Oh boy he cannot get himself out of it when you tease him, that’s a major major turn on.

As I write the requests I have here, I have also been watching a new series. Dororo 2019 has stolen my heart, so ofc I’m writing a fic for it as well. Not only that, but I’ve also been writing something for Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger. Shameless self-promotion below.

Despite his wish to coexist with all races, it doesn’t mean Yuliy won’t kill vampires anymore. If they see themselves as superior species and display the want to harm and kill humans, clearly not interested in the peaceful coexistence he strives for, he will end them. However, he’s calmed down a lot more, giving them the chance to show if there’s a will to change for the better. Yuliy won’t recklessly jump into fights anymore if there’s no need to.

Mikhail & Yuliy + Morning routine after the canon (divergent)

★ Ever since Mikhail joined the jaegers and Professor Willard’s team, he and Yuliy have a habit of sharing a room. Either that or one will be found in the other’s room in the morning. So when Philip catches Yuliy emerging from Mikhail’s room with his older brother lagging behind him, he cannot help but ask if they sleep like married couples.

★ Yuliy has a morning routine. He wakes up, does his business, washes his face, brushes his teeth, fixes his hair, dons his clothes, and makes his bed. Today, Yuliy will do his morning routine as well… after he stops memorizing his brother’s serene face while he dozes off and tracing the scars decorating his face.

★ Mikhail notices that Yuliy is the one who always folds their sleep wears and make their bed in the morning.

★ Mikhail makes sure that Yuliy brushes his teeth thoroughly, even waiting for him by the door just so he does not skip cleaning his canines. 

★ Mikhail is not bothered by his growing locks. He likes it long and free behind his back. But, every good hair has their ups and downs. While his is impeccably soft and fluffy, the strands are also easy to get tangled. So, he enlists Yuliy to brush it off him.

★ When Yuliy is too sleepy, Mikhail brushes his hair instead.

★ Breakfast is always a hearty event, Mikhail learns the first time he joins the team. He eats the food for the sake of eating but he often sneaks pieces of his servings to Yuliy who is obviously sleepy and does not comment on Mikhail’s lack of chewing.

     In his Servamp verse, instead of hating the smell of blood due to associating it with Vampires, it’s solely because of his trauma has a child. He’ll often wear a face mask to try and combat the smell a little when it’s overwhelming, but it doesn’t always help.

Yuliy

He’s really protective of you but if you’re a good fighter he tries not to baby you too much. He knows you can look out for yourself. That doesn’t mean he isn’t always silently looking out for you too though.

He gets soft about you whether you can tell or not. When you get hurt, the first thing he tries to do is hold you, make sure you’re breathing because he can’t lose you too.

He prays that you won’t die, his soul won’t be able to bear it. 

If you’re comatose the fear that you won’t make it will eat at his heart if the doctors are unsure.

If your injuries are vampire related he gets really angry. His vengeance seeking personality is probably is the second of traits here.

If you can speak, you’ll try your best to calm him even though you’re bedridden for the moment.

Your voice brings him a sense of calmness but you’re precious to him. He won’t shake the idea of killing the creature that did it to you completely.

If he were there when it happened, he’d probably kill the vampire that touched you. No matter how strong an enemy, it seems that his emotions overcome him too much around the people he loves, especially you.

If you’re far from the nearest doctor he’ll carry you on his back and hush your cries by telling you it’ll be okay. He’s scared himself, and he doesn’t know for sure.

As for nursing you, he’s not entirely familiar with handling wounds since he’s always healing so quickly. But the boy would surely ask what he can do to help. Whatever you needed, he’d drop everything and do it for you.

He’s stuck at your beside, keeping you company even when you start recovering and tell him to go get fresh air.

“You don’t have to stay cooped up in here with me. It looks nice out.” You say.

“I’m not going anywhere.” He says, flipping a page in a book he’d brought for you.

You sigh at him, and he notices. “Unless you’re with me.” He adds, subtle hues of red on his cheeks. “So just focus on getting better.” 

Mikhail

Very different from his brother. He scolds you a lot if you’re not careful. No matter how many times you tell him you can take of yourself he doesn’t wanna hear it. 

If you can fight you end up convincing him so, and the one time he lets his guard down to let you fend for yourself you get hurt bad.

If you’re near death he blames himself immediately. He’s holding your wounded body and praying you’ll hold on. “I should’ve never let you go alone.” 

“I’ll be alright,” You say, “I’m pretty tough.”

“Look at you…Why can’t you just let me protect you?” You shake your head at him, and tell him it’s going to be okay.

“You’re so stubborn.” He’s tearing up now. 

He rushes to get help for you, and when you’re in the hospital he doesn’t ever leave your side unless it’s to get something for you.

If you’re comatose he’ll be the one always talking to you, telling you how strong you are and that you can pull through this.

He wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if you died. He’d have nothing left to protect.

If he’s away and finds out about it he drops everything and comes to take care of you. 

If you’re hurt because of a vampire he can’t help but feel like it’s his fault too.

He’s a little mad at you if you’re the one who got yourself hurt. He’s always going to remind you about it when you’re recovering.

He’ll kiss your hands a lot, which makes up for the scolding he does.

He won’t let you walk anywhere until the doctor says you can. He helps you do everything you can’t, all the way down to bathing if you’re comfortable with it. I’d like to think it brings the both of you closer.

He falls asleep with his head on the bed side and you tell him not to be so hard on himself. 

He mumbles a “But I have to…protect you,” in his sleep, and it makes you want to get stronger for his sake.

What about some random Yuliy and reader headcanons to start out? ❤️

- Yuliy probably wouldn’t initially understand the fluttering that occurred in his chest when he first saw you.  He knew it affected him, perhaps made him feel a bit happy, but couldn’t quite determine why, even as the sunlight streamed in over your hair on the train where you happened to be.  It was the first time he’d ever felt something real and tangible since leaving the Jaegers.

- It was up to you to initiate a conversation, and, while on yet another train, you happened to spot him again.  He had a face simply impossible to forget and eyes like the ocean under silver moonlight.  When lunchtime came around, you moved seats to be across from him after noticing he didn’t seem to have a meal and offered him half your sandwich.

- It took him a moment to respond, and when he did his voice was hoarse from lack of use.  He denied the offer but thanked you, tilting his head to the side and eyeing you carefully.  There wasn’t a sense of danger about you, but rather something he still couldn’t describe that made him just as alert.

- Over the next few months you two grew to become friends via both unprecedented and meticulously-made methods of catching the same trains at the same time at the same station.  He took an interest in your work - a traveling historian, set on solving an ancient riddle that had fascinated you since childhood, it was inevitable to lead you down many twists and turns.  He offered his assistance one day, which you gladly accepted.

- Throughout your travails you only grew closer, and it was when you two set up for a couple nights of an unforeseen snowstorm in a natural cavern that had bored its way deeply within snowy mountaintops.  As you were setting up the bedding, hanging towels over the entrance to prevent drafts, and decorating the room to your liking, it began to take Yuliy back to his childhood comforts, and perhaps for the first time since childhood he felt as though he was at home - not a house but rather a place where his heart lay, and it was then that he realized the mystery feeling wasn’t a mystery feeling anymore, it was love.

- In a twist of fate it would actually be you who confronted your feelings first, by accidentally saying “I love you” as you two switched guarding positions in a dangerous area of a decaying city famed for robbers and kidnappers.  He did a double-take, but wound up grabbing your hand and murmuring to your back, “I love you, too.”

- Yuliy’s typically quite passive in the relationship, but admonishes you quickly if you put yourself at risk, even if it is to protect him (though he fails to see the hypocrisy, as he does exactly the same, if not on a broader scale). 

- It’s the small actions that make him happy.  He loves the feeling of your fingers combing through his hair, allowing you to style it whichever way you like, even enduring a day of pigtails just to see the grin plastered across you face and hear your lyrical laughter.  

- He doesn’t quite do the same, with the occasional arm around you shoulder being about the only small thing he’ll do.  He often finds himself going in for kisses, especially on the lips, and refuses to let go more times than not.  He’s quite protective with you, but keeps it bottled within himself - he knows you’re capable of handling yourself - and thus converts it into passion for the moments of darkness or simply silent content.

Even before the words finished leaving his mouth, it was clear to Willard that they would fall on deaf ears; he hadn’t been able to see Yuliy’s eyes before he’d run off, but he knew he’d have seen the blue glow of the beast if he had.  He wasn’t really sure if it was because Yuliy’s family had all died before he could be properly taught to control his power, or if it was just a Sirius trait, but when the blood of the beast was flowing through him it was almost impossible to get him to listen or stop whatever he had his mind set on doing. 

Not that it was easy to get him to listen normally, so long as vampires were involved.

It was somewhat fascinating really, how Yuliy’s personality would change so quickly once vampires entered the equation. Most of the time he was calm and quiet, he wasn’t overly social, but he’d do what he was asked to and sometimes even go out of his way to help others do their jobs; as soon as a vampire appeared though, everything would change.  He’d still go along with whatever plan they group had concocted, but if he felt things were moving too slowly or some unknown element showed up, he’d take off on his own without a word of warning.  

It was a frustrating habit of his, and a dangerous one for both Yuliy himself and the rest of the Jaegers, but Willard would be lying if said he didn’t get the reason for it.  Yuliy was seventeen now, almost a grown man, but he’d been just a child when the vampires had taken away everything that’d he’d known and loved.

It wasn’t something Willard could claim to understand fully, not having ever personally experienced himself, and since he hadn’t known Yulily prior to it, nor did the boy tend to talk about what his life had been like back in his village, he had no way of knowing if he’d always been a quiet child or if he’d once been a cheerful and boisterous kid; but he knew without a doubt that the loss of his home and family had changed Yuliy.

“If it means I’ll meet mom and Nii-san, I want to die.”

He can still remember the words that Yuliy had spoken that day on the train, they were words that were terrible to hear spoken by anyone, but hearing them from a young child made it even worse.  There was an emptiness in his heart from the loss he’d suffered, and in the end, Yuliy had filled that emptiness with anger towards the creatures who’d taken everything away from him.  It had given him a purpose and helped him find the strength to continue on, but that didn’t stop the feeling of sadness that welled up inside of Willard whenever he thought about it, nor did it stop him from blaming himself for it.

He hadn’t been prepared or expecting to suddenly be taking care of a child, let alone one that had just suffered a huge tragedy, and while he’d tried his best, he couldn’t help but wonder if he could have helped Yuliy find something different to fill the hole in his heart with.  And yet at the same time, there was a small guilty part of him of him that was glad he hadn’t, because despite all his issues, Yuliy was a valuable asset to the Jaegers, and without that anger, he might not be as strong a fighter.

Of course, Willard mused, his eyes following Yuliy as he raced up the side of the bridge, without that anger, Yuliy might also not be quite so reckless, and wouldn’t that take a load of stress off of his mind.  It’s one of the things that worried him most about the teen, the way he’d throw himself into danger without a second thought for his own well being; he’d been scolded for it plenty of times and he was always apologetic afterwards, but it never stopped him from continuing to do it.

It’s happened enough that sometimes he wonders if there’s something to Philip’s occasional sardonic quips about Yuliy being a suicidal maniac, he doesn’t think that Yuliy is trying to get himself killed or anything, but it does worry him that maybe Yuliy doesn’t really care about whether he lives or dies.  He can’t say for certain whether he’s right about that or not, but one thing he does know is that he truly does worry that Yuliy’s recklessness is going to get him killed one day.

It’s almost in perfect sync with that thought, that a shot rang out in the air and he found himself watching as a spurt of blood sprayed out of Yuliy’s body, and he began to fall.

“Yuliy!”

For a moment, time seemed to freeze, and he could only stare in horror as the boy he’d raised for the past ten years plummeted into the water below.  The splash as his body hit the water was enough to shake everyone out of their stupor, and they quickly jumped into action, Philip glancing around in search of the sniper while Fallon and Dorothea rushed to edge of the bridge to peer into the water below.

“Where is he?”

“The flows too strong. Somebody bring a light.”  Without a word, Willard grabbed a lantern from the car and joined the two of them in staring at the water below.

“I still don’t see him.” Fallon commented, leaning over the side as far as he could without falling, “You think he got swept further downstream?”  

Willard frowned slightly but was interrupted before he could reply

“You find him yet?” Philip questioned, having chosen that moment to join the rest of them.  Though his tone was casual, Willard could tell from his body language that even though he didn’t particularly like Yuliy, he was still somewhat worried. That was just part of being a Jaeger, whether or not you got along with your teammates, they were still your teammates and so you cared for and protected each other.

“Not yet, but it’s likely he’d have drifted downstream anyway.” He tried to keep the worry out of his voice as he spoke, though he wasn’t sure if he’d succeeded. As a Sirius, Yuily was hardier than a normal human, but that didn’t make him invincible, the combination of his injury and an extended time in cold water could very well kill him if he wasn't found.  “Whoever fired that shot may still be around, it would not be wise to linger too long.  We’ll continue our search further down the river.”

They’d just have to hope Yuliy would hold out until they found him, and if they didn’t….. Well, he’d prefer to avoid thinking about that.

“Let’s go.”

Flowers.

This boy loves flowers.

And he loves you.

So he gives you flowers.

Not bouquets, just wildflowers he found on the side of the road or maybe one he picked from someone’s garden.

“Yuliy you can’t just go picking flowers from people’s gardens!”

“Why?”

“That’s their property!!”

A relationship is hard at first.

Like Dorothea said “he doesn’t know the difference between love and pain” (I’m paraphrasing)

So it’s a lot of firsts and slow going and probably a few arguments sprinkled in between.

But once he gets comfortable; this boy loves you.

Also bundling up together when it’s cold, you cannot change my mind.

If you’re cold he tries to give you his coat but you make him put it back on because boy cannot handle the cold he is literally shivering and sneezing put the damn coat back on.

Kisses!

You have to initiate most kisses, because poor boy is clueless and awkward.

But he loves giving little kisses like on the forehead or cheek like he’s reassuring himself you’re still there.

But only in private.

In public he likes holding your pinky, or hand if you can really convince him.

Philip, Fallon, and Dorothea like to tease you two.

You’ll argue back but Yuliy just watches with a smile and dammit Yuliy you’re not helping

Willard just watches you all with a fond smile because young love is so adorable.

He loves it when you play with his hair

But running your fingers through his hair is a one way ticket to having a happy and sleepy Jaeger boy in your lap.

He is no longer a man, he is a puddle.

He’s not even ashamed of it either.

If you’re in a moving vehicle for more than twenty minutes he will find a way for you to play with his hair.

If you were a fellow Jaeger, he would be like a cat. He tries to pretend that he doesn’t care that you’re putting your life at risk 24/7, but this boy cares for you a lot and stop giving him a heart attack please.

Heavens have mercy on anyone who hurts you while on a mission.

Vampires? Dead in 2 seconds.

People? Team Jaeger really have to hold him back and really talk him out of killing them.

He knows you can handle yourself; he really does, but sometimes you have to reassure him that you’re okay even if it’s something small.

Overall, he comes off as awkward and kind of bumbling at times. But this boy would do anything for you and loves you to the end of the earth.

A/N: This is more like him realising his feelings then trying to catch your attention and how you got together tbh, but hope you like it!

It took him forever to even realised he had feelings for you.

Mikhail was the one that helped him realise his feelings.

He would always be a little shy around you.

More quiet than usual around you as well.

But fully interested in your topics of discussion.

He didn’t realise how he always had a small smile on his face and slightly pink cheeks.

Yuily would also keep an eye on you and wouldn’t really understand when he would get angry when you talk at a man that’s close to your age, especially Mikhail.

But he ignored what he was feeling, maybe it was the mission that was making him act weird? Or he was tired? He didn’t really know nor did he dwell upon it.

He had better things to think about.

Like you.

Mikhail was the one to notice his little brother’s interest in you and he purposely tried to make him jealous after he confronted Yuily and denied any claim he would be thrown regarding you.

So the older brother had to demonstrate his claims with proof.

“Hey (Y/N),” Mikhail’s arm would swing around your shoulders and pull you in his side, “how are you doing?”

Mikhail couldn’t help but smirk as Yuily frowned more and more.

You didn’t really understand what he was doing because he disappeared as quickly as he appeared.

“See little brother?” Mikhail could not conceal his smirk as he watched his brother grumble under his breath, knowing he must be right.

“Sooo, what are you going to do about it, huh?”

Mikhail’s grin falling immediately when Yuily says “nothing”.

“Seriously? You like her, ask her out or I’ll embarrass you,”

Yuily knows his older brother will do just that but he doesn’t want to ruin your friendship.

If he could even call it that, ever since his brother helped him sort out his emotions, he sort of started distancing himself because he didn’t know how to deal with it.

After much frustration, Mikhail decided to help his brother -- only to find his feet though, he needed to learn.

And be teased, like every brother would around his crush.

Mikhail would embarrass him in front of you to try and get you to notice him.

Does it work?

Lol, nope!

So Yuily just tries to get close again.

You were nice enough to start from a clean slate.

And immediately hit it off.

It was so fun between the two of you, he loved you even more but now he was even less inclined to ask you out because he loved what you two had together.

But thankfully, you felt the same way about Yuily and approached his brother for advice for obvious reasons.

Mikhail would know exactly what Yuily likes and maybe if he likes you back.

Thankfully for you, Mikhail was already pretty frustrated with Yuily for still not having done anything.

“He likes you as well, just kiss the pour soul.”

And blushing instantly when he says that as he shoos you away.

You took a while to make your move.

And Mikhail actually thought you were going to act like Yuily and never do anything about it either.

But one night, you got upset as something someone said and you ran into the garden when the moon was out.

And you stayed there a while because it was so beautiful to look at.

Yuily didn’t hesitate to follow you out.

He sat right next to you, close and everything.

Mikhail’s ship finally sailed.

Yuily was really good at comforting you and when you felt better, you turned to him and distinguished his pink stained cheeks.

Fortunately, he didn’t dare move and you slightly grasped both his cheeks and lowered his face closer to yours.

He let you take the lead, slowly closing his eyes as you captured his lips in yours.

His arms slowly etched up to your hips and around your waist, pulling you closer into his chest.

You were sure you heard Mikhail make a small cheer in the house.

Your fingers ran through his hair as you both pulled yourself closer to deepen the kiss.

And when you pulled away, you were both blushing messes.

“That was uh,” moving away from him a little.

It was his turn to make his move and he pulled you pack into his side, kissing your temple.

That how it aaaall started.
