I do wish Demon Girl Next Door had taken just a couple moments more when Shamiko came back from her memories and told Momo about Sakura and how her core is inside her, keeping her alive and healthy and she can't come out until Shamiko is powerful enough to manage her curse on her own, where when Shamiko still tried to get her core out to make Momo happy, for Momo to freak out about that a bit more, because it could KILL Shamiko if not make her incredibly sick and frail again and giving us just a couple seconds of Momo being like "That is literally the worst possible thing you could do because I would be absolutely devastated by it" would have been nice and accurate to her feelings while also giving Shamiko a chance to point out that she knew the dangers but still tried to do it for Momo's happiness anyway (because they both clearly love each other and just won't admit it)

One thing I've observed about a lot of character polls on Tumblr is that the characters listed aren't really connected by genre or demographic of audience for the media they're from or anything, but more by seemingly nothing other than the likely fact that whoever made the poll happened to be someone who knows and likes both of these characters.

Oftentimes, unless the poll was specifically oriented around a certain theme or topic (like "best yuri protagonists" for instance), odds are, the person who made the poll is one of a relatively small group of people that makes up the overlap between these two fandoms. So, that doesn't leave "a bunch of people who vote on which of the two characters they like more," but rather four groups

Group A (smallest group): people who are familiar with both media sources and know both characters

Group B: People who know one of the characters but have never heard of or know very little about the other character

Group C: Same as group B, but other character

Group D (biggest group): People who do not know either character and thus do not vote (unless they fat fingered their phone touchscreen)

Group A will be the only ones actually voting for the character they like more. Group B and C, however, will not vote for the character they like more, but rather for the character they know. They don't know who the other character is, and they're not gonna do their homework for a tumblr poll, so why would they do anything else?

So, the end result of these polls is oftentimes not a measure of which character is more liked, but rather, which character's fandom is bigger.

Chapter 1

Yuko's Mom seems to have experience with horns given how she easily grabs Yuko's. Likely had experience thanks to her dad.

The second thing is the bureau of darkness early stuff. Personally I think this is early installment weirdness due to how it is closed and considering how Joshua likely played an important role in it. And also how it didn't show up again for a long while. I don't think the mom would have zero knowledge of what's happening there.

It's actually really funny to me that Shamiko's mom is shorter than Momo, because we know from the picture of her and Joshua that Seiko is actually taller than Joshua so Shamiko has pretty much no hope whatsoever of ever being taller than Momo
