HEYYYYYYY omg I love your OC so much :,,)) SO hope you're doing well first off but I wanted to request Yukime and Genya (best bbys) and how Yukime reacted when she found out Genya had demon powers and the aftermath!! Thank you and take all the time you need!!

Yukime Yamashiro finding out Genya Shinazugawa has demon powers

(AJDNJDJD TYSM FOR REQUESTING MY BABES!! AND HERE'S A LIL DOODLE I DREW OF THEM!!)

As I said before, she found out during the Swordsmith Village Arc, while fighting Hantengu

Genya was screaming at Tanjiro how he's gonna kill the Moon and become a pillar

Yukime overheard him and, because she was already wired from the battle, started yelling at Genya how SHE'S gonna be the one to defeat the Moon!

They kept bickering until Tanjiro scolded them and told them they need to work as a team

Yukime realised how strong Genya actually is after he threw a tree during the battle

They didn't talk much while recovering at first, until Yuki suddenly approached him and Tanjiro while they were sitting at a table and talking

She stood at the table menacingly, a dark look in her eyes

She asked Tanjiro to leave the room

He went in to try an calm her down, before he caught a whiff of something and realised what was going on

Then, he just smiled a bit and left the room while saying bye to Genya, who looked after him, betrayed

Now, Genya was stuck alone in a room, with a supposedly pissed of cute, 160 cm g i r l

While he was weighing his options of escape, Yuki SLAMMED her palms against the table

Yukime was silent for a moments, before she whipped her head up

She had stars in her eyes and a mischievous smile on her lips

She leaned on her hands, close to Genya's face and started bombarding him with questions about his powers

Genya was dumbfounded, and before he could say anything she got out of his face and said "AND THEN YOU WERE LIKE "HYAAAAAH"" while mimicing how he threw the tree and kept blabbering how cool it was

When Genya was finally able to get a word out, he muttered a meek "Please, slow down...", his hands making a "stop" motion

Then, Yukime suddenly stopped, her eyes widening and  a small blush forming on her cheeks

She straightened out and rubbed the back of her neck, looking to the side and awkwardly smiling while saying "Ah, sorry, sorry, I got a lil' excited! Haha!"

But, she quickly bounced back, a dazzling smile replacing her awkward one, and she extended her hand to Genya, introducing herself as "Yukime Yamashiro, a member of the Snow Breath family and user of the Snow Breath, the next snow pillar! But you can call me Yuki!"

Genya hesitantly takes her hand and introduces himself

Yuki then sits down on the chair Tanjiro was using and repeats her questions, only this time slower and patiently waiting for the cherry-faced boy to answer

19. If they weren’t a Demon Slayer, what would they be?

Yukime

She'd be a traveller! She kinda already travells in her story, but that's more for her self discovery. If she wasn't a slayer, she'd do it to meet new people and dicover cultures as well as just enjoy life!

Saiichi

I feel like he'd be a tailor! It's something that he can do from home. And it's a profession in which you need nimble and deliate hands as well as an eye for detail. So I feel like he'd be very popular for making intricate kimonos!

 20. It’s time for a Taisho secret!

Yukime

Her temperature is actually higher than the average snow breath user! It's around 36°C, while the average is around 34-35°C. She still has cold hands all the time though.

Saiichi

He had long hair a while ago! But he cut it around the time he joined the Demon Slayer Corps, to appear more mature and since it was kind of an inconvenience.

7. What is the color of their Nichirin Blade?

Pure white! to symbolise her lack of goals and wishes for the future except for becoming a pillar and how she's a blank slate Haha, what?

11. Do they acknowledge Tanjiro’s demon sister, Nezuko working along side with the Demon Slayers?

When she first finds out about Nezuko, she immediately draws out her blade and goes for the kill. After Tanjiro actually calms her down and explains the situation, she's still skeptical, but with time, she starts to cherish Nezuko as her friend.

 16. How did their Final Selection go?

Usually, you'd be scared to go into a maze filled with bloodthirsty monsters, but not Yukime. She was so excited, she was shaking and smiling, even bouncing on her feet. Other candidates thought she was insane- She already heard of the Hand Demon from Saiichi, and was ready to find it and kill it even though she promised him she'd stay away. Sadly, no matter how much she searched, she couldn't find it. She was getting more and more frustrated and saving people turned from saving people for the sake of being a good person to saving them to ask them for info and to get more bragging rights. She was one of the first to find a way off the mountain, but she purposefully stayed longer, only leaving a little before the time limit was over so that she could avoid other slayers.

If I had to describe Yukime in one sentence it would be:

Angry small child that owns 1/4 of a braincell and thinks anyone that can punch people in the face is cool

5.  Why did they join the Demon Slayer Corps?

Well, she joined to bring back her family’s reputation, and make people change their opinion of the Snow Breath being a coward’s breath.

18. Have they faced an Upper/Lower Moon demon?

Yes! She faced Hantengu in the Swordsmith Village Arc!

17. What is their Kusagai Crow's name?

With the help of @hydrangea-imagines, I decided the name of Yuki's crow is Shushei!

Shushei is very polite and mild mannered. Yuki coddles her and treats her as if she were her child. Gives her treats all the time! Basically, their relationship is the embodiment of the samurai holding a cat meme or "don't talk to me or my son ever again" meme.

6. Who trained them?

At first, Yuki trained herself, since Saiichi refused to do so. She looked at the scrolls that explained the snow breathing and copied Saiichi's movements while he was training, but when he looked at her, it seemed like she wasn't doing anything. Of course, Saiichi suspected she was training on her own, but brushed it off and hoped it was just a phase. Things really escelated when Yuki decided to go into an icy cave by herself to strenghten her breathing. After hours of searching, Saiichi found her passed out, barely breathing. Frost was creeping around her mouth and nose, blood gushing out. Yuki woke up in her futon and descended into a coughing fit. Saiichi heard her and went to her aid. After her coughing calmed down, Saiichi started crying, gripping Yukime's shoulders and *begging* her not to do anything like this again. Yukime, in a raspy voice, apologised but said she couldn't promise him that. That she'd do anything to be demon slayer. Saiichi stared at her, realising she's serious about being a slayer, and sighed, telling her he'd train her if she promised not to do something like this again. Yukime couldn't believe her brother finally agreed to train her. She threw her arms around him and promised him. Saiichi hugged her back. She asked when they were going to start and Saiichi replied scoldingly, when she recovers and when she's not grounded anymore. Yuki was in disbelief and kept whining that „it's not fair“. Saiichi just exited the room to get more hot water, telling his sister not to overuse her voice while her throat and lungs are hurt. But later, he smiled to himself, happy his sister is okay, trying not to think too much of the future.

 13. Among the Pillars, who would they get along with best? Worst?

She gets along with Mitsuri the best! Saiichi introduced Yuki to Mitsuri while Yuki was still a young lad, and Mitsuri though she was adorable. Yuki was a bit annoyed at first, but warmed up to the Love Pillar quickly. Now she's like Yukime's big sis!

She gets along with Sanemi the worst. She hates the way he treats her brother and isn't afraid to argue with him. The only Pillar she doesn't respect.
