Do you know how funny it is that Sukuna is literally suffering from Gojo brainrot?
Tumblr media
This may be an illustration of Gojo's brain damage from forcefully resetting his cursed technique, but since Sukuna is copying him (pose included), this is what his brain looks like too.

Hello, can I ask from this ask game :
https://www.tumblr.com/threecheersforinking/677824836625694720/anime-ask-game?source=share
For these series : JJK, TMNT, and Link Click ?
Thanks ๐ŸŒป
(my post got wiped and I cry)
Thank you for the ask! I'll answer in order... although note that I have suuuchhh a hard time picking favorites for things/shows I like, but I shall try my best!
Jujutsu Kaisen
Tumblr media
Favorite Character: Itadori yuji. One of the best written protagonists of all time. I love how he takes the 'wants to save everyone' trope and gives it the underlying reasoning of the avoidance of regret and grief, and the desire to not die alone because so far he has been alone (for whatever reason, I see it as because he was 'too nice' and would beat up the 'popular bullies'. Hence why he called himself a loner and hence why he became so attached to Nobara and Fushiguro despite the little time he's known them.) Also how this underlying narrative is tested and builds more nuance and flaws as the series goes on... overall Yuji's arc up until the Shibuya incident is very well done. (I have... mixed feelings post Shibuya and honestly would need to reread that whole arc)
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: Honestly.... the cursed womb arc. I know, I know, there's the hidden inventory and the shibuya incident and Maki's massacre of her family and the Gojo vs Sukuna fight... but hear me out. My favorite parts of storytelling are theme exploration, and I think this arc does it for Yuji's underlying motivations to save everyone. This arc builds nuance to this part of Yuji's character, contrasting his ideals with Fushiguro's logic: 'what if someone you save hurts other people in the future'. How Yuji then takes this upon himself, how the narrative says that perhaps the better option would've been to kill Yuji in the first chapter, how Fushiguro denies this and it gives Yuji hope for himself, has always given him hope, and always will. (So he has to save Megumi. I'm willing it into existence. Gege make it happen.)
Character I Think is Underrated: Yuji. Yuta. Maki. Mai. Mechamaru. Miwa. Shoko. Nobara. Fushiguro. ... most JJK characters honestly. There are a few characters that get the most attention from the fandom (they know who), and while they are AMAZING characters who DESERVE the attention they get... so does everyone else. Yuji is one of the most amazinggg protagonists I've ever seeeen and yet he gets little to no analysis and I got burnt out just before I could make a full analysis about him so yea I'm a hypocrite when I say this. But still. More attention to the rest of the cast please. Thank you <3
Character I Think is Overrated: I KNOW HE"S WELL WRITTEN AND A REALLY NUANCED AND INTERESTING CHARACTER WHO EMBODIES THE THEMES BUT.... Gojo Satoru, the fandom treats you as the best character in the animanga despite you're very character being about the desire to be treated as an individual like everyone else. And to be clear, I'm not saying that we should love Gojo less, far from it, I'm saying we should love the other characters more.
Favorite Ship/Pairing: (Note that I prefer dynamics to shipping although I do like shipping. I also tend to love shipping queer platonically and rave about dynamics and interactions) A tie between Satosugu and Itafushi (they parallel each other so how could I not love both of their dynamics?).. although I'm quite fond of Itadori x Junpei. They could've been the 'movie nerd duo' and they would've had the best moral parallels, especially when you consider Mahito and how they were treated (one was bullied and the other tries to fight against bullies) and how they see grief and kaljfalksdfklasdjf it would've been wonderous. I also think Yuta and Yuji are an underutilized dynamic (not shipping them). I would've loved to see more interactions and comparisons between them. IT WOULD"VE BEEN SOOO COOL I WOULD"VE BEEN OBSESSSED.
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: Each character has such nuance and embodies a section of the themes about Jujutsu society and how that effects the morals of an individual, and each character is nuanced and honestly the recent arcs do not fall short because of the characters, but because of the underutilization and pacing more so. Quite sad but when Jujutsu Kaisen shines it SHINES.
... I feel like these were supposed to be one sentence answers but it's fine... ONE DOWN TWO TO GO!
Tmnt (I've only seen Rottmnt so we're doing that one)
Tumblr media
Favorite Character: DONATELLO (with a book in hand, saves the day and proves to everyone that he's the ma-). Okay but seriously he's portrayed as a character that cares in his own way in a POSITIVE LIGHT. Soooo many other shows would've taken his basic character and showcased it as selfish but Donnie is far from that. He likes his alone time and has a creative and analytical mind and interprets the world through his creations and interests and that is A GOOD THING THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE TO CHANGE. As a fellow creative an analytical mind that interprets the world through my interests and has been told I'm selfish and self-obsessed, Donnie means so much to me. (Yes, he's my #1 kin)
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: kjalfkljasdkfj OKAY OKAY.... I forget the name of it but the episode where Splinter takes Donnie's turtle tank to the demolition derby. I know I had another favorite episode(s) when I was in full hyperfixation, but to be honest it's been a while. My favorite episodes are the Donnie-centric ones (obviously), especially when he's with Mikey because that duo is โœจpeakโœจ. But for the demolition derby episode, I think it provides a great view into Splinter's psyche as chasing the high of his prime, along with Donnie's desire for his dad to be proud of him. (I kin, I kin, I kin so much.) Also Mikey being the level-headed one in this situation. Absolute peak.
Character I Think is Underrated: Raph for sure. He's the sweetest older brother ever with just as much character nuance as the other three, and yet he gets the least amount of attention from the fandom as far as I've seen. (Again I'm a hypocrite for saying this but I do think Raph deserves more love.) Also April.. Casey... GAhhhhh I wish Rise got a season threeeee it would've been wonderous.
Character I Think is Overrated: I don't think any of the characters are necessarily overrated. I don't understand why everyone loves the disaster twins so much. (I feel like you could make them more 'disaster' if you have them bicker and cause issues rather than all of the 'they are each other's favorite person' that the fandom does. HOWEVER, I love the fandom interpretations of them, and overall, I love the rottmnt fandom a LOT, best fanfics and fanart and fancomics everrr)
Favorite Ship/Pairing: (not shipping/no tcest) Donnie and Mikey for sureee. It's the perfect combination of overdramatic mad scientist /aff with silly crazy-powerful artist /aff. What's not to love? Also the way that they contrast with each other, opposites yet similar, it's wonderous.
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: It's what got me into loving slice-of-life/episodic narratives, and what got me to release my 'every story needs to have only important scenes with conflict' mindset when it comes to storytelling. Rottmnt is mainly the brothers hanging out with each other and going on the odd adventure and it's wonderous. It's amazing storytelling because it differs from the predecessor's saving the world. It's silly and jovial and feels like siblings having fun with each other. AND YES I have three other siblings and we've been socially isolated for the longest time because of multiple mowings (pre-covid) and covid (made it no better) and our family in general being undiagnosed neurodivergent introverts and rottmnt means a loooot to me for what it is and what it offered to me. I was in one of the longest spirals of my life at the time and rottmnt brought back color to my monochromatic life and IT SHOULD GET A SEASON THREE BRING BACK RISE KAJFLSKDJFKLd
ANd yet again.. Noorie has rambled. Noorie will ramble again, here we go:
Link Click
Tumblr media
(I started scrolling on the link click gifs and the musical is sooo cuttee i love all their interactions akfaskldfj)
Also note this is my most recent hyperfixation and it usually takes me about a month or two to have the most fleshed out thoughts but I shall try!
Favorite Character: You. can't. do. this. to. me. /pos KLJDKLFJSDKLJFKLDJF HOWWW DO I DECIDEEEEE NOO. KAS FAHHSHF. Okie okie er... Cheng Xiaoshi. I still have to dissect and analyze him but he's just SUCH a good character. The way his backstory is revealed bit by bit until the end of season one where we get his full flashback scene is sooo interestingg and effectiveee AAA- Plus the way he's overwhelmed with emotions easily, how easily he trusts others, even more than he trusts himself, how he seems to be 'just a little silly', and he is silly, but when given time to process his thoughts and emotions, he is quite strategic and effective at adapting his plans to the situation. (Which is especially interesting in how that contrasts Lu Guang's need to have control over everything, the general inflexibility of his plans). Also how Cheng Xiaoshi teases Lu Guang and how much he loves and clings to those he loves. How much he wishes for his parents to return and how much hope he has that he can save everyone/bring everyone together and keep them from leaving him again. THERE'S SO MANY LAYYERRRS I NEED TO DECIPHER THEM ALLL
Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: howwww dooo I deciddeee it's alll dooonee sooo weelll. Nott a singgllllee baddd orrr borrinngg eppiisoddeee I sobbbbb I can't pick a favoritteeee. ... OKay this might be because I just finished watching episode five, but that whole arc (episodes 3-5) is done so well and starts off with a silly basketball game that gives more information on Lu Guang and CHeng Xiaoshi's relationship and slowly builds to the earthquake and the most devastating backstory to present day scenes I've ever seen for a character. From a storytelling perspective Link Click is just so well done all around and this arc exemplifies that. I also loveee any moments of Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao LIng being siblings. Also, QIao Ling slapping Qian Jin and just season twooo is crazzzyyyyy. I can't pick on whether I love season two or season one more despite them having two different narrative structures... I just remember season one more because it's episodic and I have it downloaded on my computer. (It was on internet archive... and it would be NICE if season two was on there toooo)
Character I Think is Underrated: Honestly, all characters are given lots of love and attention for the amount of screentime they get. Qiao Ling could always use more love though. Qiao Ling supremacy.
Character I Think is Overrated: None really. The fandom is really nice and really good at art and writing and the ANALYSIS HOLY HERBS *sparkle eyes*. It's all wonderous and I love Link Click soooo muuuuchhhh
Favorite Ship/Pairing: Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang are literally queer platonic partners in cannon. /half joking but for real the act like queer platonic partners. With all the making noodles and dumplings for each other and the constant reassurances and canonical cuddling (they held hands in season two aklfjasdklf) plus how much they canonically care for each other. I rambled about that on another ask but they have constant shows of affection and how much they tease each other and they are probably my favorite pairing everrr. ALSO Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling as siblings (not shipped) are peak fiction. They have the most bickering yet reassuring dynamic ever. Part of the reason why I like that season two has less dives is that it gives QIao Ling more screen time and really makes her part of the trio. The backstory with them both means everything to me. It's so sweet and saddd I sobbb.
Something I Love About the Show/Movie: Literally what's not to love? APPARENTLY THERE'S A GAZILLION AND ONE MEDIUMS, NOT JUST THE SHOW and they're all amazing??? I want the adaptation of the donghua into the manhua sooo baddd. The pacing is done to perfection, never once was I bored. The 20-minute episodes felt like five minutes while still covering so much ground and giving each character the time they deserve to develop them (although Lu Guang... where's the backstory..../pos /j). It perfectly balances humor and silly interactions between the characters with ripping your heart out and making you ugly cry. THe cliffhangers are never annoying and the SOUNDTRACK. THE FRICKING SOUNDTRACK IS WONDEROUS I SANG VORTEX ON REPEAT TO CALM MYSELF FROM PANICING AT MY STATS AP EXAM. The animation is sooo cozy and well done and I want to live in their shop and use my non-existent money to buy as much Link Click things as possible.
Annnddd THat's it! Thank you for the ask! If you've read all the way up to here... I commend you. That's a feat in and of itself.

Do you think Megumi will come back? Do you think Itadori will sacrifice himself at the end of the work? Do you think we will get the story of sukuna's past?
Tumblr media
Imma keep it a buck, anon. My thoughts have definitely changed since I initially thought about how everything would end. I have some ideas? But at the same time, some of my ideas hinge on the fact that Gege Akutami is a troll. A dirty, dirty troll who lies.
If you want my crackpot theories, expect some rapid fire thoughts below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ
โš ๏ธ Spoiler Warning through JJK Chapter 247.
Here are my updated theories based on where we are in the story now but keeping in mind Gege's previous statement that, out of Gojo and the first years, either one will die or only one will survive.
ONE SURVIVOR
Yuji Itadori - I have some thoughts about Yuji in particular that I'm sure I'll find time to jot down this weekend but the way Sukuna keeps dismissing him... I think that's foolhardy and a bit of a red herring.
I think Nobara is still alive. She'll resurface and, together, she, Yuji and the gang will take on Sukuna!Megumi. Nobara's resonance would be helpful to use upon any fingers that haven't been consumed to attack remotely. Especially if buffed by Utahime and, let's be for real. I'm not convinced we've seen the last of Gojo (or Toji, for that matter) and it'll take the unification of everyone to take Sukuna out before he assumes his final form, as it were. Plus, this would close out Gojo's character arc properly. Revived and enlightened but no longer alone. He may no longer be the strongest which is why Gege keeps propping up characters like Higurama, for instance, as likened to Gojo. But he'll see the fruits of the world he fought for. Yuji will live burdened by everything he lost.
Otherwise, I think Gojo will live if only so Gege can cause even more torture to the man and anguish to us. Can't enjoy the afterlife with Suguru, loses Megumi and Tsumiki which is cruel and unusual, and loses the legacy of the world he was hoping to forge by saving people like Yuta and Yuji. To kill off Yuji out of everyone would be so atypical of most literary formulas but... the dark trio aren't exactly known for following any sort of script.
ONE MARTYR
Megumi Fushiguro - It's been hinted to us since the first episode hasn't it? Always a minor inconvenience away from summoning mutually assured destruction, even before we knew what the hand signal meant. Gege has a way of planting those details, don't they? Moreover, when picking up Nobara, Gojo sends Yuji and Nobara in after a curse to test out just how crazy they were...
Contrary to what I just said about Megumi constantly trying to die to win, what assessment had Gojo already made about Megumi? Megumi definitely broke bad against that special grade curse when they were working Tsumiki's case but, before that, did Gojo wonder if he had what it took despite having Ten Shadows? Someone made a post here a long time ago about how it takes crazy to survive in jujutsu society, hence the need to test the first years, but Megumi was always the sane one in the insane asylum. He's the Straight Man to Yuji and Nobara's chaos and comedy. He was there because he had to be, having been bought and sold into indentured servitude.
Again, it'll take everyone to take out Sukuna but, what's left of his soul after everything Megumi endures? He'd be the ultimate casualty. Still a knife in Gojo's heart (which I think is, like, a special bonus for Gege) and would also shift the paradigm of the SatoSugu dynamic wherein the born prodigy of ItaFushi is lost. Truthfully, I think Yuji is a prodigy, as well, so that kind of complicates the comparison? To have some semblance of a resolution though, I think it would have to be Yuji or Megumi who dies, ultimately. Especially since these were the two whose fate Gege wasn't certain about. As SatoSugu 2.0, I think, if the series were to go total darkness, then it would make sense that ItaFushi didn't escape the same fate as SatoSugu. Even if we typically see the MCโ€™s right the wrongs of their forebears and break previously established cycles.
IF EVERYTHING IS A LIE
Now... if the story in Gege's mind has evolved since that statement (I think Gege buries a lot of ledes but also kind of think they like to twist the knife with whoever fans seem to gravitate toward...), these are a litany of my thoughts.
Kenjaku is dead. When he said his will would continue, he wasn't talking about his revival. He's talking about the complexity of his grand scheme being carried out whether he's there or not because of the deals he's put in place and the measures taken dating back literal centuries. I still think he pulled the strings for Geto's defection in the first place and can't tell if Mei Mei or Kong play a part in furthering this plan. I still think there's another big bad laying in wait, yet to be revealed.
If not another baddie, there is an unexplored facet of the afterlife or purgatory that I think plays into Kenjaku's overall scheme. Think about it... he absorbed Tengen and what is the land of the living and the land of the dead if not separated by a mere barrier? We've seen it with Nanami and Gojo post-mortem, but it was also hinted by Jogo when Hanami died. At the edge of life, it seems there is a commonality for humans and curses alike. Perhaps that's also what Larue was insinuating after Kenjaku officially absconded with Geto's corpse during the Shibuya arc. How would Kenjaku hope to utilize this to evolve his power/sate his curiosity, though?
We haven't seen the last of Toji. One, an anomaly like he and/or Maki have to help in setting right and laying waste to the paradigm that discarded them. Maki already got a taste of her revenge by wiping out the Zenin but I still think there's more to be had. Plus, there are so many details missing from Megumi's origin that have to be addressed and I'm expecting something key about his birth mother. Lastly, wouldn't it be an interesting redemption if Toji is who ultimately liberates Megumi? Team effort, yes, but Toji is like the last face Sukuna sees before expulsion or exorcism?
Nobara isn't dead, obviously. Again, her cursed technique would be a helpful way to remotely wear Sukuna down if you recall that there are still 5 fingers outstanding + how she was able to inflict damage on Mahito's main body by attacking his double.
I still believe Miwa could be a sleeping dragon.
Gojo will be revived. Call it hope, call it cope, I don't care. I think it's a necessary part of closing out his part in the story and, ultimately, a resolution to what started everyone down this course of events (which is another reason why Toji has to resurface). Lowkey, I think, barring the one survivor vs one martyr rule, I would say that Gojo and Megumi both dying would also make sense. Gojo gets his redemption and can finally abdicate his position as the strongest, leaving behind a semblance of the world he hoped to create. Still bested but successful. Megumi reunites with Tsumiki but, ultimately, Gojo and Megumi have that Apollo + Creed stalemate ending just like their forebears.

Hello.... What do you think are Fushiguro and Itadoriโ€™s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? Thanks if you want to answer....
Hello! Sorry for the delay in responding.
That's a good question, thanks for submitting it.
Well, I'll start with Yuji. I think his strong point (which was currently pointed out even by Sukuna) is his unshakable humanity. He is always willing to be a stronger version of himself, to evolve as a sorcerer and a person, to protect those he loves. No matter how many times Yuji falls, he will always get up and fight again to protect those he loves most. His willpower is impressive and one of the reasons why he hasn't lost control of his emotions yet, something Nanamin and Todo pointed out as being useless as a sorcerer (I felt like a proud mother seeing him fighting Sukuna so seriously, no. letting the memory of Nanami and Higuruma's "death" affect him, something that would have happened in his times in Shibuya.) I think this is what makes his character to the general public so good and easy to love.
Now, his weak point is certainly the great empathy he feels for people. Don't get me wrong, empathetic and kind characters are my favorites in any media, but Yuji takes it to a very high level. He feels guilty about things that are often not his fault directly (such as the large flow of curses that arose after he ate Sukuna's finger or the deaths caused in Shibuya). The empathy he feels for people makes him forget about saving his own skin (as happened in juvie, as Yuji sacrificed himself to save Megumi and Nobara and only managed to make things worse by, well, leaving sukuna free to kill him and cause harm to Megumi) and consequently puts her friends in danger. This is so real that even external characters have to state that he is not to blame, like Panda saying that Yaga died post-shibuya and Yuta hiding that Toge lost his arm when Sukuna expanded the domain, although it is pointless since Yuji is so trapped in the request from his grandfather who cannot bear to be responsible - directly and indirectly - for the deaths of innocent people.
In Megumi's case, I think his strong point is his wit and maturity. He is a very focused sorcerer who quickly analyzes situations and draws up logical plans to win. Even though she seems cold and distant, Megumi always thinks of others when he makes a plan and puts the safety of others above his own - something very similar to Yuji. His intelligence is what makes a character trustworthy, so much so that he was already going out on missions alone, he was praised by Nanami and Nobara and Yuji trust him a lot when it comes to having a plan. However, his weak point is, as Gojo said, his mentality. Megumi has serious self-esteem issues that end up affecting how he interacts with the other characters, remaining distant and stoic, and how he fights - always saving Mahoraga as a last resort because we know what happens when he summons him. He cannot see himself as powerful, so he does not fight much when facing a powerful enemy, using Mahoraga to secure a victory. He doesn't consider himself important to others, so much so that, despite thinking about Yuji when he's about to die in Shibuya, he doesn't regret his decision. This is Megumi's weakest point and it is for this reason that he still cannot suppress Sukuna like Yuji did. Megumi gave up everything when Tsumiki died (which is understandable) and is now just waiting for someone to kill Sukuna (I doubt he's waiting for salvation and I believe a "there's nothing left to be saved" moment could happen soon)
When it comes to dynamics, I love how Yuji and Megumi complement each other perfectly, which reflects in their fighting style. Megumi is a long-range fighter, while Yuji is a melee opponent. Yuji is muscular and Megumi is intelligent. And they're also a lot of fun to follow, both in battle and in their interactions. Going further, I really like how Yuji always claims that Megumi is someone who is smart, kind and trustworthy, valuing those little details that Megumi doesn't seem to notice (in fact, I really believe that Yuji is much more observant than most people he thinks, because that alone explains how he noticed Osawa's cute handwriting and the way she eats fish; my boy may be slow, but he's not a complete idiot). I also really like how Megumi always takes care of Yuji, whether it's making sure he's okay and thinking of ways so they don't have to kill in the slaughter game, and giving Yuji meaning to continue living ("so start by saving me, Itadori ", a real glue to repair the crack in Yuji's conviction and humanity).
Anyway, I think that's it. I'm a little tired because I woke up early lmao. Thanks again for submitting this question. It was fun and I love talking about my boys.

it's the violence that the curse king feeds off of. it's the pain, the way that megumi doesn't scream, but oh --, his eyes do. it's everything that he's always envisioned, to see the other die by his hands. if only he didn't test him like this, sukuna wouldn't have done anything. however, it's more than a hurried situation, it's more than what he could go off of, he can feed off of. everything in this moment, it's more than what he's dreamt of, to truly take over yuji itadori's puny little body : to remark him as this nothingness that he lives in, that he currently vacates himself in because he loves the suffering. another puncture to his throat, deepening his claws inside, not caring about anything else.
there's nothing more that the other can do, aside from die & let the curse eat him whole. he's starved, completely. for anyone to test him, they'll know the true words of the demon, of keeping his promises true. it's like playing a cat & mouse game, with him playing with his food, with him punching his bones until they're broken, until they're dust & the physical being of megumi fushiguro is gone, is nothing but ashes. like he's said before --, all he wants is to see the other be nothing but stepped on, spat at, as if he were a failure in this life.
sukuna isn't holding back. why would he? he's enjoying the pure agony of the other, not screaming, but knowing that he's in pain because of the curse. for a minute, all he does is study the other, forcing the brat inside of him to witness this --, the death of his friend, of someone that failed to save him. that failed, utterly, to save the both of them.
look at him. if you don't, i'll kill him. i'll cut open his throat if you don't look at him, yuji itadori.
he's not done. he's never done with torturing someone, especially if they've deserved it, just like megumi did. yet, with another thud of the other's head onto the concrete floor, sukuna takes in the greatest pleasure of all time : watching his eyes fade to nothing but black, to see red all over his body, to gaze in pure admiration of his work, to see it all weaken because of him. now, for sukuna to halt for a moment -- to release his claws out of his throat, simply to watch the blood bubble, he's debating on a great decision. of course he is, because he aches to see the other die by his hands.
as his hand sinks more & more into the other's chest, fingers circling the other's artery, wanting nothing but to rip it out of his chest, his eyes are noticing that he's trying to get away. was it that obvious what the other was doing? it was, yes. but that doesn't stop the curse at all from harming the other even more.
to think he was going to release him, go back to that school of theirs, show everyone what happened --, if anyone dared to mess with him. there sukuna goes, ultimately striking his fingernails --, his claws so deep into the other's chest, his hand feeling at the beating of his heart. " i said . . don't you dare mess with me, child. " voice speaks so simply of things, yet, his actions say much differently. " yet, here you are, testing me, " he muses, curling his fingers around the other's beating center, aching for so much to yank it out of his tiny body.
megumi truly wished he had been killed in a single blow. this was truly the most immense pain he had ever been through in his life. the only sounds coming from him now were awful gurgling noises from his punctured, restricted throat. the fight had left him, all his vitality focusing on trying to breathe. if he could keep drawing breath, he could keep fighting. yet every breath was agony.
whatever hit him next, he didn't know. he only felt impact after impact, and slowly the pain started to lose any meaning. although his body was screaming, he didn't know what it was that hurt him so badly. he was sure every bone in his body was broken, every artery slashed. the king of curses was toying with him, drawing out every inch of his death for his own amusement.
just then, regrets flooded his system. regret that he had not been able to save the people he wanted to, and that he was going to be torn to shreds at the hands of sukuna... wearing yuji's face like a mask.
he couldn't see, couldn't hear. his vision was a red mess, his body broken. when the pummeling stopped, he let out a breath choked with thick hot blood and tried to... just let go. he didn't want any more pain. he wanted to slip into the darkness. yet, sukuna wasn't finished with him yet.
he felt the sharp pain dig into his chest and arched his back with a strangled cry. the new pain drew clarity to his battered mind and he started trying to use his maimed hands to beat him back, though his attempt was feeble and pathetic. however, blinded, he got a good sense of where sukuna was and placed a palm on the ground. drawing on the shadows, he tried to use them to suck sukuna down, to at least make him lose balance or release him.

A Cursed Reality (Ch.7)
This is kind of rushed to be honest because I actually wanted to release a chapter but the good part is the next chapter and to get there I had to release this. I hope it's somewhat entertaining. I put some horrible jokes in here and I hope it makes someone laugh. Enjoy!
Previous // Next
Chapter Seven:
"You know" Gojo started " I have a lousy personality"
"I know"
Ijichi's fast reply would have actually been amusing to [Name] had the sorcerer actually been paying attention. He was 100% imagining it but it felt like the air was shifting. It felt like change and [Name] wasn't sure he liked it. If you were one to believe that [Name] was some all powerful deity whose natural instincts would always protect him you'd be half right. It was honestly a guess but deep down he hadn't felt sukuna's influence vanish. At first he thought it could be the presence of the other 19 fingers but that wasn't it. When Sukuna fused with Yuji they created a distinct presence and it was getting stronger.
"Shoko-san" [Name] interrupted Gojo "Do you have a mirror. And a blanket"
Yuji probably shouldn't make a deal with the King of Curses but he had the chance to get back to everyone. To Fushiguro who so selfishly saved Yuji in the first place, to Gojo who came in and added light to his life as an odd parental figure, Kugisaki who despite her constant jabs, he could honestly not imagine life without. Back to [Name] who promised they'd meet again. He'd be a punching bag for Sukuna if it meant he had the chance to see them again. Anything was better than the bone zone.
"Okay." Yuji cheered "I'm gonna kick your-"
"I'm gonna reset this crappy jujutsu world!" Gojo began "It would be easy to kill everyone who's in charge but someone else would just take their place. Nothing would change. And it's not if people approve of massacres anyway. That's why I'm turning to education."
An image of Maki, Inumaki, Pand, Kugisaki, Fushguro, and Itadori came to the forefront of Gojo's mind: "I need strong and intelligent allies. I need to foster them. To that end, I'll sometimes."
'You sure you aren't just lazy' Ijichi thought
Gojo continued "They're all great. Especially Third Year Hakari and Second Year Okkotsu. They'll be as good as me someday."
'And where does the sobbing [Name] fit into all of this' Ijichi found himself thinking
"Hey you guys" Shoko called out. She had just gotten back from showing [Name] the secret room she used to cry in when she first began the job. "I'm about to get started. You guys gonna just sit there and watch?"
Ijichi and Satoru looked at her in complete shock considering the dead boy behind her sat up with a glossy unfocused look.Itadori "Whoa!" made her realize exactly why they were looking at her like that.
"Full Frontal"
[Name] of course picked that dramatic moment to reenter the room with a blanket and a much more composed look. It was hard to tell he was in shambles just earlier.
"Really? You want to draw everyone's attention to the mighty itadori jr?" [Name] questioned sarcastically as he threw the blanket over Yuji's head. He must've thrown to hard because he covered the wrong head.
"G-g-gojo! He's Alive"
"Hehe shut up Ijichi"
"Too bad" Shoko mumbled her disappointment at not getting to carve up sukuna's vessel. At least not yet.
"Um. This is kind of embarrassing" Yuji said beneath the blanket.
"Yuji!" Itadori turned his head to the smiling Gojo who had wrapped one arm around [Name] and raised the other one to wave hi "Welcome Back"
"Yo! I'm Back"
The two gave a high five. And [Name] who had returned to normal refused to show just how much Yuji's death affected him. He did let the boy know he was glad to have him back before turning to walk out.
"[Name]!"
Hearing his name being called the sorcerer turned around and looked at Gojo who had a closed mouth smile.[Name] caught all the hidden meanings behind the smile and nodded his head. "Got it"
It was time to visit everyone else. Gojo would be too busy to train him as of now but until then he could train with Kick-ass, Rise of the Planet of the Panda-Gorilla, The Polyglot, 15 year old rip off of Aki from chainsaw man, and Nobara. She didn't get a ridiculous nickname because [Name] actually liked her.
[Name] walked down to the training site to see Fushiguro getting his ass handed to him by Maki, and Nobara being swung around by Panda and turned around realizing he did not miss them as much as he thought he did. He'd rather go on a mission with Satoru or train with Yuji in secret. (He would also learn that this situation is not favorable either considering Gojo would use him to carry mochi and Yuji had to deal with the Principal's stupid fucking cursed corpses).
"[Name] you kind of suck at cursed techniques maybe I should've left you with Yuji"
"I do NOT suck at cursed techniques"
"You do"
"I DO NOT. Besides. I have no use for them"
"Neither do I but you don't want some super powerful final attack?"
"My domain expansion is basically a Mortal Kombat fatality"
"That's what most people think until they get their ass handed to them. Besides isn't yours unfinished"
"SHUT UP." [Name] screamed petulantly "Besides I made progress. I finally understand how to fully use Cursed Storytelling. I'll beat you one day"
'I know you will' Gojo thought to himself as he smiled. "Come on. Let's refine that domain of yours. The best way is through field experience"
"You're just giving me another one of your missions aren't you' [Name] deadpanned
"I would never"
"..."
"..."
"Come on. Or do you want to train with Principal Yaga instead"
"Bastard

Witch AU- Metropolitan Students (First Years)
With the help of Gaiaonline (and the users' extensive guides), I have been able to create representations for the cast for this au. So I'm gonna start with our main kids, giving a little info under each one.
Before we get started, a little info:
An Ultoma is the magical mark that appears when a witch users their powers. Remember the au is mostly based off of Kousuke Satake's The Witch and the Beast. It is a great manga y'all should check out
Warlock is just a witch who betrays witchkind
While they still have to fight monsters (who want to eat their souls for their magic), more often than not, The Magic Association won't send kids on too dangerous missions unless they're either really strong (like Yuuta or Maki) or incredibly specialized for a certain case. So usually they're doing less flashy things like helping people open enchanted locks or solving some magical mishap
(This doesn't mean that they aren't getting into dangerous adventures, no that still happens a lot bc they all have a knack for rocking the boat and getting themselves in trouble, only that the higher ups are way more strict about who does what within the Association)
If you read through the fics and see that some of the descriptions don't exactly match up with the images, it's because Gaiaonline can only do so much
You can read what I have so far here: https://archiveofourown.org/series/2134044
First Years
Yuji Itadori
Tumblr media
Ultoma: None, but Sukuna's ultoma (the marking on his skin) appears when Sukuna is in control. Instead, Yuji has a curse mark (representing the 20 seals in his body), which are the marks under his eyes.
Our main character everyone! He isn't truly a "witch" in this au, but a "vessel", something created for the soul (lol) purpose of containing something dangerous. In this case, he contains the soul of the Warlock of Malevolence, The Double-Faced Sukuna. Since Sukuna is so dangerous, 20 seals were placed in Yuji's body as a backup in case Yuji himself wasn't enough (which he sometimes isn't), but Yuji broke the first trying to save Megumi and things just get more chaotic from there.
He was allowed to attend a Witch Workshop (their equivalent of school), if he could help the Association track down the warlock who has possessed the body of one of the Associations 4 Great Witches (like basically the best performing/crazy powerful).
Megumi Fushiguro
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ultoma: An wheel with eight handles (like what's on the Mahoraga's back) that's on his forehead.
The Shadow Witch on the run from his Zen'in heritage! In this au, witches inherit the memories (and sometimes personalities and preferences) of their predecessors, which is why they all master magic pretty quickly. It's also why most clan witches are all pretty similar and devoted towards carrying on the wishes of the very first witch of each clan, which those resembling them the most being made the clan head and forced to carry on the burden.
In the Zen'ins case, it's to keep the Beast Demon Mahoraga sealed within the Shadow Witch's heart for all eternity. They were in a tight spot before Megumi was born bc no one else had the correct power to perfectly maintain the seal.
But Megumi kind of isn't interested in accepting his Zen'in heritage or becoming the head. He's only maintaining the seal bc he knows the world will get a lot worse if he doesn't. And also he spends like 3 days a year with the Zen'ins bc that same demon they are bound to seal also makes them transform into werewolves.
It's Gojo decision to send Megumi to save Yuji from the Association's witch hunters that gets this au started.
Nobara Kugisaki
Tumblr media
Ultoma: A trail of roses going from her head to her arm.
The one and only Nobara Kugisaki! I originally wanted to make her the Rose Witch, but then remembered that her power has nothing to do with roses, so she's the Resonance Witch.
In this au, she grew up in the country side, which is way more superstitious and less knowledgeable of magic then those living in the city. So she and her grandmother had to be very careful with the use of any magic.
But eventually Nobara met an older girl named Saori, who unfortunately had to leave after nearly becoming a victim of a with hunt. After Saori left, Nobara made a decision that she won't remain stuck in the village that her family has remained in for centuries.
She came to the city for a roaring good time and she'll be damn sure that she gets that.
Junpei Yoshino
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ultoma: A series of blots with strings underneath his fringe.
What is this? Another first year? The Jellyfish Witch? I'm in the driver's seat now so why not?
So Junpei wasn't actually born a witch. He was a human who had the potential to be a pretty-okay mage, but a deal with a young demon morphed his soul into that of a witch before transferring his body into one that has all of the perks of a witch (immortality, bewitching blood, etc). However, things go sideways when the Association get involved (a bunch of murders were piling up), and Mahito destroys Junpei's original body, trapping him in this state.
So Junpei just trying to adapt to the witch lifestyle (he doesn't have the inherited knowledge like most, and isn't used to having his soul hunted by everyone, or fighting) while also making friends for the first time
Mimiko Hasaba
Tumblr media
Ultoma: A pattern of a rope around her neck
Okay for her and the next two, if you're anime only you won't know who the twins are until the movie drops. This is the Hanging Witch. She the youngest of the Geto-Gojo household and is the most nervous/distrusting of humans. She and her sister where almost burned alive by them after all.
Her brother and sister are trying to get her out of her shell. Also she and Nanako are trying to help Yuji tap into Sukuna's magic so he can help save their dad.
Nanako Hasaba
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ultoma: Rope pattern trailing her fingertips
The the second Hasaba twin, the Photo Witch.. She's nosy, somehow gets in places she shouldn't and is frenemies with Nobara.
She and Megumi have an a sibling rivalry going on. Usually it was tempered by Tsumiki or their parents, but since Tsumiki is in an enchanted sleep, Getou is having a warlock joyride his body and Gojo is dealing with both teaching and the magic world wanting to revert to the Dark Ages, the only thing stopping those two from going overboard are themselves and whoever gets caught in the middle.
Nanako and Mimiko use different items as conduits for their magic because their the result of two different distant witch lines crossing. Usually it ends in disaster for the child, but they came our pretty okay. And their magic is still pretty similar; Nanako can manipulate locations and people through photos, while Mimiko can manipulate people through her dolls (also Mimiko has to kill them to release control). The similarity their magic has to Nobara is also probably why they so close to her.
Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed, and tomorrow I'll share my ideas for the second years! (Who have also gotten a size increase bc I wanted to not make it exactly like canon with the paint swapped)
Add suggestions if you feel like it!

โ €โ €โ €โ €"I'VE NEVER SEEN TWO PRETTY BEST FRIENDS, WELL, YOU'RE BOTH JUST DOWN RIGHT UGLY THOUGH."
'an unregistered high grade cursed spirit?! is she the one that set this up?!' fushiguro stands his ground as his fists clench hard, sweat dripping the side of his forehead.
"excuse me?! did you just call me ugly?!" kugisaki points her finger at the cursed spirit, a tick mark over her head. the female cursed spirit just smiles, tilting her head to the side and pissing the sorcerer more than she needs to be.
"your hair must be dyed, you look like a tangerine sweetie."
"i'm gonna kill this bitch!"
'is that what she's concerned about?' fushiguro sweatdrops as he watches the tension unfold between the two girls.
"kiyara! itadori!" he yells out to the two as he runs to their direction, ignoring kugisaki and the cursed spirit's argument.
"i'm fine! thanks to him we got out in time." kiyara admits as yuji let's has hand unwrap around her waist. fushiguro bit his bottom lip and clenched his fists, guilt somehow sipping through his body. 'what the fuck...'
"you're a cursed spirit right? did you make this mess?" putting kiyara down itadori gets up and picks his cursed weapon, eyeing down the teenage looking cursed spirit.
"pretty, right?" her hands take the skull of a human which was positioned at the corner of the stage. she stares at it in fascination and traces her finger along its boney jawline. "i mean, all the curses you killed used to be human."
"what?"
"they were once human, just amplified their fear with my cursed energy and killed their souls. then, i turn them into my little puppets." throwing the skull right in front of the sorcerers and having a chain stab through it. planting her butt on the auditorium's stage, crossing her legs over each other and look down on the sorcerers.
"a cursed spirit that can turn humans into curses..?" their eyes widen, getting ready for battle. they watch as the thunder which struck behind her illuminated, her mind controls the chains that float above her body as she continued to gave the shamans a cocky smirk.
"usually i only kill those that don't have much time left in them, because i see how long you'll all live like a shinigami." she points her her green forest eyes that turn red in a single blink, shrugging her shoulders. "but that got boring ten years ago."
"and it looks like your time is up. die for me."
the cursed spirit's hand went up in the air, black mist formed within her grasp as it started to shape a scythe. in seconds it materialized into one that was decorated with skulls and red flowers. her one swing made shivers go down their spine.
in a blink of an eye the sorcerers disappeared from the cursed spirit's view causing her to be taken aback, confused by the change of scenery. while kiyara used her cursed energy to make illusions of them, their real bodies scattered and were unseen to her eyes.
"apologies, i forgot to introduce myself. i'm yoruko, to let you know who'll kill you." she stands up on the stage, grinning as she puts her scythe and hands behind her back. yoruko sways her body playfully and smiles mercilessly.
"now here's a pop quiz! what do humans fear the most?" her chains scatter to the gym floor, bringing her off the stage and onto the main floor. yoruko approaches the illusion of a trembling kiyara and fushiguro on the ground, her emotions not even once running wild and single handedly spinning her scythe.
"is it the sea? the dark? death is one of them, most definitely! but what else?"
'we need to escape, this cursed spirit is out of her mind!' fushiguro eyes kiyara who was right across the gym floor away from him. he glances over to itadori and kugisaki who were together, mouthing to leave and get help from their sensei since they were the closest to the doors.
"humans fear the unknown."
kiyara leaps from her spot to go head on with yoruko from the side, her hands instantly grip on to her daggers to attack her. but in just that second, a chain stabbed through the girl's side.
all three's eyes widen when they watch as the metal pierced her body just as fast as it came out. fushiguro's blood went cold, his heart dropped and sunk to the bottom of his stomach to see kiyara throw up blood.
the illusions which she set up disappeared like mist, making them all seen to yoruko's bare eye. she chuckles, staring at kiyara who stumbles back to where she was with a hand on her stomach. she makes eye contact with yoruko after coughing up blood, a foxy smile grazing the cursed spirit's lips.
"i can still see your soul."
'kiyara's faded doesn't work!' fushiguro tries to run towards her, ducking the chains which yoruko effortlessly aimed at him. she lets out a small tsk out after seeing fushiguro make his way to kiyara, grasping her body in his hands and glaring at her.
'at this rate, we'll all die!' kugisaki slams multiple nails at yoruko who only deflected them with her scythe, the bored look on her face as she gracefully spins her body with her weapon. the moment her eyes opened again, she was once more stuck in kiyara's faded which annoyed yoruko.
"stupid sorcerer, you really think by changing my sight you can escape?" a scowl shows her face, circling the black scythe in her left hand before swinging it behind her back.
while yoruko was impared, itadori took this as a chance to counter and up their chances of escaping her and possibly catching up with their sensei.
just as he was about to swing the slaughter demon at her, she maniacally smiles and presses her hand on itadori's stomach. "let me spread your fear!"
the moment her body came into contact with his, her field of vision completely changed, not just that but also the atmosphere that sent bone chilling senses up and down her spine.
'w-what the...' skulls. all yoruko could see were cattle skulls piled up with a man that sat atop the dark space. her body stares up to come face to face with pink hairใƒผ the same face which itadori had yet at the same time bore markings.
"isn't your head high, brat?" his voice made her frozen body act, scramming to the ground on to her knees.
"i-i'm sorry!" yoruko stutters loud and clear, until realization hit her. "wait, who are you?!"
"it seems you have a death wish." he was the undisputed king of curses ; sukuna.
yoruko instinctively detached her hand from itadori after seeing through into his soul, causing her blow to be little to no effect on him. her chains drag her out of his point of reach while she puts her free hand over her pounding chest.
'i need to keep my distance from that boy.' she still can't shrug the feeling of fear that runs through her veins when she touched itadori. it was as if she was alive again, the feeling she lost many years ago came back in the flesh of a teenage boy.
she felt alive.
'did she see sukuna or something?' itadori ponders, raising his brow as he saw the momentary fear that bared on yoruko's face, but it didn't take more than a second for her to regain her posture.
just before she swings her scythe down on itadori, lightning appears right before it could touch a single hair on itadori's body. yoruko steps back in shock, "what the fuck?!"
"lightning?" all four watch as the golden substance glowed in the middle of the floor. the light was so bright they started covering their eyes. a black figure dropped from the ceiling as the cape flew through their body.
'i didn't even feel her presence!' fushiguro's eyes lock to the back of their savior, the black veiled jingasa that covered the majority of it's face was still hidden under black fabric. by simple deduction he concluded it was female, the size of her figure and the heels that clicked when she landed on the gym floor.
her hands shape into claws, from her side and up in a diagonal manner lightning manifested from her fingertips. the golden light carved into the ground and made it's way to yoruko in incredible speed.
'it's getting closer! shit!' yoruko curses the sorcerer as she continues to delfect the lightning to bits, only for it to suddenly turn into water when her scythe hacked the lightning to pieces. she furrows her brows, finishing the last one and pointing her weapon at the figure, "who are you?"
'wait a sec... lightning and then water?' kiyara squints her eye lids while trying to move her body, but fushiguro quickly looks down in haste. "be careful! you'll lose blood like this!"
"i'll be fine, trust me." she assures him by putting a hand on his shoulder, sending him a smile that made fushiguro's heart churn. amidst the fight kiyara ripped her own school sleeve and tightly ties it around her waist in attempt to stop the bleeding.
"she's the masked shaman... shousen." kugisaki watches intently with the others, her eyes see how fluid her moves were when it came to dodging both scythe and chains. it even looked graceful to her eyes.
'i can't touch her soul without being burned or electrocuted!' yoruko leaps back to gain distance between her and the masked shaman, gripping her scythe in frustration. all she's done so far was get her chains melted, hands burned and electrocuted every time they came into physical contact.
"who?" itadori cocks his head to the side, he was amazed at how the sorcerer easily made the cursed spirit back off.
"she's a first grade sorcerer that never shows her face, we don't even know her real name." fushiguro explains with wide eyes, he still couldn't believe that someone like her was there to save them.
"all we know she's qualified to become the youngest special grade one sorcerer! that's girl power for you." kugisaki adds on filled with admiration.
"so you guys know her?"
"it's the first we've even seen her."
'water? since when?' yoruko watches the ripples in the fluid that move to every step she took, her reflexion being tampered by the small waves. she couldn't help but think, what the hell was going on in this shaman's mind?
"fourth blessing, god's light." shousen's index finger lit up at the tip with a flame, and with ease she tossed it over to the water. yoruko intently watches as the flame acted like a match that would light up a torchใƒผ but it was completely different.
the hot flame fell to create a string of explosions that headed towards the cursed spirit. blowing up half of the auditorium and sending yoruko to jump out into the field. shousen uses her cursed technique to create air around her and the teenagers, making them all fly before placing them down on a safe platform.
"oil? no," yoruko coughs out, her clothes in tatters with burns and flesh wounds. easily she was able to regenerate her parts, wincing at the slight pain she was inflicted before sighing in relief.
'with the lightning she threw at me earlier it dug down underneath the gym. because of that she made holes that caused natural gas to leak up and contaminate the water. fucking smart bitch.'
"still alive? lady luck must be in her favour."
not even a single breath was taken, shousen stood right in front of yoruko. the mesh black veil continued to flow vividly. she stares up into her crimson eyesใƒผ ones that looked like the setting sun that reflect on the waters of the calm ocean. the cursed spirit couldn't see the full face of the sorcerer due to the black face viel that covered her, but it didn't matter. she was entrancing.
'she's fastใƒผ' yoruko couldn't even finish her thought when a fist flew at her gut, sending her across the field and her body hitting a rugby pole. before the cursed spirit could even process her next move, she was barely able to block shousen's kick to the head covered in lightning with her scythe. 'she'll kill me!'
jumping to the side and away from shousen, yoruko's scythe turns into mist once more and disappears from her hands. panic starts to rush over her body, this was bad for her. "i need to get out of hereใƒผ"
"oh what do we have here, a cursed spirit?"
"another one?!"
