Day 9: Dance

Adachi x Kurosawa | Nim's Lovely Tickletober 

Word Count: 900

They were not going to have a wedding dance. Adachi didn't see the need, and Kurosawa went along with Adachi's opinion.

"Well. Here we are," Kurosawa said with a smile, having Adachi in his arms as the music started playing for their long awaited wedding dance after all.

"Here we are," Adachi repeated. Now that the time was here, he couldn't help but think it wasn't that bad.

Subjected to the peer pressure, with friends, family and colleagues encouraging them and saying their wedding would not be complete with them opening the dance floor with a romantic dance, they ended up practicing a simple waltz after all.

It had not been a moment Adachi looked forward to, and after feeling nervous for most of the time, now that the moment was here, all he could feel was relief. It was actually just him and Kurosawa, here on the middle of the dance floor, not much different from when they were practicing, just the two of them.

Because of the lighting with the bright spotlight focused only on them, he couldn't see the crowd around them very well, and because of the music, he couldn't hear them either. It really was as if they were all alone, together.

"It's not as bad as I thought," Adachi admitted. Kurosawa smiled and nodded.

"I think so too."

Adachi tried to figure out Kurosawa's expression. "Really? Or... are you regretting it? I'm not embarrassing you, aren't I? I'm not exactly a good dancer," Adachi said as he felt himself move around clumsily despite having practiced the routine a few times.

Kurosawa shook his head. "You're doing just fine."

Adachi chuckled. "Heh. Sometimes I miss my magical powers. I would've loved to read your mind right now to see if you're telling me the truth."

"Oh? So you would like to read my mind now, hm?" Kurosawa asked. "Would you like me to tell you what I am thinking?"

Adachi blushed. ".....You don't need to tell m- eh!" He twitched when he felt Kurosawa's hand on his waist squeeze him a little.

Kurosawa pulled him a little closer and said: "I was actually just thinking about how ticklish you are, and that I would like to spend our wedding night tickling you until you cry. What do you think?"

!!!!!

Adachi's eyes widened and he trembled in Kurosawa's arms. His foot missed the beat and he stumbled, but Kurosawa helped him back in position with his steady grip as he continued to lead the dance.

"W-what are you saying!" Adachi hissed. He quickly turned his head to look at the people but remembered he couldn't see their faces in the dark.

"Don't worry. They can't hear us. Just like you can't hear my thoughts, so I'll tell you..." Kurosawa's fingers on Adachi's body moved again, tickling him very subtly and making him squirm.

"...Dancing here with you right now, I couldn't help but think that this is another one of those moments between us which I'd like to treasure forever. Just like our first meeting, and the moment when you said you loved me. And also, the moment when I tickled you the first time, and heard your beautiful laugh."

Adachi was losing his mind. They were talking too much! He couldn't concentrate on the dance! More importantly, Kurosawa what the hell! What was he saying! He felt his ears and cheeks burning and his legs trembled more with each word Kurosawa spoke.

"Then, I thought... That I'd really like to tickle you again, and not only just a little but... A lot, actually. Will you let me, tonight?"

"D-d-don't say such- ah!" Adachi stumbled again, but Kurosawa's firm grip was enough to keep him upright, and to keep the dance going. By now, Adachi seemed like a silly doll with Kurosawa controlling his movements, guiding him smoothly and successfully completing every dance step.

Adachi could also vaguely register that the music was almost ending. "Will you?" Kurosawa asked, with this warm, intense look in his eyes.

"I... I, eh..." Adachi mumbled, blushing like crazy. "Y-yes, i-if that's what you want..."

The most beautiful smile appeared on Kurosawa's face. "That's a relief. I promise it'll be a wedding night we'll never forget."

With that, the music ended, and Kurosawa released Adachi so they could both bow and welcome the others to the dance floor. The spot Kurosawa had been holding and tickling lightly still felt all sensitive and tingly, and Adachi was out of breath even though the dance had only been minimally tiring.

"Good dance. What were you two talking about, though?" Adachi looked to his side at Tsuge who stood by his side now. Holding his hand was his younger lover, Minato.

"What? Uh... nothing much," Adachi said, still flustered.

"Thank you," Kurosawa said to Tsuge as he stood next to Adachi again, his arm sliding around him and his hand returning to that ticklish spot. Adachi tensed up, but when Kurosawa didn't tickle him, he relaxed again.

"We were feeling a little nervous during that dance. So talking to each other helped us perform better. Right?" Kurosawa explained, and he smiled at Adachi.

"I see. Well, it was a beautiful dance," Tsuge said before he got dragged along by Minato so they could dance as well.

The moment it was just them again. Kurosawa leaned closer and made Adachi's ear tickle with the words: "Did you think I would tickle you again, just now? Don't you worry, I'm saving it for tonight."

There was no time to answer that. They were joined by more friends and family, and all Adachi could do was look forward to their wedding night which was surely going to be filled with so much love, passion and.... tickling?!

It sounds ridiculous to say 30 years of virginity can make you a wizard. But every time I touched Kurosawa's heart, perhaps that's what I was becoming.

Now that cherry magic's anime is over there are two things that I'm disappointed about in the final. First we didn't get the hickey thing where they were like if this mark dissappears I will come back and make a new one I was waiting for it for whole episode. I was really sad that they didn't include it. Second the fact that they literally rushed the ending they could've made another episode but they didn't so that's sad.

BUT

These two scenes are nearly enough to make up for it. Keyword nearly. I'm still disappointed.

i just finished cherry magic (thai)!!!

one thing that's been on my mind since i first watched the japanese live action is how much adachi/achi (mis)attributes his kindness to his mind-reading power. he says he is only able to help people because he can read their minds and know what they need.

BUT just because he knows what they need, the fact that he always goes out of his way to help them is because he is kind. what makes kurodachi and karanachi's relationship wonderful is the fact that kurosawa/karan sees that, recognises the kindness that he harbours and loves him for it.

why? because kurosawa/karan is proof of that kindness. adachi/achi consoled him at a time where he felt the lowest, complimenting him on his efforts when people only saw his looks, and adachi/achi did all that even before he had any mind-reading power.

adachi/achi is kind by default and that power only helps him extend that kindness even more.

*shakes them like a ragdoll* i hope you find the space to be as kind to yourselves as you do to others

anyways, congrats to the happy couple!!! i can sleep soundly at night knowing adachi x kurosawa / achi x karan are married in all possible universes
