Happy to see other characters get some figures but I'm still confused on why Yuya is the only non rush protag to not have a figure-

For anyone curious, Sora and Yuri were Obelisk Blues (high ranking soldiers and special ops), Dennis was Ra Yellow (intel and espionage), and Celina was Slifer Red (basic units and grunts). I know this because I made it up.

Do you have any advice on how to emulate the twist style? I'm genuinely struggling to wrap my head around it.

NOPE! I wish I did! Because! I’m not sure how to describe what I’m doing in the first place. I just kinda… go. (And anyone who has watched any drawing stream of mine can probably attest to that. Assuming anyone watched them actively, I doubt it sometimes.)

I was just formally taught how to draw what I see (this applies to real-life stuff too, it kinda goes hand in hand), and I just have a nasty lifelong habit regarding stuff I like. If it looks a certain way, I wanna draw it the same way or at least as close as I feasibly can get to it. 😩 This is like…. Years worth of somewhat unrelated knowledge + training just being applied to this goofy stuff. I draw wildly different art styles as a habit hobby.

For twst in particular, I’ve mentioned it elsewhere a couple times, but I did spend a good 2-ish years just trying to acclimate myself into training my hand to get used to how it works at all. It really is just… 80% staring at their model sheets or generic renders, and 20% me just… GOING!

I think people can easily tell when I’m not staring at a model sheet vs when I am lol. I do really like Toboso and her staffs artwork, and I’d like to get closer to understanding it, but there are things that she and her staff know how to do that I still don’t know how to accomplish. And those “things” are elements that I’m currently not able to identify in theory or in practice. Let alone articulate in words either if my meandering and vague way of talking about it is any indication lol. (Im not trying to be 1:1, that’s literally impossible for any human to do)

All I do is just look at it. A lot. I just try to draw what I see and go. Though, I’m sure that’s not exactly helpful or even practical “advice”, especially in just typing. Believe it or not I also can only wrap my head around it so much. And even then, I’m still not satisfied nor confident with where I’m at. Mostly due to my own limits. It’s not easy.

Then again I also don’t know how to explain or give “advice” on the fly on something that broad just in general. I wish I could be more useful with a more satisfying answer but, I’m not sure how I would. I wanna be helpful but I’m genuinely drawing a blank.

YuGiOh Blue-Eyes White Destiny Structure Deck Announced - Card List & Spoilers

The next Structure Deck from Yu-Gi-Oh!, and the 59th overall, has been announced by Konami. This deck will focus on the next chapter of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon strategy, aptly named Blue-Eyes White Destiny. It will bring back some reprints, and 5 brand new cards - with a chance of 3 cards in the Ultra Rare slot being Quarter Century Secret Rares instead! Let's go through what we know about this upcoming deck, releasing on the 6th of February 2025.

Deck Reception from Players

To start off, this deck got an overwhelmingly positive reception from players when it was announced. With the array of Structure Decks in existence, a lot of them have been hit or miss - but Blue-Eyes White Destiny seems to have hit the mark with a lot of players with many noting that this deck comes with a lot of reprinted staples.

With the Japanese card list out there already, and ours starting to trickle through, we're keeping an eye on those opinions to see if they change the closer we get to the release date.

The New Cards

Of course, we have to talk about the new cards. There are 5 new cards making their way into the game, predominantly themed around Blue-Eyes. They are named Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon, Neo Kaiser Sea Horse, Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons, Maiden of White and Wishes for Eyes of Blue. Some of these cards are differently named in the Japanese translation, with Wishes for Eyes of Blue being named Prayers for Eyes of Blue and Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons being named Roaring Descent of the Blue-Eyed Dragons.

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon

This card is a Level 12 Synchro, and it isn't just a Synchro Monster either - it's a Synchro Monstrosity. Essentially, once per turn, this card can negate any effect activated by your opponent on the field. It also consumes the negated effect to gain 1000 ATK Points for the rest of the turn. It also shields your Graveyard from your opponent, preventing them from banishing any of the cards located there. And if it all goes upside down and your opponent overcomes Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon's 3500 ATK Points, you can Summon another LIGHT Dragon Monster from your Graveyard - such as Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

2+ Tuners + 1 non-Tuner "Blue-Eyes" monster Your opponent cannot banish cards from your GY. You can only use each of the following effects of "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon" once per turn. When a card or effect is activated on the field (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, this card gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon monster from your GY, except "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon".

This card is pretty insane, and there are a few ways you can summon this out too so it has a lot of versatility.

Neo Kaiser Sea Horse

Shockingly, looks nothing like a sea horse - but this new Tuner is a Level 4 that gives you instant access to the tools you need. It will Special Summon itself from your hand, and adjusts the level of any Tuner (even itself) by +/- 1, giving you maximum flexibility for your next monster to Synchro Summon.

If you control " Blue-Eyes White Dragon ": You can Special Summon this card from your hand . You can target 1 LIGHT Tuner you control; increase or decrease its Level by 1. If this card is sent from the field to the GY : You can send 1 " Blue-Eyes " monster or 1 monster that mentions "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your Deck to the GY, except "Neo Kaiser Sea Horse". You can only use each effect of "Neo Kaiser Sea Horse" once per turn .

And it can access your Blue-Eyes monsters from your deck by sending them straight to your Graveyard, allowing easy revival.

Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons

A new Spell Card, Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons lets you Summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon straight out of your Deck, Graveyard - or even banishment! Alternatively, if you already have one out on the field, you can summon any Blue-Eyes monster instead!

Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from your Deck, GY, or banishment in Defence Position, but you can only Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" with this effect if you do not control it, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Dragon monsters. You can banish this card from your GY; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field, including a "Blue-Eyes" monster. You can only use 1 "Roar of the Blue-Eyed Dragons" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

There's also a bonus Fusion Summon once it lands in the Graveyard. Don't forget, the Japanese translation for this is Roaring Descent of the Blue-Eyed Dragons, and is named Saga of the Blue-Eyed Dragons in the proxies below.

Maiden of White

On the front of the deck, alongside Blue-Eyes Ultimate Spirit Dragon, is Maiden of White. Another powerful Tuner, every time she is targeted (including by your own effects) you can Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon or any Level 1 LIGHT Tuner from your Graveyard. Not to mention whenever you Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, you can Summon Maiden of White from your Graveyard. It's like they go hand in hand!

You can send this card from your hand or field to the GY ; place 1 " True Light " from your hand, Deck , or GY face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone . If you Special Summon " Blue-Eyes White Dragon " while this card is in your GY (except during the Damage Step ): You can Special Summon this card. When a card or effect is activated that targets this card on the field, or when this card is targeted for an attack ( Quick Effect ): You can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" or 1 Level 1 LIGHT Tuner from your GY. You can only use each effect of "Maiden of White" once per turn.

Unlike most effects, Maiden of White never banishes herself after using this effect either, so it can be used continuously throughout your Duel!

Wishes for Eyes of Blue

The final brand-new card is named Wishes for Eyes of Blue (Prayers for Eyes of Blue in Japanese). This card another great way to Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, adding to the multitude of ways you can combine cards in this deck to get out your Blue-Eyes monsters!

Discard 1 card; add 1 Level 1 LIGHT Tuner and 1 Spell/Trap that mentions "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your Deck to your hand, except "Wishes for Eyes of Blue". You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" you control; equip 1 "Blue-Eyes" monster from your Extra Deck to it as an Equip Spell that gives it 400 ATK. You can only use each effect of "Wishes for Eyes of Blue" once per turn.

In essence, this card: Discards for cost, adds from Deck to hand, activates from your Graveyard, equips from your Extra Deck, and grants the effect to Equip a Spell Card. It's pretty insane.
