Line art for Another Duel Disk model in the world of Yugioh Stars, donned by the villain faction Nexus Tech and their villain organization (name pending)
Unlike the normal Academy Disk, this one is just full on Arc-V disk with the Hard Light playing field.
Also here is the flat coloring for both current models. Colors change depending on user. Perhaps there's other users out there with variants of this model as well...

There's a reason why my YGO videos on my YouTube Channel have me using fanmade sims like YGO Omega, YGO Dueling Nexus, and YGO EDO PRO, and not using OFFICIAL clients like YGO Master Duel.
It's because Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel kinda sucks.
Master Duel is so behind on adding in new cards that already exist in real life… That's probably why fanmade sims like YGO Omega, YGO EDO PRO, and Dueling Book are so much more popular… My Fire Kings deck in Master Duel looks like a poor man's dollar store version compared to my IRL version of the deck since they just refuse to add in the modern support cards already. Even the fucking Duel Cafe world on VR Chat is more up to date on the card library than Master Duel is…
I'm fine with Master Duel having a different banlist and missing a few cards. I'm fine with having to spend real money to get certain cards. I'm fine with having to grind for materials to craft cards. Really. I am. But there's some decks in the game that are missing several key cards that the deck really needs to actually function.
My poor Fire Kings deck in Master Duel looks like a poor man's dollar store version of my IRL version of the same deck, because Konami won't just add the newer support cards that already exist into the game. So what am I forced to rely on? 3 copies of Maxx "C". A card everyone hates, and I'm practically forced to use it.
Where's Eternity? Where's Sky Burn? Where's Ponix? Where's Rangbali? Where's High Kirin? Where's this? Where's that? Where's anything to make the decks I like to use actually playable so I don't have to either run bullshit cards at 3 or dig up a cringe-ass anime girl deck?
Also the community is ass too, everyone always ragequits the game at like turn 2 or 3 when I'm either about to get a really good combo off, or when I take 0.000002 seconds too long to play my card because I'm trying to learn a new deck.

Over the Nexus Deck Profile: Jurrac
"Where's the unfairness? Where's the dumb combo? This is just big bunguses!" ~ MBT Yu-Gi-Oh!, Progression Playoffs #15 Jurracs are the first real Dinosaur archetype. Their gameplan revolves around battle, destroying opponent's monsters or being destroyed themselves to gain their often powerful effects. Between Guaiba, Velo, and Fossil Dig, the deck has no trouble searching out your monsters to give you what you need, creating a low-level toolbox deck with solutions to various problems. "Low-level" sounds strange for a Dinosaur deck, but this is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's; the high-level stuff is in the Extra Deck. In particular we have our boss monster, Jurrac Giganoto. 2100 reads unimpressive, but Giganoto gives 200 attack to ALL of your Jurrac monsters for EVERY Jurrac in your graveyard. This means your entire deck of Normal Summons suddenly becomes unmatched in sheer power, and their effects become much more threatening. This also means the high-level Jurracs in the Main Deck become significantly less interesting; why would I bother Tribute Summoning a big monster, when my regular Normal Summons can outmuscle a Blue-Eyes White Dragon? Giganoto's power becomes especially apparent when you consider that you can summon more copies to double or even triple the attack bonus, causing your attack stats to balloon to ridiculous levels. If it CAN be destroyed by battle, it WILL be. The other two Jurrac Synchros are far less prominent, but still worth mentioning: Velphito's stats being the combined stats of its materials is pretty unimpressive, but its ability to clear face-down monsters without worrying about flip effects or battle immunity is nice, and Meteor is a Black Rose Dragon that gives you a free monster back, which has to be a Tuner, but remember that Aeolo can trade itself for any level 4 or lower Jurrac in your graveyard, so you can bring back a Guaiba to resume your onslaught of aggression. If you believe there's only one way to duel, and that's with power, then Jurrac is the deck for you. Here's the list: MONSTERS (20): Jurrac Aeolo x3 Jurrac Dino x2 Jurrac Gallim x2 Jurrac Guaiba x3 Jurrac Herra x1 Jurrac Iguanon x2 Jurrac Monoloph x3 Jurrac Ptera x1 Jurrac Velo x3 SPELLS (10): Dark Hole x1 Fossil Dig x3 Instant Fusion x1 Mind Control x1 Monster Reborn x1 Mystical Space Typhoon x2 One for One x1 TRAPS (10): Call of the Haunted x1 Dimensional Prison x2 Fossil Excavation x2 Mirror Force x1 Solemn Judgment x1 Solemn Warning x2 Torrential Tribute x1 EXTRA DECK: Pragtical x1 Ally of Justice Catastor x1 Black Rose Dragon x1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier x1 Goyo Guardian x1 Jurrac Giganoto x3 Jurrac Meteor x1 Jurrac Velphito x1 Red Dragon Archfiend x1 Red Nova Dragon x1 Scrap Dragon x1 Stardust Dragon x1 Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

Finally came conversations with Aporia and Paradox, which talked more about the power of hope and Duel Links being a nexus point for the Yu-Gi-Oh multiverse.
Aporia: Z-one... Z-one: Aporia...I thought Team 5Ds defeated you. Aporia: They did. Z-one...I...I believe in Team 5Ds. Z-one: ............ Aporia: This world is different than the one we were in. It’s a digital world known as Duel Links. After we were beaten, we revived in this world. Z-one: Aporia...What are you saying? Aporia: I’m saying that we lost. But even in the depths of despair, I never lost hope. Z-one, I want you to remember the hope you once had - the one you never let go of. Z-one: ........... Aporia: You sent me to New Domino City to create the Circuit and call forth the Ark Cradle. Then you sent Antinomy to help team 5Ds grow and complete the Circuit. But why did you erase Antinomy’s memories? That hindered your plans. It gave them the time to evolve to the point where they were able to defeat us. I believe it’s because this evolution is what you desired. because Team 5Ds has the potential to change the future of mankind. That is why you sent Antinomy to Yusei. You felt hope - no matter how small it was. You don’t need to end them. Believe in them. Z-one: ...Hope is an illusion. Aporia: Then why did you never let go of this illusion? I want you to remember why, Z-one! Z-one: That sounds like another way of saying that you want to Duel me - which I will if you so desire. I will bury you, Aporia. Aporia: I see a light within Team 5Ds. Their bond is the hope I’ve been seeking my entire life. As long as I have this hope, I can fight!
Paradox: Z-one. Z-one: Paradox...Why are you here? Paradox: I failed. The three legendary Duelists defeated me. Z-one: Your plan to eliminate Duel Monsters did not work... Paradox: But I learned something. Z-one, the history of this world is not the same as ours. Z-one: What? Paradox: There are points in the timeline where events diverge. Z-one: You speak of a multiverse. Paradox: Correct. This world is traveling on a path we know nothing about. I believe this world is the nexus of numerous multiverses. Z-one: Nexus? Paradox: There’s a world where Pegasus exists - and one where he doesn’t. But both worlds are here. Z-one: That’s preposterous... Paradox: It is crazy. But this is a world where contradiction is contradicted. Z-one, I told you that the history of this world is different than the one we know. That means the future of this world will also be different than the one we know. Z-one: Does that mean we fulfilled our mission? Paradox: The only way to know is to wait and see what kind of future they create. Z-one: That will take too long. Paradox: But Z-one...We’re already...Actually, there’s no need to bring that up right now. I don’t want to interfere with your plans. But I want to see where their future will lead. I guess I’m the biggest contradiction of all! How about we let a game of Duel Monsters decide what I do? Z-one: ......Very well, Paradox.

It’s Format Friday!
Good Morning, Duelists! It’s me, Luna, the Duel Reporter and it’s Friday, March 31, 2023! Today, I’d like to bring attention a way to play Yu-Gi-Oh that you might not have tried. As I’ve stated more than a few times in this blog, I think Yu-Gi-Oh is a fantastic game, and there’s a near infinite amount of ways to play it.
Well, today, I’d like to start with one of my favorites, it’s a Time Wizard format that is a bit under the radar. Allow me to introduce you to HAT Format.
What is HAT Format?
HAT Format is a Yu-Gi-Oh format based on the cards legal in early July, 2014, also meaning it’s Master Rule 2, meaning there are no Extra Monster Zones, the player going first gets to draw a card, their can only be one Field Spell at a time, and the latest product releases were Primal Origin and the Lightsworn Structure Deck.
The name HAT comes from one of the best decks in the format, Hand Artifact Traptrix, a powerful control deck that revolved around a completely reactionary control base, using Traptrix monsters to Xyz Summon and set Trap Holes, Fire Hand and Ice Hand to pop monsters and spell/traps respectively, and Artifacts, which can react on being destroyed to do a myriad of things, but, primarily stun a turn to summon monsters and destroy cards without targeting, which was a huge deal back in 2014.
That being said, HAT wasn’t the only good deck in HAT Format, as the format has a myriad of powerful decks in it! Infernity returns to the format as a strong DARK Xyz deck, Madolche and Evilswarm are powerful Rank 4 decks, Hieratic, Sylvan, and Mermail provide an easy way to climb into high level and high rank plays!
HAT Format mostly uses the April 2014 banlist, which can be found here: https://www.db.yugioh-card.com/yugiohdb/forbidden_limited.action?forbiddenLimitedDate=2014-04-01
Here are my personal decks, if you want to get a good starting place for HAT!
Hieratic Rulers
Here’s Hieratic Rulers, it’s a powerful combo deck that has a strong going first or second game that can build huge boards and occasionally OTK, depending on your build. I personally play mine as a toolbox of Dragon Ranks, but, I’ve played against a few people who play more into the Synchros, the Rank 6’s and the Rank 7’s.
Hieratic Dragons tribute each other to swarm and activate effects, and when they do get tributed, they summon a Normal Dragon from hand/deck/GY, making Synchro, Xyz and Dragon Ruler set ups easy!
Here’s the link to my deck on Dueling Nexus!
https://duelingnexus.com/editor/adb9eb06a0851be9d340bd4092a89372
Evilswarm
Evilswarm is a really fun, really strong control deck that revolves around using the Rank 4 toolbox as a control tool to limit and restrict your opponent’s resources as much as possible before swinging for the kill.
Here’s the link to my decklist on Dueling Nexus!
https://duelingnexus.com/editor/ffe142b8ddbb5657a8ad4d52753629be
I hope that this article has inspired some Duelists to check out HAT Format!

So I've made 4 decks on dueling nexus for Fan made Yu-gi-oh characters each from different eras in the Yugioh series. I've never really played Yugioh at all until recently so I'm not really good at this I used the yugioh wiki as a guideline to build these decks.
I mostly deal with fan-fiction and stuff like that and building these decks is just to see if these decks would be feasible since there are some amazing fan fictions out there with fan made cards and stuff but I wanted to keep these characters using cards and archetypes that already exist.
Ahmed is from the Duel Monster's era and is imagined to be like a cousin of sorts of Marik and Ishizu Ishtar and uses a Gravekeeper deck. His role is that the tomb keepers decided to keep an eye on the millennium puzzle and sent Ahmed and his family to Japan as spies/guardians.
Gang Jin is from the 5ds era, his story is that his parents were Korean tourists being involved in a big event shortly before the zero reverse happened with them being killed and him ending up in satellite. He was once part of the enforcers but is not a signer or dark signer having retired from dueling to help Martha out. He runs a scrap/ancient gear deck.
Fuku is from the Arc V era and was inspired by the bracelet girls after the war ended to become an entertainment duelist and runs a deck with Lunalight, Lyrilusc, Windwitch, and Melodious cards. She ha no relevance to the plot of arc v since she only became a duelist after the plot wrapped up.
Chika is from the Vrains era and also doesn't have any plot relevance working as a programmer and ethical hacker. She mostly duels as a hobby using a fire-fist deck.
The decks are available for anyone to use and I'd like to know what I could do to improve these decks. There are some cards that are on some banlists. so do with that information what you will.

Dogmatika Nexus
“Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect. You can target 4 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and/or Link Monsters in the GYs; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, banish them. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Special Summoned monster: Destroy all your opponent’s Attack Position monsters, then inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Link Monster destroyed by this effect.”
