This is definitely one for my Poorly Pretty Kitty's. Simply dab on anywhere your face needs a bit of TLC! 01 Daylight: an iridescent, universal shade. At its core, it has a creamy white pigmentation, but this can be blended down to get more of a clear iridescent look. Despite being the lightest shade, I think this is the one you need to be sparing with this shade because otherwise you will end up with a shiny, whited out complexion. 02 Sunrise: light pink and recommended for fair-medium skin tones. This shade had a much higher impact than I imagined, as it comes out slightly darker than it looks. Whilst it still remains a light pink, I'd describe it as a dark baby pink rather than just a pale pink tone. This means it won't disappear on darker skin but is still perfect for the lighter skin because it is a natural pink tone. 03 Sunset: a darker, bronze shade & recommended for darker skin tones. I could see this be mixed with bronzers to create a stunning all over, natural, sun-kissed look. Whilst it is recommended for darker skin, I think it'd work if you were to mix it with one of the other tones or apply it on top of an already bronzed complexion - particularly at the high-level points of the face where you want that light to bounce off. All 3 have the same shimmery pigmentation, which combined with the perfect, cooling, jelly-like texture/consistency, doesn't weigh down the skin, despite the huge impact it gave! Creating Clever Kitty's: The composition of these shimmering highlighters contains the latest craze ingredient, Hyaluronic acid. It's the potent ingredient often in Botox, anti ageing products & wounds/scars healing - this not only plumped my skin but took my it back in time before years of damage from chronic illness/medication. Who else is excited for #YSL upcoming launches? I believe some lucky regions already have these complexion enhancers. #jealous The Glowshot's are all named after different stages of the sun - from L to R you've got: 1 Sunlight (for all skin tones) 2.Sunrise (for light to medium skin tones) 3. Sunset (for darker skin tones). I can't wait to get my hands on 2 Sunrise! They are all supposed to have a light, silky, glossy, feeling to them and once applied they turn into a translucent veil, which attracts the light to them. Just like the original Touché Eclat! Oh and then you have the beautiful, limited edition, white Touché Eclat! I am a lover of the white highlighters, so this is perfect for me. It'll be great for sculpting and highlighting faces. Here's some new pictures + swatches from the entire YSL Touche Éclat collection! Finally got my hands on the correct foundation brush (left hand side in 1st pick), which, as I've explained in previous posts, wasn't being sent out correctly on launch. Shops were advertising the 01 Foundation Brush, but sending out the 02 Polisher Brush. The name advertised seemed to be a mash up of both the brush names because they have very similar names. You can see them side by side if you keep scrolling. Also, if you keep scrolling you will notice some shots in there of the 3rd Glow Shot Shade - Sunset - which is a bronzy shade (there's even a swatch of it in there). Who else is obsessed with the latest collection from YSL? 😻 It will be a fight between this cushion foundation & the Chanel one, as to which will get worn more this summer! I was a bit concerned this wouldn't match my complexion as I am normally a BR10. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how stunning this made my skin! It was perfect though & blended seamlessly, giving me a picture perfect glow - another great one for Poorly Pretty Kitty's, who have lost the glow in their skin & anyone in need of hydration. This foundation feels like it puts back years worth of lost goodness, as well as correcting years worn of damage. Yet it never weighs the skin down, or makes it feel greasy. I have sensitive, combination skin & this cushion foundation worked wonders. My skin felt more refreshed, looked more even & had a radiant glow. Plus the design is so cute! I love the crochet like net over the cushion. CREATING CLEVER KITTY'S: As you can see, the brush I have isn't the flat, black, foundation brush, pictured most places. It's still a new YSL release, but wasn't advertised correctly at launch. It seems there were meant to be 2 new brushes at launch, but as the names are so similar only one was advertised in most places (the flat one), despite the polisher brush you see here being sent out. I spoke to a few stockists who said the only brush they had in stock was the polisher one, but the information they'd had supplied was for the flat one.
