My piece for this year's @marchcapricekh features my boys Yozora,Magia,Aegis and my KHOC Rin "BingLong" Yukihiko, Inspired by RWBY with the colour palettes and firing flames on their eyes based on the Maidens. I'm really proud of this one as my first artwork for this amazing event!

Although ending where Sora loses was said to be created as something for players to watch even if they lose, Sora's crystallization might be a reminder of some kind to Yozora, due to it being in line with some goals of FF15/VS13.

In FF15 within the crystal exists a different realm where resides Bahamut, who doesn't appear in the main game until Noctis enters the crystal. What is similar to Bhunivelze, who by the time of FNC games is asleep in a crystal in realm of gods and in FF13 doesn't appear until awaken.

Aside from possibility of Noctis being given a Focus in VS13 to take part in Bhunivelze's awakening through other actions like characters were in FF13, which in FF15 might've been changed to Prophesy. He might've been requested in some way by Etro, as lyrics of "Somnus" refer to Bhunivelze "The God sleeps." Also lyrics of "Omnis Lacrima" repeat or rephase lines from "Somnus" "Our master has succumbed to endless sleep." Yozora being told to "Save Sora" might be analogous to either.

The situation of a character who Yozora might be reminded of through crystallized Sora, in KH terms might be compared to a mix of Riku being chosen as avatar by Jiminy's Journal, due to similarity with Hope being chosen as avatar by Bhunivelze. And Sora being asleep in a Pod while Namine fixes his memories, as his awakening has conditions like Bhunivelze's.

Back cover of VR game box might be adding to both through lines "That's the story of King of Truth," King of Truth≈King of Light≈God of Light, Bhunivelze might be called main character of FNC myth as it starts and ends with him. And "Reclaim your heart," which might be referencing FF15's slogan "Reclaim your throne." What in this case makes neither of these 2 lines from VR game box ultimately being about Yozora.

...Is Luxord Yozora's dad?

I was rewatching the old Versus XIII trailers, and I realized a lot when they got to the 2011 trailer, where the scene from KH3 remind is most clearly recreated.

The first thing I realized immediately is that, the line of Noctis's driver is basically the same in terms of meaning as what Yozora's driver says with Luxord's voice. "Impressive, is it not"? He wants Noctis to look out the window and see. The Shinjuku government building. Which is now, in this fictional setting, a royal palace, a citadel.

Its still the seat of power it is in real Japan, but. Now there's actually literally a seat. A throne.

In KH3, Luxord doesn't call Yozora "prince" before that, but. I didn't realize the similarity of the lines afterwards.

But, in the same trailer, after the scene with Noctis and Stella, at about 17 minutes and 30 seconds in that video, it shows Noctis's father, on his throne, and it says he'll be the last king, and I realized that. He looks the same as the driver? It's hard to tell, we don't get a close up on him at the same angle, and. I don't have any photoshop or image editing skills, so if any tumblr users could play with jpegs like dolls, to make a better comparison, that would help.

For people who only know Final Fantasy XV, this might be confusing because he doesn't look like Regis in that version, but. Regis actually got redesigned between Versus XIII and XV. I also don't know if he was named Regis, but. When they changed Versus into XV, Nomura says he redesigned Stella, and then when Tabata took over, they changed Stella's name to Luna, because there was a different story role.

In Versus XIII, the kings of Lucis were more like. A yakuza family. So Noctis's dad looked like. A mob boss. Slicked back hair and a dark suit. In XV, the kingdom of Lucis was more straightforwardly noble, politically, so he got changed to look more like a refined, elder statesman. Gray hair, a cape.

And, Luxord Kingdom Hearts doesn't look much like. Any version of Regis's design. Aside from having facial hair. And we see Yozora's driver has blond hair and. That is definitely Robin Atkin Downes doing the British accent he does for Luxord.

But. If the scene being recreated where Luxord drives Yozora is one where Noctis was being driven by his dad. Does that mean that. If Yozora is playing Noctis's role, that Luxord is playing. Regis's role?

...This is all moot if the driver for Noctis isn't actually Regis, I guess. But it looks so similar to me, and it's hard for me to tell.

The driver in Versus seems sorta playful and amused by Noctis's comment about the invasion, and "Noctis Oji" isn't the most respectful way to talk to a prince. There's no "sama" implying he's the driver's superior.

Noctis and Regis supposedly have a playful relationship, even in that version, so. I mean, maybe. Or maybe I'm reading too much into the facial expressions.

The car looks like the Regalia, which is Regis's car in XV, though my understanding is that the car got more important later, after Nomura left. Maybe it was just a car at this point.

The person Regis talks to later is probably Ravus/Lupis, who supposedly in the Versus version was chosen by a crystal/is a L'Cie, and wears a white sheet as a shroud. He's sick or whatever, and also maybe jealous of the Lucis family and working for Niflheim like Ravus in XV, unclear. But I don't think he's talking to Noctis, and telling him directly he'll never be king.

Hes not going to let Noctis be king, but it's supposedly an act of love.

...I don't know what it means for Luxord's character, if he's actually a king, or. I dunno, I guess a General or. An Admiral? A captain? If he's the superior of a. "Commander".

But looking at that trailer. It's interesting, that there's details, and how they might line up with the recreation in KH.

I doubt this is anything and I'm sure someone else has pointed this out, but in KH3, why does Verum Rex have 2 prices in the games store?

It's consistent too, the cover that's just the weapons is always listed at $69.98 and the cover of Yozora is $59.98 where ever you find them. There's nothing distinguishing either version other than the cover art, so it's weird to have them at different prices. Both tags say SALE on the red bar so it's not that one is on sale and the other isn't.

My first thought is the weapons cover is a newer deluxe/definitive version of the game, which would make it worth more and the Yozora cover is the base game maybe. Because over by the console display, there's only the version with the weapons that say NEW

But, you'd think there'd be something on the cover to denote that it's a deluxe or definitive rerelease.

The more funny though I had is that you pay an extra $10 to take Yozora off the cover art and nothing else is different. And honestly that's what I'm gonna choose to believe is true.

Just finished the dlc stuff because I was curious if EZ codes work on them (they do btw) and I noticed that between both endings Luxord only appears in the ending where Sora wins.

"Aegis, can we talk?" Yozora asked softly as he entered Aegis room. " What is it Yozora?" Aegis replied to his question, confused ."It's about you and your most recent mission from this week." Yozora answers Aegis's question. "Oh, right..." Aegis replied nervously as he looked away from Yozora and continued wrapping his wrist with a bandage."

I guess you don't want to talk about it right now, it is?" Yozora asked Aegis curiously. Aegis knows Yozora is worried about him, since he takes riskier missions than the other, all he wants is to keep everyone safe." Look, Yozora, I'm sorry for the-" Before he could finish his sentence, a sharp pain came around his body, causing him to sit down on the bed. " Aegis! Are you okay?" Yozora asked concerned for his lover as he ran to his bed to check on him. " I'm fine, it's just hurt a little bit," Aegis replied, weaker as Yozora checked his injuries. " Hurt a little bit? Aegis, are you kidding me?" Yozora replied, ignored.

" What do you want me to say, Yozora? I know that you've been worried about me lately since I woke up from my coma two months ago." Aegis softly said. Yozora remained silent for a few minutes until he saw a scar under Aegis's shirt, probably a new or old one. Aegis, knowing Yozora, looks at the scar on his shoulder. " Yozora? Are you okay?" Aegis asked Yozora with curiosity. "Huh? I-I'm fine, can you take off your shirt so I can examine your injuries." Yozora blushed command. " Sure, everything for you, commander." Aegis kindly replied to his lover as he took off his shirt to reveal a bunch of scars, from top to bottom. Yozora anxiously touched one of them, a large scar in the abdomen. " Aegis? I-I don't know how I could s-stop these s-stupid GIGAs from hurting y-you! If it w-worth for that, y-you could had d-died." Yozora slowly started sobbing uncontrollably as he finished his sentence.

Aegis felt his lover's words, and Yozora went through a lot in his life. Death, suffering, and this war against the organization behind the GIGAS are taking a toll on Yozora's well-being, since the GIGAS attack two months ago. As a response, Aegis hugs Yozora tightly, to come to Yozora's surprise." Listen, Yozora, that day when the GIGAS attacked wasn't your fault, it's their fault that you have to suffer like this for a long time. All I did was protect you and the other from them, but as a consequence, I got badly injured and fell into a coma for a month, all it was darkness in my deep sleep, but when I wake up, you were there in my side of the hospital bed, my bright light." Aegis peacefully told Yozora this. Yozora stopped crying by that point.

" I-I'm sorry, Aegis, I just want to keep you and everyone else safe, but I'm actually causing problems for the people around me, including you. Do you forgive me?" Yozora asked Aegis anxiously. "Of course, my love, all that matters is your well-being, based on the stories that Magia and Rin told me when I woke up did spark my concern for you." Aegis jokingly replied. " I kinda know that one coming from him." Yozora sighs at the plan." Right.. It's getting late now, you should go to bed, we'll have a lot tomorrow." Aegis replied."Yeah, you're right, but I don't want to sleep by myself tonight, so can I sleep with you?" Yozora asked optimistically.

" Sure, why not my love, plus I do need someone to sleep with," Aegis kindly replied as he and Yozora went to bed, comforting each other with kisses and cubbies."Good night Yozora." Aegis softly said. " Good night, Aegis." Yozora said back as he fell asleep," Don't worry, my love, everything will be alright." Aegis peacefully said as he softly kissed Yozora on the forehead, and he fell asleep as well. Two lovers enjoyed each other's company throughout the night and they promised that everything will be alright.
