drew this back in 2021, to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of our dnd campaign! started off originally as a goofy sketch just to work out the truly insane height range of our party, but then it spiraled quickly into a full-fledged party lineup! they make my heart so warm ;0;

so much has changed since then, LEAST of which being that we're no longer level 13... time truly flies!!!

Evolution of Yoyola Silang Leagallow Look how much she's grown! I wanted to showcase Yoyo's journey throughout the Skull Buddies campaign, and the various outfits she accumulated and spells she can cast. We've got Wall of Fire, Scrying, her custom spell Leagallow's Pyromancy, and Crown of Stars. As of posting this, the Skull Buddies defeated Tiamat and now we get to wait and do and epilogue episode. It's still surreal that the campaign is over. I'm gonna miss this Pocket Wizard

summer of 2021 dnd doodles!!

we took a long hiatus over that summer, but in lieu of actual sessions, we ended up doing a HEAP of text-based RP over discord! doodled these in the midst of some of those hahaaa

featuring: Roxy bickering with her sister/mom-clone Melody, Melody being Herself, Roxy having Gay Epiphanies, and a sleep-deprived Yoyo working on writing her own spell

featuring: Roxy's ex gf being so super completely jazzed to see her after being ghosted for like 3 years, yoyo struggling with pineapple-shaped pool floaties, shiney the hairdresser, yoyo being Repressed, the insane ping-pong robot our ranger Bowen defeated in order to become the Pong Champ, and a cross-stitch design of a quote from when we were trapped in an interdimensional cube dungeon. whoops!

The Three Flames Flare Siram, Cecilia "Kee" David, and Yoyola Silang Leagallow all have two things in common - all three of them have some sort of fire motif, and all three of them are loosely based off of me in some way. Two of them are Dnd characters, two of them are dragons, and two of them are explicitly Filipino. It's fun to draw them all together to spot their similarities and differences. This was also a practice piece for me for hair and clothes animation both traditional and rigged. Also thanks @skullymingo for teaching me some comp for this shot!

It's the Skull Buddies! It's been a long time comin' for me to actually make a lineup of this party. The year and a half of playing this campaign has been amazing! I can't wait to see what's coming up next after we got a major lore drop a few games ago Players I can tag - @skullymingo

Magic component craft day! A statuette of yourself carved from ivory and decorated with gems is a recipe for me to make some Yoyo art, especially since she can just make it herself. And that she did! It's good enough for someone with no art background. Even has a little hood! I think she wishes she made the face a little better

Changing up the format for this year, and apparently the theme this year is just stand there with a smug grin. 

Lots of Dnd related ones this year, a few new OCs, and wow look! That’s my face! That’s a first in these but half of that picture technically counts. But really this year turned out pretty good. Strangely, the because of working from home I got the chance to do a lot of these drawings from my work citiqu. It really helped me to actually create artwork and just have a steady stream of one project or another. It was an interesting change of pace and now I can’t wait to see what I create next year!

I've been playin' Dnd for 6 years now and have accumulated quite the cast of characters. I know they'll be more in the future, but for now I felt it'd be fun to make an art piece to highlight who I've got so far, plus give a little timeline of how I got here and the friends I've played with along the way! I've had a blast with this Dnd journey and I'm excited to see what other characters I'm gonna make next

- May 2021 - Cozrell, stage name Maple Mouth the Half Orc Sorcerer

- May 2021- NPC Dnd Derek! Only this time he's a Tiefling and hugely leveled up!
