I currently have 700+ followers. And I will urge all of you to read about what is happening in Bangladesh. What has happened in Bangladesh. I am adding irrelevant tags of the fandoms I follow to garner more attention. I apologize in advance.
The government of Bangladesh killed pressumably 950+ people, innocent people, students, all because they demanded a system that will give them government jobs based on merit rather than quota. To suppress the students Sheikh Hasina and its government imposed 5 days of total internet blackout. While imposing this blackout they killed off anyone of the streets. They killed people from helicopters by shooting and throwing grenades. Many kids died in their own homes as the bullet shot them through their window.
Sheikh Hasina and its police took away all the dead bodies and the death registries from the hospital. The official death toll is 200. But various journalistic and medical staff sources confirm the death toll is over 950 in Dhaka alone.
That monster of a PM didn't acknowledge the death of the students. Instead she is crying over the infrastructure vandalism. I request you, rise up and speak out about this. Educate yourself and let other people know. The internet blackout have suppressed the truth at large. The Bangladeshi people are in deep surveillance and the government have made 2000+ arrests on false charges just because they have shared the Information. There is mass fear mongering. I know most of you people are not Bangladeshis and that's why you need to help us and speak up about it. Join your local protests, share the news in your social media, twitter Instagram. I beg you, don't let my people's murderers get away with it. Don't let my people's death be forgotten.
I am attaching some links for you to understand the horror of it all.
This Facebook page Bringing justice to you has documented all the horrors and the massacres that happened on Bangladeshi people. TW : all kinds of blood, gore, death bodies, every single horrible things imaginable but shows what went down.

AFTER
2nd internet connection shut down and a long march to dhaka , resulted in the Hasina Govt to step down and Hasina fled from Bangladesh on 5 August.
if someone says hindu or any other religion or it's people are being harassed by bd's people, it's not true. those trying to do these destructive works are a part of a larger internal system. we, the civilians want peace within community and we are all one and equal.
in fact students are protecting the sacred places such as mondirs

These are shotgun rounds containing metal pellets
Tumblr media
These shotguns can either be loaded with rubber bullets or the aforementioned pellet filled rounds, here's a demonstration:
youtube
And I'm sure if you know how awful rubber bullets are, which still have a metal core, you can surely imagine the impact if those pellet rounds get used on short distance. It's awful

Divine play in Treta Yug
In Treta Yug, Kabir Sahib Ji manifested as Muninder Rishi, gave shelter to Nal-Neel, and when it was the turn of Lord Ram to rescue Sita Ji from Ravan's captivity, the stones in the water floated to build a bridge over the sea with the blessings of the Supreme God Kabir Ji Himself in the form of Rishi Muninder.

the fact that my mom, who usually know about events happening way before i do, didn't even hear a scrap of murmur about this happening, is absolutely ridiculous.
all those useful idiots that do not cry out when hindus face genocide from radical islamists only show that they do not care about oppressed, only about demonising jews.
i do not know how to help hindus in bangladesh, i hope i knew. if anyone knows, please reblog this post with the links and advice.
the hindus were by our side when we're being attacked, it's time to step up to help them

The Concert for Bangladesh trailer
Today it was announced that the legendary 1971 benefit concert The Concert for Bangladesh put on by George Harrison and Friends will be available on digital streaming platforms for the first time. If you want to purchase or stream it, all proceeds go to UNICEF.
Here is the press release:
The Concert for Bangladesh was the first major music benefit of its kind. Two sold out concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden brought together an extraordinary assemblage of major artists collaborating for a common humanitarian goal – setting the precedent that music could be used to serve a higher cause.
With its triple album boxset and feature film, The Concert for Bangladesh has generated millions of dollars for UNICEF and raised awareness for the organization around the world. To quote the former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, “George and his friends were pioneers.”
By August 1971, when George Harrison, Ravi Shankar & friends took the stage to play The Concert for Bangladesh, 10 million East Pakistani refugees had fled over the border into India, facing significant challenges, including the threat of hunger and disease. Up to that point, little public attention had been drawn to the crisis in East Pakistan/Bangladesh. Few people outside the region were aware of what was happening to these refugees or how to help those affected.
George organized the two groundbreaking concerts to direct global attention to the unfolding humanitarian crisis and raise funds for UNICEF’s work with the refugees. He assembled an all-star line-up of fellow artists including Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell, Billy Preston, and, of course, Ravi Shankar:
“The musicians were great. I mean they completely put down their own egos to play together and to do something because the whole vibe of that concert was that it was something bigger than the lot of us.” – George Harrison
Now, over 50 years later, children in Bangladesh continue to face risks from ongoing violence and unrest. But UNICEF's presence remains – ensuring every child is healthy and protected – and The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF continues the concert's legacy by providing support for critical UNICEF programs not only in Bangladesh, but anywhere children are in need.
The album is packed with astonishing performances and makes for a rousing listening experience. The historic collection, now celebrating over 50 years, also contains a bonus track – the original studio version of George’s song “Bangla Desh”, released as a single in July 1971.
All net proceeds (after taxes), will be donated to the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. For more information visit www.georgeharrisonfundforunicef.org. The U.S. Fund for UNICEF does not endorse any brand or product.
Just a few months ago, I got the 2005 double CD remastered edition. Great show with some legendary performances.
