It’s a snowman ⛄️ and coffee ☕️ kind of afternoon. Some days, we wake up with a to-do list a mile long, but something inside is telling us to throw that list out the window. Today was that day for me. . . It’s easy to let the to-do list overrule. It took me a long time to realize that the more I resisted the downtime, the harder it became to getting the to-dos done. Has this ever happened to you, too? . . What I have come to know is this: my energy is worthy of rest and play. We know there’s someone else now on the receiving end of those texts and calls. We know your time and attention is going somewhere, just not to us. We know when we’re being juggled. All though today I felt very emotional thinking of my friend @tawshadawn and that tomorrow she will be carrying on her fight when she restarts her chemotherapy after finding out her cancer has returned.
