#literally the matrix expressed this very explicitly #the point of the agents was to represent how even the kindest face can turn into something dangerous to you once they find out about #your trabsfemininity like #it's a pretty simple and understandable idea #it's not self harm to have the internal conflict of wanting to be complimented but not being able to be sure if that compliment means safety #all the dolls reacting to this so harshly all seem to be... idk i don't wanna say or incur the wrath of their self projections #but like.. privileged ass take what element of society keeps you inherently safe that you feel threatened when you're made aware of this
