i dont follow u here but i followed u back before downsizin , but i like to come to ur blog to get other perspectives when my dash is being dramatic, and its always VERY good points abt VERY true things, like recently with wilbur - not defending him but pointing out both the fixation on him as 'evil' rather than uplifting shubble, and the subsequent dehumanization- i dont get tons of it on my dash but get enough to be glad to have somewhere with . a different perspective so I dont get stuck in the gunk of fandom . and then i saw ppl talking abt qsmp melting, so i rolled by here to see an Actual perspective instead of . the wider fandom , and its still banger points - the double standards and the very very valid question.of . who the hell are these 'higher ups' . this is quackitys smp . who is 'actually' in charge.? and i didnt hear ANYTHING abt 'we need money or qsmp will be shut down' bc that is an absolutely RANCID thing to say and im gonna go . look into where that statement is from lol to see how sugarcoated or whatever it is (if u have like a source or whatever ? like did someone stream or post ? ill hunt it down either way lol) and i cant . HELLO.... so I want to be clear this is what I was referencing:

it's not a direct 'give us money or we shut down' but I've already seen people begging Q to sell more qsmp merch so they can support the server which is exactly what I knew was going to happen lol. 'if I don't have money to cover the project the project will end' is a very sensible approach (how else do you want to run a project after all? by not paying the people lol?) but it's also a clear signal to the fanbase, fully conscious or not.

and I am not saying there's anything wrong with wanting to support the project you're passionate about as a fan! but there is something to be said about the business decisions being made in the quackland, considering there's already issues with current merch he's selling never being delivered and the fact that, well, again. if he never noticed people working for him were not compensated AND apparently he said that he's already losing money on the qsmp (I don't have direct source for this one I heard this from my friends)...well. where's the money going man. are people scamming you behind your back, are you this negligent to not know what's going on in your own companies, or are you lying to everyone to cover your own ass?

here's the thing. q is evidently under stupid amounts of stress and we have seen this ever since he started ghosting everyone and pivoted the qsmp from the original vision as presented to us in the beautifully animated intro video to the low quality 'hi we're a worldwide server now' announcement. we don't know why that is, despite the obvious things we can assume. and on a human level I am concerned for him. on any other level than that, well, I just have to ask WHAT IN THE FRESHEST OF HELLS WERE YOU DOING THIS WHOLE YEAR TO LET THINGS COME TO THIS YOU POOR EXCUSE OF A BUSINESSMAN.

This mf has the audacity to pretend to agree that AI “art” is wrong, then STILL is using AI to generate images of his ocs. I posted the quote of Araki condemning AI “art” and this fucking guy has the audacity to like it, even tho I had him in mind while posting it.

I was like “yk, I havent seen this guy’s story in a while because it’s 100% hateful, maybe I should check to see if he still does.” The most recent one I could find was from September 8th in a highlight abt ocs, but that’s not to say he hasn’t used it since and just didn’t save it to highlight. Make of that what you will, but I choose to believe he’s still using AI. I remember once I even had a convo telling him to stop using AI, but bro just went “ok” and still used AI BRUH🗿

But guess what else I saw: he likes Jimmy 😭😭😭 this was 100% expected tho. He once changed his pfp to Curly and i was like “your ass is NOT Curly ur Jimmy bro.” He posted 3 whole stories abt the community judging ppl that like Jimmy. He compared it to how ppl like DIO and said its bc he has pretty privilege and not Jimmy and thats why ppl judge them. I won’t lie; yes, most ppl like DIO bc hes pretty and charming, but at least he has some types of redeeming qualities. Jimmy is just 100% asshole. Every scene you see of him is he’s being a jerk or a fuck up that says “i can fix this” but actually can’t. Mouthwashing is SO un-nuanced in the way you’re supposed to hate Jimmy, it’s amazing rlly. We’re not even shown much of his personal life or other aspects of his personality; unlike other antagonists like Kira or Diavolo.

Now, am I gonna throw rocks at your window for liking Jimmy? No. Do what you want. But, i will psychoanalyze you and conclude that you like him either for the abusive dynamic or you like him bc he’s like you. This guy 110% likes Jimmy bc he’s relatable.

Simply looking at it face value right now, the way this guy is so OBSESSED with other people is insane. 90% of my conversations w this guy has been bruja arianna, snerufu, antis, women who make self insert ocs, or his arch nemesis Fay that he just can’t stop stalking. It reminds me of how Jimmy was obsessed and jealous of Curly’s success. He is also negative all the time. Even when making a joke, the punchline is always someone else or a cheap horny joke that comes across as a 7th grader. It reminds me of how Jimmy HAD to take Curly saying “i want more in life” the wrong way. It even manifests in the way bro had Curly as his pfp; because he wants to be like Curly.

We met from me shitting on bruja arianna. My criticism came from logic and a want to make change in the community, but it’s clear now that his criticism comes from hate and insecurity. He’s so passionate about hate, i think it’s the only thing he’s passionate about. He’s not even passionate enough about his own ocs to draw them himself. He’s so hateful he makes fun of women in the fandom for damn near anything they do, as if millions of ppl don’t also see him as a woman and as if he never lived as a woman. Then he hides all of his edginess as “im French lol we’re just angry :p” be so serious

His only other characteristic is being hypocritical. This guy “doesn’t deserve hate” but is constantly negative all the time. This guys gets upset at shit on a screen just to search it up more. This guy HATES bruja arianna for mocking trans men, yet all his male ocs are “androgynous” no mf they look like girls.

Chat, I don’t care anymore about being stalked. I’m stronger now. I have better things to worry about now that I have a life. I don’t care if he talks a lot of shit nor do I care if he “exposes” me for some made up bs. He can have a tantrum all he wants; i have better things to care about

hii it's unorcadox ^_^ how does your editing process work!!! like how do you choose what images to use, how to combine them, how to get the right "feel" etc. 👀 very curious abt ur answer

Damn, great question! Also, love your edits, Orca! (also a bit jelous abt your productivity, wish i had so many great ideas) So i present to you: a wall of text! (cw really long!)

So, many people see a great base image and then immideately get an idea of what they wanna do w/ it. I'm not like that, i ususally have an idea of an edit in mind, and then search for sometimes a few hours for a base image that may work. I have a whole tutorial-worthy process of how i always find what i need, but i digress… Most of the times, tho, i get something better than what i had in mind. I love this process, cause it's like tresure hunting for me. (ofc it's not always like that, just most of the time. Since i have a giant collection of base images i may sometimes use them). I choose my images based on the mood i wanna portray. It's always supposed to be looking kinda dreamlike and unreal, but it can also be creepy, dark, bright, etc.

When editing my favourite style of edits - fake dreamlike places - I try to make them look as real as possible, regarding color, lighting, etc, while still making them look blatantly fake regarding the composition, subject matter, etc. Ofc i don't try to perfect my lighting, since it can take away the feeling i strive for, so it's kinda based on my own feelings idk. I get really inspired by the surrealists' painting. Artists like Brent Wong, for example. Liminal spaces are already weird, so why not make them even weirder, by making the geometry non-Euclidean and subject matter impossible in the real world. Also unlike surrealist painters, i have a luxiry of making the scene like "more real" by combining actual photos in photoshop. Ofc people have been making surreal art w/ 3d programs forever now, but it still doesn't give off the same feeling real picture does, yk.

Uhh... what was i talking about... Ah, yes! I firstly make a collage, that i have in mind by this point, and sometimes it just... doesn't work out! i had discarded so many great ideas, cause they weren't turning out good. But if it works, i add shadows and highlights. I look at real liminal space photos and try to really analyze them. Like, what makes them work? the color, the quality, the blurriness? Then i add effects that works to my edit. Every edit needs it's own level of compression, sharpness, blurriness... You just gotta feel it.

Really important step. I leave my edit for a few hours, so i forget how it looks, and then return later. All the imperfections, things that don't work, etc pop out immediately. I read somewhere that the process of creating and the process of analyzing are two completely different things, and i couldn't agree more. It's annoying when you have a finished edit, and you really wanna show it to the world, but you have to wait... But it's better, than being embarrassed later that you posted something unfinished and you can't fix it now.

Ofc i make text edits as well, but they basically serve the same purpose and not that interesting to describe, cause process is the same just with a few steps skipped.

There wasn't such question, but i still wanna talk about it, cause it kinda answers "how do you get the right feel". Well, why do i make edits? Well, the world sucks ass (i don't agree w/ this statement for the most part, like friends are great, nature is buitifull, but then there are parts that just... yk...) and for me weirdcore is a sort of an escapism. I can't traverse dreamworlds mindlessly, alone or come across magical events in real world, sadly. But I can make them however i would like them to look and feel, with my characters (like deer), and my own thoughts about them, that no one except me knows. It's kinda like i actually've been there, and i took a picture. Or hell, maybe i've never been here myself, but those deer were, or invisible creatures, that are not in the shot. And i know them personally, cause i made them, they are a part of myself! And it really helps, and i'm so glad these pictures resonate with so many more people here too! I had been making these pictures without realising why for a year. I had some thoughts and heard dozens of opinins of other pople, but i hadn't had a full picture. And then a video by SuperEyePatchWolf about liminal spaces comes out, and i get it now, it was really eye opening, for me at least. It explains really well why we love unreality so much.

Okay, okay, okay. Can I just say I'm enjoying this very much? Currently sick and this is just making me smile. I can tell you're very passionate about whatever fic you're writing.

Now to answer your question!

I adore both boys! Their relationship is one of the first I took to in canon because they just vibed well to me and what worked is because how they are as individuals.

Both are a strong 9 for me.

With Kirishima, I find he's just one of the characters that you can't really hate because he's just so him!! He's such a sweet guy, always there for people, does his best, so manly! That's probably one of my favorite gags in BNHA is how he will anything is manly, I admire that, we need more Kirishima's in this world. There's the fact he's thick-skinned. Literally and metaphorically. Perfect against someone like Bakugou. What I love about that detail most is how he became that way. His growth from middle school and onward is just beautiful to me.

Also, I want to bring up character design here about him. Love how he looks like the typical protagonist with his spiky red hair and even got the personality, but nope! Ha ha! Tricked! It's actually the green one here with the freckles. And his black hair from middle school. I don't know why, but I like it. His hair being down is nice really.

Now onto Bakugou! He is an ass, yes, but that was just a telltale sign to me that "He's gonna get hit with that CD" and what do you know! He got hit with that character development. And I love that. What I love about it is how it's not forced on him by others, like no one really went "dude, you need to change". Nah, over through the story, he makes his own self-reflections which is influenced by the events he went through and how others act around and towards him. Love that he has moments of vulnerability where he cries. We all need to cry sometime. And the apology scene. Oh my gosh, that's my favorite Bakugou moment right there. He pours his heart out and apologizes to Midoriya and does this by himself. No one really told him that he to do that, to apologize, but he does so on his own in front of the others and that's rare for Bakugou to show emotion like that in front everyone else.

And I like that even after that, he's still Bakugou. I know some people expected him to be "nicer" but I didn't and honestly did not care for that if he was because he wouldn't be Bakugou if he was. He recognized his faults and expressed it and that's enough for me.

And that skull shirt. Every time I see that I'm just reminded how I would wear this black skull shirt a lot during my high school years.

i had a hellish day yesterday from near beginning to end with v brief respites in between to laugh at stupid things,, but it started with someone i don't rly keep in contact with anymore messaging me a voiceclip of me as a minor saying something Completely innocuous like "[redacted], i love you!" and it. flipped me the fuck out because the day before that happened, i was talking to my friends abt sexual predators / groomers lurking around in the online communities we grew up in as unsupervised children with access to the internet... i told this person why even though im sure they meant no harm that it frightened the fuck out me and asked them to delete it + blocked them after. no correlation to what im about to vent about except the fact that i feel like i'm ........ outrunning scooby doo villains and people who dont understand boundaries

and after that i had to drag my ass to another urgent care / doc in the box place to get a steroid shot + more antibiotics because this sinus infection has been taking it's SWEET ass time to clear out and i've been getting so frustrated with myself + my body for not healing as fast as i need or want it to that i've been. very snappy and irritable as a result of the frustration, apologizing for the snappiness, as well as apologizing for not being able to keep up with housework and thanking my parents profusely for helping me certain things. anyway uh ,, i got my dad to take me to the urgent care and bc my mom didn't go with us, i told her what happened during the office visit and. the doctor listened to me breathe, asked if i was a smoker and i was like.. "no..." and then automatically filled in the blanks for me with, "but you live with ppl that do?" so i was like.

yeah ........ and was then told that can make a person more prone to sinus infections. which, like yeah, definitely but the fact that i have an autoimmune disease doesn't help. fast forward to me repeating this, because it's what i was told and im . communicating how i could get better and my mom is immediately like, "oh, so because ur brother and i smoke, that's why ur not better?" so i was immediately like. uhm. no! not what i said. but it sure is an irritant and if you want to take my words wildly out of context that's fine. it could be guilt manifesting itself v inappropriately but as soon as that happened my blood ran cold and i was like .. haha ...... oh Fuck.

like i felt like i had dug myself a hole bigger than the one i'm trying to pull myself out of because. yea ...... i don't , even have the energy to repeat myself when u cut me off much less fucking reason with you. i was told, "you aren't the only person whose sick" and was like. yes . i get that. that's why the fact that i'm not better is feeding into my stress!!! and the fact that i can't get u to do anything for me or put effort into understanding that my body functions differently than yours even tho u gave me one half of my immune system makes me feel even Sicker and even more unable to rest. it's like ... truly the most exasperating feeling when *you're* feeling this frustrated with yourself and body, u can feel ur own patience running out so the possibility of someone outside of yourself having more understanding with you or inconvenience themselves to help you just feels like. a fucking impossible feat to accomplish.

it's rly been that way since the pandemic started, just this feeling of people not willing to make what seems like a minuscule sacrifice to help increase ur quality of life. i know this will all pass but it's been 2 weeks + just me reaching my boiling point after feeling so Physically terrible, and after that convo with my mom i just cried... and i told my friend, it's not like she never acknowledges what she does or says to me isn't fucked up or never shows remorse. she does, it's just such a disproportionate response that i have No fucking idea what to do with it........ i.e "i did x so you don't have to" and i'm just like. huh... and you know instinctively know, oh, this is all i'm gonna get, so i've gotta move on.

          bill:       i  think  that...  richie,  like  much  of  the  losers  club,  has  a  lot  of  respect  and  admiration  for  bill.  especially  when  they’re  just  kids.  this  is  pretty  apparent  in  all  medias,  where  richie  will  say  something  a  bit  too  off-beat  and  then  bill  will  give  him  one  look  and  richie  says  something  like  ‘sorry  bill.  she’s  missing’  which  is  a  way  he  backs  down  to  almost  no  one  else.  anyway.......i  think  that  there  is  also  truth  in  the  fact  that  he  hates  it  when  bill  drags  them  around  on  what  richie  perceives  to  be  like...  some  big  crusade  that  a)  won’t  bring  back  georgie  and  b)  might  get  one  of  their  friends  killed.  i  often  think  of  richie  in  the  lancer  trope,  especially  next  to  bill,  and  therefore  i  think  they  provide  each  other  with  good  character  foils.  so  anyway,  richie  hates  when  he  perceives  bill  being  blind  to  a  situation’s  ramifications.  at  the  same  time,  he  still  really  admires  how  much  of  a  natural  leader  bill  is  and  how  brave  he  is  without...  really  having  to  “try”,  which  is  what  richie  is  always  doing  a  lot  of.  and  anyway,  richie  has  and  will  follow  bill  to  the  end  of  the  stupid  earth.

          bev:       richie  thinks  bev  is  simply  the  coolest.  he  admires  her  for  being  tough  and  funny,  and  probably  envies  both  those  things,  as  these  are  qualities  that  glow  off  her  pretty  genuinely.  bev  could  have  a  big  bruise  up  the  side  of  her  face  and  she  might  explain  it  off  as  no  big  thing.  bev  is  always  like,  brave  enough  to  do  the  right  thing.  and  anyway,  she  tolerates  a  lot  of  his  nonsense  and  has  the  sense  of  humour  to  play  along  with  him  sometimes,  and  he  trusts  her  in  a  unique  kind  of  way...  like  a  lil  nod  of  understanding  between  them.  like  she  knows  what  he’s  really  saying  under  a  joke.  like  if  she  knew  a  secret  of  his  it  was  safe  with  her.  in  terms  of  what  annoys  him,  i  don’t  think  there  is  a  substantial  thing  he’d  point  to.  when  he’s  a  kid  he  gets  mildly  snotty  about  her  natural  aptitude  at  like,  all  the  cool  stuff  (me  crying  thinking  abt  when  she  showed  him  all  the  yo-yo  tricks).  but  that  quickly  just  turns  into  admiration  as  well,  like  if  he  thinks  someone  is  cool  without  strings  attached  it’s  bev.

          eddie:       okay  well  these  two  met  and  became  elderly  florida  marrieds  almost  instantly,  because  they  can  both  be  so  particular.  richie  is  never  not  rolling  his  eyes  at  eddie’s  neurotic  ass,  but  also  feels  genuinely  strongly  over  how  eddie  lets  his  mom  convince  him  that  all  this  shit  is  wrong  with  him.  the  eddie  from  the  book  and  miniseries  i  feel  is  a  lot  more  soft  spoken  as  well,  so  in  general  i  think  richie’s  biggest  point  of  contention  is  that  eddie  perceives  himself  as  fragile  and  sometimes  weak,  because  that’s  what  people  around  him  have  said  all  his  life.  but  richie  knows  he’s  not,  knows  he  can  be  brave  and  strong  and  keep  up  with  everyone  else,  and  that’s  also  what  he  admires  about  him.  i  also  think  that  eddie  is  his  favourite  person  to  banter  at.  both  general  iterations  of  eddie  can  effectively  clown  on  richie  and  he  simply  loves  when  someone  is  capable  of  shutting  him  down.  eddie  gets  40000  affectionatemean  nicknames  for  a  reason.  richie  vc:  asshole    (dreamy,  in  love)

          mike:       okay  so  mike  and  richie  don’t  get  enough  interactions  in  my  opinion  but  also  in  my  opinion,  richie  respects  mike  in  a  similar  way  he  respects  bill.  hasn’t  known  him  as  long,  but  mike  is  genuinely...  good  in  a  way  that  richie  simply  cannot  clown  on.  and  cannot  relate  to,  because  richie  considers  himself  very  selfish.  probably,  he  thinks  that  it  was  kinda  weird  for  mike  to  stay  in  stupid  derry  and  become  like,  history  expert  of  stupid  derry.  he  genuinely  hates  that  mike  thinks  he  and  any  of  them  have  any  responsibility  toward  stupid  derry,  and  anyone  living  in  it.  but  similarly  with  bill,  it  translates  into  why  he  admires  mike...  mike  just  has  this  hardworking  sense  of  responsibility  about  him,  people  like  mike  because  he’s  kind  and  well  spoken,  and  he  doesn’t  have  to  pretend  about  any  of  it.  i  think  he  has  complicated  feelings  toward  mike  for  a  little  bit  after  stan  and  eddie.  for  a  while  he  struggles  with  the  fact  that  mike  would  call  them  at  all,  and  put  everyone  in  danger  like  that.  but  he  comes  to  understand  why,  and  in  the  end  he  loves  mike  too,  and  can’t  hold  it  against  him.

          ben:       so  we  lightly  bully  ben  because  ben  will  let  you  do  it,  and  richie  is  a  bit  of  a  goon  sometimes  as  we  know.  however!  richie  i  think  really  likes  the  way  ben’s  mind  works,  in  terms  of  how  ben  sees  information  and  creates  from  his  mind  (specifically  how  impressed  he  is  with  ben  building  the  dam  in  the  stream  at  the  barrens.)  he  bitches  about  the  clubhouse  because  he  is  ,  a  bitch,  but  i  think  he’s  genuinely  very  impressed  and  maybe  a  little  jealous  that  ben  can...  think  in  such  an  organized  way?  richie  is  smart,  but  not  in  the  same  way  ben  is,  so  it  interests  him  that  ben  can  pull  a  blueprint  out  of  his  head  like  that.  i  think  he  mainly  hassles  ben  for  being  too  nice  to  people,  letting  them  walk  all  over  him.  richie  is  like.  no!  at  least  pretend  ur  confident!  stop  letting  people  talk  shit  to  u.  stop  letting  me  talk  shit  to  u.  you  know?  and  it’s  because  he  thinks  ben  genuinely  has  such  a  good  heart  and  he  doesn’t  deserve  to  be  walked  on.  

          stan:       stan  the  man  the  myth  the  legend.  richie  is  also  such  a  goon  to  stan  sometimes,  as  a  long  time  best  friend  and  someone  who  is  such  a  complete  foil  to  his  own  persona.  he  hassles  stan  constantly  for  being  so  prim  and  neat  and  booooorrrinnnnnggg!!!  but  in  truth,  he  has  so  much  love  for  stan,  who  will  always  take  responsibility,  who  sticks  with  them  even  when  he’s  the  only  sane  one  in  the  room,  and  even  when  he’s  scared.  there’s  a  time  as  adults,  when  stan  obviously  doesn’t  show  up  with  them,  where  he’s  really  mad  at  him.  richie  perceives  that  stan  dipped  out  on  them,  or  took  the  easy  way  out  of  their  fight.  and  it’s  really  hard  for  him  to  deal  with,  until  he  finally  can  accept  that  stan  did  what  he  did,  and  in  doing  it  thought  he  was  doing  right  by  the  rest  of  the  losers.  and  in  the  end  that’s  what  stan  was  always  trying  to  do.  he  admires  the  way  stan  thinks,  perceives  in  a  way  that  always  seemed  a  lot  older  and  wiser  than  any  of  them  as  kids.  stan  was  someone  who  could  be  super  pragmatic  in  any  given  situation.  also  one  of  the  only  people  that  can  shut  richie  down  effectively.  he  bullies  stan  because  stan  just  tolerates  him  and  isn’t  even  affected,  but  hey  look.  he  loves  stanley.

so i have a lot of books on them but i’ll stick to recommending these first four as essentials; & then the next four are photo books so not biography but they do have text within, some more than others, & overall are beautifully done. (and all of the bio’s have picture sections as well!)

getting high (paolo hewitt) - indisputable #1 oasis bio. covers the definitely maybe & wtsmg tours. paolo was a friend of theirs so it is written from more of an insider’s view (he’s a music journalist) and yeah it just is so fucking good. reading this book gives a huge insight into liam & noels relationship especially and just how intertwined they were back then, as well as liam’s vulnerability despite his Tough Guy image. also it starts with their mother’s childhood in ireland and just UGH its so good You must read this book

forever the people (paolo hewitt) - shorter and less in depth than the first but this one covers the be here now tour. again more of the same “insider” look. it was like 4 years ago i bought it but i do think it was like $70 or some crazy amount... much rarer than other books it seems.. but yea

what’s the story (iain robertson) - ok so above all else this one wins worst book cover award but also the funniest thing ever. i actually used to have a different edition with a chill blue cover but lost it and maybe it was worth it just to have this one.. F**k me, what a gig... anyway, this is an odd book. it’s absolutely worth a read, has a shit ton of great stories... but it is also really up its own ass and robertson clearly thinks he is some sort of literary magician or something so it can be really insufferable and dramatic at times. but still worth it for sure.

brothers: from childhood to oasis (terry christian & paul gallagher) - of course! if you needed young gallagher anecdotes look no further. pretty straightforward. Liam used to breakdance and graffiti and his tag was “Galli”

oasis. definitely (tim abbot) - short and sweet

oasis: a year on the road (p.slatz) - i hate to promo this bc he is the reason my old blog was deleted but it is really nice sooo

supersonic: the oasis photographs (michael spencer jones) - BEST oasis photo book, its enormous and super high quality

was there then (jill furmanovsky) - my other fav oasis photographer, highly recommend

...and ok so tbh i dont own a copy of it buuuut oasis: the truth by tony mccaroll is also alright (i found it on pdf). but it is, in my opinion, at times even harder to read than the iain robertson book, just because tony’s grudge against noel is SO huge and he’s not a particularily good writer so it just is.. annoying.. it’s like whiny almost and just. I’m no Tony fan lol. but apart from all the Waahhh-Poor-Me it’s worth a read for all the old oasis memories. (just as an example of his whining, the original title of this book was, no joke: “The Noel Truth Is Nothing Like The Whole Truth”. like ok dude go sit down)

Ok hang on. Everyones going crazy with this move. Any changes will probs be negligible. CW doesnt have some team of writers with quotas to fulfill. Every show has their own production and team behind it. Obvi some exec crossover with the arrowverse, but point stands that each show has made their own choices/mistakes/whatever anyones opinion of them is. Unless GJ leaves I dont see any major story style changes (any changes to staff writers is normal, they can come and go between seasons). 1/5

As far as budget/aesthetic goes it’s not like stargirl (or any other show) uses cameras/lights that are any different or more $$$ than “CW shows”. Everyone rents the same type of expensive ass cameras (arri alexas, red 1s, etc etc). It’s how they’re used by the DOPs and directors—a specific “look” that’s designed and agreed upon—and then how they’re cut in post. Those ppl are not going anywhere (and tbh there are already some that have worked on stargirl that also worked on cw shows before). 2/5

Costumes! Are already made so there should be no worry about that (and imo there have been better “cw” costumes than wildcats cheekbone mask and beths potato sack for example—stargirl and hourmans are great tho). Location/sets is also a funny one bc first of all sg shoots in ATL. A very tax friendly place to film and where a few other cw shows already film as well. And I’m pretty sure stargirl has even reused some old sets from when vampire diaries filmed there (not 100% on that tidbit tho). 3/5

The only thing I see being affected are CGI and possibly cast. And cgi is more of a time issue than just budget. Other CW shows have had super tight shooting to air schedules which gives post less time to work. Plus if theres more episodes, also less time (but there are cw shows with ~15 eps so I don’t see that changing either!). Cast would be the two big names in Courts parents. But even then I think itll be ok. We arent privy to those negotiations but looking at supergirl for example. 4/5
