Got7's Scenario of...Tying Your Shoe

While waiting for the other members to find him, he notices that a pregnant woman is struggling to tie her shoe.

a/n: damn! it's been a while huh? i have missed writing for my guys and i thought it was time to show some love. i hope you enjoy this first installment of got7's social experiment.

Mark - Mark is sitting outside, typing away on his phone to pass the time while he waits on his group mates to join him. While waiting he hears a loud sigh, soon followed by a grunt and when he looks up from his phone, Mark’s eyes widen. Standing a few feet away from him, you are struggling to tie your shoe. Your very pregnant belly makes it hard to grab yet alone tie your shoe strings. 

Fearing that you might topple over head first, Mark stands up and rushes over. He kneels down, telling that he can tie your shoe and he will even double knot it, so that it doesn’t come undone again. He takes his time, making sure your shoe isn’t too loose or tight before he reties the other shoe to match. Standing to his full height, Mark smiles as you thank him and offers to buy you an uber to wherever you need to go.

“Hey, hold on. Can I help? Let me tie that for you, okay?”

Jaebeom - Outside, Jaebeom holds a camera to his face, trying to get the perfect shot of the storefront across the street. While trying to find the best angle he notices you coming out of the store. You have multiple bags in your hands and you throw your head back as you sigh loudly. Jaebeom watches as you move from in front of the store’s doorway and set your bags on the ground before you kick your right foot, bending at the knee to try and tie your shoe. 

Forgetting about his picture, Jaebeom jogs across the street and clears his throat, speaking softly to not scare you. He offers to tie your shoe, stating that he would feel bad if he just watched you struggle. You agree to let him help and he quickly ties your shoes. Before he stands, he grabs hold of your bags and offers to carry them to your car.

“Excuse me? Sorry -” *smiles shyly* “I saw you from across the street and just wanted to help…”

Jinyoung - Jinyoung sees when you get off the bus and notices right away that your shoes are untied. You make it all of ten steps before you notice yourself that your laces are untied and look around for something to prop your foot up on. It’s a hassle to tie your shoes and you swore you double knotted them but you guess you didn’t. 

Jinyoung comes over with a kind smile on his face and offers to tie your shoes for you. He knees down and rests your foot on his upper thigh, making sure you have a good balance before he double knots your shoe. He does the same to the other foot and pats your ankle gently before he stands and introduces himself. He offers his good wishes and asks if you would like to grab a drink before you head off. 

He pays for your drink and bids you a farewell before he goes back to his spot, waiting for his members. 

“Would you like some help? I don’t mind tying them for you.”

Jackson - This man spots you from the corner of his eye. He is mid conversation with one of his bodyguards and full on stops what he is saying. He looks around to see if there is a significant other around before he excuses himself from the conversation and walks over to you. Jackson introduces himself and offers his hand to shake before he asks if it would be okay for him to tie your shoes. He squats down in front of you and speaks softly, asking about your pregnancy and if you are healthy. 

Somehow he convinces you to sit with him and his bodyguard offers you a bottle of water. You sit and chat with Jackson, telling him all about your pregnancy and by the time the other members, Jackson is excitedly telling them all about you and the baby.

“I think you’re doing an amazing job, you know? Let me tie your shoes, so you and baby don’t get hurt, okay? May I?”

Youngjae - Youngjae is sitting on the wall outside of where he is supposed to meet with the other member, minding his business. He is a little early and is just enjoying the nice weather. You plop down beside him with a huff and he notices that your shoes are untied. You offer him a quick smile when you notice him looking at you and inhale deeply to mentally prepare to tie your shoes. 

Seeing your mental distress, Youngjae clears his throat and offers to tie your shoes. He assures you that he will double knot them so that they don’t come undone and will still be easy to take off once you are home. You smile and accept his help to which Youngjae grins and pulls your ankles into his lap. He makes quick work of tying your shoes and asks if you would like a drink because you seem to be a little out of breath. 

“I don’t want you to hurt yourself. Do you mind?”

Bambam - Bambam is giggling to himself about what Jackson said in the group chat when you pass by him. He doesn’t notice anything is wrong until he hears you curse loudly. Looking away from his phone, Bambam sees you looking at the ground with a frown on your face. He glances down and sees that one of your shoes is untied. As you start to bend, Bambam jumps to his feet and rushes over to you. He gently stops you, holding onto your shoulders and pushing you upward before he lowers himself to the ground, not caring about his fancy dress pants to tie your shoe.

He scolds you just as lightly once he is finished and reminds you to always double knot your shoes before you leave the house.

“Girl what is you doing? You could hurt yourself. Let me do it!”

Yugyeom - Having waited long enough, Yugyeom decides to grab a drink from the store across the street. While waiting for the light to change, you come to stand beside him. He glances at you from the corner of his eye since you are standing a little close and the first thing he sees is your round belly before he looks lower and notices that your shoelaces are untied. Yugyeom looks to see how long the light will change and he doesn’t have much time.

He apologizes for bothering you and states that your shoe is untied. You thank him and start to bend but he holds out his hands and offers to tie it for you. With your verbal consent, Yugyeom squats down in front of you and quickly double knots your shoe. He asks if it’s too tight and that he can fix it once you both get across the street. 

“Hey, sorry, um…your shoe is untied a-and we’re about to have the light. Do you mind if I-I tie it for you?”

„Guys, girls, everyone, welcome to today‘s episode of spill*the*tea. I’m so excited for this episode, you can’t even imagine. I’ve been trying to get in touch with y/n for years, YEARS, and now she’s finally here. Please give it up for the beautiful y/n!“

You broke out in laughter while covering your face shyly. He noticed right away and called you out for it.

„What? Are you getting shy? This is not the place to be coy, y/n.“

„I just didn’t expect this lovely introduction. Thank you, Youngjae.“

He smiled warmly and sorted out his flashcards - the ones with the curated questions.

Even though you had been in this business for a while, you still couldn’t get used to all the manufacturing. Every question was ran by your management, they practically shoved the answers down your throat.

You desperately wanted people to know the real you - the raw and unfiltered y/n - but one false answer could kill your whole career. The masses were merciless on people like you, so you had to endure and play along.

Youngjae played his part brilliantly, no one would have assumed he knew every question and answer by heart. You chatted about your childhood and how hard it was to get a foot into the business. He asked you about your biggest success and most tragic failure. He asked you questions tailored to your image - glamorous yet still approachable.

And you were all those things, but you were also so much more.

Your fingertips itched, ready to spill out the forbidden secrets the public was dying to know.

You could have talked about the dark things - like only eating cotton pads soaked in tomato juice because managers considered you too fat.

You could have told them you didn’t had a period in years or that you wore wigs because your hair started to fall out.

You could have talked about even darker things - like sexual abuse that was common if you wanted to make it.

You could have told them about ruthless directors that urged you to strip naked at auditions or disgusting producers that groped your ass because they felt like it.

You could have talked about the darkest things known to mankind - like loneliness that eats you up from the inside.

You could have told them about the different coping mechanisms you all used: sex, alcohol or drugs or you could have told them about all the sleepless nights in which you contemplated ending it all.

You shook your body as goosebumps started to form - not wanting to remember more of those things. Your life in this industry wasn’t all bad either.

You could have talked about fun things as well - like spending money on whatever you liked.

You could have told them about the countless shopping sprees or immense pride you felt when you bought your family a new house.

You could have talked about even funnier things - like receiving so much love.

You could have told them about fans that wrote you love letters and gave you gifts or encounters that changed you for the better because you touched someone else’s life, giving them the will to live.

You could have talked about the most fun things in this industry - like dating the most gorgeous men in secret.

You could have told them about about romantic dates in jets while eating strawberries and drinking champagne or sneaking around fashion shows and blowing Korea‘s hottest bachelor in a closet stall.

You giggled at those memories.

„Let’s answer some fan questions“, Youngjae cheered.

His request brought you back to reality. This wasn’t in the script.

„Fan questions?“, you forced a smile.

„Yeah, that’s a new segment. The show is called spill*the*tea after all.“

You gulped anxiously.

„Here we have our first caller. Hey, welcome. What’s your question?“

„Hi Youngjae, hi y/n. I wanted to know how it was like to film your latest drama. What was it like to kiss Eun Woo?“

You sighed in relief. This is easy.

„Filming my latest drama was a blast. Eun Woo made it so easy for me. Great kisser by the way.“

Memories of him kissing you in every position afterwards flooded your mind. „Oh you guys, she is blushing. Did you think of him kissing your lips on set right now?“, Youngjae chimed in.

Oh, you were thinking of him kissing your lips but not the ones Youngjae was referring to.

„Actually, he was the greatest kisser I ever had.“

The fan on the line gasped. You were taking this secret spilling thing easy - for now.

„Another caller, let’s go!“

„Hi, I wanted to know about your feud with Jessi. What happened?“

„Oooooh“, Youngjae was loving this.

You had to think about it, the so called feud with Jessi was a long time ago.

„Well, you know how we girls can get. We were overworked, probably on our periods as well. We drank a bit too much champagne and said some things to blow off steam.“

„Like what?“

You cringed internally, recalling all the nasty things you had said to each other.

You‘re a talentless bitch!

Oh please, you couldn’t even recognize talent if it would have been injected into your plastic-filled body!

You bitch! Take that back!

Like PSY took back your record deal?

At least I was selling records! The only time you’ve been relevant in music was when Yoongi recorded your moans into his tracks!

At least I fucked him properly, Jessica!

No wonder since that’s how you got your career!

You were tempted to spill but tried to hold back.

„Like, stupid stuff that girls say. Attacking each other over looks and boys. Honestly, I can’t even remember - that’s how irrelevant it was.“

In all honesty you couldn’t remember because you blacked out from all the booze but your fans didn’t need to know. Right?

„So, are you still on bad terms?“

Oh yeah, you hated that bitch. But since your managers were close you had to promote her, suffering the consequences of your job.

„No, not at all. We talked it out and now we’re fine. We’ve been chatting about doing her gum challenge together, so keep an eye out for that.“

Your face didn’t even flinch, you were so good at lying.

“Okay, let’s see what the last caller wants to know.”

„Hey last caller“, you greeted charmingly.

„Hey y/n! Oh my god I can’t believe I’m actually talking to you!! I wanted to know if you’re single?“

„Well, that caller is wasting no time“, Youngjae side-eyed.

You laughed, waving it off like you always did.

„No, I am not dating anyone right now.“

„Not even in secret?“, the caller wanted to know.

„Why, are you offering?“

Your question caught the caller of guard.

„I mean I’m a girl. Wait, do you date girls?“

Youngjae‘s eyes widened in surprise, not leaving yours for even a second.

There had been rumors of you dating your band mates but you never thought about that. They were like sisters to you, asexual and off the radar. There was this one girl though…

„I’ve never dated girls before.“

„But would you like to try?“

The caller was persistent, pestering you with intimate questions.

„I mean“, you shrugged your shoulders, not really thinking about answering correctly.

„If I had to choose to date a girl, a woman I mean… I’d definitely date Hwasa.“

Youngjae nodded his head, agreeing wholeheartedly.

„Great choice.“

„Right? I feel like she and I would just match. Two baddies getting it on.“

You stuck out your tongue, adding to the playfulness of the question.

„But you know, up until now I only dated guys. If I had time to.“

„Who did you date?“

„Can’t tell“, you shook your head.

„Oh come on, spill some tea eonni. Who was the most fun one to date?“

Jackson.

„Nope.“

„Who was the one that stole your heart so effortlessly?“

Namjoon.

„Nope.“

„Who was the biggest sex freak?“

Taemin.

„Listen, I can’t spill names.“

„How about“, Youngjae spoke up, „how about we find the middle? Tell us about a kinky guy you once dated.“

You looked at him puzzled - Youngjae knew damn well that you couldn’t say that stuff. He slid a piece of paper over to you, urging you to read it.

„Alright“, you nodded.

Youngjae‘s eyes sparkled, already celebrating the success of his show.

„I once dated a guy - briefly - who was very peculiar in that area. He was, uhm, a mixture of sugar and spice if you will.“

„What’s that supposed to mean?“, the caller asked.

„Well, he was super sweet on the outside. Beautiful, cute, charming - he was like sunshine, always making you feel good and appreciated. But behind closed doors he was different.. he had very distinct ways of being loved.“

„Okay, that’s the cue - distinct is a secret word for super kinky?“, Youngjae almost jumped off his chair from excitement.

„Oh god, you’re really making me say it huh?“

„YES“, they both shouted simultaneously.

„Okay, picture this. We are in bed doing things and everything is going great. He’s super attentive to my needs and makes sure I come and everything but then when I wanted to return the favor he abruptly stopped and left the room.“

„Why?“

„Turns out he went into the other room where there is a big ceiling with wooden beams and a rope…“

„Oh my god, I love where this is going“, Youngjae laughed.

„A rope?“

„So, I followed him and saw him almost strangling himself while jerking off. I swear to god his head was blue but he moaned in so much pleasure - he was having the orgasm of his life.“

„What happened then?“

Images of you freaking out flooded your mind - back then you were nowhere as chill as you now made it out to be.

You had never seen someone so blissful after sex, let alone after experiencing an almost death.

Youngjae gasped.

„So, who was it?“ the caller wanted to know.

You were reluctant to tell, you already spilled so much information.

Youngjae was hoping to get it out of you but luckily the fates did that for you. Before you could say anything both of you took a glance at Youngjae‘s phone which was laying between the both of you.

„Hold on, my boyfriend is calling“, he mouthed silently.

„YOUR BOYFRIEND?“

Youngjae mustered you, eyes wide open and mouth agape from shock. It took him a moment to make sense of this situation but he lost his shit as he finally put one and one together.

The man on the line, the one whom he was dating, was no other than the one you just talked about.

Love: I really can’t tell when it comes to his situation, as he doesnt feel like he is in a relationship but at the same time he isn't single either. from what i can gather, i think JayB is having some type of affair but it's something that he is keeping under the low radar, something he doesn't want anyone to know about 

Career: So he is in military, however i do see that JayB has already worked on a  few projects before he left for his service, probably to get things ready for when he would come back

Self: He isn't in his most perfect form physically speaking. i believe that he is doing well mentally and emotionally and as a person, but physically his energy is restrain and he probably wakes up with sore muscles on the mornings 

Mark

Love: He is seeing someone but things aren't going well between them. there’s some money issues involved in the relationship and Mark has also been focusing more on his career than on his love life which often brings problems 

Career: things have also stopped for him. Mark has been working on a few things but he has no green light in releasing what he wants. Mark has also been fighting some issues when it comes to relationships while working, as many people don't appreciate him as much as one could think which puts a lot of stops on his goals.

Self: Overall he is okay despite having some turbulence on his emotions. Mark is someone who can get easily affected by things around him and as far as i can see, he has been clinging onto things that aren't good for him. he needs to be careful in order not to dive into something darker 

Jackson

Love: Without any doubts, this man is dating someone and the relationship seems to be going well. It's someone he had a crush on for a long time and they are finally going through their life together. also it feels like they have been together probably for 9 months? although i cannot be sure 

Career: however career wise things aren't going well and they aren't going as planned. Jackson probably got into arguments with either his company or a high up which is costing me a  lot of money in projects that he had already invested in. also i feel like his sponsor is reclent when it comes to his promotions 

Self: he is divided. on one hand his relationship brings him comfort and happiness but on another hand, his career means alot to him and benign unable to do what he likes and wants kind of puts a restrain on him, chains that could pull him under the bus

Jinyoung

Love: He also is in a relationship but things aren't going as planned. i feel like Jinyoung had plans for his partner and him (probably a moving together, a marriage or anything he would put the relationship higher) however his partner has not accepted it. they are still together and working out things by his partner doesn't seem to share the same goals than he does

Career: his sponsor is his worst enemy at this point because everything that he has been working on for, all the things she has invested his energy on has been monitored by his sponsor and not his company which often provides little insight. basically i believe that his sponsor doesn't want to promote or invest in things he does because they believe it wont bring any earning to them 

Self: however despite all of that Jinyoung is someone positive, and he is someone that likes to keep their head high no matter how hard things are. Thus, he has been trying to see things from another perspective. 

Youngjae

Love: Yougnjae is equally in a relationship with someone but i believe that he likes insight on this person. I feel like he is with them because he loves them, because they find them attractive but he doesn't know anything about them in an intimate and close way. Youngjae is probably only invested through his own feelings without taking in consideration his partner 

Career: when i say i feel the dark energy of wealth here, isn't something to brag about. everything that he does has to do with money and Youngjae isn't doing any project that won't bring him earnings. it doesn't feel like he is here for the liking of music but mor its earnings and its fame 

Self: he lacks long term success perceptive which will probably come to bite his butt. the end of the group in a way has affected him and pushed him in roads that he should have not taken 

BamBam

Love: he is probably single at the moment we speak, mostly because bambam has crushed all over but he is unable to commit to one person in particular. also i see that his ex has been very present on his life but on a negative way (they probably stalk them or blackmail him in a certain way) which also impacts the way he relations himself with others 

Career: there’s good things coming for him and his career, and he has been working on a  few things. bambam will try to use his image to promote his music and his projects but hr needs to be careful this year because everything that he will publically say will be used against him

Self: mentally i don't think he is doing well, he feels vulnerable and low in energy. bambam probably struggles a lot with mental health and he hasn't been searching for any professional helps which is a mistake 

Yugyeom

Love: he is single at the moment, he went through a very hardore breakup not long ago and that impacted him a lot as a man and as who he believes he is (like ego wise). Yugyeom will need some time to heal form this 

Career: he juggles too much, he doesn't know what he wants in life or what he needs for his career. Yugyeom is the type to work out for the status instead of the music but at the same time he doesn't have any particular goal as long as it brings hm money which can often cause some complications when it comes to going projects 

Self: despite everything that has been happening t hi, he seems to be holding on pretty well and as always he is focused on his well benign and on how he enjoys his life. he doesn't want to stay behind and cry for things that no longer serves him

Evie was very intimidated by Jay B when she first met him but she said they warmed up to one another very quickly.

They used to go on walks a lot at night in silence to clear their heads.

Evie said they were both rather quiet when they first met and it actually took them a while to warm up to one another, however, now that they’ve known each other for so long they talk a lot.

Evie says that Mark can easily make her laugh and that he makes her feel safe.

Evie says she likes to make Mark soup whenever she can.

Evie goes to Mark for advice a lot and she tends to vent to him a lot because he can keep her head on her shoulders and makes sure she isn’t overreacting or overthinking things.

Mark’s dad enjoys trolling and teasing Evie and he has even called her his daughter before.

Evie has stated she wants to do a podcast with Mark because it sounds fun.

Mark enjoys listening to Evie’s problems even if he can’t always help her with advice, he knows that being there often is all the help she could want.

Evie and Youngjae sometimes play games together but she always gets nervous to ask him so it’s not as often as she’d like it to be.

Evie gets flustered easily around Youngjae because she finds him to be very handsome.

BamBam is another one of the members of GOT7 that Evie is extremely close to.
