A/N: I have been meaning to write something for Youcef for so long and here we finally are! I have something else in the works for him as well that I'm hoping to post sooner rather than later. Hope you enjoy!

Your arms were stretching above your head before you even tried opening your eyes. They reached up, fingertips brushing against the smooth, cold wood of your headboard before you stuck them out from your sides. One arm dangled off the edge of the mattress, the other got caught up in the blanket that was draped not just over you but over Youcef as well. Reaching just a little farther, you could feel the planes of his chest even through the puffy comforter wrapped around both of you.

Eyes still closed, you could hear the soft chuckle that he let out. You might’ve been clinging to the idea of dozing back off, but you could tell just from his quiet laugh that he was up, that he had been for a while.

Prying one eye open, you turned your head just slightly so that you could look at him. And, sure enough, there he was. He was lying on his side and already looking at you. He had his elbow against his pillow, head rested in his palm. His curls were unruly from the night before, from tossing and turning and everything else. There was still a smile stitched across his face, the hand that wasn’t holding his head up reaching out for you.

Once you felt his arm come to rest across your stomach, you managed to get both of your eyes open. He laughed again, forever amused by the way you always had to drag yourself out of sleep and into your waking hours.

“Do you ever get bored of watching me sleep?” you mumbled with something that sounded like a laugh underneath the yawn that was trying to fight its way out.

His smile broadened as he shook his head. “Not even a good morning, hm?” He joked softly. When you just smiled and shook your head in response, he finally answered your question. “No, I don’t get bored.”

There were a few beats of silence between you, but the longer you watched him, the more you could see the way his shoulders were starting to shake with laughter that he was trying to hold in. Blinking hard a couple times, you finally rubbed the sleep from your eyes and focused in on him. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Like what?” he asked, with a tone that let you know he knew exactly like what.

You chuckled, rolling onto your side so that you were facing him completely. “Like you’ve got something funny to tell me.”

“Like a joke?”

You laughed, slowly starting to feel more and more awake the more that you talked to him. “Yea, like a joke.”

He hummed in amusement, allowing your statement to hang in the air between you before finally shaking his head. “No jokes.”

“Then what?”

He moved his hand, slipping it underneath the covers with the rest of his arm so that he could put his hand on your side. His palm felt cold for a moment compared to your skin that had been kept warm beneath the covers all night. Despite the goosebumps that rose over your skin, you didn’t flinch or pull away. Instead, you let his hand grip onto you just a little tighter so that he could pull you just a little closer.

“Did you know you talk in your sleep?” he asked, dazed grin still on his face.

You laughed, eyebrows lifting slightly. “What?”

He nodded. “You do. You talk in your sleep.”

You rolled your eyes, pretending to pull away from him just so he could stop you and pull you closer as you argued. “I do not.”

“And how would you know, hm?” he asked, his nose just barely brushing against yours with how closely he had pulled you in. “You’re asleep when it happens.”

You laughed, placing your palms to his chest. “How do I know you’re not lying to me?”

The look on his face softened, and you could feel his breath against your skin as he huffed out a small laugh through his nose. “When do I ever lie to you?”

The thudding in your chest picked up for a few beats at that. He never did lie to you, and he had every reason to feel like he should with the life that he lived. That wasn’t something that you ever let yourself take for granted. For all the things he’d ever done, everything that he was involved in, he somehow managed to stay genuine through it all. He somehow kept that air of softness around him, especially with you.

“What do I say then, hm?” you finally asked when your heart had slowed back down to normal.

“What do you say?”

You laughed, nodding as you slid your hands up from his chest and into the curls at the nape of his neck. “When I’m talking in my sleep, what do I say?”

His eyes drifted shut for the briefest second as your fingers started to tangle themselves in his hair. “You mumble a lot,” he said before finally opening his eyes again. “Sometimes you say nice things to me.”

Your smile widened enough to make your cheeks hurt. “Do I? Do you coax it out of me?”

He chuckled. “I don’t have to.”

“Oh, you don’t, huh?” you joked with a shake of your head.

“Sleeping you is always saying how much you love me.”

Heat rushed to your face at that. Everything with Youcef had happened so fast, instantly diving headfirst into the deep end of the pool without pausing to check the temperature of the water first. There was something about him that made it so easy to be like that. It was how you ended up here. But still, even with how quickly the two of you had taken off with each other, neither of you had said I love you yet. At least, not in those words exactly.

“Do you say it back?” you asked.

He hummed, nodding with no hesitation. “Of course I do.”

If it had been physically possible to do, you would’ve melted completely into him right then and there. You settled for the next best thing, pulling his lips to yours in a kiss as you tangled your legs together. His arms wrapped tighter around you, one hand finding its way to the center of your back, the other drifting down to your thigh so that he could grip onto you, keep your leg hooked over his.

You could feel the smirk that was curling his lips as he slowly pulled out of the kiss. He didn’t let you go, though, just pulling away enough so that he could rest his forehead against yours. You allowed your hands to wander, trailing down over the sparse facial hair that lined his jaw before bringing them back down to his chest again. It was his turn to have his heart skipping a couple beats.

He could feel the way that your body was relaxing against his, your breathing starting to slow back down. “Are you going back to sleep?”

You laughed quietly, the tiredness in your voice making you unable to even try to lie about it. “Maybe. Are you going to keep watching me if I do?”

He laughed as he kissed you again. “Maybe.”

omg okay. way to make my night. I'm supposed to be writing. Let's fucking gooooooo.

[Noting based on my recent post, this is my ranking for if you're pursuing a male LI. WLW rankings would be very different].

So, to me, I think there are two main criteria that define a season: Love Interests and Gameplay.

Love Interests can be further broken down into:

Sprite Design: How good they look overall as a cast. Are they proportionate? Unique?

Variety: How different/unique are they to previous seasons? Are they all models and carpenters and finance bros?

Fandom Impact: This one is silly and subjective. Are people still talking about them years later? Do they have fanfics and art? If you don't know this person, are you missing out?

Gameplay can be further broken down into:

Quality of Plot Drama: How it's written, how impactful it is. Is it stupid manufactured shit, or is it important and moves the game along? (Cherrygate? Great drama. Suresh wanting to 'give Lulu a chance' after he'd been all in for us? Shitty, awful drama).

Challenges: Are they engaging and interesting? Do they move the plot along?

Replayability: Are there enough unique aspects in the routes that you feel the need to replay?

So, based on these two criteria, I assigned rankings to each season, with Season 2 being the best that fusebox can possibly do. (We already know that it is).

These are completely subjective, but this is what I came up with.

Some brief explanations:

Season 1:

Not the best art style, but overall the proportions were spot on, the body shapes and types were different and unique. Personalities top tier (Tim? Jake? sigh.) Cherrygate, dunking challenge etc.

Season 2:

The best the fandom can do in terms of consistent art style, poses, challenges and replayability. Every route is unique. Characters are overhwhelmingly gorgeous. Some may not like the drama, but I think it's just enough.

Season 3:

I thought things were ranked too high but then remember Tai? Rafi? AJ? The waterfall date, the water balloon and tent challenges that meant something and caused drama?

Season 4:

Lost points for the NaJamUno character merge, but gained points for Youcef and Oliver. Great characters, poor challenges and drama points. Dylangate was dumb and so was making us sleep on the daybeds.

Season 5:

The less said the better. But the sprites were hot af.

Season 6:

The great character merge was atrocious. But the drama from Casa, the Marshall&Ozzy plotline, and HAMISH oh my god, he gets a bonus point for drama all on his own.

Season 7:

Personally very forgettable season. Some of the sprites were lovely. Evan was a highlight and he's gorgeous. But given how quickly everyone forgot about this season, it's loowww.

Season 8:

Gets a high ranking for fandom impact purely based on the immense amount of art and interest that's come about this season. Even with up to a half-point deduction to account for recency bias, this season ranks highly.

This gives us an updated ranking of:

Third? THIRD? Season 8 is THIRD?!?!?

This gives us an average season rating of 6.4. We could remove the outliers, but we're trying to plot how good each season is against the average, so let's not. If we then plotted this and threw in a bar to show the average:

It says the only seasons that are 'above average' are Seasons 1, 2, and 8. Which, honestly, given my adoration for Bruno, Ciaran, and Lewie, rude. How dare I hurt myself with my own chart!!!!!

I'm sure one of the maths people could do something statistically significant and make this fully mathematically valid, but this is just me latching on to a silly ask and being an idiot about it.

I like S8 a lot. It's worth playing.

thoughts on todays volume! in case you are unaware, android users got to play the volume very early, while ios users were given a late release. lmao. MC somehow came out unscathed in movie night, plot armor for the win ! the guys pull MC for a chat before the boy's choice recoupling. the pit in my stomach when i read that.

theo flirts again, but this time our responses are flirty, rude af, or "you should focus on claudia." i didn't want to pick any of these but i picked the flirty one because at first i thought it could be "jokingly" said. interestingly enough, he says something among the lines of how he didn't expect MC to be interested in him because she's with claudia . i didn't want that to bite me in the ass later so i just replayed and picked the rude option (so it seems that it's "canon" for theo & claud to simultaneously crush on MC? at least if she's bi/pan etc.)

i saw this coming but still, this has to be a joke … 😭😭😭😭😭

there’s like what, three volumes left ? unless FB decides to drag this out with a “season 8.5,” this should’ve been a players choice recoupling (hell, it technically could've still been boys choice, with MC getting first pick for winning the heart rate challenge, or because she was selected by the viewers, literally anything lol)

it'd be one thing if OG LI was like, "i chose you because i wanted to keep you safe . even if we're not meant to be, i still care for you, i want you have a chance with the one you want," blah blah blah, but FB never lets us be in a friendship couple, he's just gonna keep pining for MC ... moving on

claudia's outfit wasn't paywalled, and i didn't get the gem option to give jin the viking outfit so he came out looking like this lmfaooooooo

tin man - youcef. he's gentle and he's kind, but sometimes he's honest without thinking. a little petty. you know, it just fits for youcef to be tin man. he'd probably dress better though (lol no we all saw his outfits and hair)

the cowardly lion - my man tom, obviously. he's learning to stand up for himself, learning to be himself in general. he needs some help here, but he's getting the courage for it.

rewrites i would do for litg season 4:

mc enters with oliver, giving us more time to bond with him. because of this, he is positioned as the “bobby” of season aka the islander the game is pushing you to be with

i understand james is the one the game is making you pair up with, but maybe it would be better if it went the jake route where you guys are friends first but ended up actually liking each other and james confesses to you in the latter half of the season (but not at the same time as angie)

when it comes to confessions, i would make youcef confess twice. the first time would feel a bit too fast, sort of suggesting that he is a playboy. but mc gets to interact with him more, learning about his failed engagement and strained relationship with parents. mc realizes that he hides his vulnerability behind his playboy persona and youcef is actually gentle and thoughtful. he still confesses to mc before the final recoupling, but this time it comes out more sincerely and it still plays out the same way: he would be rooting for the mc still even if she doesn’t choose him.

have one of the islanders steal your li [again] in one of the recouplings making the mc the single one this time

when the mc is single, new islanders arrive and they choose to date your last li. during this time, one of the islanders that fancies you try to comfort you and you build a bond with them thru the season. later in the game, this islander confesses to you (this depends on who was your last li, who else you flirted with, etc.)

for an alternative take on the ca twist, the girls and boys will be separated and the girls will be reunited with the dumped boys and the boys will be reunited with the dumped girls. they have a choice to stay with their current li or bring back one of the dumped islanders back in the game (though the game would need to introduce another guy character to even things out)

make kelly an og character and have najuma enter later to mess with mc and li

have the option to also have a “bff ala seb / tim” with one of the boys (but it’s not going to be enforced like in s3)

have thabi realize lexi is a fake and leads to showing lexi (and everyone) that thabi isn’t someone you want to get angry. this leads up to lexi’s dumping

have kobi be the one who “looks after” the islanders instead of lexi in first few episodes. kobi is genuinely welcoming and caring and loves to make everyone feel at home, which makes it sadder that he has poor luck with women

Tras su cierre, vuelve a la luz bajo el nombre de Boned Books, un proyecto aún más cercano, próximo, centrado en libro y ubicado en Gracia (Barcelona). En la feria presenta el proyecto A Walk Between the Lines, un diálogo visual entre Leah Fresneda Valls y Pablo Varela Barcos, dos jovencísimos autores que nos hacen viajar entre trampantojos y engaños visuales, buscando lo extraordinario dentro de lo común.

El proyecto ganador de V edición de Art Photo BCN fue el de Laura Van Severen, una joven belga con un trabajo de rabiosa actualidad. Laura se ha dedicado en los últimos años a visitar vertederos en España, Holanda y Bélgica y a fotografiarlos. Tarea nada sencilla porque no existe un listado de vertederos y un teléfono de contacto con horarios de visita. Minuciosa y delicada labor de ir uno a uno localizándolos, en muchas ocasiones con ayuda de Google Maps a vista de satélite. Ayer presentó su trabajo y la verdad es que todo el público asistente quisimos saber más, no preguntamos por enfoques, calidades de papel o saturación. Preguntamos por gestión y por el proceso de llegar a cada vertedero, reflexionamos sobre nuestro consumo, sobre la huella del ser humano sin estar literalmente presente… Y es que el trabajo de Laura nos hace reflexionar: ¿dónde queremos llegar ocultando la basura y convirtiendo su acumulación en una montaña ficticia? Desgraciadamente aún hoy en día, gran parte de la sociedad piensa que el cambio climático aún no ha llegado, que “reciclar” es suficiente y que lo que tiramos a la basura deja de ser nuestra responsabilidad. Pero, la acumulación de plástico de un solo uso, la sobreproducción y la mala gestión de los residuos son problemas de los que deberíamos ser más conscientes. Ocultar la basura no está reduciendo el problema, no podemos seguir consumiendo y creando nuevos vertederos, debemos empezar a trabajar por un consumo responsable, zero waste, compra a granel y muchas más opciones que existen hoy en día para cuidar nuestro planeta, porque no hay un planeta B.

Laura Van Severen además de ganar el premio de Art Photo BCN 2018 y ser la imagen gráfica del festival y contar con un pequeño espacio expositivo en la feria, obtuvó también el premio FUGA de manera que expone varios trabajos en este espacio expositivo hasta el 16 de mayo de 2019.

  · Artista invitado: Fernando Bayona

Fernando Bayona fue el artista invitado en la última edición de ARCO para el stand de ABC. En Art Photo Bcn se pueden ver diversas obras del trabajo La memoria traidora que ya mostró en la feria madrileña. Un interesante proyecto de archivo, tras analizar unas 30.000 fotografías del archivo del diario ABC de los últimos 100 años. Seleccionó unas categorías concretas, y de las fotografías de cada categoría eligió 100 imágenes que fue superponiendo respetando su tamaño original de las más antiguas a las más modernas en primer plano.  Todas eso sí en escala de blancos y negros y reduciendo saturación. El resultado es una imagen difuminada, resumen de 100 fotografías de los últimos 100 años que revive gracias a la cámara de nuestro teléfono móvil que nos desvela más estructuras y secretos de cada fotografía que nuestro propio ojo. Bayona nos trae al presente nuestra memoria, acontecimientos clave en los últimos 100 años, desde bombardeos a actos violentos.

Dice FUNDEU “La locución sustantiva al alimón significa ‘conjuntamente’ e implica colaboración, por lo que se aconseja no emplearla como mero sinónimo de simultáneamente”, y así han decidido llamar a su galería Isabel Lázaro y Rebeca Méndez, antes Art Deal Project y El Catascopio respectivamente. Alalimón es un espacio de encuentro y dinamización centrado en los creadores emergentes, un vivero de galerías y acelerador de la creatividad. En Art Photo BCN presentan Alegoría de la memoria de Rocío Verdejo, tres grandes fotografías que cautivan al espectador por su cuidada estética y el reencuentro con los recueros, algunos a los que nos aferramos, otros que quemamos y olvidamos y otros que nos persiguen y que no querríamos recordar.

  Este área del festival es uno de los más interesantes, en los Visionados los propios autores defienden sus proyectos ante especialistas del sector que acaban otorgando los premios del festival. Este año los fotógrafos que defienden sus proyectos son: Ana Frechilla, Andrés Solla, Beatriz Mínguez de Molina, Daniel García Valero, David García Fernández, David Querol, Erik Estany Tigerstörm, Felipe Abreu, Oriol Miñarro y Romina Almodóvar.

Tanit Plana muestra parte de su exposición Es lo que es, que acoge la Sala Canal Isabel II en Madrid hasta el 19 de mayo y cuyo comisario es Moritz Neumüeller. Tanit ha seguido el camino de un email de Barcelona a Los Ángeles para mostrarnos Internet desde dentro, nos visibiliza eso que nos parece “invisible” en Escala y fragmento, un trabajo de 2017 lleno de redes de cables e ingenios tecnológicos.

  · Jiser, intercambio en el espacio mediterráneo

Jiser, significa “puente” en árabe, y es el nombre de una asociación sin ánimo de lucro con sede en Barcelona, cuyo objetivo es promover la creación artística y el uso del arte como herramienta de transformación social en el espacio mediterráneo, a través de la realización de actividades conjuntas que favorezcan el intercambio y el acercamiento entre las diferentes realidades artísticas y culturales de la región. En esta edición presentan el trabajo de tres componentes de Collective220, un grupo de fotógrafos centrados en Argelia.

Youcef Krache presenta Vitrines, una serie con tres elementos clave: los autobuses, las personas que los ocupan y la ciudad de Argel que se refleja en las ventanas de los autobuses. Youcef plantea un interesante juego de miradas con los viajeros, con el reflejo del cristal, con un viaje inmóvil, una espera deambulando.

Fethi Sahraoui documenta las celebraciones rurales en The cult of souls, estas celebraciones son promesas dadas por los habitantes para celebrar cada año el espíritu de sus santos devotos. A lo largo de la historia han pasado de ser un acto con la esperanza de conseguir una mejor cosecha a un acto lleno de diversión que llena la falta de lugares dedicados a esto.

Abdo Shanan en Diary:Exile presenta su búsqueda de respuestas a su exilio rodeado de soledad, decepción y temores. La imagen que se ha creado de su país, la falta de sentimientos de hogar y el enfrentamiento con la realidad son los temas que presenta Abdo.

  · Gestión cultural: una feria consolidada

Como decía al principio y si seguís este blog, este festival ha ido teniendo diferentes ubicaciones desde su primera edición en 2014. Y en esta edición el salto ha sido muy cualitativo, que se celebre en Arts Santa Mónica, inconscientemente le aporta rigurosidad, ya no es un festival en un local, en un hotel laberíntico, etc. es un festival en un centro expositivo, céntrico, de fácil acceso y con unas condiciones más óptimas para el disfrute de todos los asistentes. El cómo se llega a esto no es fácil, el trabajo de la directora, Isabel Lázaro es digno de admirar. A veces en los másters o posgrados de gestión cultural deberían mirar trayectorias cómo la suya, ser capaz de levantar anualmente un festival de fotografía de esta calidad e implicando a tantos agentes y con tan bajo presupuesto.

Por último, mencionar la gran cantidad de talleres que han programado a lo largo del fin de semana y la plataforma [NO SIN FOTÓGRAFAS], a favor de la presencia de mujeres dedicadas a la fotografía que lucha por conseguir una representación paritaria en el sector, podéis sumaros al colectivo y consultar la base de datos de fotógrafas en su web.

when you give out a survey, you're collecting data from a population. a population is the collection of objects or individuals opinions/information. so for us, who is that population? the reddit community and I don't know about you but that community is different from those who get their information/interaction from tumblr, versus those from facebook, versus those from twitter, etc.

but what's wrong with this survey then? we all have access to it, we can all get to it. no, but that's wrong. this survey is what you would call an error in sampling.

an error in sampling is a poorly designed survey. no, no, the person who made it is fabulous! the reason it's an error in sampling is this: it's misleading. this survey is not randomly selected people. it's the same people who want to see the results over and over again. there are more people who like certain characters than what is shown in the data. why is that? this survey is an error in sampling because one, it's misleading. two, it's not random selection (obviously random selection of about 100-200 litg fans would be better). three, it is biased towards only those people who want to take the survey.

at this point, if your favorite was already voted out, OR your favorite is consistently voted for, you may not want to partake in this survey which means: there's an error, because you don't feel the same way the others do but you have no interest in voting anymore because it's no longer of any interest to you.

how could it be fixed? well, it can't. literally the only way to actually have this be more accurate is either random selection to complete the survey, or every single player would have to answer this survey every single time.

also want to point this out: the season with the most hate is going to be season three or season four (just depends who you ask). again, this survey is biased towards the people who want to take it. the majority of people who want to take it are those who are big fans of season two. so what happened?

E’ questo il senso che utilizzavamo quando chiedevamo, durante gli anni, agli abitanti dei quartieri di convergere nelle loro lotte per unirsi alle organizzazioni di sinistra o ai movimenti sociali. La convergenza è vuota di senso e troppo connotata. Chiederete ai Gilets Jaunes di includere altre parole d’ordine?

Non gli chiediamo niente, lo facciamo noi stessi. Cosa vuol dire essere un Gilet Jaune? E’ essere contro la vita cara, le tasse e l’aumento della benzina. Non appartiene a nessuno questo movimento. Appartiene a tutti quelli che vivono nella miseria, che non arrivano alla fine del mese, che devono risparmiare per dare da mangiare alle loro famiglie, che a volte anche con un lavoro si ritrovano a dover dormire per strada. Anche noi siamo dei Gilets Jaunes, non chiediamo niente. Portiamo la nostra specificità e anche quella deve essere ascoltata.

Cosa pensate di certi episodi razzisti osservati?

Non dobbiamo lasciare lo spazio all’estrema destra. Bisogna essere seri. Incontriamo episodi razzisti anche nelle manifestazioni di sinistra. Ho sentito dei militanti di sinistra dirmi, durante una manifestazione per la Palestina: “Perché usi degli slogan in arabo?”. Non c’è bisogno di vedere i Gilets Jaunes per constatare questo tipo di comportamento razzista. Quando vedo dei militanti di sinistra indignarsi, mi viene da sorridere. Bisogna vedere come degli operai musulmani nelle fabbriche sono stati trattati dalla sinistra, che gli accusava di essere troppo chiusi nella loro comunità. Vengo da una città della Seine-Saint-Denis nella quale coloro che mi hanno sempre impedito di militare erano di sinistra. Non era la destra ma il partito comunista, i Verdi etc. La lotta riguardo ai centri Sonacotra era in delle città comuniste. In delle città di sinistra sono stati bloccati dei progetti di moschee . E’ un’ipocrisia. Ci sono dei comportamenti razzisti in alcune mobilitazioni dei Gilet Jaunes, ma non è la loro specificità: è il riflesso della società. Bisogna domandarsi quali sono le responsabilità che ne derivano. Quando un certo tipo di sinistra parla come l’estrema destra, questo diventa un problema

Si, perché a volte questo tipo di situazioni si riproducono per mimetismo, e questo è un peccato. Bisogna essere superiori e prendere distanza da questi soggetti. Non ho sentito delle critiche quando le stesse aggressioni si sono verificate nelle manifestazioni di sinistra. Non bisogna rimanere estranei a queste mobilitazioni. Bisogna essere sempre attori, essere l’iniziativa. E meglio bloccare i comportamenti razzisti all’inizio per evitare così che questo movimento diventi completamente razzista, in quel caso dovremmo batterci sia contro i Gilet Jaunes sia contro Macron! Bisogna dimostrare un’intelligenza strategica. Se vogliamo davvero cambiare il nostro destino in Francia e migliorare le nostre condizioni di vita, dobbiamo lottare socialmente nelle strade. Abbiamo tutti il nostro posto legittimo in questa mobilitazione. Bisogna esserci, Macron sta esagerando. L’impatto della sua politica sui quartieri popolari si moltiplicherà per dieci”

Questa mobilitazione alla quale invitate a partecipare il primo dicembre, avrà un valore di test politico per la partecipazione dei quartieri?

Il 13 ottobre, Il Comité Adama organizzò una manifestazione in solo sette giorni contro menzogne della giustizia in materia di abusi in divisa. Quattromila persone si sono mobilitate. Dunque, abbiamo già dimostrato la nostra capacità di mobilitazione. Siamo fiduciosi. Coloro che ci seguono sanno che lottiamo per il bene comune. Saremo presenti il primo dicembre per un corteo degli cheminots (lavoratori delle ferrovie ndt) alla stazione Saint-Lazare alle 13 in direzione degli Champs-Elysées

She works too much. The hours are long already, and emergency services are almost universally understaffed. But Angie's always so worried about others that she rarely turns someone down if they need someone to cover their shift. MC's not saying anything to start with, because she's literally saving lives... but she wants her to be home more. She misses her. And it's going to fester a little bit. They're going to have to have an open and honest convo about this.

Bruno

Oh my sweet baby. Many things. He's going to embarrass her in his stand-up. He'll post something too personal on social media. He'll say exactly the wrong thing to exactly the wrong person at her family gathering or work event. He might get a bit better once he gets more comfortable around her friends and family, but realistically, he couldn't change even if she wanted him to. He could avoid a lot of these by just slowing down for a second. If he's willing to do that, they'll be okay. If not, he's gonna piss her off. And fast.

James

He doesn't stand up for her against his family. Don't get me wrong, James's family are lovely people. But if it came down to it, she feels like if they told him to dump her, he would. She feels like he's never on her side, and she doesn't feel like they're a team. It makes her feel very isolated, especially if she's moved for him.

Partying too much. Her wildness is one of the reasons MC fell for her in the first place, but seriously? Every night? After a while, MC's either going to get completely worn out (from joining her) or very, very lonely (if she doesn't). Either way, it's going to be the source of a big argument.

Oliver

He's a bit naïve, and lets people take advantage of him. I can see some of his wider group of mates doing this - rides to the airport, helping move house, etc. But like, every weekend. MC is going to get pretty annoyed at it, and try and get him to say no to people. Sales calls, scammers, even door-knockers. He seems to attract them and he always has a smile and a nod for them. Especially if money's tight, it's going to be a real pressure point for MC.

Tom

He doesn't listen to her love language. He keeps showering her with gifts, and buying her things, even if she expressly tells him it's not what she wants or needs from him. He also has similar issues to James, in that he's gonna take his parents' side on something, or not stand up for her when it's really, really important. She's going to be left feeling like she's always going to come second. If he doesn't step up, start listening to what she needs, and start making her a priority, she's gone.

Will

Easy. Not opening up. He doesn't want to bring things up in case it starts an argument. He just lets things fester and simmer until it's far, far bigger of a deal than it needs to be. It gets to the point where every time he says "Can we talk?" she gets a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, because she's going to be feeling so guilty about something bothering him for weeks. It's not healthy. They both needs therapy.

Funnily enough, I actually don't see there being any major arguments between these two. If he confesses to her, it's already established that they've got very open and honest communication. So out of all the couples, I think this is the one that will have the fewest arguments. Though, I can see him getting a little bit jealous at times. Teehee.
