Synopsis: Simon wants to know how many kids you want.

Maybe it's how soft and supple your skin is, maybe it's that smooth voice you mumble to him at night, or maybe it's how you wear nice fabrics, the kind that brush against his skin and he can feel his muscles relax--but Simon is hooked on you.

It all started when you saw him at a coffee shop and his jaw practically dropped at how soft you seemed. You were so polite, spoke so quiet to the barista, that he had to make sure he got your number!

So when Simon saw a man that clearly didn't deserve you hitting on you after you politely declined him, of course he came up, hot black coffee in hand, and asked if there was a problem.

And when you first fell asleep beside him? He laid his head on your chest like a small child and just closed his eyes and he felt so... Held in that moment, even though your arms weren't around him that the next day when he drove you back to your place he stopped by the jeweller and got you a perfect ring.

Now you're on the couch, feet propped up, pretty little rock on your finger and he's laying on your lap, head beside your tummy, kneading at your thigh when he finally speaks.

"'Ow many kids?" Simon asks in his gruff voice, "One or two?"

You pause, looking down with a cocked eyebrow. Your hand reaches to start running through Simon's hair and he groans, relaxing entirely, "What do you mean, Si?" You ask in the soft voice that makes his knees buckle.

Simon picks his head up to look at you, "One or two kids?" He repeats, "'Ow many do ya want? 'Onestly, if it's more than two, we'll need a bigger 'ome."

Your eyes widen and your cheeks flush, and it makes Simon grin that devilish grin. He kisses your stomach, then your thighs. You let out that cute little giggle, your thighs squishing together because it tickles.

"C'mon, dovie. Ya gonna be my missus. Ya gotta know how many kids ya want," Simon says, rubbing up and down your thigh. He starts to get up, pulling you close, curled up beside him.

You breathe out a giggle, nestling up to Simon's side, "'M not sure.. maybe two?" You offer up, before Simon throws you down onto the couch playfully and gets on top of you.

He starts to plant kisses all up your stomach, then skipping your chest to kiss up your collarbone and shoulders. He kisses up your neck to your jaw, and you're giggling the entire time, squirming.

Then, he props himself up overtop of you to look into your eyes, "One or two?" He asks again, and all you do is giggle.

"it's getting colder every day." you tell him. "i was freezing today before class."

james pulls you to his chest as if you're telling him you feel cold now. he wraps his arm around you. "you should wear an extra layer." he murmurs, his lips pressed on your head.

"maybe i should." you agree. "can i borrow your scarf tomorrow?"

you have enough clothes at james's apartment, but not a scarf. "of course you can." he says. "you can have it all the time if you want."

a sound of thunderstorm breaks the cozy silence of the room. james pulls you closer. his hand covers yours, thumb rubbing your knuckles softly. his other hand finds the remote to pick something to watch.

"jamie, can you-" you almost yawn in the middle of the sentence. "can you rub my back, please?"

"so polite." he teases. "i can, it's literally my favorite thing to do."

his hands are so big, he can just use one of them to massage your neck, and the other one to draw circles on your back.

all you can do is leaving yourself to his hands. you've been missing his touch all day, feeling him all over you now does something to your brain. the implicit worries you carry in your mind ease off slowly. you can lose yourself in the safety james brings, these are the nicest minutes of your day.

"will you carry me to bed if i fall asleep?" you ask james with a hint of cheekiness in your sleepy voice.

"or i can just stay like this without moving you all night." he smirks. "i'm joking, love, of course i'll carry you."

reposting about my con experience with jared a few months later on here since laila bestie wanted to hear about it lol @rubyvhs <33 and since it was on my previous blog heh. probably more details from before because i was hugely freaking out back then lol

so i had a photo op with him and i did it with my sister!! that was first and then there was a panel with him, mark pellegrino, and alaina huffman!

it was very hot and humid in both places bc his photo op was the biggest so people were waiting outside and the door was open and all that. pretty poor circulation in his area unfortunately :,) and the q&a was in a tent outside thank fuck i brought my little handheld fan LOL anyways

it was hot... so he was all sweaty and flushed LOLLLL but someone on his staff was like wiping some of the sweat on his face in between the last photo ours so he was like "sorry, it's so hot!" and my sister and i were like "nonono take ur time don't worry." but obviously the photo ops are quite rushed so he brushed off the person helping out (politely ofc) very quickly so he could take the picture with us!!

also while i was waiting in line... i was setting my bag on the little table they had for them. and it gave a view of him and i was putting my bag down right as he ended his photo with someone. and when you're done he'll like look after you for a second and obviously i was staring at him. and you walk off i the direction of the table with bags obviously so you can grab it and so i made eye contact with him and he smiled at me before he had to take his next photo and i FREAKED LMAO i think he saw my face go 😳😳😳 shdkfhakjdfl. yeah

anyways back to the photo itself... i blacked out a little bc i don't remember the picture itself HAHA but as we walked up he was like "hi how are you guys :)))" and we were like "hi hi!! we're good thank you how are you??" and he was like "i'm good, thanks :)))" and idk if he said anything else because we took the picture and i blacked out teehee. and the whole time he was making such intense and purposeful eye contact i was like woah woah woah he's really tryna make this personal WOW !!!

but here comes the kicker !!!! basically he says like thank you all sweet and bye and all that but. but oh my god oh my fuck. i'd assume he does this for most folks but before/as we started to walk away he 100% gave each of us a quick but very sweet back rub and it fixed me. it fixed me oh my god. and i freaked out so bad LOLLLL i was like thanks!!! have a good day!!! 😳😳😳😳😳 @_@ kadkjflaskd and my sister and i walked away like... clinging to each other giggling like idiots etc. my knees buckled on several occasions. i sank to my knees in the line to get a second copy of the picture :,) and i need that again SO BADLY OH MY GODDDD it was so comforting and i think about it an unhealthy amount <3333

Now, I don't think he had much access to television, except when he was much younger and the slaughterhouse was still running. The one at the bar will also play old films or news stations that come in all funny. . . Anyways !! All of that absolutely applies to this too!! He's seen pretty boys on magazines that Drayton always glares at him for staring at them too long. He knows what girls are "supposed" to like and he feels confident in pulling it off. That's sort of where that desire begins and ends though. While I think the Slaughter family can care about looks- they each have personal, preferred taste- it's not high on their list of wants. She pouts, turning her head at her shoulders and swiveling her body- hands clenching her arms in a crisscross- away from him.

Johnny pulls a face. What had he done this time? He approaches her cautiously, as to not spook her- she had argued for him to leave her outside for right then. He wasn't having much of that.

"Darlin'?" His hand lands on her shoulder, not quite as gentle as he should be with his love. She turns her head the other way, hoping this will somehow make her able to evade any heated arguments. "Darlin', no no- c'mon."

He's not one to give up, though. Which- in this moment- she hates that was one of the qualities she fell in love with him over. The drive, compassion; the awful persistence he had.

She sniffles, not wanting to cry over some- dumb comment he made. A stupid inference of her body to something else. She had half the mind to be angry, instead. She couldn't be angry at Johnny, though. At least not so . . . forthright.

"S'just, you're always teasin me for my height, Johnny. And- and I know you're just holdin' your tongue about my body."

Johnny looks at her with an incredulous squint. "What?"

"I get it, Johnny. But it's no need to tease me for it." He's slow on the uptake. The gears finally turn and whirr into life. He sets his palm, steady and firm, to her shoulder. His fingers curling against her clothed body gently.

"Ah, sweet-cheeks. I think you're stunning. I haven't been teasin' ya." His lover interrupts him with a look. She returns her head strictly to its position.

"Yeah, yeah, I have been. I know. I love you, though. You're sweet, darlin. Hottest girl I've ever laid my eyes on. Now stop pouting." She's feeling much better already. She wants to pout more just to spite him, which makes her giggle audibly. "C'mon. Let me kiss you," he smiles when he hears her laugh. It's toothy, it's sharp. It's inviting, though. "Look at you, sweet thing. Smilin' already. C'mere."

She turns around, letting Johnny pull her into a tight embrace. Kissing the top of her head, her cheek, her pretty lips. Lips he hopes she'll let him kiss a dozen times over.

She still weeps in his arms, less from the residual sad feelings and more from just how sweet her man could be.

"Love you too, John."

Sorry for barging in but i'm embarrassed and I wrote this for you:

Tara isn't sure how it happened. Her and her huntress friend decided to have a girls night, just them two, at Tara's place. Tara wasn't sure why her friend insisted it be anywhere else, being that her fellow hunteress lived in SUCH a nice place. Then it was politely implied that a certain neighbor would be home that weekend, and it seemed to settle. It started as an innocent game of Twister. A retro game after a bottle of champagne. Giggling, they toppled over one another over, and over again. What she wasn't expecting is what was happening now. Her cards had warned her earlier in the week that something new and exciting was coming. She thought maybe she would finally be able to win the gacha she trying for, or she'd get some good news, or see a puppy. But this? This revelation was quite off the charts.

Her friend was /handsy/ tonight and not in a way that she ever expected.

"Hey silly!" Tara giggled at the feeling of her friends hand under her silk pajama top. Her friend was laughing, but also whining, slurring through her tipsy state.

"I wanna squish youuu." Tara gasped at the sensation, her friend had rolled herself on top of her, head pressed onto her chest, fully squishing her breast like her life depended on it.

"Squishh!!" Both girls laughed. But then the squishing kept happening. Tara wasn't sure where her shirt or the rest of her lacy bra went, or why her cheeks were so warm.

"My turn!" The other girl tried to make a run for it, but Tara was a hunter too. She maneuvered herself over the couch and caught her by the waist, wrestling until they were both on the carpet again with a loud thud, and Tara had her squish. Then a new sensation. Something warm and wet against her tongue. Someone /elses/. It tasted like strawberry and champagne.

"Ohh." She moaned, not expecting that sound out of her own mouth. Then that someone was on top of her, long hair brushing over her body, making her tingle all over. "I win!"

But it wasn't a competition Tara intended to lose. "You're on!" She exclaimed, grabbing the woman and flipping her over, to the best of her abilities.

That's the last thing Tara remembered. Both girls woke up passed out on the ground the next morning, embarrassed and exhausted.

"So, are we going to talk about last night?" Tara asks innocently enough with an ice pack to her head, fully clothed now.

Her friend pursed her lips. "What happened at girls night stayed at girls night. Since neither of us remember…"

Tara nods, guiltily. "Nothing happened."

Maybe nothing did. It's never mentioned between them again, but every time she looks at a bottle of champagne, she's not sure why she still craves strawberries. **sprints away**🌟

- Look I've warmed up to Courtney over the years (grew up) but I still think life is rough on her sorry bestie </3 suffering builds character

-I feel like (to her) she did everything "right" in life. Got over Duncan, went to law school, met a nice guy there, got married got a job....I think that when the kid was born like a year or two later he just. Dipped. Idk he packed up and left. Courtney was like obviously devastated but she made it work.

-Anyways my fankid for her is a boy named Atticus (shoutout to my rp partner for naming him<3333). He's a very well mannered, polite boy that has a love for classical music and mathematics. His strong traits are being independent, clear minded and stotic. Though, I think Courtney accidentally passed on some major trust issues and perfectionist traits to him, he gets worked up easily and therefore- easily distracted.

-Atticus has some trouble making friends, until he meets....

-Duncan's life has been. Interesting at the least. Got out of prison, managed to hold down a job long enough to buy a shitty apartment. Things were OK, he had a very brief relationship with some super fan he met fresh outta prison, heard nothing back until nine months later a CPS worker (or idk. Some official figure) handed him a newborn and a letter saying the baby was his.

-Duncan was like uh???? I guess??? And with a little help got adjusted surprisingly fast to being a young single dad. He spoiled the shit out of her and did everything in his power to stay out of trouble for her.

-The mom already named her Leah which tbh thank God because you know Duncan would've named her something lame like Raven. Leah is a firecracker of a girl, she loves fashion and wants to be a hair stylist. Her strong traits are outspoken, adventurous and loyal (strange coming from Duncan's daughter...). Unfortunately she is spoiled so she gets angry or bored quickly.

Atticus met Leah in Middle school maybe? Idk they met as children. Leah was his bully at first but Atticus kinda let her? He didn't really seem to mind or give her energy and that drove her crazy. They learned to be friends later on.

-Leah calls Atticus Andy which drives Courtney crazy because That Is Not His Name. But whatever we ball.

-Fun fact the first haircut Leah did was Atticus. She did a mohawk. Courtney nearly keeled over

-You know what I think the two bond over music. They both have a very mixed music taste (Atticus claims the screamo punk keeps him awake during studying and Leah likes to listen to classical while spray painting.)

First, I want to thank you for the politeness with which you asked this question.

Second I would like the make clear that reconciling my sexuality with my religion has not been easy and is still not easy. I thought it was for a while, but boy did the Lord go out of his way to show me how wrong that was (June was not a kind month me).

That out of the way, yes I do believe I can be gay and a christian. And I believe this because I am. I'm gay, cause I am attracted to guys, not because I want to be or something (trust me. I do not want to be). And I am Christian because Christianity is true (I do want this to be true, because it's the best). I am also African American, not because I chose this, but because I was born this. I am 17 because I was born 17 years ago and etc etc etc. I think you see my point? I am not a believer that one's sexuality is just something one chooses, you're born it and you have to deal with it. I was born gay, that's it. Now I've gotta deal.

Now, I am side b so that means I 1) interpret the scriptures to say that homosexual relationships are iniquity however much that hurts to type but also 2) I do not believe that this means I can't identify as gay or that I need to expect God to change my sexuality. That's absurd, at least imo.

People will identify as Republican and then say I can't identify as gay. Uhhhhh one of us can't control it and one of us is choosing to side with Babylon, check your eye bro.

And I do not believe that Jesus will change my sexuality any more than he'll change my ethnicity. No where in scripture is such a thing suggested. I'm born it. I am it. I've got to deal with it, for better and worse. To be clear: I am not saying Jesus can't, only that he won't.

A final thought: Being gay is not a sin. And neither is being a gay relationship. Do a word study on the word sin and you'll find that the words we translate sin theologically mean "to morally fail at something." It is my conviction that as images of God (and since God is Love) that to sin is thus to fail to love. So, being gay is not a sin. Telling people that they're going to hell or that God hates them for being gay is a sin and also a heresy. That said, you could make the argument that gay relationships are iniquity (crookedness; something straight made crooked), and since I am side b this is unfortunately my position.

Also I am firmly and completely against Conversion Therapy and I am very disappointed in Focus on the Family, an organization that was very important to my childhood. It breaks my heart and I consider such actions to be grave sin, iniquity, and transgression (betrayal).

Also, also I love my Side A family <3333. They are some of the most faith filled people so the hate they get is absurd.

I really wasn’t expecting this update out of nowhere. I was fully expecting to love the new chapter and I totally do. I reread the previous chapters to refresh my memory but embarking on the journey.

The stuff below from the recently released chapter.

Can I say, I was fully expecting to hate Nel, but he was like so sweet, making breakfast for her and like just being there all this time. It had me questioning if Jk had done wrong by testing him in a way. And also, JK, the dude has fallen so quickly and fast. It’s endearing that he fees this way but it’s like he’s putting so much meaning the one genuine female friendship he has. Him being with Adeline, felt so left wing, I mean the man is a walking place card with her. I wasn’t expecting him to go far with her in the physical relationship type of way. He’s wanted to normal and away from his title so to speak. The only step in that direction thats he’s done this far is the oc.(I have a weird thing with not putting myself as the reader, I instead have like a general character made) Oc thinking of jk is so me, like new friend thinking behavior exists.

I’m sooo excited to see what’s next… I have been working on just studying and planing for my future. Needless to say a very stressful phases in life, but this was a fresh breeze. So thanks for updating!

okay but I actually love that though. I wanted Nel to be kind of out of left field with readers not really knowing quite what to expect from him. And that seems to have been the case from the feedback I've received thus far!

I'm going to go author response here instead of character. Adaline is supposed to (in this specific point of left field and walking place card) be this reminder of who he is throughout this part of the story. As in "Prince of the largest kingdom in the realm." Because he cant just shut the royal part of his life off, he may be 'alone' at school, but he still has to placate his father, with whom he's already on thin ice with due to being at the school in the first place. So he quite literally is intentionally making himself into this walking placecard to be able to keep the real part of his life he's created (the directional step with OC). We have to remember the much larger much more complciated politics that come with his role outside the walls of the school. And then so part of the role he's playing for Adaline will be physical in that way.

My point is that I agree with your point completely, but it is done intentionally!

Me too!! Occasionally I will see parts of myself in OC'S and it's super fun, but in my head it's just a character 99.9% of the time! And YES. Your get it! They're new and shiny and you're excited to get to know all of the things and learn all the cool things about someone new! At least that's what I'm like and it's rubbed off on Reader.

How have you been, I’ve been seeing your posts but still?

Mostly good! I'm finally adjusting to the whole 9-5 thing. My circadian rhythym has never been in line with "normal" hours, so that has been the hardest thing to adjust too and adapt too, which is where most of my exhuastion is coming in. I'm working more on less sleep and so that's been g r e a t. BUT I'm getting there. Slowly and surely.

Oh! I have a question for you. You had mentioned once (i think?) that you were going to read TDWV and send in your thoughts. (this is by no means me saying/ telling you to read or review just to be clear☺♥) But just in case you had, I haven't received anything on my end and wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't ignoring you if tumblr ate it. Hi, huge Seonghwa lover and new to all of this stuff, so hope I'm doing it right!

So Seonghwa who is so used to cleaning and being everyone's mommy has you come along and kinda take charge of things for him so he can have a break. Like, not dating yet but it's what makes him fall for you, he gets so touched by someone doing the things he always has to do. And then him becoming super protective of you in a more manly way cause he's so smitten with you being so caring. Especially if he sees others try to take advantage of it.

I'd totally die to see fierce protector Seonghwa and he's so soft and caring for you. Like he gets it, so he appreciates it even more so he's sooo much more defensive of you. Not possessive at all, just wants to treasure you.

And you cook for him cause you're amazing at it and he's just head over cause we know the man loves his food.

no because seonghwa would REALLY appreciate if someone did this. i mean he's a naturally caring and nurturing person anyway, so it snot that it's a burden for him. but like any of us, it can be a bit tiring taking care of a lot of different aspects of other people's lives. we all need a break at some point. you being a close friend to him and the members is what helps you settle down into the roll of taking care of them. when seonghwa let's you take the reins and look after the rest, his heart is filed with great joy and a new found admiration for you :(

you know how to win his heart over with food (and this helps with the other members obviously). these guys are savages and will eat anything you put infront of them, waiting for the next thing to chew on.

seonghwa is defensive of you tho and makes sure the other members don't get too comfortable with just slacking off and making you do everything. will scold them for not having manners if they make you do extra stuff for them, despite you saying its okay. but he knows what it's like being in the position so he will protect you in that sense.

but overall this doesn't happen often because luckily the members are mostly very humble and polite <3333
