The time is 10:45 p.m. when you look up at your laptop. Not only do you have three papers to write (one being a minimum of eight pages), but you also have a group presentation and two in-person exams three hours long each. When library hours are over, you walk to another building where you spend more hours studying and writing. And by the time you get to your dorm, you go straight to sleep and repeat the process.

It doesn't take rocket science to know that you — and everyone on the campus — have absolutely abhorred exams. However, for the sake of your grades, you endure it and do what you can. As long as you have a proper place to study and stop by your campus café for some quick grub, so be it.

But now, you've been studying non-stop without wasting time on distractions. It's time to go; you'll probably call it a night and head for bad. Your productivity finally dwindled down to exhaustion. I'll jump onto Discord to chat with some friends and see what they've been up to. They're probably doing better than what I'm going through...And if he's still awake, I should definitely call—

As you put your bag on your shoulder, the sound of an engine catches your attention. A motorbike engine. At first, you figured it was coming from the main street until it started getting closer. Is someone ordering Doordash or something? Curiosity has you as you walk down the stairs to exit through the entrance, waving goodbye to the receptionist who's also getting ready to leave.

When you enter the chilly outside air, the owner of said noise is parked in front of the entrance, the vehicle stationed for him to lean back and briefly look at his phone before putting it away. They're wearing a dark denim jacket covering a black shirt and some jeans. And a jet-black helmet that shields them with their tinted visor. Their dark appearance fits the dreary, foggy atmosphere, the lampposts only making them visible to the eye.

You freeze for a second when the mysterious person turns to face you, and you offer an awkward smile and nod as a quick greeting before heading your way. But then the person removes their helmet to reveal themselves to you, and your eyes widen.

With slightly messy raven hair and green eyes that capture your figure, the man flashes a grin that pulls his scarred lip upwards. Toji Fushiguro, your boyfriend you haven't seen since Easter break, was here.

"Hey, baby." It feels like forever since you've heard his gruff voice, and it has you smiling hard in seconds.

"Toji!" You run up to him for a hug which is returned, sinking into his strong arms and warm chest while his cologne fills your nostrils. "What are you doing here?"

"Thought I could come down here and surprise my lil' angel," he sways you in his arms, relishing having you in his embrace. "I texted you that I was gonna pull up."

You withdraw from the hug and look at him with mild confusion. "You did?" You quickly grab your phone from your pocket and go to your messages, only to see that he, in fact, texted you earlier. Two hours ago. "You did...Sorry, must've left my phone when I was heading out to grab something to eat."

He shrugs and slides his hands down your waist to pull you close again. "How're your exams goin'?"

"Terrible." He chuckles when you give him a faux pout. "I got one paper out the way, but the others...at least I've started on them."

"Mmm, I bet." He responds with a hand on your cheek and your forehead. "Gonna head home to study some more?"

His big warm palm nestles perfectly against your cheek as you lean to his touch. "Nah, I'm too exhausted, and I'm too stressed to think anymore. That's for tomorrow."

Toji hums with a smile. "Well, think y'r too stressed to hang with me for a while? Maybe I can relieve some tension."

You raise a brow at him and his smug grin. "Oh yeah? How're you gonna do that?"

"Hop on so you can find out." The man removes his hands from you to open the trunk of his motorcycle, handing you a helmet — your helmet as it's your favorite color.

You give your boyfriend a look. "This better not be like last time when you took me to some random ramen place where we ate super spicy ramen to the point of boogers running down from my nose."

He laughs. "No, it's not gonna be like that. Now get your cute ass on so we can go, pumpkin."You still study his face, yet don't try to argue while putting on your helmet and take your spot behind him after putting your bag in the trunk.

When he knows you're appropriately sitting in the passenger seat with your arms linked around his waist, he starts the engine and revs the vehicle before moving. The two of you drive away from the school premise. You can only wonder where the man is taking you, but your trust in him has no bounds. And you just watch the lights and people of the vicinity fly past as you rest against him.

The two of you pulled up to a parking lot of a quiet park. No sign of children playing on the playground as it's way past their bedtimes, and not a single person on the basketball court playing a late game. Just the still park paired with the comforting silence and humid, cool air.

"No problem, kid." He pulls you by the waist to bring you close so he can rest his chin on your head. "Wanna spend the night at my place?"

"......Is that why you drove me like fifteen minutes away from my school?"

He doesn't answer.

"And I'm pretty sure we've been here before because isn't this the same park that Megumi and Tsumiki play at?"

"......"

You peer up to face the silent man. "Toji—"

The older man leans down to kiss your plump lips softly, silencing your words. With a heavy sigh, he puts his forehead atop yours. "I missed ya, kid."

The tiny confession takes you aback for a moment, but your smile appears for him to see. "Awww, did my big Toji miss having me all to himself~?"

"Shut up." He playfully bites your cheek, prompting giggles that sound like sweet music to his ears.

"I missed you too, Toji." You say with loving eyes. "Once I'm done with finals, take me on a nice long ride on your motorcycle, 'kay?"

He hums to your request and kisses you once more. "Sounds like a plan."

Currently writing a fic, but my audience consists of an elite group of zero readers lol. Any tips on how to promote before I start leaving anonymous reviews on my own work?

So....I don't know how I feel about the phrase 'promote'? Because yeah, like of course you want people to read it but like...imo the point of fandom isn't accruing a mass audience, it's about sharing your love of the fandom.

I think the best way to get people to read your writing is to make friends in the fandom. Find mutuals who like the same things and share your work with them. Because like...when I post something new, I get a lot more excited to see the reactions of people who I 'know' and people who consistently read my things than to see how many kudos it gets. Because those are the people who leave sweet comments and get so excited!

For a while I considered getting more into 'promotion.' like I made a tiktok and I considered making an instagram and I have NO judgement of people who do that but at this point, I just really like tumblr and discord because it feels more like a community here, and the whole things feels more genuine.

You can of course post your work here and other places and use the proper tags and you'll eventually start to build an audience but to be honest, to me, it's a lot more meaningful when people like your work when you get to talk about it with them too!

ALso remember that audience numbers aren't indicative of the quality of a work.

Welp I did it y'all, I met half of the main BG3 cast! Everyone was super kind of course, very chill too. Lines weren't bad at all, probably because it was an anime con? Which is great planning on my part haha. The longest line for me was Neil's (ofc), at only 1 hr and a few minutes to wait

Here's what I got signed:

I have to admit I was hella nervous and wasn't planning to see them on Day 1 when I was jetlagged and not super made up, but we finally mustered up the courage to talk to them starting with Lae'zel's VA Devora Wilde. Dev loved my partner's nails and recognized the leather underwear lol, she was like ":O is that her thingy--!?". She also gave us very British compliments when we first walked up (which I can't remember what it was now ofc), and I was like "you too! You look amazing!" And she really did, from what I can tell she always is very gorg and glam <3 She was like 🥺 when she saw our prints. She looked at them for a bit, admiring the prints, and asked if this was the scene at the end where she leaves on the dragon and I said "yeah, this was the scene where your acting as Lae'zel made me cry in my game!" which I think she was flattered by, and my partner mentioned that in their game their character was a githyanki who went with Lae'zel, and I think Dev realized that was the "bad ending" and made a jokingly horrified face haha. Anyway she seemed very touched by our interaction and called us "true Lae'zel fans" 💞 I think it went really well and she probably doesn't get many people who are really into Lae'zel coming up to chat, so it was probably a nice change of pace

Next we saw Theo, who was telling a story to the guy in front of me so I heard it too, which was about how he already knew the VA for Mizora, Tammy, so one day he was going to the studio to record, said hi to her, asked her who she was playing and she pointed to Mizora behind Wyll on the poster so he was like "wait, no. You're my enemy!?" Anyway he was super chill, we chatted about the con a bit. Theo was also very impressed and told me I had "the best hair" at the con when he saw me haha. He said it'll be jam packed tomorrow (Saturday), but I think since the venue was so large it wasn't too bad by then. When I showed him my print from my game he was like "Spoiler! I haven't gotten here yet!" and I was like "oops!" and we joked about spoiling it for him, but he wasn't being serious, and said he can't wait to get there, noting how Karlach and Wyll make a cute couple. I was like "you record lines out of order, yeah?" and he confirmed, talking about how sometimes he'll hear a line Wyll says and he doesn't remember saying it, but I mean, clearly he did haha. Anyway he was super relatable and easy to talk to, really enjoyed chatting with him and I look forward to popping into his streams.

Jennifer and Aliona were very sweet, Jen of course commented on my hair too, and I think Aliona walked away for a min to grab a snack cause Jen grabbed a quick bite of something and apologized to me right after, sheepishly noting that they don't get breaks 😭 but it was totally fine and I was patient & understood. I was only having Jennifer sign because it was getting expensive 😬 so it was also no biggie that Aliona used that opportunity to take a break. I complimented Jen's nails, which were a super cute blue and pink with sparkles pattern, and apparently it was an Arcane reference? She asked me if I'd seen it, I told her "no, it's on my list," but she was like "oh, it's really good you've got to see it!" then as we said our goodbyes she was like "promise me you'll watch it - Shadowheart demands you watch it!" lol so I guess I'll watch sooner rather than later haha.

I chatted a bit with someone before I got to Neil, I believe it was Blue from his streams/discord? Which I have been hesitant to watch or participate in to avoid ruining my BG3 immersion, but I will now since honestly they all seem like normal people and are nothing like their characters imo. It'd be weird to hear the "character voice" saying too much OOC haha. Anyway Blue was very nice, asking about my Tav while we waited and impressed by the handmade Darkmoons earrings I was wearing which were the same as my Tav's 💖

Neil was very sweet; I walked up and he was like "wow, your hair," and I complimented him on his nails, which were like a pretty black/silver/blue? color, and he seemed genuinely flattered (idk anymore, all of it was a blur - I imagine most dudes don't get nail compliments so I like to give em out when I see it). He saw my print and was like "oh I see it's true love then" lol and I was like "yeahhhh" and mentioned that Astarion was my favorite. He asked what we were writing and I said "it's time to try living again" to which he responded "that's a good one." I also told him that I've played for 1400 hours and he was shocked, he was like "1400?" And I elaborated saying since Feb I've played it in like all of my free time when not working and he was still very shocked, like "since feburary!?" I was like "I know, I'm crazy" lol. But I told him thank you for all his hard work and that I use freecam to zoom out and see all his mocap, which was so well done, and he was very appreciative of that. He seemed pretty tired and jetlagged himself, stretching before the pic, and very sincerely respectfully asked me if it was okay to put his arm around me for it, which of course it was. We did a selfie and it's probs obvious I was nervous but I tried to relax and look natural for the pic (the attendant takes it so.. not really a selfie but whatevs). I saw him giving hugs before it was my turn, so as he was about to say bye I asked him for one and he agreed. I said afterwards to him "you're so nice!" And he did his usual peace/bow before turning to the next person in line. Also, I was still so short next to him even in my 4in heels, he literally had to bend down to hug me 😭

Orin's VA was there and I considered meeting Maggie too, but I didn't realize she'd be there until the last min before my trip and I felt weird about going up to say hi without buying anything 😭 I could have gotten an art print I suppose? But as I said, it was getting expensive, and I wasn't familiar with Lady Dimitrescu outside of memes

I did have a strong temptation to go back and chitchat if their lines were empty, but I felt weird about doing that without paying for something cause like, it's probably a bit of a faux pax right? Just seemed like it might be awkward even though it would be fun to discuss what their process was or what it was like to record and do mocap etc etc

Anyway on Saturday I wore my Tav eye makeup and we saw the BG3 panel, which was mostly silly and not very informative, but I guess after a year of doing these they've gotten a bit more chaotic haha

There was also a Baldur's Gate 3 themed photoshoot area that we took pics in front of, and Sungwon Cho, ProZD was also there, so we went up to say hi and let him know that we love his comedy and quote several of his skits almost daily. He was like "I'm honored" and asked us if we wanted a pic, which of course we did. I felt a little bad that I didn't know his actual VA work that well since I'm guessing he'd prefer that, but what do I know 😅

Anyway all in all a good time! Not bad for the first con in 15 years, maybe I'll go to another one if the cast comes to the SF bay area or if Gale and Karlach's or any of the extended cast come to Norcal

However, it's time to make my pick too, as in the process of writing this post I finally understood the assignment, and thus came up with something.

What's ADHD? As this blog demonstrates, sometimes it's being hyperfocused on something exciting, much to the detriment of things that actually matter in daily life. Sometimes it's said focus earning amazing results that seem disproportionate to one's means. Sometimes it's taking comfort in the routine, in deeply ingrained habits and tradition that still have to constantly be actively enforced as conscious choice. Sometimes it's being darty, shooting from point to point with speed other minds can't even keep up with. Sometimes it's having too much energy to contain. Sometimes it's... being loud? Oh really! I thought I was just being Italian!

And if you've read my 100th post, you'll know a car that fits that description to a T. (And if you haven't, click on here before reading on because you really want to.)

Indeed, what could be a better pick than a car that's stayed the same for nigh on seven decades in its devoted preservation of its ability to dart around like nothing else on the road, a car so perfromance-focused the comfort spec is the one that gets windows, a car not one bit less deafening than legally required? Preferred communication: Discord doesn't gobble up messages, so that's truly the best place! However, I still try to answer tumblr IM's as well. I also have telegram if anyone wants it. . . . it's collecting dust!

Experience: Yikes, this dates back to when I was much younger, and before I even used the internet for roleplaying. I started off writing on pen and paper with my cousin and a bunch of friends. We would pass paper or journals back and forth, taking turns writing out scenes or responses from a variety of characters. Mostly, at those times, it was for Teen Titans, Naruto, Bleach, and a few others. I'm going to safely say that early high school was when I took it online, starting off on a couple of forums and chat rooms [ namely, Chatango ]. I frequently roleplayed via text message, email, and instant messengers. I still do this with like, one person via FB Messenger, lol. I occasionally roleplay on Discord, too.

Preferred roleplay type: I gravitate towards whatever my mood and energy seeks out. Unfortunately, I used to do things in a very organized manner, but that time has long since passed me. I am easily exhausted, distracted, and just. . . can't keep up! I prefer things with some substance, but I'm not strict on moving larger plots unless we've communicated it or have a larger goal in mind for our writing. I love just having fun and going with the flow! I'm open to most types, too, though I don't typically do single-liners unless it's like. . . me being goofy on the dash.

Pet peeves & dealbreakers: Automatic assumption of our characters knowing each other! Unless we have talked it over, or your muse is a canon character within the universe that he's interacted with, please don't do this! It makes me [ and Stolas ] uncomfortable!

Absolute dealbreaker - If you think Stolas is an abuser / disregard his being in an abusive relationship, my blog is NOT for you. I've made this clear a few times and wrote up a whole PSA for my portrayal!

Shipping - I've said it a few times, and I'm always willing to go over it for anyone curious, but my Stolas WILL NOT have any sexual or romantic interest in women. At most, if talked through with the other mun's, you'll get a little drunken flirtation. But there will be NO follow up. That being said, I can be a shipping whore [ affectionate ]. I love shipping! And if Stolas finds you attractive, then damn, he WILL flirt! However. . . . I will never just auto-ship with anyone, and I will be taking into consideration how Stolas would / wouldn't feel with your character. There needs to be some sort of interactions to base these things off of before we get into the big stuff. Again, though, if you see something that makes you tilt your head, it's probably because the mun and I have talked privately and are in cahoots with the idea!

Drama - Please don't pull me into it if it can be avoided. I am 30 years old, I did my time of tumblr dramas back in like, 2010. I am here for a good time, not a long time! If I gotta just up and leave, I will. Unless there is some serious shit I need to know, I will NOT be getting involved.

And one last dealbreaker. . . If you're treating this and your partners like there's a time limit, you definitely don't want to write with me! This is what I do for fun, to relax, to explore my writing abilities, sharpen them, and interact with people that don't exhaust me! So if you're going to put a time limit or anything of the sort on our interactions, I'm gonna' lose interest sooooo fast. Absolutely NOTHING I ever send or offer expires. You're also free to just delete it if you lost interest. That wonky ass 2am ask I sent you? Delete it if you don't wanna answer it!

Best time to write: The weekends, since I don't work. And, honestly, night time! It's when things are the calmest for me.

I’m shocked that the fandom is alive enough for you to post multiple times a day. My dash is nearly dry of anything sp related (besides this blog)

To be entirely fair, it is, like. Bursts of activity. That I try to prolong with the queue. And lately I've been having to fold back in older posts, try (painfully) to sort through my drafts, or make the content myself lol. I've also been trying to like.. loosen up on what I will and won't post, I suppose, 'cause in the past I've DEFINITELY passed some stuff up based on vibes or too loose an association, in my mind at least. If I see it these days, odds are fairly high it ends up here though! (Even if I am Grinding My Teeth as I do so /j)

But, yeah, people are still very much into Scott Pilgrim! People get in and out of things in waves; I've even seen some people post about just now getting around to Takes Off (without further context to know if that's their introduction or not, not that it really matters much I suppose.)

I think a lot of fandom discussion has possibly moved away from tumblr and more into discord communities, which is why you'll find a bit of a post shortage. (I base this on an. Apparently five hour argument that happened in a discord my friend's in about Scott Pilgrim characters. You don't want to know what about, probably 💀 but that's still 5 hours of Passionate Stances from more than two people! And that wasn’t even a SP specific discord, so far as I'm aware!)

That or people aren't taggin' their stuff ¯\_(･･)_/¯ which is always a possibility. I actually didn't follow a lot of people back in the initial Burst of fandom activity, so untagged/oddly tagged posts that might have been made that I otherwise would love to have here, are unlikely to end up here, most unfortunately. (This is part of why I encourage sending me stuff!)

But like, even just in the discords I am in, there's still activity. I know one person who is currently working on a new AU, for something more specific! And they're also still putting out headcanons now and again. And I'm personally still working on fics and more ask answers in the background, even if you might not see some of that for a while ^^'

I had fun with this one. As ya'll know, Riley is quite protective over those she cares about (she's also an FBI agent so if you hurt Penny you probably won't be seen the next day). Riley is always gonna make sure that those who decide to fuck around are gonna find out. After all, karma is a bitch.

Winter: 22

Ah Winter, my sassy lesbian queen. Winter has always been fun to write due to how positive and fun she is. Teasing Jack, being lovey dovey with Riley and hyping up Penny as well. She would be one of those people who throw the wildest parties and dread cleaning up the next day, but doesn't care as long as she and others are having fun.

Amber: Tolerate It

Lay the table with the fancy shit. And watch you tolerate it

Amber, mother of two and the ex of the man that everyone in discord wants dead. This reflects what her marriage to David was like and her releasing how awful he was after they divorced. Amber is a strong and protective mother bear, but she was hurt first emotionally to become that strong. Sometimes there will be moments will break, but she always picks herself back up for her girls, David forgotten at the back of her mind for their sake.

Let's go! Let's go lesbians let's go!!! The yuri deserve a nice lovey dovey song. These two are just so sweet with one another and the reason why Jack and Penny got together (much to Riley's disappointment lol) and they deserve all the happiness. And yes this song was in their wedding playlist.

This song is definitely a parallel of Penny and Riley's sisterhood, especially growing up with David still in the picture. Riley doing her job as an older sister, shielding her little sister whenever David wanted to target her with his verbal abuse. Riley hates every fibre of her father's being, it only got worse after he involved Penny in the car accident. No matter what, even as adults, Riley will always protect her baby sister from everything...until the day she couldn't.

Winter & Jax/Jack: The Best Day

This was how Winter viewed her and Jack when he moved in with her family. Jack is and always will be her little brother, even if they aren't blood related. Hehe ya'll gonna hate me for this one. But yeah, after Penny went missing, it hit Amber like a freight train. Penny was her baby, she watched her daughter go through hell and back, and helped with her healing, watched her fall in love, comforted her through her heartbreak and the next day she disappeared, and no one can find her. She grieves her daughter every day, as though she truly passed away. She and Penny had a relationship like no other, there's nothing stronger than a mother's love for her child.

While Amber loves Penny, never once did she neglect Riley or see her problems as inferior. She loves both her babies more than anything. This song is kinda reminiscent of chapter 3 (with Amber reassuring Riley that she's not wrong to feel upset with her dad), but also Amber teaching Riley what she knows and so she doesn't make the same mistakes as she did.

Let's end it off bittersweet with our three girls. This is reminiscing over her daughters, more so the good moments of their childhood (David isn't in these memories which isn't a surprise). It kind of hits Amber when she sees her girls all grown up and living their own lives, just how far they've come since they were kids. She gave birth to them, helped them take their first steps, cried at their first words, dropped them off both at their first days at school, teasing Riley over her first crush on a girl, comforting and spending each day Penny was in hospital after the accident, letting them cry in her shoulder over David leaving, reassured Riley that she wasn't abandoning Penny once the older of the two left for college, helped Penny overcome her eating habits, watched her girls fall in love. It leaves her tearful and proud of how much they've grown.

Hello everyone. This is something I've actually been considering for some time and I've decided to finally give it a go.

As of right now, Angie and Donna and Moreau are all on hiatus. I'll probably still check in now and then out of habit, but don't expect much from me.

Honestly, a lot about Tumblr rp has weighed on me for a little while now and I find myself getting unhappy over various things here and there. But I still logged in because I did make a lot of friends here and well. I've been at it so long, I kind of didn't really know what else to do? It's been something I've kind of wanted to do, kind of not wanted to do... But I've been putting off trying it long enough now that I might as well try it and see what the other side is like.

No, this isn't a direct reaction to anything. It's honestly been a long time coming now. I obviously need to focus on myself and try to get myself into a better place and I don't think Tumblr rp is going to help me. I'd argue it's actually been a sort of vice to me for the past two or three muses- at least a decade. People may joke about internet addiction sometimes, but I think I may have some form of it and I want to try to shake it.

So thank you to those that enjoyed playing with me! Thank you to everyone that were patient with me! I'm happy that I was able to play Angie in a way that you could like her and maybe the next time you play RE:VII you'll think of my girl just a little! <3

I'm gonna maybe pop in here or there the next few days before really trying to avoid things. With all that said, I'll also say... Again, I'm a creature of habit and I'd dare call this addicting. This really is something I'm gonna have to focus on and I just might fail. But in the end, I am hoping that I will come back after some time. How long, I'm not sure, but hopefully when I've worked on myself and I can do better!

Yeah I actually have a tag on my blog here for when I talked about the story before, #my vampire novel (you can click to go to the tag and see what all is in there)

One of the first things you'll probably see there is from like two years ago when I was posting it to Wattpad, and while Wattpad doesn't have every chapter yet it's further ahead than the story is on AO3. Once AO3 catches up to that point though I plan to post to both sites until it's fully uploaded

There might be some spoiler-y stuff in that tag too though! I'm pretty vague about future events in the story but I still talk about stuff that happens later, so. Just be careful in there, lol. If you go back far enough you'll see me talking about wanting to get it officially published and so on, but. In the end I decided I didn't want to do all that

It's a story I just enjoy for it's own sake, and I want to share it with the world for free. If I DO want to publish something original, well. I have a couple other ancient plot weasels I can dust off and turn into a novel. I'm not that worried about it tho, I think writing would stop being fun as soon as I try to monetize it, so

What is your total AO3 word count? Well.. you see.. 501,371. ..Huh I the chap I just posted cracked the 500k count ! Congrats to me ig !

What fandoms do you write for? The Hunger Games ! I have some Star Wars fics on my AO3 from years ago, but 96.2% of those words are THG so. hjvbdhvhbddfbh

What are your top five fics by kudos? Sighs really heavily. So I pretty much only write OC stuff for THG, which means that the 3.8% of Star Wars fics are taking 3/5 spots on the top 5 kudos ranking. F in the chat. So starting at the most, we've got: Lessons Unlearned (SW), Is That Really Me? (SW), True Vengeance (THG), Widow's Bite (THG), and Take My Hand (SW). None of those SW fics are over 2k while True Vengeance is probably going to hit 300k by the time it's over... Really interesting to see the statistics of what it looks like to write in a larger fandom vs a smaller fandom tbh :0

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Absolutely !! I love reading what people think about my writing. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Hm.. Maybe Reparation Clause or True Vengeance? Granted, I haven't written the ending of TrV yet but given that I've killed off all of Ven's arena friends uhh.. yeah. The Bridges We Burn could also possibly fall under this category... Turns out there is no shortage of angst when you write for the child death pageant fandom jdvvbhdf

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Now that's a harder question, rip. I do generally try to end my Victor Exchange fics on happier notes (Destined to Fall, Desiderium, The Bridges We Burn). I think Widow's Bite and No Sleep for the Wicked also end on more positive notes..? I wouldn't exactly call it Happy though.. (maybe some of my Star Wars fics would qualify, but I do not feel like talking about them LMAO)

Do you get hate on your fic? No, I'm perfect (insert sunglasses emoji here) /j I don't think I've ever gotten straight-up hate comments on my fics before though. I've gotten some criticisms (one person wasn't happy about the fact that the Games continue after the events of True Vengeance, according to the other fics on my profile hvfhvbf), but nothing that's ever put me down about my writing. ...Do affectionate death threats count as hate? (my friends are Goofy bhjdfbvhd)

Do you write smut? If I do, you'll never know BHVF. Ok for real though, it's not really my jam as a writer. Worth trying probably to step out of my comfort zone, but definitely not something I'd ever post. Sorry guys.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Afaik, no. Not in terms of straight-up ripping the text. I think I've had some ideas borrowed, but like. Who give a fuck LOL. As my one friend likes to say often, there are no new ideas in THG (in terms of things like arenas, quell twists, tribute concepts). What makes something unique is having different authors writing and interpreting said concepts !

Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but I've thought about translating one of mine into French myself as a way of practice.. Never got around to it though, alas.

Have you ever co-written a fic? Ooh, so Technically, no... BUT. I do create tribute characters for SYOT (Submit Your Own Tribute) fics, which is more of a collaboration than co-writing. I also have three fics I've written for the Victor Exchange event in the SYOT Verses discord server where the pov victor characters were created by another author and I wrote their stories (and I received a fic for the victor character I created!) So again, not Reeeally co-writing, but. Collaboration !!! Uhh I was really into Barriss/Ahsoka in high school. FinnRey starwar is also<3

What are your writing strengths? Ooh I love writing dialogue, and also fight scenes!! Description is fun too c: But yeah, I have been called the fight scene queen by a friend once so I think that counts as a strength LOL.

What are your writing weaknesses? I have no weaknesses I'm perfect (sunglasses emoji). /J bvhjfvfbh.. I'm Slow. I get hung up sometimes on structure/style things while writing and it makes the process take a bit longer. I think also sometimes I tend to meander a bit... I could use a lesson in conciseness jvhhbfv.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? It seems like good practice !! Like I said, I had wanted to translate one of my fics into French as practice.. Not sure if that's what this question is asking, or more of like. A bilingual character or something..? Idk ! I think if it's something that you want to get better at, it would also be wise to get concrit from a native speaker on how natural it sounds.

7.) Q - Can I repost your art?

A - Please don't repost my art unless credit is given/you link to one of my accounts! Please don't repost my art without my watermark (the TD signature) or with it cropped in pretty much any way. I'd prefer it wasn't resposted at all, but if you do please add credit! My art is something I hold very dear to my heart and something I value a lot.

8.) Q - What program/tablet/brush do you use?

A - I use multiple programs! Mainly procreate for a lot of the things I post, with that I use an Apple Pencil (1st gen) and a 9th gen iPad. For the brush, I usually use the teyoid lineart brush that I got off Pinterest, and the hard round brush for shading and coloring. I also use CSP (Clip Studio Paint), especially when I draw on PC, with a pc I use a Gaomon PD1161 . And for the brushes, I mostly use this peachy’s somewhat dry ink brush for lineart, and then the default g-pen for coloring/shading.

9.) Q - do you have other social medias/where can I find you?

A - I do! I have a plethora of other socials, you can find me almost anywhere under Toucan Drawz, Toucan_Drawz, or anything along those lines! I don’t have specific links, since, well, I think I have too many socials to count. But I’m most active on tumblr out of all the socials medias that aren’t basically a messaging app (looking at you, discord).

10.) Q - Can i recreate your art?

A - No, please don’t. My art is very dear to me, and I don’t want it recreated. Imo recreation is different to tracing (in a learning environment) or heavily referencing, because it’s basically just remaking something, but changing it a little or not changing it at all. Even if it’s with a different medium, it makes me uncomfortable. Using the same pose/scene idea is absolutely okay! And if my art makes you feel inspired enough to want to, I’m glad! :D But please, do not recreate my art.

Hi! Your Hivecraft server looks really interesting! I've seen someone play on a server modded with what is essentially a first person rpg version of Sburb, but I've never seen anyone do an Alternia based map before! That's really cool!!!!! I have a few questions about it tho:

1. Will you be able to choose if you're a Human or a Troll?

2. If you can, will you be able to choose your blood colour as a Troll? Or is there some kind of mechanism for that?

3. Will Trolls have lusii? And if they do, can you choose what they are?

4. Will the server be private?

5. If it's not, will it be only PC accessible or will there be PC and Mobile versions?

6. Will you add the Minestuck mod or is this more of a 'Slice of Life, Living on Alternia' kinda thing?

7. Any unique resources like Sopor Slime?

8. Will there be any Persterchum or Trollian-like thing on to allow players to communicate?

9. Even if there isn't, can the players still have speech quirks?

That's all of my questions for now! Hopefully you'll have time to answer them!

Thank you! I've heard of people doing stuff like that but I was always more of a fan of the alternia themed world building etc. This is my first time playing Minecraft though so this project is sort of a learning experience.

Lots of good questions here so I'll do my best to answer

1. I don't think that's something I'm gonna manage for people, they can change their skins if they want or make custom models but I'm not sure that I could implement that for other people myself

2. As far as I know I don't think Minecraft has any sort of blood effects unless a mod or resource pack is installed but I don't have anything like that here so far. I AM planning to make some placeable items that look like blood splatters in different colors though

3. I can make mobs of lusii in the future that just act as animals do in game so I'm sure people could tame them and give them name tags so they don't despawn. I've already made some purple bees and I do wanna play with custom mob models later

4. I think I'll probably make a discord for it later where I can see how many people are interested and get it opened once things are more built out. It'll be open publicly then but I don't wanna pay for server hosting every month so it can only be open if I'm actually online

5. I think Minecraft in general is capable of cross console play?? I could be wrong but I'm working on PC so idk how well mobile would work especially with resource packs

6. I've never heard of that mod before tbh but I'm trying so far to not use mods and only use resource packs I'm making because that way everything can be server side and people don't have to download to join. This might change depending on what I wanna put in though. I sort of imagined more as a "slice of life thing" in survival mode. Just a fun alien sandbox for people to play in

7. FUNNY U SAY THAT I did TRY to make a sopor liquid in MCreator and technically succeeded. It had its own properties and everything

Unfortunately, MCreator only works on 1.19.2 and I've been making everything else on 1.19.3 😔 I tried testing it out in a 1.19.2 world but it just didn't wanna cooperate. I'll probably just have to wait until MCreator updates to 1.20...

8. I think just the current in game chat will be what's used or people can discord each other if they like

9. They can if they type that way sure! I think there's websites where u can basically "translate" whatever you type into a custom quirk but it won't be implemented in the server specifically. People will have to type that way themselves, same as making skins

I am not opening this chat - Drew exahled staring at newest message that was sent 6 days ago - He is with those freaks I'm not gonna.. - he quickly turned off his phone and throw it on the other side of bed, just in case if he wanted to open the chat.

After a while magenta-haired just flopped onto the bed and closed eyes. He has no idea how long he was like that but the sound of notification woke him up. Drew took the phone and saw father's message.

Of course they are sending money because their business trip will take longer - Drew laughed - as always.

It took over 15 minutes before he finally got up and decided to eat something. Kitchen was quiet, painfully loud quiet. Drew quickly opened the fridge and grabbed food he ordered yesterday. He went up to the room closing the door and sitting on the floor. Games were probably the only interesting thing left so decided to play while waiting.
