POV: Percy thinks you’re an angel

The fake wings on the back of your dress itched your skin.

You sat there, awaiting your eventual name call so you could sit in front of the blue background.

You were doing a promo shoot for Wednesday, they gave you an outfit sorta separate from others.

It had wings, iridescent wings, a white mini dress that only went up to my mid thighs, topped with knee high socks and black combat boots.

The next thing you knew, you were called out from backstage to sit next to Percy.

You sat down next to him, and did just as they instructed.

Your legs were draped over his lap, you laid on your stomach as he put in hand over your back.

A relaxed pout on your face as they got their shots of you and him together.

Surely the fans would go fucking wild.

You grunted as you rolled off of Percy for the next pose.

“You good?” “Meh, better than usual.” You proclaimed as you sat up from your childlike spot as he stood over you.

He came over to you, and whispered in your ear, “I hope you know that you look like an angel right now.”

A giddy smile took over your face as you stood next to him.

They began to shoot more photos, catching you and Percy laughing even at possibly nothing, or the silly faces he began making at you.

Great job, you dumbasses will make the greatest promo shoot ever.

so hi, a week or two ago i made a post about the percy situation and i mentioned a book i have planned and i wanted to see if any of ya’ll would be interested in reading it if i put it out, and just for fun heres another little idea for another book idea i had for another one of his characters

Y/N watched as Andy made his way inside their room and threw himself next to you, burying his face on your stomach. "This whole training thing tires me out." he muttered. Giggling you just put your book down and ran your fingers through his hair.

"You can't complain, you're getting stronger, and that's what you've always wanted, didn't you?" you asked,

Andy peeked up at you and gave you a small smile. "But still, it's all too much."

You just smiled and silently used your powers to make him relax, Andy let out a small breath of relief and then turned to you. "Thanks for that, by the way."

"Anytime." you replied, smiling. "So, have they gotten anything out on that new girl?"

Andy let out small sigh and shrugged. "I don't know, she's not talking."

You let out a small hum. "Can I be honest with you?" you asked.

Andy frowned and sat up. "What's up?"

You looked at him for the longest time and then let out a small shudder. "Earlier when you all brought her in, I felt her every emotion. Andy, I don't trust her, she feels sinister."

Andy frowned. "Babe, are sure what you felt was correctly? We just rescued her from a mental hospital."

You frowned. "I know what I felt Andy, it didn't feel much of fear, considering that, that hospital did things to mutants in there."

Andy sighed. "Y/N..." he began but didn't continue because suddenly he began to feel angry, and he was pretty sure he knew it was coming for his girlfriend.

"I know what I felt Andy, why don't you want to believe me?" you snarled.

Andy placed his hand on your cheek. "Baby, calm down. I'm sorry, I shouldn't question it, but Reeva wanted her, and if she wanted the girl then it must be for a good reason." he explained.

You just looked into his eyes. "I know what I felt."

Andy just let out a sigh and leaned to peck your lips. "C'mon, why don't we just do something and not worry about that right now, and talk about it later, when you won't affect the rest of this house." he said softly.

You just let out a small sigh and calmed down. "Sorry, you're right." you gave him a small smile and grabbed a game control and gave him a small smirk. "You up for a small game?"

Andy smiled and grabbed the other one. "You're on."

You just stared at the binoculars, staring at Reeva and another man talking, while Lorna was besides you, waiting.

“What are they even doing?” Lorna asked.

You just let out tired sigh. “They’re just talking.” You replied. “I’m getting tired of just sitting here and staring, she hasn’t given no signal.”

Lorna just let out an annoyed sigh, while you continued watching over Reeva, it was silent for about a minute when you finally decided to speak up. “Lorna, can I tell you something?”

“Sure, what’s up kiddo?”  

You took a deep breath in and released it. “I don’t think having that new girl with us, is safe, I got a look into her emotions, and she felt sinister, very dark, and I’m not talking about the fact that being in that hell hole did something, I’m talking that she already had this before.”

Lorna stayed silent and turned to you. “What do you mean?”

“I don’t know how to explain it, but she feels darker than any of us.” You whispered to her. Lorna stayed silent and before she can say anything, Reeva gave you the signal, you straighten up and started to focus on the man, you made sure that you were calm and serene, after that Reeva gave you the signal to look away, and you did just that, making sure that you kept your power over him.

Lorna just watched you and after getting the call from Reeva that the job was done the both of you went back and neither of you talked about what you had said out on the job.

“So, how’s it going with that girl?” you asked, once the both of arrived back home.  

“You mean Rebecca?” Lorna asked, you nodded as the both of you got out the elevator, and walked towards the triplets were. You looked around and frowned when you didn’t feel Andy. “Where’s Andy?” 

“Andy took her out.” Esme replied.

“Something about treating her like a human being.” Sophie then added.

“He’s trying to help us to join us and train with us.” Phoebe finished off.

You just nodded at the three of them, and when all of you heard the elevator come up, you happily turned around, ready to welcome Andy, home when you saw the last thing, you’d ever expect him to do. Him and Rebecca kissing. You let out a shaky breath

“Andy?” you managed to croak out, in such a raw pained voice that no one ever heard you say. Andy turned eye wide at you and he began to stutter his words out, but nothing stopped the hurt and betrayal you started to portray. “How could you?”

“Y/N.” Andy tried to say, as he took a step forward but, you let out a loud sob and ran off the room that you both shared and started to pack as many clothes with you. Lorna, the triplets, and Andy  were at the door all yelling at you, affected by the accidental emotional attack, that you caused.

Still that didn’t stop you, you grabbed your things are started to leave, Andy was still trying to stop you, explaining everything, but still you wouldn’t budge, you just continued to run away and ignoring them all.

“Y/N, stop, please baby, I didn’t do it, I didn’t-” but Andy stopped his emotions getting the best of him.  

You turned back and you saw everyone looking at you worried. Biting back a sob, you looked at Andy and ripped off the necklace he gave you and threw it at him. “We’re done.” You said and left before they can even stop.

Andy just stared at the necklace on the floor, and then at Lorna who stood in front of him. Slowly he walked towards the necklace and broke down as he picked it up, angry and sad that he lost his love, the person that made him the happiest guy in the world.

I loved the Lauren and Andy dream where they talked about how it was OK to do whatever they wanted because it was dream, how much they missed being together, and the connection they feel. I love not only what it reveals about their close relationship, but how suggestive it was. Giving a nod to the Von Strucker twins relationship in the source material, acknowledging Andy and Lauren's roles as two halves of one whole/soulmates, and how it toes the line without explicitly crossing it. I hope the whole series keeps it up.

Summary: Andy and Y/N used to be together, but after Andy joined the Inner Circle, and Y/N found a way to make her spy-plan work, they weren't on a good hand

Reader description: Y/N is a mutant who as a kid used to train with Lorna. She saw her as an older sister and when she grew up Lorna was her best friend. Y/N can control temperature, that's why she can create a snow, and controls sound.

Warnings: fluff at the beginning, little angst at the end

Your giggle filled the night world, making boy next to you also laugh. His eyes were following your fingers as they were moving, making snow fall on your hand. The snow you've created out of the pouring rain.

"We need to come back inside." you whispered as you looked at you two, totally soaked wet. "Your mum will be mad at me for keeping you out in a rain. At night. I am dead. I need to say goodbye to everyone."

"I will protect you." Andy ran his fingers through your hair and smiled at you with admiration in his eyes. "Don't worry about her."

"My knight." you laughed as you moved closer to the boy, your lips almost touching, only to quickly get up and look at the brown haired from above. "Let's go, knight. Or you will get ill and I will have to protect you."

"Ay." Andy followed your move up and chuckled as you again dodged him and his kiss. "Don't tease me."

"Or what, mr von Strucker?" you laughed as you disappeared for a second behind a column. "Should I be scared?"

"I don't know, should you?" Andy suddenly appeared in front of you with his unique smile you loved so much and this light in his dark eyes. "Are you scared?"

"Not at all." you tiptoed to reach his lips with yours, your eyes closed along with his as Andy's hand moved to the side of your neck and rested there.

The kiss was gentle yet passionate, full of unsaid words, not shown feelings....

And that was only a memory...one of many you had, but the one which you have been recollecting the most these days when you were observing now white haired Andy with a new chick, Rebecca, going out together as you were babysitting Dawn.

You weren't the member of the Inner Circle, but you somehow managed to get them to let you stay as a babysitter. It's not like it wasn't your plan from the beginning.

"Hi. Is she okay?" When only you heard the door, you wiped out your tears as fast as possible so Lorna who came in wouldn't see them.

"Yeah. She's sleeping." you looked at the baby and faked a smile. "She's so lucky to be your baby."

"You were once mine as well." Lorna reminded you of times when she had been your teacher, older sister and best friend, when you both had been fighting arm by arm against Sentinel Services. "I still see you as my little sister. But siblings part, that's life. And those...those are our paths. Those are our choices."

"I know." the cradle swung slightly once or twice under your touch. "I know."

"We will be back late." said Lorna before she kissed her baby's forehead and left the room.

You've never tried to leave the building...why? You didn't have the answer for that question but when the Inner Circle, without Sage and Esme, left, you started thinking about it. I mean, you had this weird bracelet but it's never done anything. It for wasn't like those collars in the prisons everyone had been talking about. Nothing could actually go bad, right? You decided to try that out. I wouldn't call that sneaking out, but it was like sneaking out...

"I am going to the kitchen...for a snack." you informed two left women in the operation room as you headed to the stairs and went downstairs.

When you were sure no one was around, your only way out of the building was an elevator. And that was your mistake. As soon as you touched the button to call the elevator, the bracelet on your wrist electrocuted you and knocked on the floor.

"Are you going somewhere?" Reeva, Andy and Lorna came out of the elevator.

When the white haired boy saw you on the floor and in pain he immediately knelt by your side.

"Y/N." he whispered and tried to help you get up. "Are you okay?"

"Get away from me!" you yelled and with your powers, a tunnel of sound, you pushed him few meters away. "Go to your new girlfriend. She needs you more than I do."

"You see what you get from trying to leave." Reeva squatted next to you and pointed at the bracelet. "It presses two arteries on your wrist...if electrocuted enough, they can knock you out easily. The sensors in the buttons activate the bracelet...you can't leave. Lock her somewhere."

"But Dawn needs her." opposed Lorna.

"Then lock her in your room." Reeva walked pass everyone and headed upstairs.

Andy got up from the floor and looked at still curled up girl with sadness in his eyes. They used to be close...now it all was gone.

"Let's go." Lorna grabbed you by arm and helped climb up to the next floor. "I don't want to lock you down. I really don't. I will have to."

"Then do." your voice was cold like the snow you could create. "I won't hurt, Dawn. I am not that evil. The windows are unbreakable. I won't kick out the door. Don't worry, I will stay."

"Can I talk to her for a second?" asked Andy before Lorna locked the door. "Please."

"Come in."

The green haired woman closed the door behind the boy's back and let the two of you have some space.

"What do you want? Your girlfriend left you or you did that first?" little Dawn's eyes met yours as you were swinging her cradle peacefully.

"Are you jealous?" Andy made a step closer but you stopped him by turning your head his way...your eyes were cold and empty, like if you were dead.

"Jealous? Hah. In your dreams." you shook your head. "You left me because of this 'amazing plan the Inner Circle has'. Really? And when I kind of joined it, I found out you got yourself a new girlfriend. Amazing. You moved on fast."

"You are jealous."

"Not jealous, disappointed." your voice became softer, calmer, quieter. "Hurt. I can go on, but why? You don't care anyway. Tell Rebecca that I pity her. Now leave. Dawn needs to sleep."

IMAGINE: BECOMING FRIENDS WITH LAUREN AND ANDY WHEN THEY SHOW UP AT THE MUTANT UNDERGROUND, AND SHOWING THEM THAT YOU CAN COPY POWERS FROM OTHER MUTANTS. 

“You know, the whole time that we’ve been here, I don’t think I’ve actually ever seen you use your powers.” Andy points out as he plops down on your bed, and you teasingly roll your eyes as you try and shove him off. Lauren laughs as she sits on the bed opposite yours, and Andy tries to shove you back as he chuckles, “Hey, I’m serious!” 

“You guys wanna know what I can do?” you ask, looking between the siblings, who both eagerly nod, curiosity sparkling in their eyes. Squaring your shoulders, you glance around the room, where you spot Marcos. Waving him down, you yell, “Hey, Marcos, shine me a light!” 

Marcos glances between you and the Struckers before quickly piecing together what you’re trying to do. Raising his hand, a bright light begins to emit from his palm, and Lauren and Andy watch with wide eyes as you raise your own hand, eyes screwed shut in concentration before you ball your hand into a fist. 

Holding out your hand, Lauren and Andy scoot closer to you as you slowly open your fingers, revealing a bright light nestled in your palm, identical to Marcos’. Andy jerks back, eyes wide as he exclaims, “Wait, what the hell?”

Lauren nods, an excited smile appearing on her face. “Can you... can you copy other people’s powers?” 

“Bingo.” you grin at her, closing your hand. “I can copy everyone’s powers — Marcos, Lorna, John... even you guys, if I wanted to.”

Hot Hydra 2.0

Prompt: This is part two of Hot Hydra as requested by some of you. There’s really no prompt, except for it to be fluffy.

After defeating Thanos and Apocalypse with the combined forces of the Avengers and the Mutant Underground, it took quite a while before you saw Carol and Natasha again. You’re out having dinner with the Strucker kids when you did. While it’s currently winter you’re seated on the outdoor eating area of the restaurant when recently resurrected Wanda saw you from across the street. She looked so satisfied having been able to drag Carol, Natasha, and Agent Hill to the mall.

“Hey (Y/N)! Hey Lauren! Andy!” she greeted cheerfully. You guess if you’re erased from existence, you’d probably be obnoxiously chirpy as well after being revived. The Strucker kids smiled and wave back at the Avengers. Even though you’ve worked with them before, certain awe still remains that the Earth’s mightiest heroes acknowledge your presence.

“Retail therapy?” you teased Wanda but looking directly to Carol and Natasha.

“Yes! Best therapy ever!” Wanda exclaimed you chuckled. You would guess from their faces that Carol and Nat would rather be elsewhere than the mall but they couldn’t begrudge the others.

“What about you guys? What brought you out and about at this weather?” Agent Hill asked.

“Oh! We’re run off before Thunderbird can kick (Y/N) ass for flying all the way to Atlantic City to get tacos,” Andy explained. Everyone laughed.

“Tacos you requested,” you said rolling your eyes before laughing with everyone else.

You’re the hottest HYDRA experiment I’ve ever seen.

Wanda choked on her water and successfully spraying Agent Hill in the process, which earned more laughter from the group. Maria quickly wiped her face, while you patted down Wanda’s back.

“Are you okay?” you asked. Wanda just nodded and hurriedly made an excuse about Vision needing her. She walked away, dragging Agent Hill with her. Carol and Natasha hanged back for a few seconds.

“It’s really nice seeing you today (Y/N). Totally highlight of our day,” Carol said. Natasha nodded.

“Maybe when you’re not busy we can get tacos too,” Natasha said. You smiled at both of them who looks uncharacteristically nervous.

“Sure, you got my number,” you said before they turned and jog towards Wanda and Maria. When they reached the two they have a giant smile on their faces, while Wanda’s sporting a deep scowl.

“Glad to know you had your priorities in order while we were dead,” Agent Hill said. Carol and Nat looked baffled.

“You’re both buying me a drink, maybe five, to wash away the image of both of you ravaging (Y/N) at the medical bay in my head,” Wanda said. Agent Hill laughed so hard, they had to stop at the side of the street. Carol and Nat beet red in embarrassment.

A week after your encounter with Carol and Natasha, both of them asked you to meet at the compound. Agent Hill met you and ushered you to their private runway where Natasha is waiting for you at the mouth of an engine-ready quinjet.

“24 hours Romanoff. Also if Nick finds out, I’ll tell him you threatened me,” Agent Hill told Natasha seriously but with a trace of a smirk on her lips. Nat just nodded at her.

“Have fun (Y/N),” Agent Hill said before walking away.

Natasha led you inside and closed the door of the quinjet. Carol is in-charge of flying you tonight, to where they just wouldn’t tell. The conversation was light and easy between the three of you; Carol told the story of her time with the Kree, Nat told you about her life as a Russian spy, and you told them the little things you can remember of your life before Apocalypse turned you into the Archangel.

Four hours later, the three of you are alighting the quinjet. When Natasha opened the cargo door, you were greeted by a Japanese man wearing SHIELD uniform.

“Welcome to Tokyo, Agent Romanoff,” he greeted politely. “Captain Danvers,” he continued before looking at you. He smiled politely at you.

“(Y/N),” you introduced yourself.

He shook your hand, “of course, welcome to Tokyo Archangel,” he said.

Natasha walked ahead of you and Carol to speak to the man. You took the opportunity to turn towards Carol, you didn’t have to ask the question. Carol can read right through you.

“You’ll see,” she assured you with a mischievous smile on her face.

Just before you can say anything, a grey Maserati Quattro Forte idled next to you. When the window rolled down, Natasha spoke, “get your beautiful butts in. I’m hungry!”

Natasha drove expertly around the street of Tokyo to a hotel called Trunk Hotel to check in on the Dining Suite and park the car. Natasha informed you that you’ll be going around Shibuya by foot from there onwards. You surmised this is not Natasha’s first time in Tokyo as she happily points out landmarks. She stopped in front of a shop called Ichiban, there’s a short line ahead but Natasha assured you it’s worth the wait.

“We went to Tokyo to eat Ramen?” you asked flabbergasted.

“Yes, we heard from a certain Strucker that it’s your favorite,” Carol explained.

“So we decided where better to have our first date,” Natasha blurted out. When she realized what she just said a look of panic crossed her face. Carol is stock still and eerily silent next to you.

“Well, Fury will definitely have both your asses if he finds out you took the quinjet to take me on a date,” you said laughing. Both woman visibly relaxes at that and started laughing with you.

Carol feeling bold and bored wrapped her arm around your neck conveniently as you stand in front of her. She caught you off guard causing you to wobble on the step you’re standing on a little, thankfully Natasha held your hand. You tried to hide your blush but by the smug look on Nat’s face, you’re pretty sure you’re failing spectacularly.

The ramen was divine but more than anything sitting there next to Natasha and Carol made it all the more special. After eating ramen, Carol and Natasha insisted on walking around Shibuya and Shinjuku where you were able to buy cute keychains for the Mutant Underground kids. The three of you are back in New York not more than 18 hours after.

“Thank you for an amazing first date,” you said giving them both a kiss on the cheek when they dropped you off at the Mutant Underground HQ. Dates became frequent after that.

Three months after you got back from your date in Tokyo, you have already moved out of the HQ and into your own apartment downtown. In the span of three months, you’ve gone out with both Carol and Natasha more than you can count. You were never really bothered by the lack of label between the three of you; you like them, they like you and that was enough until Andy asked if both of them are your girlfriend now and you didn’t know how to answer.

“Do you know if they’re seeing other people?” Andy asked, earning an elbow from his sister.

You gaped at them. You never really considered the thought, which actually makes sense since they’re not officially your girlfriends it means they can see other people. It bothered you all morning, so when you sat at the table where Carol and Natasha were waiting for you for lunch with a deep frown and furrowed brow they were worried. They tried to ask what’s wrong but you were adamant that nothing is amiss. You were fairly quiet over lunch as well, which worries both of them further; you’re one of the best conversationalists they’ve ever met.

“Okay enough, tell us what’s wrong? Did we do something to upset you?” Natasha asked while waiting for the bill. She held your eyes while Carol silently chewed on her bottom lip, which is very distracting to be honest.

“Am I your girlfriend?” you blurted out. You figured it’s best to rip the bandage sooner than later.

“What?” both of them asked.

“Are you two seeing anyone else?” you continued without answering either of them. Thank goodness your table is in the outdoor dining area at the back of the restaurant because you can’t sit still. You stood up and started pacing in front of your table.

“Which is totally okay if you are, I just want to know where I stand in whatever this is we're doing,” you continued. When you look back at them, they’re both sporting a soft look on their face.

"I think we should discuss this in private,” Carol said before she’s practically dragging you to your apartment, Natasha hot on your heel.

When you arrived at your apartment, Carol pushed you against Natasha who’s standing behind you and is kissing you before you can even fathom what’s happening. Natasha wiped your hair on one side and is planting soft kisses on your shoulder. Before things can get out of hand, Carol pulled away and leaned her forehead against you.

“There’s no one else I want in this universe than both of you,” Carol confessed sincerely.

Natasha held you against her tighter. “If that still didn’t answer your question, then yes, you’re our girlfriend silly,” she said teasingly against your shoulder. You turned your head so she can kiss you, and she did.

Six months after your date in Tokyo, Carol and Natasha are basically living in your apartment too. You’re definitely not complaining, no; you love having them both with you. You love walking in at the end of the day with both of them trying to make dinner. You love having a long soak at your expansive tub, which Natasha insisted you need, after a long day of saving the world. You love quiet dinner of takeouts and Netflix and most of all, you love waking up next to both of them.

But your apartment isn’t built for three people, especially your walk-in closet. You decided to breach the topic to your girlfriends at dinner. When you came home after spending the day with Thunderbird and Blink you found both of them huddled in front of Natasha’s computer. When you came close enough to see the screen, you saw what they’re looking at.

“What’s wrong with my apartment?” you asked suddenly.

Sneaking up at your super-powered, and super badass agent girlfriends’ a really bad idea. Carol and Natasha whipped around so fast, you only had a second to retract you wings for cover before Natasha is throwing her ninja stars at you. When they realized it was you, they just rolled their eyes before sitting on the couch. Carol patted the space next to her for you to cuddle in, which you instantly obliged while Natasha continued searching the internet.

“Nothing is wrong with your place but it’s really not built for three people, don’t you think?” Carol asked after planting a kiss to your cheeks.

“You’re right. We need one big room as our walk-in closet, our bedroom, living room, kitchen, and maybe a gym,” you said.

“A gym? You don’t like working out,” Natasha said looking up from her internet search. You laughed because it’s true. Being a mutant has its perks.

“I don’t but you two do and I like watching you two work out,” you said suggestively wiggling your eyebrows before standing and walking to the shower. Carol and Natasha watched you walk away.

“What a goof,” Natasha said.

“Our goof,” Carol answered before leaning in closer to Nat to continue searching for your new home.

Eight months after your date in Tokyo, you officially moved in at your cozy new place at Christopher Street in the West Village. You just walked the Struckers’ out when you found both your girlfriends standing in the middle of your living room taking it in. You stood right next to Natasha.

“This is our home,” Nat said in no one in particular.

That night you were the last one to fall asleep after you made love to both of them in your new bedroom. Carol and Natasha looked absolutely beautiful and peaceful sleeping on both sides of you. First, you traced the outline of Carol’s spine as she lay flat on her chest, you scooted a little closer and gave her shoulder a kiss.

“I love you, Carol,” you whispered before tugging the sheet to cover her back. Then you turned towards Natasha. You traced your fingers lightly at the bridge of her nose down to her lips before you pressed a soft kiss on her chin.

“I love you, Nat,” you whispered before getting comfortable between them and finally falling asleep. You were out like a light soon after, that’s why you didn’t see both your girlfriends opening their eyes and smiling at you.

Twelve months after your date in Tokyo, Natasha and Carol have successfully enlisted you as a SHIELD agent as well. You have settled in nicely and has already developed a routine. Your girlfriends wake up every day without fail at exactly 5 in the morning. Usually, they’d go for a run around the neighborhood for an hour, and bring home some bear claws from the bakeshop around the corner to wake you up or if they’re feeling like it they would cook pancakes. You both agreed that showers should be done separately in the mornings or else you will all be late for work every day.

Then Natasha would drive all three of you in your shared 2018 Black Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to work. You’ll give them kisses before you exit the car because all of you has a badass reputation to uphold. Sometimes you really don’t see your girlfriends at work because Fury mostly gives you separate missions. Today though Fury told you he’ll be sending you, Carol, and Natasha on a mission to Tokyo. You didn’t think too much of it, international travel has been common for you after you become an agent.

The mission was fairly easy especially with the three of you working together. When you reported back to Fury, he asked you to stay put as the Japanese team performed a maintenance check on the quinjet. Natasha and Carol didn’t really mind.

“At least, we have time to unwind,” Carol said.

“Let’s go to an arcade,” you suggested. Carol perked up at the mention of an arcade. Natasha rolled her eyes playfully at both of you. Sometimes she swears she’s the eldest between the three of you.

“Fine but Ichiban after,” she agreed. There’s no protest from both you and Carol.

Finding an arcade in Shibuya isn’t a problem. Natasha joined in playing a few arcade games even. On the way to Ichiban, you found a working photo booth where Carol and Natasha happily indulged you to take a few pictures together. You’re skipping towards the restaurant ahead of your girlfriends, clearly distracted by the photos. When you looked back they’re standing a few feet away from you.

“What?” you asked.

“Marry us,” Carol said.

“What?!” you exclaimed, gaining some looks from the other customers waiting in line with you.

“Marry us,” Natasha repeated. Both of them crossing the gap between you in long strides. You would have laughed if not for the very serious face they’re both sportings. Shit, they’re serious, you thought.

“How?” you asked clearly confuse how they plan to pull this off.

“We don’t need a wedding. Natasha and I are ready to commit to spending the rest of our lives and fighting bad guys with you,” Carol said holding your hand. You looked at Natasha who looks at you earnestly.

“We love you (Y/N). We want no one else to adventure with than you,” Nat confirmed.

You tugged both of them in a hug while chanting yes against their hair. They pulled away and gave you both a kiss on the cheeks.

“I love you both of you too,” you said.  

“So do we get rings or that’s cliche?” you teased after having your ramen dinner.

“I have an idea,” Natasha said.

When you landed back in New York, Maria was waiting for the three of you at the tarmac.

“How’s the anniversary?” Maria asked before giving you a hug.

“Best anniversary so far,” you answered beaming from ear to ear.

“Good. Now meet me at my office for debriefing after you get change,” Fury said as he approached.

You were the last to meet with Fury when you walked in at the living room of the compound most of the team is arguing what movie to watch. Carol and Natasha turned towards you when you entered the room but made no move to leave the conversation they’re having with Steve and Tony. So you decided to head to the kitchen and get yourself a drink instead.

You greeted Peter who stops mid-conversation with Wanda when he notices you.

“Hey (Y/N), nice tattoo,” he said, noticing the single red line tattoo that goes all the way around your right pinky finger.

“Hey, Carol and Natasha had the same tattoo,” Wanda said.

Yes because they’re my wives, you thought loud enough for Wanda to pick up on before walking out of the kitchen and towards your wives.

“Holy shit!” Wanda exclaimed loud enough for everyone to hear.

Andy knew he shouldn’t be still be standing at the door, watching you, but couldn’t help it. You moved with grace, a happiness he hasn’t seen on anyone since coming to the underground. It was something Andy felt like he intruding on, like he wasn’t supposed to be seeing this without permission.

The soft hum of the music that previously filled the room stopped. You stood, surprised at the fact you had company. "Hi." You greeted.

"Oh, errm, hi, Y/N." Andy returned, feeling he got caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing. "I’m sorry for intruding."

"You weren’t intruding." You said, sending him a small smile.

"You’re really good by the way. I- I didn’t know you could dance." Andy complimented making heat rise to your cheeks.

"Thank you." You thanked him, looking down bashfully. "I started dancing when I was young but then I got my abilities and I thought that was it. That my life was over. Then I met John and he took me to the underground. He found out about my love for dance and would take me to the dance studio." You smiled momentarily at the memories of you and John before carrying on with your story. "Then Sentinel Services cracked down and now I can no longer go to the dance studio. This," You gestured to the room you were standing in. The paint was peeling, the windows were broken, everything that was in the room was pushed to the side to make room for you. It didn’t have everything you needed but it would have to do. "Is my dance studio now."

"I’m sorry that you can’t leave the underground now." He apologised.

"It’s okay. It could be worse. I couldn’t dance at all." You told him sadly. It sucked that this was your life now but you kept reminding yourself that I could be worse.

"One day we’re going to win this fight and you’ll get to go to the dance studio again. You’ll be the best dancer the world has ever seen." Andy said confidently. While you didn’t fully believe him, you sent him an appreciative smile, grateful for the sentiment.

Okay, your honest thoughts on s2? I personally think the contrast between the MU and the Inner Circle was brilliant, and i love Reeva. It think it was bad writing (and the fact that they always were gonna have Lorna and Andy come back) to what they did with her later. To me, it honestly made so much sense what they were doing, cuz the MU really only helps mutant in the moment but how are they doing anything in the long run. helping everyone on a bigger scale?

I was really excited for season two, as I watched the Gifted when it premiered on TV. There were a lot of theories and predictions about what it was going to be like as the finale split our main characters into separate factions, and for the most part I think that they did display the contrast between the two groups very well. However, I was a little let down by the writing in the same way you were. Having Lorna and Andy set up to come back from the start cheapened the reasoning behind them leaving in the first place.

The Mutant Underground was always portrayed as the legacy of the X-Men, and I assume they wanted to paint the Inner Circle as the legacy of the extreme mutants who agreed with Magneto. The problem is that Magneto and the Brotherhood were only villains to some.

The Inner Circle that Reeva and the Frosts were part of in season one was doing things on a larger scale for the protection of mutants. Infiltrating campaigns, planting spies and informants everywhere, and making sure that they had a hand on the wheel. I think that by killing the Inner Circle in the first episode of season two really dampened my excitement because there goes all of that careful planning and funds and ideas. For the rest of season two, Reeva is running the show with the Frosts at her side and is trying to establish the Mutant Homeland project as a reality. It felt like the things were going off the rails a little tbh. At first it was a really cool juxtaposition to what the MU was, but then it was revealed that Reeva was working with Purifiers, and I felt that her character really suffered from that decision. Working with/helping the people that harm/kill mutants? I didn’t forgive Reed for it, so I can’t forgive canon Reeva for it either. Especially since Reeva knew about all the atrocities.

But yeah, the way that the Underground was progressing was cool. I love the introduction of the Morlocks and the fact that the MU was still rescuing people. Reeva killing other mutants (the leaders of the Underground) also felt like a bad move since I feel like they could have been helping each other.

Honestly, my thoughts on season two boil down to, although Reeva was really interesting, she felt out of place. Why put so much stock into legacy of the Von Struckers and Magneto when no one else in the Inner Circle was a legacy? Why set up Lorna leading the frosts into the Underground for her not to have a major role in the Inner Circle beyond some muscle? Idk, Reeva’s introduction just seemed random to me, especially since she killed everyone in the previous power structure of the Inner Circle, thus by establishing a completely new group with a completely different goal. Idk, just felt off.

KP finally finishes Gifted s2

gave up on this back when FOX was stupid and Marvel had me jaded (still does but meh). so here’s the final 3 episodes and my incoherent babble about them i guess, after not watcing the show or nearly a year and only having my previous babble session as a refresher about what’s going on

Episode 14:

 for once the “previously on dbz” segment is needed since,. yeah been almost a year since i’ve watched this...whoops

heeeey opening flashback! i forgot the format of this show...-.- oh hey not-Graydon...you know his comment about “freaks to teleport me through traffic” would’ve been funnier if he was Graydon, since Kurt is technically his sibling...as is Clarice... just saying.

oh right, Lauren was dosed with serum. well, at least it’s working right, really screwing her up. but again, Mom is the only rational and logical one.

how are sewers large enough for a tent metropolis? but oh hey, she knows about past Morlocks hm??? maybe cause some Mauraders action...hm??? or something they previously established with the Brotherhood or not-Bishop explained that i can’t remember, whatever. i’m just happy to see Blink. and the Morlocks have a network to places...like Pittsburgh? i thought they just live din NYC...ok in this story it’s just DC because that’s where we’re set ok, but still...

wait not-Graydon is making Sentinel Guy do the Mauraders plotline?? ooo...

is the Hellfire building CGI? that..looked badly shaded...and Lorna’s hair still looks stupid...though Andy’s hair does too...why do the bad guys have bad fashion sense?

i hadn’t forgotten how Mary Sue the Struckers were though...uhg...but hey don’t sweat it Mom, if Moira McTaggert’ taught us anything, you’re never the only non-mutant in the pro-mutant side; turns out you’l end up being one all along eventually.

oh good back to Blink. please don’t flirt with not-Bishop though. just...go fight Purifiers, since that was backstory for you, ok, that’s way better than flirting. wait Gabby? uh...when’d Blink get blue in her hair?

wait Cop Man, were they dead when you found them, or did you...overall though, i am really liking the atmosphere of the Purifer’s tunnel raid. the mood and tension are great, and the cinematography is doing a good job at keeping it. it’s a shame the editor feels the need to cut back to sunny Hellfire tower to break the atmosphere...but hey

oh don’t get cocky Morlock guys...and grenade, yup cocky. but again, the lighting and mood of everything in the tunnels is really good. the power effects not so much...but tv budget. and i had actually forgotten not-Bishop had a lazer eye O.o

flashback time yay -.- but Blink! won’t make me forget you shot her since the recap ended on that...but hey tell me more about her past please, i really want to know why she doesn’t think she’s best girl. just saying “i was with the brotherhood and i didn’t like it” doesn’t cut it...and John no, you’re not allowed to give out redemption to everyone unless they are convenient to your aesthetic or philosophical interpretation, that’s why Krakoa preaches

John you don’t have time to fight not-Bishop out of grief ok. you were a ranger, you should realize that.

wait, so Reeva’s the one to blame for the council of stupid on Krakoa? that...actually makes sense, since she’s done tones of hypocritical last minute rule changing plans. weird.

really, my joke about Sentinel Guy’s heel turn was right? he honesty never realized that there were mutant children? i...wow

hey Lorna’s tiara. it makes her hair slightly less stupid looking. makes her outfit a tad stupid though...she should have more of that green popping somewhere, like her knives or a wrist band, or something.

really John just stayed there punching a wall and no cops found him? bad writing.

i swear, if Lorna trying to save Andy gets her killed, i will hate the Wonder Twins even more forever. but at least i agree with his “well her plan sounds stupid” when he learns the truth. they could’ve colored Lorna’s zippers the metallic green, that would’ve tied her costume together...sorry distracted

ok the Dad-Andy monster talk was really good...ruined by Lauren’s stupid face inserts sure, but the talk was really good.

hey back to not-Graydon and Sentinel Man. ah yes, i knew killing Cop Man would just switch Sentinel Man back in the end, that is also why his little epiphany was so annoying, because ultimately it was pointless.

aw man sappy music when the OC Family gets back together...yeah ok, but still i’ll groan a bit because uhg. but ooo Lorna comes back to Marcos too ok now it’s less groany (but still overly cheesey and neon annoying). do kinda like John on the roof...too bad the over the top music drones it out a bit.

the finale! i don’t...know what to expect going into this, other than Blink pops in at the end and might be Exiles Blink?

hey the last time shows the reunion scene would’ve worked well without the over the top music. huh

oh the flashback is the 7/15 event. heh Hawks News, instead of Fox, heh. but otherwise...meh, mandatory flashback

so their plan is, use the Uber Mary Sue Wonder Twins to destroy a skyscraper. i...sure, what else can we expect from the Strucker Show (maybe Dad will sacrifice himself and do it all on his own, that’d be a neat-yet obvious-twist)

you can tell John’s depressed cause his hair isn’t floofy anymore ^^;;;

Cuckoos! srry, still one of the best parts of any episode. and our dear Esme is starting to turn...

oh John’s going Warpath on us with his face paint (yes he’s Thunderbird, i know). the John vs Sentinel Guy thing might be a bit much, but this is an awesome fight for John...even if he is being a fool and self sacrificial.

at least it was a commercial break that broke the energy of the fight scene, and not just a scene change. also, more flashback, i’m even more convinced Dad is gonna die.

did they dye Andy’s hair so he and Lauren would look more twinny? that’s stupid...and a point i probably already made...

hm...since Bishop is from the future, are they implying that Erg is his ancestor? (though that fails to track with the timeline of DoFP IF this is the same continuity of course)

well the Wonder Twins are down for the count, so even more thinking Dad’s gonna die to blow up the Hellfire building...wait...you can’t control your powers when Reeva sonic screams? well Dad has no control-PERFECT!

wow there are a lot of power fights here. no wonder the affects in other episodes sucked, they spent the budget on the finale lol

hey Dad has the same plan i did. again, the writing telegraphed that was the ending...but still, i give Dad credit, he has grown as a character. the flashback doesn’t help though it just spells it out “this is best OC love him he is best ever” which...yeah, this show does that with the Struckers, we’ve covered that a millions times by now

i wonder if Dad touched himself would be disintegrate? also, shouldn’t his kids be safe, since same strain of X-gene are supposed to be immune...or does that only apply to certain power types?

not to play it down, but yup, dad exploded. if it wasn’t so thrown at you that that was how it’d end from, the start, then this moment might’ve had more impact...also the moment itself was kinda “you knew this was coming, there it’s done”

hey Esme’s on their team now, neat! i thought she’d be independent.

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Blink’s back! but she had a collar on her coat that was reminiscent of her AoA costume, and she opened a portal to a place with burning fire...kinda like the DoFP setting/AoA, and she never addressed anyone by name, just a general “come with me”....so yeah, that was totally Exiles Blink, and not the Blink of this story. that’s really kinda awesome.

too bad we won’t be following up on that since there’s no plans for season 3. but...it was an ok way to end i guess. it closed off the story for our main people, and we all know that it’ll never end with a “and they all lived happily ever after in peace and harmony” because it’s Xmen. it opens the door for other stories to happen in the same setting...and leaves the big hole about Blink at the end, but yeah...

but now it’ll never be followed up probably because disney/marvel thinks the Xmen are the Inhumans now *shrugs* whatever, i finally finished The Gifted, i can check that off my To-Watch List
