Whats your opinion on the indie visual novels with yandere characters?

People get intense with games to be honest. Though, root cause is pride to be honest. Unfortunate. Hopefully, things cool down sooner rather than later. I don't get involved with networking, so I'm not a direct associate to the yan vn community.

WARNING: My controversial opinions. Things I keep to myself. But, you did ask for my opinion so here. Also, casual and unstructured content.

Well I like playing them, or watching gameplays of it. Usually, though, I wouldn't say a lot of characters are my type. Most of the characters are my friend's type, not mine. So rarely will I play yandere visual novels. Usually on the emotional side or um, just know a lot of them aren't my type!

Also, ANY visual novels... well, I honestly treat it the same way as any other story or book. It's just another story to play through. Sure, it has visuals, but what matters most to me is story and characters. Like, if the MC genuinely irritates me (usually ENFP's, ESFJ's, or ENFJ's protagonists irritate me most), then I will not play the game no matter what. I can tolerate things; but honestly I can't play a game, where I have to constantly deal with an annoying character.

It's also one of the reasons why I didn't get so far playing Love and Deepspace. I heavily dislike the MC there. Too emotional for my tastes, too outspoken, and frankly? I'm no dom, you won't find any dom bone in this tiny body of mine. haha So yeah. But mostly, MC personality irritates me. Things like that. It also goes for yanderes and plots in general.

I play games to have fun, and I don't have any expectations for yandere visual novels. I play for just relaxation; because I know it's once-in-a-blue-moon will I ever find an actual yandere that vibes with me.

Because most of the time, the male yanderes I like are what people consider "abusive" and what most consider not yandere. People say it's plain abuse shiz and all. But for me? Food. Like for me, my favorite "love story" manhwa of all time is this one:

Among all yanderes I've seen, this guy was most memorable for me. Yes, choke meee.

It's why I'm starving hardcore for content. Like actual confident + doesn't need validation from darling + unapologetic + sadistic + intelligent + truly black flag yanderes. That's my type.

Listen. I play games, write, or do anything really because I love my husband. Truly do. So anything that reminds me of him makes me happy.

Anyways.

There's this one story my friend played. People may not like or vibe with it, but it's called "Boyfriend to Death (BTD)". Never played it but my friend chatted it about it with me since she finished the game, and it's my kind of vibe. I don't like the graphics so I wouldn't play it. But the survival horror and genuine aim for your life? Well, that's dope. So, basically stuff like that is my kind of vibe.

Sorry, I do play otome games and visual novels, but usually it's not even yandere. The personalities are never vibing with me :((. It's difficult to even find fanfiction or stories in general with truly confident, unapologetic yanderes. Like truly strong.

My husband is like that, and well... I can't find any wahahahha. Oh well. At least I have food now in the form of writing.

Rambled but yeah. To me, visual novels, whether yandere or not, well, just another video game to me. As long as the game is generally fun to play and doesn't irritate me, then I'll play it. I don't really care nor get involved in community stuff; because I just want to have fun playing. And, I keep to myself, so yeah.

Quick tip for ya: Honestly don't trust really ANY "Youtube" summary of it. Especially the ones where they are mostly trying to be "entertaining" and/or "funny" instead of educational. Also they mostly likely won't be "respectful".

I'm not saying this as a "don't trust any academic source! Historians are evil!!!" I'm saying this as a "there are very biased and very opinionated folks out there and I recommend going over multiple sources just for you to get your own opinion formed on it as well!".

And you know what? I'll vent about how much I hate Robert Graves' takes on Greek Myth. >:(

I once got an old used book about mythology by Robert Graves and I was excited to read it! But it was genuinely just...so fucking MEAN. Insulting to stories, calling them stupid, flip-flopping on "Goodhearted" to "malicious". It seems like he was a bit more of a critic and/or thought his "headcanons" as "fact". (I say this as someone who has many headcanons and gets real silly with it. At a certain point though, YOU GOTTA STATE THE FACTSSS)

An example from it: (talking about Menelaus and Helen's marriage) "Yet their marriage was doomed to failure: years before, while sacrificing to the gods, Tyndareus had stupidly overlooked Aphrodite, who took her revenge by swearing to make all three of his daughters--Clytemnestra, Timandra, and Helen--notorious for their adultries"

Very much dislikes Odysseus, (like holy crap, even his good deeds are said mockingly) while he seems to "like" Menelaus, still calls him stupid. Seems to really like Paris?? like "Oh yeah, he needed Aphrodite to help him steal a woman who didn't love him but he's just a guyyy~"

"Athen now inspired Prylis, son of Hermes, to suggest that entry should be gained into Troy by means of a wooden horse; Epeius, son of Panopeus, a Phocian from Parnassus, volunteered to build one under Athene's supervision. Afterwards, of course, Odysseus claimed all the credit for the Stratagem"

He implies Helen and Odysseus possibly having romantics when he sneaks into Troy to steal the Palladium. Implies Odysseus made up Cassandra's rape by Lesser Ajax, as "Cassandra did not support the charge".

"Little Ajax's alleged violation of Cassandra was dismissed by reputable mythographers as an Odyssean lie"

Implies that Odysseus was only angry about Pallamedes embarrassing him, NOT BECAUSE HE NEARLY KILLED HIS BABY AND MADE HIM GO TO WAR. He implies "Icarius' daughter (Penelope)" to be another "victim" (???) of Odysseus? He also kissed poor Calypso goodbye and seems determined to never talk about how much Odysseus cares about his family. only that he wants to go home, Penelope being an afterthought.

This is a "Greek Mythology book"...and yet it's biased as fuck. :/

And ofc, people deny Odysseus being a victim.. Obviously there is sexism at play here, with the "Oh Odysseus loved it! He was getting laid!" despite being held at PigPoint and literally getting fucking raped and crying everyday. ;~; it's very disheartening and honestly disturbing.

Honestly I recommend reading/listening to at least 2 (or more) to try and get a "full picture" as just like Madeline Miller and Robert Graves, there are biases in each one. (Emily Wilson is very biased for example) Some of them while favorable toward Odysseus, also favor Circe and Calypso. Some mock Menelaus and Helen. It depends.

Like I've read 8 translations of the Odyssey (I like it :3 you don't have to be insane like me though. <3 ) and all basically say the same thing with the Goddesses as "It was not a good time. He adores Penelope."

Two or three is probably enough, and that's also if you just wanna know if there's any differences between events based on the translator. so sometimes if you wanna know the differences in wording (as some translations have very cute wording) you can just find that part in the Odyssey that you are curious to see if there are differences. :)

As soon as he arrived, people started to gather around him, and in no time, a crowd had formed.

My heart pounded with indescribable anxiety as I watched the strange scene from the shadows.

Alfons: Now, now, don't be so impatient... One at a time, in order.

Alfons touched their necks in a practiced manner and whispered something.

(Is he using his ability?)

(Is he showing them something with it?)

The people in the crowd started to make ecstatic expressions as they were whispered to, and they started to walk around unsteadily, or laugh and cry on the spot... They looked like they were under the influence of illegal drugs or some kind of illusion.

(Why is Alfons doing this...?)

He looked like a merciful Virgin Mary, listening to each person's story and then giving them an illusion with his palm outstretched.

Alfons: ...

I couldn't look away, I just held my breath.

After sending everyone into an illusion, his gray eyes met mine.

Alfons: ... Instead of trembling like a stranger over there, why don't you come over here? It's lonely.

Kate: ...!

Kate: Oh no... I've been found.

Alfons: Since you've found me, there's nothing to be done.

Emerging from behind the wall where he was hiding, he elegantly crossed his legs on a roadside crate and tapped it twice.

With a determined step, she approaches him.

What uncommon/common fear do they have?

Micheal: It’s a fairly common fear but Micheal has a crippling fear of doctors. He’s disliked them since he was a child but his dad always told him doctors were friends. That mindset changed very quickly after he became a hero.

Talia: Public speaking. She’s the least ‘popular’ member of her family so she’s grown accustomed to not being in the spotlight and when she is she doesn’t know how to act. 

Ray: Deep water. He doesn’t really know why. But if he ever has to be flying above water or visiting a lake he won't go in and it stresses him out. 

Do they have any pet peeves?

Micheal: People that think they’re better than everyone. Especially when they think they’re better just because they have money.

Talia: Sudden loud noises. Especially when she’s trying to paint something. It throws her off and then she has to take a break to figure out what happened.

Ray: Interruptions.

What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?

Micheal: His super suit, a police scanner, a little crystal Bianca bought for him (He doesn’t even like crystals but if Bianca gave it to him he’ll keep it till the day he dies)

Talia: An assortment of paper and pencils on the ground, her tablet, unfinished homework

Ray: Byte (His favorite robot), lots of computer monitors, old take out food

What do they notice first in a person?

Micheal: Their intentions. Micheal hasn't been a hero for long but he has long enough to guess if someone has bad intentions or not. 

Talia: Their clothes (She’s a bit of a fashion girly)

Ray: Their eyes. (When people are controlled by No One their eyes turn yellow. He always keeps that in mind.)

On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance?

Micheal: 9/10. He grew up in a bad part of the city and gets beat up all the time as a hero. He’s used to it.

Talia: 6/10 Sheltered rich kid but is trying to go out and help Micheal with his hero stuff more. 

Ray: 3/10. He’s a sheltered rich kid who lives in his basement.

Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?

Micheal: Fight

Talia: Flight

Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?

Micheal: It’s only been him and his dad. His mom left when he was two and he never met the rest of her family.

Talia: Loves her family. It’s her, Ray, and her mom and dad but she’s also close to her extended family.

Ray: He’ll go to family events when he has to. But he likes his grandparents.

Have they broken any bones?

Micheal: Yes. Many times.

How would a stranger likely describe them?

Micheal: A pretty friendly kid! He’s a little awkward and looks kind of disheveled but he seems nice!

Talia: Very difficult to describe. She doesn't really give you any room to talk. She just seems to like talking about random things she likes. But she’s not rude per say. I guess she’s nice enough?

Ray: Very quiet. Lets you do most of the talking but he always seems like he’s judging you.

To be honest, more than the fact it's hatred itself, I'm surprised to see so many such strong emotions and set opinions about Nia, actually?

I don't dislike her, but I don't love her either, but that is mostly because I don't know her that well yet, actually? She appeared less than the other two ROs on my playthrough, and she didn't leave as strong of an impact as the brothers yet either. Now of course I'm sure some people have seen more of her than me, but it still remains a fact that she was not part of the investigation from the start and what not! And while I've prioritized the RO I want to romance, my Crowny still tries to reconnect with her, meaning I haven't avoided her either.

But I'm not saying this as a bad thing too, simply as a "I need to get to know her better to form a strong opinion". I don't dislike any character so far, but I also don't trust most of them currently anyway haha. Especially Imre.

Anyway, yeah, I'm genuinely surprised people can hate her so much when we as players don't know her THAT well yet? Obviously sometimes you have a character you love or hate "at first sight" sure, but that won't happen to so many players with the same character for no reason...

I think it’s what another nonnie said that in IFs because you play the main character you grow an intense attachment to them and seek to protect which creates a bias and it’s a normal reaction in pretty much all mediums where you love a character

I have biases too, it’s hard not to. I guess it seems I’m more protective of Nia than any other but that’s mostly because I haven’t had to protect any other character the way I have her 😭😭

hi love! mm i have seen other authors get asks for updates and asks for when they'll next update, but actually i dont know of any other authors that have similar rules as me lol. but that's just what i've seen in my own author circle, since i've seen mutuals react positively to asks that i personally would've found disagreeable haha. i think all authors will have their own rules. there are some things other authors dislike that i'm like eh idc, type of thing. it just depends, but like if you're reading an authors works, you're on their turf, so you gotta respect their wishes.

aww thanks my loveee i'm so glad you feel the nuance of the characters too! that's always so important to me as an author when i'm building their traits n flaws. and yes i agree i cannot w infantalized gojo sdfkhsdkf... my fave version of gojo is the broody locked in sometimes goofy gojo from jjk0 so i really try to channel that version of gojo specifically when i write haha

i don't share many personal details online so i won't be answering your first question, but as for when i stopped reading fics, i think it was around the time kickoff started to take off in popularity and i was really struggling writing it (around ch9). i had to really "meditate" a lot on the story and kinda immerse myself into it so that i could push forward with writing for it, and reading other works kinda took me out of the mental state i needed in order to write. it kinda became an "all or nothing" thing for me where i had to solely focus on the universe i was crafting. this doesn't just apply to other ppl's fics tho lol, part of the reason i haven't written for kickoff in 8 months is because i was so hyperfixated on ihm. so yeah i think i just get tunnel vision creatively and so it makes it really hard to read other works. i find that published works are a bit easier sometimes, esp if the writing style or perspectives is very different from what i'm used to seeing in fanfiction, but i also just don't have much time to read and also write so i have to make a choice sometimes haha

woah I literally totally forgot to talk about this... the thing with the album cover is so real it's such a good photo it makes me retroactively dislike the original more like girl you literally had THAT photo in your hands the whole time?? the colour is so much nicer too it's gorgeous... and then in terms of the actual music overall it's pretty good <3 I had low expectations obviously but I still all the songs more interesting then the majority of what's on the original album. like fucking good graces made the cut but these didn't?? god I literally liked it and using it to be more of a hater my bad...

busy woman is like the big one and back when it first released (on like vinyl and then it got around) I hated it so bad. in fairness I was sooooo fucking mad at sabrina at the time you get it. this is the most "short n sweet" song. you know? but I've grown to really like even if some of it is corny as fuck. like the deem you gay line. ppl have to stop saying it's problematic and start saying this is corny and you'll never be katy perry writing ur so gay... what I like about this song that's different to her usual I'm so sexy songs in that there's a little bit of tongue in cheek self deprecation here that I'm not sure is intentional but I really like... it's not just about being sexy and horny it's about being someone who is trying so hard to be confident because they cannot handle being rejected at all. I saw someone say they hated the "I didn't want your little bitch ass anyway" line because it's petty and immature but to me the song is an acknowledgement of being petty and immature it's a song that's scrambling in the face of someone who doesn't want you... and i wish it was leaned into more here which would really have distinguished the song from the others. like it shouldn't be a girlboss sexy song it should be about being kind of embarrassing... to ME! idk... anyway.

the only song I really didn't fuck with was bad reviews (boring! about the same shit we've heard this album a million times!) which was of course the only one I had any stake in lol... I thought it was going to be a lot like what fifteen minutes ended up being, an actual response to her massive rise and the consequences of it. that one is all delivered with the same girlboss sheen she's had the entire era but it's genuinely just very fun and real. seriously when did all you bitches get so nice.... I don't know when this was written but god this would've been such a good closer that fit the tone and theme of the album. it's literally called fifteen minutes... it's about making what may be a brief time in the spotlight SHORT N SWEET. GIRL. instead of ending it on some faux profundity! which she did AGAIN by ending the deluxe with bad reviews!

If I had to pick only one song to describe Stanley and Mr. House... It would be this song :3 NOT ONLY is it by She Wants Revenge- (one of my favourite bands) BUT I always think of them while listening to this song :3

To keep it short, I think it shows Mr. House's nonchalant nature compared to Stanley's (mostly) one sided pining and longing and this song is a more exaggerated version of their relationship :) (Stanley would be way to scared to make any move LOL)

It also shows Stanley's loyal nature, always wanting to be close and near to Mr. House, while House decides to ignore it/play into it

And in the chorus, the reason why he doesn't commit is because he can see Stanley is a man still clinging on the past, since he still wears things like his old vault suit. Mr. House doesn't see much point in giving Stanley what he wants because of this, as he sees it as pointless and time consuming.

One of the things, is that most people despise (or at least dislike) Mr. House, while Stanley sees through all of those flaws and still loves him. Often ignoring how it looks to others. (In this sense, he's keeping the wanted poster not because he hates House but to admire it lol)

The main chorus being repeated multiple times represents how long and ongoing his simping is lol

With Stanley being a recovering alcohol, and not really talking to Mr. House much (outside of missions/work), it results to him not being able to talk with him confidently- So he'd rather, well... do what the chorus says. :oP Maybe some violence or berating would get him to talk, is what he thinks. And then maybe he'd finally confess, he is waiting for the right moment and the right way to say it after all. (Spoiler alert, he's probably never confessing >:))

The other repeating chorus also represents another side of Stanley, although he had gotten over that side of him recently :) (good for him!!!)

This shows how Mr. House doesn't like dealing with Stanley's bullshit. As Stanley has a past of often bothering House while drunk and late at night.

This shows a different point of view from the verse above, this time, being from House's pov. Mr. House believes that he can now tell when Stanley is drunk, so now he just shuts him down whenever he starts a conversation in a way he doesn't like.

This shows Stanley's reluctance to cope with the fact that he's turning into a ghoul. He often longs to age like his close friend Serge, wanting to one day be able to see the wrinkles sag on his skin and to grow grey hairs. Sadly, he's already turned into a ghoul due to his reckless nature.

And when he first starts to turn into a ghoul and uses jet to treat himself, he worries that he'll become even more of an outcast, as he finally found a place for himself outside the vault. Since he felt like a massive outcast in his previous vault, vault 3.

(Although, despite not being able to age, he's actually grown to like being a ghoul. :3)

what's wrong with book!Min (gave up on books right now because i can't anymore, i'm on 4th I think? she is just not there)

book 5 is exactly when she started sucking haha so you stopped at the right time! i do get into some spoilers here, though i tried not to say anything too specific that you wouldn't have already known from the first few books (such as the fact that rand has multiple girlfriends and min is one, which her viewing revealed in book 2). also, maybe you won't even want to read this if you'd rather let your opinion of show!min continue on untainted, because i will say that 90+% of the things i'm about to complain about are very unlikely to be a thing in the show.

basically she just gets hit with an abysmal case of Men Writing Women: out of the blue she decides to throw her whole life away to chase rand down and make him love her, she changes her whole personality and style to try to cater to what she thinks rand would find attractive (i'm all for wanting to look hot for your man, but min herself doesn't seem to enjoy her new clothes or find them comfortable, and that's a problem), she stops having any relationships or connections outside of rand, she barely has scenes with anyone but him and in ensemble scenes she's just there to cling sexily onto him while having 0 dialogue because she has nothing to contribute to the plot-relevant discussion going on, she has no storyline besides barnacling herself to his side and being on tap for sex 24/7, she has no narrative role or in-world obligations besides Being Rand's Girlfriend, etc.

and on top of all that, you have fandom calling her ~Best Girl~ and saying that she is the only one of the 3 women who deserves to be with rand because she Puts Her Man First like a Good Girlfriend should, and fuck the other two for having the audacity to have responsibilities outside of being his girlfriend. fuck them for actually being complex, well-rounded characters with independent storylines and character arcs, right? we only like female characters who exist to serve men's storylines!

and on top of all THAT, she DOESN'T EVEN serve rand's storyline! she literally doesn't do anything! she always makes me think of the "let me ask you a very fair question. what DO you do successfully?" vine. you could cut her out of the entire series and very little would change. min fans claim that she was integral to keeping rand anchored during dark times because min and rand claim that is the case, but the actual scenes between them in the text do not back up that claim. i can think of ONE scene where min actually makes an effort to have a serious conversation with rand about what's worrying him; every other time she just stops his doom-and-gloom talk by punching him or waving knives at him or distracting him with sex. and the way people put her up on a pedestal for taking care of rand at his worst (which she doesn't actually do anyway) is a romanticization of the shitty idea that it's a woman's job to be the sole emotional dumping ground for her male partner. i guess it could simply be that Dating Your Therapist is a romance trope i personally dislike, but ugh, i HATE that vibe of their relationship and especially of the way the fandom talks about their relationship.

and on top of all THAT, their relationship is totally logic-breaking at times because rand will go "i'm so isolated and alone! i'm going to go snuggle up in bed with my live-in girlfriend and think about how isolated i am." he will go "i am so dangerous, i have to push away everyone i love! come on min, i'm taking you into the most dangerous magical event of the age during which many channelers will show up to attack us, even though you're a defenseless civilian and there's no reason you need to be there." it feels like RJ wanted to give rand an isolation arc but also wanted him to have a sexy mistress on his arm at all times, and could not understand that those two things are mutually exclusive (unless said mistress is just no-strings-attached sex, but that was not intended to be the case here, although the cognitive dissonance often makes it feel like rand DOES see min as just no-strings-attached sex rather than a real person whose safety he needs to worry about).

her behavior about the whole romantic situation also drives me nuts because she is SO possessive and jealous, which i personally absolutely hate in romantic relationships, though some people do find it attractive, including min herself - there's a scene where she tries to make rand jealous because she thinks it makes the sex hotter and i was like girl wtf? get some dignity. actually "girl wtf? get some dignity" is my attitude towards all her behavior about the relationship because listen, i fully support girls being silly over their crushes, but christ alive the way min comports herself brings me so much secondhand embarrassment. she'll be like "i'm sooooo mature and worldly, i will never lose my head over a man like OTHER women do, because i am Not Like Other Girls, i'm superior to them" (the Not Like Other Girls vibes is another huge annoyance about her character & fandom reception of her character) and then she'll proceed to go plop down into rand's lap and dandle herself on his knee in the middle of a political meeting to show off to everyone present that he belongs to her. girl, you are a grown-ass woman! get some dignity! she also has a shitty attitude towards the polycule situation, i won't say more since the details of that are beyond book 4 and this post is also getting super long, but suffice it to say that, surprise surprise, possessive and jealous people do not work well in polyamorous relationships.

but most of the above is the fault of the author (or the fandom), not the character. i can't exactly separate the two while reading because "RJ is writing min badly" very quickly blurred into "i feel super annoyed every time she is onscreen" very quickly blurred into "i can't stand this character," but it does mean that the show has a good chance to fix most or all of these problems with her because they aren't necessarily intrinsic to her characterization, they're just symptoms of RJ's weird ideas about het romance and gender norms. the show making her a world-weary 30-something-year-old who takes no shit and who is GNC in a queer-presenting genuinely-doesn't-care-what-straight-men-think-of-her-looks way rather than a not-like-other-girls-tomboy-who-still-caters-to-the-male-gaze way is already a HUGE step in the right direction!

my first playthrough i got the white arabian and i named her Lemoyne Tree as a tribute to the state of Lemoyne and my favorite post malone song Lemon Tree. But she always got super dirty so i then went to the lake next to Strawberry and tamed the red chestnut arabian. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that one, she's gorgeous and arthur always gets that one when i play it. my beautiful baby girl Diablo <3

Charles deserves the absolute world. just listening to him speak and hanging out with him at camp, and the missions you continue on to do with him throughout the game are so much fun. charles is someone i wish i could have in my real life because he seems like he would be the best person to speak to and hang out with. he is so lovely and down to earth. even arthur says it a couple times throughout the game. charles gets a good ending i promise.

Anyways, Ayakane! One of the most popular ships in Dra I'm pretty sure. The funny thing is that I'm 99% sure that if i had first experienced Dra as intented instead of just fucking around in the fandom with spoilers from day one and a whole lot of lack of information about the first game from back then i totally would have been an Ayakane shipper, like, when i look at it objectively i see it has everything i like in a ship; The two characters have a sweet relationship and really care for one another, it's got angst at the same time that it can be super cute + they actually have canon basis and moments together in the game! And that's without even mentioning the heap of fan content of the two! Amazing! Wonderful! I was so close to being normal-

While i would say i dislike Ayakane, I don't say this in a "I hate this is fuckin awful" way, just the literal lack of liking for the pairing, you know? Like i can see why it's so popular but i just don't feel anything about it and can't bring myself to enjoy it further than "this has Ayame on it" which is,, quite literally the one reason I have handful of Ayakane art saved from before twitter was kicked out of brazil and read a couple fics of them a while back. Ayame is a pretty unpopular character and unfortunately a good chunk of content that involves her is Ayakane stuff, which bothers me a little since it shows how a heap of the fandom really only thinks of her in relation to Akane and not Ayame herself, but it's still content that I'll consume anyway even if I don't fully enjoy it.

So while i may sound mean towards the ship sometimes, take that as me just joking around with a slight fear to whatever nonsense I'm writing because while the Dra fandom has chilled a lot since the early days i still somewhat fear that some part of the Ayakane crowd may chase me with torches and pitchforks out of seeing how a few mutuals and friends of mine used to get straight up harrased for liking unpopular ships back then, let alone one that goes agaisnt one of the fandom's most popular ones haha-

It's the whole reason i never actually made any straight up Hatamori art back when i was younger, i just resorted to making silly lil sprite shitposts of the two and having them interacting in my old Aus. I'm happy that I don't really care as much now and can actually bring myself to draw them, i think 15 year old me would go crazy knowing i drew them kissing in the mouth.

How did you meet #4?: College org. I was an applicant at the time, they were already a member, and they seemed very friendly to all the newbies so I stuck around them. In time we became close and even got in the same friend group, which we're both still part of today.

How much does #9 mean to you?: She's a co-worker so while I wouldn't, like, die for her per se or can say that she's 'everything' to me, I'd look out for her nonetheless.

Describe #14 in 2 words.: Extremely intelligent.

What is your best memory with #5?: I loved when she came over to watch YTC Busan live with us! That was also such a random mix of friends to end up happening, so I was anxious they'd all be opposites – but it got really fun.

Do you know all of #2's secrets?: I know none of them seeing as we're only workmates and I like my boundaries.

When is the next time you're going to see #7?: In an hour or two, I'm guessing. She went out for a bit for errands.

When's the last time you saw #17?: 2 AM, Friday – dropped him off at the airport. From there, I won't be seeing him again until November.

Are #11 and #12 anything like each other?: Quite the contrary; they're a good example of how two people cannot be any more different.

Describe the relationship between #14 and #19.: They have a nonexistent relationship, but if we're gonna be extremely loose about degrees of separation – Hans went to the same school as Andi (#14); they both also were schoolmates with Gab, who used to date Sam (#19).

Is #10 single?: No. Has been engaged for a while now, too.

If you could tell #8 one thing right now, what would it be?: Let's go out soon and maybe we can try a new hobby together, too.

What is the funniest thing you've ever seen #16 do?: I haven't had many funny encounters with her tbh as she's kind of shy and doesn't really want to put herself out there – that, and we've always worked from home.

Can I name coolest instead? There was a time when my teammates and I each needed to make 10-slider decks about any topic (meant to be an exercise on public speaking); and she had what I thought was the most unique and personally relatable presentation – she covered her favorite lesbian media. Music, movies...and there's a bunch in there that I was able to relate to...just cause of my past, I guess. Haha. It felt pretty bittersweet, and I gave her some of my recs too.

How did you meet #15?: School. I can't remember when we got close, though. Maybe in high school if I had to guess – we stay friends these days, too, as she's with Andi.

What would you do if #4 died?: I'd be shocked to say the least. I'm imagining that'd bring the college friend group back together again.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen #3 do?: He had a brief stint as a camp...something (guide? counselor? idk terms) in the US a few years ago, so when he came back the first thing he did to me was share a bunch of camp songs he picked up from his time there. Are you friends with any of #19's friends?: Not with most of them. We only have a few mutual friends, all linked to Angela/Hans.

What would happen if #1 and #3 hated each other?: That would crush me, tbh. Hans is family at this point, and it'd be sad if he and my sister actively disliked one another.

You gotta have an extrovert in PR, and she's that.
