okay one last post before I go to bed.

And I'm super fucking pissed as I write this.

So, I'm in NHS at my school. Neat, right? And I'm looking for some service hours, so I sign up to do bleachers clean up after the football game tonight (we won btw).

I do the clean-up, do a quick band favor for a friend by putting away some percussion equipment, and as I do so, I find the NHS kids getting their service logs signed.

I walk up to one of the officers, and I tell her "hey, I'm gonna run this (the perc equipment) to the band room real quick, then I'll be back to get my hours signed :D"

She gives me a puzzled-ish looks, and asks me if I'm in band. I say yes. Another girl turns around and says "band kids don't get service hours for bleachers clean up"

...

EX-FUCKING-C U S E ME?????

SO YOURE TELLING ME I SPENT AN HOUR - AN H O U R - OF MY TIME CLEANING TRASH FROM THE BLEACHERS, ONLY TO NOT GET SERVICE HOURS FOR IT??????

Mind you, I need 3 club hours by the end of the quarter, and so far I have none.

AND ME, A BAND KID, WHO IS DONE WITH HER BAND DUTIES, CANT GET FUCKING HOURS FOR PICKING UP TRASH??????? I DONT SEE OTHER BAND KIDS PICKING UP TRASH BC THE DIRECTOR TOLD EM TO!!!!!

I swear to fucking God I'm gonna murder some one I'm so salty about this.

And the only other time I can get hours for nhs is our first competition day, during the only break i have (12-4). Even better, my little sibling has volleyball tryouts the same day.

And the best part? Oh-ho, THE BEST PART???

NO ONE FUCKING SAID ANYTHING.

NOT A WORD ABOUT BAND KIDS BEING INELIGIBLE FOR SERVICE HOURS REGARDING BLEACHERS CLEAN UP.

NOT A SINGLE FUCKING WORD.
