the reason I've never drawn Melliwyk asleep in Zhartook's backpack is that I originally said that as a joke and even though it is a canon thing that happens sometimes, Mel is. kinda too big to actually fit in a backpack

#you know how inventory in dnd is handwaved and don't even worry about the logistics of how you'd be carrying all of that #that's also how mel fits in backpacks #you right click her to pick her up and she pops into the dedicated Sleeping Gnome inventory slot #this was actually a consideration I HAD after realizing that 'small humanoid who is sometimes asleep in a backpack'#was something I wanted to actually build: I seriously considered making this character a halfling so they'd be smaller #but I knew it'd be a wizard and like man... halflings give you NOTHING for that! gnome just fit too well with the concept #anyway all of this is true except that this is not actually why I've never drawn this #the truth there is mostly just laziness skjhdgdkfg #and also I forget! I always give my OCs gimmicks and then forget about them :') like how aubree is supposed to be superstitious #or kethri's somewhat of a compulsive liar #about me #my OCs #melliwyk
