You know what bothers me most about Loki's characterization? That it wasn't established at all.

Like okay they wanted to make Loki more comic-like (which I don't understand btw - they have plenty of characters in the MCU who aren't quite like in the comics), but they could have at least built up to it a little bit.

The show was made for Loki fans, for people who like his character. But many people are attached to Thor 1/Avengers Loki and then it just feels so off.

Like they had 2 movies including his past and they could have worked with that (I might add that I would die any day for his characterization in The Dark World). They could have made him more like this in the beginning and than slowly change his behavior, cuz he maybe is getting more comfortable, being away from Thanos and beginning to scheme.

Like my dude attacked New York and was mind controlled one (1) second before he appeared in the desert and than you just throw in a new characterization?

I honestly am trying not to care so much anymore and I enjoy the show, but they could have put a little more work into it.

i'm holding out that he's being smart and faking to play into what Mobius expects of him - that's been his go-to before :)
