Going anon because I don’t want you to focus on who sent you this (although I’m sure something I’ll say might give me away <3), but rather, I want you to focus in on your amazing self.

Something I like to do in my daily practice is write down a few things of what made me most happy that day… but for purposes of this, I’d like you to tell me which fic (can be multiple) that you wrote makes you the most happy!

Ignore the notes, ignore the traction — which fic of yours makes you the most happy and warm and all the good feelings, and give an explanation (however long you want) as to why🩶

A lot of times, especially in a world like this where the internet and other’s creativity is so accessible, we forget to give our own selves the credit we deserve. This is my way of sprinkling around that little bit of gratitude.

I’ve been stewing on this for some time, and I'm glad I don’t have to choose one. because god, that would be so hard. and each time I come to sit to answer, I get in my head.

so, i've popped helen of hammersmith bridge on by bear's den, and if you will, let's hold hands as we embark on the train of wonder into jo’s mind…

so, naturally, i feel like i want to say Do Me Yourself, because it makes me incredibly happy, warm. it makes me want to spend all my time with them and my usual process is to write the ending and work towards it, but gosh, i don't even want to think about them ending. you know?

but then, I also loved writing Anytime. I loved javi coming back and just being in love with his friend he goes to a wedding with. and I loved writing joel at bill and franks house because I felt hot writing it? like i was a person that someone would want to do that with. i want to say The Book Of Love with frankie all lost and healing, stumbling into a bookshop because it made me grin imagining all the shelves.

but then I love, I Like The Way You because it made me feel empowered to be sexy, to be sexual? to make sex about me and not just the person im with after some bad things that happened and that i healed from. then there's din, just in awe of this person he shares a small space with, these two souls who both feel like me a bit when i'm super sad and just unsure of which way is north.

and then, there’s Late Night Texts, this fic that just came to me when I felt so lonely and terrified and sad, and I had a reason, a purpose to literally sit at my desk again. that I then I got to share. that facilitated me finding friends i cannot be without now. and because of that, it continues to make me happy in ways I can’t put into words.

and, that leads me here.

because i don't think i can pick one or even a few. because I just, I love so much of what I do here. because I never thought I’d get to? and it’s such a powerful question, and a good one at that, and one i wish more than anything i could answer.

but when you’re someone who gets depressed and is anxious all the time, you just tell yourself stories to escape everything. to help you put a foot in front of the other and you never expect them to be seen, or even liked. so, in some ways, I can't fathom the idea that this is my day to day. that I have friends who tell beautiful stories and let me into their sandboxes and equally want to play in mine.

because, anon, i can't pick one thing that makes me happy, because all of it does. the writing of the stories, the making them up, the plotting (ugh, even the editing I GUESS), but then, once the anxious window has passed after I've pressed "post", i get a new wave of joy from my work. i get to see people interact with me, friends and hopeful friends talking to me about it, about a character, a line or plot point, and god, it makes my heart so full.

so, while i cannot say i love every fic with the same amount of love as others, i do love a hell of a lot of them. from the pain of luna in nowhere who helped me realise i wasn't as well as i thought, to the airport kiss of javi and crossword; from frankie meeting pg at benny's fight to kissing his best friend called beans. from marcus devouring on a glass table to a thunderstorm fuck with joel, i am so in awe and overjoyed with how far I've pushed myself.

and that i have a space to do it in.

one where thoughtful people like you ask me something like this and care about what i have to say.

jo from 2022 wouldn't believe where jo of 2024 is, so thank you for letting me create things and being my friend and caring what i have to say, whether it's a shit post about brown eyes saving me or something heartfelt like this.

im gonna try writing something that longer than what i normally post because im kinda bored right now and kinda wanna talk alot about minecraft

big 3d sandbox game about blocks that released in 2009, created by Notch, a guy i don't feel like talking about much.

i've never actually beat minecraft at all

i've been playing for like

6-8 years at this point

i've only ever played minecraft pocket edition and minecraft ps4 edition

it was the only game i played like a month after i got my tonsils taken out

back when i was like 5 or 6 i played ps3 edition but didnt understand the controls lol

anyways, minecraft has been in my life for over a third of it, and yet i have not beaten it

and i don't really know why

sure it could be that i prefer the calm of a creative world to the chaotic nature of survival

but if that's the case, then why would i create all these survival worlds

i don't think the issue is how i like to play the game, but how the game is played, if that makes sense.

this is more of an issue with newer versions of minecraft, which is a sentence that has been said hundreds of times, but it's true! new minecraft just removes the fun!!

back in the older days of minecraft you just needed diamonds, blaze rods, ender pearls, and about a stack of dirt, and you could go beat the ender dragon

it's mostly the same in the new version too but now everything is made more complicated

like early stages are mostly the same, punch tree, get wood, get stone, go mine, simple

but now instead of building a little mineshaft to dig down, you wanna fine a cave, and hope it goes all the way down to deepslate, if you ever want hope of finding diamonds

then if you want enchantments, you don't want to get an enchantment table, no, you want about 15 librarian villagers to get the stuff you want, which turns villagers into pretty much a necessity instead of a "ooh hehe im gonna build a little village for the little villagers teehee"

then for the nether

here, you now can get material better than diamonds! this is not a bad thing by itself, but it's so hard to get that there's no real reason to get it! you need to go collect a smithing template from one of the bastions in order to upgrade 1 piece of armor!

considering it's an achievement to upgrade a diamond hoe to netherite, and you will mostly want to upgrade the rest of your tools, thats 9 smithing templates and 9 netherite ingots!!

and to get one netherite ingot you need 4 ancient scraps!! which means you need to find 36 ancient debris blocks, which are really hard to find!!! so it's really not worth it to get netherite at all!! and with all the new biomes and structures, the fortresses are harder to find, making it harder to get the blaze rods!!

once you have the blaze rods theres 3 different ways to get ender pearls now. you can either hunt down endermen, barter with piglins, or trade with villagers!! the ones that are easiest are villagers or piglins!! this means villagers are even more of a "god i really fuckin need it" thing!

once you get the eyes of ender the end game is mostly just the same

im probably just being stupid, but i preferred it when you had to get stuff by yourself instead of just buying it from a villager

i know it's not necessary at all but if you're playing with other people they're going to be way ahead compared to you

in my opinion the most recent update that i've liked had been the aquatic update because it didn't make progression any easier or harder

all of this is probably why i've never really beaten minecraft. maybe i should go and make a world just to try playing it the way i want to and see if i can beat the game

003. door's main verse is set within what i like to call the GLU, aka the gai.man literary universe. which means i basically see all his works living together in the same universe -- so sandman, good omens, american gods, all of those are sandboxes to play within. there's also a heavy urban fantasy element to neverwhere, so there will be dark themes present & mentions will be tagged as 'trigger here tw' or 'trigger here cw'. anything suggestive or sex.ual in nature will be tagged as nsft. if there is something else you would like to be tagged, please let me know!

004. plotting is highly encouraged! im's are always open for a chat. memes are also a fantastic way to start interactions! i'm also happy to, and i love the challenge of, coming up with au's and crossovers for door. she comes from a small fandom to begin with, so i'm happy to toss her into the world of your muse too. so please come to me with any/all ideas for crossovers and the like. love love love them.

Bro im gonna Like shoot ms (not really just an over exaggeration) but I met some guy in a game and he was like voting for me in the game (it was a sandbox mode and you could throw these gold hearts called votes) and he kept voting me and I was confused so we talked I asked how he was and how his day when and how long he was playing the game for and it seemed like he was flirting with me BUT I have a bf so I felt awkward but I still wanted to step out my comfort zone and make a new friend nothing more nothing less so I ask for his discord and I get it but after I go to my friends server w js my friends and explain what had happened bc I didn’t know if he was looking for a chance or to flirt (I met my bf in this server he was in there) and he COMPLETELY was pissed and was saying stuff like “Oh I hope you guys get married!!” “Such a cute ship” “So adorable” and im like WTF youre my bf I wouldn’t cheat on you for a random person in a game and that I genuinely didn’t know the person’s intentions so I just talked to him anyway 😭 he obviously didn’t trust me enough or believe it so he gets upset. After that I one of the server members and his close friend and she was like “(My boyfriends name) You’re so Real” and then said “Bro if my bf ever said this” as if anyone asked her and then she said “womp womp why r u so upset over a ignoring a bitch you don’t know” clearly she’s blind then I said something like “It felt rude and I didn’t know what he even wanted so why would I be mean instantly?” And she said “ok” after my bf had said “ ‘I’m so nice!!!’ Kys” and then after that I messaged him saying I wouldn’t cheat on him w someone I hadn’t known for more than 24 hours and that we met in a game so wtf and he clearly didn’t trust me. While this happened the server owner was watching and in my dms was like “The fuck they are literally shitting on you Your boyfriend is not good for you im sorry he’s being a jerk and has been for a while I wanna ban him and Liz” which I understood bc he was being mean several times and yes he has issues but he shouldn’t be mean to other ppl who haven’t done anything to him and Liz is a bitch so I said I understood and my friend had banned them and blocked them all on her alts and main account so now Liz and my bf think my friend had just left the face of the earth and im stuck on what Liz said it makes me wanna fight her bc she has her OWN bf and says she’s a man hater while having a bf and talking w mines which makes no sense,she’s a bitch and wants to be in my relationship when I have done nothing wrong and wants to instantly try to “save” my bf from literally nothing, she’s rude and so much more I have tried to move past it and be her friend but I just can’t 💀😭 (sorry if this didn’t make sense)

i apologize for just how long this post is but i have many opinions

my first and main recommendation would be cavern crusher! its sorta like minecraft except in roblox and you play as very bouncy things called “asterians”! and when i say "bouncy" i mean that every time you move the ears and tail go buck wild with the jiggle physics lmao they also sleep if you go without moving for too long which is very cute :3

you just mine blocks and you can place them and build stuff and basically do whatever you want! the world is your sandbox! it generates in real time every time you break a block as well! you can find water and lava in caves, but you can jsut swim in both no problem, without worrying about oxygen. and theres so many ores you can find! including some very silly ones like orekitty (just a big orange cat) or vintage computer (need i say more)

the devs do plan on adding combat to the game, with there being enemies in caves to deal with, but until that gets added theres zero threats in this game at all. even the literal bombs you can find in caves only blow up blocks! no damage to you at all! and the music in this game is very nice :)

it also does this thing where when you leave the game (either by pressing leave or closing out of roblox entirely) it plays a little audio thing for it! the only other game ive seen do this is pressure and i always thought that was very cool so im glad more games are doing it now :3

if you like fighting games i'd recommend phighting! with a ph instead of an f and the exclamation mark at the end. idk why its named like that. but its got a cool premise! each character is based around a specific gear (ban hammer, rocket launcher, subspace tripmine, etc) and all of the maps are larger remakes of old roblox maps!

regretevator is also pretty fun! you get in the elevator and it takes you to a bunch of random floors! some are shops, some are obbys, theres a couple of boss fights, its pretty fun! it definitely does have its moments though (one floor is a dark creepy maze, one is the backrooms where players get chased by something, fuckign flesh cousin exists). i personally wouldnt consider it to be "scary", but i doubt im the best judge of that.

theres also the classic murder mystery 2 which is about as scary as among us. that is to say: only scary if you have an extreme phobia of death and/or murder.

its been a pretty long time since i actually played either of these games so theres a good chance at least one of them has gone to shit with newer updates, but creatures of sonaria and dragon adventures were pretty fun! the first is a survival game where you play as different creatures, and the second is where you just own dragons!

and theres some pokemon-style creature capture games like doodle world! im picking doodle world specifically because the creatures are extremely cute theyre literally just silly drawings :3

theres also some games that are intended for roleplaying, but i just kinda make characters and explore the map without talking to anyone. griffins destiny, dragons life (including the legacy version), wings of fire, wolves life dawn and wolves life 3, a wolves pack, a lions pride, felandia, warrior cats ultimate edition, horse world, etc. two of those are specifically based around book series but you dont need to know anything about either to run around aimlessly so im including them!

i hope at least one of these is something you could enjoy! :D

I'm looking for some non-tycoon games to play that aren't horror. All I ever play are tycoons and simulators, and I only know of like.... maybe 3 games that aren't either of those, but they're games that include jumpscares and scary stuff, and. I'm just not built for horror games. I get spooked way too easily

With that in mind, does anyone have any suggestions for games that I should try?

Logan gently pulled Virgil closer to him by the hand. “With me, little one,” he scolded gently. “No running off now.”

Virgil pouted up at Logan and Roman laughed. He grinned at his Husband. “C’mon, he’s just a little excited. It’s his first time out since we’ve moved, Mi Amor.” Roman squeezed Logan’s other hand. “It’s understandable that our little Prince is a little excited.”

“That doesn’t mean that I want him to be running into traffic,” Logan sighed, fighting back a smile. He stopped across from where the park was. “Now Virgil, what do we do before we cross the street?”

“Look both ways,” Virgil muttered dutifully. He looked both ways and then looked up at Logan for approval.

Logan gave his son a smile and nodded. “Good.” He looked himself before the small family crossed the street to the park. Once they were safely on the other side, Logan released Virgil’s hand and Roman and Logan watched Virgil run off to the sandbox.

Roman smiled fondly and led Logan over to one of the nearby benches. They sat down and Logan took out the poetry book from his bag for the two of them to read while also keeping an eye on Virgil. Roman snuggled up to Logan, resting his head on Logan’s shoulder and closing his eyes, ready for a relaxing afternoon of Logan reading poetry to him. Unfortunately, they only got through one poem, “The Tiger” by William Blake, when a woman sat down next to them.

“Beautiful day out, isn’t it?” The woman said, flashing them a bright, fake, smile. 

Logan gave her a polite smile and nodded. “Yes, it is.” He flicked his eyes over to Virgil, still playing in the sandbox, and then turned back to the book. He started back on the line he was reading to Roman, “And what shoulder, & what art, Could twist the sinews of thy heart?”, when the lady poked him in the bicep.

He glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. “Yes?”

“Is that your little boy?” She asked, pointing to Virgil. Logan glanced over and smiled at his son. 

“Yes, mine and my Husband’s,” Logan answered, gently nudging Roman to open his eyes. If he had to deal with social interaction, then so did Roman.

Roman opened his eyes with a huff and sat up, giving the woman a smile that was every bit as fake as her own but much more believable. “A pleasure. I’m Roman and this is my Husband Logan.”

The woman nodded and went to say something but was interrupted by a soft and shy, “Daddy? Papa?” The adults all looked down to see Virgil standing in front of him. 

Roman laughed and stooped down, scooping Virgil up into his arms. “Hey there, little one! This is Virgil.”

“Oh, what a cute little guy,” the lady simpered. “Is he from a past marriage?”

A silence fell over the group and Logan narrowed his eyes at the woman. Roman held the toddler in his grasp a little tighter. “I’m sorry,” Roman said, tone sweet and dangerous, “that’s a rather personal question. But no, we adopted him.”

“Daddy and Papa chose me,” Virgil said happily, resting his head on Roman’s chest. “Cause they love me.”

The lady sneered and shook her head. She glanced at Logan and said in a very snooty tone, “So you don’t have any real kids?” 

Logan tensed and stood up, pulling Roman up with him. Roman looked like he was two seconds away from exploding but was too busy cooing down at Virgil who was repeating in confusion, “Real kids?”

“Wouldn’t call the one I have imaginary,” Logan hissed. 

He started to lead Roman away but he couldn’t stop the woman from calling after him, “I sure would! He’s not your real son!”

Logan clenched his hands and spat out, “What a terrible woman. Saying those things.” 

“A true Diablo,” Roman agreed. He ran his fingers through Virgil’s hair, pressing a kiss to Virgil’s head. “Don’t you listen to a word that horrible woman said to you, my little Prince.”

Virgil didn’t speak for a second. He simply stared at Roman’s shirt, picking at the red sash his father was wearing. And then he looked up and said slowly, “I’m not your real son?” Tears leaked out of his eyes and slid down his cheeks. “But, but you chose me.”

Logan cursed that woman and cupped the four-year old’s face. “That’s right,” he said firmly. “We chose you and we love you. That woman is a spiteful little creature that doesn’t know what she is saying. You are my son and you are your Papa’s son and we love you.”

“That’s right, Virgil,” Roman agreed. “You are our son. End of story. Okay, Love?”

Virgil’s face started to crumble and he nodded. Roman cooed and cupped the back of Virgil’s head, bringing it to rest on his shoulder. “I think that maybe we should all head home for the day. Maybe watch some Disney or something like that.”

“Satisfactory,” Logan nodded. He sent one last glare over his shoulder at the woman still sitting on the bench before walking away from the park with his Husband and son.

Finally! Someone put my feelings about 5e into words!

I really felt like Wotc used 5e as the way to like... homogenized D&D and player experiences into a small handful of things that they created and controlled.

Very little content created to expand the sandbox, instead focusing on pre-made, complete in box adventures, purposefully leaving rules with glaring holes and purposefully vague with a shoulder shrug of "I dunno, figure it out yourself!" Which is why I feel 5e has such a huge homebrewing community so they can fill in the stuff that's missing.

Like I started playing 3.5 at the very very very end of it, like I played a handful of sessions then 4e came out, but even in those sessions I knew how much more to the game there was. I played a lot of 4e and just the amount of stuff in that edition, despite being very polarizing, was nuts. There was like 3 monster manuals, 3 players handbooks (each one after the first introducing a book's worth of new classes, new races, new magic items, new paragon paths and epic destinies, new feats, new stuff for role-playing, the works.) There were campaign and settings guides which added tons of gameplay stuff that encouraged you to pick up, say, the Eberron setting book even if you had no interest in ever playing an Eberron campaign. Every time a new book was released, I was excited! What new awesome stuff was going to be in it? What could I play next? What am I going to be able to talk with my friends about?

5e in comparison feels... just empty to me. There's no spark. No love. It feels cold and corporate. Like they're trying to sell you "Critical Role, The Home Game" instead of tools you can use for a collaborative storytelling experience. I don't care about most of the shit that comes out. It's not exciting to me. It's not like opening a present on Christmas morning. What, another pre-written adventure? Yawn. Its strange because 5e is probably the edition where im the most aware of all the different official campaigns and adventures, partially because people talk about them so much. I've even seen people talk about how many times they have played through Lost Mines or Storm King's or the like. Like they're talking about a board game. Like, only one new class released since the game came out? One?? And don't tell me about all the subclasses or whatever they keep releasing instead. A fighter is still a fighte, and two fighters of different subclasses will still have half the same abilities as each other, and no amount of subclasses will make personal favourite classes like Warlord exist.

What do you think wotc's biggest failing with 5e is, even if you like it?

The shift from a focus on expanding content that anyone can use as much or as little as they want to full-fledged (if you want to call it that) published adventures.

I loved 3.5 because there was SO MUCH. Yeah, not all of it was 100% balanced well, but they made it. And it was FUN. Prestige classes? GREAT. It made many characters feel unique. It gave people a direction and a flavor for their characters from early levels and let them build for niche circumstances that could be very campaign specific. The GRAY GUARD? Be still my heart. The necromancy options. Lovely.

They put out FIVE monster manuals. FIVE. They built entire systems of spellcasting that were entirely optional. I know they were a little controversial, but I LOVED the stuff in Tome of Magic, Tome of Battle, and the PSIONICS. Psionics were controversial but SHIT I loved psionics.

3.5 focused on giving people tons of options, and letting you pick what you wanted. Plus, it gave players an incentive to actually buy books. (Hey Wizards, if you want them to buy books, go back to this model lmao)

5e simply doesn't trust people to make their own fun.

"Hey Y/N! Listen i was thinking maybe we could go out to the coffee place down the road from UA if you wanted? N-not that you have too or anything i was just hoping and-"

"Id love too, does saturday work?"

And thats how i got stuck in this situation of trying to pick wich outfit was better, pastel sweater and skirt or big hoodie and torn jeans.

"Hmmmm, oh i know!"

I said with a smile as i put on the sweater and the torn jeans. I fixed my hair into a bun and left to coffee place, i think it was called Caffinated star town or something else space themed.

(time skip because i dont know how to write you walking to the café)

"H-hey Y/N!" izu said as i got closer to Star Town as the coffee place was called

"Hey Izu!"

We walked in and once we ordered our drinks, i got the (your favorite drink but space themed) and Izu got a Frozen Star (vanilla coffee with small bits of icecream in it and tasteless coloring so it looks like space). I began to look around and noticed that the roof looked like an open galaxy with lots of stars, the walls were a soft purple with white fairy lights and small space themed decore like star plushies and small LED plants, the floor was pitch black and in the center was a moon and a few stars around it.

"Wow, this place is so cool Izu! Thanks for inviting me here!" i laughed near the end of saying that.

Izuku PoV

I swear theres stars in their eyes, they're adorable.

"Its really no problem Y/N! Im happy you said yes to going with me!"

I laughed, i really am happy they came with me to here.

"But i..i need to talk to you about something"

I stutterd and my face felt like fire, i was blushing so much.

"Hmm? What is it Izu-Mido?"

Oh my they used that nickname from when we were kids, i still remember the day they game it to me...

"Hey Katsu, hey Izu!" Y/N smiled and laughed as they ran to Izuku and Kacchan.

They played in that sandbox for hours until Y/N had to leave with their guardian.

"Aww why do you have to go so soon Y/N? Cant we play for a bit longer?" young Izuku pouted and whimpered at his best friend leaving

"Yeah!! Cmon Y/N cant we play longer!?" young Katsuki whined and growled not wanting his friend gone so soon

"Im sorry young katsuki, young izuku, but i promise Y/N will be back tomorrow to play more. We have to go home and have dinner and im sure you both will soon also." Y/N's guardian said to the young boys who so badly wanted to keep playing with their friend, they tried to brighten up and said they're good byes as their own mothers called for them.

"Bye bye Y/N ill see you later!" young Izuku shouted as he ran to his mom, he always was a mommas boy.

"Psh bye Y/N, ill be back though and you better be here tomorrow when i am!" young Katsuki shouted as he turned and ran to his mom, he was scoulded for his behavour and Mitsuki apologized before leaving with her son.

"I promise Katsu! Bye bye Izu-mido!"...

Izuku PoV

I blushed and smiled at the thought, i must have been out for a bit because Y/N's waving their hand in my face

"Izuku? Izu!"

"Huh!? Oh sorry Y/N i spaced out for a bit."

They laughed and smiled at my pun

"So what was it you wanted to tell me anyway?"

I blushed and my face suddenly felt hot but i took a deep breath and sighed

"W-well i wanted to ask you if you...-if you-"

I gulped and closed my eyes

I took a deep breath and looked at the table

I snapped my eyes wide onto them and looked stunned before asking if they meant it

Taylor's POV A/n this will be in a 4 year old perspective

I stared kindergarten a few weeks ago and right now I'm sitting outside in the sunshine by the sandbox playing with some toys not really talking to anyone I'm really shy and haven't made friends yet. There are lots of other kids playing but not many where I am that's why I'm here.

I start hearing shouting I look around to see a small brunette boy on the floor I think my mommy know his mommy. The mean boys are shouting at him and keep pushing him to the ground the dirt now covering his jeans. I get up and stomp over there I shout "LEAVE HIM ALONE" the boy with orange hair says "he's a loser with no friends. Go away" this made me angry I pushed him away and said "he's my friend" I took his hand a we went back to the toys I was playing with.

Colbys POV

I was playing on the playground by myself I haven't really made friends yet but I'm trying I'm just shy. All of a sudden a group of boys come over and push me down start shouting that I'm a loser and stupid with no friend. I see a girl look to us and she comes over and shouts "LEAVE HIM ALONE" my momma knows her momma they talk all the time.

The boys with orange hair says "he's a loser with no friends. Go away" I think this made her mad she pushed him and grabbed my hand this is the first time a girl other than momma had held my hand and she brings me to the toys she was playing with and I sit with her. She has pretty green eyes and light brown hair she said "my name is Taylor, what's yours" I look at her with tears in my eyes and say "Cole, Cole Brock" she stands up and walk over to me giving me the biggest hug she can "don't cry forget them we can be best friends everything will be ok now" she pauses and then says "I'm going to call you Colby" I smiled and said "I'd like that" I couldn't wait to go home and tell my momma that I made a friend we played all day taking about everything we liked.

We both love spongebob, mac and cheese and chicken nuggets and we both hate that boy with the orange hair.

Taylor's POV

We both love the same things and have one thing we hate in common. He's gonna be my friend forever I know it. Im going to tell my mommy all about Colby when I get home she'll be so excited for me to have a friend maybe he can come over and play one day.

Skip to home time

I see my mommy and give her a big hug and tell her all about my day she's so excited about my new friend. I see Colby and run over to him giving him a big hug "I can't wait for tomorrow Colby we're going to have so much fun" my mommy comes over and starts taking to his mommy while we play. Im really excited for tomorrow with my new best friend.

Colbys POV

When I got out of class I saw Taylor run to her momma then I saw mine and I ran straight to her I told her all about what had happened with the boys and that a pretty girl came and saved me. I don't think she believed me until Taylor came running up to me she gave me a giant hug and it made me smile so big she said "I can't wait for tomorrow were going to have so much fun" her momma come over and starts talking to mine and we go and play while they talk. Im so happy she helped me today were going to be best friends forever.

Lesa Colbys moms POV

I was shocked when Cole came running out of school his baby blues were brighter if possible he started telling me all about the day he'd had and the boys that were picking on him.

What he said next shocked me he told me about the beautiful girl that saved him and I started to think maybe he'd hit his head, then out of no where a girl comes running up to him and gives him the biggest hug that the tiny girl was capable of she said something to him about tomorrow and they ran off to play.

When her mom came over I was so happy it was one of my friends Charlotte we had known each other for years and were waiting for the kids to meet on their own I told her all about what Cole had said before scooping him up to take him home for the night while she did the same with Taylor.

Narrators POV

Over the next few months the kids became close and slowly started having play dates. This went on until both kids were 5. However it changed very quickly by the time summer had come around the kids spent all their free time together even sleeping at each other's houses. They did everything together their parents called them inseparable, joint at the hip and so on. Both of them protected each other from the bully's they encountered and stuck together no matter what happened. This plays a very important part in what happens next.

CHS week 4:Interaction Design

This week we went to the V&A for the exhibition play and disrupt, ive already been once but it was nice to go again

The exhibit does a sort of introductions to more in depth thinking into video game design, they selected a variety of video games to show the ways in which interaction can be done. Almost all of them i have played so it was very fun to see them shown in this big gallery space

The first game shown was journey , and indie game with a focus on atmosphere, one thing i didn't know that surprised me was the footage shown of the developers recording themselves walking and running the way the mute characters in the game walk, it seems obvious in hindsight but it really shows how thoughtful most design choices in video games are. The idea of working in video games has crossed my mind before , thats how i initially got into drawing and seeing the process has definitely reignited that spark.

In a conversation with my peers someone mentioned how in splatoon , the ads show across the Tokyo metro were for the fashion line in the game itself, this was was very interesting because not only is it a fictional brand its adverting the brand that is the game itself and its focus on fashion. 

Another interesting thing was a video we watched that showed the community aspect of video games, specifically eve online, were big companies and political warfare are born from the players themselves by being a sandbox game.
