people on the internet need to learn about nuance and apply it to their modes of critical thinking
#sick of reading discourse about heartstopper about harry styles about our flag means death about representation about every single film#every single tv show every single musician past and present about politics about war foreign relations culture theory EVERYTHING#where people constantly throw the baby out with the bathwater or they force you to choose between two massively sweeping statements#it's like. surely we cannot go on like this there has to be a breaking point we're all going to die or drive ourselves insane if this is#how we talk to each other and engage with everything all of the time no?#not everything in the world has to match ur exact lived experience#contradictory ideas can coexist#there are exceptions to every rule#what doesn't work for u can work for someone else#not everything has a binary yes/no answer#you don't have to share every single thought that goes through ur head with the world#you don't have to frame ur feelings about something in moral/ethical terms to justify how u feel about it#please everyone just shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#;txt
