Jolting, you sat up in your bed, awakened from slumber by a whipping crash, followed by splintered glass cracking on the hardwood floors of your quarters.
Heart thumping in your ears from the shock, your head instinctively turned towards the shattered window, where the translucent fabric of the curtains were being dragged out with the cool night’s wind. Brows furrowing, your gaze turned to a small, thick object on the floor, illuminated by hints of moonlight, presumably the very cause of the shattering.
You felt an odd feeling, something in the wind warning you that you weren’t alone, you looked over your room, checking for anything out of order. There was nothing out of place, it wasn’t until your second skim over the room that you saw it. A shadow in the darkest corner, the corner where light barely hit it, something to do with the measurements of the architecture, you’d been told. It was there though, undeniably.
“Who are you?” You spoke, shakily, loud against the otherwise still atmosphere, your voice caused a small laugh to come from the unknown shadow.
“That’s your first question?” They spoke, an air of condescension about them.
“I should like to know the identity of the person who has broken into my quarters,” You steeled your voice, trying to portray an image of fearlessness though you were betrayed by the slight tremor in your hands as they clutched onto the bedsheets for any hope of comfort, “May you at least come out from the shadows?” Your fear was definitely betrayed then, as the person stepped forward, the light now casting shadows over their features.
You looked them over, noticing a slight reflection from the glass in their spectacles, a black band covering one quarter of their face, obscuring the right eye. You shook, this was no person from court, maybe not even from this city. Their hardened features, accessories and strange attire placing them from somewhere else entirely. Who is this stranger? What business have they with you?
You find yourself lacking words, having been woken up in such a way was causing a lack of signals to be sent to and from the brain. You were just staring at them, stunned to silence.
“No more questions, huh?”
“I-I just, am confused,” You responded, blinking away tears that formed as you truly grasped the situation you were in, and anything that could happen from here.
“Well, let me explain then,” they shrugged, “You’re coming with me,”
You ogled, “Coming with you, where exactly?”
“As it turns out, daughters are the best way to get a man to pay up,” They chuckled, you didn’t like the implications of this, at all. What did this have to do with your father? Last you had spoken to him, he was furious at you, having been ‘disrespectful’ to one of the countless suitors he had tried arranging for you. You don’t know why he still bothered; every time each one of the suitors had travelled and began any attempts at courting you, you’d reject them.
“I hope you know I’m not going to marry you,” you’d said to one of them, once. You could almost laugh at the gears turning inside their heads as they looked at you as if you were an entity. You’d add in a couple of comments here and there about how their attempts were foolish and in vain, how they coat their dark intentions behind sweet words and promises. You could always see through them. Plus, it was hard to deny the entertainment you’d get from seeing their flustered faces, set on denying all accusations whilst having no actual defence, before huffing and wandering away, not before having words with your father about how they would never marry such a disobedient and insolent woman. Was this your father trying to teach you a lesson? No. That doesn’t feel right, they emphasised paying up. Pay for what? You wondered, had your father been up to something?
“Unfortunately, that makes you collateral,” they paused, looking down as they adjusted the sword that was clinging onto their side, sheathed away, for now. You hadn’t even noticed it before, shuddering as you realised you were completely defenceless. Not a weapon nearby you could use, even if there was, you wouldn’t be able to formulate an attack, regardless. “So, you’d better listen to what I say, and come with me,”
After a beat, with no response, they continued, “I will only ask nicely once, princess,” Sighing as one hand moved to their hip, the other remained on the hilt of their sword, “I’d prefer to do this cordially, if you wanna make it ugly, that’s your choice.”
You blinked, truly at a loss, what the fuck was happening?
“If I go with you, will you tell me what’s going on?” You hated the way that sounded on your tongue, so helpless and lost— a feeling you resented, pride dissipating and crumbling into a tiny speck.
“You have to come with me to find out,”
Wood creaked beneath your feet, steps hesitant as the stranger escorted you along the way, your vision totally blinded as they had wrapped a cloth around your eyes. Closing your senses from the rest of the world, all you could do was rely on the sounds of hectic chatter and sea waves, a salty scent around you.
You’d been walking for what felt like miles, but your manor wasn’t too far away from the sea, that stretched out to meet a vast ocean, the only connection between your country and any others. You knew you had been taken to the coast, based on the cries of seagulls and the humming water.
The stranger’s hand was placed on the lower of your back, guiding you, as well as deterring you from any sudden moves. You probably would’ve tried to run away from them, were it not for the clang of metal that was attached to the stranger’s hip.
“Can you at least tell me your name?”
“I think you’re confused on our roles here, sweetheart,” They chuckled, “You don’t get to order me around,” They added a slight push at your back, emphasising the fact that they hold all the cards, whilst you’re just leverage. That was the only part of this you understood.
Sighing, you sneered your lip. You were starting to get pissed off, this stranger completely disrupted your sleep, blindfolded you, is kidnapping you, and you still have no clue as to why. You needed answers.
Your steps came to a halt, when you felt the stranger press you forward to nudge you, you hardened your legs to the ground.
“I’m not continuing,” A pause, “You said you wanted to do this cordially, then tell me your name,”
The stranger sighed, you could almost hear the roll in their eyes, “Look, we’re almost here, okay?”
“Just a few more steps and then I’ll tell you,”
Another nudge at your back, along with a hand meeting yours, “Watch ya step,” They spoke, guiding you up what felt like a ramp, their hand leading you.
A door slammed behind you, the stranger removed their hands and disappeared for a short time before you felt them behind you again, fingers untying the knotted cloth. You let out a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down. Were they going to kill you?
Your eyes felt slightly raw after being covered so tightly for that long, after you adjusted to the air and light around you, you could take in your surroundings.
The room was slightly dimmed, lighted only by a few oil lamps that burned away in their designated corners, you noticed countless jars on the shelves, preserving different sea creatures and other things you could not recognise. Notes and maps were scattered all over the floor and the desks, piles of books, rustic and handmade, but neat and organised— in its own way. This was the room of someone who studied and researched, you could recognise the frantic illustrations immediately, could feel the passion that lingered in the room.
The stranger moved in front of you, “You just gonna stare?” Your eyes took them in now, fully in vision this time, with no more shadows to hide behind, no more cloth. Their eyes were a soft, dark brown, layers of hair falling over the sides of their face, the tips rimmed with leftover structure from saltwater. Strong jawline and a strong nose, their glasses sat atop the bridge, leaning down slightly, the black band you noticed before still covering their eye. Their attire consisted of a loose black, long-sleeved shirt, a large slit down the chest area, not tied with the laces, allowing you to see the vast black strings with pendants that made up the necklaces wrapped around their neck. You recognised it as a shirt that was traditionally stitched for men, though they certainly looked much better in it than any man could. Loose black pants which emphasised their slender waist, with dark long boots, you could see scuffing on the edges of them from wear, the laces splitting from frequent tying. You let out a sigh, before speaking.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Hange,”
“You’re not from this land,” You say, “You’re a person of the sea,”
Hange hummed, their hand meeting their hip once again.
“Are you going to kill me?”
They let out a laugh, one so inappropriate it almost made you feel stupid, “Sweetheart, if I was going to kill you, d’you think I’d have taken you here?”
“Well, it would’ve been foolish to kill me in my quarters,”
“Leverage needs to be alive to be worthwhile, that’s the whole point,” The way they spoke unnerved you, with their charismatic words and smug voice. Hints of a smirk tugging at their lips.
“Where is ‘here’, anyway?” You didn’t feel stable, the floor rocked up and down slightly, your stomach turning a little as you adjusted to the slight weightlessness of the structure. “We’re on water, I can hear the waves,”
“Don’t worry, we haven’t set sail yet,” They walked over to their desk, moving around some papers, studying its contents, “There’s still business to tend to before we do,” In other words, your father.
You watched them, the way their sword clung and clanked against the hardwood of the desk, their tall stature almost reaching the short ceiling of the cabin, hand splayed on the desk for stability. Hair tied up at the back, with strands spilling out of their tie.
“What’s my purpose here?” Your arms crossed over your stomach, fingers grabbing at the sleeves of loose fabric of your nightdress, feeling vulnerable.
“Your father’s in some trouble,” They chuckled, your heart sank, “He owes me,”
“For what?”
“You sure ask a lot of questions, princess.”
“I’m not a princess,” you replied, voice tensing. “Do not address me as such,” Hange’s lips tilted, noticing your misgivings, the tense shoulders and a quip in your upper lip. Distaste. Interesting.
“Your father’s trying to make you one. Queen Consort, as I’ve heard,” Your brows furrowed.
“I do not follow,”
Hange looked up from their pages, gazing right at you. You tried swallowing, throat dry, as they hoisted themselves off the desk and stepped closer.
“He commissioned us, my crew,” Hange spoke, “To track and retrieve the Marleyan jewel.”
“I thought that was legend, an ancient myth of a mystical jewel, passed down from stories.”
“Oh, it’s very real, my lady.” You sighed, at least they were addressing you properly this time.
“And a very dangerous job, at that.” You stared at Hange, looking for any hints that this was just an elaborate joke. None were found, though. They were serious.
“I lost two good men, almost the rest of my crew for that buffoon,” They sighed, a flash of anger in their eyes, rubbing the skin of their jaw, “We retrieved this jewel, and your father tried to rob me blind, I want compensation.”
“Why would he go to those lengths? I do not understand,”
“For you, princess.”
When you did not answer, Hange continued, “Apparently this was his golden opportunity, get the long-desired jewel to gift the King an offering for your hand to the prince. Establish power and riches, and a good suitor for his daughter.”
Your stomach churned, you knew your father was adamant on marrying you off, but this? This was something different, sinister. You knew Hange was telling the truth, the intricacies of the story fell into place too well to be a lie.
Your father was truly a despicable man, hungry for power, and uncaring of those he stepped on to get to his station. Now you were paying for his greed. You think back to your mother, wishing she had outlived him, maybe you would be different, now.
“He cost me two men, our stock and supplies,” Hange pressed, shaking their head, “I can’t have that.”
“So you take me for ransom?”
“If he is not willing to pay up, I’m taking it upon myself to make him. One way or another, he will pay.”
Tears rimmed the ducts of your eyes, you blinked them away, a futile attempt to not show weakness. You know what that meant, either in physical currency or emotional currency, even if he cared little for you, he’d be paying with the loss of a guaranteed seat. To a man like that, that’s punishment enough. You chewed the corner of your lip, nerves eating you up.
“I can’t believe he’d do this,” You could actually, it was more the disbelief of how quickly your situation had changed, “All to marry me off to a disgusting man, be done with me whilst he sits comfortably,”
“You don’t wish to marry a handsome prince? Live a life of wealth and comfort?” Hange looked amused, almost perplexed that this was against your wishes.
“I wish for nothing of the sort,” You sneered, “I crave a life of my own choosing.”
Hange’s features softened, feeling a tug of pity before shutting the feeling down. They almost related to you, almost. Before reiterating to themselves that you were the same as all the other rich nobles. Wealthy and comfortable in your ostentatious manors, with even more ostentatious dresses, whilst the rest of the population suffered, starved and fought for dregs of burnt bread and half pints of spoiled milk. You were no different. No different.
“Careful, my lady, or I’ll sail this ship with you in it,”
You let out a saddened laugh, “Better than what he was planning for me,” You snuck a glance at the circular port window, watching as people were busying themselves with tasks. Filling up crates of fruits, dried fish, barrels of wine and weapons. You mulled for a second, it could be worse, Hange could’ve killed you at the first meet, or even worse, your father successfully got his hands on the jewel, and shipped you off to live a life with a prince who couldn’t even fold his own clothes, or bathe himself. You could visualise your father sitting back, smug and content as he finally got what he always wanted. Abundant wealth and power.
“I do not wish to stay here.” You said, voice more confident than it had been the entire time. Hange looked up at you, surprise taking over their features, “You may demand whatever compensation you require from my father, but…”
“When you set sail, I wish to come with.”
Hange had left the captain’s cabin for quite some time, leaving you inside alone as you couldn’t be allowed on the deck yet, not trusted to not do anything stupid yet. They had to check on a few of the crewmates first. You were an interesting character to say the least, Hange could tell you were stubborn, though that’s normal for a high-born, accustomed to making demands and having them realised. It was easy to imagine you not mixing well at court, with your disregard for hierarchy and noble customs. They almost laughed at your conviction when you said you wished to board the ship, of your own accord. The most determined glaze over your features. That was an unexpected oversight, Hange didn’t expect you to go so willingly. A part of them was relieved, content they didn’t need to make it bloodier than it had to be. They have morals, after all. Hurting an innocent woman would provide no respect amongst their crew, not when the real fish was the father.
The crew’s respect and admiration for the captain of the ship was of utmost importance, they need a leader they could trust and admire, it was easy enough to have mutiny on your hands. The ship was passed down to Hange from their father, but the trust and good dynamic of a solid crew, you have to earn yourself. Hange had established that respect from one of their first expeditions, under their confident lead the ordeal had been speedy and efficient. Hange ordered the rewards to be split and distributed as was deemed fair. With multiple feats over harsh waters and perilous expeditions, Hange had consistently proved themselves as a strong leader, they ran a tight ship and their crew meant everything to them.

You sat there in your silly nightdress, ennui eating at your brain as you sat, wishing you could change into something else. Arms wrapped around your legs, looking around as you waited. Deciding to get up, you looked around the room, it was rather nice, for what it was.
You walked up to the shelves, sea oddities neatly placed preserved in jars, with linen labels pinned underneath. You noticed various species, octopi, starfish, eels, crabs and lobsters, and other creatures you had never seen before in your books. There were also drawn illustrations of the anatomy, their organs and bone structure— did Hange do all this?
Your eyes trailed around, landing on the maps and compasses discarded around the tables and floor, with coded markings and notes around certain landmarks, sketches of what you assumed to be distant lands. Looking in awe, wandering at all the things you had never heard of, let alone seen before. Hange must be so knowledgeable, so well-travelled, so.. free. All the things you wished you could be.
Running your fingers over the maps, you jumped back into propriety as the cabin door swung open, Hange’s footsteps filling the room. They looked at you, having noticed your sudden switch in demeanour.
“You inspecting my collection, my lady?” Their back was to you, hanging their outer coat on one of the nail pegs that had been hammered into the wall.
“I’m sorry, I..” You looked down, “I was just curious,”
“It’s alright, I’m quite fond of it myself,” They joined you, standing to your side and looking at where you had been caught touching the delicate papers.
“You did all of this?”
“Is that so surprising?” They chuckled, crossing their arms over their chest. “No,” You paused, “I have just never seen anything quite like this,”
“There are many wonders out in the world, I like to keep note of them,” “For plundering?” You joked, too late to bite it back before it slipped out.
They laughed, “Not everything is to be plundered, sometimes it’s enough to just take it in and observe,”
You looked up at them, there was something you couldn’t quite place about them, yet. They were unlike the pirates you had read about or heard bedtime stories of as a child.
“The world has many corners of beauty, they’re deserving of respect and admiration." Agreeing, you pointed at the display of jars, thinking back to your own research on botany, categorized and illustrated, frowning as you realised it was all left behind. All those hours spent bending your neck under candlelight wasted. “I have a similar collection, pressings of flowers and plants- a little like yours, illustrations and marked under their specifications: edible, toxic, healing,"
Hange looked at you, "Sounds wonderful," unexpecting to have anything in common with someone of your stature, and yet, here they were. "It's all in my quarters, so I doubt I shall see it again," You breathed out, trying to not make it seem like a loss. Hange's gaze turned towards the floor, feeling slightly culpable that they had taken that away from you.
Straightening their back up, they moved back to their satchel, opening it wide and grabbing some folded clothing, jars with some clear liquid, slightly cloudy. Moonshine, you noted. Easier to distil your own rather than paying double for liquor.
“This is for you,” They hummed, holding out their hand waiting for you to walk over and grab them.
“What is it?”
“Provisions,” They shrugged, “And some clothes, we don’t have a lot aboard, but you can have my cast-offs, they were going to be left at the port anyway.”
You looked at them like they had grown seven heads, not expecting sudden kindness from someone who kidnapped you only a few hours ago.
“This where you say ‘thank you, Hange’.” There was the smugness again, an impish look on their features, you rolled your eyes you stepped closer.
Grabbing the items from them, “Thank you, Hange,” You felt meek, under their heavy gaze as you said their name for the first time. It felt strange hearing it from your own mouth, “Any longer in that nightdress and I probably would’ve thrown myself overboard,”
They laughed, “Don’t think you’ll prefer my clothes any more, truthfully, but if you’re going to stay here for now, might as well blend in.”
“Anything is better than this,” You ran your fingers over the fabric.
“Get dressed, it’s mealtime soon,” “You’re letting me eat?”
They looked at you strangely, “I’m not letting a person on my ship starve, I’m not barbaric,” They stated as if it was obvious, it might’ve been, but not to you.
“Thank you,”
Nodding, Hange left you to get changed. Giving you privacy as they shut the door behind them, you waited a few seconds before undressing. You weren’t accustomed to wearing pants, nobility requiring you to wear frilly dresses that cut off your circulation and itched at your neck and wrists, you were rather excited to adorn some comfortable cloth, for once.
As you manoeuvred the loose shirt over your limbs, you noticed a lingering musk of salt and sandalwood? It was rather pleasant, you would normally make your own scented oils and perfumes from boiled flower petals, lavender and honeysuckle, plants native to your country. This scent was uncommon, usually gifted to you at court from wealthy travellers. You lifted the fabric closer to you, inhaling, it truly was divine. Is this what Hange smells like? You couldn't honestly say you hated it.
Slipping your legs through the pants, they were a bit over your standard size, you tucked the wide bottoms into your own boots. You were glad you opted for your hunting boots rather than your daily shoes. Not quite sure that you had put everything on properly, as the fit felt odd. Looking down, everything felt slightly too big and made you feel like a child in adult’s clothing. Frowning you tried tucking in the shirt, though that didn’t really seem to help either.
There was a knock at the cabin door, “Are ya decent?”
The concept made you chuckle, Hange treated you with a lot more respect and propriety than some of the men at court.
“Yes.”
“Never had to knock on my own door before,” Hange joked, letting themselves in, gazing over at you in your fresh clothes. Their smile dropped ever so slightly as their eyes travelled over your new attire. Hange's poet blouse hanging on you, you had, of course, actually tied the laces at the chest, you were a Lady after all. Kinda suits you, they thought, before shrugging it away to hidden corners.
"Does it look alright? It's a little big," "You complaining?" You flustered, not wanting to come across as ungrateful, "Not at all, I-" "I'm messing with you, may I?"
When you nodded, they walked up closer to you, eyes unreadable. You stiffened up, back a little straighter when they brought their hands to the bottom of the blouse. Watching their movements hesitantly, Hange did not make contact with your eyes, they were so close to you. Catching that hint of sandalwood again, almost intoxicating as you honed your vision onto their hands. Looking for anything else to concentrate on, it didn’t help much as Hange focused on undoing the bottom three catches, revealing your uncovered abdomen. They grabbed at the two, now separate hangs of the shirt, your breath hitching when their fingers delicately grazed your bare skin, a minute jerk of your stomach as Hange began tying the fabric together so it fit tighter around your waist. So that was the trick to it, then? You must admit, it was an improvement.
You let out a heavy breath when they were done, and finally stepped away. It was harder to breathe when Hange was that close, you will not let that happen again. Feeling far too clouded upon their proximity, perhaps you were allergic to the fragrance, you reasoned.
“Better?” Their voice lowered, awaiting your judgment,
“Much, thank you.”
Mealtime came quickly after, you hadn't expected it to be so busy, or so populated. How many people does it take to effectively run a vessel of this size? Hange led you to the upper deck, evidently the largest space aboard, where mealtimes commonly occurred. A large pot of warm meat stew was being led out by a small woman from the galley, placed upon the floor as the crew grabbed portions as they pleased. Hange passed you a ceramic dish, before ladling a couple spoonfuls into your plate.
Thanking them, you looked around, spotting barely any dining tables or chairs, mainly stools or planks of wood nailed together to form a bench, most taken up by the sailors, as others sat themselves in the grooves on the ship deck, some on the rim of the ship itself. You shall not risk that, you thought, still adjusting to the feeling of a rocking vessel.
“You’re probably used to something more polished, but this is how we eat here,” Hange shrugged, “Try to enjoy the stew, Sasha truly works wonders with very little,”
“Landing at port was a godsend, I used fresh meat this time,” The brunette who brought out the food spoke, overhearing the conversation, who you assumed was Sasha. You stilled, this time? What about every other time, you thought, shuddering. Well, no time to adjust like the present. Sticking the spoon into the stew, you took a mouthful, before looking up at Hange in wonder, eyes wide, “This is delicious,”.
“Thank Sasha, she keeps us all standing,” Hange joked, placing a hand upon Sasha’s shoulder.
“What do you normally eat?” You asked, directing your question over to Sasha,
“Usually what we can grab and preserve for a long time, dried meats, beans, your city has a lovely selection of fruits so we’ve stocked some of those, too!” She smiled at you, and you found that she had quite a comforting presence, feeling at ease, you hoped you could form a friendship with her.
Hange excused themselves, as they had something to attend to with someone called Levi. You watched them as they walked away, interacting with their crewmates, laughing with them over something you couldn’t hear. They definitely knew how to command attention, their entire being was self-assured, and confident in themselves and their abilities. Dragging your eyes away, back to Sasha, who watched you with a smile on her face.
“You’re not what I expected when Hange told us the plan,”
“I hope I haven’t disappointed,” you retorted, not really knowing how else one could respond to that. Sasha simply laughed, “It’s a great deal different, but not disappointing,”.
You had remained on the deck, the crew wanting to have a little friendly spar for morale. If this was the only entertainment you could get, you’d gladly take it. Having finally secured a spot on one of the benches, you watched as different spars played themselves out.
After a few, though, it was all starting to become a bit monotonous. Feeling your eyes glaze over, you were suddenly conscious of the fact that you hadn’t had a good nights rest since Hange took you, where would you even sleep tonight?
Your attention was redirected when a crewmember called out Hange’s name, challenging them to a spar. The newly formed crowd cheered as Hange made their way into the sparring space. A smirk on their lips as they vaunted, hand clasping their sword as it was unsheathed. Finally take a good look at it, it was a fine piece of metal, sleek and thin. The handle was adorned with intricate patterned etchings.
You took notice of how Hange handled the blade, slender fingers wrapped around the hilt as they pointed it towards the opponent. No shaking, no hesitation. A sturdy, stable grasp, with an arrogant side smile that captivated you, eyes glued on their movements as the opponent tried to disarm them, unsuccessfully. Hange was slightly more agile, their body flowed like liquid, vivacious as they fought. It seemed like they could almost foresee the man’s footing and which way he’d direct an attack. They must’ve sparred together many times. A few more attempts and Hange trapped his blade, lifting his own up and twisting their arm. His sword fell to the floor with a clang, reverberating against the wooden deck.
“Damn it, Captain!” The opponent yelled out, frustration in his voice as he thought he’d actually win this time, Hange only hung their head back and laughed, the strands of hair that edged down their face slipped back, exposing their jaw and neck. A gentle smile escaped your lips as you watched, they looked so liberated, so strong. Hange truly was an enigmatic figure, they carried themselves with authority that you can’t say you’d ever seen elsewhere. They were charismatic, magnetic, you could see that they truly had the admiration of their crew.
“You’ll have to try harder to beat me,” Hange teased, sheathing their sword, a mischievous glaze in their eyes as they landed on you. Your heart picked up, unable to pull your own gaze away from theirs, almost enchanted when you noticed the corner of their lips tilt up.
Breaking away from the contact, you felt your ears grow warm. Deciding to find the wooden deck the most interesting thing around you, until scuffed boots appeared in your line of vision. Looking up, Hange had stepped closer to you, placing their hand into a pocket of their pants.
“Time to retire, my lady?”
Fumbling, you flustered, “Where am I to sleep?” Members of the crew were scattered, some sleeping on the floor of the deck, some had set up rustic hammocks, whilst others continued to wander the floor.
“In my quarters,” Hange stated as if it was obvious, “Unless you’d prefer to sleep next to that lot,” They pointed at the others, crewmates who slept on their stools with their heads resting on their arms placed on the brim of the ship. The expression on Hange’s face made it clear that they were mocking you, perfectly aware of how you would not prefer that option.
“I fear my spine would crumble,” You jested, your lie blatant.
“Come,” They nudged their head towards the stern of the ship, where the Captain’s private quarters were. Hange’s comfortable room with all the fascinating oddities. You’d much prefer sleeping there, you thought.
Following, Hange led you back to their space, all things considered, you felt rather guarded there. Strangely safe and sound. Something tugged at your mind that Hange wouldn’t stand for anything to happen to you, not even for you specifically— Hange’s crew appeared quite companionable, you attributed that to their leader. You wondered how far those pleasantries extended, what acts of horror were allowed and which were not.
Closing the door behind them, Hange hung up their outer coat on its peg, rolling their shoulders as a minor stretch. Bringing their hands up to the back of their neck, rubbing the tender muscle atop their skin.
You stood, clutching your elbows under crossed arms. The silence in the cabin contrasted the raucous crew outside, some still sparring.
“Was that moonshine?” Your voice broke through the quiet, looking towards the jar of liquid Hange had brought you as 'provisions'. "No, it's grog," "Grog?" "Rum and water," Pulling a face, you continued.
"Is it good?" "Not really, but we don't drink it for its taste." Nodding, you picked up the jar, inspecting. "Did you make it?" Hange scoffed, smirking to themselves, their arms coming to cross over their chest, "It's far easier to steal from merchant ships, they're always overloaded with stock," "I see."
"I think I would like to try it," Hange raised their eyebrows at you, a playful look struck their features. "Oh?" They continued, "I brought it for you, thought you might need a little pick-me-up, have at it."
Uncorking the jar, the aroma of the liquor invaded your senses. "It smells strong," Hange nodded, watching with a devilish face as you brought the rim to your lips. After a gulp, you couldn't hold back a cough as the force of the harsh drink burned through your throat, your lips twisting and your eyebrows squeezing together. "That's revolting," "Yeah, it's pretty bad," Hange laughed, grabbing the jar from you and taking a bigger gulp for themselves, passing it back to you. Truly, you don't know what possessed you to take another sip, but it became easier to tolerate.
A few half hours passed, and you had placed yourself on Hange's wicker couch, your bed for the foreseeable. Arms wrapped around your legs which pressed to your chest. You were definitely feeling the effects of the liquor, tolerance much lower than Hange's, who sat on the floor beside the couch. Feeling far more relaxed, your tongue was a tad looser, speaking to and asking Hange questions you would've otherwise probably not asked. Truthfully, you were curious, there was a lot you wished to learn about them. When you first met Hange, you expected a lot of things, you didn't anticipate them being quite as respectful and honourable towards you as they were. There was more to them than what was seen on the surface, you wanted to see what lay deeper.
"But why? Why do you choose to live a life of piracy? Wouldn't it be far safer to live on land?" "Not everyone is lucky enough to be born atop riches, that's an irregular gift given only to a few," Hange spoke, their words thoughtful despite having drank even more than you, "Life at sea is more forgiving than the hardships on land." "Yes, but... there must be something else, even with the hardships at land?
"No offence, my lady," Pausing, "What would you know of hardship on land? My father worked his hardest, damn near broke his back, just to be cheated and stripped of his dignity by the greed of others." Looking down at your knees, a pull of guilt struck, knowing that it was because of people like you, and your father.
"This was his way of ensuring his own future, on his own terms and not under the boot of the wealthy who build their livelihoods on the backs of others." Hange sighed, taking another sip of grog, "At least on the sea, what you see is what you get, fight for what you want and share the rewards. It's not the most honest work, yes, but it's far more honest than those sitting in ivory towers clicking their fingers for anything they desire."
You watched as Hange spoke, their words were true, honest reflections of everything they stood for. Pirate or not, Hange had more substance than you'd ever encountered in anyone else in your life. More than those who coat their words with sugar, kissing up to their higher-ups all for a sliver of what they had.
Hange passed you the jar, and you swallowed another sip, barely tasting the alcohol by this point. This was the first you had heard of Hange's family. "I understand that," you hummed, "I've always thought it unfair, why others are seen as less based on menial things such as money. I suppose my father was my introduction to that, a part of me has always despised him."
"I wondered why you came with me so willingly, though if I had your father I would probably have been similar." Laughing, you nodded, "Truthfully, I have felt disillusioned from my life, perhaps I wanted something refreshing, a different way of being."
"Besides, you intrigued me, I find you fascinating," Your words slipped out, the grog having seriously impacted your inhibitions. Hange's eyes met yours, impish and deviant. The edge of their lip quipped up, delightfully amused. "Is that right, my lady?" They leaned their weight on their right hand that was pressed against the cabin floor, as their left remained hanging off the leg they had propped up. Your skin burned underneath their gaze, and you found that your tongue shattered. Unable to respond, all you could do was meet their half-lidded stare, thunder in your chest, as it lifted up and down. Shit. "I think that's enough grog for you, princess,"
Breaking contact, you pointed at Hange's shelves, to where their collection lay, clearing your throat before speaking. "Like your collection, it-it's fascinating, I wish I could've grabbed mine," You deflected, altering the matter, anything to stop the thunder in your chest and remember yourself. Anything to stop the blaze before it spread far beyond control.
"When we set sail, you can start a new collection." They softened, "One with all the new plants you'll see,"
You felt like shit the following morning. Head thumping with each movement, you could only sit on one of the benches with your hands holding up the weight. "Grog fever?" Sasha's teasing voice rang out through your ears, "Been there."
"This is awful," "First time?" "Obviously," You rubbed your eyes, as Sasha lightly patted you on the back, "You'll survive,"
Two presences joined you and Sasha at your bench, one was shorter with black hair, and the other stood upright, with scraggly blonde hair. "This is Levi, he's the First Mate, pretty much Hange's second in command," Sasha spoke, introducing you, "Don't mind him, he's a bit of an ass." "The other is Reiner, also a bit of an ass," She giggled, finding entertainment within herself.
Levi nodded at you, a silent greeting which you didn't mind as listening and speaking were already hard enough with the thumping in your head. Reiner looked at you, before pulling his hand out to meet yours. "Lovely to meet such a beautiful lady," He declared, eyes scouring down your body, "I'm looking forward to having you aboard," His words reeked with flirtation, his cold eyes geeking you out, discomfiting, not like the handsome brown ones you melted into yesterday.
Almost as if reading your mind, Hange appeared, they had left the ship this morning, as apparently, they had some errands to run. Hange set their hands on Reiner's shoulders, carrying an indistinct countenance. "Reiner, I have matters to discuss, come," They spoke, before walking a few steps ahead, waiting for him near the stern, arms crossed.
"Coming, captain," Reiner followed their lead, you kept glancing over to them as Sasha picked up chatter with Levi. You were straining your ears to catch snippets of their conversation, a little difficult over Sasha's voice in front of you, the little you could make out came from Hange: Not this one.
As you switched your attention back to the table, wondering what the hell that was about, you had just bypassed Sasha's looking towards you, her brows crinkling and face pulling into a look of recognition. Huh, she thought, how about that?
As the day passed, the time to set sail was nearing, planned for sometime within the next two days depending on supplies and readiness. Apprehension was harder to ignore, you thought about what your father was currently doing, and his reaction upon discovering you had not been in your chambers the following morning. Mulling, you cackled to yourself, clasping your hand over your mouth to mask the giggles as the gravity of what you had done struck you. Never did you imagine your life to end up in this way.
Hange entered their quarters, hanging up their coat, "What's so funny?" " "I just can't believe what I'm doing," your laughter settled down, breathing returning to standard as Hange placed themselves next to you on the wicker couch. "Yeah? You 'n me, both," They chuckled, pausing, "Hey, uh- I wanted to give you this,"
You studied them, catching a modest element of hesitation on Hange that you weren't familiar with seeing. Hange handed you a book, of beautifully bound brown leather, the spine stitching exposed with light-coloured thread. "What is this for?" "You left your notes behind, so this is for your new collection," You gaped at them, prompting Hange to continue, "For all the new plants you'll see and learn about,"
Wordless, you looked between Hange and the book in your hands, feeling the skin at your cheeks heating up. "Hange, this is- thank you, so much," Nodding, Hange steeled, standing themselves up, nearing the door before speaking, "The shantyman is going to play for a while, the crew loves him, so you don't wanna miss it," It was customary for ships to bring musicians. They'd sing songs and play tunes to boost morale amongst the crew, to carry them through the harrowing nights, and oftentimes even spread their hopes for some romance. You definitely wanted to witness it, Hange held the cabin door open for you as you both made your way to the deck.
The musician was doing his thing, leading the crew in song, banging a drum as melodies rang through the vessel. You noticed Sasha dancing with the crewmembers. It was a little overwhelming, the events you had attended at court were much milder and reserved than this, uppity, really. People would rarely dance, it was almost taboo. This was far distant from that, it was fun, delightful even—almost hedonistic in style.
You weren’t quite sure how to join yourself with them, the dances varying from person to person made it hard to fall into a step. Hange noticed your hesitance, before clasping your hand and pulling you towards them. Their hand resting upon your waist, drawing you tighter as they moved into a dance. The air in your lungs tripped over itself, shortening your breath. Stomach pressed against stomach.
Looking up at them, Hange donned a smug smile, higher up on one side of their mouth as it hung from their lips.
“Dance with me, princess,” Hange hummed, their voice lowered. There came the thunder in your chest again, the blaze was spreading.
“I’ve told you to not address me like that,” You whispered, the contention you planned on executing in your voice was nowhere near where you had planned. Instead, it was mild, for fear that would fumble over your own words, as your tongue shattered once again.
“I can’t help it,” They grinned, skimming over your flustered appearance. You don’t know what kind of sorcery Hange held, what alluring magnetism in their blood drew you to them. You felt yourself begin to melt into their tempting gaze, as you blinked.
“Careful, don’t look at me like that or I might begin to get the wrong idea,” Hange’s head sank towards your neck, your breath hitched. Their proximity was intoxicating, you found you couldn’t bear the weight of it. Pulling yourself away from Hange, you rushed to the cabin, pushing open the door and letting yourself inside.
Letting out a bulky breath, your face was burning up, body temperature way over standard as you rested your hands on Hange’s desk. Clamouring to compose yourself. Hange knocked at the door, before entering. Shutting your eyes, you remained still.
“You okay?” Ignoring them, you relented in your stance. The tension in the room increased, heart pulsing as you heard their footsteps reach close.
“I think I have fever,” You mumbled, Hange was right behind you now. You could feel their warmth reaching your back.
“Stand and face me, dear,” An assertive hand maintained at your waist, turning your body toward them Hange held down your gaze, keeping their hand in its place, squeezing. “This is no fever,”
Their free hand came to meet your jaw, thumb ghosting over the soft skin. Hange lowered their head towards you, their face so near, your sanity was in a thick haze, heavy and clouded. "I can see the dark in your eyes, my lady," Hange hummed, relishing in the glaze in your eyes, at the darkness pooling in your pupils as you glimmered up at them, eyes doe and lips plump from biting. The heat from their voice raised your skin, touring down your spine as an ache between your thighs pulsed.
Hange's lips brushed against the velvety flesh at the base of your neck, tentative. You shivered as you felt their lips leave delicate kisses, hand tightening around your waist. You shut your eyes, reeling in the sensation as Hange's igniting touch drew shaky breaths. Thighs clenched together as their lips reached the base of your ear, teeth tugging at the skin. You whimpered, as Hange's hands grabbed at the top of your thighs, just underneath the curve of your ass as they directed you to the top of the desk. Placing themselves between your thighs, before whispering, "Will you indulge me, dear?" With another kiss on your ear, you crumbled, arms wrapping around Hange's neck as your legs folded around their waist.
"Please, Hange, I can't bear it," You panted, core clenching around nothing, as desperation took over. Hange sighed, hearing their name fall from your lips as your body trembled was a sight to behold. Their lips finally landed on yours, tongue pushing into your mouth. Quivering hands grabbed at the back of their head, tightening around Hange's hair, trying to release the buildup of tension in your bones.
Lips broke apart, "Do you know what it does me seeing you wear my clothes?" Voice impassioned, almost hoarse. The hand at your hip moved to the catches at your shirt, reminiscent of the way they grazed your skin that day. Undoing the catches, your abdomen and breasts exposed, goosebumps forming from the sudden coolness of the air. Hange observed as your stomach jerked, smirking as they watched how your body responded. Hand slipping in between the open fabric, meeting the bare skin as you gasped before the shirt slid off your shoulders and onto the cabin floor.
Hange whined at your revealed skin and dishevelled state, the most disordered they had seen you. Their hand cupped your breast, watching as your lips parted and the sweetest cries escaped. Fingers stroking at your hardened nipples, as your pants were slowly being dragged down your legs. Your hips squirmed as Hange went on their knees, head just at the top of your shins. One hand still massaged your nipple whilst the other was around your ankle, holding your leg in place as they lapped their tongue up the skin, retaining steady eye contact. As their tongue reached your inner thigh, your head hung back, and you bit back choked whimpers, hips jolting with anticipation.
"Hange," you rasped, squeezing your thighs around their head, your nails coming to meet the top of the back, "Yes, my dear?" "Please," you pleaded, you had already come this far, you needed to feel it through, you could barely sit up, losing strength in your back. "Patience, sweetheart,"
Fingers left your breasts and made their way to the hem of your underwear. Hange bit their lip at the line of the dampness that had seeped through the thin fabric. "Fuck," they mumbled, tugging the material down where it remained hanging at your ankles, so dishevelled, so messy.
The tips of Hange’s slender fingers reached your dripping heat, arousal covering your thighs as they ghosted sensual touches over your warm slit, puffed and leaking. Thighs tensing as the feeling released itself as strangled whines. Hange was obsessed, exhilarated by the sweet sounds that left your dear lips.
“Fuck, Hange,” Hips rolling into their fingers, pressing closer for more touch, chasing the sensation as it came, "That feels fucking good," "Such rotten language," Hange taunted, the tip of their finger burying into your soaking entrance, stretching the silky walls, “Looks like I’ve been a bad influence,”
Leaving a few more kisses on your thigh, Hange stood back up to reconnect your lips, teeth nibbling at your bottom lip. The kiss successfully distracted you, as more fingers entered, slowly rocking into your flesh, as bliss overtook the initial sting. Hips began to tilt, grinding against the pressure. The sounds leaving you were indecent, vulgar, as Hange augmented the pace, rocking their fingers into you. Suddenly you were glad for the singing out in the deck, obscuring the noise within the cabin. Your head fell into their neck, whining as you could only sit there and take it. Fingers stuffing your swollen centre, pressing against the squishy barriers.
The muscles in your abdomen tensed, clenching around Hange's fingers as your hips buckled. "That's it, dear, you're taking it so, so well," Your eyebrows pinched together, voice escaping you, "Taking me like such a good girl,". Hange spoke, voice purring. That was the nail in the coffin; the honey in their words, the strain in their voice as you felt your release shattering through you. Hips convulsed as your arousal spilled all over Hange's fingers, grabbing their shoulders for support. A few more pumps and Hange removed their fingers, looking down at your clenching hole at the trickling cum, their hand completely drenched.
Hange kissed you, before you broke away and uttered words that led Hange to understand they could never have their fill, "More, please," you begged, voice breathy and whiny as you tightened your legs around their waist. Chuckling, endeared Hange responded, "My, my, dear, you're truly filthy."
Hange moved themselves down to your pussy, still swollen despite its release. With a quick glance back towards you, cheeks flustered and eyes black. Desire tensed your features as your chest heaved up and down, breasts exposed and legs spread, quaking. Such a heavenly sight.
A touch over your slit, Hange spat on your folds, the sight eliciting languid moans from you. It truly was filthy. Pussy clenching with desperation as it grazed you, spreading down your slit with the weight of gravity. Hange pressed their tongue against it, carelessly lapping up the cum that had been leaking out of you. Frenzied guttural groans liberated into your centre as they sucked, the vibrations left you reeling as your hand came to clasp your breast, kneading. Trailing over your own nipple, Hange was not about to accept that, slapping your hand away and rolling their fingers over the bud.
Overstimulation left you choking, tears spilling from your lids as Hange worked their warm tongue over your sensitive folds, drinking in the saltiness as one hand played with your nipple and the other ghosted over your opening. Thighs tightened around their head, cutting off Hange's air supply as you rutted your hips over their face, pushing yourself closer against their tongue. Nose nudging over your clit as their head bounced against you.
“Hange, fuck— I’m, mhm- I’m gonna cum, please let me come,” You babbled, stammering. Needy. You took them in, nose, chin and cheeks wet from your arousal, saliva running down; their eyebrows pulled together with determination and eyes rolling with indulgence, as if you were the tastiest meal they ever had. The taught restraint you had carried your entire life totally dissipated as you surrendered to Hange’s command over your body. Fingers filling into you, knuckles deep, rubbing over the squishy flesh. The added penetration forced out the second catharsis, sucking Hange in as you released over their face, tainting their glasses.
Resting your back on the desk, breaths heavy as you came down from whatever entity had possessed you. Panting. You covered your face with your hands, as your clandestine actions struck you. The drunken, indecent impropriety you fell into and enjoyed.
“No use being bashful now, my lady,” They teased, dragging away the hands that obscured your face. Grabbing your face, reconnecting your lips with gentle touches. Kisses so tender you couldn’t find it within yourself to see anything wrong.
How could something so honeyed be perverse?
um yeah, this is my application to hell…

Tumblr media
There wasn’t a second Mammon wasn't seen without you. He was practically glued to your hip, you didn’t mind it one bit though.
Throughout your stay, Mammon’s attitude towards you had switched over time. You two grew closer than you thought you would. You’ve never been so vulnerable or so trusting with someone until you met him.
Before he would whine and groan about having to be your “babysitter” but he’s come to terms with it himself, he wouldn’t want anyone else but him to be the one to protect you during your stay.
Of course, you spent time with the other brothers too. You enjoyed being with them all together especially but they always complain about how Mammon steals you all for himself and you only ever spend time with him. He can’t help it; he's the embodiment of greed after all.
Mammon just shrugs at the accusations, flashing his million dollar smile every time he drags you away.
Today was like any other. Mammon was waiting for you outside of your now empty class to walk home, though you two weren't the last one there.
A witch Mammon had met a while back before you had arrived has been keeping an eye or you two, specifically you since you arrived. She had been livid ever since you’ve come down here. A whole year has passed and he still can’t seem to get enough of you, she was sick of it.
All his attention was solely on you, she couldn’t stand it one bit. He looks at you the way she looks at him.
He never made any moves other than just spending time with her but he was everything she ever wanted. She tried to win him over but you came into the picture and he can’t seem to look anywhere else but you.
She wants you out of the picture.
“Oi, hurry ya tiny legs up human, the great Mammon has things to do, places to be.” Mammon slides open your empty classroom door, waiting for you to step out into the hallway first.
“I'm going, I'm going, no need to rush. I promise we'll get home and watch the movie in time ok?” You laugh at him, seeing him with his hand on his hip, foot tapping impatiently. So dramatic.
“Ya know you’re lucky I’m here otherwise your little human self would be lost, but you have me to keep ya in check.” Mammon feels the corner of his lips turn upwards as your laughter gets louder at his remark.
Though his smile falls flat instantly when he feels the hairs on the back of his neck stand, making him shoot up from the doorframe standing tall turning to look for the source of where he feels it coming from.
Bloodlust.
He feels pure bloodlust.
He feels someone watching you both but he can’t pinpoint where. This only makes him more nervous. He isn't one to be scared too easily by others but the feeling in his chest told him to get you and leave as soon as possible.
“Mon? Hey are you alright?” you ask, fixing your bag on your shoulder, taking a step closer to him. You lift your hand to poke his cheek but he takes hold of your hand before you even make contact with his skin.
“Ya done? Come on, let's go.” he quickly says, grabbing your hand, dragging you with him before you can even reply.
“Is everything alright? Are you ok? You seem a bit off.” You ask, worried by his sudden change in demeanor, from where you walk a couple feet behind him you can see the uncomfortable clench of his jaw. He seems bothered.
He doesn't reply, he can't. He doesn't want whoever was watching the two of you to sense his worry, he cant put you in danger. If they want to do something they'd have to go to him and him alone.
You don't ask anymore questions, sensing he was uneasy made you feel uneasy. He never is like this around you, let alone unresponsive.
Once you both make it outside the school by the entrance he slows down, looking behind him to see if he can spot the person who was there. The feeling he felt was much less intense but he still felt it nonetheless less.
“Mammo-“
“Don’t worry ya pretty head about it, everything's all good ok? I just wanted to get out of there. Stop ya silly question game. Ya don’t need to worry so much alright? Come on, let’s go home now.” He assures, flashing you a smile hoping you buy it. Giving your hand a small squeeze, he’s been holding onto it since he felt the intense feeling, he can’t seem to let you go just yet, not until he can’t feel it anymore.
He can’t tell you what he feels, the feeling of something bad about to happen any second. He doesn’t want to scare you.
“As long as you’re ok then alright. But if anything is bothering you, you know you can tell me right?” You nod, giving his hand a small squeeze back.
“The great Mammon doesn't have problems, nothing bothers me. Don't worry about me so much, you know you're the here human right? I’m the second strongest demon!” He huffs, turning away feeling his face heat up at your concern. Why’d you have to care for him so much? Be so attentive and kind, to make things worse you look so freaking cute everytime too! The poor demon can’t handle this!
He starts walking again, pulling you along with him, not letting go until you both arrive at the House of Lamentation.
“Y/n do you want to grab some food with Belphie and I? It won’t take long we just-“
“Oi, we have plans for later, find someone else to go with.” Mammon sighs, stepping in front of you and into Beel’s view.
“But they said they will next time we go out, you have them all the time.” Beel looks behind Mammon and at you, look of disappointment on his features.
“Mammon we still have a few hours until the movie airs on TV, we’ll be back before. How about I grab you your favorite ramen before so we can have some snacks for the movie hm?” You ask, only to feel mammon pull you to him a bit more.
“Ya promised.” He turns to you, small pout playing on his pretty lips.
“Yes I did, and I’ll be back. I promised Beel and Belphie too. I won’t be out long ok?” You laugh, lifting your arm giving his cheek a small squeeze hearing him let out a dramatic sigh.
“Ya can’t miss the movie ok?” He asks, bringing his free hand up holding his pinky out. “Promise me you’ll be back.” He asks, you only smile at him and lock your pinky around his.
“Promise.” You whisper, seeing his lips tug down.
“Please be careful out there.” He leans down, head resting on your shoulder. He feels uneasy again, he just got away from that weird source of energy he was feeling a while ago and now you were going out? Without him to keep an eye on you at that.
the horrible feeling of something bad happening creeps up on him.
“Is he throwing a tantrum?” Belphie speaks up from behind beel, annoyed look etched on his features as he glares at Mammon.
“Mammon you steal y/n from us all the time, let them spend time with us now. You’ve taken away our scheduled nap time the other day, let them spend time with us too.” He rolls his eyes, making Mammon click his tongue.
You feel the weight of Mammon’s head lift from your shoulder, the look in his eyes is different from just a few seconds ago.
“Oi listen you two, ya better keep an eye on them alright? Keep them close and bring them back safely.” He turns to them, look of worry in his eyes as he speaks with the most serious tone you’ve heard from him.
“We know, we will.” Beel nods his head, surprised by the second borns change in attitude
“Alright, understood. No need to give us the Lucifer lecture now.” Belphie moves toward you, looping his arm around your free hand pulling you towards the door with him.
“I ain’t messin’ around, I'm serious.” Mammon glares at the youngest, making Belphie roll his eyes again.
“I said ok. They’ll be safe with us. Now let's go.” He pulls you again, Beel makes his way to the door and opens it for you both to exit first.
“I’ll be back, we’ll both watch the movie and I’m yours for the rest of the night ok?” You assure him, you only feel him give your hand one last squeeze before Belphie practically rips you from Mammon's grip.
He can’t hold you back from spending time with the other brothers though he wishes you’d just stay with him, the uneasy feeling made him all the more protective, he can’t help it.
The evening with Beel and Belphie went well. You all ate at Beel’s favorite restaurant and caught up, everything was fine until Belphie shot up from your shoulder while he was taking a nap. His eyes were blown wide and he immediately started checking your surroundings, but nothing was out of the ordinary. The restaurant was somewhat empty, only a random woman sitting a few tables down facing your way and an old couple in the table across from you.
You had asked what it was and when he calmed down, seeing nothing was really wrong and he brushed it off as possibly being a nightmare. Though he knows full well why he got so on edge, his senses were heightened and he felt danger was near though looking around no danger was there.
He was still wary the rest of the time and couldn't find it in himself to sleep again so the remainder of Beel finishing up he kept his eyes open, looking around just in case.
You all ended up leaving shortly after but not before stopping to get some snacks you promised Mammon.
“I'll be out in a second, do you guys want anything?” you ask, reaching onto your bag and turning to look at Beel.
“Chips and chocolate please.” Beel smiles at you and you smile back, nodding your head.
“Alright i'll get you those two things Beel, Belphie how about you?” you turn to Belphie who was falling asleep while leaning on your shoulder, eyes fighting to stay open.
“No thanks, I just want to get some sleep.” He hums, nuzzling close to you.
“We’ll head home right now, Im quickly going to run in and grab a couple snacks for Mammon and Beel.” You give his arm a small squeeze and Beel steps around you , grabbing Belphie and leaning him on his shoulder.
“You don't want us to go in with you?” Beel calls out before you reach the sliding doors, feeling a strange sensation. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand, he felt nervous for no reason.
“Belphie is sleepy, I don't want to make him walk anymore, but thank you, i'll be out right now.” You assure beel, sending him a smile and a nod of your head before turning and walking into the store.
You step into the empty convenience store, waving at the old lady who runs the joint who sees you come in with Mammon most of the time.
You make your way to the snack aisle and stop in front of the chips, picking out Beel’s and looking at the other options for Mammon, that is until you hear some ruckus come from the aisle next to you.
The sound of someone falling caught your attention, making you walk away from the aisle, Beel’s bag of chips still in your hands as you peek out the side to see what happened next to you.
In the middle of the aisle you see a young woman who doesn’t seem like a demon , she was probably a witch. She was on the floor, different things from the shelf surrounding her as she struggled to get back up. She looks somewhat familiar. Like the woman who was eating at the same restaurant you were previously at.
“Are you alright? Do you need a hand ma’am?” You ask, taking a step into the aisle, your legs walking up to her immediately to check if she was ok.
“Ah dear, thank you. I’m so clumsy I can’t seem to catch myself before I trip sometimes.” She smiles up at you and you smile back, reaching your hand out to help her up.
“Don’t worry, I’m the same. I can’t seem to do anything without accidentally hurting myself in some stupid way.” You laugh as she stands on her feet.
Beel checks his phone, he looks around the dark street and clicks his phone off. He feels uneasy, he feels the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. It’s only been two minutes since you’ve walked in. He knows you’ll be out but he can’t spot you in there through the big glass windows from where he’s standing.
“Thank you for helping me up, you didn’t have to. Most demons here will walk away or don’t even bother.” She gives a small pout, leaning down to pick up some of the things she dropped.
“Oh no need to thank me it’s the least I can do, you’re not hurt are you?” You ask, leaning down helping her clean up around her.
“Nono, I’m not but I think my fall might’ve cracked my homemade cookies I just made.” She frowns, looking in her hand bag, taking out a small package of beautifully wrapped cookies that were somewhat broken.
“Oh no! Sorry you broke them, but hey at least you can still eat them!” You try to cheer her up, making her laugh.
“You’re right, I have many bags in here they’re still edible. Would you like one, sorry it’s broken though.” She hands you one, her frown long gone as she was smiling brightly at you, holding the cookies up to your face.
“Uhm it’s ok I-“
“It’s the least I can do! you’ve so kindly helped me up, I just baked them, they're good!” She assures, taking hold of your hand and gently putting the small bag of cookies onto your palm.
“Ah, are you sure?” You ask, feeling bad for taking her cookie’s. But also unsure because if you’ve learned anything from the human world ist to not trust anything anyone gives you, especially if it’s upon first meeting.
“Please, take them, they'll only go to waste, I’ll probably end up giving the rest to my family or eating them for myself now.” She waves you off.
“Foolish human, so trusting and gullible.” The witch thinks as she smiles at you when you nod your head, agreeing to take the cookies.
“Try one, tell me how they taste.” She urges, making you still for a second. You weren’t sure if you should, she was being a little bit too persistent.
“Come on, they won’t bite. They’re chocolate chip cookies. I’m practicing my baking skills. You see, I want to be a baker and open my own shop. I need people to tell me how my treats are or else they won’t sell right.” She asks, somehow making you agree with her because yeah, it makes sense. Right?
“Alright! I’ll be your first customer.” You nod your head and see her smile grow wider.
“You’ll regret ever coming down here, fool, he’ll be mine. He’ll be mine again for sure I know it.” The witch can’t help her smile from widening, she knew humans were trusting but gosh, you were too trusting, you were dumb, this will be your demise.
You reach into the bag and pause, seeing her look so happy made you feel somewhat assured. She just wanted someone to try them, no harm. Right?
The feeling Beel had was getting worse. It was so bad Belphie started to feel it too.
“Beel, where’s y/n? Why is she taking so long? I don’t like this feeling.” Beel feels a tug on his arm and sees Belphie wide awake, eyes blown wide just like earlier.
You reach into the bag, fingertips brushing against the cookie as you grab one of the small pieces that had broken off.
You bring it out of the bag and the aroma of chocolate fills your senses, you're such a sucker for chocolate it’s not even funny.
You bring the piece to your lips and take a bite of the small piece in your hold. The cookie was crispy and soft, the chocolate was sweet and it balanced out just perfectly.
“Mmmn, this is really good.” You smile at her, giving her a thumbs up of approval making her chuckle.
“I’m glad you like them! Please eat the rest too, that'll make me so happy!” She clasps her hands together, happinesses filling her being. Her dark wretched soul was happy, this will surely work. She will have mammon back to herself one again.
You nod your head, wrapping the cookies and placing them into your bag before you hear the store doors open with the small bells over the doors chiming.
“Y/n?!” You hear Belphie call you.
“Y/n where are you at-“
“What happened?? Why were you taking so long?” Beel asks, his long legs walking down the aisle when he spots your head from the one over.
“Ah sorry, I was just helping this woman she had fallen and….” You explain, turning around to the woman who gave you the cookie only to see zero trace of her ever being here.
Belphie scopes the rest of the store, looking down each aisle to find the source of dark energy.
Beel takes another step up to you and leans down a bit.
“What woman?” He asks.
“I think she left when you both came in then, she just fell, I helped her up and you both came in that’s all.” You recall.
He eyes you for a second before turning and looking back at Belphie.
“Did you see anyone when we came inside?” Beel asks, Belphie only nods his head no.
“Who were you talking to? Did you get what you came for?” Belphie steps up to you now, his eyes were wider than his usual sleepy hooded eyes. He was wide awake.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to take so long, I just helped a lady, and yes. I got the snacks. Let me just go pay real quick!” You assure them before walking past the two to pay for what you got.
“Sorry I kept you two waiting, let’s go home.” You turn to them, sending them your signature closed eye smile and they feel somewhat relieved, you didn’t seem hurt or anything. You were still your normal self.
“By the way, are you guys alright? You seemed pretty anxious when you came in to get me back there.” You ask, looking at Beel then Belphie who only shudder at the feeling they felt earlier.
They felt strong dark energy radiating from inside the store, it got really bad for a few seconds until they couldn't stand it anymore, that's when they walked in. But everything seemed fine in there, you were ok. That’s all that mattered to them.
“We just got worried, you took a bit longer than we expected.” Belphie sighs, walking slower to match your pace.
“Now I’m extra sleepy thank you.” He yawns, making you laugh.
“We’re here, you can get rest, sorry about that, I didn’t mean to worry you both.” You apologize again to the twins, they seemed very shaken up back there. You’ve never seen them both so worried, so on edge.
Beel unlocks the door, mentioning for Belphie’s and you to walk in first.
“Ah before I go to bed, here Beel. You must be hungry now, I made you wait too long.” You hand him the bag of chips you grabbed earlier and see Beel’s eyes brighten up.
“Thank you y/n I forgot you got me these I’m hungry no-“
“Oi!” A loud voice cuts through, stomping from the staircase is heard making the three of you turn around.
“You both kept em’ out for too long, the movie is about to start right now!” Beel and Belphie hear Mammon already nag, making them both sigh.
You stare at the two in confusion.
“Movie starts in five human, get ya little legs movin up to my room.” Mammon makes it to the bottom of the steps, glaring at the two youngest.
“Oi human.” Mammon calls again, reaching down to grab your hand to get your attention.
You haven’t even looked at him.
You feel a hand come in contact with yours and you immediately pull away, looking at the strange man who tried to grab you in confusion.
“Oi, what’s wrong? Are ya hurt?” Mammon asks, slight ping in his chest when you pull away.
Belphie and Beel look at you confused, why did you move away from him?
“No, uhm I’m not….” You say, confused at the white haired man’s actions.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?” You ask, brows furrowing together the longer you stare at him.
Mammon's smile drops in seconds, his hands still, he can’t find it in himself to blink because what?
“What? Are ya jokin with me human? If ya are, this ain't funny.” He asks, feeling his stomach sink.
You were giving him a strange look.
The same one you wore when you first arrived down here.
Beel looks at Mammon, then at you, then at Belphie who looks just as confused as Mammon.
“Joking? Ah, nono uhh sorry I don't really remember you. Have we met before?” you ask, trying to think back to where you could have possibly met the strange white haired man with beautiful golden eyes with blue undertones.
Nothing, no recollection of ever meeting him comes up. He's handsome, you're more than sure if you had met him before you'd remember his face.
“Oi what are ya guys doing? Belphie, is this your idea of a funny prank huh?” Mammon grits, walking away from you and up to the youngest, grabbing him by his collar.
“Mammon calm down it isn't one of Belphie’s pranks.'' Beel steps closer to them, not wanting to see them fight.
Belphie stills in Mammon’s hold. Looking up at his older brother with wide eyes because he himself doesn't know what's going on.
“This isn't something I'd tell them to do, Mammon, I swear.'' Belphie whispers, eyes wide because he is not getting why you're acting strange all of a sudden either.
Mammon wants to laugh, you are all playing along so well, especially you. But he wants this to stop. It isn't funny anymore.
“Come on guys, please.” Mammon lets out a breath, letting go of Belphie and looking back at you.
You only look at Beel and Belphie just as confused as them.
“I'm sorry, Beel Belphie, what's going on? I don't get it? Why does he think this is a prank?” You ask, the twins and the strange man look even more worried now, the white haired man's face went blank once again.
“Y/n, what's wrong? Are ya feeling sick? Did somethin’ happen?” Mammon calls you by your name, making you all the more confused now.
“How does he know my name?” You think.
He takes a step closer, pleading look in his eyes as he stops in front of you.
“Y/n what's wrong? Why're you acting strange?” Belphie cuts in, he was getting more uneasy the more you kept this up.
“I'm fine, why do you guys keep asking me that?” You sigh, they were the ones acting strange. How did Beel and Belphie know this strange man? Why was he in the house?
Mammon slowly lifts his hand near you, looking you in the eyes, stooping before his hand makes contact with your forehead. “Can I make sure ya dont have a fever?” He asks, cautions of his movements now. When you moved away earlier it made his heart sink. He doesn't want to see that look on your face again. He feels something horrible.
He knows you wouldn’t pull a stunt like this on him. You would never dream of it. You would always scold the brothers everytime they would do something similar or bring him down, this isn't like you at all.
You nod your head yes, feeling him gently brush your hair away, his warm palm laying on your forehead.
“Y/n, I want you to do somethin’ for me, please?” Mammon feels his voice waver a bit, your temperature was more than normal, you didn't feel too hot or anything that indicates you were sick. But he felt something was more worse than it looked, he shouldn't have let you leave.
“Can you say my name?” Mammon’s voice comes out so soft, the concern etched on his features makes you feel so bad.
The white haired man seems so worried about you, but you can't understand why.
“I-Im sorry, I don’t know you. I don't know your name.” Your voice comes out just as low as his.
A sudden sharp pain in your chest crawls its way up when you see the man in front of you stare at you with glossy eyes, look of defeat when he brings his other hand up to his hair frantically. It felt as if the pain he was feeling was rubbing off on you. “I'm sorry.” You repeat, seeing his head drop.
Everything else seems in place, the house, the brothers. Today all you can recall was walking home from school with the twins, then grabbing something to eat. The only thing out of the ordinary was the white haired man who stood in front of you. His reaction made your heart ache, he seemed to be in so much pain. It makes you want to comfort him, you feel so bad, so bad for not remembering the one who fell in love with you, the one who you’ve been in love with since you’ve first met.

whispering to each other + searching for the other’s hand in bed like theyre both tired but cant fall asleep (matt or chris x y/n or smt)
❝𝐢’𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰❞
Tumblr media
pairing: matt x reader (no defined relationship but mutual pining?)
warnings: brief mention of anxious thoughts, loneliness, depression, vague mention of suicidal wishes
a/n special thanks to @dwntwn-strnlo for editing this you’re the best and shoutout to whoever it was to color code dialogue i took that idea anyways enjoy 🍿
having my 3 best friends away on tour was hard enough but having a rough few weeks physically and mentally on top of that was really hard on me. since i've moved here i haven't really made any friends. parties, events, and crowded loud places aren't my thing which makes it hard to meet people. sure i've met people the odd time the boys dragged me out but i was never able to hold a conversation let alone willingly go up to people. which brings me to now.
the triplets asked if i wanted to come on tour with them but i was in the middle of the semester, the busiest time. so i've spent the past few weeks alone, only leaving when i had to work. it sucks having no one to be able to go do things with, to talk to, and to just be there.
mindlessly clicking through the stories of people i follow, just trying to distract myself from my own thoughts, my screen reveals the faces of the only people i wish i were with right now. my heart aches watching them have the time of their lives being able to explore places they always dreamed of and getting to show their personalities on stage. don't get me wrong i'm beyond happy for them and how successful they’ve become the last few years, but i just wish i were with them. quickly hearting matt’s story of him posing in front of the bean in chicago, i drop my phone beside me and get under my covers, curling up. he seemed so happy being on tour.
i lie there, thoughts wandering, and tears gently flowing as i realize how truly alone i am. my thoughts are disrupted when i feel my bed softly vibrate. lazily rolling over, i grab my phone only to be met with a text from the person i yearned for the most. matt.
heyyy look who’s alive!
where’ve ya been it’s been a while since any of us heard from you?
you doing okay?
unfortunately i've been busy, midterm term time sorry edited
i’m fine
looks like tour’s fun, you look happy
unfortunately? please take time for yourself too you can only do so much if you’re not at your best
you’ll do great on them don’t overwork yourself love
it’s a blast seeing new places, meeting new people, i just wish you were here
shoot i forgot you can see what the other person edited
i was kidding. i’ll try
i wish i was there i miss you but it makes me happy seeing you be successful
we’ll be home before you know it i miss you too
and with that i turn my phone off for the night and bury myself under my covers in a desperate attempt to shut my brain off from thinking things it shouldn't. as the hours passed i tossed more and more not able to fall asleep, stay asleep and get comfortable. peeking at my clock to see the glowing 6:44am, i roll over shoving my face into my pillow and let out an unnecessarily loud groan. seeing no point staying in bed just to not be able to sleep i pad my way to the living room, claiming it my spot for the day. i put on a random season of the office to fill the silence and loneliness that i've sadly become used to. having seen the office far too many times, it's become a comfort background show, making it easy for me to fall asleep.
i accidentally ordered a package to your house from the last time you used my amazon prime to order something. it says it’s been delivered could you just put it aside for me? have a good day
staring at my phone i reread matt's text a few times, my mind still fuzzy and confused thanks to my lack of sleep. finally understanding it after the 5th time, i wrap my blanket around my body and trudge over to the door to pick it up. opening the door and checking the ground for a package i'm met with beat up air forces instead. startled, my head whips just to confirm it's who i thought it was.
matt.
all the loneliness, emptiness, sadness, yearning to see you hit me at once, a wave of tears overcame me as i engulf you in a hug nearly sending you and i to the floor. no words have been spoken, there's no need to. i immediately bury my head into your chest, your one hand coming to cradle my head as the other holds me securely to your body. we stay like this for a few minutes before you slightly pull away grabbing my hands and placing them around your neck, sneaking a quick peck to my cheek as you do so. your hands snake around my waist and gently lift me, bringing both of us into my house. closing the front door we make our way to the living room sitting on the couch turning to face each other.
god i missed you. today was our last day of tour but we were gonna stay there and explore the city for a few days but i couldn’t wait any longer i needed to see you. i was worried about you and couldn't bare the thought of being away for another second.
i missed you more. things haven’t been right since you guys left
like what?
it feels stupid to say out loud but ive felt so alone. like i have no one other than you guys and that makes me feel so pathetic that i rely on you guys so much. i haven't been able to sleep that much my mind just won't shut up i kept thinking about you guys and worrying about something bad happening to you it's stupid i know. heavily sighing i roughly wipe my face drying the tears that i tried so desperately to not let fall.
hey what did we talk about? every thought and feeling is valid they’re not stupid don’t say that.
you stand and offer me your hand and lead me to my room where we crawl into bed. you pull me as close to you as you possibly can. my head on your chest with my arm loosely draped across your body, your cotton shirt carelessly balled up in my hand. your arms wrapped around my torso like your life depended on it. god i missed this
i’m here now okay? everything’s okay, i’m okay, my brothers are okay, nothing happened to us. we’re not going anywhere for a while and when we do your coming with us. and don’t try and say you won’t be able to because of school, you’re coming no matter what. i can’t go that long without you, nothings the same
i won’t put up a fight i don’t want to do this again this was horrible being alone for so long. i missed being in your arms, feeling like nothing bad will ever happen because i have you here
as you place a gentle kiss to the top of my head a comfortable silence falls over us and we bask in this moment of being in each others arms again. my eyes grow heavy but my body is still fighting sleep like it has for the past few weeks
you can sleep now i’m here i’m not going anywhere i promise. i love you so much sweet girl
with the hushed tone of your voice and gentle pecks on my forehead, i feel my body grow heavier with sleep. i blindly reach my hand around searching for yours which you seem to pick up on what i wanted, placing your hand on mine and give it a squeeze once and a while letting me know you're right there.
goodnight sweet girl. i’m right here

Now i cant stop thinking about Ouran Highschool DoL Club lolol it sounds interesting Id say! Whitney is the most popular! Kylar Struggling but happily giving each PC attention
But Id choose my Loved Robin <3
here are some of my thoughts >:D it's been a while since i watched ouran so if the vibes aren't vibing then feel free to correct me lmao. also i took some insp from bitch club don't judge me </3
Tumblr media
Whitney is by far the most popular choice for both genders. there's just something about the way he talks down to others, grabbing them by their hair or nape and tugging them, dragging them to where he wants them to be for their scheduled time that just seems to keep the freaks coming back, y'know? he acts as though he hates the gig, nonchalant and confused over why he's the most popular boy there, but it's pretty simple in retrospect. he rarely, if ever, turns down requests. willing to do whatever the fuck he's asked to do simply because he's the sluttiest of the group. on the plus side, he gets free hole every day, so he's not complaining. a quick and easy fuck, just like his clients, what's not to love? his only rule is that he never bottoms... at least, not for anyone except you. his favourite customer <3
Kylar doesn't think he's that popular because he never puts out for anyone, simply biding his time in the corner all alone, awaiting for the day that you pick him to spend some time with. but there's something alluring to how mysterious and aloof he is, right? gathering quite the following of loyal customers despite his strong dislike of them, avoiding eye contact and offering dry replies any time someone other than you decides to steal his time away from casual stalking. he's just too busy watching you, seething with raw jealousy at the way the others flirt with you so easily and regularly; he can't provide his clients with another more than hums and nods. he isn't even listening to them, petting his cock instead to the sight of your pretty smile.
But it's easy to see why Robin is popular in comparison, particularly with the ladies. indulging his customers so effortlessly, taking time and care and attention with each and every client that visits him, the real BFE! he puts out a decent amount once enough rapport has been built with his fans, making sure to leave a lasting impression to build a sizeable following. but, in spite of his apparent sincere appearances, he's really only taking part in the club as a form of practice. something about gaining enough experience to match your skill, his heart skipping a beat when you decide to slot him in for an evening. he's always so excited to show you what new things he's learned since last time <3!
Pure Sydney, on the other hand, does his best to avoid anything more than simple hand holding at most. his customers tend to be followers of the church, excited to hold the sydney's hand! and though he feels a twinge of guilt every time he holds someone's hand that isn't your own, he can't deny that he feels good upon seeing his clients smile so warmly back at him. rather than physical acts of affection, he much prefers the classic host club experience; sitting in a nice quiet corner together with however many patrons have came to visit him that day just to chat. light conversation, a quick balm to worried minds. it's pleasant, and he enjoys getting to see you on top of that!
Corrupted Sydney is of course taking part in the degenerate behaviour behind the scenes, though he exclusively reserves the rights to fucking his cock into your hole; no one else is allowed to fuck him or get fucked by him. a quick handjob under the table as he drinks tea by one of his most loyal supporters? sure, whatever. some thigh fucking with another customer as they sit on his lap for him to read to them? absolutely. but he waits for you to book his time before getting his cock wet, making sure his whole schedule is clear so that he can spend as much time on and with you as possible

hey i love your writing and was wondering if you could do one where reader is besties with balde and he brings reader with him to training almost every time they train but reader is bored so they draw while barca train and they cant help but draw more and more portraits of pedri, analyse him and stuff (like gradually catching feelings for him - crush) and one day they leave their sketchbook somehwere and balde and pedri find it and then everything is up to you :) thank you for letting me rant
Hi love, thank you! As an artist myself I’m happy for this request💙
——————————————————————————
Tumblr media
You were close friends with Balde so It was expected from him to go and drag you on his practice or anything that included football. You were happy to attend his games but training grounds were something else.
You met a lot of his teammates but watching them train gradually became boring yet you didn’t want to disappoint your friend by not tagging along whenever he calls. You found escape in bringing a sketchbook, at first just sketching Balde in various poses.
You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander on a certain brunette, analysing his form. You respected Pedri as a player and he was also nice in person. But his good looks were a nice bonus as well. You got lost in thought as you pulled the lines on the paper, sketching Pedri’s face. A slight blush crept up your cheeks.
Next time, you let yourself draw his full body. His arms exposed with sweat decorating the skin. You caught yourself analysing his features, the way his nose curved and the stubble on his chin. The way his hair flew in the wind and his eyes turned to honey in the sun.
How he rolls the shorts up and the way he smiles. How he playfully pushes Gavi or teases Ferran. From practice to practice, your sketchbook became full of Pedri in different situations. That’s when you realized that you might have developed a crush for the midfielder.
Just as you placed down the sketchbook on the bench next to you, Balde came running to you, seemingly running away from someone.
“HELP ME” he yelled, pulling you off the bench. You started laughing and played along with the tag game they started on the field. So much that you forgot about the sketchbook on the bench, leaving without it.
On his way back to the locker room, Pedri noticed your little treasure. He immidiately knew it was yours, as he noticed you always holding a pen and 9/10 times looking at him. So the drawings were no surprise when he flipped trough the pages.
Being honest, he did always find you quite cute. The way you scrunched your face in concetration while drawing and how you taught that he didn’t catch your stares.
That’s when he got an idea. Since you already left with Balde, he pulled out his phone and called him.
“We were together 15 minutes ago?”
“Yeah I am not calling for you, are you still with y/n? Can you give her the phone?”
Balde made a face but handed you the phone anyway.
“Hey?” You asked, still completely unaware that your sketchbook was forgotten, let alone in Pedri’s hands.
“Hey hermosa, don’t you think you left something?”
Your eyes widened at the realization. Suddenly, your face was hot and breathing was harder.
“Um, can you leave it where you found it, I’ll come back for it now”
“Uh oh, I’m worried that It’s already in my bag and I’m already in my car so if you want it, you can come over and I’ll give it to you” Pedri said, which was obviously a lie since he was standing in the middle of the field still.
“What?” You nervously asked.
“You heard me, and I don’t see the problem really, it seems that you enjoy looking at me”
You felt your face heat up even more and you tried to compose yourself to speak.
“Fine, I’ll ask Balde to drop me off at your place later today, is that okay?”
“More than okay”

Fili/Kili x sister!reader - unlikely bonds
Tumblr media
Hey, I really want to request a Fili + Kili x sister reader however I know there aren’t female dwarfs, so maybe they come across a young elf who is stranded in the middle of nowhere. They take her in and plan to return her to her kind, however along the way they grow very close. Perhaps they never find her family, and so they try and find someone who will take her on however she doesn’t want to leave them. - Anon💜
A/N: italics will be elvish
If there was one thing you had learned being in the middle of nowhere it was not to trust anybody you came across.
So, when a small group of travellers stumbled across you, you were quick to ready your weapon, and they did the same thing.
“By the time you get near me I’ll shoot you all down where you stand.” You sneered.
The tallest of the group raised his hands.
“We mean you no harm, we are just travelling.”
“I do not care, go around.”
“We cant. The passage on the other side of the mountain is full of danger, it is not safe for anybody to go that way.”
You narrowed your eyes a little bit, shooting an arrow at the foot of a blond dwarf who attempted to move closer to you.
“It is not safe for a young elf to be out here in her own either, do you have company?” The taller one asked.
“It is none of your business.”
He smiled a little.
“Perhaps not, but I worry about leaving you behind. Perhaps we can accompany you to the nearest village?”
You stared at him in shock.
“You understand me?”
“Oh very well, I good friend of my taught me the language. Perhaps you know of Lord Elrond?”
You nodded.
“I do, many of the elves do. He was very well known in our small village. Who are you?”
“Where are my manners? I am Gandalf.”
“I see, I recognise your name, and I know of your quest.”
Gandalf smiled to you.
“So will you allow us to escort you safely to a village?”
You had heard stories of the wizard, and of his recent adventure with the dwarves and the halfling.
Though the idea of travelling with dwarfs didn’t appeal to you, you knew it was safer than trying to travel on your own with no map and little food.
So you nodded.
“Yes.”
“Wonderful, let us get aquatinted.”
You realised how much you didn’t get along with dwarves and why elves and dwarves didn’t get along.
While you were clean and organised and polite, they were messy, chaotic and at the best of times rude.
But it was the two younger dwarves who caught you attention, they were nosy of course, but they did their best to respect you and stayed away from you when eating or when you were taking a few moments to relax.
But of course they couldn’t fully stay away, they just wanted to be friends.
“Come on, surely you can tell us something about your village.” Fili said.
“Exactly, what was it like? Where is it?” Kili asked next.
Glancing at the two smaller men next to you, you went back to eating your dinner.
“I cannot tell you where it is, and there is not much to say about it. It was a small village hidden away so we could live in peace.”
“Is it like Rivendell?” Fili asked.
You shook your head.
“Nowhere near as elegant. While Rivendell hides in the mountains, and Mirkwood in the forests, my village preferred between two raging rivers where people could not cross and plants were plenty.”
“Well how did you get there?” Kili asked.
“Leave the lass alone.” Balin scolded.
He gave you a small smile and rounded the two young dwarves away from you so you could eat.
It was like a routine, they would sneak away to join you but eventually get dragged back by one of the others.
And soon enough you grew used to their company, and enjoyed having them around.
Before you knew it you had been travelling with them for a while, and Fili and Kiki had adopted you as their own.
“What if we take you to a nearby elf village and see if one of them can look after you?” Thorin asked.
“The nearest one is too far from your mountain, you needn’t trouble yourself.”
“Do you not wish to return home?” Dwalin asked.
“Of course I do, but my village is long gone, I do not know where my family is. I do not mind travelling with you all.”
“It is nice having somebody to talk to.” Bilbo smiled.
“If we take a detour we may never make it in time.” Fili said.
“Which is why I will carry on travelling with you.”
The dwarves seemed conflicted.
“I don’t understand what the issue is.” Bilbo whispered.
You knelt down next to him.
“It is because compared to many of my kind I am young, not quite an adult, not quite a child. They do not want to travel with somebody so young, even though I am in fact around the same age as most of them.”
Bilbo nodded a little bit.
“It’s just not safe, we don’t want to put you in danger.” Kili mumbled.
You smiled at him.
“My brother, I will be okay.”
Thorin looked at you.
“When we pass the next town we will find somebody there to take you in for the meantime.”
You sighed.
You couldn’t protest with the dwarf king, it was not your place.
So you simply accepted it and made the most of the time you had with the group.
Stopping at a town, Thorin began going from door to door, asking people if they would be willing to house you.
“You will stay here where you will be safe.” Fili said.
You narrowed your eyes.
“I will follow you.”
“You can’t, Thorin as spoken. You are to stay here (Y/N).” Fili sighed.
You shook your head.
“Yes he may have spoken about me travelling with you, but not about me travelling alone.”
Kili grinned a little.
“She has a point, he never said she wasn’t able to travel by herself. Perhaps she just happens to be going the same way.”
“You know he will disapprove!” Fili hissed.
“He would never see me!” You whispered.
Fili looked at you.
“Do not encourage this!”
You frowned a little.
“I do not want to leave you to do this alone…”
The dwarf sighed, sitting next to you but the fountain.
“I know, we do not want to leave you either, but this was we can assure you are safe.”
You glanced at him.
“I cannot assure you are safe though, so I must come with you. Perhaps I will never find my family again, perhaps I will, but you two have become my family, and I cannot let you leave like I did the others.”
You stood up, looking at them both.
“Whether you go with or without me, I will still follow you there. I will make my way to that mountain myself if I must.”
They both smiled at you, getting up to hug you, and you hugged them back tightly.
“We will talk Thorin around.” Fili whispered.
Because truth be told, they would stay if you couldn’t go with them.
You were their best friend, their sister, and they needed to make sure that you were okay as well

・˳ . ⋆   subtle loneliness
Jay was never the one to believe in fate or destiny or even the fact that there was something like an 'other half. Despite having parents who loved each other and having their soulmate link, Jay never bought it. In a world where every individual was connected to another through some link, be it matching tattoos or the ability to feel someone's pain, he hadn't found his.
For him, it was bullshit. Who even was fate to decide whom he loved? ('Well, no one but, honey, you can't meddle with how it's meant to be', he still remembers his mother's words.)
Maybe as a kid, Jay used to sit long hours in his bedroom, willing to feel his soulmate's link, search for any tattoo and even write on his palm with hopes they'd reply.
Nothing ever happened and as he started growing older, he saw people around him meet their soulmate, he saw the way their eyes lighted up in their mention or the way they used to talk about their other halves.
He grew distant... different. It wasn't easy to be always the odd one out.
Even as Jay tried to go against it and casually date people in his high school, he realized how true his parents were. It never felt right, the feelings were never there and even if they were, they died too soon. In the end, he was left alone.
Which brought us to the present time of Jay's 3rd year in college. He sat on a creaky cafeteria chair observing his friends. Heeseung was busy on his phone messaging his soulmate, Yunjin,. Jake and Lily sat across him, laughing at something Sunghoon just said, their matching flower tattoo glowing dimly.
Looking at them, he felt this sort of loneliness fill in him, the type which made him want to runaway from his life. He had loving and supportive parents and friends who wouldn't leave him but deep down, Jay felt empty. Empty because despite his opposition against the system of soulmates, he knew he yearned for one. He yearned for someone who'd understand him, someone with whom he could share the love he saw in his parents.
'Yo bro, you going to the party today?' Heeseung's voice cut through Jay's thoughts.
'What-? Oh at Yeonjun's place right?'
'Yep', Sunghoon replied getting up. 'Time to get highh- ouch!' He exclaimed as Sunoo smacked his head from behind.
'Shut up, pretty boy. I ain't taking you home', the latter said, walking past the table where they sat.
'Oh c'mon Sun!' Sunghoon whined, following his boyfriend out of the college canteen.
Jay chuckled at their antics. It was almost... cute, he couldn't lie.

・˳ . ⋆   deep conversations with a drunk stranger
You weren't supposed to be at the party. Hell, you should have been studying for a test scheduled next week but being friends with Somi did have its disadvantages. Such as being dragged to some college party as the designated driver.
It wasn't like you hated parties. Quite honestly, you thought they were sort of fun and sometimes getting drunk seemed like the perfect option. But on that particular Friday night, you wanted to be anywhere but at your senior Yeonjun's house.
'Y/N it'll be fun i promise!' Somi begged you, dragging you out from her car to his door. 'No. You are just there to hook up with some guy.'
'Whatever. I am loyal to my soulmate!' She stuck out her tongue whilst pointing towards the black ink on her forearm.
'And who knows', Somi said, entering the house which was presently filled with half-drunk college students. 'Maybeee you could meet your soulmate today.'
You sighed, pushing past people, at the same time waving and smiling to some. 'Sure. My link-less soulmate', you replied sarcastically.
You realized she was leading you to the kitchen which was comparatively quieter but you could still spot a couple out in the distance.
'Hello ladies! What would you like in this fine evening?' The person sitting at the bar counter said, spotting you both.
'Hey Sunghoon, what you got?' You best friend asked the boy leaning against the counter.
'Some beer if you wanna stay with your senses or maybe something stronger. What about my specialty? It has been a hit today.' 'Fine... Lemme judge your bartender skills.
He turned towards you, 'And for you...?' 'Water because I need to drive this bitch back to dorms', You gave the blonde haired girl beside you a pointed look.
She grinned before her eyes squinted, following some guy. 'Ay sunghoon! You know that boy, standing 9 o'clock? Is he taken?'
'That's... Beomgyu. And no, lucky for you, he is pretty single.'
She clapped her hands, almost like scheming her plan. 'See you later, bestie!' Somi gave you a flying kiss, taking her drink from the counter and walking down the hallway.
You sighed, being left alone, your other friend Gaeul was down with a bad flu. You gave Sunghoon a tight lippped smile, accepting a glass of water.
An hour later, you found yourself moving to the backyard of the house. After spending an excruciatingly painful time trying to strike conversation with drunk students and avoiding being pulled into the dancing crowd, you escaped.
The night had cooled down a bit and the spring breeze hit your face, you walked up to the open. But what you didn't see was the figure already sitting in the dark.
'You can sit down if you want to.' You flinched at the sudden voice, turning to face the boy sitting down on the empty backyard.
You considered your options. You could go inside into a crowded party and not have to have a one on one conversation with a stranger. Or maybe you could avoid all the noise and do some small talk with a person who was kind enough to even offer you a seat.
You nodded, seating yourself down beside the boy on the steps. Only then did you notice who he was, 'Park Jay...?'
'Oh, so you know me?' You shrugged in reply. You had heard of him, the handsome and studious guy and spotted him in passing.
It was the first time you had ever seen Jay up close. And to be honest, he was just as gorgeous as you had heard people around you gush, maybe even more.
Almost as if you could look at him the entire day without getting bored.
The boy beside you questioned, 'And you are?' 'Y/N. We are in the same year, in case you're wondering', you added, half knowing what his next question could have been.
'Nice to meet you, Y/N', he extended his hand, giving a wide drunken grin. You shook his hand. It was the first time you had seen him smile because all the other times were from some other end of a college hallway. And you wouldn't lie, it suited his otherwise serious face.
A comfortable silence settled between you two for a while. You both looked ahead. Jay looked up as if counting the stars and you stared at the small garden. You could hear crickets chirp in the distance. And if it weren't for the fact that you had a friend to drive home to, you would have snuggled up in the back yard and slept.
'So, Y/N', Jay's voice suddenly boomed around your environment, as if crushing the calmth which surrounded you both. 'Do you believe in soulmates?'
This caught you off guard. Why would even a stranger be asking you this? 'Uh, that's... random.'
'Just answer me. I'm tired and I wanna talk to someone', he replied, somewhat impatiently.
I mean, what harm could it be? It was a typical topic of conversation and you needed some distraction to keep yourself awake.
Sitting up straighter, you looked towards him whose eyes were distant. 'Well, yep, I do.'
'You must be one of those lucky people who found their soulmates early in life, huh?' He whispered under his breath, not meaning you to listen.
'Actually no', you replied calmy. 'I... don't have a soulmate. Or even a link for that matter.'
It didn't faze you anymore. The fact that you didn't feel any physical or mental signs of a soulmate. Some people did consider it weird. But it was all okay for you.
Jay's head quickly turned towards you. 'So, there are people like me?'
'I'm sorry?' 'Guess I'm just like you, Y/N.'
Your stomach flipped at the new information. You hadn't thought of ever meeting someone who had much the same problem as yours. 'Oh. That's well... new?' 'Why do you still believe in it?' He asked further.
'Why not? Imagine being with someone who understands you so much that it's crazy. Don't you think it's pretty amazing how two people are connected since birth, destined to meet? I feel that's kinda magical. In a cruel world, sometimes it's worth believing in fairytales.'  Jay's eyes were closed but he was listening to every single thing. Almost as if your voice was calming him down, putting a stop to his racing thoughts.
You then added, 'You aren't different, Jay. You just need some time.' Well, this is what you always said to yourself.
'But what about my soulmate? What are they waiting for?' he opened his eyes and you noticed how dark his eyes were but they held a soft subtle innocence in them. Even though Jay had a casual smile on his face, his eyes said otherwise.
You weren't an expert in reading people but you thought you saw a bitter loneliness in his eyes. It reminded you of yourself, which made sense. And for some reason it made you feel sad too, it made you want to take away his sadness.
'They are there somewhere. Don't worry about them. And I hope you find them, just at the right time. Just when you need them. It's hard I know, to go about your day seeing all the people around you together.' You trailed, checking the time. 'Oh fuck! I think I need to jet. Gotta save my friend from making bad decisions', you chuckled, getting up.
'Can you read my mind, Y/N?' Jay wondered. You laughed, 'Oh yes! I'm secretly a psychic. Bye for now, Park Jay.' You waved him goodbye, your thoughts slowly getting occupied with those concerning Somi as you made your way down the hallway.
Jay muttered a small adieu, his face resting on his cheek. He felt lighter and giddier for some reason. Like, excited to meet you again. Something in the way you talked made him listen to your voice again and again.
・˳ . ⋆   almost... complete
Jay didn't believe in fate but after that night he hoped that he could see you again. Even if it was just to talk to you once. All he knew was your name. He was starting to forget your face which he had seen in the dark in a drunken haze.
He may have almost forgotten the sound of your voice a month later if it hadn't been a somewhat familiar voice calling out to him when he was somewhere in the depths of sleep.
'Uh sir, excuse me. We are about to close', you said, lightly tapping the shoulder of the boy who seemed to be asleep, his face down on the table of the cafe where you worked. All around him were pages and books and his laptop was wide open beside him, its screen dark. Typical college student things you could relate to.
Since starting your shift three hours ago, you had seen him in this position. Your only hoped that he hadn't fainted or anything due college pressure. That may have caused you some trouble.
The person before you slowly started to stir after your continuous calls. It was almost 11pm and you couldn't afford to be late to an early class tomorrow.
Seeing him lift his head off the table, you moved away.
'Who wha-' Jay yawned, rubbing his eyes to see his surroundings only to find your widened eyes staring at his sleepy form. His stomach dropped at your sight, moreover at the thought of you finding him sleeping like that. 'Oh fuc-' he hastily patted his hair and wiped his chin for any signs of him drooling.
You tried to hold back your laugh upon seeing him so flustered. You wouldn't lie, he did look adorable, quite a contrast to studious and mysterious vibe he had going on. 'Jay, we meet again.'
'You work here?' 'I mean, I wouldn't be wearing the barista's uniform if I didn't', you replied teasingly.
'Sorry. My bad', he rubbed his forehead. 'How long was I asleep?'
'More than three hours for sure. It's closing time and everyone has left. I suggest you pack up', you pointed at the mess on his table.
He realized what he had done. Slept when he should have been completing his assignment. 'No. It's due today', he whispered to himself, softly banging his head on the table.
'Here', you came from behind the counter and placed a cup of coffee in front of him. 'In case you need to pull an all nighter. This really helps.'
Jay quickly sat up seeing you. He was taken aback, 'I- uh can't accept this.' 'You have to. Now, quick, I need to go back home', you said, closing any room for arguments.
Jay awkwardly stood beside you, finishing his coffee as you locked the cafe. Patting the lock twice as a part of an old habit, you started walking with Jay following in tow.
You wouldn't lie, you were kind of nervous by his presence, you didn't even know why. Plus you were at loss of what to say.
Okay, maybe that wasn't the case... you did have questions for him like why was he so tired, what was his major, who gave him even the permission to look so attractive without even trying- (oh, that wasn't part of the script). Hell, you wanted to know him better and maybe even befriend him. And of course, you hadn't been thinking of him a lot since that one Friday night (ps, it's a lie).
'Sooo', you stopped in your tracks in an attempt to start up a conversation. 'Tough week?' Jay chuckled, catching up to your position, 'You know, you don't have to start a conversation just because we are so awkward.'
Fuck? Your cheeks turned pink in embarrassment, 'Uh-' 'But yep, I haven't had proper sleep in a while. Just have these assignments piling up which sucks.' He let out an exasperated sigh, 'Be a business major, my dad said, it'll be fun.'
'I can assure you that a creative writing major ain't any better', you rolled your eyes, walking up to the bus stop.
'Wait that's so cool!' Jay exclaimed and he meant it. He wasn't at all the creative type and he really marveled at how people could make others feel so much with words.
'Uhh it isn't as cool as it sounds', you scrunched your nose in disgust. Jay couldn't help but feel his stomach do a back flip at your expression. Dude, what is wrong with you? Why are you being a creep? His inner voice scolded him.
'But yea, it's fun when I'm not drowning in- oh the bus is here!' You announced looking at the familiar last bus that ran to your apartment.
You got in, finding a mostly empty vehicle aside from two sleeping college students and a man returning from work. You turned back, raising your hand to wave at Jay only to find him climbing behind you.
'Wait you live south of the campus too?' You asked, confused.
Jay made a surprised face, 'Ah yes! Just a bit farther away from there.' 'Weird I haven't ever seen you in this route.'
He laughed, which you assumed to be, nervously before going a taking the window seat.
You stood their in the aisle wondering whether to just sit beside him or take another one. You knew you should just find another place, considering how empty the bus was but weren't you both having a conversation?
A conversation you didn't want to end...
Jay didn't expect to feel a presence beside him as he looked out of the bus window. Surprised, he turned to look at you staring back at him.
When you saw him looking at you, you quickly ducked your head and cleared your throat, 'Ahem, so as I was saying...' you trailed, questioning whether he wanted to hear your useless banter.
'... About writing? Tell me more about it', Jay eagerly completed for you.
A small smile grew on your face. 'Tell me when you get bored, okay?' You jokingly warned him. I could never get bored of you talking, he thought but nodded nonetheless.
'Well, this would be me', you said, seeing the bus near the stop situated just a block or two away from your apartment. 'Where do you live?' You asked him as you took your bag.
'Uh', the boy stuttered for a second. 'The... next stop yep', Jay gave you a smile, internally slapping himself for the answer.
'Oh', you nodded. 'It was... nice talking to you, again.'
'I'm pretty sure the first time doesn't count', he chuckled. 'Message me once you reach home', he blurted out and then realized what he had just said. He wasn't even as close as a friend to say something like that, what was he thinking?
You felt your cheeks warm at his concern (?). Honestly, you found it very cute. 'Sure Mom', you teased him. 'Bye Park Jay!' You waved, getting down.
His lips quirked upwards, waving back to your slowly disappearing figure before taking out his phone and checking where he was. He had never, for the life of him, even ventured into this side of the town. Mostly he didn't have any need to.
Yes, he had just taken a different route and ended up quite far away from his dorms. All because he didn't want to let a chance go to talk to you.
After he was out of the bus and sitting on a bench, the dim streetlight shining on him, Jay sighed waiting for his cab and rested his head on his cheeks, he wondered out loud, 'what is happening to me?'
He knew it wasn't normal for him to be like this, use up the time talking to you when he should be doing his assignment. But you had an aura around yourself, something about the way you talked, the things you talked about, all seemed to pull Jay towards you. He had noticed the way your eyes sparkled when speaking about something you loved and how you were just as attentive to hear him rant.
He wasn't used to feeling like this, almost... complete.
・˳ . ⋆ against all odds
After that day, you talked to Jay almost everyday. Be it long deep text conversations or a good morning or have a nice day across the hallways, he could always find you somewhere. Sometimes you both ditched your friend groups to have lunch together because it was kind of boring to sit there with couples all around, you both claimed. Somedays you studied together at the library where you found yourself taking small nervous glances at his concentrated face.
But, at least for you, you just enjoyed his presence. Enjoyed how easy it was to strike a conversation with him, talk to him like old friends. Enjoyed how despite being kind of serious, Jay was very funny and he always found a way to make you cringe with him dad jokes.
It was all the small little things about him that just made it harder to not adore him. Like when the time he was willing to take abandoned kitten homes despite being allergic to them. Or when he tried the coffee flavors you were experimenting with, even though, they all tasted awful.
It didn't mean anything else, right...? we are just friends for God's sake! you told yourself. But then why were you feeling giddy at the sight of him walking up to you? Why did you feel your stomach do a sudden turn as he neared you, a soft smile on his face?
'Ready?' Jay asked. You nodded and noticed how casual yet handsome he looked with an oversized t-shirt and shorts. Well, he knew just how to pull any look. ('You know, you could have just chosen a fashion major', you had said to Jay once when he was contemplating his life choices).
'Let's go!' You exclaimed, skipping your way ahead of him. He chuckled behind you, feeling his heart warm at your childish action but then grumbled about how crowded it'd be at the Uni's summer festival. You turned to face him and stuck out your tongue, 'Too late to cop out now!'
You thought it was kind of a crime that Jay hadn't ever been to the festival in the past two years (for his defense, he said that the it was filled with soulmates. 'How can you know if you haven't ever gone there?' You counter questioned him). So, this year you took it up to yourself to drag the boy.
However, surprisingly, it wasn't as hard to convince him as you had expected, just a bribe to treat him to free coffee every week and win him something from the fair.
So, there you both were, walking through the festival, with various stalls set up by the students. You could see Somi in the kissing booth and Gaeul was probably somewhere with her soulmate, Hueningkai, hosting a bake sale.
'How do you like it?' You asked Jay, walking side by side while searching for the game stalls. 'It's... okay. But hey, I was right, this place is filled with soulmates.'
'Omg c'mon now! Let them be. Just because we haven't found ours doesn't mean you have to be so anti-romantic', you playfully slapped his shoulder. 'There it is!' You spotted it, pointing at the ring toss game.
You pulled him through the crowd. Jay noticed the way your hand was tugging at his wrist and he felt a jolt of electricity run through his body at the contact.
'Oh Jake?!' You exclaimed upon seeing Jay's friend at the stall.
'Y/N!' He replied enthusiastically. You hadn't hung out with his friends much but the times you had they had been nothing but warm, especially Jake who was always willing to talk to you.
'What are you doing here?' Jay asked in a flat voice. 'Making money, mate.'
The Australian guy then noticed your hand circled around his and wiggled his eyebrows at his friend. Realizing what he was implying, you quickly dropped his hand, embarrassed.
'One ticket for the game', the tall boy beside you said, breaking the awkward atmosphere that had settled and taking out his wallet.
'Hey! I pay', you scolded him. He turned to look at you with bored eyes, 'Yeah right, no way.'
You sputtered, 'B-but I forced you to come here, I should pa-' 'Which gives me even more reason to pay because you did succeed.'
You grumbled, defeated and knowing how stubborn he could be.
'So, you get four chances with one ticket', Jake said, handing you four rings. 'Make all these four through the pegs and you get a prize. A smaller prize if you get three pegs down.'
You nodded, determined to win.
What followed was your very hard attempt to throw those rings in place. You didn't realize how bad of a hand-eye coordination you had until only one of the rings made it to the peg. 'Fuck! Wait I don't get anything for one?' Jake shook his head, giving a sad smile.
Beside you, Jay chuckled, 'Tried your luck? Let's go.'
'Nope! One more ticket', you took out the money from your bag, beating Jay to it. 'Okay phew!' You prepared yourself, tying your hair.
Jake cheered, 'Y/N you can do it!'
You couldn't. 'Nooo! What the hell!' You cried in defeat, looking at the four hoops that had landed at different places, one even hitting Jake on his head.
'Oh God. You are terrible at this. Here, lemme show you', Jay said obviously done with how poorly you had performed. 'Last round.'
He came behind you, one hand touching your shoulder and the other one holding your hand. You stiffened at it, feeling his breath near your ear.
This was normal, right? Normal for a friend to touch your hands oh so gently and guide it so that you could win the prize?
But I have already won my prize you thought, turning your head to look at him carefully instructing you, his eyes on the game. You didn't know how to stop the blush from settling, seeing Jay so close, his dark eyes sparkling in the setting sun. It felt almost... magical.
Magical but deep down you knew, wrong because he wasn't your soulmate and you weren't his.
In the daze you were in, you didn't realize when and how he had put four rings through the hoop. 'There!' He exclaimed, removing his hand from your. 'That's how you do it', Jay said, flicking your forehead.
'Ouch!' You tried your best to break away from your thoughts, shaking your head and making a face of fake annoyance. 'But ugh-!' You pouted. 'I wanted to win it for you!' You whined
He chuckled, taking a plushie, 'You can still claim it like you won it for me, hm?'
'Fine.' You snatched it from him, turned around for a second before offering it to him, 'My dear friend Park Jay, here is my bribe for bringing you here. Please accept this little offering for I have won it with all my blood, sweat and tears!' You proclaimed proudly.
Yea, quite some eyes turned to your direction but you didn't really mind it. Jay cracked up, before pulling you away from the game stall, 'C'mon noe. Gosh, dramatic much?'
You grinned, 'Only for you.' Playfully bumping your shoulder with his.
He brushed it off but his mind was somehow stuck at your earlier three words. only for... him? It shouldn't account to much, but it did.
After going around the festival for another half an hour, greeting some of your friends, (forcibly) eating the burnt cookies Gaeul had made and stuffing your mouths with some much better food, you both made your way to the open area where the live band took place. It was the star attraction and your college was pretty famous for it.
The best thing was that anyone could come up on stage and sing their hearts out and the audience would follow them. Even before starting college, you used to come there alone to enjoy the vibe.
And now you had Jay with you.
Night had fallen by the time the first band stepped up, hyping up the crowd. Luckily, it was a clear evening, the stars shining bright as the songs started flowing in.
The first few were soft melodies, you swayed your body to the beat and watched Jay standing beside you, his eyes on the stage. You wanted to decipher what they said. Were they mesmerized? Did he feel bored? Was he thinking of something?
Jay wasn't a very expressive person. The only time you had seen him in a fully vulnerable state, filled with feelings, was the night you met him. But you didn't want him to be like that, you didn't want him to hold back his emotions.
So, you took his hand. Jay, surprised, turned to face you. You shrugged and smiled, raising his hand with yours, moving it with the song.
While you closed your eyes, he was still looking at you, his lips parted apart which slowly turned into a small smile. He studied your features one by one, eyes filled with adoration.
And that is when Jay realized. He didn't need any soulmate or his other half if he could spend all his time with you. Like, at that moment how you both were dancing to some fast track; panting, screaming and shouting like everyone else. He didn't need anything else if he could see you smiling, staring into his eyes with orbs filled with joy.
There may not be fate connecting you and Jay but it was fate that had brought you to him and at that moment he felt he wouldn't give up on you, even if he found his soulmate.
'And for the next song, I'll request you to partner up with your soulmate and if you haven't found yours, grab the person who's closest to you', the lead singer said.
Before you could look for a friend or anyone, Jay turned you towards him. 'The person nearest to me, you', he whispered, pulling you a bit closer. You nodded, feeling butterflies going wild in your stomach, unable to look anywhere but his face.
A guitar started to strum in the background and the low, sad voice of the singer followed it. It was a familiar song.
Jay bathed in the lyrics of the song, singing along to Jaurim's 'Til Death Do Us Apart'. You placed a hand on his shoulder and intertwined the other with his fingers. He looked into your eyes, '죽음이 우리를 갈라놓을 때까지 (i'll not let go of your hand that i take).'
'오, 그대여 내 손을 잡아요 (my dear, hold my hand)
이제는 혼자가 아니야 (you're no longer alone)'
You didn't know what passed between you both at that moment but you realized that somewhere along the past few weeks, you had crossed the line of being mere friends with Jay, or rather your feelings had.
Or else you wouldn't be resting your head on his shoulder, feeling his voice flow into your ears like some age old melody you had been searching for...
'Til the death do us apart
'Til the end of the world...'
Later that night, Jay lay awake on his bed, thinking back to the feelings that had dawned on him. He felt a smile make the way to his face as he thought of you. The way you lighted up the world or rather his. He hadn't ever felt so connected to a person. He knew that the feelings he had been harbouring were more than just passing emotions.
Could it be possible...? Possible that you were what he was searching for the entire time. Neither of you had a link, so it could make sense. Jay sat up, the sheets rustling under him.
'Bro, sleep and wipe the lovesick smirk off your face', Heeseung yawned from beside him. 'No I'm not-' he tried protesting.
The other boy turned to face him with a deadpanned look, 'You look different. As in, happier.'
'What...' Jay was confused, he didn't feel that way.. okay maybe that was a big fat lie, he did feel... well, something!
'You know well enough what I mean, Park. Don't act like we are blind to you and Y/N. See, Jay, you have always been kind of a... how do I explain it? Somewhat of a pessimistic sad person, using sarcasm to mask yourself, which I totally understand. But these days, dude, you are more open and free and I think it's because of her...'
Jay didn't know how to react. Heeseung was right. He did feel like meeting you sort of took away the sense of loneliness set deep within him. Not only because you were like him but also because you were you. Always attempting to have fun, to pull Jay out with you, like that one time you both dance in the rain with your friends even though normally he would never. You had a subtle wild and playful side to your deep persona.
'Do you... do you think we could actually be together if I tried?' He asked his friend, his eyes on the dark ceiling.
'Now I don't know the chances of her being your soulmate but even if she isn't, do you want to take the chance to be with her? It's up to you, Jay.'
He was right. There was no gurantee that you both were meant to be but he was willing. He was willing to take the chance.
Against all odds..
・˳ . ⋆ maybe this moment would last forever
In the days that followed the night of the festival, Jay seemed changed, but in a good way or so you hoped. You noticed, in small ways, how he smiled more often, seemed happier when around you and randomly gave you compliments. Jay was a naturally helpful person but somedays you could find him waiting outside your class or walking you home which was quite afar from his, despite your protests. ('See as a good friend, it is my duty to accompany you back home late at night', he said once. You had scoffed, 'Speak for yourself, Park. You are literally scared of everything.')
This was unlike him but what was unlike you was that you liked it. You liked how he made you feel- giddy, excited and blushing. You had had fleeting crushes before but with Jay it was something more because with each little interaction, you found yourself falling more and more.
Love was a strong word and for someone who had never got a sign from their soulmate, you were even more wary of it. In fact, you couldn't even say how it felt. Did it feel the way your parents used to cook dinner together in the kitchen, looking into each other's eyes, having some secret moment pass between them?
'Hey, Y/N', Jay called out to you in a low whisper as you both sat at a secluded corner of the library. You looked up from the short story you were working on for the past hour. It was due in a few days and you were stuck at just the most crucial part if the story.
'What now?' You questioned, rubbing your forehead in slight frustration for running out of ideas. 'Wanna ditch this for a while?'
'Look, Park, you may be having a nice time with assignments right now but I'm struggling to write the ending', you glared at him despite wanting nothing more than to close your laptop shut.
He clicked his tongue, 'Which gives us even more reason to have a little fun, hm?' 'Since when do you give up on our studying session?! You asked, confused at what he was saying. 'It's my job to take you on random adventures!'
How can I even study when you're the only thing in my mind? He thought but replied, 'Guess I should take over your position. Now, give yourself a break, Y/N.'
You sighed but gave in. A break wouldn't hurt... right? Plus, it was Jay so you knew you would have said agreed after some persuasion.
'Where are we going? Are you kidnapping me?' You demanded, packing your things. He winked, 'You'll see.' Your heart did a flip at his action and you couldn't help but wonder what had been taking over your friend (? Or crush? Or the literal love of your life?) for the past days.
'Okay, is this a trap to drive me to my death?' You huffed, sitting in Jay's car, remembering that one time he had offered to drive you home and you had to take over the wheel considering how bad he was driving.
'Don't worry, I don't drive that bad. Trust me.' 'The only thing I cannot do', You lied.
'Are we going...' You trailed, turning your face away from the rapidly changing scenery and looking towards the boy heavily concentrated on the road. He gave a quick smile, 'To the beach? Yep.'
'You know, I could have driven us to there too', you protested seeing how tensed he looked. 'But I wanted to kind of... surprise you', he muttered.
You stopped, staring at his face. God, you couldn't even help it but to giggle at his words. 'Caught you there, didn't I?' He smirked.
You whispered, not meaning him to hear you, 'You did...
You felt his hand on yours. 'Focus on driving, dummy.' But he didn't remove it. A blush caught in your cheeks as you rested your head on the seat, looking ahead. It was almost 6 in the evening but the sun was still up there, thanks to summer.
The beach was quite far from the campus but a mundane happiness filled you, driving down the empty roads, singing along to the music playing. You could hear Jay's soft voice sing under his breath as he slowly gained confidence in his driving. 'You should sing more often, Jay.' it sounds like honey.
'Finally!' You exclaimed, jumping out of the car and seeing the beach spread before you. You squinted your eyes in confusion, 'But why is this so empty?'
Jay came up behind you, taking your hand, 'I drove us to a quieter part. I accidentally discovered it during my first year when me and Sunghoon bunked our classes. Let's go!'
'You know we could get sick, Y/N!' Jay screamed at you as you splashed water all over his shirt.
You teased him, 'Too late! You suggested that we- yah!' You shouted as he suddenly attacked you. He laughed at your shocked face.
'Park, you'll pay!' You warned, searching the sand for anything you could find.
'What are you doing?', he asked, curious before widening his eyes at the sight of you picking up a stray rock and readying yourself to chase him. 'Are you crazy?' He ran in the opposite direction.
Jay turned around to find you catching up to him, laughing, the rock held high up your hand. The wind blew your hair in different directions and the sun casting beautiful patterns on your face. Jay thought he hadn't seen a sight so free before.
He fumbled for his phone, taking it out and snapping a picture before you could protest. 'Delete that!' You demanded, upon reaching him and softly hitting him with the stone.
Jay shook his head, pulling you with him closer to the shore, the waves washing up to your feet and the feeling of the sand slipping under you. 'God, I missed this so much!' You muttered to yourself. 'And I missed feeling so complete', he said.
Your face lighted up at his words. He was a lonely boy and you were a lonely girl but maybe that is what completed your friendship. You both were so alike that you loved small differences you shared.
'What are we? Kids?' Jay asked, sitting beside you in front of his car, waiting for the fireworks.
'Maybe. But I liked this. I like feeling like we are some dumb 10 year olds instead of adults', you said looking ahead at the horizon and reflecting back on the past hour where you both ran around the shore, writing your names on the sand, drenching each other in water and bathing in the happiness that those moments brought.
It felt special, like you didn't want to let it go. 'God, why do I feel like this moment would last forever?' You wondered out loud, a sinking feeling in your stomach knowing how it will end in a matter of few minutes. 'Maybe it will.' Jay scooted closer to you, resting his head on your shoulder.
You looked down at his soft hair and grinning face and put your hand around his shoulder and nervously put your head on his.
For once, you seem to forgot that he wasn't your soulmate, you just wanted to convince yourself that maybe... just maybe Jay could be the one.
You now think how foolish you were to be blinded by those delusions.
'You once said I'll meet my soulmate just at the right time. I guess that didn't happen but I met you, just at the right time. I don't think I want to give up on being twenty or in love with you. I want this summer to last forever, I want us to last forever', his voice came like a soft whisper, the words blending into each other inside your brain as you tried to process what he had just said. You stared back at him, your heart leaping at what he had just said.
The four lettered word you had been scared of. But at that very moment, you thought love found a meaning for you. At that very moment when you saw Jay's face nearing yours, his eyes sparkling with some hidden thought.
However, you knew what they said. Love. 'I love you-' He couldn't complete it because the next moment, you cupped his face, pulling him closer into a kiss.
And that's when you found the meaning of love. It was simple, soft like landing on a bed of feathers, but it was also like a spark, like the fireworks you could hear in the distance as his lips moved in sync with yours in the dying light of the summer, saying the words you don't think you'll ever have the courage to utter. Love was a grand thing but sometimes it just meant spending a summer evening at the beach, letting the feeling of youth wash over you. Sometimes it meant playing a game you couldn't win.
And it was also the moment when you understood what heartbreak felt like because after you broke the kiss, resting your forehead on his, your breaths the only sound you could hear, something caught your eyes. It was Jay's finger that was tracing your cheeks.
It was a red string, so thin, barely visible. The red string of fate, that connected two souls together and that's when you saw, it wasn't connected to your finger...
He wasn't yours to keep.
・˳ . ⋆ letting you go
'Y/N, wait, can... we just... talk?' A voice called out to you from across the almost empty hallway.
His voice.
You stopped in your tracks, a familiar feeling of sadness taking over you. Over the past week, you had tried everything to avoid Jay, to keep him at bay.
The car ride back from the beach was silent, he had been way too shaken to say anything and kept glancing at the red thread emerging from his finger. His soulmate link, something he had searched for ever but it only came when he wanted it to disappear.
Through the long journey, you had made up your mind. That you weren't his soulmate, no matter how either of you felt. And you wouldn't be the one to hold him back.
'What is there to talk?' You asked bitterly, feeling his hand turning you to face him.
'Why have you been avoiding me? Di-did that kiss mean nothing?' Jay's voice broke.
'It meant everything to me-' '- then why?! Are you scared of this?' He pointed at his finger. 'You know I have tried everything to make it go. I have searched online to see what to do with it but I just can't find anything! That's how much I want to be with you, Y/N', he said, desperation seeping into his voice.
'But Jay, we aren't meant to be. I don't want to take you from someone who really deserves you. Don't you see, it will-' You took a deep breath, controlling the tears welling in your eyes. 'It will hurt us both.'
He took your hand, pulling your chin to face his eyes, 'We'll make it work, love. I cannot let a stupid thread decide who I love. Please.'
His please quite literally broke you from the inside and you couldn't help but let one drop of tear roll past your cheek. No one said how hard it could be to fall for the wrong boy. The boy whose line of fate didn't collide with yours.
No one said that letting him go, for both of your happiness would be one the hardest things ever. And maybe because you loved him, you uttered the next few words, 'No. I will not live my life as a regret, thinking I stole you from someone. I have to let go, Jay. You should too.' You pried your hands out of his as Jay's face contorted in sadness, his eyes flickering, unable to hold back his tears.
You couldn't see him cry but mostly you knew you should just withdraw yourself to not cause him anymore pain. You turned around wiping your face and walking away. Away from the one you loved, away from a future you could have had.
・˳ . ⋆ twenty forever
You knew what you were getting yourself into when you agreed to accompany Gaeul to the college reunion party. It had almost been over six years since you had seen your classmates.
Since you had seen... him.
It wasn't like you didn't wanna go, heck, you had missed those friends from the days of college too but you knew he would be there and with him would come back all the memories and love you had tried so hard to suppress. They would overflow, creating a new wound or maybe opening the old one.
And he stands before you, a glass in his hands, giving you a small, almost sad smile. He looks different and yet so same to the Jay you had fallen for.
You remember laughing at his jokes, bickering with him over the stupidest nerdiest topics ever, holding his hand as you both ran in the dark. It all flashes like some film montage. But mostly you remember the night when you met him.
A night which was similar to todays. The night you found him drunk in the backyard. You wonder what would have happened if you hadn't gone to the party, if you hadn't made your way to him.
You'd be a way different person than you were today.
If you try hard enough, you feel like you'll get transported to your memories, where you are still twenty.
His voice comes out soft and tender, 'Thank you, Y/N. Thank you for teaching me how to love and-' He stops, hesitating or rather contemplating whether to say what comes next, 'Thank you for-' '- for being my first love, Jay.'

beel & belphie’s bday (yr 3)
Tumblr media
includes: beel, belphie x gn!reader (no pronouns mentioned)
wc: .6k | rated g | m.list
a/n: i cant believe it’s their birthday already! how the time flies
please reblog <3
Tumblr media
“it’s your birthday,” you begin, “so why am i the one getting a surprise? it thought that was meant for you both.”
beel chuckles, his hand warm and rough in yours as he tugs you forward gently. “think of it as your gift to us.”
“yeah,” belphie agrees from your other side, giving you a crooked grin. “all we wanted this year was some time alone with you.”
“you could have just asked,” you point out, “or even told me that so i could have planned something! you planning your own gift and me only showing up doesn’t quite seem right.”
“it’s what we wanted, so relax. and we’re almost there,” belphie says. “just over this hill.”
the boys had dragged you from the house of lamentation early in the morning, before you’d even had a chance to have breakfast. you were surprised by the knock on your door, but even more surprised that belphegor was up and that beelzebub hadn’t had breakfast yet either.
when you finally reach the top of the hill you gasp, taking in the beauty below you. down a bit, the devildom sprawls, still fairly quiet due to the time, and just a few feet away, you see a blanket set up with a few baskets next to it.
“did you guys seriously plan a breakfast picnic?” you ask, moving forward slowly.
“well, it couldn't be later because that’s when the party is,” beel says.
“i guess that’s true.” you reach the blanket and sit, the boys following suit. “this is so thoughtful,” you say, smoothing your hand over the plush fabric you’re resting on. “thank you.”
“we should be thanking you,” beelzebub says, as he begins to dig through one of the baskets. “we got you up at such an early hour with no explanation.”
“yeah, i’m pretty sure i wasn't fully awake when i agreed to come with you,” you laugh. “but i don’t regret it.”
belphie pulls plates and bottles of juice from another basket, distributing them. you see he’s given you your favorite kind and feel a pang od warmth in your chest. followed by a pang of guilt.
“i still feel bad,” you begin, “i mean, it’s your birthday and all and i’m the one getting spoiled.”
“mc,” beel says seriously, “we did this because we wanted to. nobody forced us, and we’re the ones getting spoiled by having you all to ourselves. if you really want to honor our birthday, honor our wish of enjoying this fully without feeling guilty.”
he always knows just want to say. “alright,” you set your chin, “if that’s what you want. i’ll enjoy this to the max!”
the food gets passed out and you spend your time talking and eating and enjoying watching the city wake up. eventually, belphie yawns, and wordlessly, you offer up your lap for him.
“you’re the best,” he mutters, wasting no time getting comfortable. you run your hand through his hair, sharing a smile with beel over his head. he doesn’t fall asleep though, surprising you, but makes no effort to move, something you don’t mind.
“happy birthday, you guys,” you say quietly, and beel’s hand finds yours again, squeezing it. “i love you both very much.”
“we love you too,” belphie says, twisting slightly so he can look up at you. “thank you for staying down here with us.”
“how could i not?” you ask. “leave the most important and special people in my life behind just to go back? no way.”
“i’m glad you feel that way,” beel murmurs. “and i hope we can have many more birthdays together in the future.”

Can you perhaps do a dark ao’nung who is obsessive and manipulative to an innocent reader who believes everything he says.
You can come up with the rest your writing is amazing 😆
My Unhealthy Obsession
GN! Metkayina Reader X Ao'nung
Warnings: Unhealthy obsession. Manipulation tho i kinda lowkey suck at it. Perhaps implications of murder. Innocent reader + plot twist.
uwu thank you anon for enjoying my writing.
youtube
You were all each other had. Realistically you had your families. Sure that was true and more than anything you loved them to death. You liked spending time with Tsireya and Ronal.
Being with Ao'nung was a different story however. Something about his words the way he spoke the way he would touch you left more to the mind to wonder.
Since children something about the way he would speak with you it made little tingles in your stomach. And it made you crave his attention much more.
And Ao'nung knew this. He took advantage of the way you seem to believe his every word. Innocent on the mind and soul. And he was cruel. But ever much more gentle at what ever you would tell him.
Making you believe hi obvious lies. "Oh no Tsireya is out with mother she cant hang" "Tao'lu? oh no he asked you on a bet. his friends made" "Oh wouldn't you like to hang with me instead?"
And you believed every one of his words. Realistically he still had all his friends to hang with. And you were alone. But what good was it hanging out with his friends if he could have you all to himself?
"Ao'nung you really should head on With your father. What good is any training if your wasting it with me?" You spoke in alluring voice. You were always so kind to him.
"Naw i think it will be okay to spend time with you"
"by the way of your attitude im sure they wouldn't think its okay"
You sighed. Your mind again pondering to a distant past. Where you had both guys and girls alike asking you if they could stake claim. But...things had changed. People didnt like looking at you in the eye.
"Ao'nung..Do you know why. Tao'lu or Irir stopped pursuing me? Or why all my friends stopped talking with me?"
"no?" he spoke
"It seems no one speaks to me anymore and it frightens me a little. Have i done wrong? am i undesirable?"
"what nonsense dear. Clear your head of those thoughts"
You were about to speak. Tell him something else before hearing loud commotion outside. and unbeknownst to you two. Things in this dynamic were about to change drastically.
----------------------------------------------------
The arrival of the Sully's was not something Ao'nung could have foreseen. He had manage to scare anyone away from ever really speaking to you.
But you had been dragged into teaching along side him. And he couldn't threaten the sully's as he had everyone.
He did trust his sister and Rotxo. But even then he would rarely allow you three to have alone time. More so on the knowledge that Tsireya knew what he had done.
But he needed to promise you to himself.
And it was hard when Neteyam would throw you knowing looks. And you could only return it in kind. He couldn't really threaten them. But he could you.
And it wasn't long before he did. Finding you alone in your pod. Lucky for him he knew your family wouldn't be around just yet.
"I dont want you around those Sully guy's"
"it will be hard given i was told to help them too"
"I mean it Y/n"
you turned to look at him. His expression cold, dark and ever more so handsome in your eyes. "Why?"
"Especially Neteyam"
"Ao'nung. Can you at least explain why"
"I dont like the way he looks at you"
You thought. Sure he was friendly but he knew you two were strangers. Only ever talking as acquaintances.
"Like he has you. Like he wants you. To be your Mate or more it makes me sick."
"But Ao'nung what difference does that make. You haven't staked claim of me and i you"
He let out a hiss. Fangs bearing as he held your wrists together. "I haven't yet"
You let your heart sore. How long had you wanted that? was it sick? he was your only friend remaining so what other options did you have?.
"Keep away from him. You never know. He's also the outsider. His family have demon blood. What more does he need for you to understand"
you just stared at him in silence. Subconsciously you began to shake in his hold.
His eyes softened. Sighing as he gently kissed your knuckles.
"He's no good for you. Not like i can be. So please. Please promise to keep away from them"
You let out a small smile. before nodding. Letting him go.
And This promise didn't go unnoticed. You stopped showing up. You stopped interacting. You stopped ever seeing Neteyam or the rest of the siblings.
Tsireya of course had noticed it more. She had seen this happen countless of times. And for once she had enough. Had voiced her voice enough for it to fall on deaf ears.
She went to go see you. Had always found the best of times to see you and this time she had to speak to you.
"Y/n?"
You turned to look at her. Smiling bright. "oh Tsireya, A little early than before?"
"I have to speak to you"
You two sat. You handing her a bowl of fruit.
"Its about Ao'nung"
"Oh! I hope he told you the news"
"The news?"
You smiled brightly. A feeling boiling in your stomach as you spilled the news. But watched carefully as Tsireya's face dropped in horror.
"no, No Y/n That cannot happen!"
You frowned. "What? why?"
"Ao'nung. He's not right. Not right at all! He's he's pushed away every one of your friends. Suitors and any alike. I dont know what he says or what he does. But, But he threatens. He"
you only listened. perhaps that explained it.
"He's almost drowned some kids back when were were little. You dont understand. What ever it is. Who ever it is. And im frightened that your happiness is, Is for the wrong one"
You nodded. Watching her and nodded silently. " I thank you Tsireya. I really do. But i know how to handle this. Trust me with this. Please"
Tsireya could only frown. Watching as your sweet aura didn't falter. Didn't waver and all she could do is pray to Eywa. Pray that everything would work out. That nothing bad would happen.
unbeknownst to anyone but you. This was exactly what you had hoped for. You are Ao'nung's and now he is Yours.
-----------------------------
im sorry if this is bad in any way shape or form. But i really tried. I was gonna make it super dark but then thats borderline like yandere. And well. Lets save that for another day.

In another time — Shinichiro Sano
Content: Imagine
Warnings: mentioned accidents, rather derogatory language (from Shinichiro’s point of view) towards a homeless man
Tropes: non-canon content, non-canon Shinichiro
Summary: an alternate universe in which Shinichiro didnt choose his fate, but rather it was forced upon him
Vixen’s two cents: I love Shinichiro. I cant handle him not being there, this is my coping mechanism. Sorry if this is a little odd to read this isnt my normal writing style, i wanted to try something new. If you like this and want to see more, please let me know! Also remember that my requests are always open so if you have an idea, please tell me about it, id love to write it! Enjoy
„Stop Messing with your IV.“ Shinichiro grunts form his chair at the man occupying the hospital bed in front of him. The man on the bed does not respond, only continues to finger the IV insert in the crook of his elbow. Shinichiro sighs, shifting front in the uncomfortable chair and rests his arms on his knees.
The silence in the room was loud. It hung in the air like the stench of the dead. The light was the typical sterile hospital-blue, and the floors were the signature awkward speckled white and blue that every other hospital had.
The window to Shinichiro‘s right would have shown your average hospital park, with your average hospital park paths which weaved around your average hospital park trees and average hospital park ponds.
But none of that could be seen. It was dark; it was late; and most importantly, it was cold. Way too cold to be sitting in front of a homeless man who wouldn’t leave alone his IV. Out of the reflection of the dark window Shinichiro could see the man; the old, wrinkly, rancid lump of a life that he had most literally ran into earlier that day.
„The IV itches.“, it spoke. Shinichiro turned his head to look at him, an almost offended scowl on his face: „So what? You leave that damn thing or or else. I didn‘t drag you in here half alive just for you to die.“ The thing on the bed met Shinichiro‘s eyes and stared. Cold, hard, lifeless beads of black pierced his own eyes, and the air felt electric all of a sudden.
The clock that hung on the wall was the only source of noise, its everlasting ticking marking the endless spiral of time. Shinichiro counted the seconds he heard: three, four but he was sure to already have missed some: eight, nine, ten nevertheless he kept counting: fourteen, fifteen just to see for how long he could endure the daggers thrown his way: twenty-one, twenty-two. Some time around one-seventeen, one-eighteen his eyes started watering, and he gave in, blinking away the tears that had formed.
He heaved another sigh, once again shifting in the chair, this time slouching back and throwing his head over the edge of the backrest. “How are you even alive anymore?“ He grunted at the man, the angle at which he sat making the sound almost guttural. „In general I mean.“ Shinichiro knew the man was homeless; the clothes, the skin , the smell, it all accumulated to the one conclusion. Based on what he saw and sensed however, he could not fathom how the husk of a man sitting on the bed had managed to sustain himself in the first place.
“I’m cursed.” It grumbled back at him. And Shinichiro almost rolled his eyes, “Right.” A lunatic then. he thought, running another hand across his face, contemplating that it would have been better to run the loony over completely. “Cursed.” His voice was flat and unimpressed as it replied to the shrivel in the Hospital bed.
Another silence insued, but this time it was Shinichiro who was staring the man down with a you’ve gotta be kidding me expression. The man was avoiding his eyes, instead choosing to flit his gaze from one ceiling tile to the next. Shin counts the ticks again, and this time he could feel his blood pressure rising. He gets to around fourty-four, fourty-five before the homeless man spoke again.
“I can travel back in time.” Shinichiro didnt know what he was expecting, but this wasnt it.
“What.” It felt like the blood is his body froze, whether it was with rage or with confusion he didn’t know.
“I was naive when i accepted the curse, and now look! Im here. Ive tried to go back and fix it all so often, but it just wont work. I cant do this anymore. I dont want to. I’ve failed and now it’s all over.” The man keeps talking, his already rough voice now thinning into a whispered shout, his voice straining under the sudden stress as he fell into a hysterical spiral, rocking his body back and forth on the bed, his arms coming up to hug himself.
The monitors beside the bed beeped, and nurses came rushing in, flooding the room with a flurry of noise and movement, but Shinichiro remained sitting on the chair, staring down the stranger. Only when one of the male nurses asked him to please leave the room does he get up and remove himself from the room. Shinichiro cast one last look over his shoulder when he stood in the hallway to see the man being lifted onto a separate bed, and be wheeled out behind him into another direction, the nurse squad accompanying him running in perfect coordination.
Shinichiro stood there for a while, and he thinks he might have been offered a seat by a lingering nurse, but he wasnt quite sure. There were no ticks to count, so he didn’t know how long he was standing there. Too long probably. Numbly, Shin made his way down the average hospital stairwell and through the average hospital reception before exiting the average hospital doors, the click that shut the door finally easing his mind.
His breath billowed up in front of him, the clouds of condensation rising slowly, wafting through the cold, crisp air before dissipating completely. His ears picked up on the noise surrounding him- the distant beeping of cars, the solemn crow of a bird in the distance, and most notably, the rain. It was raining now. How strange, he could have sworn it was a clear sky when he looked out the window earlier.
Shinichiro blinks a few times, the piercing cold making his eyes uncomfortably dry as he makes his way down the concrete stairs and towards his bike. It takes him a while to understand that he might have killed that man tonight.

I need to get back into writing, and you need some assistance paying the red mafia... And you did go feral for Moony's NSFW bio 😏
~
"Shh, shh. I got you, baby." The large wolf-man whispered to you, his deep voice rumbling in his chest and sending a pleasent tingle down your back. His big furry arms were wrapped around you not too tightly; one claw holding one of your thighs up for you to make more room for his hot knot inside your bleeding walls, and the other acting as a weighted heated blanket over your torso. Despite being a canine, he almost seemed to pur as he leaned down close to your neck to nuzzle into you, before giving your cheek a soothing lick- a wolfy kiss, "Just let me know if it gets too much, ok?"
Even though that's what he said, you knew him well enough by now that the last thing he wanted was to pull out. Even if you didn't, the way his dick twitched inside you and the occasional tremble of his hips showed that he needed your pussy as much as you needed his cock (probably even more, in fact, considering what your ovulation did for his breeding kink). He was being very, very good to you. You could easily just lay there and let your worries melt away, let Moony take care of you... But you were also in the perfect position to tease your wolf. You could already hear his quiet whimpering from how your walls clenched around him. It'd be too easy to drive him up the wall at this rate...
~
The way Shiny's nails gently dragged across your scalp while she hummed one of her tunes and you laid your head on her chest threatened to lull you to sleep. If it weren't for your cramping, you might have fallen asleep on the thick silicone she had buried deep inside your pussy. Though you were reminded that you both needed this when you heard Shiny's song being interrupted with a groan, "Fuck... God truly has a sick sense of humor, huh, doll?"
You nodded in sleepy, silent agreement before glancing down to the double-ended toy you both were sharing right now. Both of your pussies oozed red around the black silicone, and were almost touching. If either of you had the energy, Shiny would have been rolling her hips into it with enough expertise for your end to push further into you. But right now, you both were just too exhausted. You both just needed something to stretch your cunts out and relieve you of your period pains; this was just fine for you. Shiny let out a sigh and kissed the top of your head before chuckling a little, "Hey, Hannah? You think the Greenbean is thinking about us right now? How would you feel if I invited him over? After we get our alone time, of course."
~
"'Yer lucky 'yer cute." Henry groaned once he pulled your hips flush against his own. He sounded like an ass, as usual, but you knew that that sound wasn't his annoyed groaning. He pulled your bloody thighs as far apart as they could go and gave your clit a quick flick that made you gasp, before settling back down. Of course, he couldn't be bothered to finish what he started, "I don't usually go for this... But you just had to look at me with those big 'ol eyes of yours."
You rolled your eyes and were about to retort a tired comeback. But it seemed he sensed what you planned, and his thumb found its spot on your nub again; slowly rubbing and grinding into the bundle of nerves. The only thing that managed to escape your mouth was a choked moan, and you didn't need to look up to see the amused smirk on his foxy mug. Despite his claims to not want anything to do with your period, he seemed to have a lot more fun with you in your monthly state than any other time. Just for moments like this.
~
I hope you enjoyed these! I'm not too sure about Henry's. I'm still trying to figure him out in the NSFW department, but I hope his bastardness does something for you 😏 XD

can we have more of evil penny it just is so interesting to me
Penny sat on the rooftop of Beacon and watched Weiss as she spent time with her team, her eyes scanning over every interaction in order to know who Weiss was. Sure, all she had to do was connect to the network and start running through files from the SDC, but it wasnt the same as watching her, learning how she interacted with others, who she was interested in.
“I thought I told you your mission was to keep an eye on Ozpin and the others he has been gathering,” Watts grumbled over Penny’s earpiece. “Watching that girl is going to do nothing but cause you trouble.”
“She is not just some girl, father, she is my first friend.”
“You dont need friends, you only need to focus on supporting Cinder to make sure she doesnt fail.”
Penny rolled her eyes and sent the blueprint of Beacon tower to Cinder’s scroll, a heavy sigh left her. “I have sent Cinder everything she will need in order to get the virus placed.”
“Good. I’ll check in with you again tomorrow.”
Penny slowly took the ear piece out and crushed it in her hand as she lowered herself down the tower. While she enjoyed the opportunity to get away from her father, she had never felt more alone with her mission. She had to hide her true nature at every turn, interacting with other students was limited to the classes she took while under the guise of a Haven student. And even now, the idea of having a friend of her very own seemed far away while she worked with Cinder.
Her feet landed on the concrete below, but her gaze kept on Weiss as she felt her circuits start to heat up. A smile crossed her lips as she watched Weiss finally walk away from her team. She started to make her way over to her, her arm nearly shook as she became nervous. Nervous? Was that something she could really feel? Or was it more how she acted now in hopes to be like the others she had been jealous of.
“Penny? What are you doing?”
Penny stopped as Weiss’s voice brought her out of her thoughts as she almost ran into a wall. Quickly, she backed up and rubbed the back of her head as she’d seen other students do when they were nervous. “I-I guess I was not paying attention.”
Weiss sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. “I thought the only dolt here was Ruby. Guess I was wrong.”
“Dolt?”
“Nevermind. I really need to get going-”
“May I come with you?” The question had left Penny’s lips before she could stop herself, her hand seemed to seize up in anticipation of the answer. “Unless you prefer to be alone, then I could leave.”
“As long as you dont bother me, I dont see a problem with it,” Weiss answered.
Penny smiled and followed Weiss back inside and through the halls of Beacon. Her eyes kept track of Weiss as she walked, unintentionally keeping an eye on her vitals. “You seem upset every time Ruby is mentioned.”
“Because she’s just a child and keeps dragging us into trouble!” Weiss sighed and paused in the hallway and she took a breath to try to calm herself. “Dont get me wrong, I know I’m not the best person myself, but Ruby is too young to be a leader, too childish, too-”
“Ambitious?”
“Irresponsible.”
Penny nodded and put a gentle hand on Weiss’s shoulder. “Then… maybe… maybe we can help her be better.”
“What do you mean?”
“We can… make her a bit more like you.” Penny pulled her hand away, the smile on her face growing as the thought continued to roll around in her mind. “We can upgrade her to make her more responsible, to make her into more of a leader that you would want to follow.”
“Upgrade?” Weiss asked, her voice almost concerned about the idea. “I know I complain about her, but I dont think we would need to take it that far.”
“It would be easier for you to deal with her, right?”
“Yes, but I love her just the way she is.”
Penny froze on the spot, not sure she heard Weiss correctly. “You… love her? But you complain…”
“I know. She’s childish, irresponsible, too young to be here… and I cant imagine having someone else as a leader. Sure, I would love to lead our team since I have been trained for that, but I dont think I could lead half as well as Ruby does right now. When Blake ran off, it was Ruby that kept us together and made sure we could find her and get her back. She’s never once tried to demean me for not having imperfect form, instead watching my back when I falter. And while Yang is her older sister, Ruby’s still there for her.”
Penny slowly nodded, her heart breaking at the words. Of course Weiss couldnt love her, her heart was already set on someone else. But then, a new thought started to come to mind: if Ruby was gone, then Weiss wouldnt have anyone to love. And that love could be hers. All she had to do was get closer to Weiss and Ruby. “So… you love Ruby then?”
Weiss nodded. “I’d never tell her though. She’d never leave me alone if I did.”
Penny grinned and kept to Weiss’s side, already coming up with a plan to make Weiss hers. “Then let us focus on something else. Maybe we could study or get to know each other?”
“As long as you dont turn a study session into a Remnant at War session, I’m fine with that.”

i feel like im dying. nobody wants me around anymore. everyones making it painfully clear theyre sick of me. im a hypocrite. i get upset that they choose drugs over me and drinking over me when i do the same anyway. im high most of the time i spend awake and if i can drag myself to the fucking store im drinking and ive just stopped addressing it now. the ghosts are out to get me. something followed me home the other day i saw it in the mirror it laughed in my ear. the voices have been back for longer than i dare admit but im so used to them that its somewhat comforting having them back. theyre more protective now theres something here. “cover the mirrors” “keep away from the windows” and such. theres always eyes in the dark. i cant make them go for long. there are shadows that move in every corner and ive gotten used to the bugs crawling all over me again. my family dont care, i tried to talk to them and all i was met with was laughter. something kept banging on the window, loud enough to make me jump so fast i went dizzy. i got my dad to check the garden, nothing there. it happened again. he was still in the kitchen. he didnt hear it. either time. neither did my mom. i saw something outside of the window but they didnt believe me they said it must have been in my headphones but it wasnt i rewound the video. no banging. something threw my cup off of the side. i was nowhere near it, home alone, no breeze, nothing else fell, no pets, nothing but me and something else. it threw my cup on the floor and it broke. i was having a good night. it was my favourite cup, i cant drink the drinks i need to drink every day without it. my routine is ruined. thats hard for me. i know it sounds stupid but i suppose you could say my autism clung onto this cup so i could hydrate. i feel empty now that its destroyed. i texted my dad. i told him i want the ghost stuff to stop. they need to make it stop. i cant handle it anymore. i dont feel safe alone in the house. he didnt take me seriously. he still things its my fault. he yelled in a public area that i have to stop being so clumsy, he tried to tell me i was drunk. “you were drunk. you knocked it off the side. you were pissed. you drank way too much” i know i didnt i didnt have anything to drink and the only pills i took where after the matter to calm down and go for a walk high because thats the only thing i could do i couldnt stay in the house. its all so hazy. it feels weird. i experienced the whole thing in 3rd person. ive been tunnelvisioned for weeks now. the color from everything is dull to me and i dont really enjoy anything anymore unless im playing a character.  i tried to explain to my father that i want to die. i tried to tell him i know i am going to kill myself and he told me to “stop being so fucking dramatic”. every day now he yells at me for not getting out of bed, for being lazy. but im hardly sleeping at night the only rest i get is in the day i cant sleep at night anymore and im hardly sleeping in the day anyway i fall asleep at 8-9am and i wake up every 30-60minutes until i get yelled at around 2pm to get up. im mostly mute now. nobody comes to see me. leaving the house to go anywhere but sit on a park swing alone in the dark at night is terrifying and im supposed to be going to comic con on friday. i cant die no matter how much i try ive definitely hit 10-15 attempts in the past year by now. 2 alone this month and its only november. no matter how many pills i take, no matter if i swallow glass, no matter what medication i mix with alcohol, no matter how much i bleed or dont breathe. i just cant die. im immortal. and its killing me in a completely different way to what i want. and yet i still have this irrational fear of almost dying and needing hospital intervention. not even out of fear of being sectioned. i almost want to now. i almost want them to throw me in a psych ward and leave me there. the fear is if that happens, even if im just in for a night. my parents will never let it go, they will never let me go, itll all get worse. ill get no privacy, they will be on my ass all the time. just because it would make them look bad. im trying to go to uni just so i can show them i can move out so thats easily 4 more years of this fucking bullshit before i get a chance at being free. i really dont know how much more of anything i can take. i dont want to be here. i really, really do not.

"Why is he here tsumu."
"Calm down, we gotta do our chemistry work together."
"Your girlfriends a bitch."
"Suna what the fuck-"
And thats where chaos started, shouting, arguing, finger pointing, its without a doubt that the man standing infront of you was one of your least favourable people on the planet, however it doesn't help that he was your boyfriends bestfriend.
"Tsumu tell him to leave!" You whine, foot planted on the ground as your eyes angrily peer at the smug face wiped over Suna Rintaro's face. He was nothing but a nightmare, always ruining the minimal time you and Atsumu have together, and it doesn't help that hes never sorry for it. Sometimes you think Atsumu enjoys hanging out with Suna more than he does his girlfriend - and the way he seems to act never disproves it.
"Well y/n...its raining out, I told him he could stay the night..." Atsumu meekly speaks, voice small in fear of your reaction.
Its times like this where you consider breaking up with your boyfriend, he can be so dense sometimes its painful. Can he not see you dont like him? Whys he letting him interrupt your quality time together?
"Suna. Can I speak to you...alone..." Following your command, atsumu leaves the room, almost glad Suna is the one getting into shit and not him.
It was a dull silence, your furious stare peering straight at the dark haired man slouched infront of you. Hands slumped in his pockets and blank, bored expression planted on him. "Why cant you just leave him alone?"
"What do you mean leave him alone? I dont swing like th-"
"Not in that way! Your always coming here, taking 'tsumu away, whether it be volleyball or work. Im so done with you!" Voice heightened and finger wagged in his face, you were angry to say the least. But he didn't seem to care, as always he was too bothered in his phone to actually give a shit about your words. It was hopeless, you almost came to the conclusion of actually breaking up with atsumu.
'I give up-' you sigh, arms flailing as you move to sit on the couch. Hands cupping your face in frustration and agony. It was only when suna could see you were visibly upset he seemed to care...or so you thought. 'This is pointless.'
'Do you mind not sitting on my jacket? I don't want your tears on it.'
'Wh- as if I'd ever shed a tear on you rintaro.'
The glint in his eyes went unmissed by you, but truth be told suna loved seeing you like this. Fiesty, talking back. He loved your sharp mouth witty tongue, but was always so confused on why you settled for atsumu, he was nothing but goofy - and annoying -.
He never revealed the truth, the real reason why he loved staying around you so much, as if he would - to be caught preying on his bestfriends girlfriend? To be caught stealing her dirty panties from his laundry basket and rubbing his cock with it, imagining it's her on her knees for him and NOT for atsumu. He deserves you, he craves you, needs you even...but hell if he would let you know this. Without a fight anyways...
'Get up.' He ordered, hand grabbing onto your wrist as he dragged you off the couch, your legs instinctively wobbling upwards and hands fallen flat on his chest.
'Fuck! Ouch- atleast handle me with care.'
'What, are you a box or something' he chuckles, your eyes rolling at his pathetic attempt at a joke 'I wonder how atsumu got lucky with a girl like you y/n, you sure do put people in their place...'
'What? The fuck are you on about?'
'Don't blush too hard, just saying...' lips move to mutter closer against your ear, his thumb rubbing circles into your weak wrist as your chests were so close, so close to touching. 'You still got a nasty ass tongue on you'
'You fucking dick-'
'Speak like that a fucking gain ill have to put you in your place-'
'Or what...'
'Such a fucking slut I swear I'll-'
The tension in the room was instantly cut by atsumu calling out your names, your hands ripped apart from his touch as you both walked forth into the bedroom, only to see him laid on the bed flicking through the television.
'Movie?'
-
Muffled noises of a random horror film was played in the background, you, however, were too focused on how you managed to get planted between suna and atsumu, the glare of sunas phone too distracting to watch a film, but you didn't wanna upset atsumu, after all he already seems stressed enough from your prior argument, you wouldn't wanna upset him more would you?
The clock next to you showed 1am. The room was dark, lights turned off and the streets outside were silent, it felt like the film had been playing forever, the stupid animation of some creepy dolls killing humans, what a waste of time.
'Tsumu...' you whisper, lips moving to tap at his neck, fingers clawing lower between his thighs, your teeth clasping the skin of his neck, denting dark purple circles into him. 'Need you so bad...'
If suna isn't gonna leave, your not gonna give up your sex life for him.
'Not now y/n...' he mutters, pulling you into his lap and mumbling against your lips, erection digging right into your slit.
A disappointed whine escaped your mouth as you turned around to face the TV, atsumu's arms hugging you closer to his body. The flick of your eye showed you suna wasn't half interested, his phone tossed to a side as he watched the film, hands cupped behind his head and eyes almost asleep.
It wasn't until you felt atsumu's fingers crawl between your legs that you tensed up again, his head leaning forth on your shoulder to kiss your cheek, lips curling towards your ears as he spoke as quietly as he could 'gotta be quiet then...'
His digits wasted no time massaging your clit through your panties, slow agonising circles that had your breathing drop and legs close together, your fingers clawing onto his arm as you tried your best to focus on the film, Suna next to you still not noticing.
You almost rode him from how good he felt, tip nudging at your g spot as he finally pushed his fingers inside you, rubbing you how you like. His grip on your waist tightening, pulling you closer to him.
'Yes...yes like that...' a silent whine left your lips as you kept trying to reach your climax, the pace of his fingers increasing, thumb rubbing circles right into your soft spot, your body almost numb from him, it's been so long you swear you felt like you could fuck him for hours.
'This films shit. Imma sleep.' Suna interrupted, Atsumus action halting to a stop. You felt like crying, you were so so close, Suna probably knew that too.
'Ah..okay. Well maybe we should sleep then' He speaks, placing you on the bed next to Suna and getting up to turn the television off. You angrily throw the covers over your head and drift off to sleep, upset and disappointed.
-
The clock showed 3am. You wouldn’t stop tossing and turning, no matter what you couldn’t fall asleep. Atsumu’s back faced towards you as Suna was laying upright, soft snores escaping your boyfriends mouth.
‘Quit moving-‘ suna whispered, eyes flickering open to look at you as you slumped your head against your pillow, peering at his messy form. Hair draped over his sleepy, cat like eyes and long hands gently nudging your exposed thigh.
‘Fuck off.’
‘Cant sleep?’
‘What do you think.’
‘Just fucking sleep-‘ was his last words before pulling the duvet over his head and attempting to fall back asleep.
The clock was ticking but you were wide awake, silently you dragged yourself out of bed, waddling downstairs into the kitchen for some water.
Goosebumps trembled up your legs at the feeling of being so exposed, shorts showing the lower curve of your ass and your white tank top hardly protecting anything, glasses nudged up on your nose so you could see what you were doing.
Filling up a glass of water, you drank it all, the droplets of water dripping down your top and collecting at your boobs, but you couldn’t care, you felt like an insomniac.
‘Since you woke me up, the least you could do is get me a glass’
The voice behind you startled you, Suna stood at the doorway, sweatpants hung at his hips as he stretches his back, legs nearing towards you as he leans over you to snatch a glass from the cupboard.
‘Didn’t you sleep?’
‘No, you wouldn’t stop fucking moving’
‘Well there’s just not enough room in the bed for the three of us’
‘True, you should’ve went home’ he nonchalantly speaks, taking a sip from his glass of water and setting it on the desk. Standing infront of your smaller figure, the reflection of the moonlight really bringing out your eyes.
‘I’ve had it up to here with you suna! Just fuck off god the only reason I fucking speak to you is cause your always around fucking MY BOYF-‘
‘You speak too much.’ He says, pushing his fingers deep down your throat, so far you were gagging, finger nails gripping at his wrist to let you go. He wouldn’t though, instead he pushed you closer to the worktop, spinning you round and slamming you face first with the cold marble.
‘G-get off of me’
‘Fuck no- you think you deserve it? Interrupting my sleep? Shouting at me? Swearing at me?’
‘Of course you deserve it you pr- AH’ Your retaliation earnt you a harsh slap to your ass, back arched even closer down, tits spewing out of your top, cold nipples erect from the glass.
The skin of your ass was flushed red, his fingers moving to grip at your skin, tweezing it, long fingers dragged lower and lower towards your entrance, examining how you try your hardest to close your thighs, but the grip between your legs prevents that.
‘Your such a brat, don’t think I didn’t notice miya fingering you earlier, you that desperate?’ He tugs your hair, your back arched and eyes tilted to meet his.
‘A-ah I don’t know what your talking about.’
‘Don’t fucking lie. Did you even cum?’
‘…’
‘Such a brat hm? Fine. Gonna be like that, I’ll make sure your crying to cum at the end of the night’ dragging your lips into his, he spits down your throat, drool lathering at the edges of your mouth as his tongue swirls down your throat. Large cock prodding from behind you, his free hand moving to palm at himself, gathering the slick from your cunt as his pre-cum earning a whine from you.
‘Ah- suna…’
‘Want me to fuck this pretty pussy hm? Fuck it better than your precious boyfriend ever could? You want that?’ He mocks
‘Y-yes yes ah- please…’
It didn’t take much protesting until he pushes inside of you, your lip bitten down harshly in an attempt to not scream, he was so big. Long vein struck all through his cock, nudging at your tight walls. Small thrusts of his hips had you almost going feral, the lewd noises filling up the hollow walls of the kitchen.
Your ass shook against his thighs, slamming and haltering by his hips, sharp slaps sent to your core as he kept playing with you. His cock felt so good, prodding you so well, he was almost made for you.
‘Feels so good baby…’
‘Gotta keep it down princess, don’t want miya hearing do ya? Or do ya…?’
‘NO- no no ill- fuck yeah- keep quiet…’
‘Good girl…’ he kept going, your tits violently shaking under you, thighs trembling and slick pooling at your stomach, the knot was tightening and you were so close to cumming. Red marks on your ass defining his hand print, your sore lips being dragged into another sloppy kiss as you came closer and closer to your end.
‘Gn’ cum’
‘Yeah?’
‘Yeah yeah…fuck…’
It was then he pulled out, a sharp gasp sent from your mouth as you eagerly try your best to thrust back onto his cock, his large hand moving to push on your ass, preventing you from moving.
‘Ya gotta earn it doll? Whose the better fucker, me? Or your boyfriend ?’
‘Y-you’ you meekly whisper, body to weak to respond
‘What’s that?’
‘You, you baby please- need you so bad please..’
‘And what do you need me to do princess?’
‘Make me cum, wanna cum so much on your cock please, wanna milk you so bad please daddy please…’ you were so close to crying, tears brimming the water line of your eyes. You felt so deprived, you needed him to fuck you again.
‘Fine baby… go for it.’
He slammed deep inside you, your eyes falling to the back of your head as you cried a moan, hips jolting at an inhumane pace inside your tight pussy, you were milking him out, clenching around him so well he almost forgot what he was doing, your cum spurting over his cock, your body weakly moaning as you wailed a loud cry. He finished soon after, warm spurts of white leaked inside of you.
‘F-fuck..’ he lowly groaned, pulling himself out of you and admiring what a mess he’s made inside of your pretty pussy.
Turning your head around you were faced with the flash of his camera, capturing your exposed, fucked out face. And zooming into the mess he’s made in your pussy, his fingers plunging inside to make sure you don’t drop any.
‘What are you doing?!’
‘Sending this to atsumu, ya don’t think he deserves a girlfriend who would cheat on him, do ya princess?’

recommend listening to: you finally found the one; playlist + try again - jaehyun, d.ear
Tumblr media
student! thoma x student! reader
thoma is well known, well known for his good looks and his calm and helpful nature
it's no surprise when thoma says that he has a pretty tight schedule, many people take advantage of his kind nature - "hey thoma! my guy, can you help me clean this classroom? i have to go some where and i dont have time to do it.." "oh! uh sure thing!"
thoma is always getting called left and right, people wanting thoma to help them with their homework, cleaning, moving boxes and props and many more
thoma gets along with other people really well, strangers or not.
so when the teacher calls you to help other students move the props thoma immediately strikes up a conversation, not before xiao begs you not to leave him alone with the other idiots
"y/n! please dont leave me with these.." xiao turns to look at the crowd of people in front of him, scrunching his nose xiao resumed talking "idiots.."
"im so sorry xiao, but i need to help them move the props or else i'll get in trouble!"
after a few seconds xiao hesitantly lets go but as soon as you walked away xiao pulls you by your arm "what are you going xiao?"
"im going with you. what if you get hurt?"
and so you and xiao walk to the room and opened the door - there standing was thoma and a few other students, "oh! are you guys here to help us move the props?" "yeah we are, where do we start?" "just over there - thanks!"
you hum as a sign of acknowledgment, xiao follows you and insists on carrying them for you which you agree after xiao persists.
while xiao is moving the props to one and place to another, thoma walks to your side - you don't notice him until he speaks "hey uh are you alright?" you turn to face thoma, you've heard that thoma had a beautiful face, a face that looked as if it was sculptured straight from angels.
"yea im fine, why?" "you just looked.. out of it you know?" "mhm"
after exchanging a few sentences, it wasn't as awkward as it was before - thoma eased the awkwardness by telling a few jokes there and then.
after xiao was done he came back to you, "cmon y/n lets g-" xiao pauses as he sees another man next to you, talking to you, it was thoma.
honestly xiao had no problems with another guy talking to you he does but the look on thoma's face says otherwise.
before you knew it xiao was dragging you away as thoma and the others watch you getting dragged away by the, as it seems angry xiao.
"x-xiao! what are you doing?" "i already moved all the props." "oh, thanks xiao!" you say while smiling, though you were still confused on why he dragged you away
Every now and then you and thoma would meet up - but that would only be sometimes. sometimes you two would accidentally bump into each other and say your hi's and goodbye's - you two were even different classes so you two weren't close but thoma would still smile at you every time your eyes meet.
thoma always wanted to stay by your side, all his worries seem to disappear when next to you. but due to his tight schedule and constant pestering from others - he couldn't
although you and thoma only talked for a bit, your aura gave him comfort, you were something else - you didn't try to use him and you seemed like a genuinely nice person.
hopefully, you and him could talk more often
Tumblr media
student! itto x student! reader
itto is only a grade above you, now honestly.. the only reason why itto is famous around the school is because of his muscular body and how he's quite literally.. huge, no, bulky.
he's also famous due to his VERY hyperactive nature, even if he didnt eat sugar, it seems like he did eat a little bit too much sugar.
itto is part of the basketball team though he's not really good at basketball.. there are rumours that itto is only the team to make their team look strong and fearsome rather than weak and small.
you and itto never talked to each other, you two lived completely different lives, you were a normal student who studied there and then and didn't go out a lot but itto? that's a whole different story
the ONLY time you and itto ever talked was during p.e
you and itto were put into a team together - due to his outgoing nature you two got along pretty quickly though you absolutely hated it when he swung his arm around you
whenever there was an athletic carnival itto would be here(along with xiao and more) to cheer you on
you could be racing against the fasted students in the school and itto would still be cheering for you..
(but hey, let itto do his thing)
you also cheer for itto whenever it's his turn to race or participate in any sport activity
itto loves it when you cheer for him and he's really bad at hiding it
"go itto!! you got this!" "i know i got this y/n! i wont let you down!"
then a few seconds later he misses a shot because he was too busy looking your way and talking to you REALLY loudly, it was embarrassing but it was also sweet
itto had a HUGE grin on his face, itto knew that he was smiling like a mad man but he couldn't hide it, how unfortunate.
itto will try to find where you sit at break. will push xiao just to sit right next to you which often leads to xiao glaring at itto and dragging you away from this "idiot".
although itto looks like the type to get horrible grades, his grades are pretty decent which yes, is surprising
might even tutor you if you ask him.
itto gets distracted very often when you're there in a sporting event or anywhere really.
and that might get itto kicked out of basketball so the basketball's coach advises you to not go there anymore
:(
itto is obviously saddened by this but still makes the effort to meet up with you
will still be the same big, energetic puppy boy even if you two dont talk anymore - itto's holding a grudge against his coach right now
itto WILL purposely annoy the coach just so that he can get kicked out of the hall and meet up with you/sit with you.
he might even get banned, but does that really matter? nope
Tumblr media
student! albedo x student! reader
albedo is apart of the painting class, known for his good looks and his not socializing a lot
his mysterious personality catches the eye of many - and that includes you.
albedo is often seen walking towards the library and then walking out after about 2-3 hours, how do you know that? oh well..
you were one of albedo's fangirls..
not the crazy ones of course. you found his quite handsome and due to him having mysterious nature, you felt obligated to find out what he does in his free time
you're not being a stalker you swear :')
you weren't those fangirls who went crazy whenever albedo walked out one of his classes, those fangirls who followed him whenever he went, the ones who bug him a lot, the ones who.. YOU GET IT
so here you are, watching albedo walk into the library - once he closes the door you walk over to the door and open it quietly
watching albedo sit down you walk over to the aisle of books
taking one fat book out you eye albedo while using the book to cover your lower face, only your eyes remained.
albedo sat down on the chair and started to write
you thought you were being slick but.. you weren't, at all.
"i can you see you" "..."
was that directed to you? you dont know so you stay still, still eyeing albedo until he looks up to look at YOU
you felt your face burning up - you knew that albedo was handsome but to be THIS handsome?!
"... you can stop staring at me now" "huh?" "you keep on staring at me, do you need anything?" "oh.."
well this is embarrassing isn't it?
after you explained everything to albedo he sighed, "you could've just asked me you know? i dont mind you showing what i do on a daily basis. there's no need to be a stalker.." "oh well... that would be nice"
since then you and albedo would walk around the school whenever
talking about flowers and mechanics - it was one of albedo's favourite subjects after all.
though albedo aren't in any of the same classes with you and has a very busy and stressful life - he still tries to talk to you, albedo has come to known that talking to you made his day more better, your words were reassuring, your whole presence made him feel not.. overwhelmed
the amount of girls and sometimes even guys harassing and even following him everyday was already stressing enough but once none of them are there and you're just there, sitting next to him in the library - it just seems like heaven.
albedo also buys MANY drinks for you and saves your seat in the library - for studying of course.
did i not mention how albedo tutors you? no? well..
albedo tutors you whenever there's an upcoming exam or test for you - and he's the BEST when tutoring you.
you don't have to pay him, no nothing.
it's FREE!!!
and albedo doesn't over complicate it. he wants you to get good grades and for you to not stress at all.
tutoring and buying coffee for you are his subtle ways of caring for you.
albedo really cares for you but nobody was really there for him so he doesn't know how to show his love to you.
(and so he uses google)
and that's how albedo finds himself buying coffee for you!! and tutoring you more often.
he wants the best for you, and he'll make sure that you dont struggle in school and so that you can find a good job that pays well, if not then he'll still be there! helping you whenever you need it :)
