for the pendulum: Could simon and I ever be friends again?
No, but that doesn't mean what you had wasn't beautiful or significant. I think we as a collective assume that things have to last for them to be worthwhile, but everything ends including connection. It doesn't mean it was without worth, just that you guys are different people now with different needs and wants within connection. You'll find new people to belong to.

105 Question Witchcraft ask!
I started this back in 2023, when this was first posted. I never got around to finishing it until today. This is a super long post, so feel free to skip it!
Answers under the cut!
---
1. Are you solitary or in a coven?
I am solitary, but I wish I were in a coven.
2. Do you consider yourself Wiccan, Pagan, witch, or other?
I consider myself a Pagan and a witch.

I am a Pisces!
4. Do you have a Patron God/dess?
No, but I devote to multiple deities!
5. Do you work with a Pantheon?
I work with multiple Gods and Goddesses from Greek pantheon, but I also work with the Norse god Loki
6. Do you use tarot, palmistry, or
any other kind of divination?
Tarot and pendulum mainly, but I want to learn palmistry and tasseography. I’m also hoping to build up a osteomancy or charm casting set.
7. What are some of your favorite herbs to use in your practice? (if any)
Cinnamon, bay leaves, salts, saffron
8. How would you define your craft?
Eclectic? I’m not sure.

10. How long have you been practicing?
Since the pandemic in 2020. So, four years.
11. Do you currently or have you ever had any familiars?
No to both
12. Do you believe in Karma or
Reincarnation?
I’m not sure what my belief is on these. I think energy can’t be destroyed or created, so I think the energy from your life lives on after you die, but I don’t know if I would necessarily call it reincarnation. I also don’t know if that energy contains your consciousness, so I’m not sure if you’d even be aware after you die.

Yes! Both of my parents know I’m a witch and they support me.

A self love spell!
16. Would you consider yourself knowledgeable?

Yes! Of course!
20. What is your favorite gemstone?
Raw blue quartz, moss agate, or selenite.
21. Do you use feathers, claws, fur, pelt, skeletons/bones, or any other animal body part for magical work?
No I don’t use them in my workings, but I collect them. I want to make an osteomancy set with parts some day.
22. Do you have an altar?
I used to have several, but I moved and now I only have two.
23. What is your preferred element?
Earth.
24. Do you consider yourself an Alchemist?
No.
25. Are you any other type of magical practitioner besides a witch?
I am also a Pagan and a polytheist.

No.

40. What is the first spell you ever preformed? Successful or not?
I believe so! My first spell was a protection spell.
41. What’s the craziest witchcraft-related thing that’s happened to you?

People who don’t think closed practices are real, or, even worse, recognize but don’t respect closed practices
53. Do you like incense? If so what’s your favorite scent?
YES!!!! My favorite is the one Lord Apollon insists on me offering to him, which is lavender scented. I also really like the sugar cookie incense I have.
54. Do you keep a dream journal of any kind?
No, but I’d like to.
55. What has been your biggest witchcraft disaster?
I haven’t had any “disasters” so far
56. What has been your biggest witchcraft success?
I guess my self love charm. It’s kept me hopeful during a difficult time and it was really nice.
57. What in your practice do you do that you may feel silly or embarrassed about?
I guess talking out loud to my deities. I don’t have a door and I live with my parents, so I always whisper and end up giggling because of how stupid I feel.
58. Do you believe that you can be an atheist, Christian, Muslim or some other faith and still be a witch too?
Yes, of course! Witchcraft is a practice, not a religion.

66. Do you wear pagan jewelry in public?
I have jewelry dedicated to my deities, but nothing with Pagan symbols or anything.
67. Have you ever been discriminated against because of your faith or being a witch?
My ex-girlfriend is a Jehovah's Witness and broke up with me after she found out I was a Pagan.
68. Do you read or subscribe to any pagan magazines?
No? I didn’t know that was a thing!!! That sounds epic.
69. Do you think it’s important to know the history of paganism and witchcraft?
Yes, for sure.
70. What are your favorite things about being a witch?
Being able to use my art to create both symbolic and physical change in my life, and being in a community who (for the most part) supports me and doesn’t discriminate against my identity.
71. What are your least favorite things about being a witch?
I like pretty much everything about my practice and faith. I guess if I had to pick something it’d be people who don’t understand or try to convert witches.
72. Do you listen to any pagan music? If so who is your favorite singer/band?
I don’t know what qualifies as “Pagan Music”, so I guess not.
73. Do you celebrate the Esbbats? If so, how?
I celebrate full and new moons, mostly by making moon water, but sometimes doing rituals depending on the moon phase.
74. Do you ever work skyclad?
NO
75. Do you think witchcraft has improved your life? If so, how?
Yes! I feel loved and free, and like I am able to be myself. I also love being in tune with nature and the Gods.
76. Where do you draw inspiration from for your practice?
Not sure what this question means, but I mainly draw from Hellenic polytheism.
77. Do you believe in ‘fantasy’ creatures? (Unicorns, fairies, elves, gnomes, ghosts, etc)
Some of those, but not all of them. I believe in the fae, but not how they’ve been portrayed in media. I also believe in ghosts, but again, not how they’ve been portrayed on TV and stuff.
78. What’s your favorite sigil/symbol?
I make all my own sigils, so I have many favorites I use. I like the pentacle.
79. Do you use blood magick in your practice? Why or why not?
No. I am a minor, so I won’t offer pee, scat, or blood to deities or the universe. I also don’t put any of those in spells. I don’t think I will, even after I become an adult; it’s just not my thing.
80. Could you ever be in a relationship with someone who doesn’t support your practice?
Apparently not (like I said earlier, my ex-gf dumped me because of it). I think it’s fair to disagree with my practice, but if they’re actively going against me because of my religious beliefs, it probably wouldn’t work out.
81. In what area or subject would you most like your craft to grow?
Shadow work and self improvement
82. What’s your favorite candle scent? Do you use it in your practice?
All my candles are unscented, but I really liked the “Champagne Toast” scent I had in an old candle. I have it as a lotion and body wash now.
83. Do you have a pre-ritual ritual? (I.e. Something you do before rituals to prepare yourself for them). If so what is it?
No, I do not.
84. What real life witch most inspires your practice?
I don’t know many real life witches!
85. What is your favorite method of communicating with deity?
PENDULUM!!!!!
86. How do you like to organize all your witchy items and ingredients?
They’re all either on one of my altars or in my kitchen cabinet.
87. Do you have any witches in your family that you know of?
No.
88. How have you created your path? What is unique about it?
My path is full of things I enjoy, and has a very prevalent focus on deity work, divination, and small/simple spells and rituals. I feel like I work with more Gods and Goddesses than most people do, so I guess that’s unique?
89. Do you feel you have any natural gifts or affinities (premonitions, hearing spirits, etc.) that led you toward the craft? If so what are they?
Nope!
90. Do you believe you can initiate yourself or do you have to be initiated by another witch or coven?
If it’s a closed religion, you need to be initiated by someone in the religion. If it’s an open religion, I think you can initiate yourself, if initiation is what fits your fancy.
91. When you first started out in your path what was the first thing or things you bought?
Itty bitty spell jars from Dollar Tree. And a beefy candle second hand, and some incense.
92. What is the most spiritual or magickal place you’ve been?
My own bedroom with all of my candles lit and soft music playing.
93. What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone who is searching for their matron and patron deities?
Take things slow, get to know your deities, and don’t forget to show respect to them and their time.
94. What techniques do you use to ‘get in the zone’ for meditation?
Breathing and music
95. Did visualization come easily to you or did you have to practice at it?
I can’t really visualize very well, as I can’t see things in my mind. I’m pretty good about thinking out words in my brain though to depict these scenes.
96. Do you prefer day or night? Why?
Night! I feel like it’s so peaceful when everyone is asleep
97. What do you think is the best time and place to do spell work?
Whenever and wherever you're most focused, relaxed, and in tune with the world around you.
98. How did you feel when you cast your first circle? Did you stumble or did it go smoothly?
I’m not Wiccan, so I don’t cast circles. I do cleanse my room and set intentions before starting a spell or opening a communication line.
99. Do you believe witchcraft gets easier with time and practice?
Yes!
100. Do you believe in many gods or one God with many faces?
I believe in many gods that change how they appear based on different cultural contexts. For example, I think that all Zeus is just the Greek rendition of Thor, and vice versa. And that all the Gods of Hellenism can get a makeover and make up the Christian God. I think depending on who's worshipping and their culture, they may pray and worship a different deity, but ultimately they’re all syncratic, just in different contexts, which makes them take a different shape and have different qualities, which makes them somewhat different deities. TLDR; Both.
101. Do you eat meat, eggs and dairy?
I try not to, but it’s hard given our financial situation. It's cheaper to eat non-vegan in America than it is to eat plant based.
102. What is your favorite color and why?
Black! I feel confident in black, and all my clothing is black.
103. What is the one question you get asked most by non-practitioners or non-pagans? How do you usually respond?
I don’t really talk about my paganism with people in real life, so I don’t come across people who aren’t practitioners too often. I had a friend who’s interested in Hellenism, and we talked about that for a while, but I wouldn’t call them a “non-practitioner”.
104. Which of your five senses would you say is your strongest?
Touch!
105. What is a pagan or witchcraft rule that you preach but don’t practice?
I’m not sure! I take all of my own advice, for the most part. I can’t think of anything right now.

If you want to, do you think you could do a therapy scenario with any creep of your choosing? Maybe slender sits that creep with himself or sits that creep with someone he feels like they would get along with? Kinda like that Jeff and Jane therapy session you did a while ago. Thanks!
It has been a while since I've written something like this~ Hope you enjoy~ I wanted to keep this in the spirit of the original scenario you referenced, so there's no bullet points to this either
You can find the referenced scenario by clicking here
I hope you like this, because I do!
Toby sat in silence before the being in front of him, eyes down so he wouldn't have to look at him. While it was normal to have these group therapy sessions as a GROUP, all in the same area, it was agreed due to his anxiety and general nature that Toby and Slender would be isolated for today's session while the others stayed outside in the courtyard, Tim in charge of monitoring them while Slender and Toby slipped away to Slender's office.
There was a comfort plushie clutched in Toby's grasp, his hands delicately squeezing and stroking it to calm him down as Slender sat in front of him, returning his silence. The clock in the background of the room continued to tock, the large pendulum swinging back and forth as time passed, although neither of them were in any rush today. When the time finally came, it would be Slender to speak first.
"Is there anything, in particular, you'd like to talk about today?" His voice was soft and calm, but Toby still flinched before him, beginning to tremble as he sat before him.
"It doesn't have to be about anything bad. Could be as simple as something that interests you, something you'd like to do in the future. Anything at all." Slender maintained his calming tone, and Toby seemed to consider his words.
Slender was well aware that Toby had lived through nothing but nightmares his entire life. He'd have to have to learn the behavior that he exhibits, but Slender wasn't his father. He'd never punish him or react to him in the same way that man would.
"I... Like butterflies." Toby's voice was quiet, and Slender would have missed it had he not been intently focused on the boy in front of him.
"Butterflies? You have a collection of those in your room, don't you?" He questioned, trying to push Toby to continue speaking. Toby nodded his head.
"They... Make me.. Happy. They're beautiful... And I want t-to... To fly li-like them someday." Toby snuggled into the plushie he was clutching, eyes lightening up as he talked about the insects he loved so much.
Slender hummed and nodded his head in agreement. In his time off Toby would often catch butterflies and house them until they passed, and then he would pin them and add them to the collection decorating his bedroom walls. Slender reckoned it was a coping mechanism for his trauma with how eager it made him, and good things were to be encouraged. Slender slowly moved his hands into his desk, Toby's eyes following him, studying him, and he pulled out a button pin. A pin decorated with butterflies.
"You also like to collect pins too, don't you?" Slender asked, holding it out for him to take, and after Toby hesitated for a few moments, he reached out and took the pin, looking over it in his grasp as he nodded.
"M-m-my mom... Used to give... Them to me..." He said in awe, before pinning it onto his shirt's left cuff, looking down at it. "They always... Meant I did... Something good." Toby smiled down at it, and Slender breathed a sigh of relief.
Slender had met Toby's mother several times, as she was Toby's last surviving relative. She liked to help out with the mansion and visit Toby from time to time, and Slender could tell she had a good impact on him. It was rare, however, for Toby to openly speak of her, for fear of remembering the bad parts of his upbringing.
It was challenging to get Toby to open up, and yet that was why Slender had these therapy days for the residents in the first place. So he could get them to open up over time, get them to share their trauma, and cope with it. It was his way of helping them and giving back to them, and he'd do his best to work with them like how he was working with Toby now. He'd do whatever he could to help them smile in the same way Toby was right now. Pure and honest. Just what they all needed and deserved.

🍁 How is your current WIP going, and can we have a sneak peek?
👀👀👀
Hi @mamabearcat ❤
So...I actually sprinted a little over 1k on Skinwalkers last night. Sounds good, but I had to sleep on what I need to do next. I've made it to the second plot point of the 9 step plot outline (the Dark Night of the Soul is a really fitting title for this part let me tell you). I'm reaching a point where Kagome is starting to learn more things, and I need to keep the reveal properly paced, but I need to decide the best way to drop the breadcrumbs without dumping the entire bag. Hard to do in a sprint 🤣
I don't think this part is spoilery, but it will play a part in some things that are definitely spoilers...
She tried every room in the house. It was tedious, and she thought that she had made a mistake until she got a Yes.
It was in the kitchen.
She decided to take it a section at a time, starting from the doorway and working her way further in the room. The pendulum was giving a quick No before she could even finish the question, like the one guiding her was getting impatient. The closer she got to the pantry, the more erratic it became. Kagome barely got the door open and the board placed before the chain in her hand took off like a shot, soaring into the depths of the shelves and connecting with glass.
“Fuck,” she hissed, moving containers out of the way to assess the damage. It would be her luck that the stone busted one of the jars of pasta sauce. The shelves weren’t treated because Inuyasha hadn’t gotten around to it before the accident and if they stained –
The pendulum hadn’t smashed a jar of sauce, but one of the black glass bottles.
Kagome fetched the dustpan and the hand broom from the little storage closet nearby to collect the shards. There were so many bottles, maybe he wouldn’t notice one had gone missing? Were they even his? She stared down at the pile of remains in the pan. There was nothing inside that could’ve told her what it contained typically, so it was either cleaned incredibly well or it had never been used. Something about the bottle had attracted the pendulum enough to make it known to her regardless.
She set the dustpan down on the kitchen island, placing the pendulum board before it. This time, however, she kept a tighter grip on the chain. “Does this bottle have something to do with my husband?”
Yes.
Like before, it hadn’t waited to let her finish. Worry started to creep up her spine with how receptive the pendulum’s guide was being. “Did my husband buy these bottles?”
No.
“Has he touched them?” If she could figure out how he was connected maybe –
Rephrase.
